CHAN:
Chan had been looking forward to the weekend barbecue for weeks, you had gone all out on planning it together and even made sure all of the kids were entertained so the adults could relax. You wanted it to be perfect for him since it was a rare chance to hang out with his best friends, eat some good food, and catch up on life.
"You okay?" You whisper to Chan as you place a soft kiss on his cheek, his hands busy as he attempts to set up the grill. Your six-year-old son, Rhys, was running around with the other kids, a bundle of energy and curiosity.
"Perfect, everything is perfect." He breathed out, kissing your cheek quickly. Chan flipped the burgers and turned to Changbin, who was recounting a hilarious story from their trainee days.
"Remember when you snuck all that food back to the dorms in your pants?!" Changbin laughed and you started to giggle, watching as Rhys came pouncing over to you.
"Hey, Dad!" Rhy's voice rang out, cutting through the noise. Chan turned to look at his son and couldn't help but smile at him.
"Yeah, buddy?" Chan called back, expecting another excited observation about the bugs he’d found or the cool fort he and the other kids had built, or even about the rocks he now had a growing collection over in his bedroom. Rhy's eyes were wide, and he wore a proud grin.
"I told my friends what you said about Uncle Hyunjin's car!" he announced. You and Chan stared at each other, your eyes widened as you felt your stomach drop, you already knew that Chan was flipping through his mind to figure out what he'd said.
"You said it's a piece of shit and should have been scrapped years ago!" The whole garden went silent as Hyunjin started to laugh a little, ruffling Rhys' hair with his hand and smirking over at Chan.
"I've said worse about the heap of junk, don't worry about it." By now Chan was burning a bright red colour and it wasn't because of the barbecue below him.
"Me and you are going to talk about bad words," You told Rhys sternly, taking him into the house.
MINHO:
Minho and the boys were gathered in the living room, the aroma of pizza and wings mingling with the sound of laughter and the latest action movie playing on the TV. It was their monthly guys' night, a tradition they had maintained since Minho had moved in with you, it was the same night you would spend with your own friends. Cassian - your youngest son of seven years wandered into the room, his curiosity piqued by the laughter and commotion. The boys each greeted him and Chan reached out to ruffle the young ones' hair,
"Hey, buddy, you want a slice of pizza?" Jisung offered, pushing the box close to him but Cassian shook his head, his eyes twinkling as he glanced over at Minho. Minho smirked back at him and nodded his head,
"Actually, guys," Cassian began, glancing at his dad for a moment before turning back to the seven men who were now watching him, expecting to hear a story about his day,
"my dad says none of you has any idea how to pick a good movie." The room fell silent for a split second and then erupted in laughter. Changbin feigned a hurt expression, clutching his chest and grunting loudly as he laid back in the chair.
"Oh, really? Your dad thinks he knows better, huh?" Minho leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms with a smirk as Cassian got onto the seat beside his dad and ate a slice of pizza with a giant grin on his face.
"Hey, don't blame me. The kid has a mind of his own." He smirks, high-fiving Cassian, Felix grinned, pointing at Minh.
"Yeah, right. We all know where he gets that from." The room burst into laughter as they started to debate what movie was better, none of them ever settling on something they could all agree on.
CHANGBIN:
"Who's idea was this?" You groaned feeling the sun practically melting your skin as you lay in the shade. For some reason the boys had thought it would be a good idea to head to the beach, bringing their kids and your own to have a barbeque,
"I believe it was Changbins," Minho smirked as he turned to your husband at the grill. You were about to say something when Lily - your five-year-old - started yelling for you both to look over at her
“Daddy! Daddy! Look what I made!” she exclaimed, pointing down at a small sandcastle, with a flag on it. Your heart beamed as you watched how proud she was
“That’s awesome, sweetheart! You’re really good at this.” Changbin chuckled, Lily practically beamed at the praise and you turned to look back at the others.
"NOOOOO!" The cry practically screamed out of your daughter as you turned around to see the sandcastle now crumpled into the sand,
"Piece of fucking-" She yells and you drop your bottle of water, too stunned to even talk. Changbin's eyes widened, and he shot up, cutting her off mid-sentence.
“Lily! Where did you hear that word?” He panicked, kneeling down in front of his daughter as you nervously looked at the others. But Lily looked confused and a little scared by her dad’s reaction.
“From you, Daddy. You said it when you were talking to Uncle Hyunjin last time.” Changbin started groaning as he shook his head for being so careless when it came to throwing words like that around,
“Oh, uh, did I?” he stammered looking at you as you practically glared at him, silently letting him know he was in trouble later.
“Well, that’s not a nice word, Lily. We shouldn’t say that, okay?” Lily nodded and Changbin let her go,
“Okay, Daddy. I’m sorry.” She whispers, kissing his cheek softly as he smiles, wrapping his arms around her and hugging her,
“It’s alright, sweetheart. Just remember, some words aren’t for little kids, okay?” She nods before running back over to the sand and starting to work on another sandcastle.
"I'm in trouble later, right?" Changbin asked as he leaned down to give you a kiss.
"Very much so," You smirk, kissing him again before sending him back to work.
HYUNJIN:
Hyunjin had been looking forward to this for months, ever since it had been announced that he could bring his son in to work he'd been planning what the two of them were going to do all day. Everyone was pretty excited to see Jamie in the work place, he was Hyunjin's youngest son and full of energy all of the time.
“Hey, Jamie,” Changbin called out, wrapping his arms around Jamie and picking him up.
"Wanna see what we've been working on?" He wriggles his eyebrows as the two of them walked into Changbin's studio and sat down at a huge desk. Jamie had always loved watching the boys work, even told you he wanted to be "just like daddy" when he got older and even did the dances...well, attempted to.
Hyunjin walked into the room as he watched Jamie, a huge headset on his head as he listened to the son, even pushing some buttons despite them doing nothing.
"God I love him, he's so curious.” Changbin bellowed out, looking as Jamie pushed the volume up before pulling the headphones off.
“Thanks, Binnie. He’s been looking forward to this all week.” Hyunjin chuckles, but as the room turns calm, Jamie suddenly questions,
“Dad, why does everyone say ‘work is a pain in the ass’?” Hyunjin grunted as he realised he must have heard what he'd said the night before to you,
"This is easy!" Jamie yells making everyone chuckle, Changbin had officially lost it and was laughing into his hands while Hyunjin groaned and walked closer to him to lecture him on bad words.
JISUNG:
"You're basically being forced against your will," Jeongin laughs as he, Jisung and Seungmin all walk into the mall, exchanging a look with each other but their eyes landed on Jisung's daughter. She was clutching his hand tightly and giggled
"Whatever my princess wants, she shall get." Jisung laughed looking down at Emma who was buzzing with excitement.
“Ready to shop, kiddo?” He asked, smiling down at her as she jumped up and down on the spot, her eyes widened.
“Yeah, Dad!” Emma replied with a yell, the boys groaning as they followed the birthday girl.
They wandered through various stores, chatting and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere as Emma looked through all of the clothes for something she wanted. Jisung was in the middle of a conversation with Seungmin about the latest release they had coming out when they decided to check out a new gadget store. As they walked in, Emma tugged on Jisungs sleeve.
“Daddy, can we look at the toys?”
“Sure, sweetie,” He said, leading her towards the toy section and letting go of her hand. She rushed through the toys looking through all of them when suddenly, Emma’s voice rang out loudly and clearly, cutting through the hum of the store.
“Daddy, this toy is a piece of crap!” The world seemed to stand still as Jisung felt his stomach twist and his throat dry. Bending down to her level he looked at her nervously,
“Emma, where did you hear that word?” He panicked and Emma stared at him, confused as to why he looked so upset,
"Mummy said it last week," Jisung smirked to himself, knowing he was going to get to lecture you later
"Well, we'll have a very long talk with Mum about that later, but don't say it again,"
FELIX:
"This is a dumb idea," You mumbled to Felix as he watched the kids run around together, You were all having a picnic out in the sunshine today with all of the kids. Something you weren't sure was the best idea since the kids weren't getting along all that well. Just last week you'd have to split up a fight between Chan's son and yours,
"Everything is going fine," Felix whispered as he looked at you, he knew how anxious you were about it, but your thoughts were interrupted by your daughter yelling over at you both,
"Daddy, Daddy! Look what I found!" Penelope exclaimed, holding up a shiny rock. You and Felix beamed at her, your hands holding onto the rock as she placed it into your hand,
"That’s great, baby. It’s very pretty." You giggled as Penelope smiled hugely at you, but just as quickly as the smile appeared it disappeared,
"Rhys said that the rocks are shit," The rocks slipped from your hands and onto the blankets at the mention of her brother's name followed by a curse.
"Penelope!" Felix yells softly, bringing her into his arms as he starts to beg her not to say it again. The boys all hide their smirks as you go to find Rhys and give him the same lecture.
SEUNGMIN:
Seungmin and Felix were babysitting tonight, well, Seungmin was looking after his own child and Felix was babysitting, Seungmin was running around like a headless chicken trying to clean as quickly as possible before you came home.
"Hey, Ben," Felix called out,
"Which superhero is your favourite?" He chuckled, Seungmin thanked him for distracting him long enough while Seungmin cleaned the paint from the floor, scrubbing as hard as he could to lift the stains. Ben looked up with a serious expression, holding up his toy.
"This one! Captain Marvel!" Felix grinned, pulling the toy and showing it off proudly.
"Great choice! Captain Marvel is awesome." Seungmin smiled, watching his son interact with his friend, each of the boys was like an uncle to him but Ben was always closer to Felix than anybody else.
Suddenly, Ben's action figure slipped from his hand and fell to the floor. Without missing a beat, Ben blurted out,
"Fuck it!" The room went silent. Seugmins eyes widened in shock and he stopped scrubbing the floor and he felt his face flush. Felix winced, hearing the word fall so carefully from the little boy's lips.
"Where on earth did you hear that?"
"Dad said it yesterday when he dropped his phone," Ben said, clearly not understanding what was wrong with everyone in the room. Seungmin quickly got up and traded place with Felix who began to scrub the floor.
"Okay, buddy, but that's not a nice word to use. We should try to say 'oh no' or 'oops' instead, okay?" He looked at Ben who was now blushing and looked to be on the verge of tears.
"Okay, papa. I'm sorry." He nods his head, hugging him from the side,
"Now none of us will tell mum, right?" He asked both Ben and Felix - who was smirking from the floor.
"Promise." He winks making Ben laugh,
JEONGIN:
You knew this part was going to be a good idea the second your friends had invited you and you'd begged Jeongin to let the kids stay at home with a babysitter but he'd insisted on letting them come.
"Emily!" You yelled out for her to come and eat but she ran straight past you and after her cousin while giggling wildly. The fizzy drinks she'd consumed finally getting to her.
"Innie, go collect your daughter," You whine at him,
"She's your daughter too," He laughs, kissing your cheek before chasing after his daughter.
"Not when she's misbehaving," You grumble as Minho walks up to you, smirking as you glare at him.
"Aren't you glad you bought her?" He teased you lightly, but as you were about to come back with a comeback Emily's voice rang out, loud and clear, cutting through the pleasant chatter.
“Mommy says Uncle Minho's girlfriend drinks too much wine!” At that point you wanted the whole world to stop and eat you so you wouldn't have to deal with it. Minho's eyes darted over to you as Jeongin finally grabbed Emily and covered her mouth,
“Kids say the darndest things, don’t they?” You said, forcing a laugh as Minho chuckled deeply. But you were mortified, you hated that your words had been so easily spread.
"She's right," Minho's girlfriend laughs, nudging your arm softly to let you know it was all good between you both but it didn't stop you feeling shit.

"Oh dude she's gone."
"You shouldn't have smoked her out man."
"She wanted me to!"
You can distantly hear the three of them arguing. Han is, once again, thrown under the bus as Felix and Chris blame him. To be fair, everyone's high out of their mind. Whatever Felix bought back from California hits.
Han is warm as you snuggle against him, his heartbeat irregular as he keeps defending himself. When you told them you get a little excited when you're super high, they thought you'd be bouncing off the walls. Instead, they had to keep you from clawing Han's cock out to bounce on that.
"I'm not even that high," you speak up for yourself. "I just want a little fun, that's all."
Chan scoffs, bloodshot eyes looking at your droopy ones. "You are that high, actually. The sober you that I know would punch Han before he even thought about touching you."
The image of slapping the man you're sitting on makes you laugh hysterically. You're gasping for air, clutching at your chest as you cackle. Your exaggerated laughter makes Felix chuckle, and it doesn't take long until all four of you are on the verge of throwing up from giggling.
"But I like the way he feels," you manage to speak after your chest heaves. "Hannie's so soft and warm, it feels so good." It's not smart of you to talk like that when Han's cock is underneath your ass. You can feel like twitching in response.
You softly grind your ass against it, humming. "You like it too, huh Hannie? Do you want to touch me?"
"Hey. That's enough," Chan's voice is stern, but you don't miss how his eyes drop to your bare thighs. Han freezes under you, scared that moving might make his cock hard.
You roll your eyes and grind against Han again, hearing him hiss. "For fucks' sake Chan, I'm high, not drunk." There's not a care for the aftermath in your head. It feels as though there'll be no repercussions, that time has frozen still for you. For this moment.
Still, Chan shakes his head. "Doesn't matter, you're not in the right mind."
"If you don't wanna fuck me Chan, Hannie will." You turn your attention back to Han, who's struggling under you. He's hard now, but his hands stay placed on the cushions. "You'll play with me, right Han?"
His eyes dart from yours to Chan's, unsure. "I dunno. What if you get mad at me in the morning?" You coo at his uncertainty. Reaching for his hands, you place them on your hips. His fingers dig into your soft flesh, pulling you closer to him.
"I would never be mad at you," you promise. "Just touch me."
That’s enough permission for Han. He parts your thighs while Felix and Chris are front-row viewers. Getting high was just an excuse, you've always wanted him to touch you. For all of them to touch you. It's why you didn't wear any shorts under your skirt. A black thong barely covers your cunt, and Han is quick to play with it.
His fingers slip behind the material, finding your clit easily. He gently rubs you in circles, moaning in your ear. Han slips his hand out and places it over your underwear, rubbing that instead.
It makes you whine, bucking your hips in protest. You're about to complain when you catch the other two boys staring. Felix is on the edge of his seat, staring at where Han touches you. Chan is the opposite, crossing his arms over his chest as he leans back in his seat. He looks irritated but there's dark arousal in his eyes.
You let Han make a show of you, getting you to drip down your ass.
"Fuck," you hear Felix swear. His voice sounds deeper if that was even possible. His lips are wet from how constantly he's licking them, but he makes no move towards you.
Han pinches your clit. The sudden grasp makes you whine, hips lifting in the air before he forces you back on his lap.
"I don't have a condom," he whispers in your ear. You shake your head aggressively, "I don't care. Put it in."
Chan opens his mouth to say something but snaps it shut. His jaw clenches as he watches Han slips his hand between the two of you, releasing his throbbing cock. He doesn't want to hear you complain in the morning about this, it's your fault.
Han pulls your panties to the side and slides his cock against your folds. You arch your back into him, moaning. You look down to watch his dick collect your juices, lewdly making noise. Then he angles his cock down, catching your entrance.
You have to slightly lift your hips when his tip goes in. The stretch is far from painful, and it feels like you're on cloud nine. You slam your hips down on Han impatiently. He whines behind you, body shaking and his arms wrap around your waist.
It's a struggle to keep your legs open for the other men to see, but you hook them over Han's legs for support. Han starts slow, unused to the feel of your cunt. He groans in your neck, biting your skin. "Fuck, that's good pussy."
You only hum in response as you feel Han fuck into you harder. It sends overwhelming shocks of pleasure throughout your body. Your mind grows hazy, vision blurring. You've touched yourself while high, and that alone was a trip. To have someone bury themselves deep inside you, to feel their hot dick slip in and out of you, it feels like you're at a constant high.
Felix is the first to break. He stands to his feet quickly and takes long strides toward you. Han slows his thrusts, unsure if Felix wants a turn with you already. He grips you a little tighter, possessively.
Both of you are shocked to see him fall to his knees in front of your pussy. He pushes the thong further out of the way with his thumb, looking up at you.
"Can I?"
You're nodding before he even finishes, "Fuck yes."
You cum at the feel of Felix's plush lips. Your walls clench and grip Han's cock tightly, making him thrust into you deep. Felix has to keep his hands on your thighs to keep you still. It's obvious you came with the high-pitched moans and convulsing body, but neither of them made a move to stop.
"Shit, I can feel her creaming on my cock. Fuck, Felix lick me too," Han rasps out.
Felix is quick to comply. You feel his tongue dip past your pussy presumably only onto the few inches of Han's cock that isn't in your pussy. Han trembles behind you, hips stuttering into yours. Felix reaches back up to your clit, running his lips over your nub before he lightly sucks.
You don't have much energy to grind on his pretty face, so you lay there pliant as Han fucks into you earnestly and as Felix gently eats you out. You bury your hands into Felix's green hair, desperate to grip onto something.
The hot sensation builds in your stomach again, this time much more intensely. Han can feel the clenching of your walls, the added wetness your pussy drools out. The pressure in your tummy feels different, hotter, and unstable.
"Felix!" You cry out. "I'm gonna cum again! Fuck, I think I'm gonna squirt!"
You think he might back away, but he buries his face deeper, sucks a little harder. "Give it to me baby, I want it all over my face."
The force of your second orgasm makes Han's cock slip out. Felix's face and Han's thighs are victims of your release. You coat them sheer with your orgasm, watching how Felix keeps his mouth open to drink your release.
He gulps down the remaining spurts of your pussy, a smile on his face. "Yeah, Han. That's good pussy alright." Felix stands, looking down at your wrecked state. He bends down and kisses you roughly, making sure you can taste yourself on his lips. Then he moves behind you to kiss Han who already has his tongue out. Both of them moan in the kiss, making your pussy throb even more.
Felix unbuckles his belt and pushes his pants just down enough to reach for his cock. You drool at the sight, moaning softly. He pumps himself a few times, then taps his tip on your swollen clit.
"Think you can handle two at a time baby?"
Before you can even think to answer, Han butts in. "You should be asking me that. I don't think I'll last much longer." The two of them laugh, and then Felix looks back at you. "Can you?"
Biting your bottom lip, you nod. "Yeah, just go slow." Han and Felix nod in unison, "Of course baby."
The two of them angle their cocks into your slightly gaping entrance. Han pushes the tip of his cock in first. Felix follows quickly after, pressing his tip against Han's. You let your head fall back between Han's neck and shoulder, relaxing your body. It's quite easy since you are already elated, but there's still a painful stretch as they slide in.
You hiss when they stretch you out, their cocks halfway in. Han tightens his grip on your waist and pecks your forehead. Felix soothingly runs his hands against your thighs and kisses your exposed neck. "Doing so good, you're almost there."
Their comforting touches encourage you to try harder. They sink further in and you gasp.
"Chan," Han calls his hyung who's been overly silent throughout the whole thing. You almost forgot he was there.
"What?"
"Think our baby needs a bit of help. Come on."
Chan shouldn't help. He told you many times this was a bad idea, but no one listened. Still, watching your teary eyes get to him. The way your face contorts from discomfort. You looked so pretty cumming over Han's cock, he can't imagine what'd it be like to cream over both.
He finds himself standing and walking over to you three, standing beside Felix.
"Mate, you need to Han bottom out first. Here." Chan hands one hand on Felix's waist while the other guides your stomach downwards. Han moves his hips up, slowly filling your walls. You squeal and tremble, but it's bearable.
"There you go," Chris coos. "Make sure you go deep Han. Felix needs as much room as he can get."
Han obeys his friend, making sure to bury himself to the hilt. You feel him push past what you thought was possible. Your legs threaten to snap shut, but Felix's iron grip keeps them open. Han can feel how tight your pussy is, how good it feels to rub against Felix's cock.
Chan taps the green-haired on the waist, "You're good to go."
"Oh," your eyes roll back to your head. Your lips spread deliciously when Felix pushes the remaining inches in. You can feel how your clit slightly rubs against his girth, making extra warmth flow out of you.
Your reactions make Chan chuckle, smiling for the first time in what seems like hours. "Feels good huh? Taught him well." He playfully slaps Felix on the ass.
The two of them feel heavenly in your walls. All three of you are a moaning mess, content with staying still. It's not until Chris clears his throat that Han begins to move. Shallow thrusts into your pussy that make the trio whimper.
Felix moves with longer strokes. They don't match each other's thrusts, but the speed is the same. One goes in while the other goes out, then sometimes it's at the same time, then it's everything in between. Your walls loosen after a few testing strokes, and they're fucking into you roughly in no time.
Chan tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, getting a good view of your face. It's then that you notice his hard-on, how painful it must be in his jeans. Wordlessly, you open your mouth, tongue lolling out. Chan laughs at your directness, "You sure?"
You respond by using your weak fingers to unzip him, "Yesssss."
He laughs again and helps you undress him. His cock is the biggest of the three, in girth and length. You're thankful he isn't in you, there's no way you could've handled it. Chan taps the head of his cock on your lips, smearing his pre-cum.
Then he pushes in gently, not to disrupt the boys using you. He's hot and heavy on your tongue, slightly salty. Truthfully, getting as high as you did always leaves you with a dry mouth. You find it difficult to provide enough spit for Chan's cock.
He doesn't complain though, and never pushes you past your limit. Chan uses his hands to jerk what you can't fit in your mouth. You want to protest and say you can do it yourself, but with how good Felix and Han are fucking you, it seems impossible.
Han's cock twitches inside you, a warning for his orgasm. "I'm gonna cum. Fuck baby I'm gonna cum in you."
You hum around Chris's cock in response, and soon enough you're filled with Han's cum. It's warm in your stomach and you feel it pool onto the sofa. Felix moans at the extra lubrication, finding it hot to see him fuck the cum out of you.
Han's cock stays inside of you. He likes to think Felix and you help ride out his high. He turns his head to watch you suck off Chan, groaning. Han opens his mouth and sticks his tongue out, looking up at Chan expectedly.
The eagerness in Han's eyes has the older man raising an eyebrow, but he indulges nonetheless. Chan slips his cock from your mouth and places it on Han's tongue.
Han is in a better condition to suck. He even does the honor of spitting on Chan's dick. He licks and takes his cock almost to the hilt before gagging. The sight makes Chan moan, and he puts his dick back in your mouth. Your lips are much softer and your mouth is hotter. Han's is wetter though, and much more usable. Chan settles for using both of your throats.
You're thankful for Han helping, it's hard to focus with Felix still pounding away. His fingers are for sure going to leave a bruise, and your pussy may not be the same after this. With your warm pussy and Han's cock, Felix can feel his balls tighten and how his hips lose their momentum.
He doesn't warm you when he cums. There's just his deep, consecutive moans as Felix fills you to the brim. Your legs tremble, and you're cumming before you're aware of it. Chan has to use Han's mouth more often as you moan and whimper through your orgasm.
Felix rides his high out when Chan forces your head to face his cock. He jerks himself quickly, tapping his tip on both your and Han's tongues. Chan cums on both of your faces, hot spurts landing on your cheek and lips.
Your tongue pokes out to get a taste, moaning.
Felix finally pulls out, making you whine. Han follows suit, letting his soft cock leave you empty. Chan lets you give his cock extra kisses while Han unwraps an arm from you to wipe his face.
Chan has to pry you away from his dick, chuckling when you protest. He tucks himself away despite your complaining.
The four of you untangle from each other. Though the couch is small, all of you manage to snuggle against one another with you and Han in the middle. All of you are shining in afterglow and cum, with complete disregard for how you might react in the morning.
Han picks his head up to overlook all of you, a playful scowl on his face. "And you were mad at me for smoking her out."
a/n: man i...I dunno what to say. this is totally self-indulgent. the way I need this to happen. thank you anon 🍃, I truly needed this

