Oh boy.

We got a lot to unpack.

We start with when we last finished off in episode 6.

Eva properly gets to speak with her father Madagaskan while the others are right behind her, listening intently to them.

AND MY GOD THE EXPOSITION WAS SO GOOD.

(Good for us, not for Eva tho lol)

The fact that she and Cleophee come from the most infamous assassin’s guild is WILD. You’re telling me that its members are so good at what they do that the rulers of the world buy their offers as fast as possible cuz they’re scared that the guild could ruin them if they go to the opposite team?? That just SCREAMS how important and secretive they are!! (plus we also saw a glimpse of what one of them, freaking Madagaskan, was able to do with just rocks). But it does explain why Eva has such a good eye for combat. I can also see where Cleophee takes her hair from too. From what Madagaskan has said about Eva personally, she looks identical to her mother. (I already headcanon that Cleophee took her looks from her dad instead 🥰).

But what surprised me even more was Flopin’s decision to follow Madagaskan. Not only did he want to get taught by him, but he willingly SNEAKED OUT OF THE DAMN HOUSE to go to him!

Also, can I just say how nice it is to see what Elely and Flopin’s bedrooms looked like? I love how we got a good shot of each of their rooms, it completely encapsulates their personalities and how opposite they are to each other!

Just look at how Flopin’s room looks very organized, his books are properly in their places on the bookshelves, and the amount of papers he has. Even his bed was made and you can see how he has a map of the World of Twelve plastered on the wall just on top of his desk.

Whereas with Elely, her room is completely messy, pillows and clothes are lying around the floor on the left side of the room, her bed is not made, she has a giant tapestry on her wall, some boxing equipment like her gloves and a punching bag (which she drew Poo on it lol that’s a nice detail).

But Flopin did have a point when he talked to his grandpa. We all knew he was a loser cuz Elely and Pin were doing their own thing. I mean do you remember how exhausting it was to keep seeing Elely having so much spotlight back in season 3? My girl is awesome and all but let her breathe for a second damn.

I’m glad Flopin chose that route for himself even though it was a bit of a surprise to see him want to follow Madagaskan now.

Ngl he lists out very valid points that even we were thinking about. It just shows that Flopin is very much self-aware of his position in the family and how this makes him look. I had a feeling Flopin would have his own arc but I didn’t think he’d separate himself from his family to have one! Good for him tho but still…

This means he won’t see Elely for a long time and Pin wouldn’t get to know him as much as the rest of the Percedal family….

But at least he’ll have his grandpa 😭😭

I just really loved the exposition on Nora’s part where she revealed to Yugo, Adamaï, and Qilby why and how she came to rescue their mother. The colors and the style of it all were so gorgeous and mesmerizing to stare at and it made so much sense. I also noticed how in her explanation, Nora mentioned that it was Efrim who had a special connection to the Eliatrope goddess instead of her like how it was revealed to be the case in the Wakfu volume 4 manga and the Islands of wakfu game. I assumed that Ankama retconned that tiny detail too.

I just love how realistic all the rulers’ answers have been so far. They’re all skeptical of Yugo and his family and I don’t blame them for thinking like that. It doesn’t matter how kind and helpful Yugo can be to them. As Aurora said, everything about this is too coincidental which is how Armand concluded that there could be a traitor in Yugo’s group. Again, I don’t blame him for saying that since he just got told by Yugo that the portals from the Sadida kingdom and Albuera have a portal, leading to the necrome world, that looks a lot like an eliatrope one.

And of course, Yugo doesn’t hesitate to blame Qilby and already jumps to conclusions way too fast, immediately thinking he’s the traitor since he knows he’s the type to hop from planet to planet, not caring what happens to the places he went to just as long as he got to study them.

I love this man so much 💕💕✨

But if Yugo actually took a second to process the information, he would know that there was clearly something wrong with his accusation. Because how and where would Qilby have the energy and especially the time for all that? Yugo is completely aware that Qilby got freed by their mother and Nora not a very long time ago. If I had to assume when he was freed, I’d have to say just a bit earlier when Yugo and the others were still in Oropo’s dimension.

Not only that, but since he got freed not too long ago AND was being carefully monitored by Nora, then there was no chance he could have been the traitor. He just got out of the White Dimension (again) so he’d be drained of energy and didn’t have the eliatrope dofus and the Eliacube.

But a very important thing to note here is that Qilby was also joining Nora and the small eliatropes on the missions his mother would send them in which clearly implies that he’s not done with this world yet (he could have been participating only because he was looking for the eliatrope dofus at the time when Adamaï didn’t find them first but if that was the case, then he wouldn’t have stayed and help to fend off against the necromes since he doesn’t like it when other beings pursue him and his people without, ironically, knowing where they are).

