We Got Married Masterlist~
Tumblr media
As the fountain got into your field of vision, you stopped. You started getting cold feet, too nervous to keep going. You heard your phone chime.
? - I’m waiting for you, wife~
You kind of let out a squeak, the text catching you off guard. You siked yourself up enough to walk over to the fountain. You didn’t see anyone when you got there. You walked around, seeing if there was someone sitting on the other side. You spotted someone dressed in a suit on the other side sitting with a bouquet of flowers. You gasped quietly as they got up, recognizing them right away.
“Oh! Hello,” you said shyly
“Hi there.”
Stood before you was the Prince of Shanghai himself, Yanan of Pentagon. It was evident that he was nervous, the slight sheen on his forehead and the way he wouldn’t look you in the eyes made that very clear. He extended the bouquet of flowers towards you and you happily took them.
“Thank you,” you smiled, “I’m Y/N of Y/G.”
“I’m Yanan of Pentagon.”
“I know. i’m actually a fan of you guys.”
Yanan’s eyes widened clearly taken aback by that admission. A soft pink blush appeared on his cheeks as he said a simple thank you. You both stood there for a moment in awkward silence. After what felt like forever, Yanan finally spoke up and suggested going to a cafe down the street that he knew about. You happily agreed, letting him lead the way.
The two of you left the park and headed towards the cafe. It was a rather quiet journey, neither of you talking on the way. You just chocked it up to nerves. You arrived at the cute little cafe a few minutes later. You sat down at a table in the corner of the cafe that was a bit away from the other patrons. Yanan asked for your order then went up to the counter. He came back a few minutes later with a drink for both of you.
“Thank you,” you said as you sipped the drink
“You’re welcome.”
You both sat and sipped on your drinks in silence. You could tell the producers were starting to get a bit antsy because of how quiet you both were being. Can they blame you though? This whole thing was rather intimidating and nerve wracking. One of the producers spoke up to clear the silence and start some sort of conversation between you.
“What would you be doing for a job if you weren’t an idol?”
You thought about it a moment. You hadn’t been asked that before and weren’t quite sure how to answer. Yanan, on the other hand, had an answer ready.
“I’d be an air steward.”
“Really?” you looked at him in surprise, “I would’ve never guessed that.”
“I know it seems a little out there,” he giggled
Seeing that smile paired with that breathy giggle made your heart flutter a bit. You mentally slapped yourself for actually getting charmed by him. This was just a show and he was just doing this for the publicity not to actually get into a relationship. You took another sip of your drink to calm yourself.
“What about your love lives? Have either of you dated before?” the producer asked
“I actually haven’t dated before,” Yanan admitted, “I was too busy with school and training to date.”
“That’s very admirable. I was never good at studying. Then again, I didn’t like it very much,” you laughed
“I never liked studying either.”
The rest of your time together was rather nice. The producer didn’t need to step in anymore to start conversations. The two of you were more than able to keep the conversation going on your own. You even forgot you were filming for a while. It wasn’t until the director called cut that you remembered you were filming something. You and Yanan were shuffled off to your cars and headed to your next destinations. For you that would be your dorms as you were done with your schedule for the day. You barely got to say goodbye to Yanan before you were being carted back to your home. As you were pulling up to the dorms you got a text. A small smile spread across your lips as you realized it was from Yanan.
Y - Hey Y/N
Y - I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I get nervous in front of the cameras
Y/N - Hey, no worries! I get it.
Y/N - I was rather nervous myself 😅
Y - I really enjoyed today, by the way
Y/N - I did too ☺️
Y - ...
You watched the little three dots disappear and reappear on your screen. Even though it made you nervous to watch him continue to type and delete something it was also kind of endearing to see him nervous, like he was trying to impress you. You mentally smacked yourself again trying to get the idea of being something real out of your head.
Y - I can’t wait to see you again
Your heart fluttered when you read the simple text.
Y/N - I can’t wait to see you again too
You shut off your phone and shoved it into your coat pocket. Your mind was a whirlwind of mixed emotions as you walked up to the building where your dorms were located. What have you gotten yourself into?

Goretober D30: Gone - Pentagon
Tumblr media
Pentagon + Gender Neutral Reader
Warnings: Disappearing themes (somewhat explained, not really), stalker themes, forgotten/abandonment themes, yandere themes? at the end kinda.
Word Count: 1,536
You bounded back into the circle of a group with a soft huff. The guys being boisterous as usual. Only to find that the group was one short of the right number, looking around with furrowed brows as you tried to place his face somewhere.
“Guys where’s Jinho? Is he not back yet? I thought he was right here when I left with Wooseok and Yuto?” You ask the carefree ones who turn to you between laughter looking just as confused as you did.
“Who? Y/N no one’s missing. Everyone’s here. Count again. You don’t have to make up some Jinho character just for laughs. You’re funny enough without doing that.” Hoetaek seems rather calm as he speaks as if he had no memory of the missing man. Just like they’d had no memory of Hyojong when you called him up a week ago only to find that he’d disappeared like Jinho now had.
“I’m being serious you guys, something isn’t right. I-I just want to find our friends before anyone else can disappear.” You sigh softly shaking your head as Hongseok places a hand on your shoulder gently.
“Y/N are you okay? This is the second person you made up now? Are these friends of yours from somewhere else?” Wooseok looks at you with soft eyes and you frown softly.
“N-No they’re our friends....I-I just...I-I don’t know why none of you can remember them.” A sudden sharp pang shoots through your head making your vision spotty and you to wince away holding your head in your hands as you stumble back. Calls of your name from the boys as they rush over to keep you from hitting the ground. When you come back to reality you blink your eyes open to find the spot where Wooseok had been standing empty. Jolting you back with a surge of adrenaline as you look around with no luck as you can’t spot him anywhere.
“Woo? Woo, where are you?” You call out frantically looking around until Hongseok catches you in his arms trying to calm you down.
“Alright Y/N I think you’ve had a long day and it’s getting to you, so just rest up for now and let your head and body recover and in the morning we can maybe talk about this some alright?” Hoetaek doesn’t give you much choice after his reasoning words though having Hongseok and Shinwon escort you to your room to promptly get some rest, which after much tossing and turning finally came when you grew too exhausted to fight it any longer. Your fears confirmed when Shinwon woke you for breakfast the next morning only to find one less person than there was supposed to be at the table. Hoetaek’s spot empty of even a table setting.
“Great! Now Hoetaek’s gone too?” Your voice is pressed and sarcastic, on the verge of tears as Yuto looks at you worried.
“Y/N? Who is Hoetaek? What is going on with you? Please....please talk to us.” Concern bleeding into his voice as he steps over to you, looking over you to check if you were alright.
“People from our group keep disappearing and every time they do you all instantly forget who they are. One person and I thought I was losing my mind, but now four people are missing and I’m kind of really freaking out right now.” Your words quake with panic as you try not to entirely lose your mind especially when they already hadn’t been believing you as is.
“If we helped you look would it calm you some? Don’t know that we’ll find anything. Or if we’ll even believe you without finding anything, but we want to make sure you’re alright and if looking with you will help....then maybe we should just try to figure it out together, alright?” Hyunggu offers and you nod appreciative of the fact that even if they didn’t believe you they were still willing to help you in anyway that they can.
“It would. Why don’t we eat and maybe grab somethings that feel useful and we could start looking around for an explanation?” You suggest and no one argues though Changgu’s eyes are watching you closely, something you chalked up to the concern they all had over your condition especially after you nearly collapsed the night before. Gasping and clutching as it happened again, holding your head in pain and looking around. This time you could only watch as Shinwon disappeared between blinks before your very eyes.
“Y/N?” Yanan calls from your side gently rubbing your back, “Do you want any headache medicine or anything?”
“N-No it’s just.....I-I just watched it happen. S-Shinwon is gone now....l-look his cereal is still there.” You point across the table where sure enough Shinwon no longer was, but a half touched bowl of cereal still sat all alone. That enough to get some of their attention at least.
“Okay, that is weird....maybe Y/N is realizing something the rest of us don’t.” Yuto agrees as Yanan moves to clean it up. Before any of you get a chance to go anywhere or do anything though Changgu clears his throat to get everyone’s attention onto him.
“I think the first thing we need to do is take Y/N to the hospital. At the very least Y/N is getting bad head pains and we need to see what is causing that.” Changgu firmly speaks as he stands from the table to come over and help you up just in case the pain early did anything to throw you off.
“Fine, but nothing is wrong with me you’ll see.” You insist with a soft huff, but don’t fight as they help you into the car. Noticing that there’s going to be one less as Yuto has joined the ranks of missing people somewhere along the way to the car. You’re feeling light headed as you get in though, resting your head against Yanan’s shoulder, but afraid to so much as blink in fear that another would be gone once you did at the rate they were vanishing.
Hongseok helped you out upon arrival and as you sit there the pain comes again gaining the attention of the nurses and staff as you grasp Yanan’s hand tightly. Until you feel it fading away, along with the soft spoken man who had been to your left. Your nails soon digging into your palm as you tried to hold onto him, despite it being no use. You were stuck at the hospital with now just the three boys left when you could be out looking for clues as to what was happening to them and trying to get them back to you and that irritated you. Somehow though it was draining you, making it hard to stay up without help and the pain when it came was crippling in nature.  The nurses quick to get you into a bed and an iv with some pain medication in it for you, something that made you extremely drowsy, despite your fighting it.
“If you need to rest Y/N go ahead. It’s alright.” Hyunggu gives you a soft smile and that is enough to lull you to sleep, something you wouldn’t have done had you known he’d be gone by the time you woke again.
“Here drink some water Y/N it might help. We’re still waiting on some test results, but so far they think you’re just too stressed and it’s negatively affecting your body physically.” Hongseok speaks gently, helping you sit up to drink the water he’s offering. Treating you as if your made of glass, which after they say the effect of these head pains on you seemed rather reasonable. Glancing through the glass wall as you sip on the water to see Changgu speaking to the doctor before returning to you two.
“The doctor said you’re free to go for now. But you have to take it easy for a bit or the headaches get any worse then you need to come back.” Changgu tells you and the two are quick to help you as you practically try to leap from the bed unassisted. Hongseok scolding you under his breath for being reckless with your help you to the car and into a leaned back seat so you could rest.
“Oh wait Hongseok, I forgot to ask what...” Your words die as you turn to look where Hongseok had gotten into the car to see he wasn’t there anymore, “Changgu, everyone else is gone we have to figure out what happened to them before it happens to you too.”
“Oh I already know what happened to everyone else Y/N....after all someone had to be behind it didn’t they?” Changgu’s response is so calm and yet something about his tone of voice is eerie, concerning you and making you feel the need to run.
“W-What is that supposed to mean Changgu?” You stutter hoping this was just a residual of whatever meds they had given to you in the hospital.
“I mean I found a way to get rid of them Y/N. They took too much of your attention and now.....now you can give it all to me. It can be just us two, forever.”

Soulmate!Shinwon Au
This is part of a Soulmate!Pentagon series that was requested by an anon: Soulmate!Hongseok / Soulmate!Kino / Soulmate!Yeo One / Soulmate!Jinho / Soulmate!Hui / Soulmate!Yanan / Soulmate!Yuto / Soulmate!Wooseok
Warnings: being lost/disappearing is mentioned once
Pairing: Shinwon x reader
Summary: There is a countdown on your wrist of the number of days left until you meet your soulmate. When your wrist reads ‘0,’ you have 24 hours to find them. If you don’t, then...
Tumblr media
You don’t remember what number the countdown on your wrist was on when you were first born, but you remember it always being there. It wouldn’t rub off or fade and everyday, the number would decrease by one. As you grew older, you were told that it was the number of days that were left until you met your soulmate.
In high school, this topic of ‘the countdown on everyone’s wrist’ was really popular, especially since some people had countdowns that were nearing 0. It started off with only a few of your classmates, but as the years went on, it seemed like everyone’s countdown was in double digits while yours was still on 4 digits.
Watching everyone find their soulmate, you learned something. Apparently, once your countdown reached 0, you only had 24 hours to find them. If you didn’t... Well, no one really knew what would happen, but it wasn’t anything good. The people who didn’t find their soulmate just disappeared and never came back. No one knew where they went or even if they were still alive.
It didn’t sound like it was so difficult to find your soulmate. Since your countdown knew you would meet them on a certain day, then you would automatically find them, right? This wasn’t the case. Some people would meet or see their soulmate but not know it was them. Some people would be too nervous to approach their soulmate.
It was harder than it sounded and it was something that made everyone a little nervous.
It was after high school ended that your countdown finally reached 3 digits. Three years later, it was suddenly in the double digits, meaning your soulmate was about three months away from meeting you.
Finally now, your countdown is on ‘1.’ You used all of the extra years to prepare, listening to as many stories of people meeting their soulmates as you could, watching and reading a lot of romance films and novels, not that it helped, but it was fun. You read up on all of the dos and don’ts and you’re about to make sure you get the best sleep of your life before tomorrow.
Well, it doesn’t turn out to be the best sleep of your life. You’re nervous after all, what can you do?
You calmly step out of your bed and check the window. You’re not going to miss the chance to meet your soulmate, even if they are walking past your window outside.
The window is clear, so you go about your regular morning routine. When you finally leave your house, you act like you’re some sort of spy. You make sure you know exactly who is in your vicinity. There’s two people behind me, three approaching me from across the street.
Some might think you’re going overboard, but all you know is that you are finding your soulmate no matter what.
Several times you stop total strangers because you think they looked at you for too long.
“May I see your wrist please,” you’ll ask, only to find that there is no countdown, meaning the person has already found their soulmate, or that there are still numbers on there that aren’t zero.
You make it to work successfully, not regretting anything. You were so careful about your walk, checking around everywhere, so you know that you definitely haven’t met your soulmate yet.
You work in an office at a company that helps with advertising, usually for fast-food places. Walking to your small desk, you notice that all of your coworkers are nowhere to be found. You take a quick look around and find that everyone is in the meeting room. Oh no, was there an early meeting that I forgot about?!
You quickly run to the meeting room and quietly open the door, tip-toeing to your usual seat... Only to find someone sitting there. While you’re staring at this person, looking confused, one of your coworkers says something.
“Hey, [y/n]! Don’t mind him, he’s the new intern and we brought him in here so he could introduce himself in front of all of us. He sat in your seat by accident,” your coworker quickly explains.
“So there’s no meeting that I’m missing? Just an intern introduction?” You say, walking to find another seat.
“Yep. This is so much better than him walking to all of our desks while we’re working and all of us getting annoyed,” another one of your coworkers says, chuckling.
“Wait but why didn’t you tell him to sit somewhere else? We all have designated seats in here,” you say, feeling slightly annoyed.
“Oh come on, we were all excited to meet him,” another coworker chimes in.
The person sitting next to you, one of your friends in your workplace, nudges your shoulder and whispers, “he’s cute, just let him be.”
You realized you haven’t even taken a good look at him yourself, neither have you introduced yourself. You look at the intern, expecting him to say something.
He’s just smiling and looking around, dazed. He is quite pretty, you have to admit...
“Hello new intern, I’m [y/n],” you say, annoyed that you had to introduce yourself first.
“I’m Shinwon,” he says, kind of quietly. He won’t stop smiling and it’s annoying you a little... because it’s so damn cute... speaking of cute, your soulmate!
You quietly tell your friend beside you about how you need to check everyone’s wrists for their countdown. Your soulmate could be someone you already know, after all! As you walk around checking wrist after wrist and trying not to make a big scene during Shinwon’s introduction, your coworkers try to make conversation with him.
“Actually, today is double special because it’s my first day here, but also,” he says, pausing to pull up one of his sleeves, “it’s the day I’m supposed to meet my soulmate.” He points to the ‘0′ on his wrist and you stop in your tracks. Shinwon is smiling in his seat but the entire room has gone quiet. Most of them have had their wrists checked by your determined self by this point, so they begin to realize something.
“[Y/N], GO TO HIM RIGHT NOW!” your friend yells from next to your empty seat. You’re feeling embarrassed at the fact that everyone knows what is going on and is watching you, but you walk towards Shinwon anyway. He still doesn’t know what’s happening and is nervously laughing, watching as you walk towards him.
It might not be him, you tell yourself. We might both be meeting our soulmates today, but that doesn’t mean we’re soulmates. I’ll know when I stand by him. If the 0 disappears, then he’s the one.
You gently grab his arm which is resting on the table and press his arm against yours.
“What are you doing?” he asks, quietly, nervously laughing.
You stare in shock as the 0 slowly fades from both of your wrists. When Shinwon realizes, his eyes go wide and he looks up at you. With his other hand, he points at you.
“It’s you? You’re my soulmate?” he asks, grinning.
“I guess so,” you say, smiling back at him. Your friend starts clapping from the corner and the entire room joins in. You feel so embarrassed but so happy at the same time.
“No workplace romance is allowed, but I guess the two of you will be an exception!” One of your coworkers says, laughing.

Mingyu Office AU! P8
Hey everyone...as promised, the demise of Mei Wei ♥
Pairing: Reader x Mingyu
Parts:  1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7
Words: 4914 (it was that or I leave you all in a cliffy for another week)
Tumblr media
When Monday morning rolled around you woke up and got ready since you knew Mingyu was going to pick you up. Though you knew you weren’t feeling one hundred percent, you were hoping that no one would notice.
The night before, everyone from the hospital including Yanan but you were surprised to see that Mei Wei was nowhere in sight and Luhan had informed you that she had something else to do with her family and though you spent most of your time under Mingyu’s watch, you could tell Yanan wanted to talk to you more but knew that Jun, Minghao and Mingyu played good distractions.
When your doorbell rung, you opened the door surprised to see Mingyu on the other side since he normally waited for you downstairs. You looked at him confused when his smile turned into a frown and he placed a hand on your forehead and compared it to his. Before you knew it, you were being pushed back into your apartment and he set you on the couch and covered you in blankets before he made his way to the kitchen where he took out his phone as he started going through your cabinets.
“She still has a slight temperature, I’m going to make her some soup and we’ll be in at lunch. Can you let Josh and Jihoon know?” you could hear him talk to who you assumed was Minghao.
“No it’s not that high but its enough for me to want to keep her here for a little while. Jihoon Isn't telling everyone till the staff meeting this afternoon anyways so we’ll be there.” he responded to Minghaos question. “Thanks man, we’ll see you later.”
Mingyu then came out of the kitchen with a wet cloth and gently placed it on your forehead and gave you a smile which you hesitantly returned. How did he know?
“You can’t fool me silly.” he said, “I was worried your temperature would rise again since everyone decided to come over and I wasn’t wrong. Didn’t you know you were running late? I was waiting for almost ten minutes. When you didn’t come out, I decided to come in and check on you.”
