Thoughts on poly with satosugu

a/n: long post LOL enjoy

howd you manage to get two of the most caring yet annoying boyfriends ever??? they feed off each others energy sm it’s insane lol good luck. but not in a bad way of course. it def started out when one man of the two was frustrated with the stagnancy and the mixed signals between the three of you that gojo decided to confess and the both of you dated for a while.

geto didnt rlly wanna intrude and felt bad even tho you three were still eye fucking basically every time u were in a room together. gojo was the first to ask you about it “no because ive thought of it too” and gojo’s face lights up bc teecchnically hes been texting geto always how its been a dream to date you even tho it rubs in the wound a little. but it’s ok!!!! im sorry suguru!!! all three of you are together now !!!! 

to start off they are very physical and clingy. always need to have some part of their body on you. gojo prefers the arm slinging over your shoulders, geto prefers a more subtle arm around the waist. ppl r always starin when you three go out 😭 but it’s so cute lowkey! gojo is usually the upbeat one, suggesting dates and places to go and things to do, creating the gc between the three of you (if u didnt alr have one), keeping the relationship fresh with a lot of questions. geto contributes more to the practicality of the rs?? not to say he doesnt talk or is passive in the poly rs but he’s more of a getting groceries, lounging in the back watching the two of you talk excitedly bout digimon, and likes the household chores kind of guy.

it feels like if i say this it’s too cheesy but gojo feels like a sunrise: the dawn of a new day and the adventures that it may bring while geto is like sunsets: the dusk of winding down after the exciting day and youre always craving both. gojo and geto complete each other in countless other ways too and the dynamic you three have is super adorable.

ill highlight a few scenarios bc theres too much potential and power w/ poly stsg!! watching movies: geto us usually okay with anything u two pick out and gojo picks out some psychological horror for funsies but hes screaming into geto’s arms at every jumpscare 😭 the popcorn goes everywhere good lord. you and geto laugh (in the case youre not too afraid of horror) laugh at gojo and pepper him in kisses even when he puts the blame on you for choosing this movie. “too scared that youre placing the blame on our poor (y/n)?” gojo tsks and swats away geto’s hand but is soon distracted by you pulling u into your embrace lol <3 the usual movie positions are like this: either the both of you latch onto geto’s sides, or youre tucked into geto and gojo sits on the floor, your head in either man’s laps and your feet on the other, you squashed in the middle of them both, gojo tucked in your hug while you are tucked in geto’s <333

going grocery shopping: it’s stocking up time and geto cant possibly handle bringing back all the groceries by himself so he brings you along and also (reluctantly) brings gojo. main reason is bc gojo likes to put a lot of things in the cart and begs with his pretty eyes of his that geto always gives in 😭 youre like semi-focused on the task. you put together the grocery list but then youre getting distracted when you see the fruits section and point at it excitedly to geto. gojo is somewhere in the store. sometimes you lead the expedition, pushing the trolley as geto and gojo walk together a few steps behind hand in hand. it changes a whole lot.

sometimes geto will head off to get something and youre left to push the trolley, with gojo by your side kissing your temples walking by your side. they will both sometimes play pranks on you and go off without telling u and run around the store hoping you wont find them LMAO, or even be so so embarrassing dancing in the middle of the aisles or putting their face up to the cameras that broadcast the footage on big tvs ….. also once you guys lost gojo and you had to make an announcement at the counter to call for a six foot man to meet you two at the cashiers….

it’s easy to feel insecure sometimes, or rather not getting enough love / feeling left out bc sometimes they both click so well together you cant understand their inside jokes or they act like boys again, hitting and laughing to each other about shoko fumbling utahime again or something. they apologise profusely, feeling guilty that they even made u feel like that, esp gojo since he has a tendency to initiate a lot of those jokes which you dont understand, or talk about man things lol. youre the sole focus of their eyes always and they show it even more today by pampering you, having a sleepover ish date night, you paint each other’s nails and do some skin care, gossip a little. geto and gojo compliments you a lot, even more so during this bout of insecurity. they fight over who gives better compliments 😭😭😭😭

but either way you bring both of them in to kiss them as a thank you. it’s so difficult to choose between the both of them for cuddling too bc theyre so warm always. you curl into geto first bc on this night you guys picked your fav movie (which also happened to be gojo’s fav) but you were feeling tired asf so the former let you rest up on him while hte latter had his eyes glued. and later when geto needs to clean up he passes you to gojo gently and you adjust yourself against his lanky body <3333 “she’s just so cute, ain’t she?” geto smiles, brushes your hair out ur face, placing a peck on your forehead and another on gojo’s lips. “rest up first, both of you. i’ll come in soon.”

overall best boyfriends ever; let me highlight some more scenarios which i think would happen: coddling over you when you get your period. geto holding your tummy and massaging it while gojo feeds u snacks. fighting over the blanket between the three of you. gojo runs cold at night, geto runs a little cold too so youre usually the mediator between the two of them. “just buy a bigger blanket!!!” and gojos up and ready to head out at 3am. “go to sleep satoru the stores not open rn.” “theft exists.” “no!” sometimes youd go on individual dates when the other cant make it, esp when you three have busy schedules. either two will ALWAYS promise to shower the third in affection once they return home from the date! sometimes when you three need to visit weddings, you’d be squashed in the middle dancing with them, two towers and the shorter one in between that it looks a little comical.

fighting about whose music is the best in the car and fighting over the au, fighting abt who gets to drive. gojo tries to squeeze into the stick shift bc sometimes he misses you two in the back seat :(((( they let you sit down on public transport if the car isnt possible. scary dog privileges, two of them. gojo sneers at anyone who wants ur number and tells them off, geto glares quietly, gojo thinks its bc of him but actually it’s all geto’s doing LMAOAOAO. loving the kisses they both give you: gojo a little more excitable and geto’s sensual and slower, will also fight over who you should straddle when your making out but u give them both equal attention. one will take over the other whos preoccupied with your lips. geto littering kisses down your neck while youre busy with gojo’s lips and vice versa 💟💟💟

sigh id love to be in a poly rs with them and id love to write n*sfw but my hands hurt toodles (i do have a stsg ask that is smutty tho ... will write that soon muahahha)

Undertale Sans - He's the guardian of the main door lol. No one has the right to enter, except if they make him laugh with a very good knock-knock joke. Everyone failed. They're doomed to stay outside. No one really knows it's because you have Covid because Sans forgot to mention it lol. You are so confused when one of your best friends calls you to ask you if you're sequestrated by Sans.

