his hot girl.
request: the captains, specifically imayoshi, hyuga and kasamatsu with an s/o who is very confident in her body and wears very hot girl clothes, but doesnt let other people judge her just from her outward appearance alone
# tags: headcanon; current relationships; light romance; mostly fluff; but also drama; school!au or work!au; confident!reader; protective!boys; mention of vomit in shuuzou’s part; rather sfw
includes: female reader ft. junpei hyuuga, yukio kasamatsu, shoichi imayoshi, shuuzou nijimura & taisuke otsubo {knb}
— JUNPEI
↘ That day you and Junpei went on a date to your favorite restaurant. After ordering food, you sat down at one of the tables, immediately starting a conversation about plans for the next few days; your boyfriend had a match next friday and you had two projects to do.
↘ The day promised to be calm and the weather was so warm, so pretty.
↘ While having a nice chat with a tall basketball player, you heard whispers on your right. The two women sitting next to you nervously looked at your person and talked about your outfit – tight pants with flared legs that perfectly emphasized your bottom and a blouse with a visible neckline. You loved classic combinations with a hint of extravagance and you always felt great in your body. Plus, it was a date with Junpei – of course you wanted to look sexy and feminine.
↘ You were about to say something as your back straightened and the chest was pushed forward, but your boyfriend was much faster.
↘ “It’s rude to talk about other people, especially in a restaurant. Why don’t you take care of your clothes instead of my girlfriend?” He asked with a disgusted smile, and the two women quickly hid behind the menu card. You giggled, taking your boyfriend’s hand and thanking him.
— YUKIO
↘ It was a summer time, so you had to go to the beach in the company of your closest friends and their significant other. You spent most of your time on the blanket and sunbathing your body, occasionally chatting with the girlfriends of the rest of your boyfriend’s teammates... but still mostly focused on the sun, drinking water, and your boy who having a great time in the sea.
↘ “Y/N, let’s go to the water for a while.” Nakamura’s partner proposed with a big smile, and you just nodded slightly, adjusting the straw hat on your head and also the strings of your red swimsuit. In the meantime, you heard the screams of a woman who telling someone to not look at you.
↘ You looked towards the young woman and the man (probably her boyfriend or husband), then raised an eyebrow. The blonde stranger started telling him to stop staring and you’re not that pretty at all. You... just giggled.
↘ “... Why don’t you start working on your confidence instead of insulting me?” You just said, putting your hand on your hip, and the young woman’s cheeks took on the color of a ripe tomato. “With this attitude, I do not wish you a long relationship. I’m so sorry for you, man.” You said and then you and your friend walked towards the pleasant, warm water.
— SHOICHI
↘ You and Shoichi were invited to his childhood friend’s wedding. You liked the groom and the bride very much, but you felt the eyes of the maid of honour on you, who was looking enviously at your beautiful mid-thigh dress. The bottle green perfectly matched the colors of the room, your hairstyle and make-up, which is why you certainly caught the eyes of many people. In addition, the dress had an exposed back, slight creases on the thighs and silver elements that harmonized with the jewelry you had on your ears, neck and hands that evening. You looked divine.
↘ The bride’s witness, however, had a different opinion on this. From a distance, you could hear her gruff comments about you wanting to take your eyes off Yuri and her white, beautiful dress. Somewhere between the first and second toast, you also managed to hear that you look fat in your outfit and your shoes don’t match to the rest of your accessories. You just smiled at those words.
↘ “... Should I talk to her?” Your boyfriend asked calmly and you just shook your head.
↘ “Don’t worry, honey. I will do it.”
— SHUUZOU
↘ He loves your style very very much and really doesn’t understand how another person (usually a woman) can talk to a strange girl like that.
↘ On that day you were on a trip to the mountains to celebrate your fourth anniversary of your relationship and your first anniversary as a engaged couple. The weather was beautiful and the views was so amazing. You still had less than an hour to drive to your accommodation, but you had to pee and Shuuzou decided to refuel his car. After using the toilet at the gas station, you decided to buy yourself and your boyfriend a small, warm snack. You ordered one hot dog with ketchup and mayo for your partner and a small grilled sandwich with your favorite toppings.
↘ It was hot that day, so shorts and a tank top were the perfect choice. And you could start to tan a little. Unfortunately, after paying for the meal and fuel, and after receiving the food, you heard a very unpleasant comment from one of the gas station customers; his disgusting comment about you looking like a pornstar with a dick in your hand made you immediately wanted to vomit. But your face showed anger and disappointment.
↘ “It’s sad that you have so little self-confidence and manhood that you have to insult others for their appearance. But go on. Maybe someday it will make you feel better.” You replied casually as you left the small building. Luckily, your boyfriend quickly cheered you up with a quick but tender kiss.
— TAISUKE
↘ Summer and warm evenings were the perfect time to go out to the club and party with trusted people. Together with Taisuke, his friends, as well as Takao and Miyaji partners, you chose a club where you could dance, use karaoke equipment, drink something and play bowling. You were in the middle of a little fight between you with your boyfriend and a blonde basketball player with his girlfriend (your bestie).
↘ For today’s outing, you decided to wear leather pants that perfectly emphasized your legs and butt, as well as a white, lace top with gold elements. On your feet you had the most ordinary sneakers and a black bandana on your head. Your outfit was described by Taisuke as ‘very sexy and I want to kiss you now’.
↘ You had a great time while playing and drinking drinks (alcohol or not). Halfway through your game, all the boys went to get more snacks and use the restroom. So you stayed with Junko and Sachiko and engaged in a pleasant conversation about plans for the next weeks of holidays. About the time your boyfriend and his friends left three of you, a group of four men entered the bowling alley. Seeing you and your friends, they immediately started throwing obscene comments at you all.
↘ “... Leather turn me on a lot. You must have worn that outfit to the club on purpose, huh?” The tall, black-haired teenager laughed out loud, and you frowned. You hated pushy men... or rather pushy and stupid boys. However, before you responded to the idiotic comment, your boyfriend and the other four returned to their place, immediately showing their dominance and superiority. The Shuutoku team was definitely more massive and taller than the four strangers, so they instantly fell silent.
↘ You were glad that you could count on the support of your boyfriend and friends.

꒰ ☕ ꒱ ┊: The Two Of Us
↳ Imayoshi Shoichi x FReader
"Once again, I have won," the raven-haired man chuckled as he held up his test paper with the highest mark, (F/n) (L/n) had once again lost, she had lost to second place to this smug twig-looking tree stump. (F/n) frowned and puffed her cheeks, "That isn't fair! How the hell did you get the highest mark! I studied way more than you!" She complained, Imayoshi shrugged and grinned, "I guess you could say I'm just that naturally smarter than you," he said. (F/n) huffed and crossed her arms, "Never! I swear I'll come in first place! I'll beat you on our next examination!"
Imayoshi Shoichi and (L/n) (F/n) had been friends since the beginning of middle school, and ever since they first met, they've been competing with each other to get to the top.
They were best friends, and they'd have playful competitions against each other.
"Hah! I won! I told you I'm better than you!" (F/n) said with a laugh, Imayoshi huffed, "You cheated, you took the most broken character!" The young girl rolled her eyes and placed her hands on her hips, "Just admit that you suck!"
Imayoshi shook his head and placed down his controller, he then proceeded to tackle (F/n), tickling her mercilessly, "Sto-.., ahahaha! Sho-kun! Y-Yamero!! Hahahaha!"
Eventually, the raven-haired boy stopped with a grin printed on his face, he was hovering on top of the young girl, not realizing the position they were in.
"We both know I'm better than you," he said, (F/n) rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, "Humph, you're just bitter because you lost!" She huffed.
Imayoshi chuckled got off (F/n) and sat down, "Whatever, I bet I could beat you at basketball though."
(F/n) huffed, "Of course you are, you're the captain of our highschool basketball team!!"
Imayoshi hummed and leaned back on the sofa, "I guess I am... I'm retiring though," he said, (F/n) paused and rested her head on his shoulder, "Are you scared?" She asked.
Imayoshi smiled and shook his head, "No, I know they can take care of themselves... They'll do good..."
⸻⸻⋅☾ 🤍 ☽⋅⸻⸻
"Imayoshi-San... I-is it alright if you meet me out the garden after school?" A young girl ask with a tint of red on her cheeks.
Imayoshi hummed and shook his head, "Sorry, but I have more important things to do later—..," just as he said that, (F/n) passed by and saw the raven-haired boy.
"Ahh! Sho-kun! Let's go to the arcade after school!" She suggested with a smile, "Sure, I'm looking forward to it," he said.
He then made his way to (F/n), ignoring the young girl who's heart he shattered.
"I bet I'll get a higher grade than you in English!" (F/n) said, Imayoshi chuckled and crossed his arms, "Alright, I agree with that."
The young girl cackled and places both of her hands on her hips, "If I win you're going to be doing my homework for a week!"
Imayoshi smiled and leaned closer to (F/n)'s face, "Alright, I'll agree to that, but if I win... You have to go on a date with me."
"It's a dea—.., wait what?!"
The raven-haired boy then gave (F/n) a pat on the head and started to walk ro class, "I said what I said."

Touo, Kaijo, Shutoku captains, and Yosen vice-captain reaction/ respond to a cute manager from their opponents that smiles at them before their game starts?
(rather flirty or interested kind of smile to them, perhaps adding a wink too if you'd like(?))
Kasamatsu: He had been trying to avoid eye-contact with the other team's manager since the beginning of the match, afraid that the flush of his cheeks and the nerves in his eyes would be obvious. The second she sends a flirtatious wink his way however, Kasamatsu completely short-circuits. Despite his fellow teammates encouraging him to walk up to her and start a conversation, he finds his knees locking and his mind going into overdrive.
