I remember seeing her post of Rohan and Hana's first meeting and that sparked a light in my chest... I wanted oh so badly to make Gifs as good as her... I'm getting there but we all have different styles so it'll never be exact and I know my gifs will be good in their own way 🫶

i dont understand the idea of service during sex that i've seen a lot in byler fan spaces. it seems to be about someone preferring to pleasure their partner over pleasuring themselves, or perhaps actually getting their pleasure from seeing their partner receiving it? but isnt that just normal healthy sex lol

the only alternative i can think of is someone who only has sex for themselves and basically uses their partner's body as a masturbation tool (something that a lot of douchebag men do unfortunately) which ofc is not an ideal scenario you would write for your fictional favs. i guess there could also be two people who are having sex and enjoying it, but still mainly in it for their own pleasure? but surely it's not possible to connect with someone during sex at all unless you keep their pleasure in mind anyway? hope you can help

hey! you're absolutely correct that it sounds like normal healthy sex (that's why I like exploring it!), I'd say "getting pleasure from seeing their partner receive it" is the meat of what a service top/partner is - so no need to worry about the alternative you mentioned! Some people think it means submissive but it really doesn't necessarily, at least from how I've interacted with it in life. and there's no 100% concrete definition, but it's less the general mutual "oh I'm making them feel good, we make each other feel good" of sex and more they actually get off on what they can do for their partner and don't necessarily expect the same thing back and are still just as fulfilled.

I like it for mike atm, but I see resistance for the role in general sometimes and I think there are two other things people can consider to help get a better understanding of why it's a totally valid and fun way to enjoy sex:

people's quite limited view of sex, whether due to inexperience or lack of knowledge

the belief that a partner can only experience their personal maximum pleasure from being the receiver is pretty basic. everyone has different likes, kinks, boundaries etc that to others might be a total turn off, there isn't one way to achieve full pleasure is my point! a simple example of some different forms of pleasure might be women who like to be held down vs a dominatrix, does that make sense? hopefully!

sex and love are not transactional

some people would genuinely think (and I've seen this) character A wouldn't be satisfied in life, or it's "unfair" if they don't also get fucked to completion, or fucked the same way they did character B, when it's simply not the only way to enjoy sex (this doesn't apply to eg. someone who finishes and then the sex is just over they don't bother helping their partner out 🍅 not what I'm talking about here). No one is cared for less (in fiction especially) just because one partner wasn't fucked the same way they did to the other, it's about sexual compatibility

so those points in relation to byler - for me! - are why I like mike getting off on will's reactions, the fact his body can please someone, body worship, praise kink vibes because will has no issue babbling praise since he genuinely feels amazing lmfao, getting overwhelmed and faltering, or rougher because he's trying so so hard and it excites him to see his best friend fall apart, to name a few :)

there's also the fact unless you really enjoy your preference in life, sex isn't the same every single time so there's degrees of the dynamic depending on the mood/scenario/horny levels - at least when I write!

tl;dr: service top/partner definition is pretty similar to how you'd view standard sex but the difference is that they don't operate with their own pleasure in mind as much/they get off on pleasuring

1. Raven ofc, she’s based on Miss India 1965, she basically should be canonically Indian atp. I like to think that she’s South Indian, and that her mother Arella’s side of the family is Christian since that’s a pretty common thing irl for South Indians.

2. Sue Dibny, mainly because I think her name Sue could easily be a nickname for Suhani and I think that’s adorable lmao. Also she’s a character I very much love, despite her cruel and unfortunate history. She IS one of the best detectives and I stand by that.

3. Zatanna. This one I’m not 100% serious about at all tbh, but in some panels she looks so very Desi that I’m just like??? Woah. Also can’t explain it but her personality/vibe also really matches. And it would be cool to have an Italian-Bengali or Italian-Pakistani girly.

4. Jason Todd. Controversial, I know, but his look in the Death in the Family movie was soooo…like you can’t tell me that’s not a Nepali man. Also it would make sense considering that he thought Shiva was his mom…there’d have to be a slight indicator of similarity somewhere. Also I deserve to see myself in a brown character who grew up poor in the streets and is unhinged.

Frankenstein + his “monster”

Basic info ; Howdy, I’m 19, strictly looking for 19+ rp partners for a dark or dead dove mxm rp. I’m literate to advanced literate depending, but 2 paragraphs per message at least is fine! I’m more of a quality over quantity rp reply enjoyer- but I do type a lot when I’m really feeling up to it. My favourite thing about rping though is actually talking ooc about the rp, so I’m okay with slower replies as long as you seem enthusiastic about brain storming or even just sending stuff like songs, Pinterest board things etc etc.

So I recently watched poor things, Lisa Frankenstein and have FINALLY started reading the actual Frankenstein book (despite adoring the story for years, I never read it??) - so sufficed to say I have (primarily) science fuelled resurrection on the mind. I ALSO have mutual destruction and abuse plots on the brain- my idea is more classic Frankenstein than the movies I mentioned but yk-

The plot ; Now this is bare bones but, I’m imagining that the power imbalances between these two are constantly shifting and fluctuating, our mad scientist obviously having most of the power to begin with, but the creature definitely having a physical advantage and maybe we could add some other things to make the playing field more balanced. Again I’m a fan of mutual destruction, and it wouldn’t be super mutual if our scientist has all the power all the time ofc. Maybe he’s a quivering coward- or unstable in other ways, has people he cares about that the creature threatens etc. All I know is that these freaks hate/depend on each other SO much the lines blur. If you’ve seen Hannibal — maybe a teeny teeny tiny bit of those vibes.