Undertale Papyrus - He watched some video of the first confinement and assumed buying a lot of toilet paper was the thing to do. He got a bit confused but went to the store to buy their entire stock of toilet paper. Since he didn't know where to put it, he built a toilet paper fortress in the middle of your living room. You won't have to buy toilet paper ever again you think.

Underswap Sans - He caught it too, but has no symptoms, like most monsters. He is now going crazy inside his own home crawling on the floor because he can't stop thinking about going out. After a week, your house is a war field as Blue had to find new ways to make himself busy. He tried to cook, which he failed, he painted the walls again, but ran out of paint and screamed when he realized he couldn't go out to buy more, he took a soup bath just because he could... Yeah, never again.

Underswap Papyrus - He would not say he's glad you caught it, but look at that, you're stuck home for an entire week with him! He's going to cuddle with you on the couch all day. He doesn't care if he gets ill, at least that will give him another week with you. He's having the time of his life and he wants to live like this forever, watching Disney movies while hugging his S/O in the couch, with a big plaid and hot chocolate.

Underfell Sans - With the fever and you sleeping 20 hours a day, Red isn't sure you're still alive sometimes. So randomly during the days, he's going to poke your ribs with a broom to make sure you're not dead lol. You better show you're alive quick though or he's panicking and calling rescue services. It happened twice already lol. You woke up so confused to rescuers trying to prove your boyfriend you're actually ok.

Underfell Papyrus - You told him no one has to enter the house and it took it a bit too literally. He trapped the garden and the main road leading to your house to make sure no one got close. He caused three car accidents already and a Karen screamed at him because her kid stayed three hours hanging upside down to a branch of his tree. Edge doesn't care, he's protecting. No one will get in.

Horrortale Sans - He's embracing the golden retriever kind of life, following you everywhere in the house, sleeping at the back of your bed, staring into your soul when it's time to eat to make sure you're eating... You barely manage to keep him out of the bathroom lol. Yeah, Oak is a bit anxious about it and kinda thinks you're going to die or something. You keep telling him you're fine but he's not convinced.

Horrortale Papyrus - Your food tastes like hand sanitizer because he's washing everything with it, food included. You feel even more sick now. You're begging him to stop but he keeps telling you it's for your own good. Man... You just want McDonald's right now...

Swapfell Sans - He's using you as an excuse to not go to work with Toriel and he's so proud of him. You swear he's trying to make the quarantine longer because he really doesn't want to go again. He's a bit paranoid about you though. When you're coughing more than 5 seconds, he's running to make sure you're okay.

Swapfell Papyrus - He will call you nothing but "mutant pangolin" for the entire week and will call all your friends and family to tell them you have started your mutation and won't be able to join them for a week. You're going to have a lot of calls asking what the hell is happening to you. Your mother even thinks you're pregnant. Thanks Rus.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He's sleeping in a tent in the garden and refuses to get close to the house lol. You told him wearing an anti-radiation suit was too extreme, but he doesn't want you to contaminate him so he won't listen to you. Wine is maybe a bit paranoid about human viruses.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - You told him you will sadly not be able to cuddle him all week. He gives you the ultimate offended hurt kicked puppy look. He could never forgive you. He's sulking in his room for three days before daring to get down for food.

some pretty rough and bad sketches for some designs for a persona au? i also doodled a couple others but they need more cleanups than these guys do. which granted they still need a lot of cleanup. uhhhh notes under the cut for some stuff

i have the least to say about trucy. um i think her design needs the least touchups and thats only partially because drawing her was really easy with her canon design already being somewhat within the realm of persona designs. her arcana is the magician (obviously) and her persona is hermes !! idk why but it felt very fitting for her immediately. idk it might be a combination of both epics take on hermes being very silly and trucy acting as a sort of messenger sometimes to give people fake evidence. its ok guys it wasnt her fault shes literally a kid. honestly shes the only one ive decided on a persona for dfvgfedf. as for role in the party i think shed be garbage with physical stuff but have a very high magic stat because. magician !! as for what magic uhhh ill put a hesitant curse or wind. she could be either of those really.

athena i think would be the navigator. i just think it makes sense for her with her whole thing being about psychology and the general nature of palaces it seems fitting shed have that role. but while i think shed fill a similar role to futaba in being a navigator i think she would absolutely still be a party member because i cant imagine athena NOT being a party member. let the girl kill!!! i think shed mostly do physical damage and her magic type would be psychic obviously. i realize this is a haru ass build but whatever. also her arcana is strength. i considered some others but like come on shes strength. also while i was trying to come up with a persona for her i briefly realized i could just. take a pre existing persona and change their arcana TO strength instead of just working with personas that are already strength. and i was thinking of maybe giving her aphrodite? because i COMPLETELY forgot sex was a thing and was like "yeah aphrodite is about love and emotion and athenas got a lot of emphasis placed on her ability to hear others emotions and shes a psychologist so thats fitting also i cant give her athena as a persona obviously and ares isnt too fitting for her either but i remember hearing aphrodite at one point did have some association to war like athena and ares? and i was like YES aphrodite is a great choice. then i remembered the sex part and was like oh hm maybe not? but i might give her aphrodite anyways i just hope people like. get the actual reason why i think she should have aphrodite and dont just assume things. unfortunately i hate her design soooo much here i need to redo it or find some good inspiration