You looked at him shocked before looking down frowning, “I...didn’t realise...I’m sorry Gyu…”
He lifted your chin up and smiled softly at you, “It’s okay. It gives us more time to spend together before we face the music.” he answered leaning down to peck your lips softly, “Rest for a while kay? I’ll go make you some soup before we go in this afternoon.”
“You...cook?” you asked and he nodded and put his finger to his lips as he winked at you.
“It’s my secret talent.” he said, “Don’t tell anyone.” he then puffed your pillows and made sure you were comfortable before he took off his suit jacket and went to the kitchen where you could hear various things going on.
You closed your eyes as you gave into the tiredness you felt.
About an hour and a half later, Mingyu peeked out of the kitchen and smiled as he saw you sleeping. He poured a glass of water and placed your medicine on a tray with the soup he had just finished and brought it out to you.
Smelling something delicious, your eyes slowly opened and you saw Mingyu standing over you with a tray.
He gently placed it down on the coffee table and handed you the water and your medication.
“Here take this first and then have some soup.” he said as you gulped down the medication and he sat next to you on the couch and gently rested the tray in your lap before watching you take your first bite.
As the soup touched your tongue, your eyes widened at the taste and you couldn’t help the words that left your mouth.
“You made this?”
Mingyu pretended to look offended, “Does it taste that bad?” he asked though he knew you were thinking otherwise.
“No, not at all” you answered. ‘Definitely better then my lawn home cooking’ you thought to yourself as you took another bite and not too long later you were finished the bowl.
Mingyu took the tray away and the two of you spent the remainder of the morning together cuddling and talking. Mingyu made sure you rested and right before you prepared to leave, he checked your temperature once more and was satisfied that you were getting better. He checked your arm and helped you change your bandages before the two of you were out the door and on your way to the office.
The two of you walked into the lobby side by side and you were surprised to see Jihoon standing with Yanan and Luhan as if they were waiting for the two of you.
“There you guys are.” Jihoon said, “Are you okay?” he asked looking at you though his voice held concern.
“I would’ve been in this morning had he” you nudged Mingyu, “Let me go.”
“Yes and watch as you pass out in front of everyone. Every boyfriends dream.” Mingyu deadpanned before looking at Jihoon and the other two. “Were you waiting for the two of us?”
The group shook their heads.
“The S.A’s of the seventeeth floor and I took them out for lunch and we were just getting back to meet with Seungcheol and Jeonghan for the tour.” Jihoon explained, “But you arrived at the perfect time anyways. I need to speak with you before the staff meeting Mingyu. Y/N, do you mind taking Yanan and Luhan to meet with Seungcheol so they can begin their tour?”
You nodded your head obediently and you turned to Mingyu with a nod though you could tell his eyes showed uncertainty with leaving you with the two.
“You can leave them with me Ji.” you stated.
“Great, we’ll meet up with you guys after we talk. Y/N remember, you’ll be reporting to your project team today until it’s completed so once you’re done with those two and Seungcheol,go find Joshua. He should be expecting you.” Jihoon explained as Mingyu reached into your bag to pull out your phone confusing the group.
After pressing a few buttons, he grinned and placed the phone back in your bag making you look at him with confusion.
“It’s almost time for your meds so I set an alarm on your phone so you wouldn’t forget” he said as he reached into his bag to get the said medication, “Like how you forgot to bring it with you in the first place.”
You smiled sheepishly at him as Jihoon tsked.
“Wow, it’s like Mingyu became a completely different person.” he said before looking at the two men from the China office, “I’ll leave you with Y/N now. I believe the rest of the group should be upstairs waiting for you both. Mingyu, if you would follow me.”
With one last look, you and Mingyu parted ways leaving you, Luhan and Yanan in the lobby.
Turning around you gave the two men a smile which they returned.
“How are you feeling?” Luhan asked as you lead them towards the elevator.
“Better, Mingyu made me rest this morning hence why we’re just getting in now.” you explained as you pressed the button for the elevator.
“Joshua told us when we all met up for lunch. He told us that Mingyu told Minghao that you still had a slight temperature.” Luhan gave you a side glance, “You always fought with us when it came to your health and your relationship with the office and yet Mingyu can keep you at home with just one word?”
“More like by force” you muttered to yourself thinking about how he left you no choice when he felt your temperature.
Yanan, who had been listening to the whole conversation noticed the small smile on your face as you spoke about Mingyu and couldn’t help but feel his heart clench, though he had seen a few photos of you and him you kept around your apartment, he noted they were all from your interning days before you two had gotten close.
“Where’s Mei Wei?” you asked suddenly and Yanan answered.
“She had a teleconference with her father about something and since she isn’t in a high position, she didn’t have to attend today.”
“Ah...well that saves Kyulkyung some bloodshed” you stated lightly and Yanan looked at you with confusion, why would Kyulkyung want to hurt Mei Wei?
As you exited the elevator, Joshua told you that Seungcheol and Jeonghan were waiting for them in the breakroom to start so back to the elevator and down to the sixteenth floor and told you to come back up once Seungcheol let you go.
What you weren’t expecting was to exit the elevator and walk into Nayeon who just so happened to be standing by the doors with a hot cup of liquid in her hand which spilled over the arm you had with the stitches on it which was covered by a blazer.
You took a sharp intake of breath as Luhan and Yanan both looked at you with concern as they saw the steaming liquid make contact with your arm and both were about to say something when Nayeon gasped.
“Oh my goodness Y/N I am so sorry.” she said and looked at you with false concern as Seungcheol and Jeonghan came forward immediately, “You should be more careful next time.”  she then giggled and walked towards her friend.
“What the heck was she doing by the elevator when she was having coffee?” you heard Yanan mutter to himself and you turned to Luhan and he got the message right away.
Another Mei Wei. He then muttered to Yanan in Chinese, “That was no accident.” he motioned to Nayeon who was now laughing with a few other girls from what he assumed was her department and the two realized that she had no reason to be near the elevator but saw the looks they had when Kyulkyung walked over to the group and ordered them to get back to work.
“Do you think Seungcheol pays you all to drink coffee for two hours every day?” she asked her hands on her hips, a glare evident.
“Are you okay?” Seungcheol  asked automatically after seeing the collision, “We heard that you still had a temperature” he put a hand to your forehead and could feel a cold sweat forming and he looked at you with concern, “Y/N…?”
Managing to hold face despite how much pain your arm was in you answered, “I’m fine. Jihoon ambushed Gyu and I in the lobby and asked me to bring these two to find you.” you responded though your voice seemed strained and he picked up on it right away. “May I please be excused?” you asked as the pain started to get worse and you wondered how hot the liquid really was and you needed to get to the bathroom fast..
Seungcheol nodded his head and looked around and saw Chan talking to one of the interns and motioned him over.
“Make sure Y/N gets upstairs and find Joshua right away.” he instructed and Chan nodded.
“I’ll be fine Cheol.” you stated but Seungcheol gave you a don’t even question it so stay quiet look. “Fine…”
“Let’s go Y/N, I think Dahyuns already with Joshua.” he said holding your injured arm lightly causing you to flinch automatically. “Y/N?”
“I’m fine.” you managed to get out  and then turned to look at Luhan and Yanan, “I’ll see you both later.”
The two nodded, “Take it easy.” they said simultaneously and with that you were on your way back to the seventeenth floor.
Luhan then turned to Seungcheol who seemed to already look pissed off. “That wasn’t an accident.”
“I know, we’ve been waiting for something like this to happen for a while now.” Seungcheol stated, “I’ll leave Jeonghan to give you and your team the tour and we’ll all meet in the boardroom after for quick meeting with my senior team. I have important business I have to deal with.”
With a nod,Seungcheol turned around and made his way to Kyulkyung, “A word please.” he ordered with his authoritative voice.
Kyulkyung looked at Seungcheols face and it was one she never had to see often but knew the look.  “Of course, shall we step into your office?”
Meanwhile, you had excused yourself once you got to the Seventeen floor and made a beeline for the bathroom where you were finally able to let yourself go and you found yourself clenching your arm in pain and you gingerly peeled off your blazer revealing a giant red mark.
“Shit.” you muttered and heard a gasp from behind you only to see Dahyun.
“Y-Y/N, are you okay?” she asked her face filled with genuine concern. She looked at the wet bandages on your arm and the swelling that had started to form around it. “You arm!” she gasped  covering her mouth with one of her hands.
You gave her a tired but strained smile, “I’m fine.” you reassured, “I had a small accident yesterday and then another one in the breakroom just now. I think my bodys just tired.”
“D-do you need anything? Should I get Josh?” she asked and you shook your head but leaned back on the counter and started to slowly unwrap your bandages and you cursed. It looked like the hot liquid had managed to make it through the thick layer of gauze Mingyu had put on to cushion the wound and the area around it had a few blisters forming, just how hot was the liquid?
“Do you think you can grab my bag from my desk? I think I put some extra gauze and wrap in there and it’s about time I take my medication.” you said and Dahyun nodded automatically.
“It’s the blue one right?” she asked and you nodded with a tight smile as you took a paper towel and ran it under cold water before slowly dabbing the area while Dahyun went to look for your bag.
When she got outside, she saw Mingyu coming out  of the elevator with Jihoon and Nayeon who for the life of her could not figure out why she was on the seventeenth floor attach herself to Mingyu’s arm.
“Gyu!! I heard about the promotion…” Nayeon said happily, “Congratulations!”
Mingyu gave Nayeon a tight smile as his eyes skimmed the area for your whereabouts, “Thank you.”
Dahyun rolled her eyes. Since Kyulkyung had given her the project assignment the Friday before, she decided to separate herself from the group so she could focus on the promotion she was working towards. Though Nayeon was trying for the same, her efforts seemed to be zeroing in on causing you pain and getting Mingyu for herself but if Dahyun could confirm what she said a week prior, then Nayeon was literally sabotaging herself.
She quickly picked up your bag and went back to the bathroom.
“Thanks” you said and sifted through the bag and groaned. Mingyu must’ve put the extra gauze and wrap in his bag.
“Is everything okay?” Dahyun asked and noticed the redness of your arm, “Should I get you an icepack?”
Reluctantly, you nodded, “The bandages are probably in Mingyu’s bag…” you said and silently cursed knowing that he was expecting to change your bandages at some point during the day. “Can you help me put my blazer over my shoulder?”
“Of course.” Dahyun said gently lifting the other side of your blazer and gently placing it over your shoulder without touching your arm.
“Thanks” you said and tried to take your bag back from Dahyun but she insisted that she could hold it for you.
When you exited the bathroom, you were shocked to see Nayeon, the cause of this with Mingyu and you couldn’t help but feel the burning increase in your arm and looked down to see one big swollen patch.
“Let’s go out for dinner tonight. My trea-” Nayeon was cut off when Mingyu walked away from her and making a beeline towards you and Dahyun. “Mingyu?’
She turned her head to see you and Dahyun by the bathroom door surrounded by various associates of the seventeenth floor and you being lead by Joshua and Jihoon to your desk to sit down.
What broke her heart was when everyone stepped aside to let Mingyu pass and the concern in his eyes was evident even from this far and suddenly, her hatred for you grew.
Everyone on the seventeenth floor had heard about your accident from the previous day and were all concerned now that they saw the extent of your injuries. What were you doing here? Shouldn’t you have been at home resting?
Jihoon and Joshua were at the front inspecting your arm which you reluctantly let them since they weren’t going to let you go anywhere and you had a suspicion that you may be sent home for the day.
“Where’s Mingyu?” Jihoon asked as he saw the swelling increase along with the blistering, “Get me an icepack.” he instructed Dahyun who nodded.
“Right here. What the heck happened?” Mingyu asked sitting in the chair next to yours as he gently peeled back your blazer and gasped as he saw how red your arm was.
“I don’t think I’m liked very much at this office.” you stated softly as you made eye contact with Nayeon whose eyes were filled with hatred.
“What do you-” Mingyu started and then followed your eyes to see Nayeon who realized Mingyu was looking at her and changed her gaze automatically and he resisted to growl. Not another one. “Jihoon, can we use your office?”
Jihoon nodded and gave Mingyu the key.
Mingyu then helped you up and went into Jihoons office where he sat you down once more and started to apply the burn cream from the first aid kit that Joshua had given him making you wince before he started wrapping your arm up again with the gauze and wrap he had in his bag.
“Does it hurt?” he asked as he gently applied the icepack that Dahyun had brought him.
You nodded.
Mingyu chuckled, “I really can’t let you out of my sight can I..” he said softly and you shrugged your shoulders.
“I guess not.” you gave him a small smile back. “At least it wasn’t a vase this time.”
“But you still  got injured because of someone else. What happened?” he asked and you told him everything and Mingyu groaned.
“My boyfriend is a ladies man.” you stated, “I guess this is going to be something I have to get used to?”
“No, because I won’t let it happen again” Mingyu stated, “I told you, I’ll protect you at whatever costs and the tormenting from Nayeon stops now whatever it takes. I’m sure Seungcheol will deal with it. I saw him talking to Kyulkyung in his officer earlier.”
Looking out the window of Jihoon office towards the main office area you noticed someone else had come up with the tour.
“Let’s hope so… I don’t think I can handle two tormentors in one day” you said nodding as Mei Wei finally made her entrance, a scowl on her face.
When you and Mingyu finally exited, the scowl turned into a smirk and she said something loud enough for everyone to hear.
“Isnt it great Yanan? Y/N will finally be able to join our office again!”
This automatically turned heads around you and you groaned leaning on Mingyu for support. You were done, “I should’ve stayed home today..”
Mingyu snickered next to you, “you aren’t worried about her statement?” He whispered in your ear and you shook your head.
“Why would I be? I terminated my old contract with the China office and got hired by your office. The transfer was a cover up” you whispered back as you made eye contact with Luhan who looked pissed off. “And everyone is going to find out right now. I’m sick of this princess playing innocent.”
You clenched your fist and broke away from Mingyu and started towards the group that just arrived.
“What do you mean Mei Wei?” You asked dumbly and saw the look of shock that crossed her face and the smirk that made its way into it.
“I reported you to my father and he said because you violated your contract that you must return to the China office immediately” Mei Wei stated with her arms crossed and you looked at Luhan who was ready to say something but your look to him told him back off.
“Really…” you said looking down and let out a sigh. “Would your father happen to know why I “transferred” offices by chance?”
“Of course, Daddy gave the Senior Associate position to my Yanan so he could help me run the company one day.” she answered and you tried not to laugh as you heard Yanan whisper.
“Your Yanan?”
Nodding slowly  you decided to put an end to the situation and stepped closer so your face was right in front of hers and though she kept that smirk on her face and you could that Kyulkyung and Seungcheol had stepped out of his office and Seungcheol was suddenly holding Kyulkyung back and you gave Seungcheol an apologetic look.
Jun and Minghao were on the sidelines not wanting to interfere with an angry you and you could see the rest of your friends watching as well along with the Senior Associates of the China office behind Luhan so you spoke as quiet as you could.
“Gave...what if I told you that the Senior Associate position was offered to me FIRST and I turned it DOWN because I wasn’t going to be manipulated anymore. Don’t think I’m stupid Mei Wei, there was a reason I was promoted before you and your little group were.” you said through gritted teeth, “My contract was REWRITTEN when I left so that all ties with that office were cut. You have zero right to be making stories up when I know what I signed on paper.” you took a deep breath and prepared for the repercussions of what you were about to say.
“You weren’t even supposed to take over the company and you and I both know that. Your father was going to give it to Luhan after he retired since you had no experience in our field whatsoever and he was going to leave you nothing but a tiny penny. You couldn’t handle that so you had to get your hands on the top associate of the company. You made your daddy promise that if you stayed with the company until he retired, you would inherit it but last I heard, nothings changed and the company will still go to Luhan cause what your daddy found out not too long ago was that...you’re not even his biological daughter. To him, you are nothing but another employee living off his money.” you finished and you felt a sting cross your face as those around you gasped.
“Y/N!” you heard a few people around you gasp as you shook your head.
“You little bitch...you know nothing about my family. I’ve worked hard to get to where I am and all you had to do was bat your little eye lashes at Luhan and you got whatever you wanted.” Mei Wei said seething and you could see the anger in her eyes.
“Yes cause batting my eye lashes caused my torment during my last year at your office. I know things that you don’t want me to know Mei Wei, things you don’t want anyone else to know about. I can’t even believed I put my life on the line for you yesterday, what a joke. The reason this is happening is because you decided to show your face and stick your claws into my boyfriend.” you felt another sting to your face and you could hear Kyulkyung screech wanting to give Mei Wei what she deserved long ago.
Mingyu stood behind you the whole time and when Mei Wei slapped you the first time, he was surprised Yanan didn’t do anything considering he claimed that the two of you were close. He knew you were at your breaking point with everything that happened and you were slowly letting it out. When Mei Wei slapped you a second time, he tried to pull you back by your uninjured arm but you held your place.
“Truth hurts doesnt it?” you asked her with a twisted smirk before you walked towards the elevator, there was no way you were going to stay here any longer after this and thankfully, the elevator was right there.
You turned to Dahyun and gave her a soft tired smile, “Thank you for earlier. I really appreciate it.” you said quietly, “We’ll have to move our project meeting to tomorrow if that’s okay.”
The said girl nodded amazed that you were still able to hold yourself together after something like this. Though she didn’t hear the conversation, she did see you get slapped twice and suddenly, she admired you more than ever since your professionalism was above and beyond.
“I’ll see you tomorrow. Have a good night.” she said softly and you patted her shoulder before going into the elevator leaving everyone else in shock. Seungcheol was the first to break himself of his shock and a voice full of authority came out.
“Everyone get back to work, Jeonghan take the visitors into the boardroom and Mingyu...you know what to do.”
Seungcheol then turned to Luhan who looked like petrified at Seungcheols voice, “VP Lu, if you would have a word.”
You were halfway out the doors when you realized that you had forgotten your bag and reluctantly made your way back to the office but was stopped when Yanan came out of the elevator, his face contorted with anger.
“You had no right to say those things to Mei Wei.” he said right away and you looked at him with mild shock. After everything, he was still defending that witch.  “She did nothing wrong. All she wanted was for you to join our office again. Can’t you see that everyone misses you? And besides, transfers are tied to their original contract. She’s right.”
“I’m sorry I stood up for myself.” you stated “And did you not hear anything that I said? Yanan. I quit the company when I rejected the Senior Associate position BECAUSE I was being tormented to give it up for YOU. I signed with the Seoul office, its an exclusive contract only to them” Your eyes narrowed at him, “What the heck did I see in you all those years ago.” you muttered and the elevator dinged once more and you saw Mingyu with your purse in hand. “Excuse me.” you said starting to walk towards the doors once more knowing Mingyu would find you eventually.
