She smirked a bit as he was unwilling to say anything about what she had just looked at. Yes, he was being a gentleman but in true Piper fashion, it only made her want to get a rise out of him more. He was already way too amused by her reaction to the horse after all. Why shouldn't she make him feel just as uncomfortable? "Do what? Look at my own butt? I have to Wyatt. Otherwise, it will just be the horse doing it." She joked.

She was glad that it was just Cassie that wanted to learn how to rise because no matter how natural Piper was at so many things, she was pretty damn sure that horseback rising wasn't one of them. She didn't like being out of control and putting faith in anyone but herself and it seemed like that was exactly what you had to do while riding a horse. It seemed like some sort of partnership and honestly, Piper didn't have the best experiences when putting trust into anyway. She doubted horses would be any different.

Though she couldn't deny that she was glad Wyatt gave her a way to say yes and still be indignant about it. "While I guess I can't turn you down without disappointing Cassie can I?" She shot back with a smirk that boarded on an actual smile. "But its not a date. Its....bribery." Yes, she was far more comfortable with Bribes than she was with actually going on a date.

Wyatt understood Piper’s concerns, but horseback riding was as easy as riding a bike, at least to him it was. He’d been doing it since he could walk, practically and most people, he’d witnessed, got the hang of riding fairly quick. “Yeah well, nobody’s gettin’ trampled on my watch. Besides, it all depends on what kind of temper the horse has. I got just the right one for Cici. Darla is gentle and docile. Cici will love her. You really got nothin’ to worry about,” he assured, nodding.

“Because I won’t give the riding lessons otherwise.” Wyatt joked, all the while there was a smirk on his face as he waited a beat before shaking his head. “You really just gonna turn me down? That’s a good way to destroy an ego.” He let out a laugh, scratching his forehead. “I guess I’m just gonna have to keep askin’ you until ya finally get annoyed and say yes just to shut me up."

Western AU - gotta do some cowboy stuff I mean... Matthew is just. Right there. Cowboy hat in hand. Waiting.

Other Sport - maybe baseball?? but really i kind of want to do Tennis. Like. OH. Tennis veterans Leo and Connor, not DONE yet but closer to the end than the beginning and then there's Connor Bedard jumping onto the scene all young and amazing and 'please bad touch me' about it.

Hey, I found you too late to submit, but did folks submit the duo from "I Am Not Okay With This?" A supremely unfortunately early cancel Netflix show?

I know we're way late to like have it be in the running, but if folks aren't aware and they like this dynamic, This show takes place in a high school and involves the protagonist discovering that she has barely controllable superpowers in a world where that's not normally a thing as far as we know.

Sydney Novak, our protagonist, (played by Sophia Lillis) is also a budding lesbian figuring out that she's got a thing for her long time best female friend... And she's also almost certainly on the autism spectrum and I love her....

And then her new good friend is a great weird guy named Stanley Barber (played by wyatt Oleff) who's almost certainly got ADHD. XD

They have a great dynamic, and when he figures out that she's got powers, he like immediately starts devising training strategies pulled straight out of comics etc, is not phased barely at all by her very dangerous powers, just totally down to help her master them etc. XD

But my favorite moment is one where they're both stressed? And his stress is manifesting in him doing a lot of stimming and hyperactive stuff, and her stress is manifesting in her being very easily over stimulated, and his stimming totally sets off her over stimulation and XD 💚💚💚 oh bbs. That's some real ADHD | ASD education hour shit right there. XD

Sydney and Stanley DID get one submission!!! I would have liked to see them in the tournament if they'd gotten more </3

very very sad that I Am Not Okay With This only got the 1 season. netflix looooves to cancel their shows with autistic-coded protagonists, especially if they're also women (i.e. Inside Job, Dead End Paranormal Park). but I do recommend the 1 season we got to anyone who likes dark comedies and or shows with queer/neurodivergent themes!!!!!