and nahyuta hasnt actually changed uh. much at all since my initial sketches for this au like a year ago. his arcana is the hierophant and his persona is uh. i havent actually decided yet sorry. lmk if yall have any good ideas though!! i do have a rough idea for his moveset, because i think he should have bless magic (because of course, maybe you could mix in some curse too for funsies but im worried about stepping on akechis toes too much with nahyuta dfvbgfd) obviously, and i think he could also be support. i dont think hed be much of a healer but have things like stat buffs and debuffs instead? so things like matarukaja and elec break for example. also for a vague concept of his role in the story, i think he might have a similar role to akechi, albeit probably not a villain really? my idea is that hed be working on his own in the metaverse, and eventually joins the main party because they share similar goals and its safer to work with others in the metaverse anyways. but hes probably slow to actually become part of the group in terms of like. being friends with them fbfrerfg. thats also why his design is sort of different in color palette from everyone else? all the others very mainly feature black in their designs while hes mostly white and gold. i think itd be cool for him to get a costume change at some point to fit in with them better, maybe make his scarf black? idk. also completely accidental but in my rough apollo sketches i gave him a similarish scarf and i think thats a funny similarity. i think nahyuta and apollo would hate each others guts. idk im trying to make designs cohesive like again you cant see it here but i tried to have trucy and apollo share a lot of design elements and i accidentally gave apollo and nahyuta similar scarfs and all the gang has black on their designs etc etc. im trying to make connections but im not all that good at character design so. its a struggle. but we stay silly.

OK. biggest question of my life. gonna list top 3 favs for elisabeth and tod but i’ll throw in a rudolf or two. honorable mentions and least favs too just for funsies. also it’s going to be painfully obvious that i mostly stick to german language productions sorry in advance. and nothing too niche probably. maybe one day ill revise when i’ve watched like every video i have

elisabeth

1. pia douwes

OF COURSE NUMBER ONE IS PIA. she is my absolute favorite actress, not just in this role but also just in general. i first saw her in the role in the essen proshot, and how she conveyed all the different highs and lows of the character was just so good. you can feel every emotion and you can believe every word. i had watched the 2005 vienna proshot first, and i liked it a lot, but it wasn’t until i saw pia in the titular role that everything really clicked. her understanding of the character is so compelling, and i literally just don’t get tired of it. she’s also an absolute powerhouse vocally. hoping to go to the netherlands next year to see her in the show for real!

2. ranno hana

okaaayy i haven’t watched zuka 2014 in a BIT but… ok confession… i don’t love zukabeth. i like it enough, but a lot of the changes are just tooo hard for me to completely forgive lol. that said, i’ve watched a few productions, and this one was a standout for me, mostly bc of this elisabeth (and tod tbh but this isn’t abt them rn). i really loved her portrayal of the character, acting-wise i think she’s seriously incredible. vocally she’s not exactly a favorite, but like who gaf. she’s GOOD! her wenn ich tanzen will is one of my favorites, as is her ich gehor nur mir. so fun to watch

3. maya hakvoort

don’t be fooled even though vienna 2005 didn’t completely hook me at first i do like maya a lot. in terms of character, i think maya plays it a little more broken and beaten, which is an interpretation of the character i love. she’s crushing under all this weight, and though she remains strong, she really really shows all the cracks that form. her der schleier fallt with mate always makes me wanna bash my head in (in a really good way!)

mari hanafusa (toho 2016) didn’t love her in zuka 96 but she’s really good here

92 vienna specifically. this is The tod. u cannot say the word death without me thinking of that swoopy 90s hair. u can’t talk abt some random guy named todd without me thinking of that swoopy 90s hair. he lives in my head and i cant evict him. i love other interpretations of the character and while i dont like to be all THIS IS THE ONE CORRECT WAY TO PLAY THIS AND THIS… this is the most correct in my heart. i love the ambiguity so much. i think its essential. most vienna tods from this era just don’t really captivate me as much as uwe bc i think the bar was set so high (and vienna content is SCARCE to say the least). i like him in essen as well, but the way the character was directed in that production isssss inferior imo. he’s got good elisabeth takes too so number one

2. jesper tydén

i really don’t know how this happened. i really really just like his tod. depending on the day i think he could switch with mate. i get the vibe that his tod is a conniving little beyotch. slimy, maybe is the way to put it? but not exactly as gross as slimy would suggest? unhinged, but not flying off the handle? calculated, but not fully controlled? i think it’s also the vocals that bump him up for me, he’s got some GOOD vocals that really get to shine in this role. i do also just really love essen understudies for some reason

3. máté kamarás

like i said he can swap for jesper but today is a jesper in 2 day. for me, mate is more the acting and not so much vocals, at least later in the vienna revival run and every production onward. i do love his voice earlier on though, so it’s a shame his voice kinda suffered a bit! maybe this kinda sounds like a diss or something but ITS NOT. i think mate tod is really captivating, there’s this vibe that the impossible really did happen, he really did love elisabeth, and he plays it very well. he bounces off of the other actors incredibly (vienna revival im specifically thinking about), so every interaction with every character has something just sooo good about it. i also like how sparkly he is in hungarian productions

number one is all original vienna i’m sorry LOL it’s andreas bieber. wenn ich dein spiegal wär was written because of him (or something like that), so i think that says something! not sure how exactly to put this but i like how ? pitiful ? his rudolf is LMFAO. when i was just getting into elisabeth and browsing through youtube clips i didn’t understand whatsoever his rendition of the aforementioned song struck a chord with me. no clue what he could’ve possibly been singing about, didn’t even know the historical context lol, but i could infer enough from his acting and it was SAD. seeing mayerling for the first time when actually watching the musical in full was like ohhh…

I'm no writer, but inspired by my Coffee shop au (linked) i did a little sample piece for funsies/writing practice... idk what will come of this but it was fun and interesting to get back into actually writing a fanfic piece again...

Bars always seem to be a completely different atmosphere when it was day time.