"Wh-what?! N-No way! I can't do that!" He truly was hopeless around women.
Imayoshi: "Oh? What's this? Seems like our opponents have a little flirt with them."
He's amused by the flirtatious looks the female manager is sending his way, a smirk curling onto his lips. It doesn't take much convincing for Imayoshi to walk over to her after the game, making small talk — the fact that his team had won makes her obvious attraction to him even sweeter, in his opinion. By the time he's leaving with his teammates, Imayoshi has her number scrawled onto a piece of paper tucked away in his jacket pocket for later.
Otsubo: He sees the flirtatious wink she sends his way halfway through the game and almost has to do a double take. When he confirms that it was actually for him, Otsubo returns her look with what he thinks is a charming smile. He's at least polite enough to wait until after the match to approach the opposing team's manager, starting the conversation off by commenting on all the looks she was giving him.
"Well, you're still looking at me the same way you did earlier, so I know it's not a distraction tactic now."
Okamura: "I've been waiting for a day like this and it's finally happening to me!"
He almost embarrasses himself by yelling that phrase out loud to his teammates. They're all — of course — in denial that the cute manager from the opposing team would be into their captain like that. Okamura proves them all wrong by walking right up to her, starting a conversation, and they're all surprised when she reciprocates willingly with more flirtatious looks sent his way. Now all he needs to do is not mess this chance up!

ryou nods, because omma would, and she'd call it training. really, nijimura-san seems to be the best option for og rather than omma. ryou takes his water and slowly drinks it, as he watches his twin talk. makoto laughs and attention goes to his twin. [ text, ha-chan ] he all but barged in the house the morning to grab og and then turned around for me. shuuzou nods, " this is fairly tame, really. i know i'm excited, " because of course he is, in a five-star gym where one of his idols goes too / partly owns, " but it could be so much worse. it's good to see where your stamina is and your natural talent. " his head tilts, as he takes a sip of his water as well. " it feels harsh because second string isn't ran as harshly as first string, mainly because i like to see who goes out of their way more to try harder to get to first string, " a hand waves, " and makoto has his reasons, but you've got to get things up. to make out a good regime for you, i need to see where you're starting at. " ryou breathes, " man i'm so glad imayoshi-senpai is my captain and not you two. one omma is enough. "
“ no, ” og breathes out, heaving out a large exhale, moments away from yawning as he sits up, “ i’m pretty sure if she were here, she’d throw me across the room just because. ” water is taken and he drowns about half of it in a minute. “ do you not know what easy is? ”
makoto laughs, crouching down next to og and pressing his water against his neck just to watch the way he pulls away. “ what makes you think this isn’t him going easy on you? ”
[ text, ryou-yo ] lmao he’ll live. is this his first time with super serious shuu???
“ …… nah, this ain’t that. ”
makoto shrugs, looking up towards shuuzou. “ we have to get your stamina up. besides, we do need to know where you stand in a more serious capacity since you’re staying on first string. ”

could we get something about dominant imayoshi? please..? :)
Hello, anon! I hope this turned out okay for you, and I hope I was able to give our sly, hot captain justice through this writing. Take care. Thank you for requesting! ^^
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Pairing: Imayoshi Shoichi x reader
Warnings: Nudity, slightly suggestive, mentions of rough treatment
You stare at the mirror, scowling at the way your matted hair tangles at the edges. The frown turns your lips downwards. You need some good hair conditioner, and yes, maybe even a short trip to the spa for some treatment.
"Crap."
Imayoshi Shoichi's voice rings through your ears, snapping you out of your reverie. You turn to look at him. His eyes are squinted, vision probably still blurry as he rubs his eyes and shuffles towards you.
"Morning, sleepyhead," you chuckle, arms raised to tuck him in an embrace. To your surprise, he catches your hands and pins them to your sides.
He tries to blink away the residual sleep in his eyes, pushing your hair behind you as he does so. It's his turn to frown.
"What?" you ask, feeling a wee bit of consciousness as he scrutinizes you as though you're a microbe underneath his microscope.
Imayoshi brushes his fingertips unto the skin of your neck, his touch leaving tingling sensations that sends pleasure down your spine. "Look at you."
"For the last time, Sho, what is it?" you ask impatiently.
"This," he answers and presses his finger on a flushed patch of skin, "I sucked too hard. It's going to leave a mark for the rest of the day. Not to mention, these..."
Both your eyes travel downwards to your naked body, reddened markings splashed across the otherwise bare canvass of your skin. You squirm a little when his gaze lingers on the slender mark underneath your chest far longer than you appreciate. When you move to cover it, a dismayed sigh blows past his lips.
"You're probably imagining it," you blurt out in a pathetic attempt to lighten the mood. "See, you're not wearing your glasses. I'm perfectly fine."
An offended look crosses his face, eyes squinting until you could no longer his his irises. "My eyesight isn't that bad. Come on, give me a little credit, will ya?"
You laugh at the hint of whine in his voice, closing the distance between you as you bury your hands into his dark hair. There's no denying that you feel sore in many areas of your body. Light purplish splotches run like jewelries on your neckline. Memories of last night brand your arms, legs and waist with red crescents. Imayoshi seems to notice them too, tracing the breaks on your flesh with a delicacy that was close to non-existent when he was on top of you.
"Shoichi," you speak up, "I'm fine. If it's too much, I'd use the safe word and you'd stop, right?"
"Of course." He pauses to encircle his arms around your waist. "But it was your first time. I could've been gentler with you."
You laugh and shake your head. "No, it was exciting for the most part. Just a bit unusual," you glance at the dark marks around your wrists, "but seeing the satisfied look on your face in the end was worth it."
"Look, I know you're tough. But you should never hestitate to tell me when to hit the breaks, alright?"
"I know. Don't worry about me. I completely trust you, so you should, too."
The smile he flashes stirs up something in your heart. You massage his cheeks before leaning forward to give him a soft, chaste peck, your lips barely grazing his skin.
"Did you have to ruin the wedding dress though?" you intone, eying the ruined white gown on the floor meaningfully.
Imayoshi doesn't bother to hide his smugness, a smirk pulling at the corners of his mouth. "As much as I loved seeing you in it, I'd rather it be off you."
"And be more careful next time," you chide with a roll of your eyes, "You almost smacked your head on the board lunging at me like that, for goodness sake. I don't want a dead husband right on my first night."
He chuckles, before releasing you and walking towards the bed for his glasses. With that infuriating grin still plastered on his mouth, he replies, "As if you can get rid of me that easily. I'll drag you down the gates of Valhalla if I have to."
"Has anyone told you that you have a horrible personality, Sho?"
The filtered sunlight cascades over the room as the wind blows the curtains, casting dancing shadows and crystals of light over Imayoshi's face. From this angle, the mischievous glimmer in his eyes becomes more apparent, yet, there was nothing but tenderness entwined in the way he smiles at you.
Imayoshi raises his hand and waves it, the ring around his finger glinting.
"So I've been told countless times before. But you married me, nonetheless."
You laugh.
"Come here," he tells you. "I have to make it up to you."

Your last ask was seriously funny! We need more of that. If possible, can I request different scenrios where the s/o of the gom gets asked questions by the s/o of their boyfriend's teammate(s) about their night (because reader has a looot of love marks).... this is so freaking specific, im sorry😂😂 if you cant do it it fine, if you do, then i appreciate you and your writings (i love your blog and im also a simp for Aomine)
Aren’t we all a simp for Aomine 😭💕 I really couldn’t think of anything for Midorima and Murasakibara without it being too repetitive and boring so I unfortunately left them out of this one, so I’m sorry and I hope you don’t mind too much!! xx
Scenario: Kuroko, Kise, Aomine and Akashi’s s/o being questioned about their love marks
Kuroko
It was a rather chilly Wednesday afternoon and you were watching Seirin’s practice as you usually would. While you initially came there to watch your boyfriend play, you actually also ended up becoming quite close with Kagami, Izuki and Mitobe’s significant others who also came to watch quite often.
As you watched over the practice while chatting away with your friends, you began to feel rather warm due to the gym’s heating, so you took off the scarf that you’d wrapped around your neck. Not thinking too much of it, you continued with your conversation, only to notice that your friends had their eyes fixated on your neck. “Why are you guys looking at me like that?” you questioned, trying to decipher the strange smirks and nods they shared with each other.
“Y/N, your neck...” Mitobe’s s/o trailed off, getting caught up in giggles before they could finish.
“What? Is there something on my neck?” you asked, beginning to panic as your hand immediately reached for it in the fear that there was a bug on it.
“I’m guessing you and Kuroko had some fun last night,” Kagami’s s/o giggled, causing you to freeze as you came to a realisation of what they were referring to.
You quickly wrapped the scarf around your neck again to conceal the red marks your boyfriend had left the night before. Filled with embarrassment, your averted your gaze and fixated on the boys’ practice to avoid making eye contact with your friends. Of course, they didn’t let you off the hook that easily.
“I didn’t think Kuroko was the type to leave marks, but damn he really went to town on your neck, huh Y/N?” Kagami’s s/o teased, making your face turn red with embarrassment.
“Shut up,” you grumbled, letting out a nervous chuckle.
“So, was yesterday a special night? Or does he always leave marks like those?” Mitobe’s s/o interrogated.
“It’s always the quiet ones...”
“Oh my God, stop,” you said, unable to hold back the giggles from the ridiculousness of their comments. “It was just a normal night okay?”
