How I grew my hair to hip length
I think I'm at a point in my hair journey where I'm pretty close to archiving "perfect hair", so if you're looking for some tips, you've come to the right person. <3
My Routine:
I wash my hair every two days. I have straight brunette hair, so it's pretty obvious when it starts to get oily, but I've learned that training your scalp is BS, so just wash it when you feel like it's necessary!!
Hair oiling. I use Amla Oil once a week; I apply it to my scalp and massage it throughout my hair. I only oil once a week because I have to double cleanse my hair after each time, and it's annoying lol
Olaplex. Olaplex was a game-changer for me; I listed my products down below!! Only use Olaplaex when your hair feels dry or damaged tho!!
Protective hairstyles for the night. I ALWAYS sleep with two Dutch braids, I've tried my hairstyles, and this one has been my favourite!!
I don't use heat. The only thing I do is blow-dry my hair when it's already like 80% dry!! Letting your hair air dry completely can make it oily. :)
Trimming your ends. I Trim my hair every 3 months by myself. Invest in a good pair of haircutting scissors; it's so worth it!!
Products I use:
Lush. I've tried many things, but the 'Fairly traded honey' shampoo and the 'American Cream' conditioner are my all-time favourites!!
Olaplex. Nº.6 Bond Smoother 1x every week, Nº.7 Bonding Oil 1x every two weeks, Nº.4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo 1x every 4-6 weeks.
Moroccan oil. Moroccanoil Treatment Light like 1-2x a week.
Other stuff I use: tangle teezer wet detangler, silk scrunchies, Dyson Blowdryer, silk pillowcase.
Simple Do's and Don'ts:
Eat more protein
Take collagen subelements
Try overnight hairstyles like 'overnight curls' to avoid using heat
Don't dye or bleach your hair
Don't use heat or styling tools
Never sleep with wet or damp hair
Some more secrets and weird stuff:
When I'm bored I trim my split ends one by one lol don't ask
I would rather eat rat poison than use a curling iron or cheap shampoo
If I have to sleep without my silk pillowcase I will definitely cry
I'm terrified of regular hair ties
braid your hair when it's windy and you have to leave the house!!
Brush and braid your hair with good intentions… again… DON'T ASK!! >:(
As always, please feel free to share your own suggestions, glow-up tips and further questions in the comments! <3

what shampoo or hair products do u use?
Hey anon!
So, first of all I need to preface this by saying I'm not sure how helpful this is going to be to you in particular because my hair is dyed blonde (I too have fallen victim the unhinged bleaching persuasion rip scalp) so a lot of the products I use are for colored hair specifically but I will try to group it all together for you
Specifically for dyed hair I mostly use products from the Schwarzkopf BlondMe Care series (once every 10 days as per my hairdresser's recommendations) and in particular the detox shampoo + light mask the neutralizing shampoo with the purple toner the conditioner and the restoring balm and sometimes I alternate them with the medavita ice blond enhancing shampoo and the shampoo and mask from the schwarzkopf bonacure color freeze series.
From general products for broader hair types -here's the thing: I had an entire paragraph typed up here for you but I did some google searching before hitting post because I do not want to be that one irresponsible person that promotes things that have potentially harmful substances inside - and some of these products do have silicone in them so I am not deleting this but feel free to ignore this/disregard it/don't read/proceed with caution etc however it suits your needs
my favorite shampoos +conditioner combos are from herbal essences (I am very sensitive to smell and all of them smell so good especially the white grapefruit and mango ones), once every now and then I also like to use the head n shoulders citrus anti dandruff shampoo (on the one hand it leaves my scalp tingling but on the other it leaves my scalp tingling) and generally I have found pantene pro v classic clean to be nice to fall back on because it keeps my hair surprisingly non oily for quite a while. On the higher price end I also use the moroccanoil treatment + conditioner and the Kerastase nutritive shampoo but I have heard these might be a bit too heavy if you have thinner hair so putting that caution out there
Again it might be a bit too heavy for thinner hair but after much and arduous search the most effective thing that has saved my hair from tangling like an evil wicked witch's unholy forest is the L'Oreal Elvive Dream Long restorative mask I owe this baby my life
and last but not least my absolute favorite oil in the world the bumble and bumble invisible oil primer which stays on the hair nicely and makes it feel like silk without weighing it down but shoutout to the l'oreal elvive extraordinary oil (for colored hair) and the lorvenn argan exotic oil which I use in the summer for uv protection
#i might have forgotten something but this is pretty much it i think#anyway don't forget to rotate/alternate your products that different hair types need completely different care and to stay safe!#my hair is on the thicker side and very long and it tends to get dry and damaged so this is the kind of product I'm aiming for#have a nice day anon!#📧.txt

In the quest for a flake-free scalp and lustrous locks, finding the right dandruff shampoo for natural hair is essential. With a myriad of options on the market, it can be overwhelming to choose the best one for your hair type and concerns. This article highlights the top shampoos that not only tackle dandruff but also cater to the unique needs of natural hair, ensuring your mane remains healthy and vibrant. Key Takeaways 4U By Tia The Clarifying Shampoo offers an affordable and effective solution for overall dandruff care in natural hair. Bumble and Bumble Sunday Clarifying Shampoo is ideal for oily scalps, with activated charcoal playing a key role in dandruff control. OUAI Detox Shampoo provides intense moisture and cleansing for dry scalps, with apple cider vinegar and keratin enhancing hair health. Moroccanoil Clarifying Shampoo is a top choice for thick hair, deeply cleansing while maintaining scalp health and hair volume. Rahua Scalp Exfoliating Shampoo stands out as the best exfoliating option, combining botanical ingredients for superior dandruff treatment. Best Overall Dandruff Shampoo for Natural Hair 4U By Tia The Clarifying Shampoo: Affordable and Effective I've recently discovered the 4U By Tia The Clarifying Shampoo, and I must say, it's quite the find for anyone with natural hair looking for an affordable dandruff