“We aren’t done here Y/N” Yanan said grabbing your hand but he was pulled back roughly by Mingyu who grabbed him by the shoulder and pinned him against the wall, anger obvious on his face.
“Touch my girlfriend again and you’ll regret it” he growled.
Yanan looked at Mingyus features and had never seen someone so angry and protective.
“You can’t do anything. I can have you fired. Or  did you forget your rank.” Yanan stated with a smirk but winced when Mingyu pushed him harder against the wall.
“You think I give a fuck about rank after what just happened up there? This is personal now.” he growled. “Stay away from my girlfriend. This is your only warning.”
“Or what? You’ll mess me up?” Yanan asked sarcastically and winced once more this Mingyu guy had a really good grip.
“No, I dont resort to violence like you do.” Mingyu answered and he whispered to Yanan, “But people will know that you slept your way to the position you’re in right now if you know what I mean.” He then let Yanan go and the latter fell to the floor.
“If I see you try to get in contact with Y/N again, you’ll regret it. Remember, our office is protective of their own and I’m not the only one who knows and you might want to go check on your little girlfriend, I saw Seungcheol let Kyulkyung go and I know she’s been in a bad mood today.” Mingyu finished before running to catch up with you which thankfully wasn’t far. You were actually leaning against his car which he was thankful since you didn’t run off.
He approached you with caution, “Hey..”
When you turned around, he was shocked to see all the emotions running through your eyes and he found himself pulling you against him as you finally let the tears fall and all he could do for the time being was hold you as he felt your tiny hands clench the back of his shirt bringing you as close as you could to him.
He placed a kiss on top of your head and whispered soothing words to you. He knew you were hurting and he hated it. Once this was all over he was going to sweep you away for a weekend, just the two of you.

____
“Um...hey…” I swallowed hard, my throat still dry from sleep and nervousness building. “What’s everybody doing here?”
“Well we live here so….” Kino took a bite of the cereal from the bowl he was holding. “What are you doing here...in Hui’s room?” He asked with his mouth full.
I adjusted the scarf around my neck. “I need to get to class.”
“Oh, honey, it’s 8 at night.” Hui came over to me and smoothed out my bedhead. “You were so tired I didn’t want to wake you up.”
“HUI! I needed to go to class! It’s my dance class! My professor is going to kill me.” I groaned.
Hui wrapped his arms around me. “Sometimes you have to put yourself first. I’m glad that you slept in. Do you want to hang with us? I was just about to kick Hongseok’s butt in Mario Kart.”
Hongseok looked up quickly when he heard his name. His eyes caught mine for a second before darting over to Hui’s. “It’s hilarious that you think you’re that talented. Stick to singing.”
Time had passed and there was no reason for me to fuss over something I couldn’t go back and fix. I would just have to get chewed out next class. I needed to focus on what was going on currently- me being an animal trapped in a cage surrounded by the men that made my mind, body, and soul go crazy. Their curious stares were still kicking my nerves into overdrive and I wanted to shift the attention back to their brotherly banter. I patted Hui’s chest and sighed. “He’s right, Hui. You couldn’t beat anyone at Mario Kart. You’re always last place.” I teased. He made an adorable pout and whined at me for taking Hongseok’s side.“Besides, everyone knows that I’m the champ and no one has beaten my streak yet.”
Hyojong looked straight at me and had the audacity to final utter any communication my way. “Why don’t you put your money where your mouth is?” That was all he had to say? My brows furrowed in anger.
“Why don’t you learn how to text people instead of just using them?” I spat back at him.
Hongseok traded glances between Hyo and I, a look of confusion on his face. “Am I missing something?”
“No,” Hyojong replied. “It’s nothing at all.” He avoided looking at me now as my eyes were filled with hurt and bitterness.“
Hongseok seemed to take that answer though he was still unsure of the whole situation and I wanted to keep it that way. He rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled nervously. “Well, you’re more than welcome to stay and play with us.”
I shook my head. “No, I wish I could but I should really get back to my dorm.” That was my blatant excuse for not wanting to be surrounded by the men I fucked and the one I wanted to fuck but couldn’t. “I've got a lot of things to catch up on.”
Hui rubbed my back gently, his overbearing nature poking through. “Do you want me to walk you back?”
“I’ll be okay, don’t worry about me.” I kissed his cheek before grabbing my backpack and dealing with the awkwardness of goodbyes. Seeing Hyo again really hurt, especially since he hadn’t even acknowledged me in class and his only words to me now were related to a game. It was too casual and felt like he didn’t give a damn about me at all. I couldn’t deal with it all at once. I was halfway down the hall when I felt a presence appear beside me. I glanced over and saw the devil himself which made me roll my eyes.
“Hey.” he said rather softly. I didn’t answer him and continued walking, increasing my speed a little. That didn’t deter him and he stayed quick on my heels. “They caught me up on what's going on with you.”
My jaw set in anger. “Nothing is going on with me. You’re the one that forgot we were friends and didn’t bother to talk to me all summer. Now we’re stuck in the same class and working on a stupid project together. I know where I stand with you, Hyo.”
“No, I don’t think you do but you sure seemed to have gotten back on track with Kino and Hui.” He quipped.
I stopped and whipped around, almost crashing into him. “Hui knows how to treat people kindly and is working towards rebuilding our friendship. I wouldn’t say I’m back on track with Kino just because we slept together. He’s still an asshole but you’re an even BIGGER asshole!”
“I am not an asshole. I was busy and I’m sorry that my life didn’t revolve around answering you back. I don’t want us to be fighting, ok? I do want us to be friends again. I don’t want you to think that you aren’t important to me because you are. It was a bit hectic back home.”
“If you want to be friends so bad then start acting like it and stop acting like I’m an inconvenience.”.
He slipped his e-cig out of his pocket and took a deep drag off it. He exhaled slowly, the smoke pouring out of his nose and mouth. “I’m sorry. Things were...they weren’t easy for me to deal with when I went back. A lot of stuff went on that I can’t exactly talk about.”
I scoffed and rolled my eyes. “i'm glad everyone has excuses.”
“Look,” He took another drag. “I’m ready to move on with you. We have good chemistry; musically, sexually, platonically. I know i messed up but would you please give me another chance?”
That was a difficult decision. The rationality in my brain was telling me that I shouldn’t give in a third time but my heart and body wanted to fall into his trap. He was also right in some ways. When we made music together it was amazing. Our raps were pristine and his beats showcased how much of a genius he was. I loved the way we sounded. Avoiding him was going to be almost impossible with this project. I dreaded us working together but parts of me were still excited to spend time with him. I was basically defeated in the war against myself
“We'll work together for the sake of the grade, ok?” I stated, deciding that was the best solution I could come up with for now. I would try my damndest to not let it go further than that but there were no guarantees. ‘But once someone hurts me I'm not quick to trust them again.”
Hyojong took my hand in his and placed a kiss on my knuckles. “I’ll work hard, on the project and on getting you to trust me again. I promise.”
“Yeah, yeah….” I sighed and gave his hand a small squeeze before resuming my walk. He kept my hand in his and stayed beside me. “We can set up a day to work on it. Oh, I just thought of something. Have you heard from the others? Yuto, Shinwon, Yeo One, you know?” Our friends had returned back to their home countries once the spring semester was over. My conversations with them were sporadic at best due to the time difference but I was at least able to stay in contact with them.
Hyojong nodded and explained that he had classes with a few of them. There were fortunately gaps of time where we could band together and have lunch or practice which i was ecstatic about. “I'll make a group chat in Line for us and invite you.”
I smiled. “That sounds good. I can’t wait to talk to them. Yanan told me he’s been really sick ever since he got back to China and almost didn’t make it back for this semester. I checked in on him a few times but I still want to see him.”
Hyo nodded and stopped as we arrived at my dorm. We stood in front of the large glass doors, readying our goodbyes. “I’ll set it up tonight, ok?” He promised.
I nodded and pulled my keycard out of my backpack. “I'll probably be up all night since i took that nap but what else is new. My sleep schedule is always shit. Dance club is tomorrow too and hip hop club is the day after. I'll just die, it's fine.”
He chuckled. “You wont die. Just don’t wear yourself out so much. I don’t want you to get sick.”
“Is this you trying to care about me?”
He stepped closer so that our bodies were almost touching. “I'll always care about you, dumbass.” He took another drag and before I could even retort, his slender fingers wrapped around my chin and pulled me to his lips. He shared the smoke between us in a small stream, reminiscent of our first hookup. It still made my knees weak as did his slow kiss that followed. I pushed him away gently.
“D-don't do that.”
“Why?” He whispered in a seductive voice that was dangerously enticing. He knew exactly why he shouldn’t do such a thing but decided to tease me anyway.
I swallowed hard. “You'll make me want to take you upstairs and do bad things to you.” I admitted.
“I like bad things. I especially like when you do them to me.” He tried to give me another kiss but managed to jerk my head away quickly.
“No! No.” I commanded both myself and Hyo. “I'm going upstairs now. Away from you. Go home, E'Dawn.” I swiped my card in quickly, not giving him a chance to protest or worse- seduce me, and ran through the doors getting away from him before i ripped his clothes off and fucked him hard.
____
Later on that evening, I was bent over my laptop typing up some parts of my research paper. My roommate was asleep and I was trying not to disturb her. Our room lights remained off and I was left to strain my eyes against the minimal light of my screen. Suddenly, my phone vibrated beside me and I saw chat bubbles pop onto the screen. Hyo was adding every one to the group chat as he said he would. It was slow going at first, as expected since it was late at night, but soon enough a few of them started to respond. Each time I got a new notification it was a moment of saving grace. My brain was starting to fry after working on this stupid paper for so long and I was only five pages in.
Another vibration signaled a new chat altogether. I recognized the tiny profile pic as Hongseok and my heart skipped a bit. Holy shit, what was I going to do?! Of course I accepted his request but I was nervous and unaware of what I should actually say.
Hongseok: Hi :)
uh, hey. How are you?
Hongseok: I’m good, what are you still doing awake?!
I cant really sleep now after that giant ‘nap’ i took this afternoon so I’m working on my paper. What r u still doing up?
Hongseok: Studying:( i have a test in two days and im worried i will fail.
He seemed so proper when he texted. I didn't want to look like a complete illiterate fool.
What class is it for?
Hongseok: History of European Music. It's kind of boring, ha ha.
I took that class. I think i still have my notes from it. Do you want to take a look at them? Also do you always type like that?
It felt weird for me to text so grammatically correct.
Hongseok: Like what?
Like all perfect with your grammar and everything.
Hongseok:  Oh, sorry. It just helps me keep up with my English. Sometimes I can be a bit rusty.
Oh, I see! I was just wondering. it’s kind of cute...
I hit send before I could take it back and internally hit myself. I wasn’t supposed to do that. I wasn’t supposed to flirt with him. Would he even see it as flirting? He didn’t respond for awhile and I started to panic, thinking that I had somehow offended him. I flopped back onto my bed, trying not to check my phone every so often but ultimately failing. Still nothing had come through so I decided to try and get back to my paper. I made it about three more paragraphs before my phone finally vibrated again. I scooped it up quickly and smiled when I saw his name pop up again.
Hongseok: Sorry, i was showering. But if you’d like we could try meeting tomorrow?
Ok, so he didn’t completely sound upset that i called him cute. It wasn't entirely an accident that I called him cute but him ignoring the comment in general was a little heart breaking.
Sure. I can meet you somewhere. I get out of class around 2?
Hongseok: Two works for me. Is the library, ok? We can go back to the top floor.
Oh lord...the library.
Yep! That sounds good.
Hongseok: Amazing. Have a great night :)
That seemed to be the end of our conversation which also disappointed me. I didn’t know what exactly I wanted the outcome to be of our talk but at least we were getting somewhere as friends. A study session would be fine as a first hang out. I just had to keep telling myself that it was purely platonic.
_____
I sat uncomfortably staring at the table that I had been fucked on just a few days before. The ache in my hips was just starting to go away but the urge to feel Kino again seemed to be coming back. My mind swirled with memories of being bent over and feeling Kino’s cock relentlessly fill me. It was the most perfect sensation and- my thoughts were cut short when I heard a voice coming nearer.
“Sorry, i’m late.” Hongseok huffed as he pulled back the seat beside me and sat down. “My vocal lesson ran over and I rushed here are fast as I could. I didn’t want you to think I had forgotten about you.”
I cleared my throat and tried not to be too obvious in my blushing. I didn’t think I could ever be mad at him even if he was late. I didn’t mind at all and I was definitely grateful for the distraction from my barrage of Kino thoughts. “You didn’t have to rush. I was totally fine with waiting. I haven’t really been here that long anyway.” I pulled out my tattered spiral notebook from my backpack and set it between us. “Sorry it’s a little torn up but the notes should still be fine. If you need help studying i got you. I got a B.”
He chuckled and smiled that perfectly stunning smile at me. “I might take you up on that offer. I don’t know why I can’t seem to grasp any of the concepts. Maybe I’ve just been distracted or something.”
“Distracted?” I asked. “By what?”
Hongseok avoided me and instead looked down at my notebook, flipping through some of the pages. “Um...I’m not sure. Maybe just all the TA stuff…”
“Yeah, you do have a lot on your plate. But you’ll make it. I know you will.” I smiled at him and scooted my chair a little closer. “Here, what Unit are you on? I should remember most of what we discussed. Tell me what you need help with.”
Hongseok licked his lips and rubbed this palms over his thighs. I noticed our knees had touched briefly when I moved in closer but I didn’t really think much of it. What I did notice was the faint smell of his cologne lingering on the collar of his shirt, the same he had worn when we first met at the library. It was the perfect scent to get wrapped up in. I realized that he hadn’t said anything then and wondered if he had even heard me. “Hongseok?”
“Oh, right, yes!” He seemed to have snapped himself out of whatever distraction was capturing his attention. “So, I’m having trouble with this.”
We sat huddled together for hours as I explained whatever I could remember from the course. Every once in awhile i would catch him staring at me and I didn’t know what to make of it. I was over thinking about what I felt made me unattractive, wondering if that was why he was staring so much. I questioned if my breath stunk, if i needed more deodorant, if my hair was turning into a mess. I had been twirling it in my fingers it in for awhile now and had probably made everything frizzy. However, in the midst of studying, or conversations started veering which provided me a bit of relief. Questions about music class switched to comparisons of Avenger superheroes. He was such an Ironman fanboy and I argued that Hulk and Thor were much better. He said that I only liked them because Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth were attractive and I had to school him in my knowledge of comics. It only made him laugh and smile more which made my body seem like it was radiating warmth. That laugh was infectious and made my insides bubble with excitement. I didn’t want anything to end with him but soon after Hongseok noticed the time on his watch.
“I would love to stay and talk to you more but I’ve got to get going. I have one more class coming up in a few minutes.” He stood up and gathered the notes we worked on and stuffed them into his backpack. “It was um...” He swallowed hard. “I had a really nice time with you. Would you want to maybe help me study again sometime?”
I agreed a little too quickly, absolutely ecstatic that he wanted to hang out again. “Yeah, of course! I would love to. Just let me know when you’re free next.” Could I sound any more thirsty?
“Will do.” He gave me one last smile before getting up from his seat and heading over to the elevator. I stood behind and set my head on the table once he disappeared. Why was he so damn beautiful? I guess I was a masochist because I loved just piling on one exchange student after the other to make my life a living hell. I was also becoming a pathological liar to myself. No matter how many times I told myself not to get involved with anyone else I would still go and do it. Sometimes I wondered why I was trying to get my Bachelor’s Degree in music when I could just get it in “Roping Gorgeous Men into My Life that I Don’t Need” Studies. Tuition was free and I was already getting stellar grades.
____
I stood face to face with the bane of my existence, staring him down as i was ready to destroy his ego little by little. Our groups had been chosen by our dance club to do the usual after-lesson battle. We were the leaders and I was determined to have my girls go harder than ever. I wanted to drop him down a few pegs and remind him that he was nothing to me (no matter how much of a lie that was). I squatted down to stretch out my hamstrings and popped my gum obnoxiously. “Try not to get a boner, Kino. It’s just a dance battle.” i teased.
“Try not to squirt all over the floor this time.” he spat back with a wink. I rolled my eyes at him and scoffed.
“Pig!” My teammate shouted to him.
“Shut it and pick.” He rolled his eyes and gestured towards the coin we had to make the decision for us. “Heads or tails.”
“Oh, we don’t need to pick.” We’ll go first. Song is ‘Swalla’. Watch and learn boys.” I said.
He scoffed. “Boring and overplayed.”
I ignored him as our fellow club member started the song. Room was made for the dancers and we settled into our beginning moves. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Hui within the crowd. I hadn’t expected him to come but he was already clapping and cheering in excitement. It made me smile and become much more confident as I landed each body roll and pop. Kino was quick to retaliate with his own teasing moves that were a bit sharper than mine. He worked his way over to me, adding a few body rolls of his own while lifting his shirt and sticking his tongue out. I wanted to roll my eyes into the next century at his fuckboy ways.
Oh so you want to play dirty then?
When our team switched turns i danced closer to Kino, bouncing my ass and dropping low into a split, which got a lot of cheers from the crowd. I danced my way back up to my feet and bent over at my waist, shaking my ass a little more. The rules were that the teams couldn’t touch each other while dancing but we could sure as hell gets as close as we could. I could tell he probably wanted to smack my ass to get me to move away but had to be a good boy. I looked out into the crowd and saw Hui biting his lip. He probably just came here to see my ass move, that pervert. I pushed my hair back and ran my tongue against my lips, smirking because I knew we had won.
Kino took his last chance to tease me. He got close to me too, rolling his body and biting his lip as his teammates battled with mine. I wanted to push him away but also i wanted to wipe that smug look on his face by winning. The song ended and the jury went to the crowd. I gave a little wave to Hui who had his hands suspiciously covering the front of his jeans. He only smiled at me in acknowledgement.
My team was announced as the winner and I stuck my tongue out at Kino who had to swallow his crushing defeat. Our club president got everyone’s attention and announced that time was up. We were already running a little bit over and had to wrap up quickly. I went to my gymbag and pulled my crop hoodie off. I grabbed my towel and dabbed at the sweat on my forehead and neck.
Out of the corner of my eyes I saw Kino toss a bottle of water at me. I caught it and twisted it open, taking long, fast gulps. “You were ok, I guess. You rely on your fat ass too much.” Kino quipped. Hui came up to us quickly.
“Don’t insult her like that.”
I chuckled. “Don’t worry Hui, Kino likes it too he just won't admit it.” I felt Hui’s hand outline the curve of my ass. “Hwitaek, is that your way of flirting?”
He blushed and moved his hand. “Sorry.”
Kino looked around as the room was mostly empty now. He and Hui exchanged a suspicious look. “What?” i asked sternly, knowing they were up to something.
