Hello, welcome to part two of "BrazilianCat's End of the Year Art Bargain Bin", where I post a bunch of unfinished things from all over the year! This time, it's a bunch of stuff from a Sci-Fi AU I created after watched a video about Star Wars rip-offs, but never finished any of them

These first three where my first thought on this, and were many months before the rest. I believe the basic idea was that Joey and Tristan are bounty hunters in some way, and save Yugi, who's an alien who was taken away from his planet for having some kind of power like the force. Also Joey ends up falling for him, because... I like Wishshipping!

Plus most designs have details inspired by the DM cards or other elements from the show (Tristan is the Cyber Commander, Tea is dressed like she was on Death-T in the manga, Joey's gun is based on one of Bandit Keith's monsters, things like that)

then i did some new doodle some months later, and did a design for Kaiba and Mokuba, who are alien dragons! Also now Joey had a helmet based on one of his cards who I forgot the name of

This is the most polished thing I ended up doing, even if I didn't finish it, of a scene of Kaiba calling the two as a hologram! The machine for the hologram was inspired by that first round Duel Disk, and Joey's color palette was taken from that Spirit of the Underdog card mixed with Han Solo's outfit

And here's some more designs and scenes I was thinking about! I believe Mai and Duke were going to be rival bounty hunters that kidnapped Yugi or something like that? Mai's clearly a harpy here, but I don't remember what Duke was going to be...

DM Characters Playing Minecraft Together

Literally only characters I thought of off the top of my head

Yugi: Has "finished the game" (explored the Nether, defeated the End Dragon, defeated the Wither, defeated the Warden? Somehow?), now he just plays casually and builds houses and stuff.

Atem: Stopped playing when he saw Yugi defeat the Warden.

Anzu: Farmer. Not in the contraption way but in a "has cleared 4~ chunks to grow carrots" way. Tried to mine once but saw too many creepers and left.

Jou: Has not slept since loading in. He has killed 8.2 billion Phantoms. He's very sure he doesn't know where they're coming from. Spends most nights monster hunting. Bane of the others' existence.

Honda: Miner. All the time. If he's not in the mine there's a problem. Sick Of Ryuji's Shit.

Ryuji: Plays in Honda's mines and steals his diamonds. Breaks Honda's torches. Built a mirror of Honda's house on the other side of the Nether Portal to fuck with him. All around shithead.

Ryou: Zombie Villager Recovery Center in his house. Spends most of his time doing potions and stuff to save the villagers that mysteriously keep getting Zombified.

Bakura: Is helping the Zombies get the villagers. That's literally it.

Seto: You should already know. Also modded Duel Monsters in at one point. Only Mokuba would play with him. Gave it up.

Mokuba: Learning red stone. He's getting there.

Marik: Explores, mostly. He tried to make mine carts work. It didn't.

Isis: -Last Seen 482 Days Ago-

Rishid: Tried to help with the mine cart endeavor. Hasn't really played since.

Rebecca: Very pissed off the Kaiba brothers are better at red stone than her. Plays in a single player world hoping to surpass them someday.

Pegasus: Built a very elaborate and complicated castle. Never played with them again.

Noa: Secretly breaking Seto's shit, has made it look like Jou or Ryuji did it

I headcanon hard that it was Joey who dragged Duke into the friend group after he tried to snare the friend group into his family's rivalry with Yugi's family. If a former bully and gang member, Joey, gets a second chance, then Duke could also get a second chance.

I do think Duke and Joey turned out to be very good friends; they have a lot of the same personality and mischievous behavior. I love to think about those two pulling those stupid prank wars on each other, and it would differ who is winning. Duke is known to have a sharp/silver tongue, and Joey is known to be a bit of a class clown. He is stronger than Duke, so he can drag him around. I think they are pretty equal in their games against each other.
