WILD CARD

The Protagonist is officially 17 years old and legally considered a minor, placing them as an older teen; however, each individual player's own age must be taken into account, as well as their interpretation of the game's canon. A 12-year-old player can and should focus on characters their own age, and a 50-year-old may not want to roleplay as a high schooler. You decide who to ship with the Protagonist.

OLDER OR AGELESS ADULT: 65+

These people have been around for a long time--or forever! While they don't all act their age, they're clearly quite old and identify as such. I, personally, prefer to ship them with each other or mature adults, because I think they'd get along better with people who have similar intellects and experience levels.

MATURE ADULT: 40-64

Past the anxieties of youth, these characters are secure in their social roles and knowledge of themselves. Many are in positions of authority or caregivers to other characters, adding to their mature appeal.

YOUNG ADULT: 20-39

While they're no longer minors, young adults are still plagued with the insecurities of youth, separating them from mature adults. If I don't actually know a young-looking character's age, the decision between adult and teen is based on factors like career, emotional maturity, and whether they actually learn anything at school, if they even bother to attend.

OLDER TEEN: 16-19

Older teens are free from both the restrictions of childhood and the demands of adult life, making this a very popular demographic for escapist media. Characters at this tier are explicitly defined in-game as minors or (high school) students, if they're not given specific ages.

YOUNGER TEEN: 13-15

Young teens are barely older than children and they certainly act like it. These kids have a stated age, mature voice actor, and/or blatantly adolescent hormonal surges, separating them from younger characters.

ACTUAL CHILD: 12 and under

Housamo is rated 12+, so there are a few children here. Regardless of their chronological age or memories, all of these little guys have the psychological maturity of normal children and depend on older characters as protectors and caregivers.

ADULT CHILD: 18+

Whether they've just reincarnated, aren't allowed to age, or embody divine youthfulness, these baby-faced brats are not actually children. They don't act like real kids, they don't get along with real kids, and some of them even refer to themselves and each other as adults. This unusual tier is distinct from both children and adults, and they can only be shipped with each other.

UNKNOWN

I don't know all the characters, especially not the most recent. You'd think it would be obvious from looking at them, but Reprobus is a teenager and Itzamna is an old man despite both of them looking like normal adults, so I don't want to make assumptions. Plus, if I don't know their age, I certainly don't know their romantic interests, so I don't feel comfortable shipping them regardless.

I'm not 100% sure of everyone's ages, so feel free to correct me if you see someone out of place.

Hi! Sorry for bothering you. But I'm writing my own fanfiction of housamo, the whole game in fact, but I'm having complications on understanding the reasons why most of the exiles were banished according to their worlds rules... I'm not very smart and wiki information is incomplete or too difficult to get... could you please help me by sharing a simple explanation....?

No bother. I don't get some of the lore stuff in housamo either, so don't feel dumb about it.

So the general reason they were exiled is because the rebelled against the worlds' system in some way and had to be removed to protect their systems. Not all of the exiles' rules and backstories have been revealed yet, so I'm not sure about all of them currently.

-Takamagahara's system tosses away anything undesirable and works with Amaterasu exposing everyone's sins with her light and reflecting their shame back at them to keep them in line. Susanoo felt zero shame and therefore couldn't be controlled that way, so he was eventually sent away due to his behavior.

-The World of the Old Ones exists within Azathoth's dream, so invading one's dream without consent is considered very taboo and is forbidden. Cthulhu's ability allowed him to invade other's dreams whenever, which of course violated that big rule.

-Hourai's system runs on the belief of letting nature run it's course and not interfering, but Nüwa would constantly interfere by causing and trying to prevent wars and disasters.

-The Oceanic Realm's system is the belief that in the end everything and everyone will sink to the bottom of the ocean for eternity. From what little we learned from Gurangatch, the Rainbow Serpent would rise from the depths again and again, so while everything else would sink forever, they wouldn't.

-Great Spirit's system is the belief in unity with everyone being one with Wakan Tanka. Heyoka's eccentric behavior caused him to become a social pariah and an outcast, separating him from Wakan Tanka and the rest of Great Spirit, so he was exiled.

-Olympus' system relies heavily on everyone's connection to the world representative, Zeus, most importantly the familial and sexual bonds. Eurynome's rule allowed her to rend bloodlines and anything that stemmed from said bloodline such as curses, so the Olympians would've been screwed with most of them, especially the key players, being related to Zeus in some way. Also, Eurynome's relationship with Zeus isn't known yet, so there could've been more there. Another thought I've seen is that Eurynome might've rejected Zeus, which is unheard of with the way his power works, on top of the bloodline thing.

-Varuna-Kamadeva and Asura were essentially exiled for the opposite reasons. Shangri La's system is the belief that one should let go of all of their attachments to achieve enlightenment. A situation happened where one of Smokey God's other friends did something to Asura's daughter and he became enraged and attacked them. Unable to let go of his anger and wanting to continue fighting, he was exiled. Either Asura himself or a part of himself that he cut off went to Deva Loka and became known as Varuna.

I can't remember the exact way Deva Loka functions, but Varuna was the omnipotent world representative who would gift parts of his power to others. He would continue doing this until he was left with nothing but love and desire and became known as Varuna-Kamadeva. That's when the others decided that he wasn't fit to be world representative anymore and wanted him to relinquish that role to Shiva by making him fall for Parvati. And obviously Shiva blasted him once Varuna shot him with an arrow, exiling him. So since he became unworthy of the role of world representative once he lost his attachments, I guess the belief focuses on holding onto one's attachments.

-Yggdrasil holds the belief that the world will eventually experience Ragnarok and the era of gods will end, making way for the era of humanity. This of course never happened since Loki confined Yggdrasil within a wall that causes the world to loop post Ragnarok the same way Tokyo's wall functions. It's a world of those destined to fall, but Freyr couldn't be defeated as long as he had the power to rend through defeat, so he had to go. There's also just the fact that Freyr seemed to be opposed to meaningless sacrifice like what the gods intended to do for humanity.

