some trivia about the Starkeeper.
✩ ˖° — its character and world setting are inspired by the claim that we are made of stardust and is set mostly in space. it plays with the tangible existence of stardust and souls both, though the certainty of this is rare. there are a lot of cultures whose faith has brought them closer to this, while for some it was merely happenstance. tragically, the more death surrounds you, the more likely you are to witness Stardust — and with it the Starkeeper.
✩ ˖° — not entirely decided on the size yet, but definitely on the smaller end. somewhere around a maine coon, though the artwork does not convey such.
✩ ˖° — it is most often spotted around recent ship graveyards; the aftermath of a battle. it does not appear bothered by the lack of atmosphere at all, using debris and its wings to bounce from one wreck to the next. however, this one is not the only of its kin, and certainly not the only keeper of death. there will always be someone — or something — coming for the dead, whether or not ordinary people can see it, no matter how long it takes.
✩ ˖° — its reputation varies greatly, particularly because there is very little confirmed information on it. few have seen it, and even fewer have interacted with it. many stories come from people who saw it minutes after they survived a traumatizing tragedy, making it a dubious testamony. sometimes even to themselves, given its mystical appearance and task. some say that after it was done with its collection, it stayed with them until help arrived. fur soft as silk; a voice of lullabies.
✩ ˖° — in some cultures it is a benevolent keeper of the dead, to others an omen of death. among ship captains it serves as a very simple warning: death. wherever the Keeper goes, the deceased are waiting. some stay clear, others try to follow its trail, but few are successful. it does not like being followed, lest it risk interference.
✩ ˖° — there are crews with whom the Starkeeper has forged a certain bond of trust. people it knows are selfless and good at heart. the ones that will follow it into the remains of a tragedy and safe those that yet remain, while the Keeper tends to those that did not. on rare occasions it will deign to stay on their ship for a while, but it is always gone by the time they make port.
✩ ˖° — despite its somewhat mystical appearance and reputation, it has often simply been named a “pretty rodent” or “space ferret”. it is a very elusive creature that very few have managed to study. you will be lucky to observe it from a distance. a very quick and flexible critter, able to fit in surprisingly small crevices despite its wings and accessories. curiously, the moment you loose sight of it, its noises cease and all that is glimpsed is a quickly dissipating trail of stars.
✩ ˖° — an integral part of the spatial ecosystem. the flora that blooms from the Stardust it collects will eventually cycle back to become new souls, thus perpetuating the cycle. though this will happen on its own, the Starkeeper quickens the process and ensures a safe environment, away from natural disasters and those who would collect Stardust for their own gain.
✩ ˖° — the Starkeeper is equally driven by duty, desire and instinct. it takes pride in its Garden of Stardust Flowers, and is always looking to collect more. the flora that will blossom varies from person to person, based on the life they lived, and the Keeper can tell the result with haunting accuracy the closer they are to death. as such, it will prioritize collecting from those who will blossom into the desired flora. but no Stardust will be shunned or left behind.
✩ ˖° — although it cannot entirely predict death, it does have a good nose for impending disaster, and has a habit of hovering around the people whose Stardust it wants; this is where it gets its reputation as an omen of death from. though it is rarely spotted, such sights do accummulate over the millennias ( the Keeper itself is not as old, but its species is ).
✩ ˖° — the Starkeeper has a very particular sense of individuality, but those details are still being hashed out, as is the significance of the accessories. As a whole, it is a very... softly morbid? creature. being so closely connected to the cycle and constantly surrounded by death, it has a very particular approach to it that more sentimental beings might struggle to comprehend. the Keeper is not callous, per say, but its care is for the Stardust and the living, not the cold, empty corpses left behind.
✩ ˖° — ‘ Starkeeper ‘ is not its true name and more so used for the species as a whole, but truthfully is a placeholder name until I decide on something else, ssshh. in some circles it is also known as the Caretaker.

My contribution to the “what happened to Kuzon?” question, I guess. No canon, just me making myself cry. Kuzon was old. He knew that, and with every move he made his body reminded him. Still, he was crouching over to clean the dust from a statue. The monk that it resembled had his eyes closed and seemed to be mediating, blissfully unaware off the world around him. Kuzon sighed. What would he give to just trade spots with him. Once more, he was not sure if he was supposed to find it rather funny or tragic that this small shed, in a small village between somewhere and nowhere, was where his life had led him. His parents had been a merchants. But not the kind of merchant you would meet on the city market and who'd sell you cabbage or fish. The kind of merchant that travelled to Ba Sing Se or Omashu and returned with ancient relicts that they'd sell some fire nation nobleman. Or the other way around, trade spices that would be used to for the spicy pickled kelp severed to earth kingdom royals. And Kuzon had been accompanying them for as long as he could remember, and a lot of it, he had loved. Counting heavy coins while sitting on his father lap, helping his mother chose between different colored pieces of cloth to buy and sell again for more, crossing items from a list before he even could read the words. And of course, he had met two of his best friends on their journeys. Bumi and Aang. And he had believed that that would be how things would stay, and that one day, he would grow up to be a merchant as well. Of course, in his mind he then imagines being the greatest merchant there ever was, who would have dinner with the king of Omashu and make his parents proud. And of course, that dream shattered as childrens dreams do. One conversation it had taken to tear his world apart. One conversation that he had listend to from the closet in their living room. Kuzon had used to hide when his parents welcomed wealthy clients, as they had never wanted him around then. Today, he still remembered that one trade as if it had been yesterday, not a century ago.