All you could hear was the rustling and clinking of staff putting away the new merchandise or cleaning the equipment and the hum of the air conditioners. The faint scent of sanitizer mixed with alcohol hung in the air, strong enough to tell that the surfaces had just recently been wiped down.

As he sat patiently at one of the empty tables, Centross’ eyes glazed over the figures and trinkets that surrounded the bar. He could tell each one had been placed carefully and each section had its own theme. The tables and booths had a more ‘on deck’ feel. Pictures of great ships and sea creatures hung along the walls, surrounded by ropes tied and hung from the ceiling like shrouds or fishermen nets. The wooden tables were decorated with small ships to hold up the menus and the chairs had an aged leather look to them, which were surprisingly comfortable. The bar itself had a large, long statue of a dragon, made of a seaweed green glass displayed against the back wall, surrounded by the shelves of various amounts of alcohol.

The more you looked the more you saw, but unfortunately Centross didn’t get to look around much more as Kai, the owner of Sea Dragon, came out from the staff only doors. He stood up to meet her, extending a hand to introduce himself.

“Hey, you must Kai. I’m David, it’s nice to meet you” Centross was a little nervous. It had been a while since he was considered for an interview, he even had to buy a new button up shirt since the old one was worn out and faded.

“Yeah, I know who you are” Kai responded, her tone not doing a good job at hiding her snark and her, a bit too firm, handshake was not helping either.

“Oh, right, I guess you would after reading my resume” He tried to brush it off and lighten the mood, thinking he was just being paranoid about the way she was acting.

Kai gave a hum and the forced smile made Centross think it was meant to be a laugh. “So why do you want to work here, David?” She asked, cutting straight to the point.

Centross took a breath, trying to let the advice Wolf had given him and their practice questions come back to him.

“Well, I do have experience behind the bar, honestly, I’ve grown to love the work, it keeps me on my feet. I’m fully licenced, I have-“

“Yeah, yeah I’m sure your credentials and achievements are very nice,” Kai interrupted, “What I meant was, why here at the Sea Dragon?” she clarified.

Centross gave an apologetic look, as he stumbled to correct himself. However, while trying to come up with an answer, he noticed the daggers Kai was glaring at him.

“Have I done something to upset you?” Centross asked defensively. Gee, he had just met the woman and she acts like he spat in her face.

Kai barked a laugh at his question, looking at him with disbelief, her last bit of professionalism, now washed away.  Seeing Centross’ face made her realise, he really did not know.

“You still don’t do your research do you?”

Ok, now Centross was really confused. “Are you… not the owner?” he tried.

Ocie chuckled again. “I’m Kai. Kai Feywild”

Realisation slowly set on Centross’ face. “F-Feywild?” Ocie nodded. “As in… Strawberri Feywild- oh fuck!”

“My sister” Kai confirmed, as Centross dropped his head into his hand in defeat.

So, this wasn’t an interview, it was an interrogation. God, how the hell did he not know this!?

“Hey man, ill give you this: I’m impressed by the fucking balls you have to come in here, asking me for a job, after you did?” Kai, pointed her sharp nails at him to emphasise her accusatory tone.

“Listen i-“

“No, you listen,” Kai snapped. “I’ve worked my fucking ass off to get this business up and running and I’m not going to let it all go to shit because a deadbeat, drug pusher wants to get back in to business!”

“I’m not- we didn’t-“ Centross let out a frustrated groan, running a hand through his hair trying to find the words. “Look, that was a long time ago, I’m sober and clean and it’s not like I was the one making it-“

“No, apparently you weren’t, you’re just the one who insisted on selling it with my nephew and making my sister your dealer!” Centross gave a defeated sigh. “The only reason I called you in was to make sure you weren’t going to start this shit with me or my Strawberri again. She’s been through enough”

Centross took moment to answer, all the previous interviews and questioning coming back to him like a montage of fails. He knew he wasn’t going to get on her good side, maybe ever, but especially not right now. He had been through this enough times to know when it wasn’t working out.

“I know you probably don’t want to hear it, so ill spare you the details. But believe me when I tell you I am not here to start that again. The Ominous Coffee Bean is gone, it crashed and burned before it could even get off the ground, I wouldn’t even know how to get access to that stuff again and, again, even if I did, I wouldn’t know how to make it, that was Icarus, testing out their fancy chemistry, nerd shit and it failed miserably. I spent my time getting sober and clean, just like the others and I am trying to do better, Kai, but I no matter what I do, no one will even give me the time of day – which is understandable I guess but” Centross took a breath, feeling like he was just wasting breath at this point. “I truly am just looking for a job, a fresh start. Bills can’t pay themselves and I can’t keep living out of my boyfriends’ pocket. He’ll deny it, but I can tell that I’m just weighing him down. He deserves better than that and I just want to at least help him”

Kai took in everything he had said and Centross could see her processing, it all. She’d look him up and down and down at her hand, then back to him, the gears in her head turning trying to decide her next move.

Centross knew what it would be. Fuck, he should have just left as soon as he learned she was Strawberris’ sister. Maybe he can try his luck elsewhere, surely there’s somewhere that his reputation hasn’t touched.

“Alright,” Kai simply said after a long moment of silence.

“Alight?” Centross repeated, waiting for her to add on.

“You will be working the floor and are also on washing duty. You’ll start with four days a week for a trail to see if you can handle it and to see if you’re a good fit here. After that time is up, we’ll see how you’re doing and that will determine if you can stay and maybe we’ll talk about you working the bar. How does that sound?” Kai listed her conditions firmly, leaving no room for negotiation, her eyes never leaving Centross a she spoke.

Centross stared back, not processing what was happening.

“Wait, you’re… You’re giving me the job?” he asked, almost like he didn’t trust what he had heard.

“I’m giving you a chance. Do not make me regret it” She warned.

Centross had to contain the smile that seemed to spread on his face, releasing a breath of relief as the weight on his chest lifted just little.

Holy shit, he fucking did it.