Game On, Game Boy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SUMMARY: dating someone from the opposing team is banned? So what? Minho isn’t dating that cute girl with the purple headset, they clearly hate each other! …wait, what? You never said it was her? O-oh… um, well…
REQUESTED! here by my pookie dookie @15092000volcano, who OMG LOVE YOU GOT SOME IDEAS™️ and i’m 100% here for it!
WC: 3.8k
CW: extensive use of curse words, use of petnames, gaming lingo that i won’t explain (sorry), a sneaky mention of changlix and a ridiculously explicit mention of hyunin because idk broski i just felt like it
[♦️★ 🎯 ★♦️]
“Are you sure this is the section you’re supposed to be in, Lee?”
Minho’s eyes turned darker and he chuckled a cold laugh that could’ve frozen the Han river over a hundred times.
No one noticed the slight smile he let out that was quickly hidden again.
“Look who it is,” Minho beamed a newly found energy, as if a dark, bad, and rude soul had just taken control of his mean smile. “If it isn’t other than the wrongly chosen personality hire of… mhh… I don’t remember… sorry, dollface, what’s the name of your team again?”
Behind him, a blond guy stared at him, eyebrows shot up, eyes wide. He turned around and faced one of his other team players.
“Hey, hyung. Does Minho know that girl?” Felix asked in a low voice. “He… doesn’t look too happy.” That was a nice way to put it.
Changbin rolled his eyes at the encounter, throwing his arm over Felix’s shoulders.
“Her username is something like ‘soondondori25”. Minho and her met a while back, in high school. As little as he’s said, one thing’s for sure: they really don’t like each other.”
Despite it not looking too good for the team the fact that its leader wasn’t behaving with their opponents, Seo huffed, not paying any mind to the arguing pair, unlike Felix, whose eyes stayed glued to his other hyung and the new girl, still going at each other.
"I bet you’re still using the overpowered weapon. Can’t really get past Nerf Bastian, can ya?” You stated mockingly, your cheeks red as you kept arguing. “I guess you need all the help you can get."
"Says the one who relies on camping. Can't face me head-on, huh?” Minho grinned with a sense of superiority, stepping forward. “Scared, dollface?”
You bit your lip, your eyes locked on his.
"You won’t need to worry about my team’s name, sweetie. I’ll make sure you never forget it.” Your stare would’ve burnt a forest just by staring at the grass for a bit too long.
“Still can't win without relying on cheap strategies, can you?"
Minho settled his hands on his pockets, halfly staring down at you, as if mocking your height.
“Wouldn’t you like to know.” You chuckled lowly. You said it with a smirk, which Minho was fast to return. “Still stuck on that low-tier character, right? It seems like you need to step up your game, buddy."
“Oh, please!” Minho passed a hand through his hair, his tone hinting mocked amusement. He bent down lightly, his face in front of yours. “You're just a sore loser who can't handle a fair fight. Go back to your corner and cry some more, dollface.”
“Keep telling yourself that. We both know you're just jealous I'm better at this game than you."
“Whatever helps you sleep at night, dollface. I still manage to win against you. Seems like you're just bitter about losing."
The battle of comebacks kept going on, both of you stepping closer to each other with each sentence, as if about to throw hands.
“Ah, fuck! They do this every year!” Someone from your team approached the both of you while cursing. You ignored him at first, but then halfly gasped, facing your teammate.
“Jisung, I swear he started.”
“Yeah, Jisung. I started.” Minho cackled mockingly. “Tell Santa so I don’t have toys this Christmas.”
Han squinted at Minho. “Sure. As if I fucking care.” He then turned to face you, handing you a red shirt. “Yours. We’re red for the first round.” He stated seriously, taking on the role of team leader.
Minho and you stared at each other deeply just as Jisung flew the scene, missing how you two were basking in the glow of shared secrets.
“I’m team red, bunny,” you snickered at him in a smug tone. “You know what that means.”
“Superstition is for the rookies, dollface,” he said, his smile confirming the nickname you gave him was well justified.
No one knew the troubles the both of you had gone through. That’s why you smiled, knowing that when the round ended and you were both done for the day, —when you won, of course—, your boyfriend would still owe you a kiss.
All this mean smack talk was purely for the benefit of the other rival teams. Minho was happy to let you prove yourself to those who couldn’t grasp the idea that a girl in sparkly, cute dresses and what some would call ‘over the top’ makeup belonged in the competition. Minho and you both knew that one of the toughest rounds would certainly be against one another. You know exactly how good of a gamer he is, and likewise, his team had already heard about how your team had broken records during trials —named team Levanter, even if your endearing opponent pretended not to know it—, but there was no real animosity here.
Not an easy thing to hide, considering that to you it was obiously noticeable how Minho’s eyes hadn’t left your lips in what seemed like ten minutes. But yeah. No animosity. Just a knack for competition. And a bet that decides who’s making dinner for the night, but right now…
Right now was about the fight.
Both team Levanter and team Thunderous were sat in places, red vs blue once again as several cameras from the streaming platform that broadcasted the event were turned on, recording each player while the ref briefly introduced them with a loud tone for the crowd.
“Levanter, ready?” He asked with a smile meant for the thousands and thousands of viewers streaming online as the camera focused on him shortly.
“Ready,” Jisung smirked, to which everyone in your team logged in the computers before you as a response.
“Thunderous, ready?”
Minho smiled in your direction, holding back a chuckle when he noticed you had already been staring, then threw a wink at him.
“Ready,” he said.
You two exchanged a glance, openly competitive, any other meanings hidden between you two and the red thread that joined your little fingers, a silent agreement breaking the rules —the same ones you broke barely half an hour ago, when his lips consumed yours, or that you’re probably going to be rehashing the whole gameplay in your shared apartment and no one will know.
(And sure, you might do other things, too.)
The sound blasted in your headset when you settled it in place. You gave one last look to Minho, and he mumbled towards you with a smile.
“See you on the other side, dollface.”
“You’re the worst.” An easy shorthand for love you.
He smiled, and there was a knowledge that made your heart smile too, because winning or losing, in the end, you were coming back to his arms.
Your hands tightened and you cracked your knuckles, settling them back in place, one over the keyboard and the other on the mouse. You were nervous, yeah, but not afraid. This was your comfort zone. This is your comfort zone.
“COUNTDOWN,” the ref shouted, the numbers showing up in the complete view in the big screen behind him. “STARTING IN 3…! 2…! 1…!”
[♦️★ 🎯 ★♦️]
The vehicle shuddered when you closed the door with a thud.
You two stayed in silence for a bit, merely listening to the rain as the droplets hit the car nonchalantly.
“Can I be smug about it?” You smiled cheekily.
“Just ‘cause I ain’t that much of a sore loser, you get two minutes.” He scoffed with fake annoyance, which wasn’t truly worrying because he didn’t put any effort on hiding his smile, too.
You snickered, turning your body to face him, teasing him even before starting.
“But you owe me something first, dollface.”
You rolled your eyes. “It ain’t even that good of a nickname, Min.”
But then his hand, always a little colder than yours, swiftly gripped you by your neck, fingers stroking your nape as you held back a shiver, easily less than an inch away from him now.
“Would you rather I call you buddy?”
You smiled, eyes wondering where to focus, in a trance between his eyes, deep and enticing, or his lips, sweet and so stupidly kissable.
“Hurt much?” You pouted mockingly. You were obviously not expecting him to bite your lower lip.
He laughed, a menace he was, but he was quickly winned over —dare I say once more— when you pulled him towards your lips by tugging at the collar of his shirt.
Minho smiled as you let him take control.
“Your two minutes are over.” He whispered over your lips, leaving a small peck on your forehead before turning to the steering wheel.
You were about to complain, but that was before his hand, a bit warmer now, was strategically placed just a bit further up your knee.
He gave you a playful side eye.
You rolled your eyes again, to which he chuckled.
“Before you start snickering and bitching about what you want for dinner, princess,” Minho started speaking with a smile, his hand not leaving your leg as he started the engine, “seeing as I didn’t go to the grocery store and neither did you, we’re doing take-out.”
“That’s so unfair!” You argued as he manoeuvred to get the car out of the parallel spot. You stayed silent until he did, faking a pout. “You made me buy groceries last time I lost.”
He cackled. “Because I drive, silly.”
You glared at him. He grinned.
“I’ll call your mom.” You threatened. “I’ll make sure she takes the cats with her the days you have free.”
He gave you a stare with wide eyes once he encountered a red light.
“But honey, those are my children too.” His fake tone of worry was too funny to not burst out in laughter, to which he happily joined in.
“Shits and giggles aside, don’t,” he smiled. “Last time you did she told my dad and he still makes jokes about it.”
You acted smugly as you fetched for the aux cord and plugged it to your phone, scrolling down through your music app.
“Of course he does,” you snorted with a toothy grin. “I’m amazing. And even if we’re doing take-out I will beat the shit out of you if you don’t make lasagna before Friday.” You threatened again with a silly smile. “You know I can.”
He snorted too, his hand playfully squeezing your leg for a second.
“I know,” he mumbled absentmindedly, tracing patterns over your knee. “But we’re getting sushi tonight.”
The idea seemed nice enough, so in a silent agreement you settled on a playlist you knew he’d sing along to. Just as Wonder Girls started to play, he giggled, his hand tickling your knee —something as ticklish as confusing, really—.
“Cheeky.” He snickered, unable to not join in to your efforts into making the korean lyrics make sense, singing for a fun time, not a long one, specially when after Tell me finished, the next songs calmed down the upbeat vibe and soothed it sweetly, your boyfriend humming only when he concentrated on the road ahead.
He shoved you one of his hoodies that he had kept in the seats in the back, because he knew you’d show up with clothing that as beatiful as you looked with it, he just clicked his tongue and tutted at you when you tried to enter the restaurant after he parked, and sneakily locked the doors. You squinted your eyes at him.
“Put that on, missy.” He snickered, eyebrows up. “As funny as the idea may seem, cold as a concept isn’t psychological.”
You chuckled at his commentary, and quickly threw it on, a silly smile on your face when you realized that it smelled like him.
“Sure, Mr Charmer.” You shook your head sideways, smirking once he unlocked the car and you could open the door. “For the record, pretty boy, I’m just doing it cause you left money on the pocket.” You cackled and skipped inside the restaurant, with him chuckling just a bit behind you.
The restaurant was fairly empty, saving a couple of tables that were reserved for later and other customers that had barely started to eat.
You hid the twenty bucks bill you found in your phone case, and Minho pretended to forget about it when he saw you grin. You smiled at him gingerly, thinking where would it be a good place to put the it in where he could find it later.
He let you choose from the menu, trusting your taste and letting you pick the items for the both of you, doozing off slowly, distracting himself with the strange tipping device that the restaurant had on the counter top. Upon inspection, it was clearly a lucky cat figure, that when coins were placed on its hand, he’d just… eat them…?
“To go, yeah?” the young man at the counter asked with a tiny smile, wearing a small name tag that read “JEONGIN” in big letters.
You nodded, but noticed ‘Jeongin’ gave your really-interested-in-the-stupid-ass-tip-animal-robot company a look, and you stared at Minho too, scratching your cheek absentmindedly.
“Is he with you?” He asked nonchalantly, merely starting small talk.
You smiled. “Yeah. A girl needs a wallet from time to time.”
He snorted, nodding in agreement. “He’s… something.”
“Thanks. He’s rescue.”
You felt a hand slither into the pockets of your hoodie. Well. Technically his.
“Stop telling people that.” He huffed, laying his forehead on your shoulder.
Jeongin snickered at the two of you. “My boyfriend is a rescue too,” he winked. “This is his uniform, because he used mine by mistake and stained it with soja sauce.”
“Oh. So you’re not Jeongin, I guess?” You chuckled gently.
“I’m Hyunjin.” He corrected with a smile. After a bit, he handed you your order in a plastic bag. “It was nice to meet you two!”
You waved back with a sheepish smile as you two exited.
[♦️★ 🎯 ★♦️]
“WHAT?!” You screamed, the mic on your purple headset able to catch it flawlessly, as in response you started hearing laughs.
You stared at the screen, the music lowering as your character approached your house —or what used to be your house—.
“Y-yeah,” Seungmin’s voice chimed in, who tried to explain once more in between laughs, “Changbin added landscape mods o-or something,” he chuckled. “The storms can start fires.”
“B-HUH?” You frowned, trying to extinguish the fire that remained around. “Fuck that! What the fuck was Notch onto with this bullshit?”
Felix and Changbin still were unable to speak, as they continued to laugh loudly in the call. You went to Discord for a second, and muted them both. “You guys, shut up!”
They were muted, so you couldn’t possibly know if they had listened to you —most likely not—. Going back to Minecraft, you went in your house, and started looking around in your chest room if you had any wood to spare to repair the ceiling.
“Motherf- I gotta go chop wood?” You scoffed. “Brother.” You were starting to get pissed off, so you breathed in, fixing your glasses in position and your mind went back to the stream, and you started talking to the chat while getting the materials.
“Shit, I ran out of torches,” you cursed, going on your inventory to see if you had more. Oops. You didn’t. And you didn’t have much food either. Suddenly, zombie noises started to blast in your headset, several arrows hitting you.
“Fuckfuckfuck,” you used your shield, trying to find your enemies. “Where is this bitch?”
Minho went to the kitchen, that was a door away from your streaming room, able to hear loud noises coming from inside. He raised his eyebrows, wondering what could be happening in the gameplay.
“MOTHERFUCKER?! I DON’T— FUCK THIS SHIT! IT’S DISGUSTING. HEY, IT’S DISGUSTING THAT- THIS FUCKING ASSHOLE. HE’S AN IDIOT. HOPE HE CHOKES ON LENTILS, FUCK!”
You stormed out of the room, encountering Minho barely a couple steps away from the door.
He blinked, puzzled. “I’m making lasagna…?”
You struggled to calm down, just knowing you didn’t want to lash out at him.
“Time-out?” He questioned, wondering if you wanted some time on your own.
You flinched when you finally realized he was in front of you, your shoulders lowering and your body physically relaxing as you sighed and shook your head sideways.
“A storm burned down part of my roof and then a creeper blew me up when I was trying to fix it.” You sighed. “And then Changbin stole all my materials.”
“Did you turn off stream?” He wondered soothingly, his hands cupping your face and lightly scratching the back of your head.
You shook your head again. “I just turned the camera and the mic off, but it’s still on.”
“And you want to keep playing?”
“Yeah.” You smiled, one of your hands traveling to his. “Thanks, Min.”
He entered the streaming room with you, his arms over your shoulders.
“Where is she though?” Changbin questioned. “She’s not answering.”
“Dude.” Felix let out in shock.
“Lix?” Seungmin questioned.
“Guys, look at her stream.”
Minho left a peck on your head and ruffled your hair.
“Text me if you need anything, yeah?”
You smiled. “Thanks, bunny.”
You put your headphones back on, moving the mouse to turn on the screens again.
…maybe the camera hadn’t exactly been turned off.
You stared at the stream, eyes wide open as the chat started going wild.
…oops.

7 minutes in heaven (b.c)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
so, i found a forced proximity prompt list and decided that i want to dabble in a few of them. and, channie is the first one 🤭 i hope you guys like it! let me know what you think 🩷
feedback is greatly appreciated 🥰
“Jihyun, I told you I don't like these kinds of games,” you tell your roommate, trying to get her to stop dragging you.
She stops, and you almost run into her. “Oh come on, Y/N. It's our last year of college. You need to live a little,” she scolds you, narrowing her eyes.
“I can live a little. I don't have to play childish games in a frat house to live,” you remind her, not fond of how she's speaking to you.
“Just one round, and then we can leave,” Jihyun attempts to negotiate, squeezing your hand in hers. “Plus, Chan is playing.”
The tips of your ears start to turn red at the thought of Bang Chan, the president of this frat, Theta Kappa Phi. You've had the biggest crush on him since your sophomore year.
You press your lips together before glancing around. “One round, and I'm gone,” you tell her in a hushed whisper.
Your roommate claps her hands and continues leading you into one of the many bedrooms. Your heart pounds in your chest as you lower yourself onto the floor.
“It's a strange sight to see you, Y/N,” Chan greets you with a soft smile.
A shy chuckle leaves your lips as you nod your head. “It's strange to be here,” you giggle, tucking some hair behind your ear.
Chan chuckles and pats your leg. “Well, Jihyun talks about you a lot, so I'm glad that you could make it.”
Butterflies swarm around your stomach at his touch. Hyunjin runs in with an empty bottle before either of you can say anything else. The other drunk students around you cheer as the taller man sets the bottle in the middle of the circle.
“Who would like to start?” Hyunjin grins, holding his hands out.
“How about our wonderful President,” Felix suggests, smirking lightly.
Chan laughs, and he shakes his head. “I don't want to go first,” he mentions, his eyes dancing between his two buddies.
“Too late, spin old man,” Hyunjin laughs, lowering himself to the floor.
You watch Chan sigh and move to sit on his knees. His veiny hands grasp the clear bottle before he spins it fast. You don't realize you're holding your breath as you keep your eyes on the bottle.
No fucking way… You think to yourself when the bottle stops on you. You can feel your heartbeat pounding as his eyes meet yours.
Cheers and hollers echo off of the walls as you grow more and more embarrassed. Chan releases a sigh, standing to his feet before holding his hand out to you.
“Come on,” he whispers loud enough for you to hear.
You swallow thickly, reaching out to grab his hand. Chan pulls you off of the floor and leads you towards the hallway closet. He opens the door and allows you to go in first.
Clasping your hands together as you peek into the dimly lit closet. “Uhm,” you pause, tilting your head to look up at him. “Is now… is now a bad time to tell you I'm claustrophobic?”
“Shit, really?” He mutters, a frown settling in on his face. Chan starts to mumble incoherently, trying to figure out a solution.
You tuck your lip between your teeth and decide to do it anyway. “If we keep the light on, I'll be okay,” you reassure him, not wanting to miss out on this opportunity.
“Are you sure?” He asks while stroking your arms. “I don't want you to be uncomfortable.”
“With you, I'll be okay,” you end up blurring out.
Chan's frown turns into a smile, and he nods his head. “Okay. I'll go in first,” he says before stepping into the tiny closet.
You follow him, pressing your hand against his chest as he shuts the door. You can feel the palms of your hands beginning to sweat, and you start to fiddle with his shirt.
“You okay?” Chan whispers, bringing his hand up to move the hair out of your face.
“Mhm,” you hum, nodding your head slowly.
He brings one of his arms around your waist, tugging your body closer to his. You lift your head to look at him, hoping he can't feel how fast your heart's beating. His eyes stare into yours as his hand gently rubs your lower back.
The longer the two of you stare at each other, the more you notice the light freckles decorating his cheeks. Your gaze flickers between admiring his freckles and his dark eyes.
“I've never noticed your freckles before,” you whisper to him, lifting a hand to gently touch them. “It's cute.”
Chan giggles, dipping his head down. “You can see them?” He asks, bringing his free hand to his other cheek. “I haven't gotten much sun, so they're pretty light.”
“Mm, yeah,” you agree, dragging the tip of your finger to each one you find. “They're pretty light, but I can see them at this angle.”
“And, you think they're cute?” He asks, leaning his face closer to you.
You nod your head, not trusting your voice as the guy you've had a crush on for two years gets closer. Your eyes flutter shut when his nose brushes yours, your breath hitching.
“I'm going to kiss you, okay?” Chan mutters against your lips, your heart jumping at the light touch.
“Yeah… yeah,” you breathe out, releasing a deep breath.
He fully plants his lips on yours, and your grip on his shirt tightens. You're kissing your crush. He asked to kiss you. He's actually kissing you. The hand on his face glides to the back of his neck, threading your fingers through the ends of his hair.
“Shit, your lips are so soft,” Chan mumbles, pulling away from you.
Giggles leave your lips, finding yourself a blushing mess. He leans in to give you a quick kiss, a groan coming from him after.
“It's that great?” You ask with a laugh, your hand stroking his clothed pec.
“You have no idea,” he whispers before reattaching your lips.
A moan comes from you while sliding your other arm around his neck. You kiss him back with just as much passion, leaning on your toes to deepen it further.
Chan glides his hands down your waist, resting on the back of your thighs. “Jump for me,” he mutters, and you do as he says.
He holds you in his arms, pressing you against the wall behind you. Your ankles lock together, a little scared that he'll end up dropping you.
Pounding on the door snaps you from your little makeout session. Chan's lips find a place on your chest as Hyunjin calls from outside the closet.
“Time's up! Come on!” He laughs, pounding his fist against the wooden object again.
“Chan,” you giggle, tugging his head back by his hair. He groans, squeezing his eyes shut while keeping his plump lips parted. “We have to go.”
“Stay over?” He asks, gently setting you back onto your feet. “We can get breakfast in the morning.”
You bite your lip to stop yourself from giggling even more. This man… When he's like this, he's irresistible. You can't say no.
“I'll stay over on one condition,” you tell him, tapping the tip of his nose. He nods his head, motioning for you to continue. “When we get breakfast tomorrow, it's a date.”
Chan grins ear to ear, nodding his head vigorously. “Absolutely, deal. Seal it with a kiss,” he says before stealing one more kiss.