-Kitezh's system is belief of diffusion, so pretty much just combining and spreading into other sources to achieve power. Maybe it's more parasitic or infectious in nature. Like if they were to be attacked by invaders, Perun could mix himself into their memories to mess with and dominate them for example. Perun lived heavily by this belief, but the ultimate goal of diffusion is complete assimilation, to be combined everyone, so you're no longer identifiable to one location. He attempted to do this by removing all documented traces of himself, but the problem was Veles existed. Veles' rules, his words, allowed him to separate and isolate things, so he was potentially able to untangle everything achieved through diffusion. Ofc Perun wasn't the one who wanted him to go, but he still violated the belief of the world.

Those are the ones I could think of rn, some of them haven't been revealed clearly or I'm just blanking rn.

[I love humans.] I muttered out loud, back when I was still royal and living above them.

[Hastur] "You're presenting yourself as a human before my very eyes, and I find myself dancing around you." "As time continues to revolve, the hand counting the hours is moving alongside the center of the cosmos itself." "Aah, how precious you are. I find myself guided and falling from how lovely you are." "I am like the prince in that evening ball party, falling in love for the first time. You have caught the attention of a higher being unto you." "I've taken care of lesser creatures like humans before, hence why I am careful with my surroundings. But a partner fitting for me is one that should not break so easily." "This looming consequence has altered my behavior, but if you still wished for me, then call out for this crowned prince and I will come to you."

A tentacle comes to touch your hand, it's feeling hotter against your own. There is passion that comes with it, and from within the depths of your stomach, there is heat building inside.

Whatever this fever could be called that Hastur was experiencing could no longer be kept in it's container, but this love he harbors is forbidden, for if he were to let his guard down, this person will disintegrate into nothing.

Their faces then inches ever closer. Hastur could only guess what's about to happen next, by the time he realizes it, their faces has then melted together as one.

Hastur was in bliss, the two of them were now firmly joined together, and at last, he has finally found his destined partner.

[Hastur] "… No. Wait. There's something peculiar about this whole thing. This human partner I have is but a weakling to begin with, why would she want to dance with me?" "Once I touch you, you will be engulfed completely by this illness, it's too infectious, and you'll soon die from it. And yet, how come you're still able to remain calm before me even now?"

He cocks his head from behind his companion, there he sees it, his old enemy staring back at him.

Back when the santa departure mission was still ongoing, there was still trouble afoot.

It was christmas in snowland and there was an event happening in the castle, the higher being, Hastur, was currently the appointed lord of this said castle.

Deep inside was a large impregnable maze, by entering and getting out of it will result in being rewarded by the prince. The reward that is to acquaintance yourself with the prince personally.

[Hastur] "Hah, you sure are fast getting here, don't you think~~!! Why'd you bother to arrive here alone in the first place!?"

["I just kinda followed the road I took."] ["It was on purpose, I wanted you to myself so would you fulfill my wish now?"] ["I came for your love, Hastur--!"]

[Hastur] "Y-you.. You really are a horrible person for acting this adorable in front of me, only you would vomit out such blasphemous takes!" "…"

Hastur takes a moment to seriously assess the human being before him… Just as he'd suspect, the one he likes the most is right here in front of him.

He considers the thought, but he can't allow himself to be coerced by it, for they are like daggers pointing at him. His old nemesis is right here before him, pledging and giving himself openly.

One such example was when this old friend of his attempted to cook food for him and used something incredibly obscene that he himself couldn't stand for, even asking him the following: ["What do you think? I used a human child for it."] and no doubt the same thing will happen again with this person.

Furthermore, he could not forgive him for using this avatar as his outward appearance, being so cute and innocent that he cannot resist the urge to protect this said person. His brain cannot help but love and lust after her, at his wits end, all it takes is one encouragement and all hell will break loose.

-- Nevertheless, she was still ■■■■■■■. This was a huge blow for him, and just thinking about it drives him crazy.

No matter how many times he thinks about it, his mind cannot comprehend the insanity that's threatening to push the pillar that keeps himself composed about it. The need to maintain and keep himself at the proper line.

To be in love and to have ■■■ is something he desires very much. But the reality is harsher than it is, because in his eyes, there is always something warning him not to do it.

["So, about my reward..?"] ["When are you going to give me my reward~?"] ["You will fulfill your promise, right?"]

[Hastur] "… Tch, it can't be helped. Here, I'll give it to you, you may take it and go."

No different from how he hands candy to the children, Hastur does what was instructed from him and turns his back away from Ito.

["You know I'm not a kid, right?"] ["You're just treating me the same way as these kids then?"] ["Huh? This is the reward…?"]

[Hastur] "Hmph, what's with that look on your face? Were you expecting something else from me?" "Don't tell me, are you seriously--"

Hastur's existing feelings begun to fester. There are rooms littered throughout this castle and a tentacle then begins to materialize out of nowhere.

Hastur's entire identity was of a creature that embodies literal misfortune unto others. Just one touch will destroy anyone and their life will be no more.

[Hastur] "So you came here because you're expecting we'd do something. My enemy, for you to be acting this shameless in front of me, do you really wish for us to return back as companions again?"

Hastur manipulates a tentacle and glides it over Ito's skin.

[Hastur] "I am the king in yellow, and here you are opening your heart and wanting to be marked, just for a chance to do something with me. Are you prepared to pledge servitude? I am quite the terrifying--"

["No, no, that's not it!"] ["I do like it slippery!"] ["Huh? My body's getting hotter…"]

[Hastur] "Don't suddenly raise your voice like that! Do you really need to tell the whole world that you have evidence for what we're about to do!?" "Fwuahahah, you're so shameless. Right now, you'll be regretting this decision, and slowly-- Gwah!?"

Hastur's wave of tentacles instantly falls down and off of Ito--

[Jack O' Lantern] "Ah, is that what the goal was for? Let's go get a closer look~!"

[Hastur] "Why am I always getting interrupted at the best moments by these damn kids-- Gah!?"

[Hastur] "…… A dream."

Hastur quickly jumps back onto his feet and the reality then sets down to remind him that it was all but a dream. Even now, he could feel in his tentacle the sensation of Ito's body remaining in it still.