With all these in mind, it's safe to say that Yugo’s anger towards Qilby is based on personal issues.

Their fight in the sky was so well choreographed that I just loved every single second of it and how none of their poses were recycled 💖

DC (Cinematic) Elseworlds

Now that I’ve detailed every single DCEU film, I’m going to get into James Gunn’s vision for the franchise, but since Sunday came upon me way too fast, I’m only doing the Elseworlds part today, James Gunn next week.

What’s Elseworlds?

So, DC Comics has a number of imprints, or rather, had apparently??? That’s news to me??? Yeah, I’m kinda behind the times, I seem to kinda keep jumping forwards and backwards. I read every Batman, Nightwing and Batgirl comic from 2009 to 2018, then I kinda went back to 1980s Batgirl??? When I desperately need to catch up to Rebirth Batman and Flash??? I’m dumb, I can’t do consistency. Anyways, wow, I really need to learn to reign in my tangents. I bet I have more tangents than actual content in my posts. It’s a wonder how I have like 60 notes. Maybe I should highlight tangents or something. Anyways, DC had various imprints that it uses to publish different kinds of comics, like my personal favourite Black Label, with darker themed stories about mainline superheroes outside of continuity, like HOLY HELL DCEASED IS NOT BLACK LABEL??? IT HAD SO MANY GRUESOME AND UNCENSORED DISMEMBERMENT AND MURDERS. Anyways uh Batman: Three Jokers, oh, oh, Batman: White Knight, Batman: Last Knight On Earth That’s a lot of Batman, I kinda don’t read much outside of Batfam and The Flash :P. So, Elseworlds was once an imprint like that, tackling“What if?” scenarios of superheroes. That is what The Batman and Joker’s retroactively called, Elseworlds stories separate from the main DCU.

This is what it looks like. Look me in the eyes and tell me it deserves the name.) as early on as Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and the first Avengers (2012) movie. It also makes an appearance in Captain Marvel which I completely forgot about.

The Mind Stone is a huge part of the plot of both Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).

The Reality Stone appears in Thor: The Dark World (2013).

The Power Stone appears in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 (2014).

The Time Stone appears in Doctor Strange (2016).

The Soul Stone doesn’t appear in earlier movies.

So you see what I mean, even though the solo movies are mostly disconnected, they still serve the plot.

And Marvel has Kevin Feige to thank for this. He helped shape the narrative that he wanted to achieve using every Marvel film released. That is seemingly what DC wants James Gunn to do for them. I’ve already explained why I think James Gunn is so perfect for the role. The DCEU of old was so disjointed and messy, in complete contrast to Marvel, so I’m excited to see what James Gunn does for the franchise.

Elseworlds Films

Joker (2019)

A character study of the infamous Batman villain, the Joker. Aw man, Todd Phillips uses the word “woke” unironically. God help me. Dude made a movie about the failures of society, I did not expect this. Why does this happen so much 😭??? Thank god I didn’t adore him, unlike a certain author and a certain indie game dev I could mention. Is not hating people for no reason that hard? Okay, well, if there’s anything I learnt from history it’s probably that not hating people is hard. Anyways, politically charged tangent aside, the movie is an unreliable origin story through the eyes of Joker. Why is it unreliable? Well, the movie is from Joker’s perspective, and Joker’s alone. And some events make us question whether it actually happened or was a hallucination or Joker’s imagination or whatever. It’s an awesome movie. Joaquin Phoenix’s performance is stellar, and watching his slow descent into madness with everything in his life coming tumbling down. It’s a unique look on the character of Joker, and the unreliability adds to it, because of the multiple choice past and all.

The Batman (2022)

The Batman directed by Matt Reeves is the third live-action reimagining of the character in this century alone. A solo Batman movie for the DCEU has been in the works since 2014, and was set to be directed, written and produced by Ben Affleck himself, with influence from Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth, Knightfall, and Batman: Arkham Asylum, the game. Then in 2017 he announced that he was stepping down as director, but would still star. So, they brought in Matt Reeves to direct the film following Affleck’s departure. The movie was initially planned to be connected to the DCEU, but was later reworked to be earlier in Batman’s career, and then later was written to be in a separate universe altogether. Reeves wanted more of a recluse, like Kurt Cobain, because of “Something in the Way” by Nirvana, which is featured in the proportional material and in the movie itself and got a 1,200% increase in Spotify streams after the movie’s release. I still can’t comprehend how wild that is. Like, 1200%. Anyways, that resulted in emo Bruce Wayne instead of the playboy socialite Bruce Wayne every other movie depicts. The movie is also heavily inspired by the Zodiac Killer and other noir films, leaning into the “World’s Greatest Detective” side of Batman that most Batman films neglect.