Two weeks later
You just left the local aquarium, and all of you felt like getting something to eat now. Minho had mentioned their planned visit to the aquarium a few days ago, and Chan and Felix had decided to tag along, inviting you as well.
It had been great fun seeing Minjun so fascinated with everything and answering all his questions. Chan and Felix fell back occasionally, taking some private moments as a couple for themselves as well, which left you a lot of time to talk to Minho.
Now, you’re back outside, standing in front of the aquarium. “You’re hungry, mate?” Chan asks, kneeling in front of Minjun.
“Yes,” he nods, wrapping his arms around Minho’s leg and cuddling into him.
“Then let’s go get some food, yeah?” Chan suggests with a warm smile, and Minjun nods.
Minjun glances around before gently tugging at Minho’s trousers. “Daddy?” he asks, and Minho hums in response. “Up?” he asks, seeming a little intimidated by all the people after the peace and quiet at the aquarium.
“Come here, dumpling,” he chuckles, picking him up. He tickles his side, pulling a sweet giggle from him, and kisses his cheek. “Let’s go eat, yeah?”
“Yes,” he nods, much more content up here now.
Felix looks up from his phone and taps Chan’s shoulder. “Babe? I found something,” he tells him, and Chan’s hand finds his as he leans over to glance at his phone.
“There’s a small restaurant not far from here that offers a lot for kids,” Chan tells them after humming agreeingly. “They even have a small playground in the back in case he gets bored and some coloring sheets.”
“Oh, guys, seriously, we can go wherever you want. He can still have some of mine if they don’t have kids' portions,” he assures them, and you notice his slight discomfort.
“I don’t mind, it looks good,” you agree with Chan.
“Minho hyung, relax; there’s plenty of stuff for all of us there. We don’t mind, honestly,” Felix assures him with his usual bright smile.
“Okay then,” Minho nods with a shy smile.
The theme restaurant is vibrant, decked out in bright colors, and adorned with characters from children’s shows. It was every kid’s dream, but as you sit down and look over the menu, Minho feels a familiar sense of dread begin to settle in. You excuse yourself for the bathroom and leave them for a moment.
“What would you like to eat, Minjun?” Minho asks, pointing to pictures of various kid-friendly options. “They have dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, or maybe you’d like some noodles?”
Minjun scrunches up his face and shakes his head fiercely. “No! I don’t want those!” he protests loudly, causing a few nearby customers to glance over.
Minho’s heart sinks; they are in his son’s favorite type of restaurant, yet the usual struggle is unfolding. “Come on, buddy, you love dinosaurs. These nuggets look fun,” he tries to keep his voice cheerful, but the frustration is hard to mask.
“I don’t want it! I want to go home!” Minjun’s voice starts to rise, edging towards a tantrum.
Minho shoots his friends an apologizing look and shakes his head gently. “Baby, we'll eat here as we said.”
“They have your favorite noodles, Jiho; look,” Felix tries to help, showing him on the menu.
“No!” Minjun swats his hand aside. Felix blinks in surprise but draws his hand back with an apologetic grin toward Minho.
“Minjun, hey,” Minho says more firmly than he intended. “I know you're upset, but we don't hit people. Say sorry to Lix, baby,” he lessens the firmness in his voice again.
“Sorry, uncle Lix,” Minjun says timidly, tears starting to form in his eyes.
“It's okay,” Lix assures him gently.
Minho takes Minjun's little hands into his and gently smiles. “Thank you, buddy. You still don't want to eat?” he asks.
Minjun shakes his head, avoiding his eyes. By the time you arrive, Minjun is on the verge of tears, and Minho is feeling the stares of other people, each look like a weight added to his shoulders.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” you ask gently, taking your seat next to Minho.
“He doesn’t want to eat anything,” Minho explains, rubbing his temples. Chan gently pats his back, trying to calm him a little.
You turn to Minjun, your expression thoughtful. “You know, I was really hoping you could help me with something,” you begin, speaking directly to Minjun. “I’m super hungry, and I can’t decide what to eat. Maybe you could choose something for me? What do you think is good here?”
Minjun, now distracted from his brewing fit, looks curiously at you. “Fries…or dino nuggies...” he mumbles, still upset but intrigued by the involvement in the decision-making.
“Great choice. But I heard this place has a secret dish that’s really, really cool,” you whisper conspiratorially. “It’s a magic pizza that makes everyone super happy when they eat it. Do you think we should try it?”
Minjun nods, a slight smile breaking through his frown. “Okay, we can try,” he agrees shyly.
You wink at Minho, who looks at you in astonishment as you get up. You talk a word in private to your waiter before the rest orders their things. While they wait for the food, you engage Minjun in a conversation about the aquarium you had visited earlier, effectively diverting his attention from the earlier situation.
When the food arrives, the pizza is presented by the waiter, who plays along with the 'magic' theme, sprinkling imaginary dust over it. “Enjoy your magic pizza, brave knight!” he exclaims, leaving Minjun giggling.
“See, it’s magic because it makes you smile,” You say, taking a small slice and offering it to Minjun. “You want to try some magic?”
Minjun hesitates for just a moment, glancing at his father.
“Go on, baby,” Minho encourages him.
Minjun nods before taking a tiny bite. His eyes widen in surprise. “It’s good!” he declares, a genuine smile spreading across his face.
Minho watches the scene, a mixture of relief and gratitude washing over him. He smiles at you, mouthing a silent "thank you." The rest of the meal goes smoothly, with Minjun even trying some salad from Felix's plate and some noodles from Chan's.
As they leave the restaurant, Minho feels lighter than he has in days. “You really have a way with him,” he says to you as you walk toward the park.
“It’s all about making it fun, turning it into a game,” you giggle. “Sometimes, kids just need a little distraction from their worries, even if it's about food.”
Minho nods, watching Minjun run ahead to the playground with Chan and Felix. “I guess I need to be a bit more creative with meals,”  he admits.
“Or just call me when it’s time to eat,” you joke, and you both laugh.
The rest of the afternoon passes in a blur of laughter and play, with Minjun in high spirits, having forgotten all about the lunchtime drama. As Chan and Lix say their goodbyes, Minho feels not just the exhaustion from a day well spent but a profound appreciation for his friends.
“Thanks again, Y/nnie. Today could have gone a lot differently without you,” Minho says as you part ways with them.
“Anytime, Minho,” you reply with a warm smile.
“Let me drive you home? You're on our way after all,” he says, and you take his offer.
Minho gets Minjun settled in the back before driving off. “Y/nnie?” Minjun's little voice comes from the back.
“Yes, buddy?” you ask, turning to face him.
“Stay?” he asks, and you frown at him gently.
“Stay where Minjunnie?” you ask.
“With us?” he asks timidly.
Minho glances at his son through the mirror. He can see the need in his eyes and swallows hard. He knows how much his son sometimes longs for someone else besides him. He asked about his mother before seeing other kids at the playground.
You glance at Minho nervously, not quite knowing how to respond without hurting either of them. “You mean for dinner?” you ask, trying to find a way out.
“No…always,” he says softly, his big round eyes watching you timidly.
Minho stops at a red light and stares out of the window, avoiding your look. His grip around the steering wheel tightens as his thoughts start spiraling, once more feeling like he isn't enough for his son. He knows he isn't.
“Oh, love,” you say quietly and reach back for him. “It's okay, you know, we see each other sooo often, and I'm always at the company.”
“But I miss you,” he says softly, and you honestly don't know what to say about that.
“You want to stay for dinner?” Minho speaks up quietly, and you look back at him. He sees the hesitation written all over your face and swallows softly. “It would be fine,” he assures you quietly.
You nod slowly, considering Minho's quiet offer. "I can stay for dinner, Minjunnie," you tell him, smiling as his face lights up. Minho gives you a grateful look, the tension easing from his shoulders as he turns back to the road.
The rest of the drive is spent in a comfortable silence, broken only by Minjun's occasional chatter from the back seat, talking about his day at the aquarium and the 'magic' pizza he had enjoyed. You listen, amused by his excitement and the way his eyes sparkle when he recounts his adventures.
Arriving at their home, Minho helps Minjun out of the car and into the house, with you following close behind. The familiar warmth of their home greets you and you slip off your shoes at the door, following Minho into the kitchen.
"I can help with dinner," you offer as Minho begins pulling ingredients from the refrigerator.
"Thanks," Minho says, his voice soft. "I think I'm just going to make something simple I know he likes. Is some pasta okay with you?"
"Perfect," you reply, setting the table while Minho starts cooking. Minjun hovers between the two of you, occasionally helping by passing ingredients or stirring the sauce under Minho's watchful eye.
As the pasta cooks, you and Minho chat about work and plans for the upcoming week. The conversation is light, but there’s an undercurrent of something deeper, something unspoken lingering between the lines.
Dinner is ready in no time, and you all sit down to eat. Minjun chatters happily, clearly enjoying having both of his favorite two people together. The meal is delicious, and you compliment Minho on his cooking, which makes him smile with pride.
After dinner, Minho insists on cleaning up, so you take Minjun into the living room to play a game. As you build a tower of blocks, Minjun's earlier request echoes in your mind. You glance towards the kitchen, where Minho is quietly washing dishes, and your heart twitches with a mixture of affection and concern.
"You're really good at building things," you comment, watching Minjun place another block on the tower.
"Daddy says I'm good too," Minjun states proudly, his concentration evident as he places each block.
"Of course he does," you encourage him, your thoughts still on his request to have you stay. It wasn't just about tonight—it was about all the nights and all the days. He wanted you there, a permanent fixture in their lives.
When Minho returns, drying his hands on a towel, he finds you and Minjun laughing as your tower wobbles before toppling over. He can’t help but smile at the sight, feeling a warmth spread through him he hasn't felt in a while, not like this. He watches you, studying your features as he has so many times before, and something in him screams not to think you're beautiful. But you are. Lately, he can't help but notice it again and again.
"Ready for bed, buddy?" Minho asks after checking the time.
Minjun pouts but nods, knowing that bedtime is non-negotiable. You help Minho get him ready for bed, a routine that feels both familiar and strangely intimate. Minho reads Minjun a bedtime story, and you watch, feeling a part of this little family.
After Minjun falls asleep, you and Minho settle on the couch with cups of tea. The house is quiet; the only sound is the occasional distant car passing by.
"Minjun seems to be getting attached to you," Minho begins, breaking the silence. "More than just as Y/nnie from work.” You nod, unsure of what to say, feeling the weight of Minjun's request weighing on you both. "I've been thinking about it," Minho continues. "About what he said in the car. It's not just that he misses you, Y/nnie. I think... I think he's looking for that missing piece. A family."
You meet his eyes, seeing the vulnerability there. "Minho, I-"
"I know it's a lot," he cuts you off, his voice gentle. "And I'm not asking for anything, not really. I just... I want you to know that you're already part of our family. If you ever want that, for real, it's yours. But no pressure. I mean it."
The offer hangs in the air, profound and sincere. You take a deep breath, feeling the significance of his words settles around you. You’ve grown to love Minjun and Minho, too, in a way that is more than just friendly concern.
"Thank you, Minho," you finally say, your voice thick with emotion. "That means more than you know. I love being with you guys. It feels like home."
Minho reaches out, his hand covering yours hesitantly. "That's all I needed to hear," he says with a relieved smile. “You can stay with him as much as you want to. There's no one else I trust him with as much as you.”
“Thank you,” you tell him, your hand still feeling warm as he draws his own back again.
You stay a little longer, talking and planning for the coming weeks until the yawns get the better of both of you.
As you leave, Minho walks you to the cab he called, and the night air is cool and comforting. "Stay safe, Y/nnie," he says, leaning close to hug you. You hug him back, a little surprised. "See you tomorrow."
"See you," you reply, the warmth of his hug lingering as you drive away, the image of Minjun’s sleepy smile and Minho’s thankful eyes etched in your mind.
Tonight, Minho’s words feel true in your heart—you are part of their family. And as the city lights blur past, you realize how much you’re looking forward to what the future might hold. Yes, you're delusional enough to hope there could be something deeper than what you have now.
-
At first, you were still hesitant about staying with them so often, knowing how important it was for them to have some time to themselves. Over the following weeks, dinner with them grew into a part of your daily routine. You and Minjun spend a lot of time together in the kitchen, trying out new dishes, which makes eating a fun experience for the little one. This allows Minho to wrap up things at the company in peace, able to focus on himself for a little without having to worry about his little troublemaker. Minjun looks forward to cooking with you in the evening which makes saying goodbye to his father so much easier.
With all the cooking, you two start making extras for everyone. You know they have a fridge at the company where they store their personal stuff, so you and Minjun start filling it regularly. It delights them all, always finding a fresh meal for whatever time of the day or night if your name is Chan. It feels like you're not only part of Minho's private, small family but also his bigger family at work.
It’s been almost a month since Minho’s offer to be part of this family, and you didn’t regret it one bit. You all found your routine by now, and you had a spare key to their house, allowing you to get home earlier with Minjun. It means a lot to you that Minho trusts you when you tell him you’re taking his son home. Minho and you have grown closer, knowing how much it meant to both of them that Minho was sharing his home with you.
It’s getting harder with every passing day to ignore how much he means to you. How beautiful he is when he’s wrapped up in a blanket, hair messily falling into his face, a wide smile on his face as he’s fooling around with Minjun. How treasured the sound of his genuine laugh after a long day had gotten. How caring he is for both Minjun and now, to some extent you. How strong he is for his kid, making sure to excel both at work and at being a father when all he wants is to hide away sometimes.
Tonight, you and Minjun decided to make dumplings and surprise Minho with them for dinner. The kitchen is soon filled with the aroma of spices, the rhythmic sounds of chopping, and laughter. Minjun, your little bundle of energy, is sitting on a chair next to you, his eyes bright with excitement. You patiently show him how to prepare the filling, and Minjun watches, eager to learn.
“Okay, Minjunnie, you want to try mixing?” you ask, handing him a large spoon.
“Yes,” he nods quickly, taking the spoon with both hands. His attempts are messy but earnest, and you can’t help but laugh as a bit of the filling spills over the side of the bowl.
“Good job, buddy! Now, let’s make the dumplings,” you encourage him, showing him how to place a small amount of filling in the center of a wrapper. You demonstrate pinching the edges together, a technique that has taken you a while to master. Minjun tries to mimic you, his small fingers fumbling at first, but with each attempt, his technique improves. “You’re a natural!” you compliment him and get the sweetest smile in return. Once more, you realize how similar he looks to Minho when he smiles, cheeks grow squishy, eyes squint in joy, and the bunny teeth show.
Later, as the dumplings steam, Minjun's attention shifts to the window. "When is Daddy coming home?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.
"Soon, I think. He might be very tired, though. He had a long dance practice today," you reply, checking the dumplings.
As if on cue, the door opens with a soft creak, and Minho steps in, his face showing signs of exhaustion. Minjun runs to him immediately, almost tripping over his feet, wrapping his little arms around Minho's legs.
"Daddy! You're home!" Minjun exclaims, looking up with a smile that falters as he notices Minho's tired expression.
"Hey, little chef," Minho says, his voice weary as he bends down to scoop Minjun into his arms. "Did you make all these dumplings?"
Minjun nods proudly, and then his face turns serious. "Daddy, are you okay? You look sad."
Minho manages a tired smile. "Just a bit tired from practice, baby. But I'll be okay. Smelling those dumplings definitely makes me feel better."
You watch them, your heart swelling with affection but also concern for Minho. Lately, the dance practices have been intense, often leaving him drained. "Let's eat! I bet your daddy's hungry," you suggest, ushering them to the dining table where the dumplings were now ready, steaming hot and inviting.
The meal is cheerful, with Minjun chatting about his day and the dumplings he helped make. Minho eats with evident pleasure, praising Minjun's efforts, which makes the boy glow with pride. However, you notice Minho grimacing slightly every time he moves his shoulder.
After dinner, while Minjun is occupied with his coloring books, you approach Minho. "You're really pushing yourself hard, aren't you?" you ask softly, concern coloring your tone.
Minho sighs, rubbing his shoulder. "Yeah, the new routine is tough. But it’s what I love to do."
You nod, your hands reaching out instinctively to his shoulder, your fingers pressing gently. "Maybe I can help a little," you offer.
Reluctantly, Minho agrees, and as your skilled hands work over his sore muscles, he feels the tension beginning to ease. The room is quiet besides Minjun's occasional hums as he colors and Minho’s low hisses whenever your fingers meet a tense spot.
"Thank you, Y/nnie," Minho murmurs, genuinely grateful.
"It's nothing," you reply, your hands steady.
As you settle into the evening, Minho watching Minjun draw and you tidying up the kitchen, you feel complete, having spent a day well. The night ends with Minjun falling asleep early, curled up on the couch with his favorite blanket in Minho’s lap. “I’ll better get going,” you say with a glance at the clock. “I’ll be late on set tomorrow; I have an important call about a possible photoshoot for you before…but I’ll make sure someone’s there to keep Minjun occupied until then.”
“Alright,” Minho nods thankfully. “Get home safe, yeah?”
“Always,” you promise and gently squeeze his shoulder as you leave.
-
The next morning dawns bright and early for you. After a quick breakfast and the call, you make your way to the set where Minho is filming the music video for the song with Chan. Today's plan includes picking up Minjun from Minho’s set and treating him to some ice cream—a little surprise to break the monotony of his dad's long shooting days.
Upon arrival, you notice the usual hustle and bustle of the set, but with an added layer of excitement given the complex scenes scheduled for the day. As you navigate through the crowd of crew members and equipment, you spot Minjun sitting near one of the monitors, his eyes wide with fascination as he watches his father perform.
"Y/nnie!" he exclaims, his face lighting up as he sees you approaching. He runs over, nearly tripping over a cable before you scoop him up into a hug.
"Hey, my little star! Watching Daddy work, huh?" you say, smiling as you set him down.
"Yeah, Daddy’s really cool!" Minjun responds, his enthusiasm infectious. You chat briefly about what he's been watching before steering the conversation towards the day’s special plan.
"So, how about we grab some ice cream after this? Just you and me," you suggest, watching his reaction closely.
Minjun’s face splits into a broad grin. "Ice cream! Yes, please! Can we get chocolate?" he asks, bouncing on the balls of his feet.
"Chocolate it is. Let’s go," you reply, your heart warmed by his excitement.
The ice cream shop isn't far, and the walk there is filled with Minjun's chatter about the various things he’s learned from watching his father on set. You listen, amused and impressed by his observations and memory.
Arriving at the shop, Minjun presses his nose against the glass display, his eyes scanning the array of flavors. "Two chocolates, please!" he declares when it’s your turn to order.
With the cones in your hands, you find a spot outside on a bench. Minjun eagerly attacks his ice cream, and the chocolate soon smudges his lips and cheeks. You can't help but laugh, pulling out a few napkins to clean him up.
"Y/nnie, do you like being with me and Daddy?" Minjun asks suddenly, his tone serious, as he looks up at you with those big eyes.
"I love it, Minjun. Being with you and your dad is the best part of my day," you answer honestly, touched by his question.
Minjun nods, seemingly satisfied with your response, and returns his attention to the rapidly melting ice cream. "Good. You're fun," he adds, his words muffled by a mouthful of chocolate.
As you sit there, watching Minjun enjoy his treat, you reflect on the changes in your life since joining their little family. Each day has brought its challenges and joys, but moments like these highlight the beautiful simplicity of your new life.
About half an hour later, you decide to make your way back, not knowing what mess your little surprise caused.
Minho brushes a strand of hair from his face, eyes flickering to Minjun’s prior spot, only to notice he isn’t there anymore. He frowns and quickly scans the room, a shiver running down his spine when he can’t find his son anywhere. “Chan hyung,” he asks, terrified, grabbing his friend's arm.
Chan turns toward him, frowning, confused. “Hey, what’s wrong? Are you okay?” he asks worriedly, seeing the fear in his eyes.
“Where’s Minjun?” he asks, and Chan glances around the room, not finding him either.
“Baby, where’s Jiho?” he asks Felix, who’s already looking. “Min, who was watching him?”
Minho inhales shakily, his hands trembling by now, and his stomach tightens in pain. “I…He was right there the whole time,” he says, pointing at the now-empty chair next to the cameras. “Hyung, he was right there and-.”
“Breathe,” Felix tries gently, wrapping his arm around him. “He’ll be okay, yeah?”
“You don’t know that,” he shakes his head, anxiously watching Chan, who’s talking to their staff and trying to figure out who had seen him last. “Fuck, I shouldn’t have stopped watching him,” he whispers, and Felix squeezes him gently. Chan quietly ushers their team from the set so it’s only them, and pulls out his phone. Minho braces himself on his knees and squeezes his eyes closed as a wave of nausea crashes over him. “I’m gonna throw up,” he whispers, and Felix soothingly rubs his back, reminding him to breathe. He exchanges a worried glance with his boyfriend, anxiously biting the nail of his thumb.
The door opens, and you step inside, accompanied by a brightly smiling Minjun, who’s carrying a small bag of waffles for all of them. You look up, startled, and notice how empty the room is now, as well as Minho’s anxious form. Is he having a panic attack? Minho looks up, and the moment his eyes meet yours, something in his anxious expression changes. The fear makes room for a sudden coldness you’re not used to, which quickly gets replaced by anger. “Where the fuck were you?” he asks dangerously low.
“Minho, what’s wrong?” you respond, confusion evident in your tone as you hold Minjun’s hand a little tighter.
Minho pushes himself to his feet. “You took him. Without telling anyone? That’s what’s wrong!” His voice rises with each word, the strain of the moment overtaking his usual composure.
You glance down at Minjun, whose smile fades as he senses the tension. “I…we just went for some ice cream,” you explain, your voice steady despite the rising anxiety. “Minjun wanted to surprise you with-”
“A surprise? By letting me think my son had gone missing?” Minho snaps back, his words sharp and biting. “You don’t just take him, Y/n! Not without telling me.”
Minjun’s eyes begin to water, and his lower lip trembles as he looks up at his father and then at you. “Daddy, I wanted to.” His voice is a whisper, drowned out by the escalating argument.
“Not now, Minjun,” Minho says, a bit too harshly, his focus still fixed on you. "What were you thinking, Y/n?" he snaps, his voice laced with accusation. "You know you're supposed to let me know before taking Minjun out!"
You swallow hard at the sharpness of his tone, your eyes wide with surprise and hurt. "I'm sorry, Minho," you reply, your voice trembling slightly. Fuck. "I didn't think it would be a big deal. We were only gone for half an hour."
But Minho was beyond reason, his frustration bubbling over. "It is a big deal!" he insists, his expression one of betrayal. “I trusted you. How could you just take him without telling me? What if something had happened? How would you explain that, huh?”
Your heart clenches at his words, the hurt evident. “Minho, I would never put Minjun in danger. You know that.”
“No, I don’t,” Minho says harshly, making you take a step back, your grip on Minjun’s trembling hand loosening. What?
“Let’s all just take a breath, okay? This is getting out of hand,” Felix suggests, looking between you and Minho with concern. “Minjun is safe. He was with Y/nnie, and they weren’t far.”
"Minho, calm down," Chan steps in, seeing the clear shock written all over your face, his voice firm. "He was just trying to help out. You're overreacting."
But Minho now turns his anger towards Chan, his frustration boiling over. "Stay out of this, Chan," he snaps at him, his tone cutting. "This is between me and Y/n. This is about my kid."
“Calm the fuck down right now, Min,” Chan says, his voice rising as well.
“Channie, baby, please,” Felix chimes in, fearing that his involvement would only make it worse.
You let go of Minjun’s hand, looking at Minho timidly. “I thought you trusted me with him. You left him at home with me all the time, Minho. How is that any different?”
“The fucking difference is I knew!” he yells at you at the top of his lungs.
Minjun flinches, the bag dropping to the floor. His face crumples, big tears spill down his face, and a loud cry ripples through him. Felix quickly scoops him up, walks a little away from the whole mess, and soothingly talks to him. It’s the first time Minjun has allowed Felix to comfort him when he’s upset, curling up in his arms.
You nod gently and shakily pull the keys to his house from your pocket. “That doesn’t give you an excuse to be such a fucking asshole,” you say, more calmy than you feel right now. “You just ruined his day; congratulations. Here, I won’t need them anymore,” you say, throwing the keys to his feet. “I’ll send you an email with your schedule for next week and make sure to find a proper replacement.”
“Y/nnie,” Minho breathes out, the reality of your words slowly settling in.
“Don’t Y/nnie me, not after this,” you shake your head and grab your jacket. “I’m sorry, Chan, I really liked working for you guys. You’re amazing,” you tell him before leaving, tears burning in your eyes painfully.
As soon as the door closes, Chan snaps at him. “What the fuck is wrong with you, Minho?!” he yells. “Are you insane? You just lost the one person who’s always been there for you. The one person your son felt comfortable around. You wouldn’t still be here without him; I hope you know that!”
“Fuck off!” Minho snaps back at him, feeling cornered.
“No, you fuck off! Minjun has no one to look after him when you’re busy except Y/nnie. Without Y/nnie, you wouldn’t even be part of the group anymore because you can’t fucking handle it on your own!” he says, and seeing Minho’s face fall, he knows he went too far.
“Chris!” Felix raises his voice at him, looking at him shocked.
“Well, thank you for finally being honest with me,” Minho says dryly, nodding to himself.
“Min, he didn’t mean it like that,” Felix tries gently as Minho makes his way over to them.
“Give me my son, please,” he says quietly. Minjun nearly screams as he eases him out of Felix’s hold. He flinches back, eyes filling with tears at the broken sound.
Felix worriedly glances down at the little boy clinging to him tightly. “Minjunnie, you’re gonna go home, okay?” he asks, growing anxious, at him shaking his head firmly. “Your daddy’s gonna take you home now,” he says, gently lifting him off his chest.
Minjun shakes his head, sobbing heavily, and holds onto his shirt tightly. “No, Daddy’s stupid!”
Minho carefully eases Felix’s shirt from his son’s hands and takes him into his arms. Minjun starts kicking, hitting his chest. Minho presses his lips together tightly, tears threatening to spill from his eyes. “I’m sorry,” he says quietly, holding onto him tightly so he won’t slip from his grip. Minjun wails in his arms, still fighting him as he carries him outside to the car. “I’m so sorry, buddy. Daddy’s an idiot,” he tells him shakily, the seatbelt slipping from his fingers repeatedly. “I’m sorry,” he whispers, finally managing to buckle him up. He closes the door to the car and tries to hold back the sob threatening to leave him.
“You forgot your stuff,” Chan says softly, suddenly next to him.
Minho quickly wipes his cheeks with his sleeve and takes the bag from him. “Thanks,” he mutters, not meeting his eyes.
“Min…I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that,” he says carefully. “You’re doing your best, and we all know it. That wasn’t fair,” he tells him.
Minho throws the bag onto the passenger’s seat and shakes his head, sniffling. “It’s fine. You were right. I suck at this, and I’d do you all a favor if I quit until he’s older.”
“Don’t say that,” Chan says gently, shaking his head. “We couldn’t do this without you.”
“I highly doubt that,” he says, voice breaking.
“Minnie,” he says quietly.
“Fuck, Channie hyung, I messed it all up,” he finally breaks down, hot tears spilling down his cheeks.
Chan pulls him into a tight hug, swallowing at how hard Minho is trembling in his arms. “What happened in there, hm? You’re usually not like this,” he asks carefully, and Minho shakes his head with a sob. Chan chews on his lower lip, realizing this could possibly go deeper than he thought, considering Minho’s insecurities regarding raising his kid right. The question hung in the air, heavier than the silence that followed. “Look, I know you’re doing this whole parenting thing on your own, and you’re doing an amazing job,” Chan continues, soothingly rubbing his back. “But you can’t let your fear make you forget who your allies are. Y/n loves Minjun almost as much as you do. He wouldn’t just take him without any consideration of the risks.”
Minho’s eyes met Chan’s, a mixture of anger and sorrow battling within. “I know. I just... When I didn’t see him, all I could think about was all the things that could go wrong. He’s everything I have, Channie. He's my baby, and no one can just take him without telling me.”
Chan nods, smiling at him sadly. “I know, mate, I know,” he assures him. “Let me drive you two home, okay? You shouldn’t be driving right now,” he says, and Minho nods weakly. “Come on,” he urges him gently. Minho slips into the passenger’s seat, wiping his cheeks with his sleeves messily. Chan notices Felix a few steps away, anxiously chewing on his lower lip. “You’re coming with us, baby? We can take a cab from there,” he tells him, and his boyfriend nods quickly.
“You really think he’ll quit?” Felix asks timidly.
“Min? No, he-” he says, but Felix shakes his head.
“No, Y/nnie,” he says, chewing on his lower lip anxiously. “That would be the worst thing for Minjun.”
“I don’t know, baby,” he shakes his head. “That depends on Min and Y/nnie. We can’t do much; they have to be okay…but Minho feels like shit for it,” he sighs and kisses his cheek. “It’ll be okay, baby.”
“Mhm, maybe,” Felix nods before slipping into the back to Minjun, who’s still crying softly.
“L-Lix,” he whimpers and reaches for him again.
“Hey, buddy,” he says gently, taking his hand. “It’s okay, yeah? We’re taking you home now, okay?”
“O-Okay,” he hiccups.
Minho remains quiet during the ride home, silent tears running down his cheeks as he’s biting his lower lip hard. Minjun cries quietly in the back as Felix tries to soothe him a little.
They reach their house not much later, and Felix carries Minjun inside. He exchanges a long look with Chan before moving Minjun to the room with all his toys.
Minho's face is a canvas of frustration, marked by the occasional wipe to remove the tears running down his cheeks. Chan gently guides him to the sofa and sits down with him.
"Minho, man, we need to talk about what happened," Chan begins, his voice firm yet gentle, trying to cut through the tension.
Minho nods, not meeting Chan's eyes, his gaze fixed on the floor. "I know, I know I messed up. It's just... when I couldn't see Minjun, everything went black. I panicked, Channie hyung."
Chan places a hand on Minho's shoulder, squeezing it reassuringly. "I get that, really, I do. The fear of losing Minjun is real and valid, but the way you handled it with Y/n wasn't fair. You trust Y/nnie, don't you?"
"I do, but at that moment, all that trust just... vanished. I just felt so out of control," Minho confesses, his voice cracking with emotion.
"It’s important to remember that Y/n cares about Minjun almost as much as you do. He wouldn't have taken him without considering his safety. But I think this goes deeper, Minho. This isn't just about today, is it?" Chan observes, trying to dig deeper into Minho's fears.
Minho sighs, a long, weary sound that seems to carry the weight of the world. "It's everything, Chan. The pressure of work, trying to be there for Minjun, getting closer to Y/n, and not knowing where the line is—it's all piling up. And today, I just... broke."
Chan nods, understanding more than Minho realizes. "You're not alone in this. You've got us, you've got Y/n…you need to fix this."
Minho wipes his face. "Maybe you're right. I need to handle this better, for Minjun and for myself."
"And you need to apologize to Y/n properly. He deserves that much, Minho. He's been here for you through thick and thin."
Minho knows Chan is right. The thought of facing you was daunting but necessary. He owes you an apology, one that acknowledges his overreaction and the hurt it caused.
-
Later that day, after taking some time to compose himself and gather his thoughts, Minho found Minjun playing quietly in his room. His little boy looks up, his face still showing signs of the day's stress.
"Hey, buddy... can we talk?" Minho sits beside him on the floor, his tone gentle. Minjun nods, his eyes curious and a bit cautious.
"I want to apologize, Minjun. Daddy got very scared today when I couldn’t find you, and I didn’t handle it well. I shouted, and that wasn’t right. I’m sorry for scaring you," Minho starts, his heart heavy.
Minjun moves closer, leaning into his dad. "Okay, Daddy… Y/nnie bought ice cream."
"I know, and it was a wonderful idea. I’m sorry for ruining it. And I’m sorry for how I spoke to Y/nnie. He didn’t deserve that. I’m going to apologize to him, too," Minho says.
"Do you still like Y/nnie, Daddy?" Minjun’s small voice is filled with worry.
"I do, very much. Y/nnie is important to us, right? I made a big mistake today, and I hope he can forgive me," Minho explains, hoping his son could understand.
Minjun hugs him tightly, "I forgive you, Daddy."
Minho chuckles softly, hugging his son back. "Thank you, baby."
Two weeks later
Life had once more settled into a stressful rhythm for Minho following the upheaval of his outburst and its emotional aftermath. Days morphed into weeks with Minjun by his side; each one layered with the joys and challenges of single parenthood, combined with his demanding schedule. Despite his deep love for his son, the strain of juggling his roles was evident.
Minho is preparing Minjun's backpack for the day, his movements automatic. The routine is well-practiced but no less draining. Minjun is playing on the carpet, glancing at his father suspiciously as he's preparing breakfast.
“Daddy, you okay?” Minjun’s small voice cuts through the morning stillness, his eyes wide with concern.
Minho pauses, taken aback by the question. “Of course, buddy,” he replies, forcing a smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes. “Why do you ask?”
“You're tired,” Minjun says simply.
Minho sighs, the weight of his exhaustion settling deeper on his shoulders. He is tired—more than tired. Each day felt like a battle, each night a too-short break from it all.
Later that day, after getting Minjun settled, the effects of chronic stress, sleep deprivation, and emotional turmoil begin to manifest more aggressively. As he moves through the complex choreography, his steps start to falter, his usually sharp movements grow sluggish, and his focus wanes.
“Minho, take five!” Chan calls out. “You’re off today, man. Everything alright?”
Minho nods mutely, too spent to formulate a response. He retreats to a quiet corner, his breath uneven, his heart racing uncomfortably in his chest. He presses the heels of his hands into his eyes, trying to stave off the dizziness that threatened to overwhelm him.
Just as he felt like he'd be fine, a sharp pain clutched at his chest, his breathing growing labored, and the room seemed to tilt on its axis. Panic claws at his mind as he staggers, trying to call out for help, but his voice is a mere whisper.
“Minho!” He hears someone shout and feels hands steadying him just before everything goes dark.
When Minho regains consciousness, he finds himself on a couch in the studio’s lounge, surrounded by concerned faces—Chan, Jeongin, and Felix, holding a distressed Minjun. An ambulance siren wails in the distance, growing louder as it approaches.
“What… what happened?” Minho manages to ask, his voice weak.
“You collapsed, man. Scared the hell out of us,” Chan replies, his expression tight with worry.
The paramedics arrive swiftly, assessing Minho quickly. Blood pressure high, heart rate erratic, they murmur words like "exhaustion" and "stress" as they prepare him for transport to the hospital.
The hospital tests confirm what Minho had tried to ignore: he was suffering from severe exhaustion combined with stress. The doctor’s advice was obvious. "You need to rest, Mr. Lee. Your body is telling you it can’t keep up this pace. If you ignore this warning, the next incident could be more severe."
Minho lies back on the hospital bed, the sterile white of the room a stark contrast to the vibrancy of his daily life. The words hit hard, a sobering reminder of his mortality and the stark reality of his responsibilities as a father.
Chan, who had accompanied him, squeezes his shoulder. “You gotta take care of yourself, Minho. For Minjun’s sake, if not your own.”
“I know,” Minho murmurs, the gravity of his situation settling in. “I just… thought I could handle it all.”
Chan’s look is sympathetic but firm. “No one can handle everything alone, Min. You need to let others help. Maybe it’s time to reach out to Y/nnie again. For support.”
The suggestion lingers in the air between them, heavy with implications. Minho’s thoughts drift to you, your warmth, your laughter, and the comfort you brought to both him and Minjun. The thought of reaching out, of potentially being rejected, is terrifying, yet the fear of what might happen if he continued on his current path is greater.
Anxiously, Minho makes the decision to call you from the hospital, his heart pounding as he dials the familiar number. The phone rings, each tone echoing like a drumbeat in his tense silence.
“Hello?” you ask, cautious yet warm.
“Y/nnie, it’s Minho. I… I need to talk to you. It’s important.” His voice is unsteady, and his admission of need is a significant release of his tightly held pride. “I…I need help.”
There’s a pause, a breath held, and then released. “I'm listening.”
Minho's voice wavers as he speaks, the hospital's fluorescent lights casting stark shadows across his face. "I... I had an incident today at rehearsals. I collapsed," he confesses, the words tasting like defeat but necessary in their truth.
You suck in a sharp breath at his words. "Minho, are you okay? Where are you now?" you ask, your voice thick with worry.
"I'm at the hospital. They're telling me it’s stress and exhaustion. Nothing life-threatening, but...can you look after Minjun for a few days?” he asks, chewing on his lower lip as you're silent for a while.
“So you're suddenly trusting me again?” you ask dryly.
Minho takes a moment to answer. “Minjun does…that tells me everything I should need to know,” he says quietly. “I've been an asshole, okay? I know I was. Once I'm better…can we talk? Really talk?” he asks timidly.
You sigh softly, rubbing your face. “Where is he?”
“He's with Lix,” he tells you, heart racing in his chest as you didn't answer his question.
"Get some rest, Minho. We'll sort everything else out later," you reply, your voice a soothing balm to Minho’s frayed nerves. Shit, he missed you.
“Thank you,” he says, tears burning in his eyes.
“Just…take care, okay? Your little boy needs you,” you say quietly.
“I will.”