The two of them shared a look before hooting a long “oooooh,” making you wish you didn’t say anything at all.
“So it’s a normal thing then?” Kagami’s s/o continued, the grins on their faces growing wider and wider.
“I’m gonna pretend like I can’t hear you,” you said finally, looking everywhere but at them. You didn’t lie when you said that though. They kept teasing you, but you just sat there as though they weren’t talking to you.
Eventually, they got tired of it, but they didn’t hesitate to shoot you knowing glares when practice ended and you hurried over to Kuroko to escape them.
“Is everything okay?” Kuroko asked you, when he noticed how much of a hurry you were in to leave.
“Yeah, they just saw the marks from last night,” you informed him, making him blush at the memory of the previous night’s events. “So can we just leave before they come here and embarrass me even more?”
Not wanting to draw any attention to himself, Kuroko agreed with you after letting out a small chuckle. “Sorry about that, Y/N,” he said sincerely, not knowing how he’d respond to remarks if he were in your position.
You gave his hand a tight squeeze and flashed him a reassuring smile. “It’s alright, I’ll let it slide because last night was really fun,” you beamed, causing his face to flush red before the two of you left the gym after exchanging brisk goodbyes with the team.
Kise
It was just another practice day at Kaijo where you were casually chatting with your friends. They weren’t normally people you would hang out with, but you’d gotten quite close during these practices since they were the significant others of your boyfriend, Kise’s teammates. Whilst you considered them friends, they weren’t exactly close enough where you’d feel comfortable sharing personal details about your relationship, so you would often stick to light hearted stuff— which you quite enjoyed because they always gave you a good laugh.
“Y/N, is this the first time you’re wearing a scarf?” Moriyama’s s/o asked you, eyeing the bright blue scarf that Kise lent you this morning.
“Yeah, it is,” you nodded.
“I can tell. It’s really not your usual style— it’s not even wrapped properly,” they continued, giving you a pitiful chuckle as Kasamatsu’s s/o bobbed their head in agreement.
“Yeah, I know. I was trying something new, but I’m not sure I like it,” you sighed, fiddling with the end of it. To be honest, you didn’t even want to wear it. It was only there to cover up the bright red marks Kise left all over your neck the night before. You wanted to cover it up with makeup, but you remembered that morning that you needed to buy a new bottle of foundation because Kise accidentally knocked your old one over while playing around with you and broke it.
“Here let me wrap it properly for you,” Kasamatsu’s s/o offered, shuffling closer to you and taking your scarf off before you had time to protest.
And just like that, you were left bare-necked, with both of their eyes glued onto you in shock as your face flushed red. You immediately snatched the scarf back and wrapped it back out of embarrassment.
“Oh my God Y/N! Your neck was covered in hickeys!” Moriyama’s s/o squealed, making you want to dash out of there.
“So you and Kise got it on last night huh? Go on, give us the details!” Kasamatsu’s s/o urged excitedly as they nudged your shoulder with their elbow.
“Details? It was nothing,” you said nervously, desperately searching your head for a way to change the topic.
“Nothing? Y/N, those marks were plastered all across your neck! He barely left any spots untouched,” Moriyama’s s/o laughed.
“Well, what do you want me to say? We were just messing around,” you shrugged. “Can we please move on—“
“Hey guys,” Kise chimed in, cutting you off with a kiss on your cheek. You looked around in confusion and realised that he was on his water break and began to prepare yourself for what’s to come. “What’re you talking about?”
“Well, Y/N was just showing us those marks on their neck—“
“I wasn’t showing them to you! You saw them against my will,” you corrected as you buried your face in your hands.
“Shhh, seems like you two had fun last night,” Kasamatsu’s s/o giggled.
“Oh those! I kind of got carried away, didn’t I? Sorry, Y/N-cchi,” Kise said sweetly as he wrapped his arms around you apologetically.
“We were trying to get Y/N to spill some details but they’re too embarrassed,” Kasamatsu’s s/o said as you continued to pray that this hell of a conversation would end. You hated how charismatic Kise was sometimes, because it often ended with him slipping into conversations like this so easily and just fuelling the fire.
“Embarrassed? Y/N-cchi, you don’t need to be embarrassed. I left those marks there for a reason— you should be proud of them!” Kise sang as your friends nodded along, a smug look on both of their faces.
“Ryouta please stop,” you whined as he only hugged you tighter.
“But those marks look nice on—“
“Captain! Hasn’t this water break gone on long enough?” You called out to Kasamatsu all of a sudden.
“Oi Kise, get your ass back on the court!” Kasamatsu yelled back in reply, causing Kise to sigh.
“Why’d you do that?” Kise pouted.
“Because I like watching you practice,” you said innocently. “You’re playing a game now aren’t you? Why don’t you go score a cool dunk for me?”
Just like that, Kise immediately lit up. “I’ll score the best dunk you’ve ever seen!” He said cheerily before turning back to your friends. “Take it easy on Y/N-cchi, it’s my fault after all.”
“Yeah yeah, we’re just joking around for the fun of it. It’s not funny if it goes on for too long anyways,” Moriyama’s s/o replied reassuringly.
“Great. Thanks,” Kise grinned. Just as you thought he was going to leave, he suddenly leaned in close to your ear and whispered, “You know, those marks on your neck really do look pretty— I might just make some more later.”
And like it was nothing, Kise strutted off confidently, leaving you with a face that couldn’t be more flustered even if you tried.
Aomine
It wasn’t unusual for you to have marks all over your neck since everyone had already gotten used to it. The first few times the team and their significant others noticed them, there were a lot of questions and reactions, though they were mainly directed at Aomine so you didn’t mind all too much. Of course, you’d still try to hide them as much as you could, but makeup is expensive and to be spending so much on concealing marks that would just appear again within a week or so seemed quite redundant to you. You also tried to tell Aomine to limit the marks to places that clothes could cover, and while he’d agree beforehand, he’d often end up getting carried away and doing what he wants.
It was the day of an important preliminary match for Touou and you met up with the significant others of Wakamatsu and Imayoshi at the stands of the arena after wishing your boyfriend good luck. Upon greeting them, their eyes were immediately directed to your neck— which you expected. You tried covering the marks up with makeup but they were still quite visible. Furthermore, it was the summer so a scarf or turtleneck was not an option— you weren’t going to suffer for something this trivial.
“Y/N, did you even try to cover that up?” Wakamatsu’s s/o asked with a sigh.
“I did! I think I need to get some better foundation, honestly,” you groaned as you took a seat next to them.
“My God, that Aomine really doesn’t quit huh? Even before a big game?” Imayoshi’s s/o asked.
“Somehow he’s even more riled up before games. I really don’t know how he has the energy,” you sighed.
“Don’t act like you don’t like it,” Imayoshi’s s/o said with a smirk.
“Well, of course I like it. Just let me complain, will you?” you joked.
“Haven’t you tried telling him to take it easy with the marks?” Wakamatsu’s s/o questioned.
“I have— many times. But he never listens.”
“Yeah, I don’t think he’d ever really listen to things like that,” Imayoshi’s s/o said.
“That’s just Daiki for you,” you shrugged.
“Well, was last night fun?” Wakamatsu’s s/o asked suggestively, nudging your arm.
“Yeah it was,” you said, beginning to feel slightly flustered as your mind wandered back to moments from the night before.
“Oooh, go on, give us the details,” Imayoshi’s s/o said excitedly.
“No way. That’s only for me to know,” you said firmly. “Besides, I’m way too tired to be going into details anyway,” you added as you let out an exhausted yawn.
“My God, how long were you up till?” Wakamatsu’s s/o asked.
“I don’t even remember— I think it was 2 a.m.?” you guessed, cursing Aomine and his stamina for keeping you up so late.
“Don’t you think he’d be too tired to play today then?” Wakamatsu’s s/o asked.
“He’s an idiot, but he wouldn’t be up so late unless he knew he could handle it,” you replied.
The topic quickly died out once the game began, and all of you were so consumed with it that all of you’d completely forgotten about the marks. And of course, Touou won with a massive lead— with Aomine scoring almost half of the points. He truly was incredible, you thought.
Akashi
You were often very good at hiding marks left behind by Akashi, but there was this one morning where you were in such a rush that you had no time to cover them up. So as you headed to the gym to watch Akashi’s practice like you usually would, he seemed to notice the red spots on your neck. As a smile spread across his face, he took his jacket off and handed it to you.
“Sorry for rushing you so much; I don’t like being late. Here, wear this so you can cover those up for the most part,” he said, eyeing your neck with a look that had no traces of regret whatsoever.
You took his jacket and zipped it all the way up so that it would cover your neck. “Shouldn’t you be apologising for leaving the marks instead?”
“I wouldn’t have left them if I thought I’d have to apologise for it. They look quite pretty on your neck if I’m being honest—I’m just saving you from being interrogated,” he explained coolly as you neared the gym.
“Well, I have a feeling that it’s gonna happen whether I like it or not.”
And just as you expected, when you got to the gym and met up with Mayuzumi, Hayama and Nebuya’s s/os, you were greeted with a few strange looks. “What’s up with the jacket, Y/N?” Mayuzumi’s s/o questioned.
“Oh, Sei gave it to me because I was feeling chilly,” you lied with a shrug.
“You don’t usually zip it up all the way though. It looks weird,” Hayama’s s/o pointed out. You didn’t realise that they were this observant until then.
“Y/N’s probably hiding something under there then,” Nebuya’s s/o said jokingly, almost as if they knew exactly what was going on but tried to pass it off as something humorous.
“What could I possibly be hiding?” you played along, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible.