solution. Priced at just $10, this shampoo is not only budget-friendly but also packed with ingredients that cater to the needs of natural hair. The key to its effectiveness lies in the apple cider vinegar content, which is known to remove product buildup while preserving the scalp's natural oils. Additionally, the sea moss extract enriches the hair with moisture and antioxidants, making it a nourishing choice for those of us seeking to maintain healthy, hydrated locks. The gel-like texture and the warm amber and vanilla fragrance transform the shower experience into something quite luxurious, which is a pleasant bonus. Here's a quick rundown of what makes this shampoo stand out: Affordable price point: At $10, it's a steal. Apple cider vinegar: Helps clear the scalp of dandruff and stimulates hair follicles. Sea moss extract: Provides moisture and fortifies strands. Founded by Tia Mowry, whose own hair is a testament to effective care, this shampoo is a testament to the fact that high quality doesn't always come with a high price tag. Key Ingredients and Benefits for Natural Hair When it comes to maintaining natural hair, the key ingredients in your shampoo can make all the difference. Apple cider vinegar is a standout component, known for its ability to balance the scalp's pH and enhance shine. Sea moss extract is another powerful ingredient, offering a wealth of minerals that nourish the scalp and hair follicles. Argan oil, avocado oil, and jojoba extract are a trio that works wonders for thick, coarse hair. These oils are rich in vitamins and fatty acids, which help to moisturize and strengthen hair strands from within. For those with thin or fine hair, activated charcoal and salicylic acid are excellent for absorbing excess oil and gently exfoliating the scalp, promoting a healthier hair growth environment. While exploring natural remedies like tea tree oil or aloe vera can be beneficial, it's essential to find a shampoo with the right ingredients that cater to your hair type and concerns. Lastly, ingredients like Rahua and star anise boost circulation, which is crucial for a healthy scalp, while passionfruit adds a burst of hydration, leaving hair soft and manageable. User Reviews and Testimonials After trying numerous products, I've finally settled on one that stands out for its effectiveness and affordability. The consensus among users is clear: this shampoo delivers results. Many have reported a significant reduction in flakiness and an overall improvement in scalp health. Soothing: Users often mention the immediate relief from itchiness. Nourishing: There's a noticeable difference in hair texture, with many praising the shampoo's moisturizing properties.
Hydrating: Even those with coily hair find the shampoo to be hydrating without weighing down their natural curls. The beauty of this shampoo lies in its ability to cater to a diverse range of hair types while tackling dandruff effectively. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many users becoming repeat customers. The shampoo's ability to soothe, nourish, and hydrate has made it a staple in the fight against dandruff for those with natural hair. Top Shampoo for Oily Scalps and Dandruff Control Bumble and Bumble Sunday Clarifying Shampoo: Combatting Oiliness I've found that the Bumble and Bumble Sunday Clarifying Shampoo stands out for its ability to tackle oily hair. Its formula is designed to give the scalp a thorough cleanse, removing not just excess oil but also product buildup and pollutants. The result is a full hair reset that prepares you for the week ahead. The key ingredients, such as ginseng root and rosemary leaf extract, contribute to its anti-inflammatory and scalp-stimulating properties. Additionally, sage leaf extract plays a crucial role in the clarifying process. Here's a quick rundown of why this shampoo is a top pick for oily hair: Ginseng root: Reduces inflammation and aids in scalp health. Rosemary leaf: Stimulates the scalp and promotes hair growth. Sage leaf: Clarifies the scalp and removes impurities. While this shampoo is particularly effective for oily hair, it's also a great choice for anyone looking to refresh their hair care routine with a deep cleanse. It's not just about removing oil; it's about resetting your hair's natural balance. The Role of Activated Charcoal in Fighting Dandruff I've always been intrigued by the multifaceted benefits of activated charcoal in skincare, but its role in hair care, particularly for dandruff control, is equally impressive. Activated charcoal absorbs impurities significantly, making it a potent ingredient for scalp detox. It's fascinating to learn that it can absorb 100 to 200 times its weight in impurities, which is a testament to its effectiveness. When I came across a shampoo that touted activated charcoal as a key ingredient, I was eager to try it. The results were noticeable; my scalp felt cleaner, and the usual flakiness was reduced. Here's a quick rundown of why activated charcoal is beneficial for those with oily scalps and dandruff issues: It deep-cleans the scalp, removing buildup and excess oil. The detoxifying properties help to clear clogged roots, promoting healthier hair growth. It works well for all hair types, addressing dandruff without being harsh. The ability of activated charcoal to not only cleanse but also improve hair growth is a game-changer for me. It's a relief to find a solution that doesn't strip my hair of moisture while tackling the dandruff problem head-on. I've noticed that many shampoos now include activated charcoal, often paired with other cleansing agents like salicylic acid or magnetic polymers. This combination seems to enhance the clarifying effect, leaving the scalp feeling refreshed and revitalized. Expert Opinions and Dermatologist Recommendations In my quest to understand the efficacy of Bumble and Bumble Sunday Clarifying Shampoo, I sought the opinions of dermatologists and hair care experts. They emphasized the importance of using a shampoo that not only combats oiliness but also maintains the health of the scalp. The consensus among professionals is that a clarifying shampoo should be part of a regular hair care routine, especially for those with oily scalps prone to dandruff. Here's a summary of their recommendations: Choose a shampoo with targeted ingredients like activated charcoal. Use clarifying shampoos sparingly to avoid stripping hair of natural oils. Follow up with a conditioner to replenish moisture. According to a recent article, Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is highly regarded for its effectiveness, which suggests that the right ingredients can make a significant difference in dandruff control.