So for some context, Icarus, Centross and Easton tried to start a Barista place together called The Ominous Coffee Bean ("the name will get people curious about it") and Icarus tried to do their thing of infusing flowers into tea. Little did they know that Delosperma Cooperi can be toxic, like a bad drug or alcohol when extracted/infused. They told their business investor (they found online) about their new drink and and Centross received an email back encouraging them to keep selling it and they could use Strawberris flower business to get more of the flowers in.

They were eventually got investigated and they all got arrested for selling of narcotics and Strawberri got done for suppling.

Icarus made first bale, an anonymous pay to bale *and* hush money.

Kai had to come down from a couple towns over to bale Strawberri and Easton out and thankfully they were all given the bare minimum punishment due to bale + they didn't know the extremes of what they were actually selling and their investor couldn't be tracked.

All four did get put on a probation and Icraus, Centross and Easton had to attend clincs to get clean and to help go through withdrawal. Centross made bale late as Rae had to scrap together enough money and even ask his Uncle for help to get him out.

Icarus got hush money, Easton was seen as "the poor kid who didnt know any better" and Strawberri also left in the dark. Centross basically got the short end of the stick and his reputation wasnt good.

so as a lot of u know (about 50% of u at least) i have two main sonic ocs that i posted about a lot

Phantom (top) and Ghost (bottom)! these two were (and still are) very special to me especially phantom since she was the first oc i made when getting back into the fandom (plus she's self-shipped with Rouge... the thieves.... my ladies <3) and ghost is the persona i think i would have in the sonic universe ^-^ you can read more about them on their toyhou.se's! these two aren't related BUT im really proud of them regardless Nova is (obviously) based on my birds and the Riders games and my kind-of-hidden obsession over space. she got redesigned twice before i was happy with her design (the one im showing you), and tbh it was probably a good thing that i waited a year to do so LMFAO Roxanne was sort of a "oc im making for funsies but i got too invested" oc, and was meant to be in a trio band with two other bandmates (I've finished one so far, her name's Skylar and that right doodle went crazy on twitter when i first posted it)

ok so ill probably add to this slowly but time for some stats and answers and stuff! obviously dont check this out if you dont wanna be spoiled (thread)

first, here's the actual amounts of each results people have been getting:

when i say i had NO IDEA we'd get so many chuunis....watching the numbers go up the first few days felt like a fever dream haha

but its comforting to know that everyone is cringe and free! i for one welcome our new gothy overlords!

i was also really surprised that gimmick idols got some of the lowest scores 😭 the space that spans is so wide so i was expecting way more people to get that result since i figured it'd catch a lot of people, but i guess you guys are rare!

now its time to look at the archetype list:

this was pretty tricky, especially cause i was working on the quiz for funsies at silly o clock in the morning for two nights while i was dealing with some sickness induced exhaustion lol. i wanted to include more (a few like the princely type nearly made the cut), but I found there was

1. a lot of crossover between archetypes (this even happened with some of the idols i chose for the results image!!! hanayo being average idoltwt user AND a harapeko type or minori being average idoltwt user AND fake it til you make it for example)

2. some archetypes that were only based on visuals or not on personality at all

3. kind of lowkey paradoxical (eg. someone might really fit the princely type, but often in idol shows they make it so that trait is pushed on them, but they secretly wanted to be feminine all along, which like, ok but then if someone actually fits the princely vibe I'd be slightly struggling for examples and we'd get all tied in knots unfortunately)

4. the amount of answers was already getting so long that if i added any more it'd start getting difficult to come up with more answers for some of the more concrete questions (like what you'd do post graduation etc)

...so I had to kind of draw the line somewhere. especially cause i thought like 3 of my idoltwt mutuals would take it and that's it 😭 maybe I'll make a part 2 or a more extensive quiz later who knows (guess who just remembered the 'rock is life' type idols and screamed into a pillow for only just remembering...)

so the idol archetype categories themselves are DEFINITELY things I've picked up on in multiple series, altho they may require a lil bit of explaining so I'll quickly summarise each one when we go thru the characters. i should probably mention that some of these (like the chuunibyou) are word for word archetypes that people use all the time, while some were just me trying to put words to the character types so the wording was just a descriptor (fake it til you make it queen), altho i hope they were useful! ive seen a few people online using these terms after taking the quiz which is super cute...🙇 let's take a look at these categories shall we?

(note: i have varying levels of familiarity w these characters, i wanted to make it reasonably varied and recognisable but some of them i kind of just knew what category they fit and that's it)

THE CHUUNIBYOU

to those who don't know, the chuunibyou is a pretty popular archetype beyond just idols, and tends to refer to people who are stuck in or going through their 'edgy phase'; chuu-ni being short for second year of middle school syndrome (think like, 13 or 14 year olds), but the general vibe tends to be associated with emo or goth phases, claiming to have an evil eye, being or being a servant of Satan, hiding a secret shy or self conscious side with edge, yaknow. average tween behaviour. it's not limited by age tho especially in anime media! one of the examples i used is a 26 year old grown man with a job. never too late!

Like with a lot of the other categories it was really hard to narrow down the results page characters, but from left to right:

1. Todo Yurika from Aikatsu!

Yurika takes being a lifestyle lolita to the next level, being a gothic lolita and punk idol with the chuuni character of a vicious vampire, which she desperately tries to keep up as part of her career, only letting people see her quiet nerdy self once in a blue moon. She has a secret soft spot for garlic ramen and sings some of the best songs in the entire series (which is an achievement cause aikatsus songs are god tier).

2. Asselin BB II (Asselin Beelzebub the Second) from The Idolm@ster SideM!

Asselin is a genius chef in his mid-twenties that ended up on the streets being kicked from countless jobs because of his ....quirks. He's a chuuni through and through, and its something a lot of the people around him didn't know how to handle, but when he gets taken in by Cafe Parade (both an idol group AND a real life dining establishment) to be their chef, he finally finds a place where he belongs. He's goofy and crazy while simultaneously being an introverted and nervous personality, and claims to be a servant of Satan, which just happens to be an adorable plushie that he carries around for comfort and finds difficult to be without, who gets painstakingly dressed up in matching outfits whenever he's included in a card! Don't be fooled by his softness though, this servant of satan has PIPES. You may recognise his voice, as he's played by well-known seiyuu Furukawa Makoto.

