i love science. my cat is getting up there in years so she's not always paying attention when i'm refilling her food bowl. making sure your cat stays hydrated + eating regularly is really important no matter the age, but especially so when they're geriatric. her hearing isn't always great either so if she isn't beckoned by the sound of the can opening or bowls clattering i have a foolproof method to pspsps her over. i place her food down, catch some of the air close it in my hands as if i'm gently catching a bug, walk over to wherever she is and THROW THE AIR AT HER FACE. it immediately sets off her Investigative Sniffy Nose and she gets up to go hunt down her lunch. i love being able to throw scents at my cat. science is incredible.