Its unique formula, which includes apple cider vinegar, effectively removes oil, dirt, and product buildup. The best part is that it achieves this without stripping the scalp or hair, ensuring that your hair remains hydrated and frizz-free thanks to the added keratin. The dual-action of cleansing and conditioning in one step is not just convenient but also essential for maintaining healthy hair. Here's a quick rundown of the key ingredients and their benefits: Apple Cider Vinegar: Cleanses excess oil and buildup Keratin: Addresses dryness and frizz AHAs & Citrus Extract: Promote a healthy scalp environment This shampoo is not only a personal favorite but also comes with accolades, having won a 2022 Best of Beauty Award. It's suitable for all hair types, but especially beneficial for curly and coily hair, providing a thorough cleanse that's necessary after protective styling. Remember to follow up with a conditioner or hair masque to keep your curls well-hydrated. Apple Cider Vinegar and Keratin: A Dual Approach I've discovered that the combination of apple cider vinegar and keratin in shampoos can be a game-changer for natural hair. Apple cider vinegar, known for its detoxifying properties, works wonders in removing buildup without stripping the scalp or hair. Meanwhile, keratin steps in to tackle dryness and frizz, promoting a smoother, shinier appearance. The dual action of these ingredients caters to a variety of hair types, including those with curly and coily textures. It's not just about cleansing; it's about maintaining the hair's natural balance and enhancing its overall health. The beauty of this blend lies in its versatility. Whether you have fine, thin hair or a mane that's prone to buildup, the apple cider vinegar and keratin duo adapts to your hair's unique needs. Here's a quick look at the benefits: Detoxifies the scalp Reduces frizz and dryness Leaves hair feeling softer Enhances shine It's clear that this combination is not just a trend; it's a thoughtful approach to hair care that resonates with many. As someone who values the integrity of natural hair, I'm always on the lookout for products that deliver on their promises without compromising hair health. Customer Satisfaction and Brand Reputation When it comes to customer satisfaction, the OUAI Detox Shampoo has garnered a loyal following. The inclusion of nourishing ingredients like apple cider vinegar and keratin has been a game-changer for many. The brand's reputation is built on delivering high-quality products that cater to the specific needs of natural hair. Their commitment to using premium ingredients that promote hair health is evident in the positive feedback from users who appreciate the dual benefits of hydration and cleansing. The consistent praise for the shampoo's performance and the brand's dedication to hair care excellence speaks volumes about their standing in the beauty industry. While individual experiences may vary, the overall sentiment is that this shampoo stands out as a top choice for those with natural hair seeking to combat dandruff while maintaining moisture. Top Picks for Thick Hair Prone to Dandruff Moroccanoil Clarifying Shampoo: Deep Cleansing for Thick Hair I've discovered that the Moroccanoil Clarifying Shampoo is a game-changer for those with thick hair. Its deep-cleansing ability effectively removes everyday buildup, restoring hair and scalp to a healthy balance. The inclusion of nourishing argan and avocado oils ensures that the cleansing process isn't too harsh on your hair. The shampoo's denser texture is particularly suited for thick hair types, providing much-needed dryness control without weighing down the hair.