“Nothing...nothing.”Hui said.
“Ya'll are weird. Goodbye.”i grabbed my stuff and exited the dance room. It was pretty dark out and the way back to my dorm wasn't really illuminated enough. I hated coming this way, even with the short cut but i did it for dance. I adjusted my gymbag on my shoulder and browsed through my phone. I was hoping someone had posted a video of my team's dance so i could see how well i did. I was scrolling through our dance clubs instagram when i heard a crunch behind me. It sounded like a twig snapping. I swiveled around like an owl, trying to find out where the sound was coming from. But no one was behind me. I swallowed hard and started walking a little faster.
I could still hear the crunching behind me and i was ready to start running when i felt someone grab me. I tried to scream but my mouth was covered. I was picked up and taken into the more densely tree packed area, towards the back of the dance building. I tried squirming and wiggling my way free when i was suddenly let go and pushed up against the dance building.
“Did we scare you?” Kino laughed.
“I told you you shouldn’t have done that! She’s gonna kick your ass and I’m gonna laugh and watch.” Hui added.
I growled. “If you ever...EVER pull that shit again I will end you.”
Hui pulled me closer to him. “I’m sorry baby. I wouldn’t let him really hurt you.” He kissed my cheek gently.
“Ahh, c’mon, what’s a little fun?” Kino rubbed my hips gently. “Besides it was Hui’s idea to do something a little...public.”
I glared at Hui who held up his hand in defense. “I just- i mean i thought- i just wanted to…”
“He was just so turned on by the way you shook your ass.” Kino whispered in my ear. “And maybe i was too.”
Hui stepped closer and rubbed my thighs. “We couldn’t help ourselves, baby.” He placed a kiss flush against my lips. “Can we show you how much we enjoyed your dance?”
“I’m hot and sweaty and angry.” I said sharply. “What makes you think that I want to fuck outside in this woodsy ass shit behind this danky building? Hmm?”
“Maybe not, but we think you’d want to be filled and cum so hard you see stars.” Kino licked the shell of my ear and nibbled slightly..
“And you’d know that if i’m on my knees I’d do anything you’d like.” Hui said lowering himself down to his knees in front of me.
God, he looked so good down there. He was already sliding my leggings down my thighs, kissing them as they became exposed.  I was still mad as hell but Hui loved kissing every inch of my skin and had in fact spent hours doing it once until it lulled me to sleep. I wanted to curse him for exciting every nerve inside me. Kino was already shoving his hands beneath the band of my sports bra, pushing it up and over my breasts so he could cup them. The chilly night air hit my heated skin, making me shiver.
Hui took off my sneakers and made me step out of my leggings. His lips went to my center, kissing and nibbling at the fabric of my thong.
“Hyung, get her against the wall.” Kino commanded. Hui stood up and tossed his jacket aside before pressing me to the cold concrete. I pulled my sports bra up and over my head, tossing it by my gymbag.
“Don’t make me wait so long. You’ve both already pissed me off.”
Hui reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. He tossed something to Kino and tore at a small packet between his teeth. He spit away the part he ripped off and Kino pulled my thong down quickly. Hui’s fingers slipped between my cheeks and i gasped as i felt the cool lube against my rim. I gripped Kino’s shoulder tightly as Hui’s fingertip rocked little by little until he pushed through. “Have you been practicing for me, love?” He cooed in between kisses to my shoulder blades.
Kino’s fingers teased at my other entrance. “You know she did, Hyung. I can almost see her on her bed with her legs spread. That cute vibrator you got her stuffed in her ass while she fingers herself.” he slid his fingertips up my folds and rubbed my clit for a second before stroking me again.
“Is that right, Baby? Do you still use the vibe i got you?” His finger was firmly pushed inside me now and my ass struggled to relax around it. I bit my lip and nodded.
“I got bored. No one to play with and I couldn’t travel like 7 thousand miles to fuck.” I grabbed Kino’s wrist and rocked against his fingers faster. “M-more.”
Hui’s second lubed finger pressed against my hole, squeezing in beside the other until he scissored me open. “Fuck…” He breathed. “Relax for me, baby, I want to fuck you good.”
I was panting already, my clit throbbing at both sets of fingers inside me. My body eased into a comforted lull wanting to hold off just a little longer until they were both inside me. Kino kissed at my neck, licking wherever he pleased.
“Your hickies are starting to go away, it’d be a shame if you got some more. You’d look like a cheetah.” Kino moaned against my sweat slicked skin.
“You do that and I’ll make sure I bite you so hard you bleed.”
“Damn, is that a threat or a promise, princess?” He said the pet name mockingly. I leaned back away from him, pressing my back to Hui’s chest and guided his head towards mine. He didn’t even hesitate to slide his tongue into my mouth and moan my name into the kiss. I gripped his dark locks as his third finger threatened to join the others. I winced into the kiss and mewled.
“Hui...ahhh…”
Hui drizzled a little bit more lube between my cheeks and his fingers went in even smoother. He gripped my shoulder with his free hand, pushing me down slightly so his fingers could dig in deeper. In front of me Kino had dropped his shorts, his cock suddenly bobbing free, a bit of precum glistening at the tip. “I’ll punish that mouth of yours, sweetness.” He grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me to his cock, completely bending me over between them.
Kino pressed the tip of his cock against my lips, forcing my mouth open to envelop him. I grabbed his hips, desperately trying to anchor myself as my mouth stretched open mimicking my gape. He was already rocking his hips which made him slide deeper into my mouth. My tongue tried to keep up, swirling around and rubbing against his veins but his grip on the back of my neck kept me in place. Hui’s fingers left me for a moment and i heard the clang of his belt buckle hit the ground. I had a little bit of time to catch my breath, popping off of Kino’s cock and swallowing down his precum. He tilted my head up and looked down at me. “We’re not done yet, princess.”
“Call me that one more time.”I said through grit teeth. “And you wont have a dick for me to suck.”
He gripped his base and traced the outline of my lips with the head of his cock. “Be a good girl and don’t scream, would you?”
I felt Hui spread my cheeks apart, the length of his dick sliding up and down my slick hole. He stopped every once in awhile to pressed against my hole, pushing in until i sucked in his head. As soon as Hui made his way in Kino resumed his invasion of my mouth. My moans remained trapped in my throat as both men rocked their hips into me. My hand made its way between my legs rubbing the wetness that was already building up. I shoved three fingers inside me, wanting to be filled in every whole. I wish Hyojong would suddenly appear and fill my pussy so i could be complete. My fingers would have to make due for now. But even that was taken away from me. Hui pulled my arms behind my back and pinned them in place.
“No, love. None of that.”
“You’re mouth is mine tonight and Hyung said I could have your pussy too.” He yanked my hair back so my mouth was freed of his deep thrusts. Then, in one fell swoop, Kino set my legs on his shoulders and lifted me up completely. Hui braced himself against the building wall, thrusting straight up inside me while my dripping center lay fully open for Kino to see. I was sandwiched between them, panting as my knees were practically against shoved to my ears. Kino quickly rolled on the condom, which i assumed that was what Hui tossed him earlier. He kept me propped up against them both and thrusted deep. I couldn’t help the scream that escaped me. Their thrusts were hard and fast and god did i love getting fucked like this. My head rolled back onto Hui’s shoulder where his labored breath ghosted across my nipples. Every inch of my skin felt so sensitive now, like i could cum at any moment just from one touch. I never wanted their cocks to leave me.
“I want to cum so bad,” I panted. “Please.”
I could hear Hui’s hips slap against my ass as his thrusts got rougher. “I know, love. But we want you to feel so amazing first. We know you love being gaped open like this.”
I nodded quickly as i bit down on my bottom lip, tearing it open. I could feel myself tiptoeing closer to the edge. My slick sounds of Kino fucking my wet heat filled my ears. My thighs quivered and I heard Hui whisper, “Your ass is so fuckin’ tight for me.”
“She gonna cum everywhere, Hyung. Just look at her.” Kino swallowed hard, trying to keep up the facade that he wasn’t going to burst at any minute either. Hui was the opposite. His face was already twisted in pleasure, cock swelling and stretching me further.
“Yes!”I hissed. “Kino, baby, make me cum. I want both of you to make me cum!”
Kino’s thrusts were becoming sporadic and wild and Hui was following suit. My nails dug into my arms Hui was still holding captive, my toes curling in the night hair, and my lungs burning as i moaned loud. My orgasm came gushing out off me seeming to never end. My body seized and thrashed against them as i felt them cum with me. Kino stayed inside me for a moment until his arms couldn’t support me any longer. My lower half fell instantly, with only Hui keeping me from falling completely. Kino rolled onto the building panting heavily.
I shivered and Hui kept me close, petting my sweat drenched hair and whispering that it was ok. He slipped out of me slowly so i could lay flush against his chest. His heart was racing with no sign of slowing down. I kissed him gently and pushed his hair back.
“Get a room,” Kino panted. He made his way over to me and kissed my shoulder. “You ok?”
I parted from Hui momentarily and kissed Kino. He nursed my bleeding lip gently. “Hmm, you bit your lip hard.”
“Yeah well...shit happens. I don’t think I can walk.” I said.
Hui finished buckling his belt and putting on his jacket. “I’ll carry you to your dorm.”
Kino looked down at his drenched shirt. “You’re lucky I have some more clothes in my gym bag. You soaked everything.”
My face turned bright crimson. “I didn’t mean to, ok?”
Hui laughed as he helped me to get dressed. “Don’t listen to him. We love it.” Once i was sensibly dressed for travel back to my room, Hui hiked me onto his back, giving me a piggyback ride while Kino carried our gymbags.
Kino tossed the used condoms in the trash as we headed back to my dorm. “Is your roommate home?”
I could barely keep my eyes open. “I have no idea. But honestly she’s probably at Bible study or something.”
“Where’s your key?” Hui asked me. I barely motioned to Kino who was already digging through my bag.
“Got it.” He swiped into the building and I didn’t even notice the awkward stares we were getting. The elevator ride was short and down the hall was my room and most importantly my bed. Kino swiped the key and flicked on the light and illuminated the empty room. Hui laid me down on my bed and rubbed my legs.
“Do you want us to stay here a little bit?”
I nodded, still not really opening my eyes. Kino lifted my legs up so he could scooch into my bed. He propped himself against the wall and set my legs back down on his lap. Hui occupied the top of my bed, lay my head in his lap. I felt their caresses slowly work across my body easing me into a deep sleep.

“See you later, Yejin-ah.”
*
“Yejin?” Hyojong waved his hand in front of my face.
“Yeah?” I asked, realizing he must have been talking to me.
“I said, I need to take care of some… stuff now,” he repeated kindly, smiling at me as always. “I’ll get you to the living room and you can stay there or in my room, okay?”
“Yeah, I’ll be fine,” I replied.
That was not completely true, though. I didn’t know what was going to happen if Hyojong was not around and I was scared about it. I hoped for the best, but Hui’s words still rang in my head and I just hoped he was as busy as Hyojong for now.
He walked me to the living room and left as soon as I sat down on the huge couch, the same one that Hyunggu sat on yesterday. Not even a minute passed when I felt someone fall down right next to me, almost squishing me with his body. As if there was not enough space.
I looked to the left and was met with a definitely-too-close stare and a wide smile.
“So you’re Yejin!” the man said and only when he moved back a bit, I saw that it was the one laughing so much yesterday. I couldn’t remember the name though.
“I guess,” I mumbled a response and he chuckled, putting an arm around my shoulder, his eyes not leaving me for a second.
I leaned back, trying to get as far from the guy as possible.
“Get off her, Shinwon,” I heard a voice from the right and immediately snapped my head in that direction, just in time to see Changgu walk in and rest his back against the wall in front of me. “She’s not interested,” as blunt as the statement was, the last word still unsettled me.
Shinwon huffed, but backed out and took his place on the other side of the couch. His eyes still lingered on me playfully, but he didn’t seem as insistent as before.
“How do you know?” Shinwon spoke again, his question clearly directed at the other man. “Did she turn you down?”
He chuckled, but when I looked at Changgu his gaze was fixed at me and there was a dangerous spark in his eyes.
“She didn’t have a chance yet.” I noticed he was playing with something in his hands and as soon as I realized it was the same knife as yesterday, my eyes flew back to Shinwon.
The contrast between these two men was incredible, but he was the safer pole here. I didn’t dare to look back at Changgu and Shinwon successfully grabbed my attention.
“So Yejin-ah,” he spoke, but it was not the scary tone anymore, more of a curious one. “What did you do for a living?”
“Uh… I’m an architect,” I replied, not really knowing if it was just a casual conversation or if he was trying to gather information. Either way, I didn’t like the past tense in his question.
“Cool!” he almost screamed in awe, “But you still managed to get lost yesterday,” he laughed, throwing his head back and I got flustered.
“Uhm.. I.. that’s not really-” I tried to explain myself, but Changgu was quick to interrupt me.
“Or maybe you weren’t lost at all,” he mused, with a smirk. “So? How was it, Yejin-ah?”
I tensed up and suddenly my voice was gone, leaving me absolutely helpless.
“Oh come on, have you seen her face when Yanan brought her?” Shinwon was back at it with his loud voice. “She’s not a spy,” he said clearly amused by Changgu’s words.
The other man just chuckled and said nothing at that. I was left with Shinwon’s odd questions and even weirder reactions to my answers. It was not the easiest conversation to handle, but it was definitely more relaxing than any other up until now. I could almost forget about Changgu’s presence in the room, as he only reminded me about himself a few times by throwing in a random comment.
It was all fun, but I couldn’t stand their loudness for too long. I felt too overwhelmed with all that so I just gave a simple excuse of being sleepy and limped back to Hyojong’s room. It somehow felt like the safest place in this whole building. I walked in and took a while, taking in everything that I didn’t manage to see yesterday. The whole room was very clean, but the desk couldn’t be messier with various papers, documents, files and tons of scattered pens, all of them different.
I smiled to myself and moved on, standing at the window. I put the crutches away and rested my elbows on the windowsill, staring outside. It was raining, water drops on the glass obstructing my view a little. The house really was in the middle of nowhere as the landscape outside consisted of fields and trees. I sighed and a small circle of condensation appeared on the window for a second.
“You prefer being alone, don’t you?” I heard next to me, right before I felt Hyojong’s presence at my side.
Somehow he managed to walk in without catching my attention, which was odd considering how silent the whole room was. I looked at him, but his eyes were just as unreadable as yesterday, so I went back to admiring the falling rain.
“I guess so,” I shrugged. He was so comfortable to be around.
“Would you mind if I joined?” he asked simply.
“Wouldn’t it ruin the whole concept?” the playful remark came out naturally, before I could think about it.
Hyojong chuckled, lowering his head, before looking at me again.
“Do you care?” he mocked, making my lips stretch in a small smile.
I took a step to the side to make space for him and winced immediately when I tried stepping on my hurt foot. His hand immediately flew to my waist to steady me, but it was gone just as quickly and I suddenly felt cold.
For the next few minutes, the only sound in the room was the raindrops hitting the window as we both stared outside. The silence was not uncomfortable though, it felt so natural I lost myself in it for a second, closing my eyes slightly.
Suddenly Hyojong’s phone buzzed and I was ripped out of my peaceful moment. He glanced at the screen.
“I guess the relax is over,” he said straightening up. I sent him a questioning gaze and he shrugged. “Hui hyung wants everyone in the living room.”
There was no room for further questions and I felt like it would be no use asking them either way. Hyojong didn’t know what it was about and if he did, he wouldn’t tell.
He helped me a little and we made our way to the living room. Everyone was already there, apart from us and Hui. I was told to sit next to Shinwon and I did so without a word, still pretty intimidated by the rest of the guys. He smiled at me brightly but didn’t have a chance to say anything when Hui entered the room. He greeted everyone and sent me a separate, longer stare. I froze in my seat and didn’t even notice Jinho walk in as well, until they both took their places next to Hyojong, at the front of the room.
The room was so silent for a minute I could clearly hear my ragged breath. Then Hui spoke confidently, easily gaining everyone’s attention.
“The plan is now ready, thanks to our lovely Yejin-ah,” he smirked, piercing me with his eyes. “She will play an important part, so I hope everyone welcomes her in our team for the time being.”
“Of course is she agrees,” Jinho spoke up, also looking directly at me. His eyes, however, were not making me this anxious. “You have a choice, Yejin. Not a pretty one, but you do-”
“Let’s listen to the plan first,” Hui interrupted Jinho, tone of his voice not as playful anymore. He clearly didn’t like people getting in his way of fun.
“Of course,” Jinho cleared his throat and stood up, making his way to a whiteboard on one of the walls.
The plan sounded simple. In general. I was going back to university to befriend Sohyun and make her trust me. Changgu was enrolling with me as well, to become her boyfriend and lure her here, to the headquarters. That would make kidnapping her perfectly achievable, maybe even easy. After a few days of a ‘spring holiday’ with her boyfriend, Sohyun would be introduced to the whole situation and ransom would be requested. Jinho didn’t say anything else and I didn’t even want to think about what would happen after. It wasn’t already tough to come to terms with all that I just heard.
The plan was easy, but the problem was me. Me being involved in all of this. It sounded so straightforward. Meet Sohyun. Become friends. Help Changgu…. right. Changgu. Not only was I terrified of him, I felt like prey in his presence and I bet it was not far from reality. But to be left alone with him? Treat him as my best friend? Was I a good enough actress to fake trust?
I got so carried away with this train of thought I forgot Jinho mentioned I had a choice. A small spark of hope ignited in me.
As soon as I looked up, I saw everyone’s eyes focused on me. I didn’t even notice they were waiting for my stand.
“I…” I swallowed hard, directing my next words at Jinho alone, “What choice do I have?”
There was hope in my heart but not my mind. I realized my position and the resignation in my voice probably gave it out to everyone. Jinho smiled sadly and wanted to answer my question but Hui was faster.
“None really,” he spoke slowly and clearly with cold satisfaction spread across his face, “unless you want to make everyone’s life harder and still end up deep underground.”
He flashed a wide grin and I shivered. That was not a choice, he was right. But to have to choose between my life and Sohyun’s? He couldn’t be more cruel. That said I have already made up my mind.
“I’ll do it.”
It felt as if someone else said it, even though I clearly felt my mouth moving. The words ringed in my ears like a curse. My head was down, so I could only hear everyone let out their breaths after Hui clapped his hands with satisfaction. People started chatting, asking questions about their roles and I, in turn, tried not to break down crying. What did they expect of me? I wanted and didn't want to know at the same time.
To make everything worse I suddenly felt a strong presence next to me. I didn’t realize when Hui took Shinwon’s place, but now that I looked up, his face was too close to mine. I flinched and tried to move back, but his hand was already wrapped around my arm, securely keeping me in place.