3. Tsushima Yohane from Love Live Sunshine!!

Probably the most famous on the list so I'll keep it brief! She's been at this chuuni business since she was a little girl, so she encountered a lot of loneliness before joining Aqours, but she's got a cute and clumsy personality and has a tendency to yell about being a fallen angel. She's an absolute sweetheart, despite claiming that she's angered God himself, and is always there at the scene to deliver an edgy pose or stunning vocals.

I do the same but im trying to get back into better habits like journaling, like sometimes i just cant cry because ive bottled everything up for so long. So i very much urge ppl to cry when they can because its not a great feeling not being able to cry when you need to cry. Like even if its small, cry about it its fine. Its human to feel the full spectrum of emotion.

I forgot what voice i used for my character but i think it was some generic dude voice, i have been a little out of practice with my deeper voices though. But my voice is usually pretty deep anyway, i pitch my voice up a bit when im at work bc i dont want to scare the old timers too much. I hate to admit that my favorite voices to try to do are meatwad from aqua teen hunger force and stitch, theyre like the same voice to me 🤭 i do it for funsies, but in my teen years i did it a lot bc my friends gave me approval for it 🤭

Soo maybe i might budget to get my hands on those perfumes ☺️ i'd like to know what your favorite perfumes smelled like on first hand bases. This is a second best, best would be smelling it on your neck<3 theres a certain cologne i fell in love with years go that ive been trying to get my hands on, its polo red by ralph lauren it had smelled so wonderful to me.

Candles are a lot to take care of so i get it. I just have two main rules i follow for the life of my candle and the safety of my cats. Im the type of person where if i see soot in your candles i try to clean that out to lessen fire risk bc they can be dangerous, its something ppl never notice but thats ok i just want them to be safe. I used to play with the wax like that too!! It low key led to me trying to experiment a little with wax play which was interesting to say the least.

[Section The Immortal Guys (do you have any idea how little that narrows it down) the guys who i write over generations and dont really have an ending to their stories because theyre here to be immortal]:

Morty:

"vee why dont you have normal wish fulfillment ocs". eternally undead (vaguely ungulate) skeleton guy who is basically only here as an observer to the world around them since they have all the time in the world to do so now. their backstory is ultimately irrelevant, they tend to deflect questions about themself but its kinda more because they dont like to draw attention to themself as theyve kinda distanced themself from being A Person over the years. this doesnt really mean theyre distant though, theyre here to watch the sun rise and the stars shift and find new and interesting people at their door and listen to their stories and have them over for dinner. they keep adopting mortals and i wish theyd adopt me. they cant feel warmth or sleep or eat the food they make or whatever but as long as theyre able to provide that comfort for others its a fair trade for being given time to appreciate the world and everything in it. also their name is technically a lie since its supposed to be just short for That Immortal Who Doesnt Pay Property Tax but it always bugs me to call them an immortal without an asterisk next to it but also its got emotional significance now as much as id like to change it. also i hardblocked somebody one time for (somehow genuinely, despite me prefacing with "my oc") thinking i was talking about rick and morty. so warning for that.

Mack:

sliiightly less developed as he was made more as a character to go With Morty more than anything (also im tempted to change his name since its kinda lame. its short for an angel name i found on wikipedia but who caaaares). vaguely ungulate (goatlike probably) angel with killable-type immortality and infinite respawns but in different places and times every time. kiiinda fallen but like, my version of heaven doesnt really care, they let him dick around on earth because he's at least out of their hair there. unfortunately this gives him infinite hedonism, hubris and no consequences as he has absolutely no reason to have any self preservation since he's ultimately here for funsies and has nothing to lose. he's probably a war criminal. anyway this Does end up changing as he meets morty and Keeps Meeting Morty and realizes every time he respawns somewhere he ends up Going Back to morty and aw fuck he has something to lose (even if its just temporary it takes a Good While to get back and more importantly leaves morty alone) and shit. goddammit. this is kind of enough of a kick in the head enough to get him to have any sort of self preservation and also some self Value and value in life as a side effect. good all around. nowadays hes a lot less uh. Wild. he takes notes on different places and times' fashion trends so he can mix them together in absolutely Criminal looking outfits for fun.

he and morty have a Weirdromantic relationship going on where they definitely love each other, but the type of love is different for the both of them (mack is Definitely romantic after a while, morty's is likely platonic but they're also just affectionate by default and actually do enjoy being loved so it works out plenty since they have. So much time to communicate about it.) but more importantly they're like. each other's only static points in time. they always find each other and they always have new stories to tell each other when they return and theyll have all the time in the world to tell it. thumbsup. i like them. they rarely have stories to their own though and are more just. always supporting characters in other peoples. and thats fine to both of em

I should like. make a group intro to my ocs list or something so you guys can at least vaguely know what the fuck I'm talking about at any time. these guys don't have visual refs I understand it's probably hard to visualize who the hell I'm talking about. bonus that I've only really made a specialized Lore Post for like one character and it's kind of outdated. there's not going to be a test on this

jj had never been my favorite. i think she could’ve been cool? maybe?? idk like she’s the only one on the team with blue eyes so thats already a red flag. then as soon as she becomes a mom, they make that her entire personality--suddenly identifying with and empathizing with mothers that... i guess she didnt?? before?? like now for some reason she’s able to understand what they’re going through as if she was just pretending to care before and didn’t really give a shit. she has suuuuch white centrist pro-life energy. but i decided i full on hated her in the episode in season 10: the itch

essentially the premise is that a bunch of people have various mental illness that makes them feel real or imagined pain, and from that come nightmarish delusions like bugs crawling in their skin. a lot of these are so horrible that people will self harm, either willingly or subconsciously. the unsub obviously takes this way too far and starts killing people, etc, but he makes a friend: someone who doesn’t know about the murders and killings but who identifies with his suffering and paranoia and they bond over showing their scars from self harm. it’s clearly an extremely emotional vulnerable moment for her and she’s spent her whole life embarrassed by her condition.

