I understand forwarding a plotline to get to the scene you envisioned #but making a character one dimensional ain’t it man.#always ask why Danny is the exemption to the other thousands of kids who could’ve gone under Bruce’s wing. Bruce is a very paranoid person #and doesn’t bring people into his inner circle easily. offering a complete stranger a room in his home could happen #maybe he then relates to Danny and wants to help him with his need for Justice #and THEN adopts him but man oh man. look at all of the robins adoptions.#that shit wasn’t willy nilly and it had actual weight behind the adoptions

can people be nicer about the solar eclipse because i've had people irl laugh at me when i express disappointment over the bad weather forecast and online i see tons of people being rude about it too? like where is your whimsy and sense of awe at the universe and how dare you insinuate that i'm being frivolous to be sad about potentially missing what is, for my area, a once in a lifetime event?

today i had a meeting with my boss and he was talking about how he visited a cataloguing department (in a library) (we're librarians) and the cataloguers had like an encyclopaedic knowledge of the dewey decimal system and had memorised all the numbers for classification

so then i said (because i never think before i speak) that i should memorise dewey because if i filled my brain with that, there wouldn't be any more room for the mental illnesses (which i thought was hilarious) (so i laughed very hard)

anyway he just stared at me like i was batshit (which to be fair i am) so if anyone knows of any open cataloguer vacancies lmk because i can never go back there 🙃

i think it's been like a week since i last posted queenmaker so the status update is i wrote most of the next chapter and then boss #3, notorious for being disorganised with the schedule, hit me on wednesday night with the thursday through monday slam out of nowhere so i am disorientated and. lying on the couch doing absolutely fuck all.