“You know, the prices for those artifacts are going to increase rapidly soon,” his mother had said, her you find my price to high but there is nothing you can do about that voice as he called it. “It is not like new once will enter the market. And I even heard that the government is striating to seize and destroy those that are currently one it.” Kuzon was angry at himself for not taking a peak at what she was selling earlier. Now they were standing with their backs to him and the view was blocked. “Even if you are right, which is not unlikely”, that buyer, a fire nation noble, had responded, “don't feel any bad at all profiting from that?” His mother had snapped back directly “Oh, don't strike that chord with me. You want to invest. I have an investment to offer. Nothing more, nothing less. This little intermission won't fool any of us, and you know it.” “Fine.” The nobleman than had sighed, as Kuzon had moved his head slightly, desperatly trying to get a glimpse of what had being sold. “A pity they had to kill all of them.” “They just made the best fruit pies. And they were so fun at parties.” None of this had made sense to Kuzon. Not until he finally had seen what the noble man had just bought. An air glider. Like the one Aang had had. And with that, it had hit him. Fruit pie. Air glider. Aang. Killed. Kuzon had not left that closet until finally, after he had missed lunch and dinner in there his father had discovered him and ordered to go to bed. Of course, looking back, it was childish. But In that moment, he truly had thought that as long as he stayed in the closet, the reality would stay out. The reality in which Aang, his best friend Aang, the funny, caring and genius Aang, Aang who he had spent some go the happiest days of his life with, was dead. And his parents were selling air gliders for profit. But of course, the reality was there, and it did not care if Kuzo accepted it or not. He was just 12, and one might say that a kid that age would not understand so much anyway. But Kuzon felt like in fact, he was the only one who did. The only one who saw all the places in which the air nomads were missing. The only one who saw how fearful the merchants from the earth kingdom that used to be good friends of their family now looked. The only one who did no pretend that their firelord was nothing else but a liar and murderer. All of that had made him wanting to yell. Or cry, Or both. But his parents had taught him not to do so very soon very well and so he did neither. But he wrote it down. He started with everything Aang had told him about his people, and what he could remember from the times he had visited. He continued with everything that happened then. When his father got drafted for the war. When they started having to say this weird pledge in school. When the man with the serious face brought the letter that made his mother cry. When they had to leave their big house in the capital and move back to his grandparents into a smaller house in a small village. And how despite all of this, the first thing his mom did in her new, small room was to hang up picture of Sozin so that he could stare down from there as well. He wrote down how after that picture changed from Sozin to Azulon, he applied to university to avoid getting drafted himself. The thought of that made him chuckle now. How smart he had found himself to be. Only too find out that at university they may did not teach him how to kill someone with a sword. But to kill his mind with some words. Of course, he had written that down as well. Just as he wrote down the rumors of the deserted admiral, and the drinking songs the other students were singing about bravery and burned towns. Finally, he got into one last fight with his anthropology professor that got him kicked out of university and close to being arrested. After more or less fleeing town, he cut his hair, hid in a few more closets and stole the passport of a poor lad named Lee. Like that, he escaped his military service scrubbing floors, serving tea and unloading ships on docks. He spent some nights in prisons as well, after fights he had picked at night and after assaulting governmental officials. For jokes about Azulon that he alone had found funny. As the result of trying to convince people that attacking Ba Sing Se would not be right. But no one wanted to be convinced, so once more, all he could do was write down what he observed. The cheering masses and tea sipping towns people just as the polluted rivers and starving fisherman. The children playing war in the streets, already so eager to kill and die for honor and glory just as the factory workers with dark circles under their eyes. He hated to admit it now, but during that time, he had been giving close to giving up more than once. He woke up in the morning not knowing which town he was in, nor how he would pay for dinner there in the evening. He had given up his home, his studies, his name. All because he had not been wanting give up on Aang. He could not betray his friend. When he was not able to fight all of them and stop the war, the least he could do was not to become one of them and instead bear witness for future generations to come. But is just got harder and harder each day, and more and more times he scolded himself for being just stubborn and stupid. His friend was dead. The Dragon of the West was at the walls of Ba Sing Se. And everyone just loved Azulon. What difference would it make if he joined them in? Or if he just stopped trying completely? What saved him was a small clay figure of a sky bison. A woman sold it on the market in a town which's name he did not even know. What he knew, however, was that these kinds of toys were only made by air nomads. And that that woman clearly had no idea how much the piece she was offering here was worth. He bought it without thinking twice. And that was how he finally became a merchant. Trading goods became his explanation for traveling up and down the country, searching for traces and hints, gathering artifacts that one way or another that found their way into the hands of people who had no idea what they were holding. Of course, he had to start small. Very small. But he had learned from the best there were. And he had a goal. “Maybe I am naive to think that one day, the war will be over and the firelord defeated. That one day we can speak freely again and that people will come and learn about the airnomads.”, he wrote down during this time, but when that day comes, they need to have something to learn from. After many years, when Ozai already replaced Azulon, Kuzon settled in a small village, where he lived in a small hut with an even smaller shed in which he kept the artifacts hidden. People quickly started avoiding him as the weird old man who in any other place would have already been arrested but here just served as village idiot. He continued writing, but news travelled slow and when they arrived were usually not reliable at all. Because of that, he nearly did not dare to write the first hopeful line after what seemed to be an eternity. Word has it that the Avatar has returned.