Might be a hot take, but The Batman is probably my second favourite superhero film slightly behind The Dark Knight. Probably my favourite movie. As awesome as TDK is, this felt much more Batman-y. I’ve watched it like, at least 10 times.

Plot: Batman, in his second year of crimefighting, doubts whether he is actually making a difference, while he is faced with political killings perpetrated by The Riddler, who leaves clues at every crime scene for Batman. A small tangent, but each of them seems to be in something that looks like a greeting card, and good lord the Batman fangirl in me was bursting with excitement. It feels awesome to get like every single easter egg in the movie. Can’t find the pictures :/ but there were easter eggs galore to Hush, The Court Of Owls, Hugo Strange, comic storylines, etc. Anyways, I adore this movie too much to go into too much detail, so go watch it.

Upcoming Elseworlds Films

Just sequels for the previously mentioned movies. There are basically no details about The Batman’s sequel, but the Joker sequel is going to be called Joker: Folie á Deux literally madness [shared] by two.  It’s obvious what that means, that’s right, Harley Quinn, played by uhhh Lady Gaga??? Idk much about her except she’s an ancient singer, but ig it’ll be interesting to see.

But also (sorry just thought of this lol) I think a lot of neymessi fans are discouraged bc they had (including myself) a different expectation for how the season would go for them. A lot of new neymessi stans emerged after the WC. They see how well Leo plays and Neymar (and ofc Kylian becomes super highly well known too). So you can’t help but think:

Only to come back from the WC, and see how PSG declined from being undefeated at the beginning of the season, to just losing repeatedly or barely scrapping a win (and still playing horribly)

It also doesn’t help that new neymessi stans went through old content. Saw their interactions from barca, Copa america, and psg and saw how linked they were. I was literally SO excited for what I thought would be at least one hug every game with the two of them. But that didn’t happen. Half of the games they didn’t play together due to injuries, and if they didn’t play together, they either lost or if they scored didnt have as huge of a celebration as was expected (either just bc or due to VAR).

And this is not to sound ungrateful at all, because I am so happy I got to see neymessi play together in real time, but it just didn’t play out as I expected it to (and I know other people agree with me). Ofc I went in with naive expectations bc I literally knew nothing ab the sport at all, and didn’t realize how unfortunate things like injuries can be for a player during a season.

In terms of dreaming about being with women, that could mean anything or nothing. Dreams are just your subconscious putting everything in a blender and pouring the smoothie of hell into your sleep brain. “Oh my god. She was a mess.”

A source shared with some news outlets. Tabloids and magazines had your pictures on their front page. The images were all unflattering, honestly. It was taken during your regular routine when you don’t have work. You were seen getting coffee with a messy hairdo with dark sunglasses on. 

“She always wears those to hide her tired eyes. She has been crying all the time since Jin broke up with her due to her extreme jealousy. There was a time she was even sobbing while ordering her usual cup.”

Almost four weeks after that news, all eyes were still on both of you. You flew to Atlanta for the production of your new Apple+ movie. Still, the paparazzi are taking every chance they can to have snaps of you in your worst times. One of them is you walking to your trailer while tearing up. There was even a video of you being hugged by Florence Pugh, one of your co-stars, while you sobbed.

“It was heard that she and Jin tried to fix everything. But it was useless. Their busy schedules didn’t help. Her co-stars were all kind and considerate of her when she ask for a quick break.”

Jin was seen in the same somber mood too. Although the media didn’t get many shots of him like yours, who’s always teary,  they still got many contents to feast on. Especially since Jin is doing promo and interviews for his film with a friend, Hoyeon Jung.

During press junket, everyone always pointed out how quiet Jin is. He didn’t really talk much unless needed. He wore a plain expression on his face, looking more serious than those times he was doing press with you. Yes, he would laugh with Hoyeon but he doesn’t joke much. His fans defended him, saying that the actor is probably tired. 

“Jin is totally heartbroken by the split up. He is a loner type. He would separate himself from his castmates after promos. After the premiere of Stardust in New York, Jin didn’t attend the afterparty and flew home to California instead. He and Hoyeon are just friends. It was Y/N’s jealousy and later, their limited time, that pushed them to break up.

They are also reports where a source shared that Jin was heard talking to someone through a phone call. They suspected it was you as the actor can be heard being “soft” with his choice of words and tone.