“Yejin-ah,” he said my name as if he was chewing candy. I felt it lingering on his tongue and it made me sick. “You agreed to work with us. What a good girl,” he purred the last few words, making me uncomfortably aware of his touch and closeness.
“It hurts,” I squealed when his grip on my arm tightened even more. There was sure to be a bruise.
He didn’t move even slightly, though, his gaze not leaving my eyes for a split second.
“This is nothing, sweetie,” he said, clearly amused with my reaction, but his voice was dark. “Try doing anything stupid and I’ll make sure you know what pain is.”
My heart dropped and I felt cold sweat running down my back. His eyes were bearing a promise and a threat.
“You’re part of the mafia now, Yejin-ah,” his voice felt sticky and hot. Like tar, not honey. “There is no way out of here.”

The College Crush ~ Chapter 1: Twisted Girl
Black!MC x E’Dawn
| Next >
Tumblr media
Just a flash of red and brown, and E’Dawn couldn’t help but stare. His smile fell and it felt as though his world had stopped. Your hair was in twists and so was his stomach after seeing you. The other guys didn’t fail to notice their friend’s new infatuation with the girl who had just passed by.
“You think she’s cute, huh?”
He nodded and fell off the wall since he had been too occupied staring at the beautiful brown girl who had passed by to worry about his own safety. Hyojong just had to know one thing. Who were you?
[Two hours earlier...]
Hyojong woke up and stretched, turning off his phone alarm and almost forgetting he wasn’t living on campus this year. He was so used to seeing the cream colored walls, that his black painted ones surprised him. Yawning, he smacked his lips together and tasted last night’s sleep on his tongue. It tasted like spit.
“Good morning, Cheolsoo! Yeonghee, how was your sleep? Is Nari thirsty this morning?” He said cheerfully as he watered the growing sprouts on his windowsill before getting ready.
Skipping forward, Hyojong spit foamy toothpaste into the sink and wiped his face. Only as he double checked his freckled face did his roommate Hongseok came out of his room to do his morning routine.
Scratching his tummy, he said his usual greeting, “Mornin’”
“Sleep well?”
Hongseok nodded and yawned, splashing his face with cold water, “Ah, we’re meeting the guys at the brick wall outside the library today for lunch. Bring cash. Jinho says the card swipe thing got stolen over the summer.”
 “Well fuck,” He pouted. “Ok.”
The be-speckled blonde beauty opened his closet and changed his bottoms to the black slacks required by the school that sported his grade’s color. He slipped on a white tank top after flexing in the mirror a bit. High white socks and black tennis shoes. They could have been any color, but Hyojong decided to keep it simple.
He’d put on his jacket last in case something spilled on his shirt and he had no time to change. Speaking of which. Breakfast. Nothing too big as he’d get coffee with his friends soon enough. Yuto was in the kitchen, toast waiting on the counter with jam and butter surrounding the green plate.
“I made two slices for everyone. Do whatever you want with them.”
The three waited for the last one to wake up as they ate in the living room and played a few video games. None of their classes were until 11am, and it was just now 9:23. Wooseok shuffled in his pajamas and drank some juice.
“Cute.” Hongseok smiled.
They talked about their classes and what they heard about their teachers until it was time to go. They buttoned up their gold buttons that shined brightly against the black fabric
“These look like Japanese high school outfits.”
“And here I thought I had gotten rid of these awful collars when I graduated.” Yuto looked at himself in the mirror. “Why are they trying to copy the uniform style?”
Hongseok shrugged, “Don’t know. But I don’t exactly hate it. You look adorable, Wooseok.”
Hyojong smiled, “He’s always adorable.”
“Oh, be quiet. These pants are so stupid. Why aren’t they full length?” The adorable one turned his ankle to emphasize the fact that it showed off his navy blue socks instead of covering them like regular pants.
“Fashion!” Yuto said. “I like that feature. Makes me feel young.”
“I feel like I’m cosplaying.” Hongseok laughed. “Anyways. Let’s go. We’ve got classes to get to, and it’s best not to be late on the first day.”
After their first classes, the boys met up where they had the past two years after making their rather large group of friends. There were ten of them in total, Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, E’Dawn, Shinwon, Yanan, Yeo One, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok. Hyojong went by E’Dawn because he messed up creating his first semester schedule so badly that he had classes at the crack of dawn for a whole term.
Most of the others had regular nicknames. They always met for lunch outside the library since Jinho worked at the school cafe located on the library’s first floor and got off at the time. He always brought his friends food that was fresh but would be thrown out after his shift. It was ok as long as he didn’t get caught, and his boss didn’t tell on him.
Even in this large group, they talked about the new uniforms for guys. Every grade had its own color that they had to wear. Freshmen in red, Sophomores in green, Juniors in pink, and Seniors in blue. Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok wore red while Yeo One, Shinwon, and Yanan got green. Hui, E’Dawn, and Hongseok got to wear black this year and Jinho was the only one who wore blue.
The colors were on everyone’s Student IDs. For the guys, they had two sets of pants. One were plaid and whatever color they needed to be. The others were black with a colored stripe down each side. The color also showed up on their ties they wore for their alternate uniforms. As for girls, their skirts signified their current academic level. Although girls could wear pants, there was just social pressure that made skirts more common than not.
Hyojong had decided to wear his black pants today. He met Yuto and Wooseok during their summer orientation since Hyojong was their Orientation Leader. They mentioned not wanting live on campus but not wanting to stay with their parents and E’Dawn said he had two empty rooms in his apartment. They’ve been close ever since.
The guys were taking turns walking on the red brick wall in front of the library to see who could do it the fastest without falling. Hyojong fell and landed on his ass, making the others laugh. He laughed along with them until your red skirt caught his eye. Your legs were an earthy brown, and you wore high black socks in combat boots.
Looking at the rest of your body, he saw that you had on a blazer with red accents and a white dress shirt underneath, red ribbon tied under the colar. The messenger bag you held was an army green color and covered in all sorts of buttons. Some E’Dawn recognized since he was a fan of the shows and bands.
Your hair was natural and in a plethora of twists, but you didn’t really notice him among all the other handsome men. You just saw them as a group of men you had to pass by. It didn’t occur that one of them had been captivated by your presence. Then again, while you were trying to see if you were headed towards the right building, E’Dawn was trying to get a better view of you. He sat up from his first falling position, fingers hanging off the edge of the wall.
After you passed the group, you didn’t see your newest admirer fall to the ground after losing his balance since you were already inside the building and taking everything in. So this is what the inside of a Korean library looked like, you mused.
Hyojong scrambled to his feet and followed you. He just had to make sure that what he saw was human not a goddess made from his imagination as he currently believed you were. When he got inside, he saw a red skirt go around a corner. Your twists bounced with every step and suddenly stopped as you searched for the right room. Hyojong couldn’t help but reach out and touch your shoulder.
You turned around, “Yeah?” You spoke English.
He didn’t know a lot of English. Right now, he barely remembered any Korean as you two met eyes. Yours were such a dark brown, tunnels to another world. E’Dawn had to say something.
“Hi. I’m Kim Hyojong.” He bowed. “I help with new students. Are you lost?”
Having bowed when he did, you sighed and spoke Korean, “Yes, I’m lost. I’m looking for this classroom, but I don’t see this number anywhere.”
He loved the sound of your voice. You showed him the number, and E’Dawn saw the number written in both Hangul and Romanized alphabet.
“Ah, I’m guessing you didn’t get the email. That class is now upstairs in the computer lab.” He pointed upwards. “I can take you to it if you want.”
The way you smiled made his heart skip, “Could you, please?”
Hyojong smiled back, “Sure. Follow me. What’s your name, by the way?”
“I’m (Y/N), nice to meet you.” You gave a small bow and your twists trickled down your cheeks.
“Nice to meet you.”
There was no way he was going to tell you how easy it was to find the classroom since they were mostly glass walls and had the teacher’s name on the door. E’Dawn wanted to spend more time with you wanted to learn more about this beautiful black girl with a voice like the sea.
“Where you from?”
“I’m from North America. And before you ask, I learned Korean and moved here because of K-pop. Mostly the fashion aspect.”
He smiled, “Sounds about right with all the foreigners here. What’s your major?” E’Dawn asked as he opened the stairwell door for you.
“Thanks,” You grinned. “And I’m undecided at the moment. Just trying to get my general studies out the way and try a few things out before committing to a specific field just yet.”
“You’ll find your place here rather quickly. Um, let me see that paper one more time?”
You hands him the paper, and he took a pen out of his pocket to scribble something on it. He handed it back to you, and you noticed a few extra characters along the bottom.
“Wow” You heard a voice whisper.
Both of you turned your heads to see the stairwell door closing even though it should’ve already been shut after E’Dawn and you stepped out. You guys decided to ignore whatever it was.
“It’s my KTalk. You can message me if you have any questions. I hope you enjoy your class.” He opened the glass door leading to the largest computer room.
“Thanks. Hyojong-oppa?”
He wanted to clutch his chest as he was having a heart attack from how cute you were, calling him oppa. He almost forgot you were younger than him, but the red skirt was obvious. You were just very comfortable to be around that you didn’t feel younger. Must’ve been because you were American.
You took his reaction the wrong way, “Oh, sorry, I guess we’re not close enough for me to call you that yet.”
“No, no, no, no, no, no. It’s fine. You can call me oppa if you want.”
“Oh, that’s a relief! Thank you, oppa!”
Hyojong nodded, caught his breath, and put on a charming smile, “Yes. You’re welcome. I’ll see you around. Your Korean is very good.”
“Thank you! I’ll see you around.” You bowed to him and went inside.
He nodded back at you and let go of the door. Releasing the breath he didn’t even know he was holding, E’Dawn gave you one last glance and headed downstairs to rejoin his friends. However, as he opened the door that lead to the stairs he saw several of them standing on the landing.
“Hey, guys. What were you doing?”
They all looked at each other until Yeo One spoke, “Nothing, oppa~”
The others joined in teasing him about having the freshman girl call him oppa even though they had just met. Hyojong was a blushing mess, and nothing could hide it. The librarian shushed them and pointed outside.
Once outside, Jinho was the first to tell the other five, “She called him oppa and almost took it back, but he said it was ok. Dawnie’s got a crush~”
“So, is she Korean?”
E’Dawn shook his head, “American. Not sure which area. Her name is (Y/N).” He touched his cheeks, starting to blush even more. “She’s really cute.”
This was fun. Should I write more? I should. Five chapters. I’ll write five chapters of this with this one being the first.

A CYZJ spam (ep. 7)
So for anyone who can’t find it on the tencent account, here’s another link: x
This spam is long, contains spoilers, typos, keyboard smashing and (very) rough translations. Read at your own discretion :)
OP is not paying 100% attention to it because she has to mark stuff so this will be inconsistent and weird. Why she refers to herself in third person’s POV is also unknown to even herself...
- oh? I recognize one of the girls from sing my song! china...
-oh no, promises of tears so early in the episode
-asklhdaslks so zhennan ( i think?) goes “handsome ones, sit at the front” when they have to gather and jun looks so shook, he’s like “bitch, im sitting in the back. what does that mean”
-now they’re joking about the fact jun doesn’t have a partner and he’s jumping from chair to chair to make up for yanan’s absence
-okay, so the round is called double attack and i think they said something about 2 performances
-1st place in the first round does not need to participate in the second round, noice
-no elimination this week, that’s good cuz i”m still mentally exhausted from longfei’s elimination
-samuel is just beginning to understand the situation
-victor says something about produce 101(the chinese version ofc), i think it’s about who he wants to work with. Minghao’s quietly cackling beside him
-samuel thinks justin bieber might come...
-i don’t know most of the girls and i’m bad at remembering names so excuse the mess that is my nicknaming for the guests
-aw the first girl (summer although i thought she said samuel at first) called minghao “little 8″. cute.
-so they get to talk to guests before they choose groups
-oh my god, victor’s english voice is so deep
-ooh second girl, her voice is so soothing,,,,liuxi.....oh wait jun is freaking out how cute. i still haven’t figured out how to romanize her name...i’ll call her xijwing for now
-he’s so shy uwu cute
-eric and xiaowu are playing bazzi
-i remember that girl!!!! i forgot her name but i lover her voice so dam nmuch from her previous shows.
-they’re teasing eric about his dancing again lmao i didn;t catch her name. i'll call her suzy for now
-OH MY GOD the guest for samuel and zhennan isn’t physically there so they just thrust a phone into zhennan’s face so they can talk
-the guest on the phone just said that the boys have never met her but she has met them
-zhennan is so confused oh.... oh her name is Tia
-samuel says he’s better than zhennan oof zhennan is having a rough day (just jokingly don’t worry)
-what kind of high-tech phone stand??? damn that song they’re playing sounds good
-damn victor might be even more insistent than minghao. ahhhhh they said her name but i didn’t catch it
-jun is such a fanboy oh my gosh he’s so cute
-zhennan won’t sing love song
-wow summer’s voice is really great and she sings rock as well as uhhh...how do i say this....songs from the chinese minorities??? oof i’ve never had to say this in english so idk how to explain it
-someone save jun, he’s hiding behind a chair
-wow the8 and victor are so so excited about Summer’s song, it’d be so cool if they collabed
-i want to know more about victor because his english is so fluent and he incorporates it so casually into his chinese. i feel like he speaks chinese  like i do.
-they get to choose in order of their ranking so victor’s excitement was in vain
-victor and the8 are popular
-the animation on the phone stand is killing me
- zhennan refuses to speak...oh wait he’s speaking
-AQAHHHH HURRY UP AND CHOOSE
-ahhh i wish they didn’t choose her i wanted to see minghao and victor to choose her (but that’s fine, i’ll look forward to their performance too) oh no victor’s gonna be pissed
-he looks like he’s hiding his dissapointment oh no
-i’ll take a wild guess that victor’s from socal. i wouldn’t know, never been there, just a wild guess
-lmao she’s volunteering to help choose
-okay little blonde girl’s name is xouxou, i think,,,that’s how you romanize it
-i feel kinda bad for Tia but Jun is at least happy with the choice he got left with so all’s good
-lmao the power of wechat bringing people together
-YANAN IS BACK
-THE JUN/YANAN SHIP IS SAILING
-tia has arrived in person
-practise with no audio but intense bg music
-damn, taking paid promotion to the extreme. none of the guests have realised it’s a joke yet
-”brring brring”
-yikes jun lost his voice yiiikkkkeeess
-this is serious but it’s so funny how xiaowu’s tip to jun is literally to “shut up”
-they’re lucky they got Tia, she seems quite knowledgeable about vocal techniques
-jun went to the washroom to practise singing because he has to “push” to go to the washroom and it will help him sing; i’m cackling
-i also feel bad for yanan, this is a hell of a way to return to the show
-ahhhh nervous about jun’s voice. this performance looks amazing though (from what little i am seeing right now)
-okay so far so good
-the performance is really good. I’m happy Jun was able to pull through and i’m so thankful to Tia for helping so much
-aww minghao and victor wants her to be the “goddess” in the performanceas in she’s like... unattainable??
-minghao says that she’s his ideal type and victor tries to clarify the ideal type under what context because, well... if it’s romantic, it would be scandalous
-okay so the story of the performance is that Minghao and Victor has 2 different love related relationships with Xijwing. Victor wants to be with her and Minghao is an ex
-i look away for 1 second and minghao is mid flip
-if i was to be critical, i would say that their performance lacks a bit of connection between the 3 although i think the concept they went for didn’t help, otherwise it was great
-xouxou looks so put together and formal wow i’m not used to her dressing like that
-oh no, eric’s laptop overheated
-adslsdjlsfdj he looks so worried
-she does aegyo on him but it’s not working, i’ve never seen him like this alsdjsdfk
-xouxou’s voice is so unique, it’s actually hypnotizing
-the world is against eric, poor boy
-i’ve said this twice but let me say this again, xouxou’s voice is seriously one of a kind
-wow, that was magical
-(as of now), if eric, xiaowu and xouxou doesn’t win, i’m gonna riot
-oh she recommends a kanye song (i don’t like kanye)
-okay i guess it’s chosen, oh well, the song itself is at least good
-damn, samuel is an amazing artist (they’re exchanging gifts)
-zhennan is worried his present doesn’t meet up to samuel’s iron man figurine
-ZHENNANIS INTERVENING ON SAMUEL’S HABIT OF EATING RAMEN (as a gift) IM DYING
-they want sunny to rap, then they ask if she can dance (they want to make the last chorus different, like more exciting), they end up deciding on something to do with her walking down from a platform or something like that
-samuel forgets sunny’s name lmao he gets confronted by her
-oooh zhennan has white tips and a top hat, it’s a good look
-*randomly cuts to xouxou being very excited for 1 short second in the middle of the performance*
-it’s a good performance, they all did their part well, i think samuel and zhounnan has developped a sort of formula that works for them
-it ends before the results. they show bits of all 4 performances so i guess 1 of them is just for show and doesn’t count with votes
-the ending shows samuel imitating zhennan’s habits on stage
-why can noone read what’s on the paper
-LMAO xiaowu can’t speak for 10 minutes and does charades
-well that’s about it, thanks for tuning in. damn, this was longer than i thought. if anyone needs clarification about my spamming, my ask box is open. peace out

You Still Have To Date Your Soulmate - Falling (In Love) pt. 2
Tumblr media
Anon asked: could you do a part two for Hongseok soulmate au? I read it today and I'm in love.
Genre: fluff
Words: 1.5k+
Warnings: n/a its just fluff and Kino being a dork
a/n: so this ended up being longer than the original lol also I ended up writing Kino kinda like a stereotypical GBF gay best friend accidently whoops
Falling (In Love) pt. 1
“And when I looked at my phone, my cheek was all colorful.”
“See! I told you!” Kino slapped your shoulder, “He’s your soulmate~”
“Oh, shut it Kino,” you took a sip of your drink trying to hide the blush appearing on your face
“So, when are you going to see him again?” Yanan asked
“Well, I’m hanging out with him after his Lit class but he did ask me to go to his basketball game...”
“And you’re going,” Kino finished your sentence
You sipped your drink again, not agreeing with Kino. He groaned as he leaned on you. He complained and complained saying ‘you had to go’, ‘he’s your soulmate’ and ‘you had to fall in love with him’.
“I don’t know...I guess I’m just not used to all this,” you admitted
“Aww don’t worry Y/N,” Wooseok smirked, “I’ll put a good word in for you. I have Bio with him later.”
“Don’t you dare-”
“Oh! And I’ll come with you to the basketball game!” Kino exclaimed
“You don’t have to-”
“I’ll go too, if you want,” Yanan chimed in
You sighed flopping down on the table. You buried your face in the crook of your elbow. The boys quieted down letting you mull over your options. You slowly raised your head, deciding what you were going to do.