[Hastur] "Ngh, Ito and I promised that we'll go together to the amusement park after school. And yet how could I fall for a dream of all things…!" "Nevertheless, I will continue to pursue this dream and make it into a reality. That damn sleepyhead, this time I won't forgive her for showing up late this time around!"

However, by the time the day has reached the afternoon, he is already looking forward to it and calls out to her informally. Hastur was dead set on arriving at the appointed time to the amusement park.

["Sorry to keep you waiting, Hastur--"] ["Today's just going to be the two of us."] ["Are you looking forward to it?"]

[Hastur] "It's nothing, I wasn't waiting that long anyway. Did you think you went at the wrong time?" "After I went through all that trouble to get passes for us to get into this amusement park. It's only right that I be practical about these kind of things, after all."

Per usual, the words Hastur emits was quite the opposite of what he actually wanted to say and one his tentacle unconsciously linger at Ito's waist.

["Hastur, have you begun to grow bolder now?"] ["To be doing this kind of thing out in the open is very embarrassing."] [(Lewdly hold Hastur's tentacle.)]

[Hastur] "KYAAH!? How dare you, I never said you could do whatever you want with it, did I!?" "I am still a dangerous biohazard of a creature, how many times must I tell you this!? To do that kind of thing will only decompose you and die, and I will have no way of stopping it." "This morning I had a strange dream regarding you, could it be because I wanted attention from you that badly? I need my mind to focus on something else."

["Huh?? Hastur, are you…?"] ["I'm also having dreams about you too, Hastur."] ["The fact we're both having dreams of each other just means it's mutual love!"]

[Hastur] "The hell, so you and I were both dreaming of each other…? I see. So it's wasn't just a strange thing for me to do."

Hastur mutters to himself all abashed and he immediately follows it up by staring straight into your eyes for any signs of something else that you may have remembered.

[Hastur] "Wait…? Then, does that mean you also had a dream where we were in the snow land castle--" "I knew it, it's something like that, huh? Well, Since we're both seeing the same dream, then I cannot blame you for it!" "The insides of your body must've remembered it, via telepathy that I managed to have influenced you, am I wrong?" "Then take responsibility for this! It's all because of you that I had such an awful dream!"

["How can I possibly know about that, it's just a mere coincidence!"] ["No way, ain't that YOUR dream, Hastur?"] [(Show him just how sad you are.)]

[Hastur] "D-don't look at me with such a sad look on your face. It's my fault for saying all of that without realizing I'm going too far with it… Kinda." "Well, let's just end our conversation at that. I did invite you to come to the amusement park after school." "Because today, I decided that you'll be accompanying me from now on, so don't misunderstand that there were other reasons for me doing so, alright!?"

["Forever?"] ["Please escort me around, prince."] ["Let's hold hands then."]

He could be seen trembling upon hearing Ito's proposition, nervously, he offers the base of his tentacle and entwines it with her hand.

[Hastur] "Let us go, Ito. For starters, how about we go and conquer one of these attractions."

The two went to one popular attraction in snowland and decided that they will tour the insides of the castle and ride a vehicle to not trouble their legs any longer.

Despite the normal day, there was only one thing that he was eyeballing but there was a long line for it.

[Hastur] "To think we'd still have to line up for this long at this amusement park, it's quite different from how I picture my dream to be like." "I could fly us all the way to the front row."

["It's destined to be like this in the amusement park~"] ["This is also part of the pleasures in life."] ["We could spend the time just talking to each other if you want."]

They have decided to spend XX hours at this horizontal line just wasting their time.

[Hastur] "What should we even talk about, there's nothing that interesting happening in my life currently though?" "With the exception of meeting you, of course. How about I tell you about my work as a biohazard disaster preventer?" "Recently, I published a work regarding an established study that I've been auditing. It's about conducting experiments in a confined room and shoving a box inside to see how the atmospheric pressure can be controlled." "I'll leave the rest of it to your imagination.. Right now, the head of our establishment has been glued to the television and is too busy watching Snegurochka's show for us to even get a proper conversation with him about it." "If you were to ever visit.. Right, Yuma, Alps and the others would be delighted to see you."

["I'll certainly visit you guys!"] ["You're trying so hard to start a conversation with me, that's so cute~"] ["I'm so jealous that you guys are so close."]

[Hastur] "Hmph, let me remind you that it's just the two of us in the amusement park. I find it troublesome if you keep asking about others or looking elsewhere when I'm here with you." "To begin with, most of them wanted to go with me here for their own reasons, but I don't suspect them of doing something else behind my back." "Well? I believe it's your turn to speak now. I don't see why I don't have any time to spare for you, go on ahead and tell me what you wish to say."

And so they continued to converse with one another out of their own free will.

Hastur listened to whatever she wanted to tell him, no matter how simple Ito's stories may be.

["This is somewhat surprising but there's something that I've been interested in."] ["I'm so happy we get to talk a lot like this."] ["Would really like me to talk about myself?"]

[Hastur] "Ngh, is that so..? To think your tastes have changed since entering tokyo-- Cough cough.. You must've gone quite the effort in getting that form you have now, and yet it still baffles me to see you now." "Originally, I have always been alone and I hated it, but at the same time, I have always been fascinated to what's hidden in people's heart." "One time, I used to own a library that is stacked by what my followers give me, they were people who I have enslaved by my tales and now they were there to merely collect my belongings." "I also go by another alias because of it: [The wicked crowned prince.], I was fully aware that the books I had were made by the humans there and I have taken it from them."

["You were keeping a library that big!?"] ["I never expected Hastur to be such an intellectual….?"] ["This is the first time you ever told me about this…"]

[Hastur] "What? Is it that surprising for me to do so? I do recall you also had a similar library that you keep back then." "This is the most I've conversed in my life, back in my domain I was condemned to my loneliness for eternity there. Reading books was the only thing that comforted me, there was little else that existed there that I could talk to." "… I suppose you could say that back then I might've had vague memories of you flickering your tail at something, do you not remember that?" "Good enough, because today you're facing me and I must announce to you that someday I'll rule over the star clusters and become a powerful being again." "For I was a prince, no, crowned prince to be exact. I am one of the great old beings, the one who was meant to rule and adapt to anything." "In other words, you should be proud that I have become what I am. It's akin to like that cinderella story that human's would say, yes?"