Fans and the media waited for any statement from you or Jin. But you two remained quiet on social media, only posting ads for your sponsors. Jin, who is a very private person, always has his manager look out for any possible intimate questions that the newspeople will ask. Donny was even asked about you two during his Instagram Live but he simply dodged it. Your manager, Hailey, was the one who handled your phone since you rarely used it during production.

It was safe to say that both of your and Jin’s separate fanbases were in a drought.

Almost eight weeks after the news circulated the world, Jin was the first one who broke the social media silence between you two. He uploaded a two-minute-long clip. It was an instant viral video as you were also in it. 

“So…I have some news to break to you, Y/N.”

It seems like you two were just out for your usual tennis game. You wore a white v-neck tennis dress with a matching Nike visor. A couple of tennis rackets can be seen in the backseat of the car. You looked absolutely better than the anguish paparazzi photos of you going around for the last two months. 

“Wait.” you took a sip from your water bottle. “Okay, what’s the news, Jinnie?”

“They said, we broke up because of jealousy… “ Jin reads the magazine in his hand.

You gasped dramatically, “We did?!”

Jin bit his lower lip, trying not to laugh at your exaggerated reaction. But you continued, “I bet it’s because of Francheskat.”

He nodded, “Yeah if there’s a fire right now, I’m taking Francheskat with me.” 

“Brave of you to assume that. Of course, my lovely daughter and I already got out of the fire by the time you went in.” you rolled your eyes. Your eyes landed on the magazine he was holding. You took it and read it yourself. “Oh, wait. It’s not because of Francheskat. This one says, Y/N is jealous of Jin spending more time with his co-actor, Hoyeon Jung. Please, Hoyeon likes me more than this old man right here.”

“That’s–” Jin was about to object but he paused. “That’s true– not the old guy part– but Hoyeon does like Y/N more.”

“That’s why I’m asking her to marry me next time I see her,” you added. Then, you turned to Jin with a wide-eyed expression. “Wait, are we even dating?”

Jin mirrored your expression, gaping, “Oh my god. Are we?”

The video ended in that scene. Jin simply captioned it with four exclamation marks. Everyone found it hilarious. Hoyeon even commented:

Vi let’s her daughter paint her nails. To make everything better she’s showing them off every chance she’s gets just to see her daughter smile, proud at her work.

Mel tried to have a simple “Paint Play date” with her daughter but it ended up being a paint fight that had Mel running down the hallway, covered in red and yellow paint, laughing while her daughter chased after her just as messy.

Sevika’s son has “Scary Mom Privilege” Sevika doesn’t know this and is confused why her son keeps saying “I’m gonna tell my mom”.

She’ll kill if she has to she just doesn’t know why he keeps saying it.

Vi’s daughter has that privilege too. Vi knows exactly why she keeps saying it and is proud of it.

Grayson had an extra office built in the enforcer station just for her son so he could feel like his momma.

She gifted him his own badge and everything and had him titled “Piltovers Junior head of the Enforcer Academy” She cried.

Renata can get a little to into her work and would lose her son when she isn’t looking.

Renata was loosing her mind. She lost the baby again. Now she’s running around the office asking if anyones seen a baby that looks like her “Excuse me, Hey you, have you seen a child, this tall, dark hair, mean eyes, very chubby, probably looks like me” They shake their head no and Renata almost cried. She didn’t know that you had found your son playing in a stack of papers while she wasn’t looking and decided to just take him home with you. You wanted to see how she’d react. You weren’t disappointed.

Grayson nearly lost her job after she found out her child was being called names. She was about to kill a kid and maybe a few teachers for letting it happen.

Vi has nearly died in the same week after she saw her daughter playing with “toy bomb” Jinx had gifted her.

Grayson fell asleep one time on the couch and her son decided it was a perfect time to use her face as a canvas.

Grayson trudged her way into the kitchen alerting you of her presence with a loud yawn. “How’d you sleep Gra- “ You hold in a laugh as you stare at her. “Huh?” She questions. Grayson looked like a graffiti bomb had blew up on her. There was a handle bar mustache, “Bestest Sheriff” across her forehead and other little marks. You wanted to take a picture so bad.

Ambessa’s child has a really bad biting habit. She worried that he’d end up biting onto something he wasn’t supposed to so she got him one of those baby chew things until he was 5.

Renata has a family photo of you all on her desk. She stares at it whenever she’s having a hard day :)

For a month, Ambessa quit her warlord duties because she wanted to focus on you both.

During that month, it was filled with laughter from both her and your son and maybe some arguing her and there. It was actually really funny seeing Ambessa so upset at a child’s words.