“Ok fine. I’ll go,” you sighed, “But you’re coming with me, Kino.”
“Sweet! We can take my car!”
Kino picked his phone quickly typing out a text to someone, probably his roomates. You did warn Wooseok that if he embarrassed you, you’d actually fight him. Kino, like the good friend he was, hyped you up so much and told you how much fun you’d have. You hoped he was right again.
~
You sat on a bench outside the English building reading a book for one of your psychology class. You were too absorbed in the novel that you didn’t realize that Hongseok had walked out of the building. He approached you slowly trying not to scare you. He gently tapped the top of your book.
“What’re you reading?” he smiled
“Ah-oh, a book for my Psych class.”
“Cool,” he sat down next to you
He took the moment to enjoy the sunshine that was shining on both of you. His eyes closed as his head fell back. His skin looked so golden, the sun accentuating the color.  He was dressed rather casually, a pair of sweatpants hung on his hips and a basketball jersey over a black t-shirt. You weren’t well versed in sports so you weren’t sure what team the jersey belonged to. His eyes peaked open, spying you staring at him.
“Are you staring at me?” he smirked
“No,” you turned away from, not letting him see you blush
He only hummed in response. He knew you were lying- it was obvious. His hand went up into his dark hair pushing the strands out of his eyes. You avoided looking at him, afraid of letting him see the blush on your face, if he hadn’t already seen it.
“Have you eaten yet?” he asked
“Um..no I haven’t.”
“Want to get lunch with me? My treat.”
“Sure,” you smiled shyly
He got up off of the bench first, offering his hand to you. You hesitantly took it. Before you had a chance to grab your bag off the ground, he grabbed it and wore it.
“You don’t have to do that. I can carry it,” you went to take your bag but he shifted out of reach
“Don’t worry about it,” a teasing smile graced his lips, “I’m strong. I got it.”
You just laughed as he showed off his muscles. He posed in funny poses that showed off how strong he apparently was. He had you laughing loudly at his ridiculous actions. His heart fluttered when he heard you laugh. The sound of your laughter brought him so much joy. He never wanted to stop listening.
~
“I said I’m walking out the door now, Kino. Calm down.”
You put your phone on speaker as you left your very small studio apartment. You waved down the car that was slowly driving passed; a car you knew too well. You hung up the call with Kino as you got into the car.
“I said i was walking out,” you huffed
“You took forever,” Kino whined
“You were waiting 10 minutes. Calm down.”
You and Kino chatted the entire ride back to the college. You had gone home after classes to freshen up before going to Hongseok’s basketball game. You weren’t planning on going home but both Kino and Yanan convinced you to. They wanted your first date with Hongseok to go well, even though you refused to call it a date. You were just going to support him and his team.
“You like him, don’t you?” Kino asked
“I mean...he’s really cool...and intelligent and funny- not to mention he’s pretty cute-”
“Oooooo you like him~” Kino teased
“I do not!” you protested
“Yes you do!” he laughed, “You’re supposed to like him, stupid! You’re soulmates!”
Even though the day when you met Hongseok was engraved in your memories forever, you still forgot he was your soulmate. Like, you’re meant for this person and you’re supposed to be with him. It still was a new concept that you were trying to get your head around.
“Oh yeah,” you responded
The rest of the drive was pretty much the same; Kino would tease you for liking Hongseok and you’d try to protest but there wasn’t much of a point in protesting. When you finally arrived at the college, you quickly got out of the car. Kino was just making you more nervous. The two walked over to the gym where the basketball court was. Many people were already there, not many seats available in the stands. You found a space where the two of you could squeeze into. Some of the players were practicing out on the court. You spied Hongseok and waved at him. He made his way through the stands to where you and Kino were.
“Hey, you made it,” he smiled brightly
“Yeah.”
You got lost in his eyes for moment, being brought back when Kino cleared his throat particularly loud. You looked over at him, his eyes screaming at you to stop being gross for one second.
“Ah, this is my friend-”
“I’m Kino,” he interrupted you, “I’m Y/N’s best friend. I predicted you two were going to be soulmates.”
You wanted to kill Kino right there in the middle of the gymnasium. You could feel your ears turning a dark shade of red. You looked back at Hongseok apologetically. He only chuckled.
“Oh yeah. Wooseok told me you were coming together.”
There was a little bit more small talk between the three of you, mostly between Kino and Hongseok, before Hongseok had to return to the court. When Hongseok was far enough away, you hit Kino’s shoulder hard.
“How could you introduce yourself like that?! Are you trying to embarrass me?”
“Ow! I was just trying to assert myself as a protective, yet supportive friend,” he complained
“Well you could have done that without being such a dork about it,” you grumbled
You looked back at the players on the court, your eyes immediately going to Hongseok. You saw him trying to stifle a laugh then glancing up at you. He winked at you just as the referee blew the whistle, leaving you with a pink face to match your red ears.
~
“You did really well out there...I think. I don’t know much about sports.” you smiled embarrassedly at Hongseok
“Thanks,” he smiled back shyly
The cold evening air hit your arms as you stood outside the gym. You cursed at yourself for not bringing a sweater or something with you. You shivered slightly, barely noticeable. At least you thought it was barely noticeable.
“Are you cold? You can use my jacket,” Hongseok slipped off his jacket before you could answer him
“No, I’m alright-”
He draped the large jacket over your shoulders, not caring how you insisted that you were fine. He adjusted the jacket to fit comfortably over your form. His hands lingered on the front of the jacket.
His eyes locked with yours. You could get lost in those eyes of his. You felt like you were standing there in silence for an eternity but you didn’t care one bit. His eyes flicked down to your lips for a moment. You knew what he was silently asking for. You took a small step forward as an invitation. He pulled you into his chest by the jacket. His lips pressed gently against yours, as if he was going to break you. He pulled away quickly. He wordlessly checked if you were okay by his sudden action. You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him back for a deeper kiss. He melted into it, savoring the feeling of your lips against his. He wanted to stay like that forever. And so did you.

Word Count: 1300+
Genre: Fluff

I can’t tell you how stressful my English classes are for me, trying to not make any mistakes! Anyways I’ll stop rambling now, I hope you enjoy!! I looove you! :) - Admin Spring
Tumblr media
It had been about a month since you had seen him. He had left for a trip with his family, he invited you, but you told him you’d be too busy to go. You regretted saying no now because you missed him a whole whole lot.
You texted him a lot asking him how things were going and what he was doing. He tried including you by sending pictures of him cutely posing in front of different scenery and selfies, which you saved all of them.
He would try asking you what you were doing to and your days were all too similar to make for an interesting story.
He never let you feel unloved either. He messaged you the whole time saying he missed you. Telling you about the places he wanted to come back to with you.
You got along well with his family too so they would send you messages saying how they wished you would’ve come. It was all very touching and hoped you could go next time.
Luckily they were supposed to return today and you were the one to retrieve them from the airport. You wanted to go all out and decided to make him a big sign. You wrote out his name in big letters spelling, Yanan.
You stood at the entrance waiting for them and especially him. Holding the sign as high as you could. Suddenly you recognized his tall, lean body strolling through the entrance. His gentle features form into a heart clenching smile. You excitedly meet him halfway quickly and throw your arms around his neck. He does the same and you feel the instant safety in his hug. The feeling that you missed so much.
After the grand reunion, you, him and his family all headed towards your car. He interlaced his fingers with yours, it was comforting to have him back.
“Actually, Y/N, something came up,” his mom said when you all got out of the airport.
“Oh?”
“A family friend wanted to see us now that we are back, we will see you later sweetie,” she said the last part towards her son and moved to give him a kiss on the cheek. They turned to go and you saw them hop into a cab before he turned back towards you.
“I guess it’s just you and me now.” he beamed at you.
“I missed you so much Yanan.” you fell into his arms again. He pat your back and kissed on top of your hair.
“Alright alright, we can make up for lost time at home, I wanna leave this airport,” you laughed at his sudden impatience.
“Give me the keys, I’ll drive.”
“Aren’t you tired? That flight was long, I can drive.”
“Y/N I’m fine,” he took them from your hand without another word.
After what seemed like forever searching for the car that you forgot where you parked, you finally found it. You both hopped in quickly, eager to head home. He held out his hand for you to take and held it the whole ride home.
On the way you asked him about his trip, that stuff you hadn’t heard yet. He gave you his phone to show you the pictures. Suddenly your phone started buzzing, it was your boss.
“Y/N! Thank God you picked up! One of the assistants on floor 3 caught a cold and we need someone to cover. It is super busy here, please do this for me.”
You looked over at Yanan who was sitting patiently since you had arrived home and was waiting to get out of the car. He had a curious look on his face since he was limited to the convention he could hear.
You really wanted to have said no.You wanted to stay home with him. It had been so long since you got to spend time together. But you could hear the exhaust and stress in your boss’ voice, desperate for someone to help.
“Ok,” you sighed still looking at Yanan with furrowed brows, “I’ll come in as soon as I can.”
“Oh bless you!!! Thank you so much, see you soon!”
“Yeah,” you said before hanging of the phone.
“What was that about?” he asks you.
“Yanan, I’m so sorry, but they called me into work.”
“Today? But I haven’t seen you in months! I miss you…” he whines holding your hand now.
“I know, don’t make me feel worse than I already do, I wanna stay with you too.”
He pouts at you, but you try to not get trapped by his kicked puppy look. You hop out of the car and he does the same. You head in gathering your stuff before going back towards the door.
“I’ll see you when I get back.”
—
You went to work and even had to stay overtime. Your boss wasn’t lying when she said the place was busy. Yanan sent you some texts asking if you had eaten and that he would make something when you got back.
You sent him short texts back or sometimes no texts back. Most of the time before you could send, you were called away.
When finally the shift was over, you got in the car to head back home. You felt so tired that you could barely stay awake during the drive. You opened the door to your house and Yanan runs over to you almost tackling you.
“YOU’RE HOME. I MISSED YOUUU.”
“Hi love,” you said patting his back since you had little mobility due to the tight hug he put you in.
“Baby, let’s watch a movie or go for a walk,” Yanan suggests.
“I’m not done with work yet, I have to file everything on the computer and print some things.”
He whines loudly as acts like a kid not wanting their mom to leave for work. You walk towards your home office ignoring his antics, so you could finish your job as soon as possible.
You were at your desk typing as quick as your fingers would allow. Yanan lingered around you whether he was leaning in the door frame or sitting in the chair nearby.
“Is there something you need your distracting me?”
“I just wanna spend time with you,” he whines.
“Just give me another hour of silence so I can finish this.”
“OK!” he says brightening up. He turns to leave the room swiftly and then he’s gone. He does in fact leave you be and you finish in no time. You swing the door open.
“IT IS FINISHED,” you yell throughout the house. You see Yanan pop up from around the corner with a smile.
“REALLY?” he runs to you and throws his arms around you, “Now what should we do?”
“Yanan, I’m so sleepy, I don’t think I can stay awake for anything,” you frown hoping he won’t be too disappointed.
“That’s fine, let’s just go to sleep,” he laced fingers with you and dragged you towards the bedroom. He gave you a shirt to change into of his which was long on you due to his tall figure.
He smiled at you when you headed over and pat the bed where he wanted you to lie. You both then got comfortable on the bed and he wrapped his arms around you and hugged you tight.
His legs were tied up together with yours and it was a comfortable silence. He ran his hands through your hair and used his other to bring your hand to his lips placing a kiss on your knuckles.
“Tomorrow let’s go out, let’s go on a date,” He said with his eyes closed and a sleepy smile. You hummed in agreement.
“Anything you want,” you said not letting go of his hand and moving his hair from his forehead you placed a gentle kiss on his warm skin.

Maybe, I Could Be

Not sure what they can do except repeat the same words over and over to tell them that they're done and won't return to them at all. Somehow along the way, both girls end up getting help by their step-brother's friends that they've only officially met a week ago. They just hoped it doesn't worsen the situation even more. part two {Obviously}
Warning: possessive and jealous ex-boyfriends (GOT7′s Mark & JB), some young adult theme, um... unhealthy relationships of love and friendship of sorts... more or less.
i just needed to use names and so the GOT7 boys aren’t portray as they are in real life and are actual biases of my sister and i. so yeah, it was easier that way to write like so. but other than that i do not condone those in real life. i didn’t even think about it as i wrote this out and it just came and i honestly think it was just because i’ve witnessed this with my family and friends and so how it partially came to be. anyways, but uh... happy reading i guess and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
"Invitation, please." The young PTG member who was doing door checks for the Phi Tau Gamma's event asked both Chaeyeon and Chaewon when it was their turn to enter inside the Phi Tau Gamma's house. The sisters presented their invitations while they waited for him to mark the tickets. "Once inside, you're unable to leave when the event starts. Once you leave, you can't come back in." He reminded them as both females nodded while passing him and through the doors to head on inside. "This is a pretty big house." Chaeyeon commented while following Chaewon as they followed the signs of where to go.
"Well, it is a frat house, Yeon. What do you expect?" Chaewon laughed as Chaeyeon rolled her eyes. "I know that, but I just don't get why Gu wanted us to come to this event or whatever. He's not a member is he?" "I don't know. I never asked him." Soon they came upon another young PTG member who was standing outside the door that would actually lead them inside the main area. "Hello. Please placed your invitation into one of these ten boxes." He informed while pointing at the blue and black boxes that had pictures of the PTG members on them. "Whoever invited you, but let me marked your wrist with your seats first."
"Oh." The sisters said as they placed their invitations into their step-brother's box upon seeing his face although no name was associated with it. "Okay, thanks. These are for you." The young male spoke again as he handed each of them five golden pieces of paper. "Please don't lose these. You'll need them for the event when all the stages have been completed. It's necessary so do as your told once they announced further details about what to do with them." The male explained before letting the pair passed on through after they nodded indicating they understood what he meant.
Once inside they were amazed to see almost all of the seats completely filled. "This must be some event if Hyunggu wanted us to be here." Chaeyeon said as Chaewon smiled. "Probably. I just know he was excited about this." "I guess, Won, but Gu better show himself later. I didn't skipped out on my 'me time' for nothing tonight." "Stop being a loner. You don't do anything anyways on Saturdays. So you need to get out more." "No I don't, Won." "Yeah, yeah, let's go look for our seats." Chaewon lead them to their designated seats which weren't that hard to find due to the large letters and numbers placed for easy access to direct them.
"Hello everyone! Thank you for joining us tonight." Another young PTG member who was the MC announced once everyone was settled and the event began. "We have some lovely stages for you all to enjoy tonight from our members who put on this show for our very first charity fundraiser we hope to make as a monthly thing from now on." The MC explained. "The golden tickets you were given are votes that actually helps to which of these charities it will go to based upon the five members who wins. So when all is done, everyone will come up and placed one golden ticket between which five of the ten stages you liked the best."
The crowd began chattering as the MC continued once he quieted the audience. "Also, the actual event ticket you used as your invitation to enter from earlier that you placed it into a box of who you were invited by. This will actually help with another thing we're trying to do monthly as well." He clapped his hand excitedly. "Now, this is the real fun. There are ten performances as we have a one on one battle with our ten members." He announced the first round challengers. "For our first stage it's Shinwon versus Yeo One! Which of the two are going to captivate you guys with their emotional vocals?! Let's find out!"
Shinwon came on the stage first accompanied by a keyboard. "Hey, Won, it's your best-est friend in the whole wide world as so he claims." Chaeyeon said with a chuckle. "I didn't know Shinwon could play the piano." "Oh yeah. I completely forgot about that." Chaewon answered with a laugh. After Shinwon, Changgu came out as Chaewon nudged her sister with a sly look. "Hey, Yeon, there's your best friend that likes to bug you all the time." Chaeyeon rolled her eyes, but didn't say anything. "Both of them were amazing, weren't they? Give them a round of applause." The MC said before announcing the second challengers.
"Now getting into our second stage it's Yuto versus Kino! They'll be showing us a spectacular performance and it'll be a showdown between the both of them and which one of them will blow your minds?! Let's find out!" Yuto came out and Chaewon suddenly had heart eyes. "You can stop drooling, Won." Chaeyeon teased as Chaewon rolled her eyes. "Not even." After Yuto, Hyunggu walked out soon after as Chaeyeon looked at him weirdly. "Did he mentioned going by Kino to you at all, Won?" "Um, I really don't remember. I think Gu mentioned it once or twice. Shit, I don't know."
"Whoo! They sure heated up the room, didn't they?" The MC joked before continuing. "Alright. We're halfway through and we have E'Dawn versus Wooseok as they go at it to show us who's rap is the best! Of course, that all depends on who you all side with in the end. So let's find out!" When Hyojung came out Chaeyeon recognized him. "Hey, that's one of Hyunggu's dancing buddies that likes to tease him a lot. I didn't know he went by something else." Chaewon nodded. "Maybe it's a PTG thing or something." "Makes sense." After Hyojung's performance, Wooseok came out with a familiar beat that Chaeyeon groaned. "I hate this song."
"You hate everything." Chaewon deadpanned as Chaeyeon smiled. "True. Luckily his voice isn't that bad." "I like it." The MC came back out after Wooseok's performance while doing a little jig and laughing after doing it. "Awesome sauce. So far it's been amazing and now we're bringing the mood down for our next stage with Yanan versus Hongseok! Which of these will win your hearts as they confront you with sweet ballads?! Let's get it on!" Yanan came out first with Chaewon letting out a loud cheer. "Whoo! Yeah, go Yanan!" "You know him?" Chaeyeon asked as Chaewon nodded. "Yeah, he's in my statistics class and has such a lovely voice."
Once Yanan finished Hongseok came out next with Chaewon nudging her sister constantly. "Stop that." Chaeyeon told her, but Chaewon did it again with a playful look. "Oh, c'mon Yeon. It's your boy friend. As his girl friend you need to cheer for him." "Seok doesn't need my cheers, Won. He has plenty of fans for that. Besides, now that I think about it I think he tried inviting me to this thing before Hyunggu did." "And you being you, he knew that you'll won't come." "Yup." "Rude." "Not even." When Hongseok finished the MC came out once more while clapping.
"Those two performances really touched my heart. Those feels really hit the heart." The MC pretended to wipe away a tear before announcing the last round of challenges. "Now, our last two performers will showcase their awesome vocals! It's Hui versus Jinho as they put their vocal power to the test! Who do you think has what it takes?! Let's get it on!" When Hwitaek came out Chaewon was already nudging her sister with a laugh. "He seems like your type." "I don't have a type, Won." Chaeyeon rolled her eyes. "I'm usually right, y'know." "Yeah, that's what you said about Jaebum." "Still your type despite his controlling attitude." "Shut up."