You can tell right away that he is quite knowledgeable in regards to human culture and finds it extremely appealing, so much so that there is a satisfied smile plastered on Hastur's face.

[Hastur] "You too, right now, you are posing as a human student in that body. I don't believe you acknowledge the appeal of what it means to do that and then decide to leave everything else behind when you're always half asleep to commit to anything." "Look, do you even know of the name of that classmate that you go there with? … It'd be good for you to take examples from the humans there around you." "Humans may have limited knowledge or power compared to us but that is because they fear what's still unknown to them and refuses to cross over that barrier." "However, the consequence of a human daring to cross this wedge means they wouldn't be able to bear the strain of the abyss pressing onto them. Their minds is what'll eventually end them entirely…" "Though, in your case, Ito, I'd say your heart is still intact at least."

["Then, next time, perhaps Hastur could teach me all about it.] ["In exchange, how about this human teach you something else."] ["I don't really care either way, I'm all good. I know that I'm a human being."]

[Hastur] "You're going to be instructing me of all things? Kuhahahah! Very well, you best be studying hard because I'll be reading you like a book."

They then spent their time talking their ears off, exchanging and waiting for the others turn to speak till they were eventually lead inside the castle.

[Hastur] "Kukuh, come, I welcome you personally to the castle, partner. This great Hastur will be your escort."

With pleasant words said, Hastur's tentacle wraps around Ito's body to lead her around.

It only took a few moments to circle around inside the attraction of this amusement park till they decided to entered a cafe for a break from shopping.

[Hastur] "It is as I'd expect it to be, the amusement is not so bad. I feel the speed of the gravitational pull affecting you and I find it rather amusing." "I did wish that we could use all this free time together without any hindrances but of course there'd be a reason for you to take a break eventually, I did want to go ride that coaster or some of those vehicles they have available."

Hastur crunches on a turkey leg he has and the sound of it's crispness being munched is audible for your ear alone to hear. As he continues indulging himself in it, you on the other hand go on to observe your overall surroundings.

[Hastur] "Still… We've done the departure mission so many times in this amusement park now that if I were to dress up as a santa here, I'll unfortunately stick out too much."

["We could go in matching clothes together."] ["You standing out is fine though."] ["You'll eventually get to it."]

[Hastur] "You may not believe something like this would come out of my own mouth but I feel inferior when I compare myself to the humans here, do you not feel the same way as I do towards them…?" "Hmph, well, there will be judgmental people no matter where you go, it's not good for anyone to be constantly down about these kind of things and it'd be preferable that they don't take this kind of things to heart, let yourself be happy, I say!"

["I feel very embarrassed about it."] ["I can see your tentacles are moving on their own.."] ["Here you are still being so happy~"]

[Hastur] "S-shut it! I was just joking around! I merely wore these clothes because it fitted the occassion, that's all! There's no other meaning behind it!"

As Ito was having fun, it was already becoming very late and so decided to grab a drink and carried a tray of food to snack on later.

[Hastur] "You seem to be having a lot of fun, there is this nice look on your face there… I'll be sending you off later!"

["It can't be helped.."] ["I'll eat some of there later at home."] [(Hand out a takoyaki to him.)]

[Hastur] "We've gone through the entire menu already and this what you chose, I can't help but be suspicious of your tastes…"

Hastur submits to your wishes and opens wide, eyes shut tightly as he blushes.

[Hastur] "… It's quite good. I do often say that you're a human now but when I look at this takoyaki, I am reminded of what you actually look like."

By closer inspection, the two of are acting like an actual couple but the atmosphere around them begs to differ as time eventually comes to a close--

Just at the exact time they exited, the amusement park itself was coming to a close, the lights to the attraction beginning to shut off one by one.

[Hastur] "The time to go will arrive by the end of it but how about we go to one last attraction before then?"

Hastur calls for a public vehicle and the two head to their destined location for one last time.

[Hastur] "Aptha-5, to be precise. All sorts of things revolve around it, as you'd expect, one of them is time itself and is confined to it."

["It's fine, I'll just come with you again."] ["Next time, call me to have fun with you again."] ["I had a lot of fun."]

[Hastur] "… I see. We can still do plenty of things together next time, no matter how many times it'd be. There's no need for me to be so reserved anymore once I ask you out again." "I had fun, Ito. It is unusual for me to appreciate the littlest things that would occur." "Me coming to tokyo was one of the most unexpected things to have happened to me, everything flooded me all at once and it felt so refreshing. This one, however, is one of the special ones yet." "This time, I'd like to return the favor. The reason as to why I chose this ferris wheel just around closing time was that no one would bother us even if we rocked it around, but we all need to return to reality eventually.

["Yeah, this was the best."] ["You're being so melancholic~"] ["Geez, just say you want to go out with me already!"]

[Hastur] "Are you still half asleep there? Don't be ridiculous, it's time to wake up. Just who do you think you're talking to?" "I am the great king in yellow, Hastur! I am not the type to lend out empty words, I went out my way for us to go together in this amusement park or did you forget?" "I am fully aware there is barely any time appropriate enough to say it. But it's too late for you, for this Hastur, the former ruler of a certain domain in space has already set his eyes on you."

Almost like a dream, Hastur continues to coerce himself to speak more about his feelings out loud. At this very moment, the usual reserved Hastur you knew, the one who keeps his distance to humans, is no more.

[Hastur] "Right now, concerning you specifically-- I have considered it. That you should submit and acknowledge that you are of lower ranking than me!"

The view of this ferris wheel just stops at the very summit of it. At that moment, anyone could almost see just what's outside of tokyo, but only the two of you are the true witnesses of it.

[Hastur] "Well, Ito? This former ruler, Hastur, commands you to do so."

