They want to make me cry. A Lilo and Stitch event fit so much to Lilia. I still have in mind the quote "This, is my family. It's little, and broken. But still good" It's totally something Lilia could think in a doubt moment after taking care of Silver. "Yeah. It's a baby human. Yeah. Sometime I kinda suck at parenting and end up being yell at by Baul's daugther. But the simple fact this child still smile at me, so fearless and innocent, will be enough to make me protect him for the rest of his life"

Lilia and stitch movies fits diasomnia family so freaking well I want to scream. I was talking to Mumble how every card this year released has been a family oriented card for Lilia and then we have this event. Which means that they have been waiting until book 7 and certain lore was revealed before they dropped all these Lilia cards on us, such as him being an orphan and his view on family.

Lilia who was the Phantom General who was adopted into the draconia family and then later made his own family with diasomnia. Lilia who learned how to be a family man through how love changes a person with time and the people in his life 🥹

Him and Stitch have so much in common. They are also both menaces lolol

And I love that quote!! It’s one of my faves and made me tear up. Because we have Lilia who didn’t want children, suddenly raising a baby and a human at that. Yes, he raised Malleus but Malleus is more…durable. Humans are much more fragile.

But we have Baby Silver, our precious Silver who is full of love, smiling at this fearless general despite his mistakes. Who despite all the yelling he gets from Mama Zigvolt, he tries his best just because Baby Silver Smile at him.

Didn’t we also have a similar scene with Malleus in Halloween? Where Lilia says the four of them are family and he can depend on them? That reminded me of Ohana right away. How it means family and no one gets left behind. 🥹💞

I love documentaries. I like to watch them while I'm eating. Just now I had dinner and watched

This one above is focusing on the nature, especially around Hawai'i Volcanoes. But since Hawaiian culture is completely about living in unity with their natural wonders, it also covered beautiful things on the culture as well.

A few things came up, that I was dying to share:

I love this sooo much. It does so completely express a way of living I've always firmly believed in, even before I knew that somewhere someone put it into such beautiful wise words.

It fits perfectly that it is the beginning of a new year and maybe someone out here is still searching for suitable resolutions to pick up.

Here's my suggestion:

Make room for ALOHA in your lives! Live by it. Give it freely. With all its aspects!

Also, go ahead and tell someone you love and admire, that they are PUA LEHUA!

Stitch had certainly came a long away from being created as a destructive mass of chaos to a lonely and confused creature struggling to find a true meaning purpose in life to finally finding a family and where he belongs. All thanks to the help, love and support of a lonely, misunderstood and sweet young girl who had taught him the true meaning of ohana.

Lilo & Stitch is such a cute and heartfelt movie and a personal favourite of mine next to The Lion King and I do hope that future generations can show just as much admiration in many years to come.

Book: Open Heart

Summary: Bryce sees his mother after so many years of not being on speaking terms. Keiki has a harder time forgiving her mother. But maybe time will heal all wounds and they can start being a family again.

She stands up and starts to pace. She always does that when she has something to say.

”I can’t believe you. How can you be so calm about it? You’re forgiving dad. Inviting mom to dinner? What’s next? Forgiving Tyler too?“ She huffs out a breath and kicks at sand.

I get up too.

”Tyler is a dick and a cheater. I’m glad Luna and Tyler aren’t together because he can’t hurt her anymore.

But do you really think the last few years were easy for me? I was trying to escape just as you were, but I knew that sooner or later I’d have to face my demons. Nobody is infallible Keiks. At least of all our parents.“

I look out at the ocean again, water as far as the eye can see. Some still surf and others are on little boats, enjoying the last hours of sunlight.

I turn towards Keiki again and get up. Too restless to sit down on the sand either.

”I miss mom and dad. Do you know what it feels like to see Luna interact with her parents and to see that love? Don’t get me wrong, her family never made me feel unwelcome, they’re one of the nicest and most loving people I’ve ever met. But it’s not the same. I want a hug when I feel sad. Or a kick to my ass when I’m being an idiot. But I want those things from my parents. Yes, they’ve made mistakes but don’t you want to try again? To see if we could be a family again?“

Keiki gnaws on her lip and looks away.

”I’m not ready, I'm sorry. I want to forgive them and start over. But I don’t think I’m ready.“

She looks as if she’s about to cry again. Her lip quivers and she looks down so that I don’t see her tears.

”And that’s okay Kei-Kei.“

I say and when she looks up I open my arms and my little sister flies into them. God I’m so glad we made up and that we’re in each other's lives. I couldn’t imagine my life without my little sister.