You being besties with Skz & at an after party you all are getting drunk. Felix & the rest of the members can’t keep their eyes off you. After a while you end up in Felix lap still talking casually with everyone. But Felix & Seungmin whose sitting right next to you two can’t keep their hands off you. Nobody says anything & just enjoy the show?
Yea yu got my head a mess from the Minsung sandwich. I need some Seunglix too🥰
🎀
Oooh imagine...
MDNI // ADULT CONTENT BELOW
You're just hanging out with your buddies skz, and Felix pulls you onto his lap. "Y/n, you haven't talked to me yet." he teases, wrapping his arm around you. You melt into his chest because you feel so comfortable with him. Maybe you could persuade him to give you a little massage?
You notice Suengmin's eyes land on your bare knee, your tartan pleated skirt is very short, and Seungmin is very horny.
Your breath hitches when Felix nibbles your neck. "y/n, you're looking scrumptious tonight, love." he whispers against your skin. It tickles, and causes you to flap your legs around a little, and when they land on Seungmin, well, it's game over for you.
You attempt to move your legs off of him, but Seungmin grabs your calf, forcing you to stay in place. He licks his lips as his eyes rake over your leg, all the way up your skirt to find you're pantiless.
He turns to Felix and whispers in his ear, and you pretend you're listening to the conversation around you. But you're feeling hot. And wet.
Felix's hand slips up your inner thigh to check (clarify? Confirm?) that you are indeed sans panties.
You whimper and tense up. But Seungmin’s hand is exploring up towards your cunt too, squeezing your inner thigh hard along the way. Felix continues to pepper kisses along the skin on your neck, whispering words like "shhh...relax, let us play with you." and "so wet and needy."
Felix holds your thigh open while Seungmin plunges two fingers inside you. "What a slutty little girl. Look around you." he says low.
You look around the room to find it quiet. All eyes on you and what it is unfolding. You feel embarrassed watching everyone watch you being finger fucked, that you don't even notice when Seungmin dives under your skirt and starts lapping at your clit.
"Oh fuck!" you cry out and tilt your head back. Felix takes this chance to undo your blouse and pull your breasts out of your bra cups. He sucks on a nipple while Seungmin eats you like a delicious dessert.
Your moans grow louder as you’re forced closer and closer to climaxing.
“Come for us, sweetheart.” Felix whispers and you come undone, making a mess all over Seungmin’s face and fingers. He helps you ride out your high before he comes up grinning like a goofball, his face covered in your arousal.
You look around the room to find six pairs of lust-filled eyes on you.
Just a quick Drabble.

You step into the bustling precinct, your senses immediately absorbing the energy around you. Phones ring, radios squawk, officers shout to each other across the room, and every so often, there’s a burst of laughter from one of the clusters of desks. It’s your day off from the ER, a break from the endless flow of patients, the constant blare of monitors, and the adrenaline-fueled rush that never seems to end. You still want a taste of that energy, though, so here you are, coffee in hand for your husband Jisung and a few of his colleagues.
You navigate your way through the bullpen, a light blue summer dress brushing against your knees, and your white wedges clicking softly against the tile. Your white sunglasses sit perched on your head, holding back your hair, and the scent of freshly brewed coffee follows you as you carry a tray with four cups, each labelled with a different name: yours, Jisung’s, Felix’s, and Minho’s.
As your eyes sweep the room, they land on Felix, slumped back in his chair with a familiar air of exhaustion, his head tipped back, and his arms dangling off the sides as if the world’s weight has finally crushed him. You grin, making a beeline for him. Dropping into the chair opposite his desk, you slide his coffee across to him with a smirk.
“Look what the coffee fairy brought,” you announce, leaning back with an amused glint in your eye.
Felix blinks down at the cup before his face lights up with pure, unfiltered joy. “You absolute angel! I swear, I love you right now. Like, I’m dangerously close to kissing you.”
You laugh, the sound bubbling up before you can stop it. “Jisung would shoot you. No warning, just bang. Right between the eyes.”
Felix chuckles, shaking his head as he picks up his coffee, inhaling the aroma before taking a grateful sip. “Fucking worth it. Honestly, I’d risk it.”
As he drinks, his eyes drift over you, assessing your outfit with a dramatic once-over. He tilts his head, lips curling into a mischievous grin. “Okay, but why do you look like you’re about to star in some cheesy rom-com? Seriously, who are you trying to impress here, and why isn’t it me?”
You roll your eyes, glancing down at yourself as if seeing your outfit for the first time. “Can’t a woman look nice on her day off? I’m visiting my husband, Felix. I get to look like something other than a sleep-deprived ER nurse covered in mystery fluids. Plus, it’s hot outside.”
He smirks, the glint in his eyes growing sharper. “Suspiciously nice, if you ask me.”
Before you can fire back, Minho appears at Felix’s side, his eyes zeroing in on the cup with his name scrawled across it. With a smirk, he grabs it, taking a slow, satisfied sip. “Hmm, just the way I like it. Thanks. You know, you really should leave Jisung and marry me instead. Think about it: we’d be a power couple.”
You deadpan, barely blinking as you retort, “Absolutely not. I’d have to explain your ‘disappearance’ to a jury, and I’m not confident I could sell a self-defence story.” You pause, then add, “Also, your actual wife might take issue with you running off with your buddy’s wife.”
Felix bursts out laughing, nearly choking on his coffee. “Oh my god, I’d pay good money to see her kick your ass, Minho.”
Minho raises an eyebrow, unimpressed. “I’m just saying, you talk a big game. But between you and me, I’m pretty sure I could handle you.”
You lean forward, a challenging grin playing on your lips. “Jisung handles me just fine, he doesn't need your help.”
Just as Minho opens his mouth to respond, Jisung walks up, and you see the flicker of amusement in his eyes. “Excuse me, what did I just walk into?”
“Nothing. Just Minho being his usual self,” you reply sweetly, holding out his coffee. “I brought you this.”
Jisung’s face softens, his eyes warming as he takes the cup from you and leans down to press a kiss against your cheek. “What would I do without you?”
“Crash and burn, probably,” you say, grinning up at him.
“Can confirm,” Felix chimes in, lazily leaning back in his chair and clearly enjoying the banter. “You’d be fucked without her, man.”
Jisung rolls his eyes, looking between you and his friends. “Glad to know my friends have so much faith in me.”
He glances back at you, taking in the dress, and a small smile tugs at the corners of his mouth. “You do look amazing, by the way. Makes me want to ditch the precinct and-”
“Absolutely not. None of that in here,” Minho interrupts, raising a hand as if to physically block whatever Jisung was about to suggest. “I get enough of your lovey-dovey nonsense on a regular basis. This is a professional environment, thank you very much.”
You snort, rolling your eyes. “Right, because you’re the embodiment of professionalism, Minho. Never crossed a line in your life, right?”
“I am a paragon of professionalism,” he says, deadpan, puffing up like a proud peacock.
Felix snickers, shaking his head as he takes another sip. “Oh yeah? ‘Paragon of professionalism’? If that’s what we’re calling it now, sure. But remember that time your wife came to visit and Chan caught the two of you going at it in the men’s locker room?”
Minho’s face flushes slightly, but he tries to play it off, lifting his coffee and taking a long sip, refusing to break his stoic facade. “It was a passionate reunion.”
“Oh, we all know,” Felix says, grinning. “We all heard her moaning. Pretty sure they heard it over in the evidence room too.”
You snicker, raising an eyebrow at Minho. “Paragon of professionalism, huh?”
Minho’s face turns even redder, and he mutters into his coffee, “One incident. Just one.”
Jisung chuckles, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. “See, that’s why I stick to public displays of affection in small doses. Less memorable.”
“Yeah, like that time you two were making out in the break room,” Felix says, smirking.
You feign innocence, looking up at Jisung. “I have no idea what he’s talking about. Clearly, he’s delusional.”
Jisung nods, playing along. “Absolutely. Must be all those late shifts, messing with his mind.”
Felix rolls his eyes, leaning forward with a mischievous grin. “Alright, alright. But just remember: if there’s any scandal around here, it’s usually because of you married lot. Meanwhile, I’m the model of restraint.”
Minho opens his mouth, likely to lob a sarcastic comment Felix's way, but the door to Captain Bang Chan’s office swings open with a sharp, foreboding creak. Chan strides out with a look of grim determination on his face that instantly makes your stomach drop. You know that look. Everyone does. It’s the kind of look that’s never followed by good news.
“All right, listen up!” Chan’s voice cuts through the chaotic murmur of the bullpen, slicing the noise in half as everyone freezes and turns toward him. “We’ve just received a credible threat of an anthrax attack on the station. Until further notice, we’re in lockdown. No one gets in or out.”
A stunned silence follows his words, the gravity of it crashing over the room like a wave. Anthrax. Of all things. It feels like the air itself thickens, every eye in the room locked on Chan, processing the information. You’re the first to break the silence.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” you groan, throwing your hands up with dramatic exasperation. “I swear, I am never doing anything nice for any of you ever again. Here I am, on my day off, bringing real Italian coffee straight from my hometown, like the good wife and friend that I am, and now I’m fucking trapped here because some maniac decides today’s a great day to mess with a biochemistry set?!”
Felix snorts into his coffee, trying to hide his laughter, while Minho’s mouth twitches in barely contained amusement. Jisung’s shoulders shake as he attempts to keep a straight face. He reaches out, taking your hand gently and rubbing calming circles over your knuckles. “Jagiya-”
“No! Don’t jagiya’ me right now,” you huff, narrowing your eyes at him. “This is exactly what I get for trying to do something nice.”
Jisung, his lips still curved in a soft smile, gives your hand a gentle squeeze. “Come on, let’s go sit at my desk. You can yell at me there, and maybe the world will make sense again.”
With a dramatic sigh, you allow him to lead you across the bullpen. You drag your feet with exaggerated reluctance, muttering a steady stream of colourful Italian curses under your breath. Jisung, still holding back laughter, takes the two remaining coffees from you as you settle yourself in his chair, folding your arms and glaring at the room like an affronted cat.
“That’s my seat, you know,” Jisung says, raising an eyebrow at you, clearly amused.
You fix him with a glare, your voice dripping with mock indignation. “It was your seat until your wife, out of the kindness of her heart, decided to do something nice for you and wound up smack in the middle of an anthrax threat. So, I think I deserve the chair, don’t you?”
Jisung chuckles, sitting down in the spare chair beside you and sliding your coffee over. “Fair enough,” he concedes, grinning. “And, for the record, thank you for the coffee. Even if we’re potentially in a biohazard zone.”
Your annoyance softens, just a bit, as you take a sip. “You’re welcome. I should start charging extra for hazard pay, though.”
You reach over to one of Jisung’s desk drawers, half-listening to the murmurs around you as people process the lockdown news. Your fingers brush a small packet at the edge of the drawer, and suddenly—
PFFFFT!
A white cloud bursts from the drawer, coating you and Jisung in a fine layer of white powder. You freeze, eyes wide, and for a second, the bullpen goes completely silent. The two of you stare at each other in shock, blinking through the powder.
Jisung sputters, wiping at his eyes with a grimace, before deadpanning, “I’ve never hoped something was cocaine more in my life.”
“Oh, my god,” Minho groans from across the room, his hand rubbing over his face in disbelief. “During an anthrax lockdown, you open a drawer, and a packet of white powder explodes. Seriously?”
You sit there, a mix of horror and resignation, before letting out a long, exasperated sigh. “Well, if it’s anthrax,” you mutter, throwing your hands up, “at least we’ll die together. So fucking romantic, right?”
Jisung lets out a resigned sigh, rolling up his sleeves. He gives you a sly smile. “You considering divorce yet?”
You snort, still trying to dust the powder off yourself. “Not a chance. I need that sweet, sweet overtime money.”
He laughs, his warm, familiar laugh that lightens the absurdity just a bit. As he leans back, wiping powder off his arms, you both notice Felix leaning, wide-eyed, clearly in awe of the sheer absurdity.
“Y/N,” he says, barely holding back laughter, “please, for the love of all things caffeinated, do not stop bringing us coffee. Even if you’re dead. Like, send it from the afterlife or something.”
You roll your eyes, a grin tugging at your lips. “Trust me, if this is anthrax, we’re all toast anyway, so get praying, Lix.”
Felix gives a melodramatic sigh, glancing at the powder-dusted desk with exaggerated despair. “Well, if you die, and I survive, I’ll make the most epic playlist for your funeral. It’ll be a symphony of tragic bangers.”
You chuckle, brushing some powder off your hand. “Appreciate the thought. I’ll haunt you if it isn’t perfect.”
Jisung leans back, watching you spin slowly in his desk chair, one hand still gripping your coffee. He raises an eyebrow, eyes twinkling with barely contained laughter. “You know,” you say. “I always thought a brush with death would be a little more dramatic.”
Jisung chuckles, sipping his coffee. “If it is anthrax, we’re in for a hell of a time, though, right?”
“Oh, for sure,” you nod, launching into a cheerful explanation. “It’ll be nausea, chest pain, coughing up blood, then more pain, and then bam! Dead. Pretty straightforward.”
Minho, still dusting powder off himself, makes a face. “Jesus, Y/N, couldn’t you sugarcoat it?”
You lean forward with a wicked grin. “No, but I could anthrax-coat it.”
Jisung laughs so hard he nearly spills his coffee, shaking his head. “You’re awful,” he says, eyes crinkling with amusement.
Minho stares at the two of you, visibly disturbed. “You two are fucking insane. I’m not dying with you clowns.”
As if on cue, Minho reaches to open his desk drawer and PFFFFT! Another puff of white powder explodes into his face. He jerks back, sputtering and swatting at the cloud around him.
“Oh, for fuck’s sake!” he shouts, coughing as he frantically waves his hands to clear the powder. His eyes dart around the room in horror as he sees the fine dust settling on his shirt.
And then, as if on cue, there’s another PFFFFT! from Jeongin’s desk, sending a similar cloud of white powder into the air.
One by one, desks throughout the bullpen erupt in clouds of powder, each explosion met with gasps, curses, and shouts of “What the hell?!”
Now, at least seven officers stand in powder-covered horror, looking around at each other like deer caught in headlights.
You lean back in Jisung’s chair, arms folded, and let out a theatrical sigh. “It’s like a damn anthrax snowglobe in here.”
Chan stands in the middle of the chaos, looking around with a deadpan expression and slowly rubbing his temples. “This- this is just fucking fantastic,” he mutters. “Seven packets of possible anthrax. All opened. In my station. At once.”
He turns to you, eyes narrowing with a desperate look. “Y/N, you’re a nurse. If this is anthrax-”
“Oh, we’ll all die, no question,” you say far too casually, waving a dismissive hand. “Very unpleasantly, but yeah. It’ll be over soon. Painful but quick”
Jisung gives you a nudge, his smile widening. “You sure you’re not sugarcoating it just a little?”
You tilt your head, pretending to think about it. “Nope. Just straight facts.”
Minho, wiping powder from his face with a look of pure frustration, groans. “You’ve got to be kidding me. All these years on the force, and this is how I go?”
“Tragic,” Felix says, eyeing the powder on his desk like it’s a mortal insult. “I always thought I’d go out in style. You know, something heroic like leaping from a helicopter or rescuing someone from a burning building. This is just fucking depressing.”
You look around, dusted, exhausted, and oddly exhilarated by the chaos. “Well, when life gives you anthrax…” you trail off with a shrug.
Felix raises his coffee cup in salute. “We all go out covered in powder, blood and vomit.”
And with a weary shake of his head, Chan walks back into his office, muttering something about a "transfer request form" under his breath as the bullpen erupts in laughter once more.
Tumblr media
Four hours later, the precinct feels like a tomb, the initial panic over the anthrax threat having decayed into a sluggish boredom that clings to the room like a fog.
Felix stares dead-eyed into his cup, as if expecting it to reveal some hidden truth, while Minho, growing increasingly restless, has resorted to flicking crumpled paper balls at the back of Jeongin’s head. Each hit makes Jeongin flinch, but he’s too tired to even retaliate, just accepting Minho's antics.
You’re leaned back in Jisung’s chair, spinning lazily every now and then as if the motion might somehow break up the monotony. Your coffee, now cold, sits forgotten in your hand, and Jisung, ever the optimist, sits beside you, trying to make light conversation.
“Hey, at least we have each other’s company, right?” he says, nudging you with a hopeful smile.
You raise an eyebrow, unimpressed. “It’s my day off, Jisung. I didn’t exactly plan on spending it in lockdown with a possible anthrax scare and shitty coffee.”
Before he can respond, the heavy clomp of boots echoes down the hallway. Your head snaps up, eyes locking onto the doorway just as two men in hazmat suits stride in, their suits rustling like whispers of salvation. You sit up slightly, watching them like they’re some sort of mirage, the long-lost cavalry finally arriving to end this dreary nightmare.
“Well, it’s about fucking time,” you mutter, your eyes following the men as they approach Chan, who looks about as thrilled as a man in his position could look.
Jisung leans over with a small smile, his voice barely above a whisper. “At least they’re here now.”
“Here now?” you scoff, turning to him with an incredulous look. “If this had actually been anthrax, we’d be dead already. What kind of response time is this? They took four hours, Jisung. Four. Do they think we’re immune?”
He stifles a laugh, but you can see his amusement in the crinkle at the corners of his eyes. Meanwhile, the hazmat men gesture to Chan, their voices muffled by their masks as they deliver what must be a lengthy explanation of protocols and procedures. Chan nods, his shoulders slumping just slightly as he listens.
After a few minutes, Chan clears his throat, his voice cutting through the room with forced authority. “Listen up, everyone! Hazmat just informed me that we could be here for another four to nine hours, depending on how long it takes them to conduct all necessary tests.”
A collective groan rises from the bullpen. Before anyone else can react, you whirl around to Jisung, fixing him with a dramatic, accusing stare.
“Divorce,” you declare, pointing at him with a flourish. “Effective immediately”
Jisung nearly chokes on his coffee, eyes wide. “What?!”
You stand up, throwing your arms out in exasperation, your voice dripping with sarcasm. “I’ve been stuck in this station for hours, with a looming potential biohazard threat. Anthrax or not, this is not how I wanted to spend my day off. This-” you gesture wildly at the room, encompassing the bored, powder-dusted officers around you. “is your fault, Jisung. All of it.”
Jisung stares at you, mouth half-open as he searches for words. “I…how is this my fault? I didn’t exactly order an anthrax scare for our quality time.”
“Oh, but it’s your job that dragged me into this mess!” you say, throwing your hands up again. “I could be at home, in a bathrobe, binge-watching crime dramas from the comfort of our couch. But no. I brought coffee here because I’m a supportive spouse, and now I’m paying the price for marrying you.”
Before Jisung can defend himself, Chan steps in, his voice cutting through like a referee at a boxing match. “Y/N,” he says, an amused smile tugging at his lips, “I’ll call the hospital and get you the day off tomorrow if that’ll make this any easier.”
You cross your arms, narrowing your eyes at Jisung with exaggerated triumph. “Well, would you look at that, Jisung? Your captain just saved our marriage.”
Across the room, Felix, who’s been slumped over his desk in a near-sleep state, perks up, chuckling into his hand. “Shit, Chan is pulling out the big guns. Saving marriages and shit.”
Jisung sighs, holding his hands up in a gesture of defeat as he chuckles. “Guess I owe him one.”
“You owe me more than that,” you mutter, sinking back into the chair and resuming your lazy spinning. “The day off and a full spa day when this is over.”
Jisung grins, leaning back with a playful look in his eyes. “Whatever you want, jagiya. Just as long as I don’t have to file those divorce papers.”
Minho, who’s been watching the entire exchange with a smirk, decides to chime in. “If she divorces you, Jisung, I’ll swoop right in. I mean, who wouldn’t want a spouse who brings Italian coffee in a potential biohazard situation?”
Felix snickers. “If you and Y/N got married, the world would implode. Too much chaos in one household.”
You shake your head, stifling a laugh as you look at Minho with a teasing smirk. “You’d never survive, Minho. One bad day, and I’d have you crying into your cereal.”
“Challenge accepted,” he says, his eyes glinting with mischief.
Chan sighs from his spot, still half-listening to the hazmat team’s explanations. “Enough with the matchmaking. If I have to sit through another hour of marriage talk, I’m filing a transfer request.”
Felix chuckles, leaning over to you with a conspiratorial grin. “Captain Bang, mediator of biohazard romances. Didn’t know it was part of the job description.”
“Must be in the fine print,” Chan mutters, shaking his head. "And I wish I had fucking read it properly"
One of the hazmat techs finally steps forward, addressing the room in a slightly garbled voice through his mask. “All right, folks, we’re going to start testing samples now. Please remain calm, avoid unnecessary movements, and try not to touch anything you don’t need to.”
The room collectively exhales in tired resignation. Minho raises his hand, deadpan. “Define ‘unnecessary movements.’”
The hazmat tech stares at him, either confused or completely done with the situation, it’s hard to tell through the mask. “Just sit tight, sir.”
Felix snickers, muttering under his breath, “The real anthrax scare is how bored we’re all going to be by hour nine.”
Jeongin, who’s been silently enduring Minho’s paper ball attacks, speaks up, a note of desperation in his voice. “If we’re going to be here for that long, can we at least get some food? We’ll starve at this rate.”
“Starve?” Minho raises an eyebrow, picking up his discarded coffee cup. “Nah, we’ll be fine. If we get desperate, we can always resort to cannibalism. Starting with Felix.”
Felix sputters, looking genuinely appalled. “Excuse me? Why me?”
“Self-preservation,” Minho replies smoothly. “You’re the smallest. Least resistance.”
Jeongin, unable to hide his grin, chimes in, “Plus, I bet you’d be like the chicken nugget of the group, Felix. Small, bite-sized.”
Felix rolls his eyes, tossing a paper ball at Jeongin. “I’m a gourmet meal, thank you very much. You’d all be lucky to have a piece.”
Jisung leans over, watching the hazmat team set up their equipment with growing fascination. “Is it bad that I’m sort of curious now? I mean, if this actually is anthrax, we’re kind of making history here.”
You look at him, incredulous. “History? History? If it is anthrax, we’ll be coughing up blood and dying in a very unglamorous way, Jisung. That’s not exactly the kind of legacy I had in mind.”
He shrugs, grinning. “Could make for a hell of a story, though.”
You stare at him, shaking your head. “The next time you want a story, we’re sticking to action movies, not anthrax.”
The hazmat techs start running their samples, and the room falls back into a dull, exhausted silence. You recline in Jisung’s chair, closing your eyes, already imagining the blissful tranquility of a spa day—a very overdue, very earned spa day.
After a while, Felix breaks the silence, his voice low and almost wistful. “You know, if we make it out of this alive, I think I’m going to adopt a cat. Just something small and not life-threatening.”
Jeongin snorts. “You’ll have to survive this lockdown first, man. Don’t go making promises you can’t keep.”
You chuckle, throwing an arm around Jisung’s shoulder. “Fine by me. But if one more puff of powder goes off, I swear, I’m taking the first plane back to Italy and leaving you all to fend for yourselves.”
Jisung just laughs, resting his head against yours. “Whatever you want, jagiya. I'll get on the plane with you.”