Here's a quick rundown of the key ingredients and their benefits: Argan oil: Hydrates and softens hair Avocado oil: Enhances moisture and strength Jojoba extract: Improves hair shine and elasticity Hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew recommends this shampoo for its ability to maintain a healthy hair and scalp balance. While it's ideal for thick, coarse, and long hair, those with finer hair might find it too heavy. It's a top pick for anyone in need of a thorough cleanse without stripping away natural oils. How to Address Scalp Health and Hair Volume When it comes to maintaining a healthy scalp and voluminous hair, it's essential to understand that the two go hand in hand. A well-nourished scalp is the foundation for strong, thick hair. I've learned that incorporating a nutritious diet is crucial; foods rich in protein, antioxidants, iron, and fatty acids support hair growth and scalp health. Here's a simple list to keep in mind for scalp care: Regularly cleanse to remove buildup Use targeted treatments for your scalp type Gently massage to boost circulation Avoid harsh chemicals that can strip natural oils Remember, a balanced approach to scalp care can prevent dandruff and promote hair volume. For those with thick hair, finding the right shampoo that cleanses without stripping away essential moisture is key. I've discovered that shampoos with ingredients like activated charcoal and salicylic acid can be particularly effective for oily scalps, while formulas containing hydrating agents like keratin are better suited for dry scalps. Stylist Endorsements and User Experiences In my quest to find the perfect dandruff solution for thick hair, I've come across the Moroccanoil Clarifying Shampoo, which has garnered high praise from both stylists and users alike. Stylists commend its ability to deeply cleanse without stripping hair of its natural oils, ensuring that even the thickest of manes remain manageable and healthy-looking. User experiences echo this sentiment, with many reporting a noticeable reduction in flakiness and an improvement in scalp health. Here's a snapshot of what users are saying: Deeply cleanses the scalp Leaves hair feeling soft and refreshed Helps reduce visible flakes after just a few uses While personal experiences may vary, the consensus is clear: this shampoo stands out for its effectiveness on thick, dandruff-prone hair. The combination of positive stylist endorsements and user testimonials makes it a top pick in its category. Best Exfoliating Shampoo for a Flaky Scalp Rahua Scalp Exfoliating Shampoo: Botanical Richness I've discovered that the Rahua Scalp Exfoliating Shampoo is more than just a cleanser; it's a sensory experience that combines the benefits of a scalp scrub with a clarifying shampoo. The unique blend of ingredients, including the aromatic crushed Star Anise, provides a gentle yet effective exfoliation, while the superfruit enzymes from Organic Mango and Passion Fruit offer a refreshing cleanse. The botanical richness of this shampoo is evident in its composition. Rahua oil, known for its hair strengthening properties, is complemented by the antimicrobial qualities of Star Anise and the nourishing effects of Passion Fruit and Mango sugars. For those of us with a keen interest in the specifics, here's a breakdown of the key ingredients: Rahua: Strengthens damaged hair strands Star Anise: Antimicrobial, provides gentle exfoliation Passion Fruit: Rich in Vitamin C Mango Sugars: Hydrating and nourishing This shampoo is suitable for all hair types, but it's particularly beneficial for those with oily scalps and fine hair. The combination of these ingredients not only cleanses and exfoliates but also adds shine and boosts circulation when rinsed with cool water. The Importance of Scalp Exfoliation in Dandruff Treatment I've come to understand that regular scalp exfoliation is crucial for maintaining a healthy scalp and managing dandruff. Exfoliating the scalp with natural
ingredients can help control dandruff by removing dead skin cells and reducing the buildup of flakes. This process not only helps in minimizing the appearance of dandruff but also promotes healthier hair growth. By incorporating scalp exfoliation into my hair care routine, I've noticed a significant reduction in flakiness and an overall improvement in scalp health. Here are some benefits of scalp exfoliation for dandruff treatment: Enhances the effectiveness of other hair care products by removing buildup Stimulates blood circulation, which can aid in hair growth Helps to prevent hair follicles from becoming clogged, which can reduce hair thinning It's important to choose the right exfoliating shampoo that suits your hair type and addresses your specific scalp concerns. For instance, those with oily scalps might benefit from shampoos containing activated charcoal, while others might find formulas with salicylic acid more effective. Comparative Analysis with Other Exfoliating Shampoos In my quest to find the best exfoliating shampoo, I've compared Rahua's offering to several others on the market. Rahua stands out for its botanical richness, which is a significant factor in its effectiveness. The combination of activated charcoal and salicylic acid in some competitors, like the K18's Peptide Prep Clarifying Detox Shampoo, targets oil absorption and exfoliation, but Rahua's use of natural ingredients offers a gentler approach for those with sensitive scalps. While many shampoos promise deep cleansing, Rahua's exfoliating shampoo delivers a unique experience. Its blend of natural ingredients not only purifies the scalp but also nurtures hair health. Here's a quick comparison of key ingredients found in popular exfoliating shampoos: Rahua Scalp Exfoliating Shampoo: Rahua oil, botanical extracts K18's Peptide Prep Clarifying Detox Shampoo: Plant-derived surfactants, K18Peptide Other clarifying shampoos: Activated charcoal, salicylic acid, peptides Each product has its merits, but Rahua's commitment to natural ingredients may be the deciding factor for those seeking a more holistic approach to scalp health. ConclusionIn the quest for the perfect dandruff shampoo for natural hair, we've explored a variety of options tailored to different needs and hair types. From the deep-cleansing abilities of charcoal-infused formulas to the nourishing properties of shampoos enriched with natural extracts, there is a solution for everyone. Whether you're dealing with dry scalp, oiliness, or simply seeking to remove product buildup, the shampoos highlighted in this article offer a blend of clarifying and conditioning benefits. It's important to choose a shampoo that not only addresses dandruff but also respects the unique characteristics of natural hair. Dry hair can result from various factors, including excessive heat styling, environmental damage, chemical treatments, or simply your hair’s natural texture. Regardless of the cause, finding a shampoo that provides deep hydration is key to restoring moisture and vitality to your tresses.
Qualities of the Best Hydrating Shampoos
1.Rich in Moisturizing Ingredients: Look for shampoos that contain moisturizing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, aloe vera, and natural oils (such as argan oil, coconut oil, or avocado oil). These ingredients help replenish and lock in moisture.
2.Sulfate-Free Formulas: Sulfates, found in many commercial shampoos, can strip your hair of its natural oils, leading to dryness. Opt for sulfate-free shampoos that cleanse gently without causing excessive dryness.