["The way you say it just sounds like you want to control me."] ["Which one of us do you think will be on top?"] ["Yes, my king."]

Hastur lends his hand out to you and countless of other hands reaches for your own, all who's gender are unknown at this point, demonstrating their authority and awaiting for Ito's eventual surrender.

[(Turn to Hastur's attendant.)] [(Go and kiss Hastur.)] [(Let Hastur kiss you.)]

So I’ve been looking though my old draft posts for my Housamo AUs and I forgot I made endings for so of them and I realized that most of the ending are like Bad ending that just depressing to read like this one from long ago that involved The Siblings’ War AU. Which I’m gonna title it as…

“God’s Isolation” 

Basically MC1 win the war and became a god. He then proceeded to reshape the world and undo any damages basically hitting the reset button but this time the wall was gone and every human and transient is spread out across the world.

Now here the sad part, as MC1 become a god he force himself into isolation for eternity and erase all memories of his existence from everyone forcing himself to only watch from above as his siblings, family and friends form bonds with each other and become a family without him as he sat on a throne all alone and even in death no one will be able to reach or remember him because he kept all memories of past loops to himself as a reminder of what he done to win the game and how he must atone for the many sins he committed against everyone including himself.

And that just one of them. I have bad ending for each of them and I don’t even know which one is worst and I wrote them. I’ll post some of them later to show what I mean because is just a tip of the iceberg.

I doubt this is the place for this, but I want to see your opinions on an original character I made for one of my favorite games who’s based on Living Dead Dolls and its creators.

The game in question is Tokyo Afterschool Summoners, also known as Housamo. It’s a game targeted at an LGBTQ audience. Like Living Dead Dolls, it has its fair share of problematic elements.

Anyways, onto my OC!

-His name is Damien “Ian” Long, taking his first name from Damien Glonek, nickname from Mez, and his last name comes from Ed Long.

-He’s part of the Creators, a guild (a thing in universe that brings people with certain interests/ideologies together) that specializes in making content. Their work spans from model kits to manga to music.

-Like the people he’s based on, Damien specializes in dolls, with him customizing angel doll kits. This has gotten him in hot water with some of the more “holier than thou” angels, including the World Representative (a person who represents one of the 23 worlds connected to Tokyo) of Eden, Michael (who is the actual Archangel Michael.)

-Despite looking like a loner, he’s a sociable sweetheart, and he loves hawking his dolls at conventions. Some of these dolls are very rare and can fetch thousands of dollars from collectors.

-His father started his love for dolls, giving him a fashion doll for his birthday. Sadly, by the time he’s introduced, his father has passed away.

-He’s one of the heavier set characters, and this is due to habitual stress eating.

-He takes feedback from his guildmates to improve his dolls, because like earlier LDDs, some of them haven’t aged well.

-He’s friends with a guildmate who specializes in model kits due to their shared love of customizing kits.

-He sticks to the doll type he currently makes due to all of his other types of dolls (fashion dolls, baby dolls, and miniature dolls) not working.

-His Summon Day (basically the Housamo version of LDD death dates) is 10/8, the day Ed’s mother passed away.

-All of his outfits are based on Living Dead Dolls. His main outfit is a fusion between Damien (whoopee cap, coat, shorts) and Resurrection Killbaby (metal band t-shirt.) His beach outfit is based on Maggot, and it’s an old timey sailor’s outfit, with his long black hair being tied into a ponytail using a white bow. His winter outfit is based on Frozen Charlotte (using an icy blue coat) and her Resurrection doll (wearing her variant’s snowsuit.) He wears a nightgown based on Posey’s.

Any criticism?

I'll be honest and say that, without judgment, this isn't the style of fandom creative work I pursue, but it sound like you have a passion and put a lot of thought in. I hold no authority over how anybody approaches LDD, and I think it's cool what you've come up with.

So, months ago I did announce a silly intention of mine of drawing a crossover between Housamo and Digimon, and I’ve finally placed the first brick of this goofy project on the ground. Needless to say who the first one had to NECESSARILY be. I think you should know me by now🤣, don’t you? And…I haven’t only made our Ryota potato shrink, -because he has to be the age of Digidestined kids!-, but I also obviously gave him an adorable, -but not as adorable as him-, companion.

A Patamon as Ryota can’t really spend a day without getting his mind fucked up by an angel, even when he’s just a ten-year-old kid, hopeless, shy, reserved bby only deserving cuddles and affection. And the Patamon is called Israfil✨ because I love Ryota so much and I think he does deserve to experience what Mami did in “Rebellion”, eh😉? Sorry, I had to think about it. I think I drew Garuda once and did nothing with him afterwards and that was it. I came up with some mock ups for Pipa Jang (the jade pipa) and Jiutou Zhiji Jing (the nine headed pheasant) since I like girlies and wanted to actually provide something. They're not that thought out though, so it's just brief ideas.

Pipa Jang and Jiutou Zhiji Jing are meant to cause chaos and stir up drama like Hakumen, so I thought they'd do it in their own unique ways.

I think Jiutou Zhiji Jing would be the shape shifter type, considering her title, and that she'd cause chaos through espionage, spreading lies, gossiping, exposing others. She's probably just in it for the fun and luxury though.

And for Pipa Jang I was thinking that she could be one of those types who cause discord through music. Ya know the type. People hear it and just go mad. With Pipa, I think she would be the devotee/fangirl type and more involved with the "Great Mother" side of Nüwa since I like the idea of her actually being the pipa and the body she's possessing being created by Nüwa for her.

From stuff I'd like to see, maybe more American cryptids or folktale figures. I'm a sucker for Old Black Eyes rn.

[Housamo] Shennong Date Quest

Something bursts out of the sky that's rifting itself between the clouds, the sign of war is about to come. Shennong was all alone, scattering lives as he advances towards the other living beings in that field with no end in sight.

There was no one out there who knew how to cure illnesses, so he tested every unknown medicine that he could get his hands on for their sake. Someone would be starving out there, so he filled himself up with every poison out there for their sake.

Nevertheless, if a companion is out there, regardless of his relation to them was seeking aid, he would frantically run towards their whereabouts to lend a hand.