Another five gruelling hours crawl by, and the precinct has transformed into a restless prison of boredom and frustration. The air is thick, and stagnant, punctuated only by Felix’s occasional sighs and the relentless tap-tap-tap of Minho’s fingers drumming on his desk. Everyone’s slumped, sprawled out, or halfway to sleep when the two hazmat guys finally reappear, their footsteps echoing like a siren of salvation.
You sit up, barely daring to hope, as the hazmat team heads straight to Chan. After a low, muffled conversation, Chan’s face twists into a mask of pure exasperation. He turns back to the bullpen, the entire room watching him with expectant, tired eyes.
“All right, listen up!” he calls, and every officer straightens slightly, waiting. “The tests are done.” Chan sighs, pausing for what feels like an eternity. “The powder is harmless. A mix of…skin irritants. Talcum powder, cornstarch, and”—he pauses, clearly trying to keep his composure—“itching powder.”
A split second of stunned silence, then the room erupts.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Minho’s hands slam down on his desk as he surges to his feet, his voice a full octave higher than usual. “Nine hours locked down for itching powder?!”
Felix lets out a long, theatrical groan, slumping back in his chair like he might just dissolve into the floor. “Nine hours of this hell, and all we needed was a good rinse in the shower?”
Everywhere around you, officers are grumbling, voices overlapping as they process the absurdity of the past hours. You can’t take another second of it, not Minho’s complaining, not Felix’s endless sighing, not even Jeongin’s eye-rolling. You reach into Jisung’s desk drawer, grab one of the remaining powder packets, and before you can think better of it, you hurl it directly at Minho’s face.
The packet explodes on impact, a cloud of white dust billowing around him. There’s a split-second of silence before laughter explodes through the bullpen, ringing off the walls. Felix slides off his chair, practically wheezing as he gasps for breath, and Jeongin is clapping, grinning like you’ve just performed the greatest prank in the world.
Minho splutters, wiping powder from his eyes, his expression a blend of betrayal and disbelief. “Y/N! You took an oath to do no harm!”
You fold your arms, raising an eyebrow. “Nope. That’s the doctor’s oath. I’m a nurse. Totally different.”
He glares at you, dusted in white powder like a disgruntled snowman. “Unbelievable. Nine hours of hell, and this is how I’m treated? I’m filing a report, mark my words.”
Jisung snickers, reaching over to pat your shoulder. “Go ahead, file it under N. For No one gives a fuck.”
Felix, still practically in tears from laughter, chimes in, “Or under T, for Talk to someone who fucking cares.”
Jeongin joins in, his face lit up with mischievous glee. “Or S, for Shut the fuck up, no one gives a shit.”
Hyunjin, who’s been scrolling on his phone the whole time, doesn’t even look up. “Or D, for Don’t give a fuck.”
Minho’s eyes widen, his jaw dropping as he looks around the room, his face a mask of disbelief and faux betrayal. “I’m being bullied by my own subordinates! This is harassment!”
From his desk, Chan finally speaks, his voice weary and deadpan. “Minho, shut the fuck up.”
Minho’s hands fly to his chest in mock agony, his tone an exaggerated whine. “Now I’m being bullied by the big boss! This is it. No one loves me anymore!”
You lean back in your chair, grinning as you taunt, “I bet even your wife is done with your shit. She’s probably using this lockdown as the perfect chance to call her divorce lawyer.”
Felix’s eyes gleam with wicked delight as he gasps dramatically, “Filed under D, for Disappointing dick game!”
Minho’s face flushes a deep crimson, his eyes bulging as he points a finger at Felix. “Disappointing dick game? You little—”
Chan raises his hands, his face pale with horror as he plugs his ears. “Nope. Nope. Not touching this one. Not taking it to HR.”
You lean forward, eyes glinting with mischief. “You could always file it under O, for One-pump chump.”
Jisung nearly falls out of his chair, laughing so hard his coffee almost spills. Felix has rolled onto the floor, clutching his stomach as he gasps for air, and the rest of the officers are chuckling, some tossing balled-up paper and pen caps at Minho, who looks moments away from either combusting or joining in the chaos.
Minho straightens, arms crossed as he tries to look dignified. “All right, don’t think I won’t shoot every last one of you and then myself!”
Felix, propping himself up on one elbow from his spot on the floor, grins up at Minho. “With your aim, Minho? You’d miss yourself and take out half the precinct’s ceiling instead.”
Laughter ripples through the room again, some officers nearly falling out of their chairs, and even Chan has a hand covering his mouth, clearly struggling not to join in.
Minho raises an eyebrow, trying to regain control as he looks over at Chan. “Captain, I’m seriously filing a complaint. This is hostile work environment behaviour.”
Chan’s gaze turns steely, but his lips are twitching as he struggles to hold back laughter. “Minho, one more word, and I’ll personally throw you out of the window.”
Minho huffs, crossing his arms like a petulant child. “Fine. Just know that when I finally lose it, none of you will be safe.”
You glance over at him, raising an eyebrow. “Lose it? Minho, you lost it the day you joined this precinct. You’re a ticking time bomb of mild inconveniences.”
Jeongin nods, grinning. “Pretty sure your wife would agree, too. She’s probably planning her exit strategy as we speak.”
Felix smirks, winking at Minho. “Filed under M, for Maybe if you were better in bed.”
The room howls with laughter as Minho’s face turns an even deeper shade of red, and you can almost see the smoke rising from his ears. He holds up a finger, shaking it at Felix. “You better hope I don’t catch you in the locker room after this, Lee Felix.”
Felix shrugs, unphased, throwing a playful salute as he leans back in his chair. “Bring it on, grandpa. I can take you.”
Without warning, you walk over to Minho's desk, grab the last remaining packet of powder, and in one smooth motion, smush it directly into his face. There’s a split second of stunned silence before the bullpen erupts in laughter and cheers. Felix lets out a gleeful whoop, practically falling off his chair, while Jeongin laughs so hard he’s clutching his stomach.
Minho sputters, wiping at the powder coating his hair and face, his eyes wide with indignation. “You! I’m going to arrest you for assaulting an officer!” he shouts, launching himself from his chair and charging after you.
You’re already darting across the bullpen, laughter bubbling out of you as you throw a cheeky glance over your shoulder. “Oh yeah? And who’s going to patch you up next time you hurt your wrist being handcuffed to the headboard with your departmentally issued cuffs while getting down and dirty with your wife?”
The bullpen falls silent for a second, jaws dropping as they process your words. Then Felix lets out an ear-splitting scream. “Oh my god! Minho’s sprained wrist was a sex injury?!”
Minho halts mid-chase, face flushing crimson as he slaps a hand over his eyes. “We swore to secrecy!” he protests, his voice cracking with embarrassment.
You duck behind Felix’s desk, grinning wickedly. “Did we? Because I don’t seem to remember that.”
Felix, now nearly in tears, doubles over in his chair, barely able to catch his breath. “This is officially the best day of my life,” he manages to gasp out.
Minho lunges toward you again, but you spring over the desk like a gymnast, dodging his grasp with ease. He stops in his tracks, watching you with a mixture of exasperation and grudging admiration. “Are you some kind of burglar in your spare time?”
You laugh, tossing him a wink. “Had to be, to pick those damn cuffs you left lying around!”
Laughter erupts around the room again, with even Chan chuckling under his breath. Minho, panting and glaring at you, looks around for backup but finds only grins and raised eyebrows. He turns to Jisung, who’s leaning back in his chair, thoroughly entertained. “I’m arresting your wife, Han. You better be ready to bail her out.”
Jisung’s grin widens as he stretches back comfortably. “Go ahead and try. I’ll tase you before you can even get the cuffs out.”
Minho narrows his eyes, crossing his arms. “Oh, so now you’re threatening to tase me?”
Jisung shrugs, lifting his coffee cup in a lazy salute. “If it means protecting my wife, absolutely.”
The room breaks into another round of laughter, with Jeongin egging you on, a glint of mischief in his eyes as he hands you yet another packet of powder. “Here. Third time’s the charm.”
Minho stares at you, eyes wide as he holds up his hands in surrender. “I am serious about this arrest, Y/N,” he growls, his face still dusted with powder.
You raise an eyebrow, grinning. “Great, but if you do, can you at least use someone else’s handcuffs? I don’t want any residue from your…extra-curriculars.”
The entire room dissolves into hysterics again, Felix’s cackles echoing off the walls as he practically falls out of his chair. Minho’s face grows redder and redder as he points accusingly at Jisung. “This! This is who you married?!” His voice is incredulous, the words practically dripping with mock disgust.
Jisung only shrugs, his eyes gleaming with pride. “Minho, you were at our wedding. You even made a toast. You know I wouldn’t change a thing.”
Minho throws his hands up dramatically, shaking his head in dismay. “At the time, she was the sweet, sexy Italian nurse you somehow tricked into marriage. We were all baffled by it! But now…now she’s just an evil, powder-wielding menace!”
Jisung leans back in his chair, draping his arm over your shoulders with a smug grin. “Yeah, but she’s my evil, powder-wielding menace.”
Seungmin, who’s been watching the whole scene unfold with amusement, finally speaks up, his tone incredulous. “No, seriously, Han. How the fuck did you manage to marry her? I need to know.”
Felix, still half-laughing, adds, “Did you slip something in her coffee, man? Because this feels like a miracle.”
You swat Jisung’s arm playfully, grinning. “Trust me, if there’d been anything suspicious in my coffee, I’d have come to my senses and left ages ago.”
The laughter crescendos as officers toss playful insults at Minho, who looks as though he’s about to burst. Finally, just when he seems on the edge of a breakdown, Chan steps in, his voice a mix of amusement and exasperation. “Minho, you’re not arresting her. If anything, she’s doing us all a favour by keeping you in line.”
Minho looks at Chan, his jaw dropping in exaggerated offence. “I don’t even have my captain’s support! What happened to having each other’s backs, huh?”
You lean back in your chair, crossing your arms with a smug grin as Minho mutters, still clearly in shock from the betrayal. Felix, ever the instigator, can’t resist tossing in one last jab. “Hey, Minho, why don’t you go cry to your wife? Oh wait—she’s probably signing those divorce papers as we speak.”
The laughter roars again, and Minho looks as though he’s on the verge of a meltdown. Before he can retaliate, you lean back into Jisung’s embrace, his arms wrapping protectively around you as he chuckles.
“So, after all this,” Jisung murmurs near your ear, “will you still bring us coffee?”
You tilt your head back slightly, smirking up at him. “Only if you start keeping a blanket and pillow in your locker so I can nap next time there’s a lockdown.”
Jisung raises an eyebrow, grinning. “If you’d asked, I’d have told you. I’ve had a blanket and pillow in there for months.”
You stare at him in disbelief. “You’ve had a blanket this whole time? And I’ve been stuck here, caffeine-deprived and nap-deprived? Jiiiiisung!”
He laughs, pressing a quick kiss to your forehead. “Hey, on the bright side, we can go home now. I’ve racked up a solid six hours of overtime, and we’ve got the whole day tomorrow for movies, naps, and, of course, proper Italian coffee.”
You sigh contentedly, letting your head rest against his shoulder. “Fine. But I’m holding you to it.”
Jisung chuckles, loosening his hold on you just enough to stand up. “What are we waiting for, then? Let me change out of this uniform, and we’ll get out of here.”
He gives you a playful wink and heads to the locker room. The second he’s out of earshot, you swivel back to Minho, who’s still brooding at his desk, and raise an eyebrow.
“Surprised you’re still here, Minho,” you say, grinning wickedly. “Your wife’s probably already got her lawyer on speed dial, ready to serve those papers.”
Minho narrows his eyes at you and scoops up a handful of powder left on his desk, flinging it at you. It flutters through the air, dusting your hair and shoulders. Unphased, you brush it off with a smirk.
Felix, watching with barely contained laughter, leans back. “Y/N still looks like a goddamn model, and Minho looks like he’s auditioning for a low-budget winter horror movie.”
Minho’s face grows redder as he scowls around the room. “I hope this is anthrax. I hope it’s actually anthrax, and you all get what’s coming to you.”
Chan, not even looking up from his paperwork, sighs. “Minho, you’ve inhaled more of that stuff than anyone. You’re going first if it is.”
You laugh, pointing at Minho with a dramatic flair. “So we’ll get to laugh at you one last time before we go. Sounds perfect.”
Jisung returns from the locker room a few minutes later, looking relaxed and cozy in his black sweatpants and hoodie. He reaches for your hand, giving you a warm smile as he leads you toward the exit.
As you pass Minho’s desk, you can’t resist one last poke. “And, Minho? I’m off-duty tonight, so you’re on your own for any sex-related injuries. Better keep things vanilla—no handcuffs, no nipple clamps.”
Minho’s face flushes bright red, and the entire room pauses to stare at him, expressions ranging from shocked to delighted. Felix’s head snaps up, eyes gleaming with curiosity. “Hold up—did someone say nipple clamps?”
You and Jisung exchange a look, grinning, before turning in unison to point at Minho. The room explodes in laughter once again as Minho slams his hand over his face in mortification.
“Fine! So, I like a bit of spice. Sue me!” he shouts over the uproar.
The laughter only intensifies, but Minho lifts his chin, crossing his arms and attempting to look dignified. “At least I’m not the only one with skeletons. I know all about what you two get up to!” he says, pointing accusingly at you and Jisung.
Felix perks up, eyes wide with excitement. “Oh, I have to hear this.”
Minho leans back, smirking. “They do Grey’s Anatomy roleplay. Full doctor-nurse scenarios.”
Felix’s jaw drops, a slow grin spreading over his face. “Wait—how do you know that?”
Minho grins, clearly enjoying the attention. “I was picking up some old furniture from them. Let myself in, and there they were in the living room. Y/N in a slutty nurse outfit, and Dr. Han was conducting a very unethical exam.”
The bullpen erupts into laughter, louder than ever, and Jisung grins, pulling you close, unbothered by the revelation. You roll your eyes, fighting a smile, knowing Minho’s just getting you back.
Felix, wiping tears from his eyes, stammers, “Oh my god, this is the best thing I’ve ever heard. You guys are absolute legends.”
You shake your head, throwing a grin Minho’s way. “All right, all right. Keep those stories for next time, Minho. We’ll be back tomorrow if you want to keep sharing.”
Minho gives a mock salute, a grin spreading across his face. “I’ll save the best for last. But just you wait, Jisung. I’ve got more where that came from.”
Jisung chuckles, guiding you out of the bullpen, giving one last wave. “See you tomorrow, Minho.”
The door closes behind you, and the cool night air washes over your face as you take a deep breath, finally free from the laughter, the powder, and the relentless teasing. Jisung leads you to his car, and as you sink into the passenger seat, you can’t help but smile, feeling a giddy sense of satisfaction.
“Well,” you say, leaning back with a sigh, “that was a day.”
Jisung lets out a soft chuckle, starting the car. “It was something all right. But hey, now it’s just us. Tomorrow’s ours. Movies, naps, and that Italian coffee you’ve been promising me.”
You open one eye, giving him a sidelong glance. “No Minho?”
He smirks, reaching over to give your hand a squeeze. “Definitely no Minho.”
Tumblr media
Jisung pulls into the driveway, the familiar warmth of home glowing like a promise as he shuts off the engine. You step out of the car, your heels clicking softly against the pavement as you stretch, arms raised above your head, sighing in relief to finally be back. Jisung joins you, his fingers intertwining with yours as you both head up the walkway, and for a moment, everything feels blissfully calm and quiet. Worlds away from the precinct’s chaos.
Inside, Jisung locks the door behind you, leaning against it with a weary but contented grin. “Shower?”
“Oh, absolutely,” you reply, laughing. “The last thing I need is that damn itching powder haunting me all night. Not dealing with nine hours of that just to be scratching in my sleep.”
He chuckles, squeezing your hand. “Good call. Let’s head up.”
You both kick off your shoes, and you grab the handrail as you make your way upstairs, your dress swishing softly with each step. In the bathroom, Jisung is already tugging his hoodie over his head, tossing it to the floor without a second thought. His grin turns wicked as he catches your eye. “What, no stripping from you?”
You roll your eyes but smile, unzipping the back of your dress and letting it slide from your shoulders, pooling around your feet. “Happy now?”
“Ecstatic,” he says, his eyes twinkling as he slips off his sweatpants and steps into the shower. He twists the handle, testing the water temperature with his hand. “Come on, it’s perfect.”
You step in beside him, the hot water pouring over you, washing away the remnants of powder, sweat, and every ounce of stress. Jisung closes the glass door behind you, reaching for the shampoo and pouring a generous dollop into his hands.
“Here, let me,” he murmurs, massaging the shampoo into your hair with gentle fingers, his thumbs rubbing small circles along your scalp.
You close your eyes, melting under his touch. “God, how much powder did we inhale today? I feel like it’s in my hair, my lungs…my brain.”
He laughs, rinsing the shampoo from your hair. “Honestly, we’re probably sneezing up talcum powder for weeks. Worth it though—you looked like a total badass hurling that last packet at Minho.”
“Couldn’t resist,” you say, tilting your head back to let the water flow over your hair. “Besides, the whole thing was ridiculous. Nine hours of lockdown for itching powder?”
“You made it memorable, though,” he teases, his fingers running through your hair to make sure it’s completely clear. “Thanks for sticking it out with us.”
You scoff, giving him a playful nudge. “Like I had much choice. I’d have been thrown in lockup if I’d tried to escape.”
He snorts. “No way would I let that happen to my beautiful wife, stranded in her sundress and all. I’d fight anyone who tried to lock you up.”
“Anyone, huh?” you laugh, glancing over your shoulder at him. “Even Chan?”
Jisung lifts his chin defiantly. “Even Chan. Sure, he’d wipe the floor with me in seconds, but I’d make it look heroic. I’d do it for you.”
You laugh, turning to face him, your eyes sparkling. “Babe, you’re right. Chan would flatten you without breaking a sweat. One flex of those shoulders, and you’re done.”
“Hey!” he protests, scooping a handful of water and splashing it at you, eyes narrowed in playful accusation. “I thought you were on my side.”
Grinning, you wipe the water from your face. “I am on your side! You’re the one who said it!”
He huffs, though his grin is unstoppable as he lathers up the body wash, his hands moving over your shoulders and down your arms, lingering at your waist. “Sure, sure. Thanks for the support, traitor.”
“Just being realistic here,” you reply, biting back a laugh.
He smirks, his thumb tracing a soft circle on your hip. “Yeah, yeah. ‘Realistic,’ my ass.”
You nudge him lightly, but he only laughs, taking a step back to grab the body wash for himself. You let the hot water cascade over you, rinsing away the last of the powder, and sigh as the warmth melts the final bits of tension in your muscles. Once he’s finished washing, Jisung twists off the water, reaching for a fluffy towel on the wall.
Stepping out, you grab your favourite long robe with the marabou trim, wrapping it around yourself. Jisung, watching you with a smirk, secures a towel around his waist, eyebrows raised in admiration.
“You know,” he says, tilting his head as he eyes your robe, “they call those ‘femme fatale robes’ for a reason. You look like you’re about to seduce me for a stack of cash and a getaway car.”
You snort, pulling a comb through your damp hair. “Please. That’s the last thing on my mind right now. Food and sleep are the only things I’m interested in.”
“Couldn’t agree more,” he says, grabbing his razor from the sink and applying a dollop of shaving cream to his face. “I’m starving. How about takeout?”
“Sounds perfect,” you say, reaching for your skincare products. “Cooking anything tonight sounds like absolute torture.”
He chuckles, carefully shaving the stubble from his face. “Takeout and…a Harry Potter marathon?”
You grin, catching his eye in the mirror. “Now you’re speaking my language. Ravenclaw supremacy, all the way.”
“Uh, excuse me?” He pauses mid-brush, putting on an expression of exaggerated shock. “We all know Hufflepuff’s the real hero house.”
“Oh, Jisung,” you say, shaking your head as you smooth on some moisturizer. “Ravenclaws would outsmart everyone in seconds.”
“Psh, Hufflepuffs would win on loyalty and determination,” he counters, rinsing his razor. “We’re the ones who bring snacks, make sure everyone’s good, and still get the job done.”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night,” you reply, patting on some eye cream. “Meanwhile, I’ll be doing what Ravenclaws do best: winning.”
He rolls his eyes, grinning as he wraps an arm around your waist and pulls you close. “Fine, Miss Ravenclaw Supremacy. Let’s go order some food before I pass out right here.”
Together, you head down the hallway to the bedroom, where Jisung grabs his phone and flops onto the bed, scrolling through food delivery options.
“So, what are we feeling? Pizza? Thai? Sushi?” he asks, glancing at you as you turn on the TV and pull up Netflix.
You curl up beside him, resting your head on his shoulder. “Let’s go with Thai. Feels earned after today.”
“Thai it is,” he says, quickly placing the order. He sets his phone down and wraps an arm around you, pulling you in closer. “And tomorrow morning, once we’re itch-free and well-rested, I’m making us the biggest breakfast ever. Pancakes, eggs, the whole deal.”
You sigh, melting into his warmth. “That sounds heavenly. But for now, we’ve got Thai on the way, Harry Potter ready to go, and we’re finally powder-free.”
Jisung grins, pressing a kiss to the top of your head as he clicks play on The Philosopher’s Stone. “Nineteen hours and thirty-nine minutes of pure wizarding magic ahead of us.”
You snuggle deeper into him, grinning. “Perfect. Only way this night could be better is if you’d actually pick Ravenclaw.”
“Keep dreaming,” he chuckles, giving your side a gentle squeeze. “Everyone knows Hufflepuffs bring the real magic. Besides, what do Ravenclaws even bring? Trivia?”
“Intellect,” you say, sitting up slightly to give him a haughty look. “And let’s be honest—Ravenclaws would make amazing Aurors.”
He shakes his head, amused. “And Hufflepuffs would be the best Healers, the ones who’d save everyone after your ‘intellect’ gets you all hexed.”
You throw a pillow at him, laughing as he catches it easily. “You’re impossible.”
“Nah, I’m adorable,” he replies with a smirk, leaning in to give you a quick kiss. “And I’ve got Thai food on the way.”
“Okay, I’ll give you that,” you say, settling back against him as the movie starts.
When the doorbell rings twenty minutes later, Jisung jumps up, grabbing the food and quickly coming back to the bedroom, arms loaded with takeout bags. He spreads them out on the bed, grinning.
“All right, feast time!” he declares, opening the containers. “Green curry for you, Pad Thai for me, and spring rolls for both of us.”
You dig in, savouring the warm, spicy flavours, and let out a contented sigh. “This is exactly what I needed.”
Jisung grins, his mouth full of noodles. “Told you. Nothing like Thai and Harry Potter after a day like that.”
The movie plays on, and you both devour the food, laughing over scenes you’ve seen a thousand times and arguing over the merits of each Hogwarts house. As the night wears on, you find yourself drifting off against him, his arm a comforting weight around your shoulders.
Just as you’re about to fully doze off, Jisung gently shakes you awake. “Hey, don’t fall asleep yet. We’ve got a whole marathon to get through.”
You smile sleepily, snuggling into him. “Can’t help it. You make the perfect pillow.”
He laughs softly, shifting so you’re both lying down, pulling the blankets over you. “All right, fine. We’ll marathon it tomorrow. For now, get some sleep.”
You drift off with his fingers tracing soothing patterns on your back, the sound of the movie playing softly in the background. For once, there’s no powder, no noise, just the quiet warmth of home, Jisung beside you, and a full night of uninterrupted rest stretching out ahead.

BANG CHAN
Chan didn't mind that you were introverted, but GOD everytime you flexed your muscles literally anywhere, he would just stare. Stare so hard that you had to ask him if he was okay.
You always acted just like a cat, sometimes Minho would mistake you for Doongie. You were always sleeping after performances, and there are times where you're affectionate .. but not much.
You had abs. Oh you definitely did. He only saw it when you accidentally lifted your shirt up one time. But oh my god.
You showed your abs during a concert and he didn't. He couldn't take his eyes off and EVERYONE noticed. He even touched it....
Felix noticed that Chan's ears were red as HELL, and only told Stays about it.
The entire thing went viral on STAYTok. One half were people freaking out about your abs and the other freaking out about Chan touching your abs.

LEE KNOW
We all know Minho likes cats. And you were exactly just like that! Possibly in every SKZ-TALKER, Minho was attached to you no matter where.
People thought it was cute, and the staff didn't mind since it wasn't causing anything to be .. weird. And it was getting positive feedback, so they kept most of the moments in.
One thing about Minho, he likes to slap butts. Yeah, Minho does that to you, but he also does it to your stomach just to feel your abs for a few seconds. He's never seen them before, though. But that changed at one tour in Chicago.
You were playing around with Chan by pulling up his shirt every once in a while, but when you walked up to him to lift up his shirt, you decided to surprise everyone and lift up your shirt instead.
Minho had an o face while Stays screamed their lungs out. He touched them for a second before smirking at stays, flexing that he could touch them while they couldn't.

SEO CHANGBIN
Ah yes. Your flexing buddy. And your ' never show abs ' buddy. You two are awfully similar except he's extroverted and you're introverted. The only time you ever get out the house is when Changbin drags you to the gym or out to eat.
You two always flex whenever given the chance to. I mean, fan service, right?
Changbin LOVED to touch your biceps. And your tiddies....
We all know how Changbin is on stage. Always doing something that makes people think what his sexuality is. And ALOT of those moments were with you. Multiple times trying to kiss you, making a few adlibs about you whenever your absent, and others
But GOD when he saw your abs for the first time on stage, he was so surprised, his face became a meme among stays.
Literally ever since that day, Changbin had been touching your abs in EVERY SINGLE CHANCE HE GETS. Always having a cheeky smile on his face.

HWANG HYUNJIN
Hyunjin was also an introvert, so the two of you usually hang out indoors, usually enjoying the silence or talking about some random drama on TikTok.
Although Hyunjin wasn't a fan of skinship, being around you was like having a pillow 24/7. You were so comfortable to sleep on.
He always slept on you during pre-performances. Purposely on your stomach though.. he just hasn't seen them yet.
When he saw it for the first time on stage he was mesmerized. How long have you been working on them abs???!! They're more visible than Chan's!
GODDD YOU LOOKED SO GOOD LIKE THAT. He would often get distracted when looking at you because he was wondering why you weren't the visual of the group....
Got more attached to you after that just to touch your abs /j

HAN JISUNG
Han only goes to the gym if you decide to go. AND SOMEHOW YOUR BICEPS R SO BIG EVEN THOUGH YOU DONT GO THAT MUCH???
Maybe you worked out in the dorms.... Since you didn't really like going outside as much as most members. Quarantine prolly got to you.
whipped 100%. The moment he saw your abs on stage he immediately went to touch them. Pretending like his cheeks weren't burning.
Whole thing went viral among STAYS. People were shipping you two together, making edits of the moment and such...

LEE FELIX
Touches your biceps 24/7. It's like a stress ball to him. HE WISHES HE COULD BITE THEM.
Your biceps were about the same size as Changbin's, maybe a bit smaller but yeah.
You just were extremely introverted and didn't like going out. It's understandable, being an idol and all
One thing different about you was you had ABS. and it was so different on you compared to him because you were A BIT BUFF COMPARED TO HIM. he was like a twig
So when you were on stage and was wearing croptop with a shirt under, HE WAS STARING. AND THIS WAS BEFORE YOU SHOWED YOUR ABS
He saw them. You lifted up your shirt. He almost passed out. He stared.
He was TOUCHING them and staring so hard it almost took most of the concert time
𑁍𑁍𑁍 𑁍𑁍𑁍
KIM SEUNGMIN
He was a bit like you. Introverted. Except he acts like a dog and you were just like a cat.
You were just on the couch laying down with your shirt up a bit, showing your abs a bit.
He saw them and just pretended not to see them as you greeted him. He immediately had to go back to his room to process what he just saw.
He clung on to you alot. You didn't mind, if it meant that he felt safer with you.
When on stage, the two of you have a lot of moments. Seungmin having multiple failed attempts at trying to kiss you, singing/rapping your parts whenever your absent, and others.
So, when he saw your abs for the first time on stage, HE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO FEEL. His face became warm and he just touched them with the other members.
You looked so attractive with them..... He couldn't stop thinking about it everytime on stage.
𑁍𑁍𑁍 𑁍𑁍𑁍
YANG JEONGIN
He liked you. Yeah. But he didn't know how to express it. You were this hot and he was just there.
You always encouraged and comforted him whenever he felt down. That's why he liked you.
He liked your biceps. THEY WERE SO FUN TO SQUISH.
Jeongin didn't have alot of moments with you on stage since he was was too shy, but you two had a few cute moments on stage.
When he saw your abs for the first time, he started laughing while touching them, ears red while he stuttered on a few words.
He touched them like every day and you can see that he touches them alot in SKZ-TALKERs

BONUS:
STAYS
just screams. Everyone screamed. Louder than when Felix or Chan showed his abs.
Whole thing went absolutely viral on STAYTok. A few of them said they wanted to bite them, a lot of them were just screaming over it in the TikTok comments.
A lot made edits of the moment, and a lot made videos of showing the moment on multiple devices.
Basically: you probably made a lot of people question their biases.