3.pH-Balanced: A pH-balanced shampoo helps maintain the natural pH of your hair and scalp, preventing excessive dryness or oiliness. It keeps your hair cuticles smooth and manageable.
4.Protein Enriched: Protein-infused shampoos, with ingredients like keratin or silk amino acids, can strengthen your hair and prevent breakage, which is especially important for dry, brittle hair.
5.Free from Harmful Chemicals: Avoid shampoos containing harsh chemicals like parabens and phthalates, as these can further dry out your hair and may be harmful in the long run.
Best Shampoos for Hydrating Your Hair: Now, let’s explore some of the top shampoos renowned for their hydrating qualities:
1.Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo: This budget-friendly option boasts a rich formula infused with pro-vitamins and antioxidants to nourish and hydrate your hair.
2.Moroccanoil Hydrating Shampoo: Formulated with argan oil, this luxurious shampoo is perfect for revitalizing dry, damaged hair, leaving it soft and shiny.
3.SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo: Ideal for those with curly or textured hair, this shampoo combines shea butter and argan oil to provide deep hydration and improve elasticity.
4.Aveda Sap Moss Weightless Hydration Shampoo: Aveda’s plant-based formula is known for its lightweight hydration, perfect for those with fine hair who don’t want to weigh it down.
5.Olaplex №4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo: This salon-quality shampoo repairs and hydrates, making it a favorite among those who have chemically treated or damaged hair.
When it comes to achieving lustrous, hydrated hair, selecting the right shampoo is crucial. The best shampoos for hydration are those that contain nourishing ingredients, are free from harmful chemicals, and are tailored to your specific hair type and needs. Experiment with different products to find the one that works best for you, and remember that consistency in your hair care routine is key to achieving and maintaining that enviable hydration and shine. Say goodbye to dry, lackluster hair and hello to a head full of radiant, healthy locks!

16 Best Hairsprays For Fine And Thin Hair That Provide Strong Hold
16 Best Hairsprays For Fine And Thin Hair That Provide Strong Hold Pooja Karkala Hyderabd040-395603080 December 31, 2019
You may be blessed with fine, silky, and frizz-free hair, but you probably still want volume. You are not alone. Having fine hair is not all that bad; it just means that the diameter of each strand is lesser than that of a thick strand. This makes your hair fall flat and your scalp turn greasy by the end of the day. This is where hair spray comes into the picture. Why hairspray? Let me break it down for you. Hairsprays can make fine strands appear fuller by adding texture to them. This fluffs up the strands and makes them appear voluminous.

Winter Hair Woes Solved
Temperatures may still feel temperate, but that slight chill in the air means that winter is quickly invading. While summer heat brings it own set of hair woes, the struggle is just as real (if not even more so!) in the colder months.
Luckily, building an arsenal of survival products means that you, too, can have Pantene commercial-worthy hair regardless of season.
Here are the products that’ll get our hair through wretched winter:
1. Moroccanoil Dry Scalp Treatment ($38): Dry, itchy scalps can not only be difficult to treat, but oftentimes rather unpleasant. This is one of the most luxe and effective options we’ve encountered. For maximum results, apply it before bed and rinse it out in the morning.
2. Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast ($29): To quickly fix a bad case of hat head, give your mane several blasts of this spray and turn your head upside down to shake everything out. In under a minute, your hat head will be a thing of the past.
3. Bumble and Bumble Repair Blow Dry ($31): Dead ends look that much more apparent on dried-out winter hair, so rely on this serum-cream to seal them while also protecting against further heat damage.
4. Evo The Great Hydrator Moisture Mask ($25): Thanks to argan oil and glycerin, this mask imparts a serious surge of hydration on even the most dehydrated locks. While the recommended application time is three to five minutes, we find at least 20 is ideal.
5. Aquis Microfiber Hair Towel ($21): If you’re still using your bath towel to dry your hair after a shower…girl, you’re doing it wrong. Great hair begins with great prep, and a microfiber towel is the most effective and gentle way to wring water out. Bonus: it cuts down on frizz and flyaways.
6. Verb Ghost Oil ($14): Hair oil is a non-negotiable for coarse, frizzy, or parched hair. Problem is, many are just what their name implies…oily! Luckily, this formula is invisible (like a ghost, hence the product name), immediately soaked up by parched strands, while still being extremely effective.
7) R+Co Outerspace Flexible Hairspray ($29): Somehow this otherworldly (see what we did there?) spray keeps things where we want without shellacking down the hair. Don’t even consider going outside in inclement weather or crazy winter wind without this safeguard.

{5 Reasons You Should Be Using Argan Oil On Your Lips Moroccan Magic|15 Foods To Eat For Glowing.