And then after another year, despite all odds and just like that, the war suddenly was over. At least so he heard. And noted that the war was over. And then finally, he put the pen down. Everything suddenly had changed. Yet still, it remained the same.
Kuzon was still alone in his hut and with his books, and still no one seemed to care. He had a testamony to make, but no one wanted to listen. They all just wanted to forget so fast. And he was a disturbance, since they knew that he remembered. There were rumors that the new firelord, Zuko, 16 and like that himself half a child, wanted to change things and own up the crimes that were committed. Some people pretended to support that. Others openly complained. Kuzon just would like to believe it was true. But he just had stopped trusting in firelords a long time ago.
Still, he tried his best to maintain the artifacts in good shape, but he was old. He had no family. No friends. And the thought that they would remain hidden here after his death, abdomend and forgotten, broke what was still left of his heart. But here he was, and here they were. Alone. Suddenly, when Kuzon could already feel his eyes filling with tears, he was interrupted by a voice. A very familiar voice.
“Somebody here?”, it asked. Kuzon was sure that it was only in his mind, brought back by all the memories. Still, while scolding himself for being a stupid old man, he slowly turned around, expecting to see nothing except for the wall of his shed. But his mind had not tricked him. There he stood, smiling that familiar smile that Kuzon never would have thought he would see again. Aang. And Kuzon cried.

for the asks thing, do you have any OCs? sorry I can't really think of anything else to ask
I do! I don't talk about them much outside like. When people ask me if they do exist, but all in all they're usually somewhere in the background of my Danger Days universe even when not mentioned. Currently the roster is:
Dead Don't Testify, SHAUT, Baba Yaga:
Young zone bands started somewhere in the latter years of what I call "the Killjoys Era" (2013-2019) and contemporary with most canon zone bands I usually mention except for Massive/Awesome and Cold Dead Hands. Unlike canon bands, though, they fizzle out quite quickly, all either breaking up or getting ghosted by 2023.
Toybox
Lobby droid band that plays something between techno and industrial metal, made up exclusively from samples of old pre-war cartoons. They play at The Lounge, the Lobby's most infamous bar hidden in the shell of what once was a large clothing department store, and always bring with them really cyber-punk meets scene looking fake instruments.
Tray, the Zone 5 ghost
How they became a ghost? Who knows! It's hard to say when they even died, but they have been stuck between planes since long before even the Phoenix Witch and that, sadly, has its consequences. Tray does not remember who they are, and is slowly fading away because of it, but whenever there's someone starting a fire, they always feel drawn to it. Not many 'joys are quite fond of amnesiac ghosts who can only speak of pre-war literature, though.
Acid Angel
1/3 of a supernatural hunting club and amateur radio host. Xyr station only ever airs at night, because that's when only White Noise (juvie station) used to be on and it all just felt so empty, xe couldn't stand it. This does mean xyr eyeshadow often hides bags that go on for miles, but killjoys are supposed to live on liquid heartattck anyways, right? Knocking out cold for 12 hours for every other day is totally normal. Xe is the only person who's ever reaally bothered to remember Tray, even if only by the character they talk about or act out for xem.
Graveyard Storyteller & Unicorn Skin
The other 2/3s of the supernatural hunting club. Graveyard is the opposite of a vulture, in that instead of finding and collecting the possessions of the dead to deliver to the mailbox, lost possessions of people gone missing end up on his and Unicorn's doorstep. Sometimes he knows exactly where the items need to be delivered to, otherwise it takes a while, testamony being the boxes of random things neatly stacked on a shelf in the storage room. Unicorn is usually the one to do the deliveries as it is a. part of her job as a handyperson/courrier, and b. he knows her brother is stubborn as fuck and has no common sense, meaning he'll try to go outside although it hurts him to do so and might very well needlessly further worsen his eyesight.
The Finch Sisters
A pair of identical twins, called Anne and Maria Finch, who've been 14 ever since 2009-ish iirc and run most of the distribution for band merch and zines in the Zones. They can be found every 2 weeks outside Tommy Chow Mein's shopfront in Zone 3, a.k.a the Paradise Motel, and are really the only ones allowed to loiter like that in the premise of any TCM store. They go missing the night Baterry City falls.
Dead Silence (ex-Neon Ghost)
Exists in the gray area between persona and an OC. The Zones best worst guide ever— they cannot give out directions for shit, but somehow xe still knows the most obscure of locations. They move around a lot, as is the way of tumbleweeds, and they mostly get around by finding stuff for people or doing long and tedious tasks like patching up holes in clothing.
The American Suitehearts
A group of juvie halls who share themes with the characters from Fall Out Boy's American Suitehearts music video, and who end up as an administrative group, almost, to a juvie outpost in post-Killjoys/neo-Killjoys era (2020-2027) Outer Zone 1. This is mostly spearheaded by Donnie and xyr general involvement with Lobby wizards (tech-savvy folk with a foot in the proverbial back door of BLi's archives), though it's not exactly like any of the others were opposed to xyr proposition when xe caught them up to speed on what was going on behind the curtains. The outpost is where The Girl hides for about 6 years, after running away from WKIL and ultimately how she returns in the Zones inhabited by killjoys.