“yn? what are you doing here?” you heard familiar voice, recognising it even when it was dark outside. minho came closer to you when you stopped in your tracks, your eyes glued to the pavement. you were slightly tipsy from all the drinks you had this evening.
you haven’t seen minho in four months, since the day you broke up with him. partially because you avoided him and partially because you both moved after the break up and you didn’t know where he went. until now. “oh, i’m just… going home,” you muttered, attempting to smile a little. “are you alone? why didn’t you take a taxi?” he asked again, his voice was strained. you sighed loudly and felt the sting in the corners of your eyes. he was right, why didn’t you simply take a taxi? well, you hadn’t taken any money from home since you weren’t supposed to come home alone. in a failed attempt to distract yourself, you went on a date with a guy you’d met on a dating app a few weeks before. at first everything was going well, he picked you up and drove you to a club downtown. you had a couple of drinks and talked for a while, trying to get to know each other. but he was getting more pushy with each drink, asking you uncomfortable questions and trying to hold your hand though you told him many times you didn’t want to. that made him visibly upset, which resulted in him leaving you for some random girls at the club. you wasted no time and left the building and decided to head home, even though the walk was about to take you around hour and a half.
you were so lost in your thoughts that you didn’t realise you were shivering from the cold air. it was a chilly night and your short dress failed to keep you warm. but minho noticed in the faint light of a streetlamp and gave you his jacket. it was too big for you, but when you inhaled familiar scent of his cologne you felt all the memories come back. you looked up at him. “i- uh… i can give you some money for a taxi or-” minho started, a little hesitant, but you silenced him with a hand gesture and a faint shush, suddenly hearing little noises from bushes nearby. you took off your heels and rushed to the source of noise. minho didn’t waste time and went after you, confused about your behaviour. you sat on a ground in front of the bushes and took your phone from your purse. you turned the torch on and started looking into the plants. it didn’t take minho long to understand as he heard the noises as well. he sat next to you and started to look for the source with you. after a few minutes you reached out your hand and managed to catch a small kitten that was hiding in the bushes. it was trembling in your arms, its big eyes wide open and breathing uneven. you examined him carefully and noticed that it was hurt, his leg covered in blood. “everything is okay now, buddy, it’s okay,” you petted the kitten, but you were panicking since you didn’t know what to do with it. it was late at night, you were far from your apartment and weren’t sure if you would be able to carry him all the way. “what do i do…” you whispered, a single tear slowly making its way down your cheek. you were so focused on a feline that you didn’t hear minho’s voice and he had to gently shake your arm. the action startled you a bit. he muttered a quiet “sorry” and repeated his words. “i know a good vet who’s open at nights, we can go there now.” you examined his look for a moment - his hair got way longer since the last time you’d seen each other, and he was smiling reasuringly at you as if he wanted to help you rather than the cat. you nodded faintly and you two made your way to his car.
you were beyond stressed, sitting in the waiting room, completely clueless of the kitten’s state, the alcohol in your veins was almost gone. minho was there with you - he refused to leave you alone and it kind of made you wonder whether he also had flashbacks from the time you were together. you missed him a lot, every day you regretted breaking up with him. you thought your reason was enough to convince yourself that this is what’s best for you, but god were you wrong. you hated the fact that minho was always overworking himself, he couldn't take care of himself and with that he neglected your relationship, desperately working on yet another task from work, staying there until 2 or 3 a.m. every single day and you couldn't take it anymore.
but now you would give away anything to bring back your relationship, because nothing in this world is worse than staying late at night waiting for someone who's not coming back to you.
suddenly you heard the doors open and the vet approached you. you got up, nervous whether the kitten was fine or not. "the cat has a broken leg, is dehydrated and covered in fleas. we will place him in a shelter when he gets better and for now he'll stay here with us. thank you for rescuing him," he smiled at you, added a quick "good night" and disappeared behind the door. you exhaled loudly, the weight was taken from your shoulders. you went outside and checked for the navigation to your apartment. two hours by foot. it was your last straw, broken sobs started leaving you body and you simply sat on a pavement. minho looked at you, dumbfounded and after a quick analysis of your mood he crouched next to you. "hey, it's okay, the kitty is fine. i'm sure he'll find a loving home," he said, his voice was quiet and soothing. "it's not the cat, it's just…" you started, but quickly paused to wipe some tears from your face. "i had a terrible date tonight, i'm tired and stressed, i haven't slept properly for the past couple of months and just- everything sucks and i- i miss you" you whispered the last part, too embarrassed to admit that even though we were the one to break up, you were also the one to miss it dearly.
it was silent between you two, the only source of noise were some cars passing by. "i don't work that much anymore," he said quietly after a long while. "your words made me realise how badly my fixation hurt people around me - how it hurt you." you didn't respond, more tears were silently rolling down your face as you were fidgeting with the hem of your dress. "i'm sorry, yn. i'm really, really sorry. if i could, i would prove it to you every day, i- i really changed. if you just let me show it to you i will," he uttered. you finally stood up to look him in the eyes. god, you really missed him. "you promise you're gonna take care of yourself?" you started and he immediately nodded. "and you're gonna be around more often?" "i'll be around anytime you want me to," he whispered, subconsciously closing the gap between you two. you exhaled, your breath shaky, and spoke again. "then i'll give you another chance." his eyes lit up at your words and he smirked, visibly pleased. he wrapped his arms around you and kissed your temple. you stood there for a long time, but then minho broke the hug and took your hand in his instead. "let's go baby. soonie, doongie and dori missed you so much."

So, you and Felix had reached the labyrinth.
Lush and blooming in daylight, it seemed hazy and darksome at night. But still, it was the same maze in which you used to love playing hide-and-seek and catch-up with Felix. You could never catch up with him, no matter how much you wanted to, which made you childishly angry, and he laughed and teased you all the time. Now it seemed somewhat symbolic to you.
"So, what did you want, can you finally say, please?" he wondered with a smile. He was already drunk enough, too, but you started sobering up a little from this long walk.
"You were right. Oliver can be weird. I thought we would talk, but he brushed me off and started dancing with one girl, then another... and then he and Venetia..."
You couldn't hold back your tears. Felix hugged you, comforting you. His warm embrace protected you from the cool air and sense of desperation. It seems as if he was covering you not only with safe arms, but also with his angelic wings.
"Hush, sweetie, hush," he said, quietly asking after a while, "...is it getting better?"
You nodded, looking up at him with tear-stained eyes.
Felix smiled slightly, gently wiping the tears from your cheek. Raising his eyebrows, he looked at you expressively, there was a pause in the air. Felix bent down and reached for your lips. You started answering without fully understanding what you were doing. All this alcohol, torn feelings, Oliver's behavior and, of course, the unrequited love for Felix buried deep inside you for several years, made you try to experience this feeling at least once. You enjoyed his warm, soft lips, hugging his shoulders, until it completely dawned on you. No, you couldn’t do that. Feelings for Felix were long in the past, and Oliver was in the present. The situation might be terrible and confusing, but at least you need to talk, and only then make such decisions as how to respond to someone's feelings or not. Especially since your feelings and thoughts now actually belonged to Oliver.
You gently pushed the guy away from you, "I'm sorry, Felix. I can't do that."
"Why not?"
"I'm... thinking about Oliver now."
"What?" he couldn't believe his ears, "Are you really ready to forgive this freak, even after everything I've told you?"
"We should at least listen to his side... and besides, I have... feelings for him," you finally admitted.
"Y/N, what should we listen to? He's a liar and a creep, that's all! What feelings? Oh, don't make me upset, please. I wouldn't want you to choose anyone over me, but if it's Oliver, then it's some kind of insult even!"
He grimaced, and you got angry, "Well, then don't be offended and better choose your own friends next time. Or, as your sister says, "toys"! But it's not for you to tell me who I should or shouldn't be with!"
"Fine. Have fun then! But I assure you, Oliver is unlikely to stay here for long..." Felix threw up his arms, and in a fit of anger turned around and left the maze.
* * *
Not far from the house, he plopped down on a bench, where Farleigh approached him with some two girls. Felix moodily lit a cigarette.
"Hey, buddy, what’s with the face?"
Catton Jr. said nothing and only frowned more, rolling the cig in his lips. Farleigh gave him a drink from his bottle, and then, turning around, quietly suggested, "Coke?"
* * *
You were wiping away the remnants of tears, leaning on the statue of the Minotaur and inhaling the sobering cool air. Looking up, you met the gaze of a horned monster. Despite the intimidating appearance, his eyes were plaintive, like a gentle cow's. You always paid attention to this detail, ever since you had noticed it once as a child, it helped you stop being afraid of the statue when you were running with Felix and Venetia in the maze. Any thing or person, if you look at them closer, does not seem as intimidating as at first glance. Perhaps even worthy of pity.
A familiar horned silhouette appeared in the maze.
"Oliver? How did you..."
"How did you like the party, Y/N? It seems that you completely abandoned your birthday boy tonight," he was slowly approaching you from the darkness. Up close, Oliver looked even more amazing in this suit. You involuntarily looked him up and down, lingering with your gaze on the naked torso peeking out from under the jacket, on which again hung only one chain reflecting the light of the moon. His summer-tanned skin contrasted so well with the glaringly white suit. The pebbles creaked softly under his feet as he came up to you and gently stroked your neck. Your skin covered with goosebumps. You swallowed, pushing those thoughts aside.
"Are you kidding me now? I didn't leave you for the whole evening. And it wasn't me dancing with some random girls and Venetia."
"Oh yeah? But it wasn't me who kissed one of the Cattons this evening!" his fingers closed palpably around your throat.
"Oliver... what are you doing..." he let the grip, and you continued, "Are you crazy? Why the hell were you following us? You're really doing this, gods… Just like Felix said... "
"Said what?"
"That you were watching Venetia and me and that you... did obscene things and told him that you... liked both of us."
He narrowed his eyes, "What else did Felix tell you today?"
You frowned, "That's all," he continued to look at you silently, "That’s enough for me, isn’t it for you?"
He pinned you at the pedestal of the monument, enclosing you between his strong arms. He looked at you with unblinking, darkening eyes and asked, "So, why the hell did you kiss Felix Catton?"
"He kissed me! I've been wanting to talk to you all evening, and you brushed me off... and then you started dancing with some girl.… And then with Venetia… And that's after everything Felix told me.… He tried to comfort me, but I... refused him. I wanted to talk to you first," hot tears rolled down your cheeks again. His face seemed to soften a little.
"First of all," Oliver said, "calm down, my dear. Secondly, you don't know anything. Thirdly," he runs his thumb over your left cheek, wiping away tears," This is still not a reason to kiss someone else. I'll explain everything clearly to you now."
Without warning, he got under the hem of your dress and inserted one finger into you. You exhaled sharply.
"About the window case... yes. I was looking at you, just at you, unable to look away. I will not apologize for this, although it is a pity that Felix and, in the end, you misunderstood me because of him. But these are his problems. Are you going to be mad at me for not being able to resist your beauty? Don't be silly, Y/N. Did you see yourself lying in a swimsuit under the hot summer sun? I did. I'll tell you, it's a sight that you can't handle yourself. Or rather, it was only my hand that could somehow handle it."
He added a second finger and slightly accelerated the pace.
"What about the party… I was in a bad mood, I needed to talk to Felix and explain about this situation so that he wouldn't upset you, but I couldn't find him anywhere. So, I asked his friend first, and then his sister. The fact that they were both drunk, high and desperate for any male attention is not my problem either. I don't know what you’ve imagined..."
The pace of his fingers became ruthless, Oliver also added a third finger, and it almost caused you real pain from the suddenness of everything that was happening. Another tear involuntarily rolled down your cheek.
"...but I've been hoping all evening that after talking to Felix that I'll finally get, as you said, my main gift..."
He licked your hot tear off your face with his even hotter tongue.
"You."
You almost came from a mixture of fear, excitement and arousal.
"I saw you walk past me, holding his hand and not saying a word to me. Of course, I followed you, especially since I needed to talk to him. And what do I see? How he. Kisses. My. Girlfriend."
It was the first time he had said "girlfriend". In a different environment, you'd been absolutely happy, but now a feeling of unknown anxiety had been added to this feeling. Oliver himself would prefer announcing it in different circumstances, but there we go. He pulled out your fingers, which glistened in the dark. You were panting a little. He ran his digits lightly over his lower lip.
"Tell me, is my name Felix Catton?"
You were silent. He couldn't be serious, could he?.. But Oliver leaned over to you and almost whispered his question into your lips, "Is. My. Name. Felix. Catton?"
"No..."
"So, what is my name?" he asked, staring intently into your eyes so that you wanted to sink through the ground. His hands squeezed your forearms painfully enough.
"O-Oliver..." you answered almost soundlessly.
"I can't hear you, Y/N. Say it a little bit louder, please."
You were silent, shaking slightly. It was like the air has left your lungs. Oliver sighed.
He took you by the hips and pulled you to him, turning you over with your chest and stomach on the pedestal of the monument, your front parts of your body were not used to the cold of the stone and immediately became covered with goosebumps, just like your palms and elbows, which you had to lean on now. He bent you and spread your legs wide apart, lifting the hem of your dress.
"You have a very beautiful outfit today, darling. I'm sorry I was out of sorts and didn't say it sooner – you look amazing tonight. Of course, I noticed it right away," you heard the sound of a belt slowly unbuckling, and then the sound of a fabric coming down, "So, who is this? Helena? Or Hermia? Oh, it must be Hermia, isn’t it? How ironic. I hope in this version of the story she won't have to choose between Lysander and Demetrius?"
Oliver, holding your hips, bent down and left a few kisses on your neck, going down to your shoulder blades.
"She won't have to."
With those words, he entered you, abruptly and without warning. You exhaled in a little shock. Oliver entered and fill you up completely at once and, almost without giving you time to get used to it, began unhurried, but nevertheless impatient movements with his hips. You started to sigh and whine, feeling yourself getting wetter by the second. He smiled, feeling it, "I didn't expect anything else. So, tell me, dear, what's my name? Only louder this time."
You let out a moan in response, and Oliver picked up the pace, "I'm going to bang those words out of you."
Your eyes were watering, but he watched the way you were twisting and panting. You liked this. He could see it in your face, which was slightly tilted to the side, could feel it within his core. He continued thrusting, his hips meeting your ass with each movement. He reached up, wrapping a hand around your neck and pulling you closer, the sensation restricting your breathing ever-so-slightly turned you on even more.
"So... what's my name?"
"Oli...ver..." you moaned, stumbling because of his strong grip and the rhythm he had set.
He practically went in and out of you completely with every move, the stone of the pedestal seemed to melt under you. The feeling of a little fear and anxiety completely turned into a pleasure that overshadowed everything else. Oliver took his hand off your throat and moved it to your hair, burrowing into it slightly.
"Oliver… Oliver!" you said louder, breathing heavily, the words turning into moans again.
"Good girl, that's exactly my name. And all the other names, and even more so lips, hands, and so on, you must forget. This is my wish for my birthday."
You looked back and your eyes finally met. His eyes were completely dark with lust, and his lips crooked into a satisfied smile when he caught your gaze. He was horned and you were incredibly horny. Heck, he was horny too, of course, not to say more.
You gasped every time as he was pushing inside you. You were so fucking tight, still so tight, you were need to be fucked more like that sometimes, he kept thinking to himself as he gritted his teeth, feeling your body pulsating around him.
"Fuck, girl, making such a mess over me," he groaned. His head fell back and his grip on you was tightening.
The moon casted a shadow of the two of you on the ground. Oliver's horned silhouette was crashing into you, and a horned monster was looking at it all from above. You were close to the end.
You were mewling, bucking your hips, wanting to take him deeper, the tip of his cock brushing against your most pleasurable spot with every thrust. He drove into you harder, holding you tighter, clenching his jaw. His pace was absolutely merciless and was already just abruptly knocking the air out of you instead of any screams.
"Oliver!.." you came around his cock, and a minute later he followed you, piling on top of you. He was breathing heavily, and then he kissed you on the shoulder, then on the neck, after that he turned you over and sat you on the pedestal of the statue, straightening your dress.
Buttoning up his white pants, he knelt down, gently wrapping his arms around your leg, kissing your knee and looking deep into your eyes. The feel of his warm fingertips against the slightly cold skin on your calf gave your chills. Then he took your hand, kissed it and pressed his face against it. Closing his eyes, he began to rub his cheek against your hand, burrowing his face into your palm. It was an act of adoration after the act of forcibly asserting his authority.
He was again just a mere stag by his Artemis’s side.
You stroked his dark soft hair, and then you began to grope his antlers. Sharp and hard, now you were stroking them securely, although it seemed that a moment earlier Oliver could stab someone with them out of rage. Maybe even you. Any thing or person, if you look at them closer, does not seem as intimidating as at first glance. Yet maybe not quite any.
He rose from his knees to the level of your face, and leaning on his hands next to your hands, he asked softly and hoarsely, "Are you mine, Y/N?"
His piercingly blue eyes were glowing in the dark along with his suit, which seemed almost luminescent white in the night.
"Yes, Oliver, I am yours," you replied, sealing your promise with a kiss.
* * *
You walked silently back to the house, out of the maze, through the garden, past the pond. The small pebbles crunched under your feet. The fresh air, all these wild experiences and emotions today and their passionate resolution made your legs feel wobblier with every step, and your eyes began to feel weary.
Upon entering the hall where the party was going on, you were greeted by loud music again:
One, two, three, four
Let me hear you scream if you want some more
Like ah, push it, push it
Watch me work it
I'm perfect
Oliver kissed you on the stairs. Few people paid attention, but he knew that Felix would most likely notice if he was here. And he was here, and he noticed. You turned around and saw that Felix was already dancing with some girl and was clearly having a good time with her. You were upset. It didn't last long, you thought bitterly. Even though he probably had a lot to drink, it was no excuse to forget his intentions so quickly. But you didn't know that he had been high for a long time on top of everything else.
"Can you get me something to drink?" you moaned.
"Baby, haven't you had enough for today?" Oliver began mockingly, and then, seeing your frown, added, "The wishes of the birthday boy’s girlfriend are the law," and left for cocktails.
That's right, I'm a superstar
Everybody wanna come up when I'm at the bar
All the people wanna try
It's like, give me some more
Try a little harder, honey
Give me some more
You were looking at Felix and the girl in the fairy costume again. He could not take his hands off her, then bent down and began to whisper something to her, or maybe not only whisper, which made her giggle.
Perfection… ha-ha!
The female singer's voice seemed to mockingly comment on the situation.
Your heart has almost broken once again this night. When you saw a drink nearby on a nearby table, you knocked it over without looking at the contents. Damn, it seemed like it was something very strong. Oliver returned with two cocktails, blocking you in every sense from this view. Smiling, you downed another cocktail in almost one sitting. Your head began to spin pleasantly again, pushing out unnecessary thoughts. You and Oliver danced a little. How fabulous he was in that outfit, your birthday boy. The music seemed to disappear for a while when you enjoyed this moment of dancing, without taking your eyes off each other.
Then, the music almost abruptly hit you with a throbbing headache and a heaviness in your eyelids and legs. It seems that fatigue and a sense of stress have returned, multiplied by repeated alcohol intoxication. Oliver led you through the entire crowd and all the rooms, almost every one of which had its own mini-party, until you found yourself on your floor. He carefully helped you undress and put you to bed. Your body ached pleasantly, feeling the soft mattress underneath and the duvet above.
"Good night, Ollie."
"Good night, Y/N," he said softly, "And... Sorry for everything."
"We sort of settled everything," you assured him, being sure that he was only talking about the events of the evening, and not about anything else, "Everything will be fine."
"Everything will be fine, that is for sure."
* * *
Oliver returned to the hall, a bottle of wine in his hand. Felix never let talk to him, literally sent him away, and Quick wanted to give him another chance. Or maybe he didn't want to anymore after Felix laid his eyes and not only the eyes on Y/N.
Catton Jr. danced merrily with his fairy, and then at some point took her by the hand and led her across the hall, outside. Oliver watched all this closely, gloomily drinking from a bottle, leaning against the wall.
Felix's clouded mind told him to finish the job, his regrets almost completely blocked by drugs, alcohol and the desire to lick his wounded ego. Therefore, his almost mindless brain led him down the road that he already knew well. Into the maze.
Oliver followed, his wrath building with each slow but firm step as he was running through all the events that had happened. Going to his parents without warning, ignoring his requests and pleas to stop, turn around, or at least not go with him. The discovery of the truth, the way Felix pushed him away, calling him a fucking liar, yet he had nosed into Oliver's life himself. The way fear and contempt were read in his eyes, mixed with an inner struggle whether to tell it all to everyone or not. To tell it to Y/N or not. The way he started turning Y/N against him. The way he started hitting on Y/N, especially now, knowing it all. And how he immediately traded you for some random girl. And all this was on the date of his birthday celebration.
No, there won't be a second chance, Oliver thought to himself as he poured a huge dose of the drug into the bottle.
It was tempting to say that Felix flew too close to the sun, but he was actually the sun himself. So dazzlingly bright and inviting. It was all the others who were too close to him in the rays of his destructive splendor and the hopes of living the same incredible life as his that endlessly flew up and burned. Besides, it was the middle of the night in Saltburn, so the allegory would be completely missed. However, in addition to those infamous wings, Daedalus created something else - the labyrinth of Knossos, where the Minotaur dwelled and suggested a horror, devouring beautiful young men.
Which meant that Icarus was destined to die anyway from the creation of Daedalus.
The dark antlered silhouette followed the winged youth with the confidence of a predator.
By stepping into this labyrinth, carefree Icarus himself signed the verdict of his fate.
* * *
It still seemed to you that all this was a terrible foggy ill dream from which you still could not wake up from. The scream that Felix had been found with was still ringing in your ears sometimes.
It had been a few days now, and you still couldn't believe that he was gone. No matter what, he was an angel. Childishly selfish, but still generous, open-hearted and always ready to help and support. You remembered his costume at the party and smiled bitterly. Really an angel. And even more so now.
You were so regretful that you didn't speak to him again that night. Were so sorry that you went to bed early and didn't see much. That you never knew that Felix and Farleigh were taking some drugs that night, to the point it was too much and too late, and Farleigh was anyhow to blame for it and he couldn’t save him. That you couldn’t save him.
You went into Oliver's room, but he hadn’t come yet. While waiting, you began to walk around the room, and suddenly saw a book by his bedside table, your birthday present. You sat down on the bed, picked up the book and began to look at it again. Icarus with golden wings, falling away from the sun. You ran your finger over the gold embossed cover. Tears welled up your eyes. Gods. You started crying uncontrollably, hot tears dripping right onto the cover of the book. Gently throwing the book on the bed, you buried your face in your hands and bent over in sobs.
"Y/N, what are you..." Oliver came into the room and rushed to hug you.
"Ollie... the book... I..." you spoke barely legibly through sobs. He began to calm you gently, squeezing you tightly in his arms, "I'm here, my darling, everything is fine."
He wish he could take away this pain that you were experiencing right now, but it was impossible to take away what he had caused himself. Yet he was sincerely comforting you, hugging and kissing you in the most caring way possible, "I'm here and I'll always be there, no matter what happens, you'll be safe and sound with me," his whispering was hot and assuring.
Oliver used to think that there was nothing better than the feeling when you comforted him. However, the way you looked at him with your eyes full of tears, trustfully snuggling closer, searching for his support and his consolation, it turned out to be a feeling on a completely different level. The way you needed him, him and no one else. And only he could grant you any relief. At that moment, he felt that he was close to the deity. Your personal deity.
And Oliver was ready to arrange a hundred more accidents to experience this feeling again.
A hundred? This was, of course, too much. But it was in his power to do a couple more.
He took a deep breath of your scent, burying his nose deeper into your hair and holding you closer. Besides, Saltburn looked like a lovely place for your future shared happily ever after.

“We’re parents? Like actually parents?”
Tumblr media
No warnings really… pregnancy ig if that’s a trigger
You sat on the bathroom floor. The cold tiles sending chills throughout your body, the pregnancy test on the counter sat there. Your period was late. You hadn’t told Auston mostly because you just realized it that day but you also didn’t want to freak him out, he already had so much going on during off season. Training and planning for the season to start, it was a lot and the last thing you wanted to do was stress him out. You were shaking, praying for a good outcome but you didn’t know what a good outcome was. Auston and you always talked about getting married first before having kids. That’s just the way you were raised and how you pictured your future. Starting a family was one of your biggest dreams and you had expressed it many times with him but with his career and everything going on for him, he wanted to wait a few more years. On the other hand you wouldn’t mind having a mini you or a mini him running around playing floor hockey until you were confident enough to get them in skates, imagining Auston as a dad made your heart ache longingly for those days but you had no idea how Auston would react to it being so soon. You looked down at your phone. The 3 minute timer rang loudly in your ears and you slowly stood up. Grabbing the packaging you peeled the wrapper back revealing two pink lines. Your breath was caught in your throat. You felt nauseous and shaky. Quiet sobs left your mouth but you covered your mouth because you knew you wouldn’t be able to stop once the crying really started. Your mind started racing with every outcome, truthfully you were happy but god you were terrified what Auston would think. You put the pregnancy test back in the box and threw it in the trash grabbing a wad of toilet paper and throwing it in to cover it. Auston wasn’t too observant thankfully. You knew he’d never look in the trash can and it bought you some time to think about how you would break the news to him.
You washed your hands and wiped your eye’s making yourself look presentable. It was almost 5 and he’d be home from playing golf with Mitch and Willy. Walking out of the bathroom and making your way downstairs you saw Auston pull into the driveway. You watched as the three piled out of the car grabbing their gear out of the back, you sat at the bar scrolling through instagram trying to distract yourself. The front door opening letting the warm Arizona air drift in.
“Hey baby how did the golfing go?” You asked not looking up from your phone.
“Absolutely crushed these goons.” He said laughing. He walked over lightly grabbing the side of your face, planting a kiss to your temple grabbing a beer from the fridge. Your anxiety was through the roof at this point and he knew something was up.
“Man I don’t even care, I’ve won the last 3 games buddy I just let you win this time.” Mitch said throwing his hat on the dining room table. “Sauce me a beer will ya?” Everyone was gathered around the bar at this point chatting and talking about their game mostly making fun of each other laughing.
“Mitch no one likes a sore loser bud.” Willy said cracking the beer open taking a long sip.
“I’m not a sore loser I’m just saying I won the last 3 times. This one win doesn’t mean anything.” You couldn’t help but laugh at their childish banter.
“Baby you want a drink?” Auston asked grabbing a white claw from your side of the drink fridge.
“Oh I’m okay! I’m not thirsty.” You said giving him a small smile, finally looking at him he gave you a weird look putting the drink back in the fridge. He went on with his conversation with the boys who were completely oblivious to the slight tension between you two.
You got up from the bar area heading back up to your room. Auston’s eyes not leaving your figure walking up the marble stairs, you could feel his eyes burning into the back of your head. You laid in your bed with Felix staring at the ceiling, you were so exhausted you slowly drifted off to sleep.
You woke up to it being pitch dark outside and a warm spot from where Felix was laying beside you. You checked your phone and checked the time, 9:55pm, “holy shit y/n… 5 hours?” You rolled your eyes slightly annoyed with yourself for sleeping so long. You definitely weren’t getting any sleep tonight. You got up from the bed walking into the bathroom to brush your teeth and at least get ready for the night and the trash can was spilled onto the floor. Felix had a tendency to go through the trash can and you were mentally punching yourself for not shutting the door this morning. Horror filled your mind as you realized the pregnancy test was missing.
“Fucking hell Felix!” You whispered under your breath. You were certain Auston was probably taking a night swim or watching tv downstairs. All you had to do was find Felix and get the test before Auston could find it. You tiptoed downstairs and found him sitting on the couch watching TV. His back was facing towards you. Felix’s head perked up from the couch, Auston didn’t move and neither did you.
“You wanna talk about it?” His voice was raspy. You could tell he had been crying and your heart broke at the sound of it.
He finally turned around holding the test. His face showed no emotion. Slowly walking towards him the tears started streaming down your face again.
“Auston I didn’t mean to hide it from you I swear. I - I just needed time to process it, I was going to tell you I swear.” Your voice wash shaky and small, he lightly grabbed your wrists bring you down to his lap. His eyes were glossy and his lips curved into a slight smile.
“Y/n I love you with my whole entire being God I can’t even imagine my life without you. I know we weren’t planning this but I’m ready to be a dad if you’re ready to be a mom. I want to grow old with you, I want to raise a little family, teach our kids how to skate, how to play hockey.” He was crying and his words made you cry as well. His hands travelled from your hips to your tummy. His tattooed hand rested onto your tummy lightly rubbing it. Your cheeks were on fire. The feeling of everything was so surreal.
“Auston we’re gonna be parents now…like actual parents!” Tears still poured out of your eyes but a wide smile spread across your face. He placed a kiss on your forehead placing it against yours. “You know I kind of guessed it earlier.” A cocky grin was plastered on his tear stained face. You rolled your eyes.
“Oh yeah? How’s that?” You asked now playing with the chain around his neck.
“You refused a white claw for starters and I know when you start your period and it’s been a week since you usually start. I put two and two together and when Felix brought the test to me it just confirmed it.”
“I’m mildly impressed that you pieced that together.” He just laughed. Lifting your chin up and kissing you. He scanned your features. He was so lucky and he knew it.