Argan oil can be used as a very effective overnight deep conditioning treatment. With its moisture-enriched healing formula, the shampoo reduces flaking and dry scalp, and promotes the growth of healthy, strong hair. The lowest-priced of the face oils tested, GH Seal holder Palmer's 10-botanical-oil blend (with argan, apricot and almond oils) was also a hero hydrator. Castor oil is very easily absorbed by the skin and is a great treatment for dry and cracked heels. If you're prone to clogged pores, you may want to choose a lighter oil like argan or marula with a smaller molecular size that will absorb into your skin quicker. The Argan oil is safe to be used on the scalp, hair and also for the skin. Therefore, there is a huge need to supplement the missing collagen to improve skin elasticity and appearance as well as general body health. A low-quality oil will not give you the same argan oil benefits as it will not have the same concentration of nutrients. As long as your mind is set on using an efficient argan oil shampoo and conditioner, you may take the leap of faith as you're not getting a lemon, for sure. You may also use your argan oil as a leave-in hair conditioner that doesn't need to be washed out. I hope you enjoyed my review of Argan Oil of Morocco hair care range. Followed by Aria Starr Beauty ORGANIC Argan Oil is Silk18 Natural Hair Conditioner which is our fourth top argan oil product in the 2018 review. Some ordinary shampoos might dry out the hair, while oil shampoos, on the other hand, are game changers, as the surfactant is less powerful. This amazing, leave-in treatment provides hair with a soft, silky feel and brilliant shine. An overly active sebaceous gland can cause the appearance of oily hair while conversely, an underachieving sebaceous gland will cause dry and brittle hair. You can get these benefits by applying argan oil directly to the skin, taking oral supplement regularly, or both. The most common oils you will find in shampoos for sensitive scalps are jojoba, shea, avocado, and tea tree. Before going to bed, apply only one or two drops on your face and gently massage the oil onto your skin by making circular movements. It is a nourishing conditioner that is sure to enhance your hair's appearance with a healthy shine and maintain a balanced, clean scalp. You see a lot of names coming up in the market right now that are using argan oil, but not all of them use the highest quality oils. Apply a generous amount of fast-absorbing oil to damp skin wherever needed and massage in. The truth is, the amount of propylene glycol in hair loss treatments is not likely to cause any real harm and the FDA has given the chemical approval for many uses. Maple Holistics packs their Argan oil shampoo with ingredients that are proven to help people with sensitive scalps. It features Argan Oil that is rich in essential vitamins and nutrients that help deeply condition and hydrate hair. FAST is NOT a hair loss product. Anti-hair loss shampoos contain ingredients that are able to boost scalp circulation and increase the level of nutrients getting to the hair follicles. The 50 percent of lauric acid found in coconut oil is helpful in preventing damage in the arteries, leading to a healthy heart. A 6-month study on 32 healthy volunteers where each participant is given collagen tripeptide to ingest twice a day in form of soup, arganoilhelp.com water and drinks. The body hydrates more efficiently when we eat (rather than drink) some of our water, too, which is why water-rich skin-healthy beauty foods like watermelon, cucumber, apple, and celery that slowly hydrate as they make their way through our digestive system are some of the best foods for skin beauty and health. Packed with quinoa protein and argan oil, Moroccanoil Mending Infusion can reduce the appearance of split ends as well as improve hydration, shine and malleability in all hair types. So, I did the legwork — and consulted hairstylist Lacy Redway along the way — to figure out which products actually leave your edges laid for longer than five minutes. Packed full of carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, coconut oil can help to build stronger strands too, making it a great weekly treatment for locks prone to breakage and slow growth. Argan Oil from Russell Organics is 100% pure Argan Oil. Tea tree oil shampoo will help nourish your locks and keep your scalp moisturized, but more importantly, because tea tree oil is renowned for its antibacterial properties, that means you'll be reducing the toxins that can cause hair to fall out and your scalp to flake. This shampoo is effective at helping to add moisture, shine, volume, and suppleness to thin and lifeless hair. It promotes healthy skin cells and aids in collagen production for bouncy, youthful skin. As we mentioned, there are many argan oil shampoos out there, so picking the right one isn't always an easy task. It is considered a dry oil" meaning that it soaks into the skin easily, and does not leave a greasy residue. Formulated for men and women of all hair types, it contains DHT fighting saw palmetto extract, along with growth enhancing emu oil, castor oil, caffeine and vitamin B6.

{Moroccan Argan Oil Beauty|Top 12 Benefits Of Laser Hair Removal For Men|Argan Oil Vs Jojoba Oil.