Jinho went next after Hwitaek was done performing. "Aww, it's little cutie Jinho!" Chaewon cooed as Chaeyeon laughed. "You know how much he hates being called cute, Won." "I know, but he doesn't have to know that." "True, but I honestly didn't know that some of the guys we know were apart of PTG." "Me either." The MC appeared once again when Jinho was done as he clapped and cheered for all the performers. "Alright, ladies and gentlemen. Now that all the stages have been cleared we'll invite all of you to come on stage to cast in your votes. Don't worry, everything has been labeled." He told them with a smile before continuing.
"Anyways, the results will be posted on our social media accounts tomorrow. If you haven't followed us yet, then please do so as you'll all be better informed about anything regarding Phi Tau Gamma." The MC said with a laugh. "Now, if you all come up to vote that would be great. Please don't push one another as we all want this to go smoothly as possible. Once done, you'll be shown out and thank you all for coming! Have a great night people!" He finished as the crowd quickly stood up to cast in their votes, but the sisters sat where they were while they waited for a majority of the people to go through first.
"It wasn't that bad. It was okay." Chaeyeon commented as Chaewon grinned. "I knew you would have fun." "Yeah, yeah, whatever Won, it was fun." The younger woman then cast the older woman a sly look. "Good, because after this we have somewhere else to be." Chaeyeon groaned. "Ugh. I knew you were going to drag me somewhere else, too." "That's right." The pair then got up when the crowd died down as they went up to cast in their votes with Chaewon having a difficult time in voting for some of the stages while Chaeyeon knew who she already wanted to vote for.
Chaewon struggled between Hyunggu and Yuto. "Ugh, Yeon. Who should I vote for?" "Well, Won, I'm going to vote for Hyunggu for sure." Chaeyeon laughed. "Just vote for Yuto. The little bro won't know." She suggested as Chaewon did just that a moment later. "He better not, unless you tell him." "Yeah, unless I say something, but who knows if I will or not." "Probably not." "Exactly." The sisters continued on before being directed out of the house once they were done casting their votes. "Alright, let's go." Chaewon said as Chaeyeon followed her sister. "Where are we going?" "Oh nothing special. Just gonna hang out and eat." "Yeah, right."
"Wonnie!" Shinwon exclaimed upon seeing Chaewon first when she and Chaeyeon entered the burger joint. "Hey, Shinwon!" She greeted him back as the duo hugged and he spotted Chaeyeon behind her while letting Chaewon go. "Hey, Yeonnie." He grinned as she waved at him, but saw his facial expression and reluctantly went in for a hug. "Hi, Shinwon." "At least sound happy when you see me." He pouted as she rolled her eyes. "You got Won for that." "Oh right. I forgot you have your boy friend, Hongseok, over there." He teased while indicating with his head in Hongseok's direction. "Shut up."
Shinwon placed his arms around both sisters' shoulders as he led them to their large tables. "Hey, guys. Look who showed up." He announced while letting them go as the group of nine looked over at the trio. Chaewon went around the table hugging those that she knew, but didn't want to leave out the others and hugged them as well who were opened to the gesture and hugged her back. Shinwon ended up with a hug twice. Chaeyeon stayed put as she watched her sister hug the guys leaving Hyunggu to come over to her and hug her first. "Hey, Yeon." He greeted with a grinned as Chaeyeon shot him a small smile. "Hi, Gu."
"I'm glad you guys came." He said once Chaewon was done hugging the others. "Of course, little bro." She smiled at him. "Had to convinced this one hardcore though." Chaewon said as she pointed in Chaeyeon's direction with Hyunggu hugging Chaewon afterwards with a chuckle. "Hehe thanks, Won." "You're welcome." He glanced at Chaeyeon. "Glad to see you interacting, Yeon." He chuckled as Chaeyeon rolled her eyes. "Okay, Gu, you saw me and now I'm gonna go. You got Won now." "Aww, Yeon, don't be like that. Your boy friend was just asking about you."
Hyunggu teased as he motioned his head at Hongseok who waved at the duo with a warm smile. "You guys are so annoying." "You still love us." Hyunggu grinned as he led his step-sisters closer to introduced them to the rest of his friends. "Guys, I think most of you met them already, but not formally." He began, "These are my sisters, Chaewon," He tilted his head to the left before tilting it to the right, "And this is Chaeyeon." Before Hyunggu could introduce the names of his friends to his step-sisters, the others sprouted their own questions and concerns a second later.
"I thought you only had one sister named Minju." Wooseok said in confusion. "Chaewon's your step-sister? Since when?" Shinwon asked surprised while looking over at Chaewon who shrugged with a smile. "No way Chaeyeon's your step-sister, Kino, or she would have said something about knowing you." Hongseok said looking over at Chaeyeon who just smiled at him. "That Chaeyeon is the same Chaeyeon that I always bug about sharing her jelly snacks with me?" Changgu asked while pointing at Chaeyeon who glared at him. "Yeah, Changgu." "It's Yeo One." He corrected. "Mmhmm." "You still owe me jellies." "No. I don't."
"No, wait. I'm confused. The Chaewon in my statistics class is the same Chaewon who's your sister, Kino?" Yanan asked as he tried to process the information while Chaewon laughed. "Yeah, Yanan, that's still me. The one and same Chaewon." She confirmed as Hyunggu put his hands up to quiet his friends. "Long story short, our parents married one another over the summer and now we're siblings. They're my step-sisters." He clarified causing everyone to calm down. "Ohhhh." "C'mon, let's get settled now that we're all here and the food should be coming out soon." Hyunggu said as he motioned for his sisters to sit on either side of him.
Chaewon sat next to Jinho while Chaeyeon sat beside Hyojung. "I always thought you were Kino's girlfriend." Hyojung laughed as Chaeyeon scoffed. "This kid's girlfriend?" She pointed at Hyunggu. "Yeah, right. More like his mother since he's so mischievous and such a troublemaker." "No I'm not." Hyunggu defended himself. "You're just naggy." "I know right." Chaewon agreed. "Now you know my pain for these past years." "She's not that bad." Jinho reasoned as Chaeyeon leaned over her brother and sister to give him a high-five. "She just has her moments." Chaeyeon frowned as she retreated back without her high-five while Jinho laughed.
"Anyways, did you two enjoy our performances?" Hwitaek asked just casually starting conversations. "Oh, yes, it was amazing!" Chaewon said with excitement. "All of you were great." "Who did you vote for?" Yuto asked casually, but his eyes seemed to have lingered on Chaewon a second longer. "It's a secret." Chaewon answered with a playful laugh as Chaeyeon replied with the truth in a neutral tone. "Yeo One, Kino, E'Dawn, Hongseok, and Hui." "Oh, why, why, why?" The others asked when their names weren't called or were called and wanted to know why Chaeyeon said who she voted for.
She finally got her moment to explain. "Sorry Shinwon, but I like Changgu's voice a little more." Chaeyeon pointed at Changgu who smiled at her. "Alright, so you don't hate me." "I still do, jelly stealer." "I said I would paid you back." "Yeah, that's been like a year already." "I'm still working on it." Shinwon faked pouted as he interjected on the conversation. "What, Chaeyeon? Like that? Our friendship out the window just like that?" "You're Chaewon's friend more than you are with me, Shin." Chaeyeon rolled her eyes at Shinwon chuckled. "I know, Yeon, but you're easy too tease." "Am not." She grumbled.
"Anyways," She continued on before throwing a thumb in Hyunggu's direction. "Because he's my brother, obviously." "That can't be the only reason, Yeon." Hyunggu said as Chaeyeon dismissed him. "Yes it is." "Wow." She ignored him with a smile. "And I know him a bit better." She directed a thumb at Hyojung who patted her on the back. "That's good to know that you chose me because you know me better than Wooseok." Hyojung chuckled as she smiled. "Yup." Then pointed at Hongseok with an aloof expression. "Hongseok is just because he's Hongseok."
"I still can't believe you didn't come when I invited you way before Kino did, Yeon, but you still came for him at the end instead of for me." Hongseok sulked as Chaeyeon smirked. "You have your other fangirls to impress, Seok." "But you're still my best girl friend, y'know, Yeon." "I know." "Wow." Chaeyeon laughed with a shake of her head as she then looked over at Hwitaek while motioning her chin at him. "And I thought his performance was more engaging and fun. Sorry Jinho." She apologized to Jinho with a small smile as Jinho pouted. "I thought we were friends." "We're not really friends." "Rude." "You got Won, anyways." "Still."
Chaeyeon stood up while speaking. "I need to use the restroom. I'll be back soon." "You better." Chaewon remarked as she glared after her sister's retreating back. "I don't think she'll be back." Hyunggu chuckled as Chaewon agreed. "I know." She then looked about the table and realized that her sister and her were the only females at the table. "Um, are there any other girls coming, too?" "It's just us." Hongseok answered with a smile before becoming playful. "Feeling shy, Won?" "No." She then looked around her surrounding and over her shoulders with a face. "I just don't want to get attacked by any of your fangirls."
"We don't have fangirls." Wooseok said with a confused face. "Phi Tau Gamma is pretty popular." She stated while pointing at Yanan with a laugh. "I feel so bad for Yanan during class because all the girls surround him and talk about stupid stuff. When they aren't surrounding him then I get glares when him and I are partnered for a lot of the assignments because none of them get paired up with him. It's really annoying." Chaewon then looked over at Yanan. "I think we should stop working together. It's getting in the way of my studying." "I'm sorry." Yanan apologized as Chaewon chuckled. "I was just joking." "Oh. I thought you were serious."
"Won's never serious." Shinwon remarked as Chaewon grinned at him while making a gun motion at him. "Only sometimes." "Hi!" Their waitress greeted them as she brought out their food with the help of another waitresses. She then spotted Chaewon and frowned. "Um, you're part of the large group, too?" "Yeah. My sister and I just got here." "Oh, I see." She said and then ignored Chaewon as she and the other waitress passed out the boys' food and left without taking Chaewon's order. "The fuck." She looked over at Hyunggu. "That's why I told you to put in our order because girls like them do this when it's a only bunch of guys."
"Sorry, Won." Hyunggu apologized with a sad expression. "We did tell them that we had two more people joining us and they were okay with it." "It's whatever, Gu. Don't worry about it. That's them." "Here, Won, you can have some of my shrimp pasta." Jinho said with a smile as he took the plate from beneath his rectangular bowl and started transferring some of his pasta contents to share with Chaewon. "It's okay, Jinho." "No, take some. I know you like pasta just as me although I can share unlike you." Chaewon smiled. "Very true, but thanks, Jinho." "You're welcome, Won."
"Hey, Kino." Hwitaek called for the younger male's attention after a few more minutes have passed. "Aren't you concern that your other sister hasn't come back yet?" Both Hyunggu and Chaewon instantly turned to Chaeyeon's empty seat with the others doing the same a second later. "How long has it been already?" Yuto asked as Changgu's eyes shifted towards the direction of where the restrooms were located. "I think it's been at least twenty minutes by now." "You think she fell in?" Wooseok joked as some of them chuckled.
"Maybe she did make an escape." Hongseok chuckled with a shake of his head. "She usually does and only a handful of times does she stay." "Maybe." Hyunggu nodded as Chaewon shook her head. "Although she would, but I drove so she can't leave unless she take the bus which she won't since she forgot her wallet." "Sounds like Yeon." Jinho chuckled as Yanan spoke a second later. "Oh, there she is." Yanan said as he pointed upon seeing Chaeyeon returning, but his eyebrows furrowed. "But she looks a bit mad or something." "Hey there, Yeon." Hyojung greeted her.
"Took you long enough to come back." He teased a second later, but Chaeyeon didn't hear him as she whispered into her sister's ear. "We gotta go." "Why?" Chaewon asked before looking at Chaeyeon and frowned. "Have you been crying?" "That's not the point, Won. Let's go." "The food just came and I just started eating." "We need to go now. Seriously, Won." Chaeyeon urged as her eyes darted elsewhere while Chaewon turned to see where her sister was looking and groaned. "Oh shit." She let out upon seeing a few people she didn't want to see and wished she listened to Chaeyeon a second ago.
"Well, what do we have here?" A male voiced asked as the ten members of PTG turned their attention to the seven GOT members standing before them with the Jaebum speaking while he cast a look in Chaeyeon's direction. "This is where you would rather be, Yeon?" "Don't do this here, JB. We've been done for months now." "I'll deal with you again later because we're not here for you and I now. We're here because of Chaewon." "They've been done for months now, too. So don't do this." Chaewon stood up. "It's okay, Yeon. It's not our fault that they can't drop their issues and always have to bring it up every time they see us."
Chaewon turned her attention onto one particular member of GOT. "This is so embarrassing, Mark, and you and I both know it." "I'm just asking for another chance, Won." "And I said no so many times, Mark. I don't get why you can't comprehend that." "C'mon, Won. Gamma Omega Tau's a whole lot better than Phi Tau Gamma." "I don't care. Just go already." "Not without you, Won." "Mark, we're not together anymore and you know that. You have Jessica or Holly or whatever her name is now." "But she's not you." "Should've thought of that sooner, huh? Now please just go." "I'm not going until you take me back."
"I think both of them said they don't want anything to do with you, so why don't you just go?" Hyunggu advised while standing up alongside his step-sisters. "This doesn't concern you, squirt, so back off." Jaebum glared at Hyunggu before Chaeyeon moved to stand in front of her step-brother and sister protectively as he cast her a look while taking a step closer causing the rest of PTG to stand up as well in defense mode. "What? Is this the new little boyfriend of yours you've left me for?" "No. He is." Chaeyeon pointed at Hongseok and in an instant Hongseok made his way to Chaeyeon's side and squared of Jaebum.
"I don't appreciate you hounding my girl friend and her sister when they already told you to back off. I would suggest for you and your crew to leave before something ugly happens." Hongseok said in a firm tone while placing his arm to move Chaeyeon behind him. "People are beginning to stare so I don't think you wanna cause a bigger scene than you already have." "Fine." Jaebum relented, but cast dark eyes onto Chaeyeon who glared back at him. "We're not done." "The same to you too, Won." Mark added still staring at Chaewon who just rolled her eyes as the seven members of GOT finally left the group of twelve alone.
Chaeyeon lightly back-hugged Hongseok while letting out a relieved breath. "Thank you so much, Seok." Hongseok patted her hand with a warm smile. "You're welcome, Yeon. Any time." Chaeyeon removed her arms from around Hongseok while Hongseok patted her head. "Just be more careful." "I will." "Good." Hongseok returned back to his seat while Chaewon slightly smacked Hyunggu in the butt playfully. "Next time, Gu, just stay out of it. Thanks though." "What? I can't protect my sisters?" He glanced at them as both sisters shook their heads. "No, because then it causes more drama." Chaewon stated as Hyunggu rolled his eyes.
"Then what about Hongseok? He protected Yeon by being her boyfriend." "Because that's just our deal since we've known each other whenever we need help in situations like the one that just happened just now." Chaeyeon explained as Hongseok nodded. "Yup although Yeon needs my help more than I need hers since we agreed to doing that." "Yeah, okay, when one of your fangirl gets it into her head a little too much next time, don't call me." "I was only kidding." "Sure." Chaeyeon then glanced around at the others who all were now seated with an apologetic expression. "Sorry that you guys had to see that."
The males all dismissed it casually with 'it's okay' while Hyunggu pulled Chaeyeon back down to her seat. "Forget them, Yeon. Let's eat." She groaned. "Now I remember what I was supposed to do before running into them." Chaewon cast her sister a narrowed look. "You were gonna run away, huh?" Chaeyeon laughed. "Yeah." "This girl." Chaewon laughed while digging into her shrimp pasta. "So rude, Yeon." Hyunggu pouted as Chaeyeon patted his thigh with a chuckle. "You'll get over it." He rolled his eyes, but smiled. "Still, thanks for coming." "Welcome." "Okay, Yeon, now eat." Hyojung grinned as he halfed his meal with Chaeyeon. "Thanks, Hyo."
Chaeyeon was quietly studying in one of the music rooms in the Music department as she was waiting for her friend, Sunmi, to finish what she needed to finish before going on their weekly lunch date. "Hey, Yeon?" Sunmi called for her friend's attention as Chaeyeon didn't look up, but still answered her. "Hmm?" "I'll be right back. I have to see my advisor about something and then we can go get lunch, okay?" "Okay." "Thanks and I'll be back." Sunmi said as she left the room leaving Chaeyeon to herself who was almost done with her studying until she heard the door open again a few minutes later.
"That was fa-" The rest of Chaeyeon's words got caught in her throat as she stared at her ex-boyfriend before sighing. "What are you doing here, JB?" "I'm majoring in music, Yeon. I'm pretty sure you know that." Jaebum answered with a smirked as he made his way towards the female who was already packing her things. "I do, but I meant why are you here in this room." She re-worded as she shot him a tired look already done packing her things and about to go. "I honestly don't know why you keep on going round and round with this who thing, Jaebum." She told him with another tired expression. "You're just wasting your time."
Chaeyeon made her way to leave out of the room, but Jaebum blocked her path. "You're not leaving until I get what I want." "Well, you can't have everything you want, Jaebum, that's life." Chaeyeon remarked side-stepping around him only to be grabbed by her arm to face Jaebum again. "I had you once, Chaeyeon, and I'll have you again." Jaebum told her with a dark tone while Chaeyeon's body tensed with the familiar feeling as this has happened once before, but without the physical aspect of it. "You're not going to control me or my life again, JB." Chaeyeon told him with a firm voice and hoped it would stay for a bit longer.
With her other hand Chaeyeon placed it onto his wrist to removed it from her other arm. "And I would advised you to not put your hands on me again." "I'll do wha-" Jaebum didn't get to finish his sentence because Chaeyeon had push his body away from her with as much force as she could muster before running towards the door to make her escape. Just as she had got the door opened it slammed shut a second later with Jaebum's body pressed against hers trapping her between him and the door. "I told you, Yeon." He breathed against her. "I'll have you like I did before."
Feeling desperate to get out of this situation Chaeyeon placed her palms against the door to push Jaebum off of her with enough force that had him stumbled back off of her. She took this chance to turn around and threw her bag at him to distract the male further. "I told you to not put your hands on me!" She screamed while charging against him and pushing him backwards to collide with the chairs and musical stands. "I'll never go back to you! So why can't you understand that?!" She yelled at him while picking up her bag and hitting him with it a couple of times. "Stop your shit. This is my final warning, Jaebum. Leave me the fuck alone!"
Chaeyeon hit Jaebum with her book-bag one last time before making a run out of the room, but she collided against another body and tumbled to the floor a few seconds later after running out of the music room. "Whoa there, are you okay?" A male voice asked as he tried helping her up with Chaeyeon's mind wanting to get out of there as fast as possible. Before she could run away again the guy happened to recognized her when Chaeyeon unconsciously ran a hand through her hair to smooth it out and out of her face. "Are you okay, Chaeyeon? Do I need to call Kino or get a hold of Chaewon for you?"
