Olay I got a weird idea i have to ask writeblrs I like: you can choose either daycycle or honeymoon. I would love to hear about either. What would those characters be an alternative universe? Any type you want, but I would love to hear in like completly different setting like what they are actually

LOVE THIS ASK SM. Okay, okay so, I have so many thoughts on Daycycle as a modern au. Honeymoon is like. it's just a fantasy story. I haven't developed a ton about it but Daycycle's characters are developed enough that they are all people in my head and are therefore easier to pull out of their setting. Though NOT THAT MUCH. So much of Daycycle is the characters being influenced by the setting. Like, if Menodora isn't a chosen one, you have to change her past to make her character work.

That being said: I'm pretty sure I'd make Daycycle like a private school AU. Which sounds niche but it makes sense. All the "chosen ones" are just excelling students, you can still explore some of the themes from the og story in this setting, and you can keep the fantasy elements. I would be very curious to see people try to take away the species away from my characters considering how... important it is? LIKE /GEN ID LOVE TO SEE PEOPLE TRY BECAUSE THAT WOULD HURT MY BRAIN Benjamin as a human makes... some sense but not a ton. I'd go into the themes he deconstructs but that would spoil sm about him LOL.

Apollo, Menodora, and Benjamin could all be from different schools. Apollo would be from public school who got pulled out because he was smart. He hates going to private school pls he just wanted to learn and talk to his friends why does he need the newest uniform or smth to be socially accepted pls.

Benjamin goes to a rival school that is known for being... shady. People there are known for being very mean, but he's very chill. Don't mess with him he doesn't mess with you type deal.

Menodora goes to the same school as Apollo and is one of the top students but not really at the top of the social latter. Maybe she's a transfer student but has been there longer than Apollo. I think in this AU she wouldn't be guardianless for a bit like in canon. Kronos, her guardian in her younger years in canon, is still an asshole though, so she's pretty much developed the same issues she has in canon and would still go through her "okay maybe i can't be an asshole to everyone arc."

Bonnie would be a musician. Emilio and her would be childhood friends. Basically siblings. Emilio would not be in war so the push for him to be a medic wouldn't be there as much. I could see him still becoming a doctor or going into the military . Or both, like in canon.

Silver was just happy to be included, Floyd is always in it for the chaos, Ruggie was bribed with a single thaumark, Kalim was far too easily persuaded, and it was Jades idea. He wanted to see how many people he could get to do it.

Okay so we're doing this.

Since some people are interested. I bring you

Oh brother. Where do we start.

Your average timeloop au I believe. Au where everything is scripted and the cast's fates are pre-determined. And doomed to live through their mistakes over and over again. BUT there are a few twists to it.

Centered mainly around Burr and Hamilton, as they're the stars of of our little show. In varying levels of literal. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a "ship" au. I do admit I like hinting at it though fjdkfjrkfk

Here's a quick rundown (oh no) of the main plot

Everyone in this universe is... well, pretty much identical to canon in terms of looks and plotline. That's until our deutragonist and Narrator, Burr, slowly experiences more and more hints of dejavu in each loop that follows, until eventually he's just. Aware. His mind slowly becomes less and less wired to the script and script only. In simpler words, Burr is the most aware/conscious of their situation out of all the cast.

Burr realizes that. Oh shit he's the only guy aware of what they're going through. Not even the main character is aware. Well this took an interesting tur

Wait hold on what do you mean Alexander is not aware.

Well uh, slowly but surely, a little after Burr, Hamilton gains his own consciousness. He is *less* in control compared to Burr, but just enough to be able to conspire with him fjhdjfhdl

They've been trying to send eachother signals throughout "the play" until finally they're both just conscious enough to respond to eachother off script or well. Actually converse and not have to rhyme or have a melody to it every time they do.

I'm bad at words. Their main goal? Undoom themselves from the narrative! The conflict/obstacles? Oh. Oh brother. Everything.

And now. the masterdocument of all the worldbuilding and more to be added.

Laddies we got an Au

Long post below the cut and some disturbing imagery, so be advised.

So it takes place after Pearl sunk Abalone and his fleeting. This time however her sisters actually stuck around to check on her after everything and actually managed to help her open up…some how.

Though her heart wasn’t stained black she will never be the same.

However she was able to build up the strength to talk to Lord Oyster again. She never fully forgave him for giving away her pearl, but he was there after the attacks to take care of the pirates who had somehow managed to avoid dying to take them to justice. This showed the mermaids that some cookies could be trusted. Because of this Pearl became a guardian for The House of Oyster and oh boy did that do wonders for their reputation!

With her making peace with all her pain she didn’t fully become Black Pearl and is kinda grey(-ish purple) I need to work on her design a bit more obviously, but she followed a lot closer to Crimson and takes her job as a protector seriously enough. Some may wonder if she enjoys a good fight more than defending her friends.