“I don’t know, you tell me,” Nebuya’s s/o said suggestively, still clearly joking.
“Could it possibly be hickeys?” Mayuzumi’s s/o guessed, causing the group to break out into a chorus of hoots as you genuinely questioned whether they had psychic abilities.
“What? Why would you say that?” you laughed, still determined not to give it away.
“I want to say that I did some incredible detective work, but there are still marks poking out ever so slightly from your neck that gave it away,” Mayuzumi’s s/o explained, drawing all the attention towards your neck as the other two tried to spot it.
You let out a sigh, “Alright, you got me. I didn’t have time to cover them up this morning.”
“Let us see them!” Hayama’s s/o said a little too excitedly.
“Why do you need to see them?”
“It’s the prize for our investigative abilities,” Nebuya’s s/o said.
Rolling your eyes, you reluctantly unzipped the jacket, revealing the bright red and purple marks spread across your neck and earning a gasp from all three of them.
“Akashi really doesn’t hold back, does he?” Hayama’s s/o giggled.
“Sounds about right— it’s Akashi Seijuro we’re talking about after all,” Mayuzumi’s s/o commented.
“So, did you have fun last night, Y/N?” Nebuya’s s/o grinned.
“Well, yeah,” you mumbled, beginning to feel a little embarrassed as you zipped the jacket back up.
“There are a lot of marks though. Is he really that rough?” Mayuzumi’s s/o asked, a slight hint of concern in their voice.
“Kind of? I don’t know. It feels weird talking about it. But he has his moments,” you answered, not knowing how much you should be sharing with them.
“He just seems so cool and collected that I can’t believe he did that much damage, you know?” Nebuya’s s/o explained.
“Yeah I get what you mean,” Hayama’s s/o nodded along as all of their heads turned to take a look at Akashi, who was instructing his team about something.
“Can we please move on from this topic, it’s weird,” you said quickly, not liking that they were all probably thinking about Akashi in a whole different way now.
They were somehow quite understanding of your request and the conversation quickly moved on to a different subject matter so that whatever happened between you and Akashi remained between the two of you— and you hoped that it would stay that way.

tags; 2.1k words on middle school hanamiya and imayoshi. if you like character analysis fics, you’ll like this. if you like a hanamiya whose not as omnipotent as he becomes in kiridai, you’ll like this. if you ship imahana, you may just like this too. ;) reblog i’m begging you
****
In his first year of middle school, Hanamiya is an arrogant little shit.
He’s not yet learnt how to allow himself to droop to the level of mere mortals, to hang out with them rather than watching them like a scientist does lab rats. Though there are those around him who might call him a friend, he himself will never call them anything of the sort. Sure, they can be fun to play with - sometimes - but it doesn’t take long for them to become boring and predictable. They’re tools, that’s all. Stupid children who’ll never realise just how far his brilliance extends, who’ve been sentenced to as pitiful an existence as the trash he kicks in the street. Pathetic losers who think they’re delinquents, yet their own weakness is so deeply engraved in their brains that they’ve decided to follow Hanamiya around. Useless dumb fucks who stare at him blankly whenever he says anything of vague intelligence.
That’s why, the first time he meets Imayoshi, sees that amused smile, seething in insincerity, Hanamiya feels an emotion akin to falling in love. That of having found someone who understood you. A comrade.
****
Imayoshi’s good to Hanamiya.
He’s a year older, has his own friends, and yet he spends time with Hanamiya all the same, as if he sees something in a brat with bad attitude. During practice, he’s usually the one to pair up with Hanamiya, a good thing given that their teammates treat the boy, who’s already developing a rough play style, with a careful suspicion. Hanamiya reckons the only reason he’s still on the first string is because his talent is shining through; they can’t get rid of someone with his talent. Besides, with him around, Imayoshi as a point guard is even more powerful.
The two of them develop a language through glances, that one day Hanamiya will use with a 6’3 centre.
Sometimes, they go out together. Sat in a cafe, they watch the people around them, and Imayoshi murmurs guesses and predications he has about these strangers. He’s always correct. Occasionally, he adds a comment which makes Hanamiya glance a little closer at his companion, wondering how such cruel words can come from such an even-tempered demeanour. Not that Hanamiya minds, of course. He gets a grin on his own face from the idea that he’s spending time with such a guy.
No longer is he the king isolated on his throne. He’s got an advisor stood beside him now.
****
When Hanamiya starts his second year of middle school, Imayoshi his third, he earns even more power in the basketball team, largely because Imayoshi is the captain now.
Of course, Imayoshi still insists on Hanamiya fine-tuning his basketball skills, rather than focusing on his violence-centred techniques. But, in matches with tougher competition, sometimes he pulls Hanamiya to his side.
“Poor number 5,” Imayoshi smiles, taking a swig of water, “looks like he’s a bit on the sorer side.”
Grinning like a dog wanting to chase a squirrel, Hanamiya replies, “it’s his left shoulder.”
“Maybe someone should put him out of his misery.”
With his bottle empty, Imayoshi rejoins the rest of the team to talk tactics for the second half of the match. Hanamiya’s left standing alone to study his opposition a little closer, to plan and prepare, and his grin grows even larger when he hears Imayoshi say, in the background,
“You’ll no longer be marking number 5. He’s a bit fast for you. We’ll get Hanamiya to deal with him instead.”
The year in which Imayoshi is the team captain is the year in which most basketball-playing middle schoolers start calling Hanamiya ‘the Bad Boy’. It’s also the year he is labelled an Uncrowned King. And it’s also the year he spends most by Imayoshi’s side.
Hanamiya’s mother is very taken by Imayoshi. Every time she meets Imayoshi, she thanks him for taking her son under his wing. Imayoshi’s father, in the meantime, likes to tell Hanamiya just how much potential he thinks the boy has (a lot). And this encourages the crush Imayoshi’s younger sister has on Hanamiya, for about a term, until she finds someone new.
Imayoshi borrows from Hanamiya’s collection of crime and mystery novels. They run their own sort of book club where they discuss what they would have done, if they were the criminals depicted; Hanamiya’s ideas are gruesome, Imayoshi’s involve mental torture that makes even his companion shiver. Neither of them would ever get caught. The time Imayoshi teaches Hanamiya how to gut a fish, when they’re sat together at sunset with blood all over their hands, Hanamiya realises that, if he were to become a murderer, he’d want Imayoshi as the Bonnie to his Clyde.
Here’s the thing though. If they were asked to describe their relationship with each other, Hanamiya would say ‘good friends’. Whilst Imayoshi could say anything; he might just say ‘acquaintances.’
It’s been this long, but Hanamiya still struggles to read Imayoshi’s true emotions.
But, at the same time, he understands him more the others do.
One Thursday evening, at the start of practice, solidifies that theory.
The last of the players to arrive, Hanamiya strolls into the gym, kicking a basketball along with him. His first words are,
“Where’s Imayoshi?”
“Dunno,” replies one of the third years, who’s been stretching in the corner and now stands up to his full height, “he said a family member went to hospital. Maybe his mother’s sick or something.”
The frustration Hanamiya had when the boy started talking (sure, they’re in different classes, but why did Imayoshi give that information to this guy instead of Hanamiya?) soon dissipates. All he can think is that this motherfucker doesn’t know that Imayoshi’s mother is dead. They’ve spent three years together, and yet Hanamiya’s the only one who knows the truth about Imayoshi’s home situation. That has to count for something.
Hanamiya’s evening is made even better when, as he changes back into his school uniform, he receives a text from Imayoshi himself.
“Can you pick up my sister?” the third year has written, with none of his usual teasing tone.
“Sure,” replies Hanamiya, “is your father okay?”
“Yeah. Thanks.”
Maybe it’s because Imayoshi’s sister has met Hanamiya the most, so is more likely to come with him if he shows up at her school gates. Maybe it’s because a previous crush is the best person to tell a young girl that her father’s gone to hospital.
Or maybe, just maybe, it’s because Hanamiya’s the one Imayoshi trusts the most.
It almost embarrasses Hanamiya just how much he likes that concept. He grins all the way to her school. And, even when he’s forced to deal with the irritating female middle schooler babble about “Imayoshi! Is this your boyfriend?”, whilst said younger Imayoshi is clinging to his arm, blushing, shyly denying the claims in a way designed to make others disregard the denial, whilst Hanamiya is trying to drag her away from her companions, even all this doesn’t ruin Hanamiya’s good mood. He even treats the girl on their route home.
Upon arrival, when she starts crying, he pats her back (albeit stiffly), and lets her convince him to stay there and watch Sailor Moon with her. When she grumbles about the earlier snack not having been enough for a growing girl, he makes her a small dinner, whilst she debates which Sailor Guardian he’s most like.
It’s while Hanamiya’s trying to stop the girl from putting ribbons in his hair that her brother arrives home. Hanamiya’s never seen Imayoshi look so exhausted; there’s none of the usual grin on the boy’s face, his hair is dishevelled, and there’s even a hint of a childlike sorrow in his eyes.
“Oh, Hanamiya,” his voice is monotone, “you’re still here.”
“I made some shit to eat if you want it,” Hanamiya can’t match Imayoshi’s gaze; there’s something very awkward about being introduced to the vulnerability of a person you admire for their infrangible strength.
“Alright.” Slipping off his coat, Imayoshi turns to his sister, “don’t worry about dad. He’ll be home in a few days - he was just overworked.”
The three of them end up watching Sailor Moon together, until the sky outside goes black, Imayoshi’s sister falls asleep, and it’s time for Hanamiya to make his way home.