"What?" Chaeyeon let out distractedly upon hearing her siblings' names before facing the guy and remembering him when they've met a week ago. "Oh hi, um, Hui, right?" "Yeah, that's my nickname. Hwitaek's my real name." He smiled at her warmly, but frown as he noticed her eyes darting to the left of her as if she was worried about something. "Is something the matter?" "I-" Chaeyeon didn't get to finish as they both heard her name being called loudly while turning to the source. Jaebum stormed towards the duo with Chaeyeon instantly clutching onto Hwitaek's arm for comfort which alerted Hwitaek that something was not right.
Hwitaek moved in front of Chaeyeon while moving her behind him in a protective manner upon seeing Jaebum's disheveled state. "Move. I need to talk to my girlfriend." Jaebum ordered Hwitaek once he arrived, but Hwitaek shook his head with a firm stance. "Last I heard she wasn't your girlfriend anymore." "Well, you heard wrong and she's mine again. Now move." "No. From what I can see, Chaeyeon doesn't want anything to do with you." "Fuck you man. You're not a part of this. Unless your her boyfriend, which you're not because I am, it's between Yeon and I. Now move. I won't repeat myself again."
"Fuck you, Jaebum." Chaeyeon let out in an exasperated tone. "We're not together. Can't you see I want nothing to do with you? Hwi, tell him." Hwitaek heard the nickname and continued to go along with it. "Like Yeon said, you're not together." Hwitaek told Jaebum with a calm face. "Now, if you'll excuse us, my girlfriend and I, and yes I'm her boyfriend and not you, but we're running late for our lunch date." At first Chaeyeon was confused, but she went with it not even a second later. "Yes, Jaebum. Hwi and I have a lunch date. Can't you see that I've moved on? Please get that through your head."
Jaebum didn't back down as his eyes narrowed suspiciously at the duo. "He's not your boyfriend when that other dude claimed to be your boyfriend, too, Yeon. Are you sleeping around with a bunch of guys to spite me and telling them to be your boyfriend?" Chaeyeon wanted to beat the shit out of the guy. "I'm not sleeping with anyone. Just leave me the fuck alone, JB. I don't have time for your dumb ass shit anymore. This is why we broke up in the first place." Before Jaebum could counter or Chaeyeon could continue another voice interrupted them to which Chaeyeon recognized. "Hey, JB, did it work out?" Sunmi asked with a smile.
"Really, Sunmi?" Chaeyeon turned to face her friend with a betrayed expression. "I told you that I wanted nothing to do with him and you went behind my back?" "C'mon, Chaeyeon. JB isn't the one at fault. You were the one that really made him upset with you. You're lucky that the president of GOT even likes you and wants to be your boyfriend." Sunmi defended Jaebum who smiled at the female. "If it was me, I would be super thrilled to have JB as my boyfriend." "Then he's all yours, Sunmi. I'm done with his shit." Chaeyeon told her with a disgusted look. "I can't believe you would take his side instead of mine."
Chaeyeon then shot a fierce look in Jaebum's direction. "The next time you come near me again, JB, expect a restraining order on your ass." She finally faced her supposed friend. "I really expected better from you, Sunmi." Chaeyeon ran a hand through her hair as she adjusted her backpack on her shoulder before taking a hold of Hwitaek's hand who watched the scene silently. "C'mon Hwi. Let's get out of here." "Oh, right." Hwitaek let out confused before recovering and letting Chaeyeon lead them away with neither of them glancing back as Jaebum glared after the two and Sunmi frowning upon what had just happened.
Once Hwitaek and Chaeyeon exited the Music building she let go of his hand and let out a deep breath. "I'm really sorry about all of that, Hwitaek." She apologized while turning to face the male as he smiled at her. "Don't apologize, Chaeyeon. It wasn't your fault. I'm glad to have helped out Kino's sister as one of his friends." "Yeah, thanks, but you really didn't have to go so far with the whole boyfriend thing." He let out an embarrassed laugh as the two were now casually walking. "Oh yeah. Well, Hongseok made it looked easy, but I figured it'll work again since that guy backed off when Hongseok helped you out last time."
Chaeyeon smiled at him while letting out a small laugh. "Yeah, well, Seok has had some experienced with that kind of thing that's why." Hwitaek raised an eyebrow as his interest was piqued. "Oh, so this is a common thing that happens with you often, Yeon?" Chaeyeon laughed in shy embarrassment as she thought about it. "Kinda now that you mentioned it. I need to stay away from guys. Wait, scratched that. I need to stay away from relationships in general." "Aw, Yeon don't think like that. I thought you and I were going to get lunch since you called me Hwi and we've become friends now."
She eyed the male. "It was to convince Jaebum that you and I were on friendly basis." Hwitaek pouted while also showing her puppy eyes. "And here I thought you and I were going to get lunch and get to know one another better." "Am I going to have to worry about you popping up more often in my life, too?" His expression changed as he laughed while dismissing her notion in a friendly way. "If you're Kino's sister and you'll be around more often since he finally introduced you, Chaeyeon, I think it'll be highly likely for you to see me around as often as you would not like to."
"So basically, Hwitaek, I'm going to have to worry about you popping up around me upon campus then." She deadpanned with a smile as Hwitaek laughed with a nod. "Yeah, basically." "I guess I'll have to deal with it then and I do owe you my appreciation for helping me out with my situation." "Okay, good, because I'm hungry and I haven't eaten since last night." "Why not?" She looked at him in alarmed as he reassured her. "Oh, it's nothing bad or anything. I just stayed up all night working on this music composition and just finished it a while ago." "And then you had to deal with Jaebum after that. I am so sorry, Hwitaek."
Chaeyeon apologized before speaking again. "Are you sure you don't want to sleep instead?" "And miss out on a lunch date with you? No way." Hwitaek grinned with a wink while she rolled her eyes. "You better be careful, Hwi, or my other pretend boy friend will find out." "I'm sure Hongseok will understand although he told me once that you needed a real boyfriend since he won't always be there to help you out." "Oh really?" "Yeah, he also said something about you being quite needy." Chaeyeon raised a brow. "His words, not mine so don't take it out on me."Hwitaek told her as he put a few more inches of space between them.
"That brat." Chaeyeon scoffed before looking over at him. "And what? You want to fill that role or something?" "I wasn't planning on it, but since you mentioned it now I don't mind if it helps you out, Yeon." "I don't even know you and we only officially met like last week, Hwi." "True, but you did vote for me instead of Jinho." "That doesn't mean anything." "You also called me Hwi instead of by my full name." "Because it's easier." "It means you like me a little." "I think there's something going on in that head of yours due to the lack of sleep." "Maybe or I just find you a bit interesting and want to get to know you better now that it's just us."
Chaeyeon eyed him. "You don't want to. I have horrible people skills and prefer to spend my time alone and with books." She then threw a thumb behind her. "Couldn't you tell by my ex-boyfriend and maybe now ex-friend?" "Those are only two people of many." He reasoned with a smile. "Besides, I've heard plenty of stories about you from Kino, E'Dawn, Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, and Yeo One." "So that means you guys talk about me behind my back?" "Yes, but they're not all bad things, Yeon." She eyed him once again as he cast her a reassuring look. "Really, they're great stories. You're quite the character, Yeon."
"And what, Hwitaek? You want to enter the Book of Lee Chaeyeon so you can join me?" Chaeyeon sarcastically asked as Hwitaek laughed at her reaction. "I'm pretty sure you already asked me, but in a different form." "I did, but it's whatever." She shrugged as she looked over at him. "I guess we can just get something to eat. It doesn't have to mean anything." He looked over at her as well. "True, but who knows? Maybe you'll want to do it again." "Maybe." "That's still a yes in my book." He laughed as Chaeyeon eyed him again. "Maybe you need a new book." He smiled. "Let's set that up for a library date next time." "Maybe."
Chaewon arrived first at the cafe that she and Shinwon agreed to meet at for their weekly lunch dates. She had just put in an order for her drink when someone took a seat across from her while she was reading through the menu. "Finally, Shinwon." She said with a roll of her eyes while putting down the menu, but frowned upon seeing Mark sitting there instead of her friend. "What are you doing here? Are you following me?" "Now why would I be following you? I just happened to see you come in and thought I'll join you." Mark casually said as he picked up the menu and browsed its contents. "What are you getting?" He asked.
"Stop this, Mark. We're over. Now please leave." Chaewon told him while putting her menu down and whispered so that others wouldn't overhear. "So that you can have lunch with that friend of yours? What was his name again? Shin-something." Mark said while putting the menu down as well to glare at her. "Is he the reason why you broke up with me?" "No. You're the reason why I broke up with you." "Me? What did I do to make you break up with me?" "Are you really asking me that question, Mark? It's pretty obvious of what you did when I walked in on you and what's her face."
"We really didn't do anything wrong, Won. Besides we were on a break." Mark stated in a nonchalant manner causing Chaewon to scoff at his behavior. "Seriously? We weren't on a break, Mark. You know me already. It's either a break-up or we work it out, but clearly to you it's whatever you think goes for you." She then eyed him warily. "Also you were possessive and highly jealous, but that didn't stop you from being flirty and friendly. I just thought it was because it was something typical in every relationship, but with you it's a whole other level, Mark."
"It's because you kept hanging out with guys, Chaewon. I told you that you couldn't hang out with them unless I was around with you and them." "And I told you that they were just friends. I made it clear to you that I only liked you. I never said anything about you hanging out with your female friends or being super friendly with them." "Because they were just friends, Won." "Exactly, Mark." "So?" Chaewon wanted to wring his neck for not comprehending what she was trying to point out. "Never mind. It doesn't matter." She dismissed as she picked up the menu again. "We're not together so I don't have to tell you anything about my life."
Mark snatched the menu from out of her hand as he leaned over the table. "Yeah you do because I'm still not over you." "Well you better learn, Mark, because I'm not going back to you. Besides, you were fine without me before you and I got together." She shot him a mocked smile. "Now leave, Mark." "Seriously, Won, just give me another chance." Mark pleaded as Chaewon rolled her eyes. "Another chance? No way. I forgave you once when you broke my phone when you thought I was cheating on you because all my guy friends kept messaging me. I'm not giving you another one when you were thee one that cheated."
Before Mark could countered he was interrupted by the waitress placing Chaewon's drink on the table. "Here you go, sweetie." The waitress said before looking over at Mark. "What could I get for you, hon?" "Nothing. He was just leaving." Chaewon answered instead. "Could you give me some more time, please?" "Sure thing, hon." The waitress smiled before leaving again and not noticing the tension between the two. "I was about to order me a mango sweet tea, Won." Mark said with a dejected look as Chaewon let out a sigh before looking at him again. "Leave, Mark." "I don't want to." He smiled leaning back into his seat now.
They were interrupted again, but not by any of the staff causing Mark to glare at the younger male. "Sorry, Chaewon. Class got out late. I'm sorry for making you wait." The guy said as Chaewon looked up to see who it was as she didn't recognized the voice until she saw his face. "Oh, hi, Yuto." Her face brightened upon seeing the male and Mark didn't like it. "It's all good. Not worries. The wait was worth it." Chaewon said although she wasn't sure why he was here and not Shinwon while she was about to stand up and hug the male, but Mark leaned over to push her back down. "I don't think so."
"I asked that you don't touch her, please." Yuto told Mark with a kind smile, but it disappeared when Mark stood up to square him up. "Who do you think you are to tell me what I can and cannot do?" Mark said in a dark tone while glaring. "Her boyfriend." Yuto answered without hesitation although Chaewon glanced at Yuto questioningly, but quickly hid that so that Mark didn't catch it. "Excuse me? Her boyfriend?" Mark scoffed as he cast a look in Chaewon's direction before looking at Yuto again. "She doesn't have a boyfriend. Her and I were about to get back together before you interrupted us. So you can step off."
Chaewon rolled her eyes while standing up and separating the two males from one another. "No, we're not, Yuto." She said as she glared at Mark. "Stop lying, Mark. Don't cause a scene, please. We're done and over for months already. I seriously don't understand why you can't understand that. I've told you so many times already. Now let me enjoy my lunch date with Yuto." "You're not going to enjoy anything with another male if it isn't me." Mark said before throwing a punch at Yuto who stumbled backwards into another table and grabbing a hold of Chaewon's wrist and dragging her out of the cafe.
"Let go, Mark." Chaewon told him as she tried to free her wrist. "You're hurting me." Mark continued to hold onto her wrist and disregarded everything that she was saying. "Seriously let go." Chaewon ripped her arm from his grasped and pushed him away from her once he turned to face the female. "You're not my boyfriend, Mark. I'm not your property. I am a human being with a mind of her own so leave me the fuck alone, Mark. Seriously." She told the male with a firm tone, but she really wanted to raise her voice as she felt that Mark was still not getting it despite her calm and firm tone.
Mark tried to reach out for her again, but she moved out of his way. Before he could do it again, Yuto finally caught up to them and intervened by standing in-between the two. "I don't know what your deal is, but this is between me and her." Mark told Yuto with clenched fists. "I'm not sure what your deal is either, but this actually does concern me because I already told you that I was her boyfriend." Yuto stated while making sure that Chaewon was behind him and out of Mark's reach. "And it's my job to protect her, especially from crazy and jealous ex-boyfriends who keeps on bothering her for no real reason."
Chaewon was confused on Yuto's words although she appreciated his help, but went along with him because she wanted Mark out of her life for good. "Can't you understand that, Mark? We're no longer an item. I've moved on with Yuto." Mark narrowed his eyes at the female once he noticed her step from behind Yuto. "No, Chaewon. You can't have moved on that fast. You're lying. If you give me another chance, then I'll promise that I'll be good and do you good. Just don't leave me." He begged as his expression became one of regret, but Chaewon knew that he was only faking it to get her back and wouldn't really change.
"I'm sorry, Mark, but no. I'm done with you and everything that concerns you. No more." Chaewon told him with a shake of her head. "I'm tired of telling you that we're done and over with over and over again. I'm tired of repeating myself and saying the same shit when I know that you already know that we're no more. So please understand that and just leave me the fuck alone from now on." Mark was about to countered, but Yuto interrupted him with a firm tone. "Just listen to her, please. She's done with you and has no reason to take you back again. So get the fuck away from her or I'll take care of you myself once and for all."
"Fine." Mark relented backing off, but his eyes never left Chaewon. "I could've been the best you ever had, Won, but you had to go and settled for whatever he is." He lingered for a moment longer, but saw that Chaewon made no move to come after him. "You're loss, Chaewon." Mark said with a shake of his head before turning around and finally leaving Chaewon and Yuto alone. Once Mark's figure disappeared Chaewon let out a relieved breath and jumped a bit when she felt Yuto's hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay, Chaewon?" He asked once she looked at him.
"Yeah. I'm totally fine. Thanks a lot, Yuto." She smiled at the male before frowning a bit after realizing that Shinwon never showed up. "Um, how come you're here? Where's Shinwon?" "Ah, about that." He let out with a sheepish laugh as he stood up right again. "Well," He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "He sent me." "Why? What happened?" "Um, he had a modeling auditioned to attend to and told me to come meet with you." "That brat. Did he tell you to pretend to be my boyfriend, too?" "Uh, no. That was all me." Chaewon looked at him in confusion. "Why would you do that? Did Shinwon mentioned anything to you about Mark?"
"Not really, but I remembered the thing that had happened from a week ago." He admitted as she nodded knowing what he was talking about. "Oh, right. That thing." She brushed it off. "It's all good and thanks. I really appreciated the help. He finally backed off." "You're welcome, Chaewon. I'm glad to have helped you." The two were silent for a bit until Chaewon smiled at him. "Y'know, Yuto," She began although she was starting to become shy as the thought lingered in her head while Yuto waited for her to say whatever she wanted to say, "We still haven't had our lunch date, yet."
His face instantly lit up at the mentioned of it as Yuto tried to hide it. "Oh yeah?" He avoided eye contact with her. "I thought it was supposed to be you and Shinwon?" "Well, I mean you said you were my boyfriend and that you were running late, but I guess I can eat by myself." Chaewon said with a soft tone and shrugged. "I'll see you around then, Yuto. Thanks for helping me out." She flashed him a small smile and before she could turn away Yuto gently reached out and grabbed her hand. "Chaewon, wait a minute." He said as he used his free hand to rub his neck again. "This wasn't how I wanted to ask you out."
Chaewon cast him a puzzled look. "You wanted to ask me out?" "Yeah, I've been wanting to ask you out for a long while now, but I always assumed you were with Kino." "Kino? Really?" She started laughing as Yuto became embarrassed about it. "I didn't know at the time that you guys were just close because of your parents and were going to be step-siblings." "I'm sorry, Yuto, but even if our parents weren't dating, I would have never gone out with Hyunggu. He's not my type." Yuto let out a relieved breath, but then eyed her. "What is your style? Because you dated that guy, so I'm kind of worried."
She rolled her eyes at the mentioned of Mark, but cast Yuto a shy smile as she finally confessed her feelings. "Well, I like you, Yuto, and you don't seem like him, but I wouldn't know since we've never hung out." "Believe me, I'm not like that guy, but I wouldn't mind getting to know you better, Chaewon, for you to find out if I'm nothing like that guy." Yuto grinned as Chaewon nodded. "That's a start." "Good, because I'm starving. Now how about that lunch date being for real then and no Shinwon?" "Yeah, I would like that." Yuto grinned happily. "Great. Let's go somewhere else since that guy ruined the place for me."
The duo were walking now in a different direction from the cafe they were at from earlier. "True, but I still owe the cafe for the Dr. Pepper drink I ordered even though I didn't drink any of it." Chaewon told him with a slight chuckle. "Oh, don't worry about that. I took care of that already." "Oh, but why?" "I felt bad because of the whole situation, but it's okay. You can pay me back later." "How about I pay you back now?" Chaewon reached into her pocket, but Yuto interrupted her. "I wasn't talking about money." Chaewon smirked at him. "Oh, did you want a kiss or something?"
Yuto chuckled as he side-glanced her. "That would be nice, but I was simply thinking of a hug or another date." Chaewon side-glanced him with a playful smile upon her face. "If our lunch date goes well, Yuto, then maybe you'll get all three." His expression turned into one of surprise. "Are you serious?" "I mean, we shall see how this thing between us go since I just finally got my crazy and jealous ex-boyfriend off my back." Chaewon reminded him as Yuto smiled. "True, but I did say I would protect you from your jealous ex-boyfriend." "Yeah, as my boyfriend, but you're not." "I could be." "You could." "Let's work on it then." "Alright, then."