Sevika make sure every once in a while you all do something as a family. Visiting topside gardens? Yup. Going in the junkyard to play a game of ‘Who ever finds the coolest piece of scrap gets 20$’ Yup, your son has won a few times. Even watching movies in the living room.

Cassandra rarely used to get upset at Caitlyn.

When she found out Caitlyn was allergic to peanuts, she nearly had a heart attack. Her whole life just flashed before her eyes when Caitlyn started gasping for air and turning purple.

Cassandra was addicted to getting Caitlyn to match dressed with her for every Gala that has ever been thrown.

Whats the 10k affirmation challenge 😭😭 im crying oh my god i bet so many people felt so lost and bad while manifesting.

Why assume that it’s 10k affirmations? I can also say 10 and it works 😭

For me personally that 10k thing would over complicate everything because it would kinda mean that my subconscious needs to hear something 10000 times to materialise it. When once is enough too? Just one affirmation already goes to your subconscious 😭😭

And it also ONCE AGAIN LIKE EVERYWHERE ON LOA is not correctly using the law. People will check in their environment of course??? They will affirm maybe 5000 times and then check if it’s in 3D? Huh? Be serious this isn’t how the law works this is sabotaging yourself. Honestly i love affirming because it feels great to remind myself that i have my desire. But in the posts that i read about 10k affs the people didn’t go into detail about how to effectively and correctly affirm? So of course people won’t use affirmations to remind themselves but to expect it to pop up. That is not how it works come ooooonnn. And affirming 10k times,,,, is that fun? The people who are so desperate and want their manifestation now (people who don’t get the law) will try to affirm 10k times in 2 days. That is not fun? I mean it kinda would be if you would affirm correctly and use affirming as a way to relax. But 100% they don’t use it like that.

I have a post on how to affirm correctly and a “can i manifest…” answered asked linked on my pinned that explains stuff in detail. Istg if you’re doing that challenge maybe stop and check if you’re not complicating it right now.

Guys if you’re desperate then you won’t get it. Read my do i use the void or my thoughts to manifest post (ask section on my pinned). This may sound like I’m completely promoting myself or something but guys….. just really read a few of my posts please to understand that it’s super easy? Read some answered asks of mine 😭😭

Manifesting is supposed to be fun i hope the people who are doing this have fun? This is crazy,, also the fact that if i would have to use 10k affs for EVERY manifestation it would take me months to manifest 4 things. I bet the people use this for their “big manifestations” and don’t use it for their “small” ones….. ask your subconscious what big and small means and she’ll say they’re both the same thing for her. She manifests both in the same way? I have a post on that too sooo 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 read it idk i won’t explain everything again and again so look there for explanations and why i think that this is not a good way to manifest.

People will affirm 200 times AND STILL BELIEVE THAT ITS NOT THERE AND DOESNT EXIST BC ITS NOT IN THE 3D AND THEYRE NOT DONE WITH 10k.

When manifesting is about searching for reassurance in 4D and focusing on 4D. It’s about understanding that it’s yours with just one aff that your subconscious absorbed. Since this aff is then in your 4D and whats in 4D gets reflected into 3D. Then you remind yourself of this a few times a day whenever you feel like you forgot it exists. You repeat affirmations to relax and remember that it’s yours. You wouldn’t count that? Why would you count it if it’s yours already. You’re literally just reminding yourself that it’s yours you don’t have to remind yourself 10000 times. You have to remind yourself whenever you feel like reminding yourself, when you have to relax anf get back into the state of knowing and having it.

in all honesty? i do tend to go over certain sentences over and over because of how particular i am 😭 but i’ll try my best to help you! this is what i do:

start out by just dUMPING all the ideas that come up in your head as soon as they come to mind (they are called headcanons after all HAHA)

you can worry about refinement after you’re happy you’ve got all your ideas out!

after you’ve done that, return to your first bullet point/idea and refine it more. turn them into better sentences with a lil more detail, and add more ideas to expand on that point if needed!

do this gradually for each bullet point/idea

once you’ve expanded and added detail to each one, go back to the start and reread everything

are you satisfied with all the points? if not, make tweaks as you go along! have more ideas that came to mind that you want to add? then add them in!

(this process just repeats tbh until you feel satisfied with everything)

but remember that writing should be fun most importantly! if you’re feeling too tired then make sure to take breaks in between, and come back once you’re more rested- never push yourself cause that can ruin your motivation :)

headcanons don’t have to be in great detail either, that’s why i love writing them! they’re just silly little ideas that i like to jot down and expand on
