So about Fang and Izzy and The Hug...

Well, if there was any doubt about it before, episode 2x01 made it clear: Fang cared about Izzy and was worried about him. Not only that, my favourite part of this scene is the fact that Fang, sweet brave Fang, made a move to comfort Izzy even though at first Izzy rejected it.

It would have been easier to just ignore Izzy's distress (the poor Fang was himself worried, sad and traumatized, nobody would have blamed him) or just retreat after Izzy's 'unhand me' comment, but Fang didn't give up and kept offering him a bit of comfort, the best way he could. And oh, boy, that little angry man needed some comfort, that's for sure.

Izzy needed a hug and Izzy got a hug and when this scene dropped even before the s2 aired I was so happy to see the old fandom tags turned into an actual live-action scene that I almost couldn't believe it.