Fate
I guess She also counts? But She is quite literally Fate, much less in the way of 'ones destiny is pre-determined from birth' and more in the way of the entity that runs the cosmic lottery every time someone makes a decision that affects more than just themselves
#these are also mostly confined to like. people groups of people and people-adjacent entities but there's obviously also like. the people#who run white noise. the people who run shiny. the people who run murder mag. the zone 5 fun fair the hall of mirrors and ruby#(they are sentient so they count)#whatever the fuck death is (technically both a space and an entity like the zones are but like. closer to fate on direct involvment with#those it looks over)#uhhh. i think those are all the sentient concepts/locations/groups of people who only live in the abstract in my brain that i don't have a#canonical equivalent for (i.e. missile kid being the zones and mad gear being literally the zones' idea of a rockstar™️ etc)#also all the unnamed Hyperthrust and Mega Moon employees who genuinely deserve a medal for putting up with half the shit they do#ty for the ask!#ocs#the american suitehearts#zone bands#answered#bees-your-stove#long post

for the record mormon church is exactly as boring as all other churches, just with that underlying guilt for even being in the building after everything the LDS church has done. also i learned that they believe god and jesus have separate bodies and they have paintings that feature that fact. god and jesus were telling a 14 year old that none of the religions have it quite correct. holy spirit not pictured for some reason. literally no one tried to recruit me, one woman asked why my friend was explaining the painting to me and i was like oh im her friend im not LDS im just here accompanying her and learning stuff and she was like thats nice of you
like when i went to the service at the cult that one time to make my boyfriends sister happy, it was VERY OBVIOUSLY a cult from the get go, even if you weren’t cult savvy youd smell bullshit after a while. mormon church is just... boringly insidious? it doesnt feel like anything, but then you hear people giving testamonials about how much they rely on and feel supported by the church and ur like my dude.... no wonder no one leaves.

“Goodbye, Old Friend.”
"It's not wise, to anger the Don, old friend." "Why? what is a two credit fence from Rishi gonna do?" "You heard of The Rancor of Rishi?" "She.... I mean... He's not one of her crew... is... is he?" "No. Worse. He's her kid. The Mandalorian's little brother." "Oh Kriff.... please tell me you're joking..."
"Remember she did time on some maximum security prison in the outer rim? Some place you don't speak the name of? He was born there. Grew up there. His playmates were gangsters the republic threw away the keys for, and his schoolyards were prisonyards. The Don was carrying a shiv, a thermal grenade, and a pair of blasters by the time he was five. Heard he had a 'schoolyard' gang in those days too. Heh. Liked to pick fights with the creepy crawlies in the darker parts of the prison. Called it 'The Tomb'. liked to win." "You're telling me this why? I can... I can make a deal right? you can get me a meeting? For old time's sake?" "We was friends. That was before. I run with the Rishi Syndicate these days. Like the Don always says, 'Nothing Personal, it's just good business.' Goodbye.... old friend. I'm gonna miss ya." -- conversation overheard by a member of the Black Sun Gang, and a Rishi Syndicate Hitman, before the former was fried, and Courascant police were called. The Hitman was captured by a jedi strike team, but being a 'Made Man' The above testamony didn't stick, and the bartender who reported it, respectfully redacted his testimony.

Katharina Aragon
⌞ʾ⁎ ⊰ logan browning, cis female, she/her ⊱ i think i just saw KATHARINA ARAGON walk across trafalgar square, singing to SO WHAT ( PINK ). you know, the THIRTY-ONE year old HEIRESS/BUSINESS OWNER? people claim that they are just like CATHERINE OF ARAGON from SIX THE MUSICAL. it must be because they are INTELLIGENT and STUBBORN as well… though i could be wrong. all i know for sure is that they live at BALTIMORE apartment. { appleberry, 27, EST, she/her}⌝
Hello this is appleberry! While I love all the the queens, Catherine A. just managed to particularly worm her way into my heart <3 Unlike the real Catherine, Katharina got out of her divorce a bit better off, including getting to keep her daughter! Her backstory and character are a mixture of real history, and the musical of course.
tw: abuse tw: infidelity
After three sisters and one brother, Katharina is the youngest of the Aragon children. She grew up wealthy but a strained household. Her parents were ladder climbers, never content with their accomplishments, and never fully proud of anything their children did either. Loud arguments were a daily occurance behind closed doors. Bruises hidden under long sleeved shirts and jeans. One by one, as soon as they could, the Aragon children left the nest. For Katherine, her way out came to her in collage, while she was studying business, she met a handsome young man named Arthur at a party hosted by her parents. Though their parents had brought them together in hopes of combining wealth, Katharina and Arthur managaed to fall in geniuine love on their own.
Between her own parents and Arthur's parents, everyone wanted Katharina to produce a grandchild as quickly as possible. Young, in love, and not in any rush, the couple decided to wait on children, figuring they'd try for one in three or four years. Unfortunately, they would never get that chance to make a family. A mere two years into their marriage, the two went on a vacation overseas, where Arthur contracted a virus nasty virus that had him bedridden for weeks before it finally killed him. Despite being told to keep her distance, Katharina had stayed stubbornly by his side to nurse him, keeping a brave face on for him until he drew his last breath. She broke down, moving robotically during the process of setting up the funeral. She didn't expect to be comforted by Arthur's family, afterall, if she'd gotten pregnant when they'd started asking her to she would still have any right to call herself one of them. To her surprise, Henry, Arthur's older brother was there to comfort her.