so eventually they find and interrogate this girl (again: she has no idea about the murders). she refuses to talk, so jj and kate take a different approach. they know that the closer to the truth they get, she’ll grow more uncomfortable, and the more uncomfortable she gets, she’ll scratch herself. they force this woman, who’s been manipulated by the unsub to further distrust the government, into self harming--something we see has been a lifelong issue and source of shame. and they take advantage of it. and they laugh about it.

after the whole ordeal and they find the guy save the victim etc etc jj is dropping off the girl. and she has the audacity to be mad when the girl isn’t thanking them for it. this girl was already wary of the government and instead of trying to gain her trust or explain things to her, they instantly resort to exploiting her mental illness and rely on her hurting herself to get what they need out of her. the girl feels rightfully exploited and violated, definitely traumatized by being put in that situation. criminal minds has always been a #copaganda show so its easy for viewers to forget how genuinely frightening and outright dangerous being forcefully detained by law enforcement can be. and jj is mad enough to get out of the car and follow her to her door and essentially demand gratitude.

and these characters aren’t perfect and the writers aren’t perfect and we really could just chalk it up to being a bad criminal minds moment. but hotch, in that same episode dealing with someone who has a similar mental illness with similar levels of paranoia, is able to communicate with that person without forcing her to harm herself. instead he takes the opposite approach and give her something he knows soothes it. so it’s not just a case of “whoops guess the writers blew it on this one” because they did just fine with it earlier. and for some reason jj’s upset that this girl was traumatized by how they took advantage of her. this whole show that’s supposedly about empathy and understand different kinds of mental illness and jj’s just like “okay but you should know better.” 

i can’t remember what episode this is, but the episode where the 911 operator is kidnapping children and killing their mothers? there’s a mom struggling with severe depression and suicidal thoughts. when she’s going through an extreme suicidal episode, she drops her son off at her mother’s so he doesn’t have to witness any of it: she’s trying to protect him. and again, copaganda show, but they usually do a pretty good job of empathizing with the parent and assuaging their guilt: “it’s not your fault” “you couldn’t have known this was going to happen” “nothing you could’ve done would’ve changed the unsub’s desire to take a child” etc. but instead of showing any of that empathy, even as they’re discussing the case on the plane, jj immediately victim blames her. “how could she just leave her child like that? i’d never do that” and calls her a bad mother. which i mean sure she’s probably not number one mom on the planet but she has a severe mental illness and we see derek and spencer explore the house later and realize that, despite her depression, she keeps the house easy for a child to navigate independently. she obviously loves her son very much and, as we explicitly hear throughout the episode, the kid loves his mom too, even if he’s concerned for her safety. he has no illusions: he knows his mom is depressed and he knows she goes through hard periods and instead of resenting her, he just wants to be there for her and keep her from hurting herself. despite her illness she provides for him and supports him and makes sure she has happy memories no matter how she feels about herself.

when jj is talking with her (to be fair: doing her job and trying to see if she had anything to do with her child’s disappearance), she has such “I’m an Empath” moments. the mom, only thinking of getting her child back and being extremely cooperative and explaining what exactly happened that day, says she was having one of her bad days and just wasn’t capable of taking every step to insure the child’s safety: dropping him off was something she’d done before, the child knows the drill by now, she has no reason to believe he wasn’t capable of going inside grandma’s house on his own. (in fact the only reason he didn’t was because he trusted the man who took him: it didn’t matter if the grandma knew he was coming or not, the guy was going to get him anyway) but jj, empath extraordinaire, says “i understand these bad days that you have, i really do” despite clearly not understanding the severity of the mom’s illness. it was genuinely all she could do to drop him off and protect him in the only way she knew how. and jj’s thrown for a loop when the mom rolls back her sleeves and shows the multiple self harm scars. jj still doesn’t understand and still blames her for her child being taken, something that they almost never do on this show. i’m hard pressed to think of another time they ever do that.

but you know who also doesn’t like the mom and thinks the child would be better off without her? the unsub who kills her. not a peep from jj on that one.

to be fair both of these topics are extremely personal to me, because of my own expriences with self harm and depression and suicide, and my family history of the illnesses referenced that jj belittles. so i may be biased and more offended than i should be, but i’m still justified bc jj’s still clearly in the wrong

both of these are cases of jj disregarding, exploiting, or mocking mental illness. ableism, put bluntly. so rewatching the show (as i’ve done many times over :^)) and bearing that in mind, it’s suddenly easy to see the ways she’s behaved similarly throughout the show. she’s always the first one to make fun of spencer. and even though morgan is just as willing to joke around, morgan also makes it clear that he’s messing around. when spencer seems hurt by something, morgan goes “i’m just playin” and talks it out with him. jj just shuts him down or cuts him off and has no trouble telling everyone they interact with just how annoying he is, even when that person is genuinely interested in what he’s saying. and a lot of these instances are played off as hashtag girlboss moments but its at spencer’s expense every time.

it’s not just that either. she’s insensitive across the board. she will be IN THE ROOM with spencer/derek/hotch and say something like “i guess we all turn out like our fathers in the end” or “the abuse is always cyclical and there’s no escape”. she knows about their issues with their fathers/father figures (or in hotch’s case, what’s been implied that she apparently hasn’t picked up on) and will still repeat common insecurities and lifelong concerns abuse victims have about becoming their abuser. she repeats these misconceptions even when she’s supposed to be a profiler and should know better by now.

