My therapist is on maternity leave for the next few months and she was able to “let me go with a good feeling” because she thinks I’m holding up great…

It’s been about 3 weeks since my last session and I’m currently - at 12 AM on a Sunday - sitting in my room and after hours of rewatching “The Penguins of Madagascar” episodes I’ve discovered Youtube’s corner of OFMD animatics and almost cried at these roughly drawn sketches of old men experiencing varying degrees of angst.

quick poll,

I started a "season 2" animatic a year ago that I really like. It's almost done, but I've moved on to other things so I think I just want to post it now. Problem is I waited so long that actual season 2 exists, so now it's suddenly wildly canon divergent instead of just speculative.

(The song is "Thus Always to Tyrants" by the Oh Hellos)

so i made another animatic hello!! spent way too much time on it but oh well watch it on youtube!!

Apparently I made the rough thumbnails for this animatic a year ago, and I am very happy I managed to find the time and energy to finish it. Personally, I think it looks pretty darn dope ;D (though I do hope I’ll be better in the future with making my animatics sketchier so I can make more of them)

I saw a video of Con O’Neill performing this, and I thought it would work with his character in OFMD too. Definitely ended up being one of the most sad and serious animatics I’ve made recently, but I still really like how it came out. (Also, first animatic I’ve made with Procreate Dreams! Still getting the hang of it, but I much prefer it to the animation tools I’ve used in the past.)