Katharina and Henry bonded over their grief, with Kath feeling that she owed a good chunk of her recovery to their friendship. As time passed, friendship grew into something else, eventually blossoming into love. There was disapproval and encouragement in equal parts on both sides of the family. In a show of defiance, Henry proposed to Katharina during a big family reunion, making a spectacle of it. Touched, Katharina said 'yes'. This time, when the pressure for grandchildren started up again, Henry was quick to remind Katharina that her hesitance last time had cost her a child with Arthur. Feeling guilty, she agreed to try, the result of which was a beautiful baby girl that they named 'Maryanne'.
As time went on, Katharina proved to be more than just a beautiful wife. She was talented in multiple fields; she knew four languages, she had a master's degree in business, with a minor in social media marketing. For a CEO, Henry was lucky to have someone like her by his side. Together, they built their business up and up and up, until they were so high Henry thought he was the king of the world. With money came power, and Henry realised there were a lot of beautiful women that were attracted to his good looks, money, and power. Once the affairs started, there was no end to them. When Katharina confronted him with evidence, he made weak excuses, leaving his wife to make up reasons to stay together. Her parents didn't take her side, suggesting that she spend more time on her appearance, or that cheating was a natural part of any marriage (for the man of course). Despite her anger, Katharina still loved Henry, and let herself be 'convinced' by his lies and the toxic advice.
When Maryanne was about five or so, Katharina's carefully built wall of lies began to crumble hard and fast. Henry was an adulterer, yes, but he was also a giant asshole beyond that. He spent their money almost as fast as they made it, he liked to get into fights and yell at his employees over minor transgressions. The beginning of the end was when he'd, in the middle of an argument with Katharina, slapped her hard on the face. Deciding she needed space from him RIGHT THEN, she made to grab Mary and walk out. Grabbing her roughly by the arm, he slapped her again. That was the last time he was going to hit her, she decided, and kneed him in the balls.
For the next several months, Katharina worked on setting up a life for herself away from Henry. He seemed determined to make sure she left their marriage with nothing. The kind man that had comforted her in her grief was gone. To really sink the knife in, Henry even tried to convince the courts that Katharina wouldn't be able to care for Maryanne alone. With Maryanne crying that she wanted to be with her mother, and a few testamonies in Katharina's favor, she was given a chance to secure employment and housing for herself suitable for a child, which she did. Honestly? Henry could keep everything else, if it meant keeping Mary far away from him.
Unfortunately for Henry, Katharina took with her her half of their collaborative partnership in the business. She managed to keep some of her old contacts too, those that preffered working with her over Henry. The passing of her grandfather came with a bittersweet surprise in the form of a nice chunk of money. Without hesitation, Katharina moved herself and Mary out of their home city and into the Baltimore Apartments.
sexuality :: Definately thought she was straight for most of her life, is comfortable identifying as bi-sexual now~
likes :: playing the piano, dressing up, being with like-minded individuals, spending time with her daughter
dislikes :: not huge on men right now, she avoids news channels usually and gets information from her friends to then do research on, is actively allergic to green peppers

Part 2
Old half dried blood is seeping lazily down. It’ll probably stop and bw fully dried before it even gets the chance to reach the ground. There’s a unfamiliar feeling in me. Maybe pity? shame? Whatever it is, I push it away. I never find out where I am. But next thing I know im being choked. As a testamony towards my loyalty towards the serie Hannibal, Hannibal is there. He’s looking towards the tv but whatever is on it, he doesn’t seem interested. I cant see the one choking me, they aren’t using their hands. Instead they have me in a chokehold. I’m not afraid. I don’t enjoy it, but I also don’t feel fear. I know im not going to die. It’s like I’m familiar to the feeling, as if it has happened thousand times before. Something that used to cause fear, panic, pain, was now second nature. I knew it was coming and I didn’t fight it, I almost even felt comfort in it. After a while it stops. The powerful woman from before is there. She tells me that the the person who had been chooking me (they aren’t there anymore), had hurt her daughter. I felt betrayed in a odd sense. During all this time, I can feel that a trust had been built inbetween me and the person. I felt as if this meant no one else would get hurt. But now someone had. Soon later, I find myself at the back of the apartment building again. Where I had been early in the beginning of the dream. There’s a girl there, I for some reason know her. Maybe it had been the girl that the woman told me about, the one who got hurt. I know that she had been gone for a little bit and everyone had fallen into panic. ”wheres the girl? is she getting hurt again?”. The fear slowly disappeared when I found her unharmed. But rage soon came as I saw her father with her. Something told me that although he wouldn’t intentionally harm her, he is careless. The type of carelessness that could get her harmed. The type of carelessness that would leave a toddler alone by a pool, or allow an aggressive dog walk without a leash because of a missplaced sense of trust. I picked up the girl, happy to see her alive and okay. And suddenly I heard her father start choking. I knew he was going to die so I did nothing. And he did die. He fell to the ground and that was it.