Also her sister and Frilled Jellyfish have her tokens to try and brighten her up some.

Through all this Lord Oyster swore he would redeem himself to his moon (she asked him not to call her that anymore lol) So he dedicated a good chunk of resources to trying to locate her pearl! This mission was passed down through the generations until finally…

Oyster Cookie had finally gotten a big lead and was able to send one of the best captains and his crew out to try and recover it.

Unfortunately they ran into a slight problem.

The sea the pearl was said to be found in was rough and could capsize a ship twice their size. Caviar wanted to go alone, but with a crew as stubborn as he they braved it together as one! (Candy Diver died in a different accident and Caviar still managed to find them and bring them aboard because he’s just that good at sniffing out crew mates.)

Alas it wasn’t just a storm.

It was a trap.

A band of pirates forged a letter hoping Oyster herself would show up so they could get a nice tidy ransom, but when a harder than nails crew showed up in their place they were far from pleased.

The Salty Shark crew hold their ground well, but being outnumbered four to one never seems to end in your favour.

Caviar was the last to go down and was thrown overboard to his watery grave like the rest of his crew. After The Silent’s crew was demolished completely the pirates set out to “commandeer” her, but immediately things started to go wrong for them. Things went so wrong that at least two were killed on their scramble to get off the boat while many more met their soggy fates as they threw themselves overboard in preference to whatever was on their with them.

Guess what movie franchise this is based on :D

As the legend says the captain pulled himself up out of the deep that night and sails his waters of the Duskgloom searching for his crew to bring them safely aboard and finally leave that damned place. However the captain’s kindness runs short with strangers who cross his path, especially those who fly the skull and crossbones.

The Silent is still under his full command and all orders are carried out will full efficiency.

Now Oyster wanted the return of her pearl to be a surprise with a big celebration after, but when the captain never returned and those she sent to look for him disappeared she had few other choices than to send her most capable guard.

For those of you who wanted my epic Mickey rambles

this started out about 3-2 years ago as sketches and drawings of characters I thought that deserved to be in wasteland. I have acquired a whole bunch of characters since then, couple of which derive from concepts and have personalized designs. I had also wrote what would essentially be my personal take on an epic Mickey three, seeing as how I thought the franchise was dead and I wanted to expand it on my own. I thought it would be fun to share this little story seeing as how there’s a small resurgence and I was probably going to do it anyway because I really like these characters of mine. But to do that your going to need a lot of context so here we go-

Yensid created wasteland as a place for forgotten creations under the Disney property to stay and live. When the thinner disaster happened that plan was ruined, thusly wasteland itself was left in shambles and could no longer do what it was made for

But what does this mean/do?

Well

And wasteland stayed in that broken state, left to rot, up until the first game, where an outside force (Mickey, it’s Mickey) screws around with it again. Wasteland starts to heal, at this scene and time right here

Nothing happens right away, or at least to the characters’ knowledge, and Epic Mickey 2 happens.

Then 11 years pass. Mickey during this time has become distant, and Oswald has been living with his family to the fullest and rebuilding, even beginning deconstruction on Mickeyjunk mountain. Nothing much has changed, or at least it hasn’t up until a year ago, when blotlings reappeared (I have a reason I swear-). Not only that.

New faces have been popping up, without anywhere to live, and in droves.

The Thinner ocean is slowly becoming decontaminated. And without much of a warning.

Wonderland rises up from the thinner.

Never in my life did I watch something quite as ridiculous, pointless, without any coherent sense of direction or self as The Acolyte. Start to finish it created its own 'threats' and 'issues' to artificially stimulate a plot that never had a single point to be made. What on earth were they thinking? Nothing in this series follows its own internal logic. The character motivations are all over the place and often simply contradict themselves within the same episode. The intrigue and the foreshadowing all come to a null when the reveals literally are not in par with what was implied and just generally--- what on earth? You cannot say I did not come open minded. Watched all the episodes, given it grace and opportunity time and time again to prove itself but--- no, no it's actually just the worst tv show I've ever seen, and that's a serious claim as I watched quite a few bad ones I enjoyed more than I did this one. Don't even get me started on how fundamentally lacking they are in understanding what the Jedi are and who they are as an entity, there was no idea of the self or the values or even codes of the Jedi in this show. Something that could have been such a wonderful and intriguing show, with visuals we all were craving (Jedi Temple) it ended up being below mid-show, shot almost in its whole entirety on a planet that looks 100% like earth with zero intriguing visuals or anything to justify the monstrous budget they had to burn through. Wow, kudos on creating something so empty of meaning I am not even angry after watching it, only baffled that someone actually wrote it and someone actually thought it was good enough to film. Damn.