"Can my life just go smoothly for one day?" Felix groans to himself, when he sees the long lineup outside his cafe. He greets the customers, smiling at them before heading behind the counter and into the kitchen. There he sees Leeknow with an apron and gloves on.
And the employees frantically packing orders, running around to get them all packed.
"Hyung."
"Oh, yongbookie, it's a disaster over here."
"I can see that," he says walking over to one of the ovens. "When did it stop working?"
"About 2 hours ago," Leeknow replied, handing 3 boxes to an employee. "It's been giving us trouble since morning and finally decided to stop working."
"Alright, I'll put a new order in," Felix says, putting an apron on. "Meanwhile, I'll help."
The next few hour breezes through and customers get their orders, leaving happy and content. It made that line a lot shorter and now, only a few were left. "Thank you for choosing Bbokkari cafe," Felix said with a smile, giving a customer her coffee and the slice of cake she had ordered.
He lets out a breathe, finally able to breathe for a few seconds before another customer comes in front of him. "Hi, what can I ge-" his smile falters a bit seeing the person in front of him.
Holy shit. It's you. The woman Felix had been gushing over for the past month. The moment you set foot in the cafe for the first time, he was a goner. Leeknow and the guys teased him about it but he knew they meant well. You had long wavy hair, sitting just below your breasts.
Oh god, your breasts.
They were round, full and very sexy. Felix had never been a boob guy but after seeing you.....
"Felix?"
And god, your ass. What he wouldn't give to squeeze just once-
"Felix!"
"Huh?" He snaps his head to his left to see Leeknow with a worried expression.
"You okay there, buddy?" Leeknow asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Was he though? He turns his head back to you and smiles. "The usual?"
"Yes, please. I'm surprised you remembered."
He smiles. "Yeah, I tend to remember a few orders for our regulars."
You smile and time almost stops for him. "Can I also get a BLT on a bagel?"
"Sure thing. That'd be $15.75."
You hand him the money with the change.
"Your order will be ready shortly," he says before telling another employee to cover for him at the till so he can take a quick break. He goes in the back, and out the back door. He lets out a low groan, runs a hand through his long blonde hair. "Fuck me, why of all days today is the one she turns up?"
"Yah."
Felix jumps at the voice and turns around. "Hyung, I'll be right in. I just need a minute."
"That's fine and all but shouldn't you be asking her out already?"
"Leeknow hyung, please not righ-"
"Look, I came here with a message, not to disturb your moment."
"A message?"
"She's asking for you."
********************************************************
"I'm sorry, what?" Felix stares at his crush, trying to understand what you just asked him. "You want me to what?"
"Teach me to bake," you say.
"But why?"
You sighed. "Because I need to teach someone a lesson."
"By learning how to bake?" He asks.
"Look," you began. "I can pay you, just teac-"
"You don't need to pay me," he says, cutting you off. "Let me get this straight. You want to learn how to bake to teach someone a lesson? What, you going to poison the cookies?"
"No," you shake your head. "Put enough laxatives in it so he doesn't bother me again."
Bother? Was someone bothering you? This made Felix's blood boil. He wanted to find the person and show him a piece of his mind. He doesn't like the fact that you're being harassed. He had to know who it was.
"Boyfriend?"
"More like an ex-boyfriend," you scoffed. "He won't leave me alone so I told him I would bake him his favorite cookies and that kind of helped with him not bothering me as much." Your phone rings in her hands and groans when you looked.at the screen. "Speak of the devil....."
"Is that him?"
"Yeah, the fucker can't take a no for an answer," you take a deep breath, slides your finger across the screen and screams, "DICKWADDDDDDDD!"
It startles everyone in the staff room, including Leeknow. You hang up the call. "Sorry, I just needed that."
"It's quite alright," Felix says chuckling. "I'll help you."
"Really?" Your eyes suddenly shine.
"On one condition."
"Sure. What is it?"
He smiles. "What's your name?"
You blink before breaking out in a soft laugh and it makes his heart jump. "It's Y/N."
------------------------------------------------------------
You had exchanged numbers with Felix and had been texting each other for a few days. He has been really sweet to you and you appreciated it. He had told you to watch a few youtube videos on baking and also told you to study it so that when he questions you later, you'd have an answer.
But he never pressured you. He made you feel comfortable, even if it was via texting.
F: so, which do you like better: cookies or brownies?
Y/N: hmm thats a toughie but I'm leaning more towards brownies....
F: ooo good choice!
Y/N: you think so?
F: yes! its perfect actually because i was about to as you if you wanted to come over sometime so I can teach you how to make brownies
Y/N: sure, just let me know what date and time
A few days later, you were standing in front of his apartment. You knocked and immediately the door opens to reveal a younger looking man with black short hair. "Hyung? Are you expecting company?" He calls out and you could only smile.
"Yes I am," you hear Felix say as he comes up behind rhe other. "Oh, Y/N."
"Hey."
"I.N.-ah, it's okay. She's a friend," Felix assures the younger one.
"Nice to meet you, noona. I'm Jeongin," Jeongin smiles, his eyes almost closing.
"Likewise," you say smiling.
"I'll see you later, hyung!" Jeongin says, smiling at Felix.
"Just remember what I told you, bro. Just go for it, yeah? Who knows, she may like you back."
Jeongin blushes, scratching the back of his neck. You wanted to pinch his cheeks because he was adorable. "Aish, hyung."
Felix chuckles. "Jib-e musahi docha (get home safely)."
"Ne, hyung." Jeongin leaves and you step inside the apartment.
"Whoa. It's like stepping in cinnamon," you say when the sweet aroma filled your nostrils as you took your shoes off.
"I hope you're ready because we're going to be making cookies today." Felix rolls his sleeves up and something about it makes your throat dry and you cough. "Want something to drink? Water? Juice? Tea? Coffee?"
"Just water, thanks."
As he's getting you a glass of water, you take the opportunity to observe his apartment. "Nice place." There were a few paintings hanging on the walls, white and grey accents everywhere, including the grey couch sitting nicely in front of the TV.
"Thanks. I had to fight my friend, Channie hyung for this place," he replied, coming back with the glass of water and handing it to you. "He wanted me to have his apartment as it's a bit bigger than this one."
"Why did he want you to have the bigger apartment?" You asked, taking a sip of water.
He gives you a smile. "Channie hyung is the oldest out of all of us so he tends to be a bit selfless towards us."
"Ah."
"So, you ready?"
"Yes, let's bake."
Over the next two hours, Felix teaches you the basics of baking. You're covered in flower as you scoop out the chilled cookie dough and scooping it out on a cookie sheet. "Now, you can sprinkle a bit of salt and put a few chocolate chips on top of each one. It will make the cookie taste so much better."
You do as he says and pop the cookie sheet into the oven. You start tackling the messy kitchen but he stops you. "You made the cookies. Now it's my turn to clean."
"Thanks."
30 minutes later, the kitchen was clean and the cookies were done. "Here," he hands you a cookie.
You smile and bite into the cookie. "Oh my god."
"Good?"
You nod your head, cheeks full of cookie. "Very good."
"Good." He then notices a crumb on the corner of your lip. "Ah, you've got a little..." He gestures the area on his face.
But you wipe the wrong side and look at him for affirmation. He shakes his head and wipes it himself. His fingers on your lips. It send a jolt down your spine. Both of you freeze, looking at each other.
But he breaks the ice first, retracting his hand back and clears his throat. "Right. Well, you're more than welcome to take some home of you'd like."
"Thank you." He gives you a container box and you help yourself to a few cookies. "So, when do we learn brownies?"
"That eager already?"
You giggle. "Just want to get him off my back."
"Right. How does next Saturday sound?"
------------------------------------------------------------
It's Wednesday and you can't wait till Saturday, partly because you wanted to see Felix. The long blonde hair with the round framed spectacles really did it for you as you watched him smile at customers. You felt the need to kiss him.
You blink back to reality. "Did I just say I wanted to kiss him?" You whisper to yourself. A knock on the window beside you had you double take and you wanted to run. Why the fuck was he here? You watch as he comes inside and walks over to you. "Well, if it isn't Y/N."
"What are you doing here?" You asked, already annoyed.
"I'm here to visit my favorite girl."
You wanted to gag. "How did you know I was here?"
"Oh come on. You should know that by now," he says sitting on the chair in front of you. "You should be familiar with how I work."
"Wait," you were angry once your brain clicked. "Are you stalking me?"
"Ding ding ding! Mathew Bradson never misses."
"Mathew, we broke up months ago. Why are you still after me?!"
"Because," Mathew says, his smile faltering and leaning in a bit. "You are mine."
"You're crazy," you stand up and take 2 steps when he grabs your wrist and yank. Hard enough for a sharp pain to go through your arm.
"Mathew, please. Let go. You're hurting me," you plead, trying not to cause attention.
"Not until you say you'll come back to me."
"Mathew, let go!" The pain was too much for you so you started crying and trying with all your might to free your arm.
By now, people in the cafe have started looking as well as the employees. "Let go!"
He yanks on your arm again and you cry out in pain. "Let go," comes a deep voice behind you.
You turn to see Felix walking over, with a hard expression on his face. "Piss off. This is between me and my girlfriend."
"Mate, I said. Let," Felix said as he frees your arm with a forceful tug. "Go."
Mathew laughs. "Oh, Y/N. You got yourself a new dog. Tell me, does he make you feel good as I have?"
You hold your left arm to your chest, a dull ache radiating through your muscles. "Fuck off."
Mathew takes a step toward you but Felix stands in front of you, blocking him. "I advise you to leave."
"Or what?" Mathew asks.
"Before the cops get here," Felix adds.
Mathew scoffs and stomps his way out. Felx turns to you. "Are you okay?"
You nod, wincing from the pain. "I think I pulled a muscle when he grabbed my arm." You blink as he grabs your other arm, walking behind the counter and into the kitchen.
"Wait here," Felix tells you. Your eyes wander around the kitchen. Two employees in maroon aprons are packing orders while another one, with a sharp nose is making flowers on a cake. "Here," you hear Felix say once he comes back with what seems to be an ice pack in his hand as he gently grabs your now injured arm and places the ice pack on it. You hiss, wince at the sudden coldness on your skin. "You good?"
You look up and your eyes go wide. Holy shit, his freckles. They're spread across his nose and upper cheeks. Beautiful.
"Sorry?" He says, confused.
Oh shit, did I say that out loud? "Yeah, I'm good. It's just cold."
"Does it hurt?"
You could see the worry in his eyes so you smile. "The ice is helping, Felix. Thank you."
His furrow eyes relax and you readjust the ice pack on your wrist. "Your ex sure is a piece of work."
"Ugh, don't even get me started."
Felix chuckles. "Doesn't look like-" He stops as he peeks at the front of the cafe. "-he's going away."
"What?" You turn around and gasp. "What the fuck?" You walk to the front and push him back, wincing slightly at the pain your wrist gives you. "You have some nerve!"
"Y/N, baby please," Matthew pleads. "I'm sorry."
You turn to Felix, who looks at you. "Fuck it." Using your hand, you grab him by his neck and pull him down.
"Y/N, what-" his words get cut short when you whisper 'sorry' before pulling him down more and placing your lips on his. A bunch of gasps go around the cafe along with a few whistles.
He tastes like cinnamon and sunshine. His hands rest on your waist as he starts moving his lips against yours. It feels like you're in heaven. You suddenly don't want to care about 15+ eyes watching the two of you kiss. But it had to be stopped, to get Matthew off your back.
You finally pull back, your cheeks red and his eyes dark, cloudy with something you can't really put a word on. "What the fuck, Y/N? Are you fucking this guy?!"
You turn around again. "Why, is that a problem?" You say crossing your arms.
"But we're - Y/N, how could you-"
Felix grabs your hand, pulling you behind him. Now he stands in front of your ex. You could only blink.
"Look, bro, I'm talking to my girlfri-"
"If you have something to say to my girl, you can say it to me."
Mathew looks at Felix, seeming a bit scared. "Y-your girl?"
"Got a problem with that?"
You almost want to laugh at Matthew's face. He gives you a glare to only be blocked by Felix's body, his back staring at you. "Have fun with her baggage."
After your ex leaves, you notice the people are still staring. "I apologize for the sudden intrusion so, I'm giving everyone cookies of your liking on the house!" Everyone around you started cheering and a few whoop whoop as he finally turns to you. The kiss from before replays in your head and heat rushes to your cheeks. "You okay?"
The softness in his voice makes your insides warm. "Yes, thank you," you nod.
"You two really put a show," Leeknow said from behind you, making you jump.
"Ah, I'm sorry! I didn't know he would come here," you said feeling extremely bad.
Leeknow waves his hands. "Don't worry about it. Atleast he's off your back."
He was right. Hopefully this was the last time of Matthew's appearance.
"Thank you," you say to Felix, who smiles back at you. You look at your watch and panic sets it. "Shit! I'm late for my best friend's wedding rehearsal! We still good for Saturday?"
"Yeah," Felix gives you thumbs and watches you leave.
"You have got it bad."
Felix rolls his eyes. "Shouldn't you be doing something?"
Leeknow raises hands, surrendering, not wanting to argue since the cafe was now packed.
But deep down, Felix knew he did it have it bad for Y/N. The kiss would help definitely help him when he's in bed tonight, his right hand under the blanket with the thoughts of how your lips would feel on his-
"Order for Lia!" The voice behind him brings him back to reality. He shakes his head and goes back in the kitchen to make himself busy and not think about you.
------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday rolled around and Felix was more than nervous. Maybe he should reschedule? Tell you some nonsense excuse because he couldn't stop thinking about the kis-
His phone buzzing snapped him back to reality.
Y/N: hey, what time am i coming to your apartment?
F: 7
Y/N: is it okay if i bring the cookies i baked?
F: you baked?!
Y/N: lol yeah idk if they turned out good?
F: i'll be the judge of that
Y/N: hehe okay see you in a bit
A couple of hours later, you were knocking on Felix's apartment, with a small container in your hands. The door swings open driving you away from your thoughts to see a smiling blonde haired Felix smiling. "Come in!" He steps aside as you step inside, immediately taking off your hoodie and your shoes.
"Sorry about the mess, my friends just left," he said gesturing to the mess in the kitchen.
"Oh," you say, observing the litter. "You want help?"
"No, it's-"
"Felix!" A feminine voice comes from your left and out comes a woman. A pretty one at that. "Oh. I didn't know you had company."
Was this his girlfriend? You felt like you were intruding.
You hear him sigh. "Y/N, this is my roommate."
"And best friend," she smiles at you. "Wait, Y/N? This is her?"
Felix couldn't believe that his best friend was about to expose him. "Don't you have a date to get to?" He asked, annoyed.
His roommate rolls her eyes. "You know you could say you want to be alone but okay," she says as her phone rings. "Okay. Hyunjin is here." She picks up a duffle bag and walks over to the door. "I'll be gone for a couple of weeks so," she turns and grins at Felix, "the apartment's all yours till then." With a wink, she walks out.
Felix sighs. "Sorry about her. She isn't usually like this but..."
"It's okay, really. She seems nice." You felt a pang in your chest but shook it off.
"She really is," he said eith a smule and you couldn't help the sudden rage building up inside you. "She's dating one of my best friend so I'm really happy for her."
You hum in response but the smile on his face made your heart hurt for some reason. He faces you, his smile falters a bit. "Are you okay?"
"Huh?" You blink. "Yeah. I'm fine."
But you weren't fine. You don't know what's gotten into you lately. Ever since the incident at the cafe, your thoughts were filled with the kiss. You wanted to kiss him again. You had to tell yourself that kiss was just for show, to get Matthew to back off from you. Which did help. You hadn't seen or heard Matthew at all since then.
"Are you sure you're alright?" Felix asked, placing cocoa powder on the counter.
"Yes." You follow his instructions to make brownie batter and as you're mixing the batter by a hand whisk, you involuntarily wipe your your mouth. "Is this the right consistency?"
He stands beside you, checking the batter. "Yes. That's the right consis-" Felix stops mid sentence when he looks at you and laughs softly.
"What?"
"You got a little flour," he points to his mouth. You wipe your mouth and look at him for confirmation. "Here, let me," he shuffles closer, raising his hand to wipe of the flour. You just stared at him, in awe of his beauty and those freckles of his made you want to kiss him.
Kiss him. Kiss him. Kiss him!
You start leaning in when the oven timer sets off, breaking the two of you apart. "That's the oven. Let's pour the batter into the pan."
"Right." You pick up the bowl ans carefully pour the batter into a baking pan.
"Make sure not to over fill it as it won't be fully baked," Felix adds. You fill the pan halfway and move onto the next one. "There you go. You're a pro."
Leaving a little of the brownie batter in the bowl, you happily shake the baking pans to get out any air before popping them in the oven. "How many minutes?" You asked, dipping a finger the leftover batter.
"About 25 minutes then we'll check it with a toothpick."
25 minutes later....
You place the hot pan on a cooling rack. "Now we leave it for 10 minutes till it's cooled down enough to cut and eat," Felix explained.
"Perfect, I'm going to eat the rest of the batter in the meantime," you excitedly say, grabbing the bowlon the counter. He chuckles at you as you dip a finger in lick it clean. Something about the gesture made him readjust his jeans.
Not now. He groans and scrolls on his phone trying to get you off his mind. But you call him and he looks up. "Yeah?"
"Can you tell me if I have any on my face?" She asked.
He scans your face and lands on the corner of your lips. "Yeah, just here," he points to his face again.
You wipe it, once again, on the wrong spot. You watch him walk over to you and wipe it off for you. Kiss him. Your eyes close again, filling you with his scent. Kiss him. "There," he takes a step back but you grab his shirt, stopping him. You had to know, confirm it. You yank him down, just like you did at the cafe and his eyes widen.
This time you didn't say 'sorry' and place your lips on his. This time, there wasn't an audience watching you so you slide your hand towards his neck. It makes him pull away. "Y/N," he whispers your name, searching in your eyes for an answer.
"Felix just," you gulp. "Kiss me."
He searches your eyes for answer. For confirmation? But what for? You just told him to kiss you. "Please."
His eyes harden, clouded with lust as he pulls you closer, his hand at the nap of your neck and kiss you. Your lips move against his as your wrap your arms around his neck while his hands rest on your hips. A whimper escapes you while he groans into your mouth. His arms travel to your ass cheeks and under your hips, lifting you to the kitchen island. He nestles himself in between your legs when you pull away.
“Shouldn’t we take this to the bedroom?”
But he doesn’t give you a chance to respond. His lips are back onto yours, a soft mewl escaping you as you reach up, curling your fingers around his shirt to pull him tight to you. His hands move up and down your arms till they grip around your waist. A groan spills from his throat when you change the angle, deepening the kiss and wrapping your legs around him.
One of his hands trails up your thigh to touch you, to brush at your most tender flesh. He moves to slip it into your underwear, when you grab his arm, stopping him. "What....what is it?"
"Sorry," you pant, gulping. "It's been....a while since I..."
"Hey," Felix tips your chin up, your eyes looking in his. "You say the word and it stops."
You look at him and you found no reason to stop. You didn't want him to stop, not when he's making you feel this good. Your tummy was doing somersaults and you wondered if it was because you were wanting whatever it was between the two of you, as much as him.
Felix couldn't believe his eyes that you kissed him. And now his hands were on top of your thighs. Fuck, he thought. He really wanted to pull off your jeans but he wanted you to confirm it, to take things further.
"Felix," you say, cupping his cheek with your hand. "Take me to bed."
Felix dips down to kiss your throat. “I've waited too long for this moment. I don't think I can wait any longer." You give him a nod, Felix lifts his head to grin, kissing you quickly before ripping off his shirt. “Let's take this off please.” His hands shove at the hem of your shirt.
The shirt is then pulled off of you, his mouth right back on yours the moment your uncovered skin hits the cool air. With a pant, you pulled away slightly, your noses rubbing against each other’s. “Felix..."
He pulled back with a pained groan. “Y/N, damn, I want to, I wanna do this right. I want to take you out on a date and-”
“Me too, I know," you lick your dry lips, "but right now, I need you," you pleaded, your eyes searching his. "Don't you?"
Humans are humans, right? He couldn’t resist such temptation, and the fact that you were literally begging him to have his way with you. He saw it in your eyes, crystal clear.
“My pretty baby.” He unclasp your bra, letting your breasts free. "Damn, if I only knew...," He trails his lips down your jaw and throat, burning a path to your chest. Your fingers plunge in his hair when he circles each nipple briefly with his tongue before continuing down and down. Until he hovers over your jeans and you almost lose your damn mind.
Unbutoning your jeans, he shoves your torso until you’re lying on your back so he can lift your hips to pull the clothing item down, along with your panties.
When he has you naked, he looks down at you, laid out on the island for him. “Fuck, I've imagined this before but to have it in real life....fuck me I want to devour you, baby.”
You swallow, belly clenched with anticipation. “Then do it."
But he backs away from you, confusing you. "Felix, wha-" Your eyes widen when he reaches for the bowl that had the leftover brownie batter. He dips his fingers inside and hovers it as a stream of batter flows down from his fingers to your belly, between your legs and you gasp, as you felt the brownie batter on your skin, your clit. Making sure there's enough on you, he hums in satisfaction before setting the bowl back.
He comes back and you gasp as he bends forward to take you in his mouth. His tongue darts out licking the batter making your squirm, your hand fly back to his hair as your hip bucks up. You feel his tongue dart out again, trailing zigzagging lines against you. A moan escapes you, your back arching as Felix continues to drive you toward pleasure. His mouth moves down to your entrance, tongue dipping in, licking the remnants of the brownie batter and pressing at the edges of your walls, before his fingers replace it.
"Oh....fuck," you manage to say.
He starts with one, quickly entering another and curling it, searching for the most delicate spot, that will have you cumming and crying his name. He watched your expression as he finds it, your face in a silent 'O' while he pushes you towards your breaking point. "Felix, I'm gonna-"
“Cum for me baby, give it to me.” His teeth sinking into your thigh sends a jolt of pain into your pleasure, before he moves, his mouth closing around you again.
"Oh-" Your vision blurs, your eyes rolling back as your climax barrels through you. Everything blacks out for a few seconds. You hear Felix cooing at you, stroking your arm as you come back to reality.
“Just like that, baby. You're so good to me," he mouths kisses into your thighs, across your pubic bone, over your expanding abdomen as you catch you breath. You lift a weak hand to his cheek, cupping it. "There you are. How's my princess doing?”
“Hmm." You could only muster up a hum, throat hoarse from gasping his name earlier.
“Yeah?" He asks and you nod. "Good.” He then kisses his way up to your face. “That was okay?”
"More than okay," you beam at him and yelp when he took you by surprise by sliding you off the counter, his arms secured around and under your butt cheeks and hoisting you up, making you squeal in surprise. The rumble of his soft laugh vibrates through you as you crossed your legs behind his back.
You didn’t know how he managed to walk with you in his arms while he kissed you and made his way to the bedroom. He kicks the door open and walks towards the bed. You land with an oof when he throws you on it, bouncing a bit on the mattress with a surprised gasp and stared at him with doe eyes as his hand go to the back of the neck towards his shirt and pulls it off with such ease, and throwing it on the floor.
Felix sees you looking at his abs so he clenched his stomach, decided to give you a show.
“See something you like?” he teases you, smirking, as he watches you stare deeply at his tummy. "You want a picture?" He joked.
Your eyes snap up meeting his and you let your head fall onto your shoulder. “Very much," you bit your lip.
Smirking, he moves his hand ever so slowly to the belt of his jeans, unfastening it torturously slow and finally discarding it. The he crawls up to you and put his hands on each side of your head, smiling down at you for a few seconds before dipping his head to catch your lips into a kiss.
Your hands cup his cheek, trying to get him to drop his weight on top of you and he obliges, pressing his hips first so that you could feel his bulge pressing against your crotch, making both of you groan loudly.
“You’re so beautiful” he mumbled against your skin. He then licks a certain spot on under your ear but moves down to your neck for a bite, making your arch your back. “So, so beautiful.”
You lock eyes with him, as his dropped down immediately to your chest, noticing how they were black and perky at this point from lust. You suddenly felt nervous under his gaze and you couldn’t help but say something.
His eyes fluttered a couple of times as he looked down at you. “What?” he mumbled, confused.
But you shake your head. "Just, keep doing what you're doing. It feels good."
He groans, hiding his face into your neck, kissing and nipping at your skin, and his mouth started to slide further down your body again, leaving dark purple marks on your skin, but you couldn't be bothered to mind it. Not one bit.
You watch as his mouth stops and hovers over your chest as his hands enveloped each one and squeezing lightly, making you shudder and whine.
Felix bit a spot right above your left breast and then pressed your breasts together. He was lossing his mind. He brings back the bowl and dips his finger before leaving a trail of the liquid around your nipples. And you couldn't think, couldn't form words as his lips suckle and bite at your nipples. "Hmmm, so fucking good," he says when he hears you moan.
“Lix, please,” you whined, pressing the back of your head against the pillow.
He suckled once and lifted his head to stare at you. “What do you want, baby? Use your words,” he asked in a whisper.
You swallowed and propped yourself on your elbows, staring at him with a soft panting. “I want you to fuck me," you tell him firmly.
"As you wish," he says, his hands grab your thighs and gently pull them apart, sending you a wink and a little smile, reassuring you it was okay. He lifts himself off you to take his boxers off. The bulge in his boxers made you whimper and your eyes wide. He smirks at your expression, hooking his fingers in the waistband and pulling them down his legs, standing fully naked in front of you.
He wastes no time and crawls back on top of you, claiming your mouth in a kiss full of tongue and heavy breathing. You moaned, grabbing his arm with one hand and the other one pressed against his chest as he settles between your legs.
The hand on his chest drifted down to his pelvis, curling around his erection, making him groan and bite your lip. "I need to be inside you. I can't hold back anynore."
You nodded and smiled when he pressed a kiss on your cheek. “Condom?” you asked.
Pulling away, he stuck his arm out to his nightstand, pulling out a condom from the first drawer. Then lifting himself up slightly, he rolla the condom on his cock and settles back between your legs, snug and warm.
The tip of his cock nudges your entrance, making you gasp and dig your nails on his shoulders. "Breathe," his nose brushes against yours as he slides inside you catching you off guard, swallowing your gasp with a kiss.
He bottoma out, giving you a couple of seconds to adjust to his thick length. “Fuck” he whispered, pressing his face against your neck and moves his hips back before snapping forward. “Fuck, you’re so tight,” he groaned.
You moaned with every thrust, your nails raking his back. “Oh, God,” you gasped, feeling so full and overwhelmed but in the best way possible.
His hips were now moving steadily as his mouth enveloped yours, trying to hold the urge to slam his hips against yours. One of his hands went to one of your breasts, gripping it tightly. You cry out as his thumb slides over your nipple.
“Lix, you can go faster,” you urged him, and it was enough for him to grab your thigh, pulling it around his waist and fucking you deeper and faster, the sound of skin slapping on skin invading the room in a constant echo. “Oh fuck- yes! Don't stop."
“You’re so damn beautiful. All mine.” he whispered against your lips before claiming your mouth with a kiss.
“All yours, Felix. Take me,” you gasp when you feel his fingers start to rub circles on your clit, trying to get you closer to your orgasm as you thrash your head to right and left. “Lix, I’m close, so fucking close.”
“I need you to come with me, princess,” he said grunting as he licks your throat and then bites your skin. You clench around him, liking the action a bit too much. “God, you’re so tight but so right,” he babbled.
You arched your back as the orgasm rush through you in a hot wave across your body, making you moan and curl your fingers on his bicep, digging his nails against the skin.
Felix buries his face into your neck as he thrusts hard a few of times before spilling his seed inside the condom with a moan muffled against your skin. His body shook with aftershocks from the earth-shattering orgasm as he felt his body go limp and fall against yours.
You wrapped your arms around him as you both tried to regain your breathing. Felix lifted his head up and looked down at you, his eyes searching yours. He smiled, pressing his mouth yours in a tender kiss.
"So," he begins, a blonde strand falling from his shoulder. "When can I take you on a date?"
You giggle. "How about we go for round two before deciding?"
------------------------------------------------------------
"Okay, what did you do, Jeongin?" Felix asked, crossing his arms.
"Nothing," Jeongin lied.
Felix narrowed his eyes at the younger man. But before he could scold Jeongin, Felix's face broke into a smile upon seeing his girlfriend approaching heir table. Jeongin watches Felix, how his eyes literally got hearts in them as Y/N bends down and gives his friend a quick kiss.
"Hey, Jeongin. Wow you look....rough," Y/N says, sitting beside Felix.
Jeongin groans and resta his arms on the table, burying his face in it.
"He's having trouble," Felix adds.
"Oh," Y/N says. "What kind of trouble?"
"Genius over here decided to ask a girl's number and now she's got him blocked," Felix replied. "You wanna tell Y/N why she blocked you?"
Jeongin lifts his head up, eye blinking at the duo in front od him. "Because I accidentally sent a picture."
"Of?"
Jeongin sighs, defeated. "My dick."
Y/N gasps, her hand on her mouth and Felix snorts. "Dude, you need to figure out how to fix your mess."
Jeongin figured as much but the question was, how?