Encouraging Message
Makaloni wrote: "This is one of my Testimony of what Jesus Christ has done in my life and changed my life. I invited Jesus Christ as my lord and Savior in the year 1980, after I invited Jesus Christ on that night I felt his power and his anointing. It was my first experience, I had in my whole life. My first love towards Christ Jesus. I went together with others on that same night, preaching and sharing the goodness of what Jesus Christ has done to our lives . This was in the town of Nuku’alofa Tonga. I felt the power that night was very unique and very special to me, very real and everlasting. My first bible verses I preached and sharing was Matthew 6:33. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” After a few years later I backslides, I went back to the world by drinking alcohol and doing a lot of sins. I remember that time I was in my youth. I still went to church but still doing bad things. I came across through many trials and tribulations and some accidents that should loss my life but God still love me. God keep his promise when I invited him into my life even though I was backslid-ed . His promise is that he will never leave us nor forsake us even though we fail him many times He has a good plan for each of us who believe in him for his purpose. On the day that I got married I decided in my heart to start a new life like confess & repent my old sinful life. I kept the marriage faithful and so on Enemies kept attacking many times and I nearly backslid-ed but thank God he helped me and loved me unconditionally. If I failed as a leader the rest of my family will affected so I learned to fear God and willing not to do bad things like I done before got marriage. I love my family very much through trials and tribulations I have learned to give my family to God’s hand while We in Australia and I started with a hardest life God taught me through tough life and I have learned a lots and started to love God more. I was a lay preacher when I was in Wesleyan churches and so on. I have preached in public places and everywhere I go I love sharing God’s love God taught me through trials and tribulations to believe him more and not leaning on my own understanding.
After I invited Jesus Christ as my lord and Savior I still failed until I had baptized by the Holy Spirit lately in 2011 before we all went for a mission to Fiji I always convicted by the Holy Spirit when comes to my weakness I m not a Pastor I am a normal person a believer who is willing to learn and obey Gods commandments like others I love sharing and testify of how much Jesus Christ loves for us but not of how much we love and serve Christ. I’m not perfect inside my heart is my only Righteousness I was lucky because i accepted Jesus Christ at the first place once I heard him calling through Pastor invitation He is my helper our everything God promise if anyone accepted him he will come in his righteousness and faithfulness will forgive all our sins.He will never leave us nor forsake us even though we failed him.He slowly working on my whole being . It was a season and a journey and our racing is not about who is running fast but it is all about characters.
This bible verse God gave me through a Pastor after he prayed for me while I was very sick I thought I was going to die back in Sydney I was healed straight away after the prayer I was experienced the power of God during prayer He lay his hand above my head and a strong wind hit my right head and I was sweated lots my whole body I stood up from my bed and went home and everyone was surprised 2Corinthians 12:9 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. Romans 8:28-30 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,[a] for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
I have lots to testify but I strongly encourage you have read this message and not knowing Jesus Christ try today might be your lucky day to invite Jesus Christ into your life. Please Don’t delay,The days we live are bad, but it is never too late. Confess, repent & believe in Jesus Christ and he will give you a new life. Washing away all your sins of yesterday, today and tomorrow and he is our only hope for tomorrow.
Thank you for reading,
God bless"

I think some of it is what approach you take when writing. When I was thirteen or fourteen, which is when I first discovered fandom, I was initially in the Harry Potter fandom. At that point sixteen year olds seemed so grown up to me, and it wasn’t unusual for me to have crushes on fifteen or sixteen year olds. Now I volunteer with teenagers and when I see a sixteen year old, I see a child. So for me, despite knowing that many sixteen year olds have sex, provided they fully consent and their partner is age appropriate there is nothing wrong with that, it squicks me out to imagine it in the detail that writing a teenage romantic relationship would entail.
But then, with the fandoms I am currently interested in, the only teenage character I feel the urge to write about is Peter Parker, and I am more interested in his relationships with the adult characters than the kids.
If I was really engaged in a fandom where the character I was interested in was a teenage girl, I would probably have a different perspective, because I would almost certainly be writing an element of myself as a teenager into her. But as someone is completely cisgendered, when I write male characters I very rarely project aspects of myself onto them or see myself in them the way I do with female characters, so it is always from a third person perspective.
I think part of the issue is that the fandom community, in terms of content creators is mostly female. I saw a statistic somewhere that fanfiction writers are 70% female. When the majority of teenage characters fanfiction is written about are male, there will be fewer writers writing themselves into stories about the teenagers, and so significantly fewer of the adult writers who want to write about that aspect.
Fanfiction is the way I discovered how two men had sex. I couldn’t quite work it out as I had never encountered the idea of inserting anything into the rectum. It is also the first place I discovered what a clitoris is, and that women can also have orgasms and masterbate (I’m not joking, I thought those things only men could experience until I was nearly sixteen, and I went to school in the UK where medically accurate sex Ed including lots of contraceptive methods is mandatory).
Fanfiction can be a really useful and important form of sex education, and a lovely way of seeing positive role models from all sorts of communities. I’m white but I always enjoy stories where a white cisgender protagonist has their race changed in a fanfiction or ones where they are portrayed as trans. I think there are some fantastic trans Peter Parker fanfics out there. These are the first place I learned what a binder was, and the first time I learned that wearing a binder for extended periods of time is really bad for your ribs. I was 24 when I learned that.
I don’t think the intention with rejecting stories about sexually active characters under eighteen was ever about shutting down those role models and depriving kids of them. It was more about protecting minors, but in the zeal the adults in our community have to shield the 12/13/14 year olds from stories where, for example, an adult in their forties has a sexual relationship with a sixteen year old and that is portrayed as a positive thing. We have inadvertently also attempted to shut down those stories which are positive and useful.
Good intentions can have unintended consequences and I am grateful to OP for their testamony, ashamed that western culture can create such environments that other positive role models are inaccessible, and very thankful that they are willing to come forward, even understanding the backlash may be difficult.