-- Plague, famine, war. He'd often ask for their forgiveness each time when he wasn't able to reach them and lend a hand before time.

[Shennong] "…"

Each new poison that's introduced to his system burned his internal organs. Neither were sweet nor sour to him, all he knew was that just living was but a bitter taste.

[Shennong] "…"

… It was only natural. For this was the only taste that he was made to experience.

His heart was filled to the brim by it. Till the eventual encounter of someone from Tokyo--

-- At that moment, he recalled a face and the one who appeared was Ito.

[Shennong] "-- Gkhh.. Aah, I was dreaming."

It was morning in the Kamiyado Academies staff dormitory of where Shennong was living in, he was awoken by the old days forming in his dreams.

As to not to disturb and harm his room mates, he wiped the sweat off of him that was carrying poison and slowly stirred up to make way to the bathroom.

He felt that he needed to wash away the residue of that dream left in him, and so Shennong grabbed the shower head and directly pointed it onto his body. He wanted to get back that vigor to give him strength.

[Shennong] "I can't believe this, what was up with that dream I had… I'm like a kid who just had puberty talking here." ".. Well, I suppose this is good enough. Well then--" "The weather is pretty good, I have enough time, not a mistake was made during my preparations." "Hahah, I did make one though, I was in such a hurry that I didn't know what to do when I was shaving. -- I may be a doctor that can cure anything, but this time?"

-- It has been some time since you've been summoned to Tokyo, you've encountered many others in this path.

However, there is one special person among many others, Shennong became a special existence in your life…

Throughout the many battles you two have faced together and overcome, there were times when tears were shed and laughter was shared amongst one another-- The distance between the two of you slowly shortened the more they get to know one another more.

They've called each other's name affectionately and it is not long before they've invited one another to be fully connected, this might yet be the last time to finally break into getting into the other's space and get a grip with their feelings at last.

And so for today-- Shennong has decided to invite the other to come out and play.

A message notice reached Ito and went to reach for her phone.

[[Take it easy. Don't injure yourself over arriving early now, alright?]] the message said.

Before long, the usual smile erupted on your face as the figure of Shennong starts to appear.

[Shennong] "I'm here, Ito! I just wanted to verify my surroundings for a bit when I was walking around.. No, I did not ask around!" "Enough about that, let me get a look at you, show me where you got injured. I'll make sure to get a special ointment so it can go away reaal quick, okay?" "Ah, my bad, my bad. Today's just the two of us, I'm not a teacher nor doctor anymore, I am on my day off, I should act as the good ol' me like I promised." [(Say he's worried too much.)] [(Say He's always like that.)] [(Say that he arrived too early.)] [Shennong] "Ah, I shouldn't be too worrisome. Is that--" "I've already decided I'd be with you no matter what.. Just like that, it is very important for me to worry constantly." "Hm, as much as I'd like to stand around and talk, how about we go on ahead, Ito?"

Shennong is dressed differently today, it was natural for you to extend your hand out and say something.

[(Say those clothes look good on him.)] [(Say you're glad to see him in his everyday clothes.)] [(Say you'll be delighted to escort him.)] [Shennong] "Hahahah! You're acting like this is some sort of important duty that needs to be fulfilled or something! If you're going to be like that then I might get motivated to do so, you know?"

Shennong took Ito's hand, pulling her close to his body as they calmly walked ahead.

[Shennong] "I'll let you escort me closely. Of course, till it's end point.. Right?" "Right, Let's get a move on. Let's go, Ito!"

The two of you arrived at the Botanical Garden. From medical herbs to poisonous plants were Shennong's favorites, his eyes twinkling even brighter the more you two press on.

[Shennong] "Ooh-- Ain't this a bountiful harvest! Aah, I don't want to lose you here so grab onto my hand, alright?"

Ito is led by the hand but was then emptied no sooner when Shennong went to take a peek at the map and spread it out.

[Shennong] "Let's see now, they have a special exhibition on display today with pigeons in it… Hmm, ohoh. I'm weighing everything in my mind right now, what about you?" "From A to Z, we can go and see anything… Just say what place you want to see first. In the end we just have half a day, we can only see a few sights before it's over." "Oh dear, we're on a date today, sorry about that. I also want Ito to have fun." "So, which one do you want to see, Ito? There's this place that's becoming popular lately." "No matter the area, I'll be sure to lead you around so relax, alright? Leave it to me, Ito!" [(Say you'll go anywhere with Shennong.)] [(Say there's something you want to remember before there's not enough time left.)] [(Say this is an unexpected turn.)] [Shennong] "Of course, I recommend everything in there but since you've given me the approval… To the herb garden it is!" "I do believe I did a collaboration with some director in this area. I was told to explain and supervise the area, provided with seeds, soil and whatnot." "I have yet to see the final results of it though. It's been weighing on my mind now, how about we go and check on it?"

[Shennong] "That guy--!! No, he should've been frank with me!!"

In this gigantic greenhouse, it's been filled to the brim with various vegetation for some time now and Shennong lets out a loud voice that's rather rare to come out of him.

[Shennong] "Look here, Ito! That one managed to cultivate a difficult harmony right there, over here should have some high quality results--" "And over there-- I have never seen this kind of species before in the books I've read, it's so rare!!" "Aah, that one's the best, I should get a taste right now..!"

His voice was springing into joy, Shennong was acting strange over some plants with an elated look on his face, he goes on and on explaining every single thing.

[Shennong] ".. Phew, sorry about that! I did promise you but I got myself so absorbed by everything." [(Say it is in everyone's nature to investigate everything.)] [(Say that you like seeing Shennong be so passionate when he talks about it.)] [(Say you want him to look at you the same way.)] [Shennong] "Is that so? I didn't know I would do that…" "Ito approving this kind of bad behavior of mine without even telling me.."

Shennong stacked his hand on top of hers and entwined their fingers with one another.

Time in this country passes by in utmost ease, their bodies huddled close together as they continue to walk around.

