11月のレッスンスケジュール

2021年11月21日 第3日曜日 Motoka クラスWS ② 13:00-14:50 ベーシックと振付のオールレベルクラスです。 11月はYes'ed Sabahak (Good Morning）の曲をそろそろ仕上げなきゃですね。 今年もそろそろ終わりですね。Nassam Alayna も踊ってみましょう。この曲は思いの外みなさまのそれぞれの思いがある曲みたいで、いろんな形で踊っていただきたいです！ （どちらもFairuzすてきな曲です！！） 寒くなってきたのでベーシックトレーニングドリルもたくさんやりましょう。

11月も申し訳ございませんが、1回のみのWSになります。 （秋はイベントが多いですね、緊急事態宣言も解除されて急に学校や幼稚園が通常に戻りやることが増えて焦ってます(^_^;)) 12月もイベントのためWS②12/19 13:00-14:50になると思います。 (私用ですが12/12は梅ヶ丘のFepMarketの陶器市に参加します！お近くの方はぜひお立ち寄りください。詳細はのちほど) 12/19: 13:00-14:50は今年度一度やったOldJazzのかわいいフュージョンの振り付けをもう一度やろうと思います。 初めての方もそうでない方もぜひ！

Swing to Bop

I couldn’t help think that yesterday’s track from a 1965 album might not have sufficiently met the brief to recommend a “good old jazz guitar album”. Perhaps I can find an older one. If Wes Montgomery influenced all the jazz guitarists that followed him, who influenced Wes? Without question, the most important was Charlie Christian. Wes bought his first guitar the day after hearing a Charlie Christian record at a dance with his wife in 1943. Sadly Charlie Christian was already dead by then, having died at just 25, in 1942. So while today’s album was says it was released in 1957, the recording is clearly older. As far as I can work out it was probably recorded at live sessions at Minton’s Playhouse in Harlem, New York in May 1941. I’m pretty sure that qualifies as an “oldjazz guitar album”. It even beats the 1948 album that gave rise to the request. I’ll leave it to Fisher and other guitar fans to tell me if they consider it “good”. Swing to Bop – Charlie Christian – Bozzie 🎷

Not only was it my 20th birthday yesterday but it was also my first year anniversary with Wild 💚 We first met (properly) in person on Saturday 19th March 2016 outside #scruffymurphys from that day on we've been apart of each other's lives. #billieholiday #crazyhecallsme is one of our songs...