“I suppose I don’t need to tell you to stay safe,” says Imayoshi, leaning against the doorway.
Hanamiya snorts with laughter, “tell that to anyone who gets in my way instead.”
The corners of Imayoshi’s lips rise - the first sincere smile Hanamiya’s seen him make towards anyone that’s not a family member - and that’s when Hanamiya decided that he’s Imayoshi’s closest friend.
Hanamiya picks up Imayoshi’s sister from school two more times that week, leaving some meals his mother prepared for the siblings in the fridge. Then, during the team’s match on Sunday, Imayoshi gives him a little more leeway to play as he wishes. So Hanamiya puts a point guard out of action for the foreseeable future.
Best of all, when one of the opponents starts yelling at the referee, claiming that Hanamiya did it on purpose, and said referee starts to lean towards the boy’s point of view, it’s Imayoshi who comes to Hanamiya’s rescue.
But, then again, that’s why Hanamiya had allowed himself to slip up.
With Imayoshi’s silver tongue behind him, he’s invincible.
****
At the end of his second year of middle school, Hanamiya comes home to find two people at the dinner table. The first, his mother, who he was expecting. The second, his father, of whom he’s only got a faint recollection, and not a pleasant one. For a little while, he puts up with the situation. However, upon being asked whether he’d like to spend more time with his dad, upon seeing the discomfort in his mother’s face, he punches the guy in the nose - maybe breaks it - and storms out. He can’t stay in the house with that guy’s stench in it.
So he ends up, somehow, crying in Imayoshi’s bathroom, and Imayoshi never comments on it, though Hanamiya hears him tell his sister outside ‘not right now’.
“I’ve got a cold,” says Hanamiya when he unlocks the door, with his eyes rubbed red, smothering sniffles.
“Yeah,” Imayoshi’s not smiling, “it’s been frosty recently.”
Imayoshi warms them up some ramen. They eat in silence until, with a mouthful of noodles, Hanamiya starts mumbling quietly about what happened - the punch, the audacity of his bastard of a father, and the shittiness of his bastard of a father.
With anyone else, Hanamiya would keep his mouth shut. But Imayoshi also lives in a single parent family.
He’s the only one who gets it.
****
It took Imayoshi’s graduation - to some high school unheard of in the basketball scene - for Hanamiya to realise once more how boring middle school is. But he’s matured in this last few years; he’s starting to see boredom as an opportunity.
He spends more time with his old delinquent friends, entertaining himself with giving them tasks of increasing risk (several of which earn him cash); he starts playing around with the idea of a ‘spider’s web’, using the basketball team’s new first years as test subjects, knowing the captain of the team is powerless to stop him. He starts spending his evenings studying as part of his plan to get into Kirisaki Daichi on a scholarship. Among other things, he wants Imayoshi to see him in that black-and-purple uniform that insinuates power.
One time, Hanamiya makes an hour long detour to walk past Touou high school on his journey home. He waits on the street opposite the school gates, a hood low over his head, as the students start trickling out. It takes around ten minutes for Imayoshi to appear in the mix. But he’s accompanied by some broad-backed brunette, who looks like the type of guy to pat you on your back when you cry.
Hanamiya hates him. More than that, he hates himself for having made an hour detour in the hopes Imayoshi would have been alone, might have seen him, might have offered for them to hang out. It was a stupid idea - of all people, Imayoshi knows best how to blend in and befriend - plus, to make matters worse, it’s started to rain. And Hanamiya didn’t bring an umbrella.
He grumbles all the way to the station in his soaked hoodie. Grumbles when he’s back home.
Receives a message from Imayoshi - “I saw you standing there. Why didn’t you say hi?” - and can smell Imayoshi’s shit-eating grin like the man’s standing right there in front of him.
When he throws his phone against the sofa, the screen cracks, and he has reason to grumble even more.

Kiridai vs Players They Have Their Eyes On
And why this could be the case(another interesting thing to look into!)
Referencing the Kurofes Book
Hanamiya - Has his eyes on Kiyoshi
An obvious one.A fellow non-rakuzan uncrowned king who is the exact opposite of him.
Like Furuhashi said, Hanamiya hates the type of person Kiyoshi is, and when things don’t go his way.
He wants to crush Kiyoshi so badly, both physically and mentally for his fluffy pure ideals. I’d imagine Hanamiya has met people like Kiyoshi, and is usually successful with breaking their pure beliefs, but Kiyoshi has been a brick wall for him.
Him being unsuccessful pisses him off beyond belief.
Things don’t go his way at crushing the type of guy that he hates??? Good god.
His whole point of joining basketball was that “there were a lot of annoying people there”
So of course he has his eyes on Kiyoshi, he’s his main target. An unbreakable one at that.
If anything, I think Hanamiya should take pointers from Murasakibara(fellow Kiyoshi hater lol), because he was more successful at breaking Kiyoshi
Seto - Has his eyes on Imayoshi
Fascinated that this is another smart and ruthless player that knows Hanamiya better than anyone. Imayoshi is almost like another Hanamiya, just minus the rough play, cause Imayoshi frankly doesn’t need it to still irritate the other players all the same.
And the fact that Hanamiya acknowledges and believes that Imayoshi is worse than himself??? Now that piqued Seto’s interest.
The “I don’t really know him, but are you one to talk?” line
Seto is still shocked that Kuroko was the one who ruined the spider web, something that Seto plays a key role in. Hanamiya said that Seirin was the first to “ruin his plans”, so of course Seto was usually successful.
I actually think this is maybe why Seto feels comfortable sleeping during matches, because he doesn’t expect to fail. Every match beforehand was the same song and dance, so he didn’t have to worry about whatever happened earlier in the match, he assumed things would go according to plan as always.
So to see Imayoshi be able to stop Kuroko in the Seirin v. Touou 2 match, the player who essentially caused Seto to fail for the first time, only piqued his interests in the touou captain further.
I don’t think Seto is that passionate about basketball, but failing for the first time made him more motivated to practice(though it doesn’t really matter since the kiridai practices have become more brutal anyway after the seirin v. rakuzan match)
He likely took the things he saw from the Seirin v. Touou 2 match and took it into consideration during practice, so if/when Kirisaki Daiichi meets with Seirin, he’ll be prepared.
Furuhashi - Has his eyes on Akashi
The other characters who have their eyes on Akashi (Nijimura, Shirogane, Midorima) have some noticeable relation to him, (Previous Teiko Captain, Head coach of Teiko, a close friend, respectively).
Furuhashi is the only one who doesn’t. So he’s purely looking from an outside perspective. As far as we know, he doesn’t personally know Akashi.
An obvious reason for the intrigue is just because of Akashi’s skills. That could be the reason why any player may have their eyes on a GoM. The question becomes “Why this particular GoM player?”
I think Furuhashi may be interested in ankle break, and learning it himself
He’s particularly interested in being able to make players kneel before him, instead of simply falling over.
His special ability is the worst of Kiridai so that must have proven tricky
Although Furuhashi is mainly on Kiridai for the roughplay, he perhaps has some interest in improving his basketball skills too.
And who better to look at than Akashi right?
His main interest in Akashi either stems from prior knowledge of him, or after watching the Seirin v. Rakuzan match.
Hara - Has his eyes on Murasakibara
The hardest for me to figure out honestly
Similar to Furuhashi, a case of “It’s natural to have your eyes on the GoM, so why is Murasakibara specifically the one that interests Hara the most?”
He’s also the only one with eyes on Murasakibara
I honestly think Hara simply admires him. His reason for joining basketball was because he thought it was cool right? Murasakibara may be one of the reasons, if not THE reason he thinks it’s cool.
Murasakibara is so lax and yet he’s one of the top high school players in Japan?? That’s what struck Hara.
The two are similar. Purple hair, carefree/childish attitude(though their carefree-ness are different), though they still perform well in basketball despite this.
And actually since fujimaki depicted Hara with blonde hair in the manga, and there’s common headcanon that Hara dyes his hair. If you go with that headcanon, you can think that Hara chose lilac to kind of match Murasakibara(a huge stretch but why not)
Interestingly enough, Murasakibara is also a part of the health committee
Murasakibara also usually has something “in his mouth”, in his case its food. Though he never does during matches, unlike Hara and his gum.
I also like to imagine that Hara used to be the tallest of Kiridai before Seto joined, beating Hara by a couple of centimeters. This annoyed him a bit, could be a pride thing.
And here is Murasakibara who is undeniably the tallest out of the whole league, and he’s younger than Hara.
So I think it might just be the skills and similarities Hara sees in Murasakibara, and his height is an aspiration.
Yamazaki - Has his eyes on Moriyama
The only one with eyes on Moriyama, but unlike Hara, it was a bit easier to come up with reasons why.
Fellow Shooting Guard, fascinated by his unorthodox/underhanded shot
Might also be interested in Moriyama because of him being a ladies man. Not that Yamazaki wants to be one himself or necessarily wants a relationship per se
Yamazaki being in Kiridai gives him a bad impression, even if he’s the most sensible guy. People generally tend to stay away from the group, and thus, away from him.
4 out of 5 are “bad”, what are the chances that the one guy left will be any different right?
The cheerful girls that Yamazaki prefers, or girls in general see him and immediately flee, which bothers him.
Moriyama being a ladies man might give Yamazaki pointers on how to seem more presentable to girls, so they won’t run at a first glance at his uniform.