Because most women suffer from a Vitamin B or Biotin deficiency, which can trigger hair loss, Keranique designed an advanced formula that contains Keratin and Pro Vitamin B5. The hero ingredient in this bottle is the only ingredient in this bottle: pure, organic Argan Oil packed with vitamin e and omega-6 fatty acids. I use this as a treatment for my hair, it has no silicon so its a good healthy alternative to a lot of moroccan oil products out there and gives my curls a bit of a boost. Natural Argan oil smells nutty, with an almost warm popcorn aroma. My recommendation with oils is generally to leave them on overnight, since with argan oil, your main job is to allow the vitamin E to soak in and be thoroughly absorbed into the skin where it can prevent acne. Our special hair serum,Hair Magick, is a total repair serum with 40% of pure Argan Oil blended with other natural oils. Simply put a few drops of oil in your palm, along with a few drops of essential oils for added benefits (use peppermint for dry hair, lavender for fine to normal, or lemon for golden highlights) and rub your hands together. If it does, I recommend trying pure argan oil or extra virgin coconut oil. Applying Vitamin E oil regularly can significantly reduce the risk of cracking or breaking a nail. After applying Actually Organic's argan oil in my hair after my shower, brushing it became so much easier. A high Vitamin E content in argan oil hair treatment salon selectives oil helps remove damaged cells and encourages new ones to grow, thus fading acne scars. The Vitamin E in the oil helps to increase the elasticity of the skin while lightening scarring, so current stretch marks can be lightened while developing additional stretch marks is less likely. Thought to strengthen nails, argan oil is sometimes recommended for treatment of brittle nails. To condition, I work the oil between my hands and smooth up to, but not all the way to the root, on my damp hair after a shower and leave overnight to give it time to work its magic. Enriched with Proteins derived from plants and olive oil, this concentrated treatment hydrates from root to tip to repel dehydration, calms frizz, and prevents static, making hair easier to detangle. Before washing out the mask, put conditioner on your hair to help break down the oil, which makes it easier to wash out. Cold-pressed, organic and rich in natural fatty acids, vitamin E and omega-6, this antioxidant powerhouse combats frizzy hair, dry scalp, split ends, breakage and dull hair appearance. If you are looking to promote hair growth, there are various effective shampoos and conditioners available that can have positive effects. From my hair treatment, to shampoos to styling products and creams, I regularly use Argan Oil on a daily basis. It repairs dry damaged hair and split-ends. This specialized shampoo features an argan keratin hair treatment with Vitamins A, B1, B2, D, & E to increase the strength of hair and eliminate frizz. So now it's time for you to relax and read this article on our page , which will present to you some advantages of propolis for your overall health, your skin along with your hair. While you can use Viva Naturals Organic Jojoba Oil on its own - and it comes in an easy-to-use pump spray bottle - you can also combine it with your favorite hair care product to bring moisture back to your hair while preventing it from becoming dry and brittle. The best value proposition is Honest Amish Classic Beard Oil , which gives you the vitamin-rich goodness of avocado, pumpkin and almond oils at less than $7 an ounce. As mentioned, Argan oil contains a high level of fatty acids, in fact, it is comprised of roughly 80% fatty acids which work wonders to erase signs of premature aging. Compared to grapeseed oil or sea buckthorn oil, top quality argan oils are very easy to find. Ingredients: pure, unadulterated, cold pressed, undeodorized, virgin, organic argania spinosa (argan oil). I normally always read the ingredients of products I buy (food and cosmetics) but on the tiny sample bottle my mother uses I didn't see any ingredients and then I just assumed the MoroccanOil is a good and healthy product. Relieves Dry, Itchy And Oily Scalps. In fact, argan oil and Moroccan oil both contain argan oil—so they really are essentially the same thing. In any case, it's the minoxidil that helps curb hair loss and not the propylene glycol. Khadavi told us that a third of my patients get irritated from minoxidil products because of propylene glycol," we decided to cut any treatments with it. An excellent source of vitamin E, walnuts provide a crunchy and satisfying way to give your hair the oils it needs to stay full of shine and luster. This blend is not only meant to smell nice it also infuses all the benefits of each oil to nicely complement the argan oil. All these oils have skin regenerative properties which renew skin cells at a faster rate and exfoliates dead cells which ultimately lightens the dark spots. There are basically two ways to go about treating your hair with it: you can buy a conditioning product which has argan oil within the formula, or you can buy pure argan oil for your hair.

Time to Play and declutter (a little), and maybe even do a review update! I would wait a few more days, but I have two packages coming in tomorrow that I’m also going to want to review pretty quickly here, plus my Ipsy bag should be here very soon as well.
Course, then we end up with at least two weeks of silence around here, but this month, that’s not a bad thing. Next month things will even out a bit more since I’ll be doing quite a bit of prep for the holidays which will probably force me to space my reviews a bit (with all the baking I do for Christmas, there won’t be time or money for much makeup play).
Let’s start with the Play bag. In my Play this month: Marc Jacob's Velvet Noir Volume Mascara ($14), Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores ($10), Moroccanoil Treatment (for hair; $6); Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Perfect Nude ($1), Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum ($16), and of course the perfume (Burberry in My Burberry Blush) which will go into the ProjectBeautyShare.org box. Total Value: $47. I also really like the bag this time around; it's cute!
Not being reviewed today are the perfume (as always) and the mascara. The mascara will be posted in a review update after I get through the mascaras I already have open. Let’s get to the rest of it!
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores :: I’ve never tried a charcoal mask before, and after seeing the peel offs, was a little uncertain about this one. Very glad this one isn’t a peel off because I’m a wimp. lol Once applied, it tingled a little and tightened while it dried. Once it rinsed, my skin was a bit dry but soft and smooth and with fewer bumps in the areas where I’m prone to pimples and breakouts. My red areas also looked less red. And my skin looked and felt really good the next morning as well, so I think it worked really well with my philosophy moisturizer. Really liked it!
Moroccanoil Treatment :: I was doubtful about this because I have curly hair, which tends to mean oily scalp and dry ends. Plus my hair gets flat because of the headbands I wear to help it back when doing my makeup. So I was really doubtful about using an oil in my oil prone hair. But this shit worked! It’s got a nice scent that took time to fade but wasn’t overpowering. It appeared to help bring my bounce and curl back and added a nice shine without turning my hair oily. Liked this one a lot too!
Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Perfect Nude :: So the value of this might imply it was a bit of a “throwaway” item, but it’s actually a very nice gloss. Not very pigmented, but most glosses aren’t, and what color there is pretty much disappears a bit on me, making it indeed a perfect nude (though it does lighten other lipsticks when used over them). It does add a nice shimmer and it’s not very sticky, either alone or over other lipsticks. It didn’t want to come off when used without a primer (I had to use a makeup remover wipe). It held up well to eating, but there is transfer. I like it, not as much as the previous two items, but enough to love list it at Sephora.
Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum :: Still not sold on the serum thing—seems an extra step and expense for a whole lot of nothing—but I do use my samples up. This one did leave my skin less sticky than the Radiance serum I have, but didn’t seem to do much of anything when it comes to moisture as I still had to put a little extra moisturizer on my cheeks. Again, I’ll use it, but not impressed, especially for the prices these serums go for.
Really impressed with this month’s bag. domy tried these and, for the most part, loved them! In fact, three out of the four are now on my loves list at Sephora, and I’m looking forward to trying the mascara when I can. Either my Stila or my Clinique should be running out soonish.
The second photo is my mini-decluttering. I don’t declutter often because things tend to go into the ProjectBeautyShare.org box straight away if they don’t work for me. Otherwise they get put to use. In this case, the palettes and single eye shadow are going into the PBS box and the mascara got tossed. In this declutter:
The BH Essential Eyes 28 Color Eyeshadow Palette :: This was a bonus item added to an order by BH. The pigmentation isn’t that bad, and it’s a decent neutrals palette, though it has few, if any, real mattes. Thing is, most the colors in here that I would use I have in other palettes with better pigmentation, and I wasn’t reaching for this all that much. When not reaching for something, and you have other palettes with the same colors, it’s time to pass it on to someone who would get more use out of it.
Two Nyx Rocker Chic Palettes :: These are actually really decent palettes with great pigmentation, they’re just nothing special. Again, they have colors I have elsewhere (especially the peach one) except for maybe one shade, and I won’t keep a whole palette for one shade. I already don’t have enough space. I think I got suckered in by the interesting packaging, and I really like the colors, I just have them elsewhere.
Maybelline Eyeshadow Single :: I actually like these singles, and am keeping a copper and a gold from the same line, but this is another shade I have elsewhere in at least one larger palette. It doesn’t take much space, but it also doesn’t get much use, so time to pass it on to someone else.
Ciaté London Wonderwand Mascara in Black Magic :: I wasn’t impressed with this mascara and eventually started using it on my brows. With the brow gel I just received, I won’t be using it anymore. It was already starting to clump, and I’d never get back to it before I’d have to toss it anyway, so in the trash it went.
None of these were really bad, per se (the Wonderrwand wasn’t impressive, but not BAD), it was just their time to go.
With the length of this post, we’ll go without the review update this time around. Probably a good idea to wait until I have more stuff to update on. ;)

We color our hair, put them thru heat and other styling treatments so its important to give it some TLC by oiling or regularly using hair masks, but beware too much of either can cause more damage if not done right. As far back as I can think oiling my hair with coconut oil has been a big part of my life. When I was young my mom would oil my hair on a regular basis. As I got older I didn't oil as often and rarely used hair masks and it showed. My hair because week, brittle and damaged. In the past few years I have been trying to get back to it. Oiling/Hair Masks helps moisturize your dry scalp, helps heal damaged hair, strengthens, reduces frizz and prevents breakage. DIY There are many DIY hair mask (eggs, banana, avocado etc). I prefer a mixture of Coconut, Almond, Castor and Amla Oil. There is no set quantity I just mix a little bit of each in a bottle or bowl. Warm it for 15 seconds, soak a cotton ball in the oil apply it to my roots (DO NOT USE TOO MUCH OIL). Using a cotton ball helps deposit the oil directly to my roots. Then using my fingertips (no fingernails) I massage my scalp gently for 5 minutes. Whatever oil is on my hands I just pull through my ends. Wrap you head in a hot towel and wash after 2 hours. Benefits of: Coconut Oil- There are so many benefits of coconut oil. It helps with hair growth, helps fight dandruff, adds shine and softness, helps against breakage and split ends. Its also a carrier oil so you can mix a few drops of essential oils in the coconut oil to target specific issues. Mixing Tea Tree oil in it helps tackle dandruff or Lavender helps with distressing. Almond Oil- contains OMEGA 3 fatty acids, Vitamin E and Magnesium. It helps strengthen hair while adding shine and luster. Castor Oil-has antifungal and antibacterial properties, contains Vitamin E, OMEGA 6, proteins and minerals. It helps strengthen and nourish. Amla (Gooseberry) Oil contains vitamins, fatty acid, protein and minerals. It helps treat dry, itchy scalp. It also helps promote hair growth. Massaging your hair daily even when not oiling helps with circulation to the scalp. I massage my hair daily before going to bed. If you are not a fan of oils there are some good hair masks and products available L'Oréal Oil in Cream: For Dry hair. It contains Coconut, Argan, Chamomile, Amla, and sunflower oil complex among other ingredients but it has a cream finish so does not have a greasy oily finish. Start with a little bit on your and hair and massage prior to washing or as a leave in conditioner. I used it daily for my nightly massage. A little goes a long way. Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating mask- Its and Argan oil based mask for medium to thick hair. Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! It hydrates and restore dry, damaged and brittle hair. OUAI Treatment Masque: Moisturizes and restores damaged hair. Other brands that have great hair restoring masks VERB, Amika, Living Proof, Kiehl's, Caviar...... There are a few of my favs but its not one size fit all. Read about the product do your research so you are choosing the best product for your hair. Hair issues can also be medical.
