Okay but jokes aside, I'm feeling quite giggly for guessing it cause every single time I'd start reading a fantasy, all the important things are already spoiled and while yes I did spoil this one myself but it was easy and I didn't know beforehand. Plus point in my book.

Such a wonderful book tho, just what you need after reading grimdark, sus books. So much so I was doubting every character.

I love the idea of Irwin "animatedly" doing anything. Somehow I never picture the abrasive, ascetic, brawler colonists as very "animated" characters, but maybe he's just trying to make the lesson engaging for the little guy. I bet Irwin is a great teacher.

Also, yeah, we got a dinosaur. His randomly generated name is Swampy. I have not had the courage to attempt drawing him yet. Dinosaurs are awesome but also very tricky to draw.

Irwin and Andy continued to hang out for a little while, playing with axes as every reasonable adult looking after a three-year-old would do.

But, alas, while teaching the child about mathematics and biology and tree-felling, it appears Irwin's abrasive trait has also been noticed. Kids do learn from example, but I guess nobody told Irwin that.

the fact that we never got Williams reaction to marks broken bed after Allen visited is truly tragic.

imagine will coming back to their dorm room after class and seeing the sock on the door, thinking mark and amber were in there and going off to get dinner, happy that his friend is gettinf a break from heroing to see his girlfriend.

only to come back later to fine the sock still on the door. ok. damn, go mark. that's fine, hell go study or something.

comes back another hour later. sock is still there. ok wtf. a little annoyed at this point but whatever.

comes back A THIRD TIME. sock is still there. taunting him. will finally snaps. ok, fuck awkwardness. he knocks. it's been hours. he wants to go to sleep. some of us actually have class in the morning mark.

. . . why is Mark shuffing around so much in there after saying 'just a minute!'. jeez.

mark opens the door. Amber is not there. ok that's fine, maybe he flew her back to her room or something, wills to tired to think about it. he walks in and . . . what the fuck mark. your bed is broken! in half! what happened?! nonono nevermind he doesn't wanna know. ,,,,, yes he does. are you ok?? is AMBER ok????

. . . mark looks way to sad for a guy who just broke his bed. like a kicked puppy which has become way to common of a look on mark recently in wills opinion, not that anyone ever cares to ask the best friend , so will just sighs and drags mark over to his own bed. not like mark can sleep in his, and it'll be just like when they were little and had sleepovers! mark doesn't protest, just curls up into a little ball like the pillbug will jokes that his costume looks like, and they sleep. and if wills shoulder was wetter than it should be after mark tucks his face to it, will won't tell anyone.

WHAT is your favorite species of SALAMANDER?

im SO basic abt this one but eastern tiger salamander and spotted salamanders are. my faves. simply bc they're native to the area so they're what i grew up with so like. they're THE salamanders to me!! but also same w the red-backed salamander, who is just a Little Guy. littlest guy ever in fact xoxo

there's a LOT of pretty species of salamanders/newts/sirens/etc, but i just. gotta go w the ones i grew up with, you know? my buddies!