Yamazaki only knows that Moriyama is a “ladies man” from word of mouth though, he doesn’t know that Moriyama isn’t that successful either lol
Also I just realized the name similarities? Its all a coincidence but
Kiyoshi and Imayoshi rhymes
Furuhashi and Akashi rhymes
Hara and Murasakibara rhymes
And Yamazaki and Moriyama both have “Yama” in their name

Hi! If you're up for it can I request a scenario for Imayoshi where the female reader loses a bet with her friends(let's say over a game, fell free to choose the game or sport) and now she has to confess to him in front of whoever is present in the gym at the moment wearing a sexy bunny costume. She's super shy and nervous but has to do it BC she's true to her word! Imayoshi's as well as the team members reactions as well please! Thanks a lot I hope you like this request enough to write it!
Hi there! Of course I can write this for you C: Hope you enjoy it!
_____________________________
Sometimes you hated your friends.
True to your word, you wait until the end of practice, dressed in the scandalous costume... Why your friends had to bet if the basketball team was going to win or lose was ridiculous... But the other, most obvious, question ringing through your mind was why you chose to say Touou would lose?
Considering who their ace was.
But... Since the infamous Aomine Daiki had joined the team, Touou had grown... colder...
While you continued to support the team, because your crush also happened to be a good friend of yours AND the captain, you just wanted to see them lose... If only to knock them back into reality.. They seemed to have focused more on their own skills rather than work as a team... And you didn’t like the idea of a team sport being played... Well... NOT like a team..
You sneak into the gym, trying not to focus on the ever-growing stares on your form. Why did it have to be in front of his team?? Why couldn’t it have been done in private??
Nonetheless, you continued walking towards Imayoshi, almost stumbling at the whistling directed at you... You wish the ground would swallow you whole.. You vaguely hear a thud, not turning your head towards the first year who fainted from seeing your appearance..
It definitely gained Imayoshi’s attention.
You want to pull the rabbit ears off your head, as well as the stupid cotton tail on your butt.. But the sound of the boots click against the floor, and try as you might, the blush continued to grow deeper the closer you got to him. You swear your friends were hidden in the gym somewhere, recording this moment, so you take a quick gander, almost falling forward as Wakamatsu gives you a look over, before his face turns bright red and he turns his attention away. You hear him yelling at the others to get back to practice, a couple thuds from the basketball hitting their faces, before you stop in front of Imayoshi..
Susa, who was standing beside him, is kind enough to nod his head, averting his gaze from your uncomfortable stance, and joins Wakamatsu in taming the rest of the team.. You hear Momoi gasp a little, before closing the office door, making an excuse to keep the coach busy, before you got in trouble for indecent exposure..
Now you’re standing in front of the captain, and your throat is in knots..
The heat from your cheeks grows hotter the longer you stand there, and a part of your mind is reeling.. What were you supposed to say again??
“______-chan.....”
His voice, deep and hushed, has your attention snapping towards him, and you almost faint at the hidden expression behind his glasses...
“I... I like yo-”
“OH??”
The unexpected guest wraps his tanned arm around your neck, pulling you against his cheek as he smirks, doing a double take at your clothing... Your eyes grow wide, and you find yourself speechless as Aomine gently strokes your cheek, azure hues darkening at your expression...
“If you wanted to confess to me, _____-senpai, you just had to ask me on the roof...” he purrs, shifting his gaze to his captain.
He notices the frown on his lips, and the way his eyes darken dangerously, and he laughs, releasing you from his grasp and lightly shoves you into his chest.
“You better cover her up, Captain.” he leers, doing one more look-over, eyes lingering on your breasts, “Someone else may come and snatch her from you...”
He then walks away, yawning and frowning at Wakamatsu’s yammering, picking at his ear in annoyance..
You don’t realize how long it’s been, but you feel Imayoshi drag you to the men’s locker room, and you almost stumble at his sudden movement.. Though you gasp when he pulls you into a hug, not before covering your bare skin with his jacket.
“If you wanted to confess to me, you could’ve worn a cheer-leading outfit instead....”
You stammer, and bury your face in his neck, unable to form a coherent thought. You didn’t even want to wear THIS... Though...
“W...Well... I made a bet... and I’m not going to back down...” you murmur, looking up into his eyes. You watch his lips curl into a smirk, and he lets out a small chuckle, tucking in a strand of hair behind your ear. His lips find your ear, and he gently nips the lobe before murmuring,
“How noble of you, _____-chan...” he grins, “How about, we discuss this.. confession and bet further over dinner?”
You flush, grabbing the front of his shirt, as if to stable yourself before humming softly.
“I... I’d really like that... S...Shoichi-kun...”

— TAIGA
↘ You are a bit late, but you arrived at the Seirin vs. Josei game safe and sound! You also took a seat upstairs to get a better view of the all players.
↘ You arrived just as Kiyoshi knocked the ball from his opponent’s hand and passed it to Izuki. You immediately crossed your fingers when the ball was passed to Kuroko and then to Kagami. You grinned when the tall basketball player jumped high to dunk.
↘ “Kagami-kun! Win it!” You screamed as loud as you could, waving your arms to cheer for him even better.
↘ Anyway, because of your voice echoing around the gym, Taiga lost his concentration for a moment and at the same time found you at the stands.
↘ His heart was beating much faster than it should, and a big smile appeared on his face, seeing that the girl with he is in love with came to support him.
↘ Unfortunately, his inattention resulted in hitting the hoop and losing the ball. Also a bit of laughter from you spread around the gym, making his cheeks as red as his hair and eyes.
↘ “S-Sorry!” He shouted to the rest of the team, then looked back at you. “The next throw will be successful! I p-promise!”
— RYOUTA
↘ You came on Kise’s matches almost always as his best and only female friend. Unfortunately, you had to go to the dentist that day, so you came a bit late for the Winter Cup match between Kaijou High and Fukuda Sougou Academy.
↘ Luckily, your friend kept you a free seat in the first stand until then, so you could watch the last quarter.
↘ “Ryouta! Don’t give up, you can win this game with the team!” Your scream reverberated between the quieter conversations that commented on the point difference between the players.
↘ Your happy and supporting voice immediately reached the blonde boy who was copying Aomine’s moves.
↘ However, as it is easy to guess, instead of dunk the ball, he withdrew his hands and once again he stopped on the floor looking for your figure.
↘ As soon as he found you, he waved his hand at you and then spun the ball on his finger, smiling widely. “This point is dedicated to you, Y/Ncchi! Just look at me and only me!”
↘ This time, Kise didn’t flinch from the perfect dunk that you cheered loudly at.
— TATSUYA
↘ Your super popular boyfriend has a basketball training with the rest of the Yosen team, and you, as a good girlfriend, came to support him and take him to sushi after training.
↘ You entered the gym very quietly, immediately walking up to trainer Araka and greeting her with soft smile. The woman nodded at you and asked if you finished class and if you came for Himuro. Of course, you confirmed her questions right away, laughing under your breath and saying that you would take him on a date after training. (Yosen coach had a relationship with you like a big sister and a little sister, so she was very eager to talk with you about random things.)
↘ “... Tatsuya!” You shouted to the jumping boy who was just taking his ‘mirage shot’ above another player. The seventeen-year-old glanced in your direction and you waved to him softly. “We’ll go on a date after your training, so you’d better kick everyone’s ass, Tatsu!” You added in an amused tone to which even Masako reacted with laughter.
↘ Of course, your presence, noticed by the black-haired student, made him throw the ball very imprecise so the consequence was didn’t score the desired three points.
↘ “Muro-chin, focus, please...” Murasakibara muttered at his friend and the other snorted under his breath.
↘ “I’ll get another one. Pass me the next ball.” He replied low, then looked at you again, waving you back.
— KOTAROU
↘ You just arrived at the sports hall to support your boyfriend during the match between Rakuzan and Shuutoku. Of course you had with you a cute banner in your boyfriend’s team colors and with his name, which you quickly took out of your black, leather bag.
↘ A few minutes passed before a foreign voice announced a ten-minute warm-up for both teams. You smiled warmly seeing your man bursting with energy.
↘ “Hey, Kotarou-kun!” You screamed, immediately meeting his insane gaze. “Give your best, baby!”
↘ “Of course, I will!” He answered you just as loudly. “Look at this, Y/N-chan!” He added with a big smile, preparing to throw...
↘ ... which he missed. Oof.
↘ Akashi looked at him with a raised eyebrow. The rest of the team and you too.
↘ “OHHHH, YES. I GET IT, BOYS. LOOK THIS TIME, Y/N-CHAN! IT’S FOR YOU. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!”
↘ This time he hit perfectly, which is why you held your banner high, laughing happily.
— SHOUICHI
↘ Imayoshi decided to stay a bit longer on training and practice the three-point shooting. The gym was empty, so he had time to himself.
↘ You, on the other hand, passed Ryou in the school corridor, whom you warmly greeted and asked where Shouichi was. The shy sixteen-year-old immediately squeaked that the shooter decided to stay in the hall longer than everyone else.
↘ That’s why you went to the mentioned place as quickly as possible and very quietly you entered the big building, watching the tall basketball player aim at the hoop.
↘ During the throw you coughed softly and smiled. “Shou-kun when you will done with practice, maybe we’ll come to our houses together?” You spoke tenderly, catching the brunet’s attention.
↘ A second later, the ball bounced off the ring after a while and fell to the ground without scoring a point. The captain hissed and looked at your figure again, sighing.
↘ “Y/N.” He grumble with a smile and you walk slowly towards him, adjusting the bag full of books. “Yes, I’d love to come back with you. Sit down and don’t bother me for another half hour, thanks.” He added gently, looking away from your cute, pouty face.
↘ “Are you blushing?” You asked, smiling. “Don’t worry Shouichi, I won’t tell anyone about this missed shot, I promise.” You added, showing thumbs up.