[Shennong] "Seems though we've let time pass too much. How about it, wanna have fun some more?" [(Nod)] [(Thank Shennong.)] [Shennong] "I see, I see! Hahahah! It'll be worthwhile to bring you along some more!" "Hey, Ito. Do you still have time after this? If it's fine by you, I can get us some fried rice but that is but one that I've been considering though.." [(Respond back by saying you want to come with him definetely.)] [(Reluctantly nod.)] [Shennong] "Really! Let's not dilly daddle any longer and let's head out, hope you're patient enough!"

The two got themselves a taxi and boarded on, with Shennong telling you beforehand that you both will be going to Shinjuku.

The taxi wasn't too far from the Kamiyado academy, but the crowd that he shared residence with stopped their movements along with their alcohol intake upon seeing them.

Shennong led Ito by the hand even then as the sky grows to a shade of orange, eventually heading to a store's interior.

[Shennong] "The ambience here ain't bad, right? I coincidentally found this after work and now I come here often, but lately it's been a blast."

Soon after, plates would be taken away as the two of you chat carefree together.

With a sigh of relief, Ito would look at Shennong's hand during dinner, only then to see your partner looking back at you.

[Shennong] "Ah, damn it, sorry about that! I've been looking at you rudely, sorry." "It isn't that the poison's been leaking out whenever I'm doing menial things… You see, the shopkeepers been glaring at me for a while now." "Ahem! Anyway, their cooking here ain't that bad, isn't that right? Right?" "Even I, every once in a while want to talk to someone about things. Ingredients to provisions, how the spice mixing is going, etc." "-- Hm? Is it surprising for me to be so knowledgeable about the ingredients of what'll be for dinner?" "Hahahah! Well, of course, it's normal for a doctor like me to be acting like a gentle brother figure." "Sir Shennong's food recommendations still has a long way to go though. My way of doing it is through eating and eating!"

Shennong laughs and just right before your eyes was your dinner being put down to the table.

Gulping it down as you two continue to talk, exchanging food with one another and so on. Sometimes his hand would then stop mid way.

[(Stare back at him curiously.)] [(There's something you want to say but can't.)] [(He doesn't seem to notice so you continue eating.)]

[Shennong] "… Ito. I'm not hiding what you think I've been hiding."

"I've been comparing everything from the past and the things I preferred it be. But even now, sometimes I'd stop my hand from reaching things that I want."

"-- You see, Ito, I.. I am at a peace."

"I was the type of guy who would strictly resist from eating something like fried rice because I remember thinking to myself it'd be bitter…"

"Whenever one of the men would collapse in front of me, I remember just taking some painkillers was enough to bring some peace of mind because I would look like I stepped into hell…"

"You look so happy eating that fried rice. Whenever I look at you, I grow to love it… Lame, isn't it?"

[(Shake your head.)] [(Say it isn't.)] [(Ensure that he's free to do whatever he likes.)] [Shennong] "Is that so.. If Ito says it's okay then I'm glad we had this heart to heart talk." "Hey, Ito. After this, do you still have some time?"

[(Give a wide smile and nod.)] [(Reluctantly nod.)] [Shennong] "… Right, thank you, Ito." "C'mon, you still haven't had enough to eat, especially some dessert, right? Well, how about an all you can eat 3 star stuff?"

The previous air between the two of you that you haven't felt for a while now was nonexistent and Shennong continues to smile even after that dinner.

And just like that the day was eventually coming to a close along with the soon parting back to go home, now--

With their dinner concluded, the two were unexpectedly approached by an incoming rain.

[Shennong] "Woah, hey! Come over here for a sec… Hah, the weather forecast even said today was going to be a clear one." "Ito, there's.. Something I wanna say. Would you give me a bit more of your time here?" "I've been pacing around the park on the things I wanna talk to you about some time ago, but I've remembered it now." "… Well, I did thought of giving up on the prospect. Sorry, Ito." "How about accompanying this moron from now on? What, I guarantee that you'll get the best health care out there!"

In the midst of this conversation, Shennong took off his jacket and gave it to Ito so that she'd be covered and as a move to prolong this even more.

As you were led yet again by the hand, you come face to face with the Kamiyado academy's infirmary.

[Shennong] "Glad that there's some change of clothes in here. The strong rain won't get us here at least.." "You can go dry your wet clothes here for now. Sorry about this, would you mind being a bit patient?"

The rain begins to get stronger, beating against the windows of the infirmary while the two of you sit on the bed.

On their side was a blanket that Shennong and Ito covered themselves with for some warmth.

[Shennong] "Oh, Why don't you drink some of Mr. Shennong's special tea herb to warm yourself up?"

He hands out the steaming cup towards you and he directed himself to sit on the chair instead.

[Shennong] "….. Good?" "Nah, taste's horrible, huh? … Hahah. There's still some take out left if you want." "Back then… There was this person who I would always try to be patient with no matter how selfish it'd be… being forced to drink this disgusting medicine." "… I figured that I should shove it anyway down her mouth each time no matter how bad it tasted." "… My home world has always, always been engulfed by war and drought." "If I can save at least one person, this life that I've had would've been worth it." "Hence why I'd always come out and risk it when saving someone. These arms of mine has done nothing but take the easy way out."

The sky lashes out with a bright lightning strike as though similar to living through hell. You could tell that there were many lives taken.

He told of how the sky ripped itself apart and then was mended back thanks to someone's aid, that one person who landed onto their earth.

[Shennong] "However, this person did not care how many people survived… I couldn't tell you if there was something else more important to her." "It didn't matter to her if lives were saved, she couldn't be bothered to be happy about it. I'll never know if she really was that arrogant…" "Ah, this is bad. I'm smiling despite how awful the story was… Hahah." "Hah- Sorry. I went off on a tangent there." "… It's getting cold. Want me to heat you up?" Shennong grins and scoots his chair a bit closer that he's sitting right in front of you.

[Shennong] "… You know, you seem a bit different lately. I've been wondering something along the lines: [I wonder what you taste like]." "I've been wanting to take a bite out this person, wondering what sort of face they'll make, and that smile along with it. I've also thought at just how attractive you are…" "I'm glad you came here, Ito. I've actually been stringing you along to this place actually." "I did wondered if there was someone special in your heart, too. This insides of mine… It's been in flames since."