jj had potential. she really really did. but they absolutely butchered her character and while also making her suuuuper disrespectful to everyone else. they really love their white feminism girlboss moments on this show (elle and emily are not immune from this) but while elle’s moments are about supporting women and defending herself, and emily’s moments are about embracing her sexuality and quipping at men (again--these aren’t great in context either), jj’s is about identifying with toxic masculinity and making fun of neurodivergence.

jj as a character had potential. she really did. but they kept flip flopping on who her character was. when she became a mom she was a completely different person. when she came back in season 7 she wanted to be a profiler, despite her saying she would never want to do that in earlier seasons. she doesn’t have a personality because they give her a new one every couple seasons, so she’s difficult to identify with outside of her white feminist moments and ableism.

there were so many moments that they could’ve expanded on. like how the episodes about her romantic life are frequently linked with their “gay” episodes and how she always seems especially invested in cases involving violent homophobia. it would’ve been so so interesting if in “in heat” she would’ve come out as lesbian (something i always think they should’ve done!! especially when they have will explicitly say he would be understanding if something like that happened). so at this point i just think she’s a lesbian who grew up with such traditional moral values that she cannot shake so she just stays so deep in the closet that she won’t even admit it to herself. that makes her character so much more interesting to me and i have a lot of thoughts on ways she’s projected that onto her female friends who she kinda falls in love with--the closeted lesbian experienceTM. but i really can’t just ignore all the undeniable ableism: it’s so deeply ingrained in her character--one of the few traits that lasts all show for her.

i’m sure there are more things that i’ve left out and i’m sure @t4thotchniss can help me out because we’ve been talking about this for years but this is already so long i’m not gonna try to think of the rest of it. yeah jj just has those white feminist pinterest mom vibes. honestly it’s almost enough for me to stop watching the show, and episodes with her as the focus are always ones i skip on my rewatch because i just can’t stand her. her only saving grace is that she’s hot

so i like music right?

like everyone likes music totally lol

but i was getting annoyed that 1) my phone doesnt have space since im constantly in gacha hell and 2) playing music kills the phone battery esp when im out like walking or traveling and stuff

and, obviously im not doing this stuff now since im back home and covid is a thing and all, but when i did travel, it was usually alone. plus since my college was in the city + my internship was in the city, so i was traveling alone by bus (bc no drivers license and/or car) + i think a guy attempted to mug me once and also i think i was like followed or something once or twice during the frickin afternoon in broad daylight in the city while traveling for my internship and stuff???????????

like. a phone with a low battery or a dead phone is uhhhhhh. not good.

anyways i decided to suck it up and spend $40 on this 3rd party chinese mp3 the mibao which got listed consistently on a bunch of “top mp3 players for 2020/2021″ kind of lists for like. amateur audiophiles. lol.

honestly i was like seconds away from buying this other one but i didnt last second because it doesnt show lyrics which is gross bc i love reading lyrics (its also the hoh stuff lol)

anyways ive fallen down the rabbit hole of amateur audiophiles/regressing back to having an mp3 player (altho ive actually always had one since like the 2nd grade but i cant find it?? (i swear its in my room somewhere (ipod nano 4th gen plz return to my hand even tho youre like 10+ years old and also your battery lasts for like 5 minutes before dying bc ive loved/used you too much lol))) / converting m4a to mp3 / syncing lyrics bc m4a doesnt play well with 3rd party mp3 players and the lyrics were never synced anyways lololol.

so im using minilyrics and like i decided to make an account for their connected site https://www.viewlyrics.com/ so i could upload lyrics/.txt/.LRC files and timestamps for funsies (and to be polite or whatever. internet manners sharing and all) but when i go on there its totally blank? lol, idk why tho. esp since when i played popular songs that people have already made and uploaded lyrics for, they showed up??? like is the site itself dead or blank but the actual site’s data on some server out there that automatically shares/is active??? or something????

man. one of the songs i tested out to see if lyrics were already made were the sore feet song, which someone already made bc it was the opening song of mushishi. like. ok, that anime’s from, what? 2002? 2005? sure it sounds like the website could’ve been active back then, sure.

but then the second song i tested was the tokyo ghoul theme song kisetsu wa tsugitsugi shindeiku and like. someone actually uploaded lyrics?? they automatically came to me??? that anime came out like idk 2015-2016 or something right? was the site up back then? or is the site just blank and badly working for me??????????

Activities:

7:30am- Headache. Anxiety.

7:41am- Research how much Lara Bars cost online at Ralph’s. I don’t now why $16 for 16 bars seemed so shocking, they would each be $1 which; if I remember correctly, is cheaper than Trader Joe’s retail price. Also, it’s been so long since I’ve been to Trader Joe’s I can’t even remember if they even sell them there, maybe I’m thinking of Target.

11am- Breakfast. Coffee & Toast. Anxiety. Reruns of ‘The Medium’. I’m very confused/intrigued by this show.

~The rest of the afternoon: call The Gap’s customer service number and try to cancel my delayed order (busy, held for 33 min, hung up). Followed by profuse scrolling on Target online until now (3:49pm). Followed by more anxiety..a little panic..a lot of sweating..daily floor sitting/staring at the carpet..and partial consumption of a somewhat not-tasty fruit smoothie.

~Also, this doesn’t matter, but I’m still in pajamas. And they are non-flattering man-pajamas. My tie-dye leggings finally arrived from Walmart, and they actually fit..but they smell kinda funny, and I’m not in the mood to do anything, much less put on cute tie-dye leggings.

Also, I miss places. I’d say I miss the peoples too..but I don’t really. At least not  the ones I know. Because (among other ill-mannered things) they don’t respond to texts/emails in the middle of a pandemic when you reach out to them to see if they are OK. And/or they make lunch plans with you (me), and forget to show up (or call) at the restaurant (even though you confirmed the night before). And/or they make you sit in the backseat of their car because they don’t like (4lb) dogs. But...I do miss all the decent people I would see/meet when I would go out to stores, etc., and I hope they are alright (*hope all the other/sans manners peoples are alright too). Also, I miss all the dogs.