As a community we are not that good at nuanced approaches, probably because there are so many of us. But I think the most positive social change (and this would be a social change in a manner of speaking) comes from listening to the people our actions affects most. OP and the kids like themselves that they are advocating for is one of those people. Let’s listen.
also you know what
you know what really fucking pisses me off about the whole “GASP ADULTS WRITING ABOUT KIDS” discourse
you know what really fucking pisses me off?
hi. i grew up in the bible belt of the midwest. as a young queer slowly coming to terms with being Super Not Straight, I grew up a town where there was one grocery store and eleven churches. on nice sunny days, before real summer heat set in, the chances of well-dressed smiling proselytizing boys with free copies of their holy books showing up at your door approached 100 percent. in my high school, there were to my knowledge about four queer kids, myself included in that number, and one of them was terrified to come out or even be seen with other boys because he grew up in the kind of household where you would absofuckinglutely be thrown out for being gay.
i did not have a queer childhood. this was just as the proliferation of the internet was starting to become a thing, but your best bet to get on a computer would be to go to the local library. the librarian, btw, was a devout christian and was part of the baptist church across the street. so the idea of using free resources to reach out or research what the fuck it meant to be queer was literally not an option.
i did not get queer literature. i did not get queer media. i subsisted on fandom, because it was the only type of content i knew that talked about being queer, that was positive about it, and was often created by adults who would point you to resources to help. this was before scarleteen and teen vogue and other sites.
fandom was my queer community, because i had zero alternatives. society gave me no alternatives.
and now I am looking at all these fearmongering puritanical moralizing shitheels go on and on about how any adult who writes about younger people is a predatory pedo
I did not get a fucking queer childhood. And if I want to sit down and write or read a story about queer teens who get a better shot, who do find love and feel comfortable experimenting with their sexuality instead of treating it like a potential death sentence,
you do not get to sit there and tell me what a fucking terrible human I am. I was a fucking kid too, and these are my stories too. they, in fact, are the stories fucking owed to me by a world that taught me to be afraid. and that part of my history as a human did not get erased when i passed some arbitrary milestone of time.
Society already stole the upbringing I should have had and locked me in a fucking closet until i was in my mid 20s, and you puritanical myopic shits have the fucking audacity to say me reaching back to try and remember something better makes me a pedophile, you dogwhistling dumbfucks.
you are literally on the same side as the people who made my best friend afraid his dad would beat him to death for coming out. that is where you stand. you use the same tactics and the same scripts. “oh if you are interested in these things…… that means you’re Wrong and will probably go to Hell :( why do you want to be such a bad person when you can be Straight And Pure?”
fuck off

A Prayer Against Depression Anxiety and Panic Attacks ( the spirit heaviness )
Father In Jesus Name Lord Thank You For Dying On The Cross For Me. Please Forgive Me of My Sins.
I Forgive Every One Who Has Hurt Me and Have Done Me Wrong.
Isaiah 61:1 States that "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
I Pray For The Spirit of The Lord God To Rise Up Inside of Me. Lord Please Bind Up My Broken Heart. Give Me Liberty and Set Me Free.
Isaiah 61:2 Says "To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;" God, Let This Be The Year of Your Revenge Against the enemy And Comfort Me and All Who Mourn.
Isaiah 61:3 "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."
God Give Me Your Spirit of Beauty And Replace The Ashes Of My Broken Heart. Take Away The Mourning And Give Me Your Spirit Of The Oil Of Joy. Lord, Remove the spirit of heaviness And Give Me Your Spirit Of The Garment Of Praise. Make Me A Tree Of Righteousness That Is Planted By You So That You May Be Glorified.
Isaiah 61:4 Says "And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations."
God, Make Me A Brand New Person. Repair Me. Fix Me. Disolve And Break Every Generational Curse That Plagues Me And My Family.
In Jesus Name.
Isaiah 61:5 States "And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers."
Lord I Pray That You Make My Enemies Subject To Me. Confuse, Divide, And Destroy Them. Send Them All Far Beneath My Feet Permanently.
I Give You All Of The Honor, Praise And Glory Forever. Amen

The hearing's over, but people still aren't buying Kavanaugh's discredited argument
Brett Kavanaugh's seemingly tenuous relationship with the truth is still haunting those who watched him testify on Thursday.
At times, the prospective Supreme Court justice abandoned composure to shed tears and scream, but at his most jarring he straight-up refused to answer questions directly, was unwilling to request an FBI investigation, and, as further research revealed, apparently lied under oath.
In the days since the hearing, people have replayed his testimony in their minds and on their screens. They've turned Kavanaugh's words around over and over again to really let them simmer. And it seems the more thought that's given to his responses, the more discussions about his dishonesty rage on social media.
SEE ALSO: No matter what happens now, history's judgment on Kavanaugh is already clear
One of the major, most general causes of concern about Kavanaugh's testimony is the simple fact that a federal judge, who quite literally navigates the law for a living, refused to answer so many key questions.
call your senators and tell them to vote no for Kavanaugh - the future of our country deserves more than a privileged white boy who’s Spent his whole life over-drinking and can’t answer a simple question without acting more immature about it than a 4 year old.
— Emma González (@Emma4Change) September 28, 2018
Following the hearing and testimonies of both Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford — who accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault in an incident that occurred more than 30 years ago, when the two were in high school — Vox created a visually striking chart to compare the times Ford and Kavanaugh each answered or dodged a question.
Ford's portion is covered in blue, which signifies she did her best to answer each question presented to her in her testimony, while Kavanaugh's chart is sprinkled with pink lines, a representation of the numerous times he dodged questions.