[Shennong] "Whenever I look at you, I strangely heat up… Could it be possible that I've been tempted by you?" "-- If it's true then I'd like to have you as my medicine to take…"

[Shennong] "Hey, Ito… What do you think? Even if it's poisonous… Would you still want to try it?" Shennong breaks through the tension with an expression, and as always he manages to make an easygoing smile.

[Shennong] "Sorry, sorry. I couldn't stop myself from laughing." "Well, Ito. You've given me your sweet consent." "Sorry, but I am already resolved into doing you… From now on, you'll be getting doused by poison."

As always, Shennong does what he usually do by letting himself wander, for what poison that this grown man has is only replied back with a smile.

[Shennong] "Alright, you problem child. You may be my special one but…" "I am still the Kamiyado Academy's doctor, nothing between us will change but you can call me anytime." "… Dont be hurting yourself too much… I want you to still be alive and kicking." "I'll be giving you my special care after this… Don't go passing out, alright?" "We're now in a student-teacher relationship. I once again ask that you take care of me from now on, okay?" Unbeknownst to the rain, the two were looking at the starry skies, inside where only the two of them were gently shimmering.

Shennong and Ito were silent, as their mouths linked with one another, their skin close, and the sweet tasting heat were exchanged.

Back into the interrogation room, the Chassard is convinced we are guilty, going so far as to say we were part of the mobs plan. Astosis is quick to correct him to say we weren't involved but sucked into it. The interrogator is inferring that we were colluding with the mobs since we are both outsiders, but Astosis is quick to ask if they have any proof which they do not.

So we resume with after breaking up with Astosis-wait. We were dating the hot lion man?! Why did we break up?! WHAT DID YOU DO MC?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ROYALLY FU-

Flashing back, we meet, Giasal, a Genshinfied version of Immortan Joe. The mob units say they want to be free, but Giasal declines. In essence, he says that they are weak and he's lost interest in them. Unfortunately for us the moment the mob units mention we are strong, that immediately causes Giasal to turn his attention towards us and says he looks forward to fighting us.

After some fisticuffs, Chassard finally gets off their assess to actually assist, Giasal realizes that he won't be able to have his fun so he grabs the mob units and scurries off and before we catch up, the Chassard bastards (Chastards?) block off and says that we might be colluding with them. Realizing it's pointless, our group leaves, and Yohack apologizes for how rude everyone has been to us. We assure him it's not his fault and he doesn't need to apologize. Nessen asks if there is a possibility of going to one of the workshops to see how the ornaments and clothes are made. Yohack says he knows just the placed and talks a bit about the workshops. Cloges is primarily a textile town and during the Luna festival, they add extra embroideries on the textiles and ornaments as the details also serve as an advertisement for the workshop.

We then arrive at a random workshop where we are greeted by people who are seen in the same way Housamo MC's outfits are (I guess it's better than using the same sprite for multiple characters like dislyte [the reporter lady is alive,dead,married, single, young, old and with/without kids!]). Yohack calls the gentleman Uncle and the storeowner warmly comments how much he's grown. Since we're friends of Yohack he agrees to take us to the back to show us how the items are made.

Maculata immediately goes to the craftsmen to interrogate ask them about their inspiration and fashion design. Meanwhile, the storeowner provides a box of costumes and decorations for Nessen to peruse. Nessen is astounded by the attention to detail and the storeowner comments how skilled their craftsment are. Nessen inquires if these are put out for the festivals and they are or are not products. The storeowner says that not only is the craftmanship their pride and joy but also their way of expressing their admiration and love for Luna. Each store and craftsman have a different way of expressing their admiration for their star. When Nessens asked what if some decoration are bad, the storeowner quality doesn't matter. The important thing is people put themselves out there in their admiration and work and that is worthy enough of gaining praise (I wish some art spheres were like that). With that said, we have to go and prepare for the masquerarde.

Nessen finally has some inspiration on what to do for his hotsprings and Yohack says he's more than happy to visit. We then arrive at the castle where Astosis is there to greet us and we will begin the Masquerade in the next chapter.

I want to know what you think of my Housamo OC!

Damien is a Japanese/American Tokyoite who is based on the creators of the Living Dead Dolls franchise. If you don’t know what that is, it’s a gothic doll line produced by Mezco Toyz. The brand has been around since 1998 (having started out as customized angel doll kits,) but became commercially available around 2000.

Anyways, on to Damien’s profile!

He’s part of the Creators guild, and, much like the people he’s based on, he customizes angel doll kits. This has caused tension with some of the more “holier than thou” angels like Michael, who see it as “desecration” of the dolls. Despite looking like a loner, he’s a sociable sweetheart who loves attending conventions. His father started his love of dolls, but he’s sadly passed away by the start of the story. He’s also a bit chubby due to habitually stress eating.

Damien takes a lot of feedback from his guildmates on how he can make the dolls better. This is because a lot of his earlier dolls (much like earlier LDDs) haven’t aged the best. He’s friends with Vapula due to both being into toy kits. Admittedly, all of his other types of dolls (ie, fashion dolls, baby dolls, and miniature dolls) have all ended in failure, so he just sticks to what he’s good at.

Damien’s Summon Day is October 8th, which is the day Ed Long (one of the creators of the brand)’s mother passed away.

His outfits are all based on Living Dead Dolls. His main outfit is based on both Series 1’s Damien (with a whoopee cap, shorts and coat) and Resurrection Killbaby (wearing a metal band t-shirt.) His beach outfit is based on Maggot (who’s my personal favorite) from Series 11. It’s an old fashioned sailor’s uniform that has an alt with its buttons undone, as well as tying his long, black hair into a ponytail with a white ribbon. During winter, he wears a long, icy blue coat and a snow suit. This is based on Series 12’s Frozen Charlotte and her Resurrection variant. For pajamas, he wears an old fashioned nightgown that emulates the dress worn by Posey from the first series.
