Alright, who let me spend all day writing about Assyrian art and then said "Sure you can decompress by playing Morrowind, the terms floating around in your head are tooootally not used wrong in that game or anything and it's totally not going to ruin your immersion to run into an Ashlander called Sargon or the repeated use of the god/city name Assur so that everyone's name is just "Beloved of Assur" or something along those lines.
Don't get me started on tels and the fact that instead of large man-made hill settlements I'm looking at grey boi mushroom towers.
And I love this game because of those references, it's what got me into it again, this isn't a true bitching post, I'm just expressing love.
Don't get me started on Skyrim's use of modified cuneiform for word walls, I saw the symbol for head on a previous session and I died from laughter.
Just bathe my favourite elf race in Assyrian costume and make me happy.