4. A character you rarely talk about?

Oh, there's a lot(I still love them). Most are from the DA fic(s) I wrote before joining tumblr, and the main one is my beloved canon Warden Rahna Tabris

What was supposed to be a one-shot(maybe two-shot) about the start of her grieving process when romanced!Alistair died killing the archdemon somehow wouldn't stop growing and by the end of it I had 665k for her, spanning four longfics, several oneshots, covering Origin' epilogue scene through Witch Hunt, ft a very slow burn, friends to lovers second chance romance with Jowan. (seriously. I think it took 100k for there to be a hint of actual romance/crushing)

I love her dearly and she is still my canon Warden, but since I spent so long writing her and only her and her story seemed pretty much done at the end of her last longfic, she hasn't really talked to me since I finished. Since that was...6mon-a year after I joined tumblr she's not as "known" as the others. (Also she's the only muse I've written in first person. So that may be a factor in why I haven't written her more😅)

6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?

I think Jaaide and Janine would get mistaken for sisters if they were in the same universe(both blonde, they have similar jawlines/cheekbones). Which is ironic bc Jo Wyatt is my "voice claim" for Janine, to make sure I keep her with a consistent speech pattern when I write. xD

22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?

Not mischaracterize, exactly, but I think I/other people focus more on the sweetheart/goofball side of Vikkari, when he is also extremely badass in a fight, especially after doubling down on his Mythic path after the Abyss(warpriest, man, he can kick your ass with magic OR the huge falchion he's lugging around or both). I think it's a byproduct of me mostly writing downtime scenes where he's joking around with Seelah or being really sweet with Arue(or Etain in that AU). If I wrote him more fight scenes, which I should do since I love writing combat :3, it would be easier to remember.

Jas would have the same theme I do, with sunny yellow background, some cute wallpaper-like art of butterflies as the header image, and a cartoonized/goofy version of her Official Queenly Portrait as her pfp/sidebar image. (green with the aurora borealis as header for mobile) She mostly reblogs inspirational/scriptural quotes, recipes for sweet breakfast and dessert food, and animal pictures. Nature and art for things she likes also make frequent appearances. She also posts a lot just rambling about her day, stuff she saw or did, her family/friends/Tristian(yes he's his own category).

43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confess

Definitely like red hair, freckles, and green eyes, though I try to only have one or two of the three per character, not all of them(AJ and Tel have red hair + freckles but blue eyes, Jas and Tragen have red hair/green eyes but no freckles, Endrali and Trinne have freckles, Jaaide has green eyes etc etc) Also brown or grey eyes.

I like making bookworms. I love making siblings sets(*glances at the... five I have in SWtOR*), usually with a good relationship. Snark. Supportive and fiercely protective. There's a lot.

Hawke had been in the keep a while now; they had a few words here or there, but not enough that he figured the other thought him a friend. Still, he couldn’t be mean. Not when he had such a puppy dog face like Cullen. 

“You went and mussed up my hair, Hawke. I hope this tickles you pink and you and Varric cackle about it over drinks later.” He clears his throat this time, runs his hand through his hair to try and salvage it, before standing a bit more relaxed. “Now...is there something I can assist you with?”

I JUST FINISHED TIMELESS AND I'M AAAA

It is going to be a huge text, so I will just highlight some points to the people who don't want to read it all. If you don't want to read everything just search for paragraphs like this

So, basically, I started watching timeless when it first aired in 2017. I passed trough the cancelling drama and stuff, but ended up not watching the second season because I was too busy for that.

Now, five years later, I have finally got my hands onto a streaming that has Timeless (I'm not from USA, so this took a while) and was ready to watch it. I finished everything in like three days and I'm just... a.

There's a lot of things that I think that happened just because they couldn't explore the plot well in 90 minutes. These thing's I'll highlight in green.

About Wyatt, Lyatt and Jessica

I actually liked Lyatt in the first season and the Hollywood episode was pretty nice. It was clear that they liked each other, and even though It wasn't mega exciting, I was happy for them. But then Jessica happened...

Wyatt was nice in the first season, but in the second one I think the writers tried really hard to make him despicable AND MANAGED TO DO IT.

I didn't hate him, but he was clearly dumb, selfish and the things that Jessica said about their marriage were never prooved to be wrong, so he was also explosive and dangerous. I was actually waiting for the series to reveal that he wasn't that cheating drunk man that Jessica portrayed, but it never did it.