It was already getting late, the sun having set hours before and the soft sounds of the city’s night life stirred out his bedroom window. Felix had just returned from a long day of schedules but was finding it hard to wind down now that he was left to his own devices. He had already reached out in the group chat to see if any of the members wanted to keep him company only for them to turn him down in favor of sleep, working on things in the studio, or even extra practice time which didn’t sound appealing to the blonde at this point in time. Needing something to distract himself from his idol self, Felix sat at his desk and began firing up a familiar program.
A soft lullaby-like melody began to drift into his headphones as he adjusted them on his head, quickly logging into the popular open world game as the opening theme soothed some of the restlessness he had been feeling since returning home. At first he was just going to play solo but curiosity got the better of him and he decided to pull up his friends list just to see who out of his gaming buddies might be online. To his surprise he saw one of them, a player that went by the name Starlight, on and decided to send over the co-op request.
Just as the request went through he heard the familiar chime of a call coming through on his discord. Quickly, Felix turned on his voice distortion software and answered the call with an amused smirk pulling at his lips. “Now, what are you doing up so late Star?” He questioned, listening to their laughter ring through the line. “It may be late for you but I’m actually on my lunch break at the moment, sir.” They responded in a teasing manner. He laughed sheepishly in returned. “You caught me there- was having trouble sleeping after work so I thought I’d game for a bit.”
Star hummed in understanding. “What time is it over there, like midnight right?” “Half past eleven, but you were close.” The Aussie cringed slightly at the sound of his voice echoing slightly in his ears with the distortion. For the safety of his privacy he always made sure to use a voice changer when on calls with his online friends, and never accepted video calls despite the curiosity a lot of them had as to what he looked like behind the screen. Star was one of the only ones to never push him for any photos or a video chat. He appreciated them for respecting his boundaries, though it would have been hypocritical of them since they also refused to show themselves though to his knowledge they didn’t go as far as to distort their voice in any way. “So, got anything in particular you wanna do or just sorta fuck around for a bit? I could use some help farming for Wanderer you know~” Their voice in a sing-song tone at the end. Chuckling at them, Felix agreed to help them out and quickly followed their lead in game.
About an hour later, their game cut short due to his companions lunch break ending. “Sorry bud- I’ll have to catch you some other time and I can repay the favor! You know how much I hate farming solo so this was a big help.” He could hear their smile in their voice, wearing what he assumed was a matching expression as he shrugged though he knew they wouldn’t be able to see it. “It’s no big deal, really. I’m glad we could keep each other company. I should probably head to bed myself-“ “Oh! Before I go I wanted to tell you…I’m actually going to be in your neck of the woods soon so maybe we can play some in the same timezone for once!” Felix paused for a beat. They were coming to Korea? All of his gaming buddies knew where he lived, though that and the fact he is originally from Australia was as far into his personal life as he was comfortable going with any of them.
Starlight had been one of his longest Genshin friends, having started playing around the same time as him they had met in a server for newbies to the game and hit it off quickly. The thought of them being so close was exciting yet a bit nerve wracking. Curiosity at the reason for their trip from the states to South Korea itched in his mind. “Oh really? What’s bringing you all the way to Korea?” Star squealed a litte, and he could lightly hear the sound of what he assumed was their feet tapping at the floor with excitement. “Well- I’ve been wanting to make a trip there for a while….not to sound cliche or anything but I’ve been a huge fan of kpop and kdrama since I was in like- middle school and I’ve never traveled outside of the states before so it seemed like a fun place to start.” Felix had to keep himself from choking on nothing. A fan? Of kpop- they had never mentioned this to him before in the years they had been online friends. His mind began to wonder. What groups did they like? Did they know about Stray Kids? What if they were a Stay? He felt his heartbeat quicken and reflexively put his fingers to his pulse and took a deep breath to calm himself. “Oh that’s cool! Any plans for when you get here?” He questioned, finally feeling a bit calmer. This was fine, the odds they would be stay were slim, and besides there was no way for them to know who it was they had really been playing with this whole time as he himself went through multiple precautions to hide his identity online. Then, he felt his worlds colliding with a single string of words from their lips. “Actually, yeah! One of the groups I’m a fan of is having a concert I was able to snag tickets for! Not sure if you’ve heard of them but they are pretty big these days, Stray Kids?” His eyes felt comically huge and the blonde thought he may faint. “Stray Kids?” Was all that he could muster as a response, throat suddenly very dry. “Yeah! They are like so incredibly talented. I wasn’t able to see them when they came here on tour last so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity after I finally decided to book a trip to Korea and they happened to be holding a concert at the same time. I’m so excited! But- oh i really gotta go or I’m gonna be late getting back from lunch. I’ll talk to you later okay?” Felix blinked a few times before fully registering their words. “Oh uh- yeah definitely. Talk to you later Stay- Star! Bye Star!” And with that he abruptly ended the call. Fuck. He called them Stay- hopefully they didn’t catch it in their haste to get back to work. His next conversation was sure to be interesting if they had happened to hear him….

author’s note: I’m super rusty at writing so I hope this is okay…feedback is welcome and encouraged! I started this cause it has been super slow at work and I’ve personally never read a fic having to do with reader and Felix being genshin co-op buddies and I thought it would be a fun concept (as a genshin player myself lol) Again, I hope those of you reading enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to updating soon. ᕱᕱ⊹ ࣪ ˖

I hurried down the hall, my sock-clad feet slipping across the slick wood every so often. My phone was clasped tightly in my hand, and the message was still surely lit on the screen as I approached Chan’s office door. It hadn’t been a good morning to choose to sleep in, blinking groggily as my fingers had fumbled to unlock my screen.
It was waiting for me. The text came in the late hours, after my head had finally hit the pillow. The sight of it had snapped me out of my daze instantly, waking me fully. I had thrown the blankets off me, jumped from bed, and not even spared a thought of changing out of my pajamas.
I just needed to talk to Chan.
I turned the corner, quickly halted in my spot at the sight of Minho leaning up against the door, focused on the phone in his hand.
“Move, I need to talk to Chan.” I tried to push my way past him, but he promptly stopped me by stepping into place and blocking my way.
“You can’t go in. He’s in a meeting.”
“What?” My focus snapped to him, brows furrowing. “With who?”
“No clue,” he shrugged. “But he left strict instructions not to be disturbed.”
Frustration bubbled inside me, and I took a step closer, trying to push past him again. He outstretched his arm, firmly holding me back.
“Minho, I got another text last night. I need to talk to him now.”
His eyes met mine, gazes far too close for comfort, as I tried to hold my ground.
“I understand, but it needs to wait.”
“Please, Minho,” I pushed, my voice edged with desperation. “It feels like they’re getting more threatening.”
He sighed, his gaze flickering between me and the closed doors behind him. After a moment of internal debate, he turned back to me. “Look, I get it. But he gave specific orders. I’ll make sure he knows to see you right after he gets out, okay?”
I opened my mouth to argue, but the determination in Minho’s eyes made me pause. While his stubbornness dug deep into my nerves, I couldn’t blame him entirely. He was just following his orders, no matter how agitating he was.
“Fine,” I muttered, stepping back reluctantly. “You better tell him.”
Minho nodded, finally relaxing. “I will. I promise.”
With a resigned sigh, I turned and walked away. Minho’s jest echoed after me, his teasing tone both exasperating and oddly comforting.
“Put some pants on!” He called out.
I couldn’t resist firing back, my frustration dissipating into banter as I turned on my heels, calling out as I stepped backward. “Oh please! The shirt is practically a dress. Calm down!” With a roll of my eyes, I circled back, turning the corner and leaving Minho’s chuckle in my wake as I sought someone else who might be able to assist me.
Hopping down the staircase, I peered over the railing and down the hall, sure enough seeing the exact person I was hoping for planted on the couch, fully engrossed in his laptop as usual.
“Felix! Buddy!”
He eyed me cautiously as I dropped onto the couch beside him, trying to muster up the best doe eyes I could.
“Why do I feel like you want something from me?”
“You’re just the person I wanted to see!”
“Hmm, should I be worried?” Felix teased, setting down his laptop and giving me his full attention.
“Not at all,” I replied with a grin. “I just need your genius brain to help me with something.”
“Oh, damn. You’re laying it on thick. What happened?”
“So…” I let the playful mask drop, trying to act more serious. “I got another text last night.”
His expression shifted to concern, brows knitting together. “Another one? What did it say?”
I unlocked my phone, handed it to him, and watched as he mumbled the words aloud to himself.
“That’s... Ominous,” he said, eyes narrowing as he handed the phone back. “Do you think it has anything to do with what you stirred up yesterday?”
“I feel like it has to… right? Like the timing is just too perfect.”
“Listen, I know you probably came to see if I could track the number. But I told you with the first ones, it’s a dead end.” His expression dropped as he looked at me, defeat etched across his face. “The number doesn’t lead to anything.”
I nodded, shoulders sinking in as I leaned back into the couch. “I know, but I was hoping maybe this time would be different? Like maybe if we just tried again.”
He sighed quietly, picking up his laptop and reaching for the phone. “Alright, let me see it.”
I forced a small smile, grateful for his support, as I unlocked the screen and handed it back to him.
He propped the phone against the screen, typing the number into his interface, his fingers dancing across the keyboard as he punched in commands. His brows furrowed in concentration, the only sound in the room being the clicking of keys and the occasional hum of the laptop. The two of us huddled over the computer, watching as he hopped between multiple apps, seeing if the number was connected to anything—anywhere.
After what felt like an eternity, he let out a frustrated grunt, his shoulders slumping in defeat. “Y/n, I really don’t think we’re gonna find anything.”
“What is it you're looking for?” I looked up at the sound of Chan’s voice, ready to finally update him on everything. But my words were firmly lodged in my throat at the sight of the person following him into the room, my mouth hanging open in shock.
“Jiho…” I sat up straighter as they entered, stopping to stand in Chan’s usual spot for a debrief. “What are you doing here?”
Jiho flashed a grin, tucking his hands behind him. “I just needed to speak with your leader here for a bit,” he gestured to Chan beside him. “And I had something I wanted to tell the group as well.”
I eyed Chan cautiously, hoping to see anything strange in his demeanor, but he seemed calm, almost like he was in high spirits.
“What’s going on?” I turned back to Jiho, head tilting in confusion. “Did something happen?”
“Oh no, not at all.” Jiho turned as the others slowly started to spill into the room, nodding to each of them with a smile but still speaking towards me. “It’s all good things, don’t worry.” Felix slowly closed his laptop, giving me a quick, worried glance before tucking it away.
Minho was the last to enter. He gave a brief nod to Jiho and then locked eyes with me. His eyes widened in surprise, mirroring my own.
“Shall we get started?” Chan, seemingly oblivious to the tension in the room, broke the silence with a clap of the hands, pulling everyone’s attention to him. “Jiho has something important he wants to share with us.” I leaned forward, anticipation stirring within me as Jiho cleared his throat.
I can’t say I processed a single word from my brother initially, my thoughts spiraling too loud about what could have brought him here. His words seemed to be nothing more than polite formalities, a long-winded greeting, and thank you for letting him interrupt our morning. He spoke with his hands a lot, and his gestures and expressions were more polished than I remembered. His sudden professionalism only added to my confusion, leaving me to wonder when he had undergone such a transformation, molding himself into a spitting image of our father.
“--But as you may be aware, our godfather has been away for a while.” My vision snapped into focus directly on Jiho before quickly looking over to Chan, who was definitely making sure not to look in my direction.
Oh, I heard that part crystal clear.
Jiho continued, his voice steady and authoritative, but a grin spread across his cheeks. “And he’s finally decided to return home. So, I thought in honor of our father-” My eyes fell back on Jiho, just as he gestured toward me, trying to plaster a smile on my face. “-We should host a gala, bring the family together again.” He balled his hands into two fists as if in a cheer.
I tried to maintain a facade of composure as he continued, but the forced smile on my face faltered, replaced by a sinking feeling in my stomach. Did he truly mean everyone? Was he gathering all of our father’s associates to welcome home the same man whose home I spent my day rifling through yesterday?
“So, he’s just decided to come home out of nowhere?” I blurted, cutting off Jiho as he started into his following spiel.
“Well, no. He said that now that you’re finally home, he felt it was only right for him to come back as well. Have us all together again.”
I blinked, my mind racing. “So, he’s coming back because of me?”
Jiho chuckled, slipping his hands into his pockets with a humored shrug. “Yeah, I guess you could say that. It's about time for a family reunion, don’t you think?”
I glanced at Chan, hoping for some silent reassurance, but he seemed focused, his expression unreadable. I couldn’t shake the feeling that this gala would be more than just a family reunion. It felt like a powder keg waiting to explode.
“I just wanted to deliver all of your invitations personally. A letter in the mail felt painfully detached for a happy moment like this.” He smiled at me once more as he clapped his hands together before turning back to Chan. “But I don’t believe I had much else to say besides that, so thank you for meeting with me, and-” he turned back to the group. “I’m looking forward to seeing you all there.” He gave one last smile and bow of the head before Chan followed him out.
Quickly hopping from my seat, I hurried down the hall to the foyer. The movement in the distance caught Jiho’s attention, his eyes falling on me behind Chan with a smile.
“Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?” I questioned, coming to a stop beside Chan.
Chan chuckled, giving Jiho a subtle wave. “Good to see ya, Boss. I’ll let you two talk.” He returned to the living room, leaving the two of us by the door. My head whipped around as he went, watching as his figure disappeared around the corner.
“That was weird. I didn’t like that.” I turned back to him, brow raised.
Jiho’s forehead creased as he gave a confused smile, “Weird? Why was that weird?”
“Him calling you Boss.” I gave an exaggerated grimace. “Sounds weird.”
“But I am?” He chuckled.
“Doesn’t mean it isn’t going to take some getting used to.”
“You realize you’re going to have to also get used to people calling you Boss, right?”
I let out a huff of laughter. “Okay, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.” My head cocked to the side, brows furrowed. “You still didn’t answer my question, though. Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”
“I thought this would be fun news to deliver as a surprise.” He shrugged, “I got the call from Tiger last night that he’s coming back, so I started making the preparations immediately.”
“Just last night? And you’re already planning a whole gala? Is that really necessary?”
“Of course it is. We get to show a united front. The family is together again after hardships, and everyone needs to see that our strength is still there. Plus–” His hand settled on my shoulder, his eyes falling on me earnestly. “It also gives you a taste of stepping into your role.” My stomach turned at the thought, realizing precisely which y/n he wanted to show up.
I wouldn’t be attending as a member of SKZ, but as a Choi.
“Jiho, I don’t know…” I said hesitantly, stomach churning at the different possibilities.
“It’ll be great, trust me.” Jiho reached forward, pulling me into a hug that I weakly reciprocated. “Everything’s gonna be okay, y/n. We’re gonna come back stronger than ever.”
As he pulled back and made his way down the steps, I stood in the open door, eyes narrowing on the man circling to the back of the car as he opened the door in Jiho’s approach. I focused on him carefully, and I could tell he was a different driver that I didn’t recognize, appearing as if he had hired someone new. Had Tiger, for some reason, pulled Ateez back in planning for his arrival?
I shut the door with a click, crossing my arms as I made my way back to the living room. I stopped in the doorway and stared at Chan.
“When did he get here?” My voice came out unintentionally more accusatory than curious, and I tried to relax into the doorframe, distracting from my tone.
“About an hour ago.” Chan looked less cheery now, his positive and upbeat mask finally relaxing as he took a breath that seemed to have been held since Jiho walked through the door.
“Does he know?”
“About what we’ve been doing? Doesn’t seem like it.” He sank into the cushions, head falling back as he closed his eyes. “He would have skinned me alive if he did, but he appeared to be in a great mood.”
“Well, the timing was just peachy.” I picked my phone up from the coffee table, opened the message, and held it out for Chan.
As if sensing my movements, he opened a single eye before sitting up confused, taking the phone from me and studying the screen.
“I came to show you that earlier, but you were apparently meeting with Jiho. And since we’re all here together now–”
“This came in last night?” He looked up with an arched brow as he cut me off, eyes glancing back to the screen as he read the text aloud for the rest of the group.
“And now he’s coming home,” I concluded, settling back on the couch beside Felix, leaning forward on my knees, and looking over to Chan. “And he’s going to be in a room with me, Jiho, and all of our dad’s associates.”
“You don’t think he would try anything, though?” Minho stared over Chan’s shoulder at the message with arms crossed before he looked up at me. “Not with quite literally everyone there.”
“Why didn’t you say anything to Jiho, then?” Hyunjin piped in, brows creasing in thought. “Shouldn’t he know if we’re all walking into this?”
“Because he’d know we’ve been going against his orders.” Chan’s chin settled in his hand, studying a spot on the floor in the distance as he focused. “I’m going to get back into contact with Big Bang. They’ll surely be going too, and more eyes on Tiger would be smart.”
Felix leaned back, crossing his arms. “So we’re walking into a potential trap.”
“Not necessarily a trap,” Chan replied, his voice steady and firm. “But definitely a high-risk situation.”
“So, do we just… keep an eye out and hope for the best?” Jisung asked timidly, shifting slightly in his seat.
“We’ll need to be on high alert,” Chan said. “But also subtle. We can’t let on that we’re suspicious or expecting anything.”
I sighed, rubbing my temples. “This just keeps getting better and better.”
Minho leaned forward, elbows resting on his knees, “Again, he’ll be in a room with all of his and your father’s associates. Do you really think he’d be so bold?”
“I never thought he’d be bold enough to kill my dad, but here we are.” I crossed my arms, sinking deeper into the cushions, hoping they would finally swallow me whole.
“We still haven’t confirmed that he did.” Chan held a hand up in a calming motion, attempting to keep the conversation defused. “We can’t jump to conclusions.”
“With what we found in his house, I’d say we have enough to be suspicious,” I interjected, frustration lacing my words.
“We’ll still be playing it safe,” Chan assured. “We’ll have allies in the room, and we'll be watching him closely. We won't let him catch us off guard.
Felix nodded, his expression serious. “I can modify our earpieces to be more discreet. I’ll need to know if there are cameras on the premises, if not, we can plant a few. I don’t think we have enough for full recon so I will work with whatever we’ve got.
“Go ahead and let him know I can help out too.” I added.
“I'll help you map it out.” I chimed in, leaning against the armrest. “I’ll bet you I know the exact banquet hall he’s going to use, and I wandered those halls a lot as a kid.”
Chan stood, stepping towards the hall and stopping before exiting. “Hyunjin and Jeongin, I’m going to let Jiho know you two are available for any assistance he may need with preparations. If we can get eyes on the venue beforehand, possibly plant cameras if needed. That could give us a leg up if something goes down.”
“Absolutely not. You’re not leaving this house until we’re going as an entire group. Someone has eyes on you and I don’t want to risk them isolating you before we know who it is.”
“Just say ‘you’re grounded’ if you’re gonna act like my dad.” I crossed my arms with a huff, sinking into the couch as a distant snort came from Changbin.
Chan’s lips pressed into a firm line, and his eyes met mine with a stern gaze before he turned back to address the rest of the group. “You all have a week. I’m going to go make some calls.”
“Wait, a week? Is that seriously how soon he wants to have it?” I asked, a hint of panic creeping into my voice as I whipped around in my seat to look at him.
Chan turned back for a moment, nodding his head in confirmation before glancing around the group. “So everyone better start getting ready.”
He disappeared from sight and left the group in silence, all of our minds still trying to catch up. A few of the guys had found their time to go, leaving only Jisung, Minho, Felix, and I still planted on the couches.
“Fuck, what am I going to wear?” I mumbled, my thoughts subconsciously verbalizing themselves as I crossed my arms in frustration.
“Oh! I could help you find something! We could go and make a fun day out of it.” Felix chirped, a smile spreading across his cheeks.
“You heard Chan, I’ve essentially been put on house arrest. I’ll have to find something online. As if the whole situation wasn’t stressful enough.”
Felix’s smile faltered, replaced with a look of concern as he thought of solutions.
“Maybe we can have a few dresses delivered to the house.?” Jisung chimed in, “That way, you don’t have to leave.”
“That’s honestly not the worst idea.” I thought aloud.
“And you should let me pick a few out for you. I have impeccable taste.” He raised his chin confidently, looking to Minho for support. The older man remained stoic.
“I better get to choose some too!” Felix insisted and turned to me with a broad smile.
I let out a small laugh at the two boys’ enthusiasm,  “Fine, fine. But only because the thought of picking out a dress makes me break out in hives. Nothing frilly, though. I just want something sleek and simple.”
“Deal!” Jisung exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.
Felix nodded enthusiastically, patting my knee. “We’ll have it all taken care of.”
I leaned back into the couch, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders at their reassurance. “Thanks guys, I appreciate the back up.”
“We’ve got you covered,” Felix said with a grin.
“We’ll make sure you steal the show in something sleek and sexy.” Jisung added, winking playfully. Minho’s side-eye and subtle elbow to Jisung’s side would have gone unnoticed by me if it hadn’t been for Jisung’s alarmed squeak as he looked at him with wide eyes.
“She said simple.” Minho grumbled,  “You perv.”
“I just want her to look her best! There’s nothing wrong with that!”
The conversation turned into a buzz as Jisung spit off poorly formulated excuses, while Felix wasted not a moment in retrieving his laptop and beginning the search for a dress deemed suitable. A comfortable smile settled on my face as I took in the casual banter that could survive in such a tense environment.
As Felix distracted Jisung from his ramblings with a peek at his computer screen, I let myself relax once more, feeling a slight ease of tension that had gripped me since this morning. The support of the guys provided a small but comforting refuge from any looming threats.
For a moment, the room was filled with the soft clicking of Felix’s keyboard and the hum of hushed conversations. I glanced around the room, eyes falling on Minho for a brief moment. He seemed to find the same simple joy in watching the two that I did, a soft smile playing on his lips.
As if sensing my gaze on him, his eyes met mine. His smile faltered, eyes widening slightly at the realization that he was being watched as his ears began to flush.
Before I had the ability to question his reaction, Felix’s voice cut through the moment. “How about this one?” He turned the laptop towards me, displaying a sleek, elegant dress that perfectly matched my taste.
I leaned in to get a closer look, grateful for the distraction. “That’s perfect, Lix.” Felix beamed, clearly pleased with himself. “Can I see that one?” I pointed towards a suggestion at the bottom of the screen, letting myself give in to the search.