↘ The problem is that the boy didn’t blush because of a missed throw, but because you, his crush, saw it.
— SHINTAROU
↘ Your boyfriend was just during in the first match of the Winter Cup final, and of course you wanted to surprise him, although the green head forbade you to come.
↘ You took one of the few free seats in the nearest stand and starts looked for Midorima. The boy was just aiming for a basket from halfway the court, and you smiled at it.
↘ You rarely saw your boyfriend play the basketball, so you were counting on a good and fair game.
↘ Nevertheless, you wanted to let Shintarou know that you are here for him.
↘ “Honey! Win it! I love you so much!” You screamed out loud, in the middle of a throw who...
↘ ... barely fell into the basket, making the entire Shuutoku team inhale loudly into their lungs. Midorima felt a unpleasant chills run down his spine as he looked in your direction. You waved at him and he adjusted his glasses, sighing under his nose.
↘ The corner of his mouth twitched in a smile, and he nodded, taking the lead of 40 points for his team (and for you, cute) during the game.
↘ Then, of course, he scolded you, telling you not to come on his matches again because you distracted him, but you couldn’t promise that.

Hello! I'm anon who ask headcanons about Rakuzan boys. Thank you very much! It was great. I was really happy to read it. I like this headcanons and your blog. I like Rakyzan boys too. May I request headcanons (or scenario) about their manager proving to be specialist in getting data and analysis as Momoi? And the reaction to this by Rakuzan, GoM, Kuroko and Momoi (you can tell about their reaction in scenario or remove someone if you want). Thank you very much! This made my day.
thank you for the request! ahhh you’re making me cry (ノД`) super happy to know that you like my writing! hope you like this one too♡ hm, this ends up more as the gom spending time together scenario…
No one knew about your analytical abilities because you never really told anyone about it, and the team never asked you to provide an analysis for them in the first place. So once they knew, they were really shocked.
You watched as Akashi trained the Rakuzan team who were all out of their breaths by now. The emperor was merciless, giving them drills and demanding for their progress.
What was the reason? Well, Seirin came by yesterday for a practice match and the match ended with a draw. But when was a draw ever good enough for Akashi?
After sending the team a murderous glare, Akashi finally allowed them to have a short break. Everyone trudged towards you wearing an expression like a puppy that had just been kicked.
“[Name]-chan, if I die, don’t forget me, okay?!” Hayama was about to glomp you before Nebuya stopped him by grabbing his jersey.
“I’m pretty sure she doesn’t want to be near your smelly self.”
“Ei-chan! You’re mean!”
You giggled at their antics, watching as they gulp down their respective beverages. Not long afterwards, Akashi walked to the rest of you, his face still tense.
You then reached for a file in your bag before giving it to him. “Umm, I made these notes yesterday during the game with Seirin. I hope they can be of help..”
Akashi looked surprised. He took the file from you and opened it in interest.
“Eehh?” Mibuchi moved closer to Akashi to read it too with Hayama closely behind him.
“Wo~ah! These are so detailed!” Hayama took one look and immediately exclaimed, his eyes sparkling.
“Wow, you even drew formation suggestions and weird diagrams.” Nebuya stood behind Akashi to view it with his team.
“This is…” Akashi looked at you with wide eyes, “really helpful.”
“Ah?” You blinked and tilted your head to the side, “Really? I’m glad, then!” You smiled enthusiastically, giving him another file, “I’ve been making these observations from your past games as well.” You held up a finger when Akashi opened his mouth to talk, “..and this one, from today’s practice. I don’t think drilling everyone with the same exercise is effective, Seijūrō-kun. Based on my observations, I think individual training suited to everyone’s special skills will bring out their abilities more.”
Everyone’s jaw dropped. “[Name]-chan! You’re a genius!” Mibuchi’s gasp made you blush, not expecting that compliment.
“Ah, that’s..”
“He’s right. This is very detailed and well thought-out.” Akashi agreed, examining your notes. “Thank you, [Name]. You’re quite analytical.”
You only smiled, happy to be able to help your friends.
With your notes, the team was able to quickly improve their playing. Akashi couldn’t resist telling his friends about your hidden skill and boasting to them about you. Soon, the Generation of Miracles got interested and wanted to see the results for themselves.
“Ah, your team really did improve.” Aomine had to admit half-heartedly when Nebuya made a dunk, ending the game with a 35-21.
Akashi smiled, enjoying the compliment. He turned his head to the rest of the GoM who were watching from the sidelines, all having a serious expression on their faces. “You believe me now, yes?”
“Waah, [Name]-chan, you’re amazing! These notes are so detailed!” While the boys were playing, you and Momoi were busy chatting.
“Ah.. not compared to yours, Satsuki-chan.” You rubbed the back of your neck sheepishly, “But thanks.”
“Heey, [Name]-cchi, make notes for my team too, will you?” You heard Kise call out to you.
“I would like that too.” Midorima pushed his glasses up, looking at you seriously.
“If it’s no problem, my team could really benefit from your notes as well, [Name]-chan.” Kuroko piped up.
“Mine too. I’ll even give [Name]-chin the newest Mauibo flavor as a payment. Fair trade?” You didn’t even realise that Murasakibara was already behind you and Momoi and gasped.
Akashi glared at all of them. “Keep dreaming. [Name] is a precious asset of Rakuzan. Her skills are for me only.” When he noticed the GoM’s amused stares, he quickly added, “Me and my team.”
Happy that everyone is benefitting from your notes, you often made notes for GoM’s teams (while keeping it a secret from Akashi, of course).
“Thank you for your notes, they were really helpful.” Midorima had been visiting Rakuzan on a monthly basis for three months now to give you small presents in exchange for the notes you’d given him (even though you told him that he didn’t have to do that).
“You’re welcome! Thank you for the lucky pen. I scored really high on my last test.” You giggled when he proudly nodded.
“Ah, so I was correct after all.” The two of you jumped when Akashi appeared from out of nowhere, “You have been doing business with an enemy team.”
“Ah, you don’t have to put it like that…”
“You’re defying me, Shintarō. I do not like that.”
Midorima merely shrugged. “Unfortunately, so is everyone else.”
Because of the time you spent together with the other GoM, all of you got closer. They often gave you things and bought you meals to thank you for your notes.
“Huuh? What are you all doing here?”
“Ah, Daiki-kun!” You looked up from the menu to see Aomine walking his way to you with the rest of Toō behind him. “Tetsuya-kun and Kagami-kun is treating me. I asked Satsuki-chan to accompany me as well. Getting free food… ah, it’s the start of a good summer break.”
To thank you, Kuroko had offered to treat you for lunch and said that Kagami would tag along. So you decided to ask Momoi to join you (to which she very eagerly accepted). You were quite surprised to see someone you knew, but also happy. After all, the more, the merrier.
“You’re still doing business with enemy teams I see.” Akashi appeared from behind an equally surprised Imayoshi. “How many times do I have to tell you to stop?”
“Waah, since when was he there?” Wakamatsu whispered, sweatdropping.
“Seijūrō-kun, what on earth are you doing here?” You couldn’t help but laugh at the situation. “Do you want to join us?”
“Eh? Does he have to?” Kagami was a bit creeped out by the Rakuzan captain. “And do we have to pay for his food as well?”
“That won’t be necessary.” Akashi answered, ignoring Kagami’s obvious discomfort. He sat down next to you while Aomine and his team sat at the table next to yours.
“Hmm, should I call the rest of the guys?” Momoi thought aloud, “I heard the Shūtoku boys are nearby!”
“Ah, and Ryōta-kun is modeling in a studio near this place.” You added, nodding.
“That sounds nice.” Kuroko smiled, sipping his milkshake contentedly. “But I only have the money to pay for our meals.”
Aomine and Kagami glanced at Akashi, both thinking the same thing.
“Yes, consider it my treat.” He sighed. “But don’t ask for more notes from [Name], understand?”
Everyone laughed when the two guys looked the other way, grinning.

1. as far as im concerned Kagami never left at the end of last game, that was an extended dream sequence... 2. i also totally agree with you that Kagami is prolly vers, if anything, and it was also MY PET PEEVE when people pinholed him into being a forever bottom at the peak of knb hype. 3. you keep teasing your long list of ships for Aomine PLEASE do him for the character thing lol. So far all your opinions are sending me into a realm of GOOD VALID VIBES
Omg thank you!! (I agree end of Last Game is not canon… or if it is he came right back the next year or smth I refuse to accept he just left forever. And I’m really glad to see the problem of Uke™ Kagami seems to be in decline these days… fewer people are writing for knb in general, but those that are seem to have an idea what a real gay relationship is or at least make him a fucking person and not a walking stereotype, and that’s encouraging to see).
Also thanks so much for sending Aomine! …Strap in for this character essay tho I’ve been known to never shut up about this boy once you get me started.
How I feel about this character
I honestly… can’t even explain it anymore or even try to justify it but Aomine has had a bigger impact on me than, I think, any other character I’ve seen to date. I don’t even know what it is, I do relate to him (and project on him *cough*) but like, there are other characters out there that I have more in common with, and I like his whole arc and aesthetic but it’s nothing revolutionary, so… your guess is as good as mine.