Just look at how he punched Lucy! It was without intentions, but he couldn't control himself when she came closer! Man...

I think Jessica was really pregnant, but they didn't have time to explore it in the short season's finale so they just gave that terrible and quick excuse.

Like:

- Hey, what about that baby that would cause a big trouble or at least a really sad scene of Wyatt discovering that he was being fooled? - Oh, just make future Wyatt tell it was a lie in one line.

C'mon guys!!! The way the series portrayed before S02x11, Jessica actually really loved Wyatt and it was going to be a big problem for Rittenhouse in the future.

I understand that, just like Wyatt said, his situation was without precedents (usually your dead wife doesn't come back from the dead XD), BUT he was still acting terrible. Just like my babe Flynn said: Lucy is not your wife, the blonde girl is.

I can fully understand Wyatt and still despise him so much, it is just hard.

About Garcia Flynn and Garcy

First, I have to say that I have always loved Garcia Flynn. I watched the first season a long time ago so I couldn't remember exactly why, but it didn't take too long until I had fallen in love with him all over again.

Garcia is just charming, smart, funny and even though it concerns me, I felt completely in love with him everytime he punched a bad guy. This man is just... wow.

I have always tought that he and Lucy where just friends, really. I thought that he only admired her for who she was and for helping him (even though we didn't know how at the beggining) to revenge his family.

But man... It all started when Jessica came back. The way Flynn waited until she was clearly single to make a move on her... Not only smart, but so cute!

As they were always next to eachother we were able to see the way he looked at her... just... so sweetly. He knew her from the diary and started admiring her by that, but I believe that as soon as he started to know the person behind those writings it just was impossible not to fall in love.

That moment between them in the Chinatown episode I went just AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA When she read about the kiss in the Titanic also, man! My heart even started racing! He takes care of her and knows how to do it, it was so obvious that he was in love and I just- I JUST CAN'T DEAL WITH IT.

She started to look for him, to trust him and actually pay attention on him in a romantic way...

They have only killed Flynn because he was a HUGE loose end. In a universe where Flynn exists Lucy would never end up with Wyatt.

His chemistry with Lucy was CLEAR and only growing every episode.

The way he was always there for her, the way their friendship was growing and revealing to be way more than that... Lyatt could never.

Lyatt was obvious and quick, something that I could have easily accepted to watch ending. Garcy was being built carefully with a good foundation. It was suposed to be Flynn with Lucy in the end.

Other points

It is also sad how Jiya's powers were just ignored in the last episode. I think that time related powers would have probably become a thing in the series and generate a lot of plot for us.

Timeless, in my point of view, could have been here with us for at least two more seasons.

I feel sad about how it was cancelled. I don't think it was a 10/10 series, but I still had a emotional conection with it and its characters. I almost cried when Rufus died and I didn't even knew that I loved him this much.

Lucy also decided out of nowhere not to save her sister because this was ALSO a loose end. I believe that her sister could have been a new villain.

And her father just giving up on Rittenhouse like this? A big no for me. It just happened for the series finale. We have already learned that people in Rittenhouse struggle a lot to get out.

Emma wasn't that weak to die so quickly and had already proofed herself to be actually dangerous. She KILLED the head of the Rittenhouse and people did nothing out of FEAR.

About characters

Jiya Marri was awesome with her powers and inteligence. I was completely OMGOMGOMGOMG when she ran away from Rittenhouse!

Rufus Carlin was cute, even though I have found him annoying sometimes.

As I said, I can't even remember why I did like Wyatt Logan in the first season.

Garcia Flynn will haunt my dreams just as Lorenzo from TVD has done (literally, I dreamt about him for weeks). I think that it is becoming too common for me to fall for european bad guys and I need to find my own XD

I can't believe how I started to like Lucy Preston. One of the saddest things in the series ending is that I won't be able to see more of her.

In the end, after 40 minutes writing, I just have to say that I enjoyed Timeless and it is really sad that it just has 2 seasons.

