Hey Arcane Fandom!

It’s been an amazing year on Tumblr celebrating our love of this incredible show with each other through art, writing, and general unhinged simping insanity. It has been a joy and a privilege to spend this past year surrounded by so many wonderful and gifted people; drooling over art, crying or laughing or dying of thirst at each new fic, and celebrating together as we watched this masterpiece of a show deservedly win award after award.

As we remember the past months fondly and look ahead to simping our way into the future, we would like to offer everyone the chance to celebrate each month of the new year alongside our very favorite ratman. Thirteen of the most talented artists and twelve of the most incredible writers the Silco fandom has the privilege to call its own have all joined together to create a 2023 SILCO CALENDAR.

This was a labor of love and friendship made by and dedicated to the people who make this fandom the joyful home of unhinged fun we have built together. This Monday it will be available for FREE digital download for anyone who wants it! You can use the template to print a physical copy or just enjoy it as is, with twelve months of The Eye of Zaun keeping watch over your every sinful misdeed and encouraging each one.

Maaannn, compared to Kyoshi’s novels on Kyoshi and Rangi interactions are way more then Yangchen novels on Yangchen and Kavik. For them it’s like bread crumbs😭😭

Man y’all, I’m loving the darn crumbs, Kavik being a massive dork and being bright red over Yangchen. And I LOVE Kyoshi and Rangi being absolute stinkers to each other with kisses and soft hugs, THEY ARE THE WHOLE CAKE IMO.

When all of this is over Fit doesn't run straight to Pac and only Pac, because Tubbo's important to him too, he hugs them both.

But no one needs to know if he hugs Pac just a little bit tighter, little bit longer. If he learns to hold his sword left handed so he can fight side by side with Pac. That's just what roommates do, right?

But for now he just hugs Ramon so tight it hurts, not that Ramon's complaining, it's a reminder that they're both there together, they're not alone.

They're never quite alone, are they, for better or worse...

haikaveh... save me haikaveh...

i KNOW it's been talked about to death but. the haikaveh research project. it literally haunts my mind. i cannot get over the implications. alhaitham going through his school life as someone that most people dont even really know about because he keeps to himself and doesn't socialize, with kaveh being the one exception to that, finding his way into his life as his Best Friend, and then leading to alhaithams one and only time he participated in a research topic. his bio says he only ever did ONE joint project!!! one!!! the one with kaveh his best friend and i think also his only friend at the time!!!! and then it ended in not only the project falling apart but also alhaithams only friendship. kavehs best friendship. they were each others closest person. they had no family around - alhaithams parents having died when he was young and his grandmother dying before he joined the akademiya, and kaveh's dad dying when he was young and his mom having moved to fontaine. like even if you dont look at it through a romantic lens it's still undeniable how important they were [and are] to each other..........

i'm getting off track but my point is very specifically for alhaitham, the one time he got close to someone, made a friend, even agreed to join one(1) group project ever, it ended in disaster. it led him into a fight so bad that his one and only friend said he regretted that friendship!!!! it was so bad alhaitham left the project and he and kaveh didnt speak for ages until they just happened to run into each other again at the tavern!!!!! like obviously it has to be incredibly awful for both of them but i just think how this probably had alhaitham in the cynical mindset that friendships and collaborations like that might just never work out for him because the one time he let someone into his life, it blew up on him and he was all alone again. even though alhaitham never seems to care much if people dont like him, that clearly cant still apply to someone he was exceptionally close to. like if he didnt care he woudlnt have been the one to take his name off the project and mutually not speak to kaveh...... kavehs words are the ones that hit the most significantly to alhaitham.......... kaveh is said/implied to have had at least some other friends while at school / people knew who he was, but not so much alhaitham. people didnt know him and the ones that did just knew he didnt socialize/he was not easy to get along with. he only had kaveh and then, for a while, he lost him too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hate complicated feelings surrounding chapter six ( aka the introduction to the iconique ravesey hate that i deleted from stress ) because i actually did love it...i just rushed the hell out of it, didn't plan it out very well and it was a mess. it could have been a lot better.

part of why i deleted it was actually because of that ravenstan/kenny phonecall because i felt worried that i revealed too much about how not cool and actually boy-failure-y stan was too early and could have kept the suspense going longer but aaaaaa i just wanted y'all to see how CUTE he was, like??? and how nervous! AAAA!!!

buuut considering the cat has been out of the bag, or rather, the raven has flown the nest for some time now...and it's the beauteous day you were born...i will humbly present you with this b-day present in the form of my incompetent idiot girl ramblings/writings, though, i fear it is not at all as grand the gift of your life is.

claude giroux, as demonstrated by the pie chart, is so beautiful and so shippable. i want those sens yungins to make him feel like an absolute dinosaur and i would read any and all of it even if i am more partial to claude/flyers pairings. to be specific:

josh norris: i need you to watch this video and tell me that's not horny. in what other contexts can you teach josh french, claude

timmy stü: i know there's gifs out there but the way he is with claude on the bench... ohhh he wants to fuck that old man so bad, he wants that old man to tell him he's pretty and doing so well

It's kinda hard to think about how she'd be with another character considering how obsessed I am with daiggie but!!! For the sake of your question teehee~

I feel like they'd be like such a chill couple (granted, daiggie are chill too, but I think her and Silver could be even more), I feel like their morals would quickly align and he'd be very much a gentleman to her. They'd be way more reserved when it comes to PDA than daiggie is, there be tons and tons of lazy kisses and Silver would just be the perfect suit to be her knight in shining armor, he'd be wonderful to protect her and she would feel so so so safe around him<3

Overall they'd be the definition of highschool sweethearts