Things I’m comfortable with ; For this I’m good with non-con and think it could be interesting to write, or at least something not safe nor sane for both characters involved- I tend to write switches that start out as subs but am good with anything really! I’m also good with body horror and gore- the creature could definitely have inhuman/unrealistic durability too. Also violence in general. How much smut (if any) to plot ratio is v flexible, just let me know what you’d prefer!

Things I’m UNcomfortable with ; I do not want the creature to be child like in any way, despite likely not remembering much of his life before death I want him to be fully developed mentally and understand things as any adult would. I’m also not comfortable with scat, watersports and incest. Also really bizarre one but for some reason nipped piercings/torture in general whigs me out of all things.

Extra info ; I’d prefer this to be OCxOC but they can definitely have heavy similarities to Victor and Adam- I have two oc’s in development both fitting each role ! I’m good with any take on each character you have, any kind of oc’s are good to me but I’d prefer them to be at least 25 years old, along with being fucked up freaks ofc. Face claim wise I’d feel uncomfortable using IRL ones, but don’t mind drawn at all! I’m also interested in designs that aren’t typically conventionally attractive pretty boys— I mean they can be pretty if you’d like but I think ykwim.

With the current situation though I side with the nonnie who said that Till would only act differently to avoid consequences. The thought that the participants of his little after concert meat parade might only be over 18 to be on the safe side not because he wouldn't be up to them being younger makes me queasy. For me that's one of the comforting times about Rammstein, when one member does or says something that puts me off a bit, i focus on one of the others, because they are such different persons, that they rarely have the same vibe at the same time 🌺

Plus if u notice i try to keep recurring characters to a minimum, so far theres only 4 known, but one of them got killed early on- reason being is nothing other than pure laziness to build the proper foundations and distinct traits for each character </3

i just wanted to say that the ask reminded me of a lot of gay!mike talking points about el which say something about how mike actively choosing will over el would insinuate that there's something inherently unlovable about el and i....really do not vibe with that take.

(i don't have a problem with gay!mike, i just feel like this one specific idea is kind of a shitty thing to say and is a tad misogynistic)

imo mike and el breaking up and mike choosing to be with will does not mean that el isn't lovable or that there's something 'wrong' with her as a person, it just means that she and mike are not compatible as a couple, and this is true on both ends - mike is not a good bf to her and el isn't a good gf to him. neither one of them is a bad person, they just don't work romantically (similar to jncy/stncy where steve is a fantastic guy but not the right fit for nancy at all).

also, for someone like el who is still figuring out her identity as a person, breaking up with someone at 14 is not the end of the world, especially since the narrative seems to imply that independence is what she needs and where she's headed in the future. in fact, i think she will be the one to point out that mike isn't loving her the way that she wants to be loved and they will mutually break up once mike finds out the truth about the painting. i don't think there's going to be any real bad blood there bc imo el already accepted that mike doesn't make her feel loved in 4x03. she'll be sad about the breakup ofc, but it's not going to be crushing for her and she'll get to focus on building her platonic relationships with hopper, the byers family, lucas & dustin, max when she wakes up, and (hopefully) mike too.

I realize we're talking in the sense of Will simply feeling unworthy and the idea of Mike choosing him alleviating that self doubt. But Will shouldn’t rely on Mike loving him in order to feel worthy of love. Not to say that he shouldn't accept Mike's love, I'm just saying he needs to work on himself as well. (As does Mike! For the same reasons!)

So I'm not in love with the idea that Mike choosing Will gives Will the self worth he needs and therefore that's what makes the most sense narratively. Will shouldn't need Mike. K so like, scenarios where one person (cough Tony cough) has decided that THIS isn’t going to happen, with the full knowledge that it COULD or even that it DID happen, but for reasons beyond a lack mutual attraction and affection they won’t be together. Maybe they already tried, maybe it’s just such a clearly bad idea that they should put their foot down, but for whenever reason it’s been decided that it’s not happening.

And the other half of this (ahem Steve) is just kinda stuck with this decision, he can’t convince the other out of the logic that makes this a bad idea, but he also can’t just STOP wanting and loving the other person and refuses to pretend otherwise. So he gets plenty of “stop looking at me like that” “like what?” “Like a love sick fool” “ya about that…” Or is part of a fav trope of mine where the UST partner/ex he’s still in love with tries to set him up with someone else.

Well, you see, their friendship is slightly different than the one she has with Jimin and Taehyung. Yes, she is comfortable with all three of them, they are all super close so leaning against one another isn't something new or weird to them. However, she and jk has always had a special bond, just like Jimin and Taehyung do in the story. They're even more comfortable with each other (compared to her friendship/relationship with Jimin and Taehyung). They all are a different friend to her but ultimately, Jungkook is the closest.

It's hard to say what would happen because we are hypothetically speaking but Jimin and Taehyung are like her older brothers to her and vice versa. Of course, Jungkook still kind of has "the older brother" vibe as well because that's what she used to be to all of them, just like their "little sister" / the baby of the group. Surely, it's weird to see him as her "older brother" considering what's happening between them but I hope you understand what I mean by that.

There surely was a stage in their lives where she wouldn't do anything intimate with jk (whether it's just kissing we are talking about or anything else), the same thing goes for jk. The circumstances just brought them into that situation later but it wasn't an easy decision for both of them (the start of the whole "mutual help").

Sorry this got super long but no, I don't think she would be able to have sex with Jimin and Taehyung. Whether it’s movies they used to watch as a kid or building up their plushie / toy collection, they remind me of each other. Not to mention, they both care so much about those they love. The way Hueningkai treats the members (although he can be quite hyper and menacing), is reflective of the way Ryu treats me and others they care for.