I give it a 8/10 for making me love the characters, even though i think that some dialogue lines where a little bit cheesy.

I love thinking about how like. artistic / crafty these legendary collections are making Wyatt - first he spent nights carefully studying the skies and drawing the constellations for Astralaria, and now with Bifrost he's making color studies. Taking out his little painting kits and just. Painting.

I think that's wonderful. I don't think that he's an amazing artist? He spent a lot of his life focusing more on dance and like expressions of art that come from his body and how he moves it, and drawing and stuff was always like a very side thing. I think he's always doodled on his school notes and stuff, but maybe it's been like, visualisations of what he's learning more often than drawing fantastical things from imagination?

Drawing and painting less as an expression of self and emotions and ideas, and more as a tool to conceptualise and visualise things. Which is not a wrong way to do this kind of art, it's just very different from how I personally do art for example.

He DOES absolutely draw and craft just to do those things and have fun also, and did so more as a kid, but his energies and emotions and stories channel more through the body and movement than through pen and paper or brush and canvas.

It's currently 2am, I see a charmed post, and my brain immediately starts doing the thing it shouldn't be doing right now. It's thinking instead of letting me sleep. So, since it refuses to let me sleep, I've decided to make it your problem because you shared the post. Keeping with that, I'll share what my brain is questioning.

What do you think it would be like if Prue lived and met Paige? Do you think they'd get along? Do you think they'd be close? How do you think Paige's relationship with Piper and Phoebe would change with Prue still being around? Would anything actually change there? And how do you think things would have changed (in regards to future events and even naming future children) with Prue still being alive? Would things stay the same? Would things change? Would Wyatt and Chris still exist? Would they not? Basically, what are your thoughts on an AU where Prue never died and how do you think things would change because of that?

Pro tip on the matter of making your brain stop think instead of sleep: try putting THE PHONE DOWN and stop BEING ON TUMBLR xDDD

Oh hell no. I'm thinkin s1 Prue-Phoebe times ten to be honest. Paige was such a BRAT in her first season and Prue never had time for brats, she would be So Done with Paige.

I did always like how Paige shifted the dynamics, giving Phoebe more responsibilities and making Piper step up as the oldest sister. But these were all new dynamics for them.

If Prue was alive, she would just continue being the responsible older sister, probably kind of mothering Paige. Maybe that'd have helped make Paige act more responsible sooner?

I also think it would have shifted Paige's attitude a little, because Paige did feel like a replacement when she first came into the family - Prue left big shoes to fill and Paige was there to see the grief and see how high Piper and Phoebe held Prue. If Prue was alive, if Paige just slotted into the family with all of them alive, without the expectations to live up to Prue's legacy and with the freedom to fully carve out her own spot, things would have been different.

Maybe her and Phoebe would have had a closer relationship from the get go, as the two youngest. Phoebe knowing what Prue's expectations can feel like on someone, while getting to be excited about no longer being the youngest, without the grief and responsibility she felt in canon, they could have had an easier and perhaps... lighter? Dynamic. Phoebe was at her strictest when she was with Paige and you could always feel that she was channeling her inner Prue, but with a living Prue, she wouldn't have to and she'd have been allowed to relish in the joy of becoming an older sister more.

Concerning future children; while I do keep the the canon kids, I also change some named. I just absolutely hate the name of Phoebe's firstborn and I don't like that she got named after Prue instead of Piper's daughter. And even with alive Prue, I'd like to think of Piper's daughter as Melinda Prudence Halliwell. There's shenannigans to be had to justify a naming after even without honoring the dead sister; perhaps Prue was playing a big role in the birth of the kid, saving the baby's life or something.

I also change the name of another Phoebe daughter, because I like to think that Cole/Phoebe's son, had he lived, would be named Parker then; Parker Benjamin. So her daughters would be Phenia, Palmer and Peyton.

While I accept basically all of the canon kids (aside from making Phoebe's kids Cole's kids), Phenia is my one non-negotiable OC off-spring. She takes over the role of the oldest daughter, since the set of cousins born in 2007 seems significant and meaningful. But, uh, that's that on my next gen lineup, otherwise this derails too much. xD"