Both Ford and Kavanaugh fielded questions from lawmakers and prosecutor Rachel Mitchell. But only Ford made an effort to actually answer every question. https://t.co/2XqtspgekR #KavanaughConfirmation pic.twitter.com/jhUVqpu1NJ
— Vox (@voxdotcom) September 28, 2018
When Kavanaugh did make an effort to answer basic questions, like those pertaining to his controversial senior yearbook writeup and personal calendar, it wasn't satisfactory. Again and again he wholeheartedly failed to provide accurate explanations and definitions for terms like "Devil’s Triangle," "boof," "ralph," and more — terms that any person with access to the internet could look up for themselves and fact check. And you'd better believe they did.
During the Whitehouse questions about the yearbook, he's literally almost sneering with contempt while launching into a series of wildly implausible explanations on ralphing, devil's triangle, Renate Dolphin, "boofed", etc.https://t.co/lAowwKhkcz https://t.co/Hj6VmMbufS
— Nate Silver (@NateSilver538) September 29, 2018
Keep going back this morning to Kavanaugh lying to the committee about “Ralphing” and other yearbook items. With a straight face. Spicy food? Come on.
— Nick Confessore (@nickconfessore) September 28, 2018
I need help understanding something. Why would Kavanaugh lie about such inconsequential things as the definition of ralphing, booting, devil’s triangle- things so easily disproved. Why risk it?
— Jill (@jhgurf) September 29, 2018
Kavanaugh also stated that 18-year-olds could legally drink in Maryland in 1982, which was true if you turned 18 before July 1. However, a simple search reveals Kavanaugh didn't turn 18 until Feb. 12, 1983 which means he wasn't legally allowed to drink until age 21 in Maryland. C'mon, dude.
Legal drinking age in Maryland changed to 21 when Brett Kavanaugh was 17 years old: pic.twitter.com/0MDUGrZ9CX
— Alice Crites (@alice_crites) September 25, 2018
And then, of course, beyond questions surrounding whether it was legal for him to drink at all, there's his deep, deep love of beer itself.
Kavanaugh sounded like a broken record throughout his testimony, passionately declaring his love for beer whenever the opportunity presented itself. Yet, at the same time, the man giving beer such rave reviews also wanted the world to believe the following:
He never drank on weekdays, despite his beloved teenage calendar — an argued symbol of absolute truth — implying otherwise.
He never drank in excess to the point of blacking out, despite saying "sometimes I had too many beers," in his opening statement; embarrassingly refusing to answer a question about drinking in excess; and that questionable section from his pal Mark Judge’s memoir, Wasted: Tales of a GenX Drunk, that describes a character Bart O’Kavanaugh "vomiting on someone’s car during Beach Week and then passing out."
He has a "weak stomach with beer or with spicy food or anything."
With all the conflicting beer-related information presented that day, it's no wonder people are still left with some serious questions and concerns. Some are even gathering evidence from trustworthy sources to create Twitter threads that prove Kavanaugh was far more than a light drinker in the past.
For a guy who has never been blackout drunk in his life, man he loves his beer and drinking stories.
— Bryan Wood (@itsWoodrow) September 27, 2018
Kavanaugh says being president of the Ralph Club is cause he had a weak stomach — why he likes ketchup on spaghetti — Whitehouse says: so the vomiting had to do with alcohol? K refuses to answer reciting his sports and academic record.
— Philip Gourevitch (@PGourevitch) September 27, 2018
For those of you who haven't listened to Kavanaugh's testamony I'm going to sum it up: "Man I love beer. I drink it all the time. Never got black out drunk though. I keep a diary of all of my movements all the time and it says I wasn't there, don't get the FBI involved. Bye."
— Danny Muir (@DannyDocileASMR) September 28, 2018
Lastly, because I’m tired...Kavanaugh was asked by Corey Booker if he: A) drank beer on the weekdays B) If skis meant brewskis What stands out is that Kavanaugh cause this “rare” to drink on the weekday but he literally had it scheduled... pic.twitter.com/vvdVqpnuvT
— Kava-hell-f*ck-naugh (@julian_moffit) September 28, 2018
One of the most widely called out points Kavanaugh used to strengthen his own argument was that the possible witnesses Ford mentioned in her testimony — including Mark Judge, Patrick "P.J." Smyth, Leland Ingraham Keyser, and another unnamed boy — all denied the sexual assault ever took place.
Kavanaugh leaned on the argument several times on Thursday, prompting many — including Senator Richard Blumenthal — to note that the claim was completely inaccurate. Blumenthal even took the time to publicly state that a person having "no recollection" of the event or not knowing the answer to a question is not the same as denying the event took place.
Blumenthal, like Booker, is pointing out that Kavanaugh yesterday had said that four witnesses had denied Dr. Ford's account, where what they actually have said is that they do not remember / do not know.
— Nicky Woolf (@NickyWoolf) September 28, 2018
On Friday, after pleas from Democratic senators and support from outside parties like the American Bar Association and Dean of Yale Law School, Kavanaugh's Senate confirmation vote was delayed to accommodate a requested week-long FBI investigation.
President Trump granted a short investigation that will remain limited in scope, and while it's unclear exactly how the FBI will approach Ford's accusations or examine the claims of other Kavanaugh accusers Julie Swetnick and Deborah Ramirez, here's hoping the country gains some additional sense of clarity on Ford's accusations and Kavanaugh's high school years beyond the vague, often confusing statements he made to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