Whatever it is, I’ve been obsessed with this guy for over half a decade, and lately even as the KNB fandom falls into decline, my feelings are not they’re just getting stronger. His development over the course of the series is one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever seen, (that one bit at the end of the Touou/Seirin game with “I want to practice” and his later conversation with Kuroko hit me in the fucking chest every time), and I love how even though he’s portrayed as cold, uncaring and rude, it’s still understood (at least by anyone with some nuance) that that’s not what he’s supposed to be like, and underneath the distant, kind of dickish front, he’s hurting a lot. I’ve talked about the degree to which he cares about people before too, but I still have to give a mention to the ferocious level of protectiveness this guy has for his friends. I could go on about him for ages, tbh, and maybe someday I will write a for-real structured essay to try to get it out there, but the bottom line is I love this character, I have for a long time, and likely will continue to do so long into the future.
All the people I ship romantically with this character
Okay here we go… I ship this guy extremely liberally, even with people he’s never interacted with (hell you could mention any random character and I could probably see my way clear to shipping them with him somehow, I’ll still try to explain my logic if I can). Prepare yourself.
Kagami (of course, AoKaga is the OTP and definitely the one I’ve devoted the most time to, they’re just the best together I’ll never get tired of seeing them figure their shit out over and over)
Kuroko (I may be AoKaga on main, but I’m still such a sucker for the tragic romance between these two, and sometimes it just hits me over the head like a sledgehammer how much I love their relationship. I’ve also got a lot of feelings for AoKagaKuro, they’re such a perfect trio and I need to invest more of my time in the OT3)
Kise (I was a bit late to the game on AoKise, but I definitely see it now. I love their dynamic and how imperfect their relationship would probably be, the complexity of it. sign me up)
Momoi (I don’t see a lot of AoMomo love anymore, but I’ve still got a soft spot for it, childhood friends are my weakness okay)
Midorima (they’re so different but that’s what makes it interesting, and I love the idea of neither of them knowing how to show/tell the other their feelings and being awkward stubborn shits together)
Murasakibara (they almost never interact but I just think they’d have such a soft cuddly relationship and be really chill together… lazy Sunday mornings sleeping in and hanging all over each other that kinda thing)
Akashi (kinda same as Akashi/Kagami, I think the difference between polished upper-class Akashi and scrappy city boy Aomine would be hella interesting… though I’ve also got some angst ideas for them as a couple, after how things went down at Teiko… abandonment and whatnot)
Imayoshi (I got pulled into this ship HARD by Lysapadin’s A Firm Hand series and now it’s no longer a guilty pleasure ship and is actually something I’ll talk about in the open, just… the power dynamic fuck me up)
Sakurai (I fuckin love the idea of an anxious Sakurai crushing hard on Aomine and not knowing how to tell him but when he finally plucks up the courage and prepares himself for imminent death Aomine’s actually pretty chill about it… plus they’d be adorable together tbh)
Wakamastu (you know it’s gotta be enemies to lovers. not just bc I’m intrigued by the love/hate relationship itself but if you look past the attitude issues these two would actually probably have a lot in common. also I’m really interested in how their dynamic might change with Wakamatsu being captain and all)
Susa (idk but there’s one throwaway line in season 3 where Imayoshi says about Aomine “actually maybe he likes you” and that’s enough for me. bring me the rarest rarepair my body is ready)
Kasamatsu (it wasn’t supposed to be SERIOUS but they got me. That moment in the Touou/Kaijo game where Aomine helps him up and “you’ve really done it now, senpai” is legit, plus these two would be such a good-looking couple, honestly.)
Mibuchi (give me the pretty boys. I have no excuse for this except maybe their interactions in my own damn fic again)
Nebuya (sometimes shipping can be as simple as hey I want them to bang right. also they’re both humongous dorks under their respective rough exteriors and I love them)
Moriyama (they bond over liking girls at first and then they’re simultaneously like wait a minute… more Touou/Kaijo ships pls)
Nijimura (I have this idea of them reuniting late into/after high school and Aomine still calls him captain out of habit and Nijimura’s like relieved and impressed to see how he’s developed since the mess at Teiko)
Himuro (they Never interact but they’d be so Petty and Snarky sign me up)
Haizaki (twisted, but I’m interested it’d be so unhealthy and awful bring it)
Hanamiya (even more twisted tbh but there is that moment where Aomine confronts him… and I’m here for hate sex just as much as your typical romance)
Inoue (who, you ask? I know he’s such a side character and no one remembers him, but he’s a big reason for Aomine’s downfall at Teiko and they seemed to be buddies before that, I’d be interested in some kind of reconciliation between them, or a romance, ya know whatever works)
And then we get into crossover territory… MOST of these are not my fault they’re just things I’ve seen and adopted for myself
Kuroo Tetsurou (someone made a moodboard for them, and now I can’t stop thinking about them in a relationship, like damn… it’d be such a beautiful mess I wanna see more of it)
Oikawa Tooru (I’ve seen art, and also the light. These two damaged angsty prodigies, one sharp as a whip the other dumb as bricks, but both of them sassy and nerdy as hell. I could see myself getting addicted to this ship if I took the time to write it out, and I just might)
Yamazaki Sousuke (can’t lie, they look good together. I’ve seen more than one art piece of them interacting and I have a Mighty Need.)
Matsuoka Rin (angry lonely talented boys finding solace in each other’s company? you know that’s my shit. also shark teeth and cop AUs hells yeah.)
Tanaka Ryuunosuke (I don’t know where the fuck this idea came from but I thought of Tanaka trying to pick a fight with “shitty boi” Aomine while in Tokyo and then losing his shit and here we are)
Terushima Yuuji (this one is purely physical… they pretty, I have no other reason, but also this absolute fuckboy, these two would be such a train wreck and I’m here for it tbh)
Yachi Hitoka (okay picture this Giant Terrifying basketball player trying to be less giant and terrifying to tiny shy Yachi and tell me you don’t just want to see that happen. I get Legosi/Haru vibes.)
I’ll spare you the rest of the ideas I’ve tossed around, because past this point it becomes pure crack (if it hasn’t already) but you get the idea. Throw a character my way and I can probably talk myself into it that’s the power this guy has over me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My non-romantic OTP for this character
K considering the List… it shouldn’t be surprising that I also consider this person a romantic candidate, but you know when it comes to non-romantic OTP it’s gotta be Momoi. Platonic or romantic, the way she’s stuck with him all those years and his obvious protectiveness and love for her and how (even though he claims to like big tits) he never even once starts to objectify her in any way, it’s so important to me. Momoi is Aomine’s redeeming factor when he’s at his worst, and she goes to bat for him even while he’s actively trying to shake her off and still tries to protect and help him when he refuses to accept it, even when it means they fight. (Also Kuroko saying “Aomine’s probably looking for you” after their argument puts to mind Aomine running through the rain calling Momoi’s name and that is just… pure). These two have the kind of unshakable long-standing friendship that’ll probably last them the rest of their lives, and no matter what context or form it takes, I can’t get enough of it.
My unpopular opinion about this character
I’ve harped on enough about the fandom’s portrayal of Aomine as a one-note asshole who doesn’t care before, so let’s see if I can change gears a little bit here.
I honestly don’t agree with… the persistent idea people seem to have of Aomine being a narcissist or obsessed with himself? Like yeah, he’s self-absorbed and egotistical, no question, this is not to say he hasn’t got those flaws and others besides… but that’s not the same as being like, physically attracted to yourself. Part of me suspects it was a “the only one who can fuck me is me” joke taken too far, so that now the idea of Aomine being in love with himself is just ingrained into the fanon culture, but if you look at the show itself, personally I don’t see it. If anything, I would think he’d have some self-loathing issues to work through (and that’s part of the reason he gave for skipping practice, he doesn’t want to be the way he is, and specifically says he doesn’t want to increase the difference between him and everyone else). But hey, that’s just my opinion. I’ll get off my soapbox now.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
I mean he says he and Kagami are postponing their match, after their brief one-on-one when he gives him the shoes, and then we never get to see it… Tbh just more street ball with this guy would be great, since it’s what his whole style is based around. Even if he’s just playing by himself… or hell, maybe since he thinks no one at the high school level can beat him, we could get a scene of him trying to go up against adults. Maybe he still beats them and his despair worsens after that, but then it’d have more meaning, and at least we’ll have seen that he’s tried and is not just giving up before he’s seen all of what he could be up against in the future. Plus, picturing Aomine going five-on-one like Haizaki did against grown-ups and still slaughtering them is something I’d pay money to see.

@cherivale
gasp hello it’s miko from q and i’d like to request a matchup please!! uhh a lil rundown on me from my own perspective;; for starters, i’m bisexual, though i lean more towards guys, and i’m a libra! i’m also a full-blown enfp-t. and as for appearance;; i’m 5'2", with shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes! people comment on my big nose a lot too i’m admittedly a lil self conscious about it sksjdjdj
i’m really extroverted, and pretty loud in person. i can say i’ve got a lot of acquaintances in real life, but i rarely consider those people friends and i’m more of a social floater. online though, i absolutely love making friends and i tend to ramble a lot when speaking! i like healthy debate over things and love really deep and meaningful conversations as much as i love small talk. i hate real conflict though, i avoid it like the plague, and would much rather keep things under wraps than voice out my actual concerns.
since i do a lot of stuff — like interschool contests, school paper, clubs, and student council, among others — i’ve gotten a rep for being an overachiever and all. i’ve graduated valedictorian,, but i really am scared of getting burnt out. despite all the things i handle, i admit i’m a procrastinator — i put things off at the last minute because i convince myself i work well under pressure then have a breakdown at 3am fhsksjsj i’m also pretty impulsive, tbh, and while i don’t get mad easily i do tend to get annoyed when someone doesn’t do things ‘my way’ and such. i’m still trying to become more patient as a person and hope to improve on these things.
as for what i look for in a partner, tbh i’d like someone who can tolerate my clinginess? i’m a clingy lover, and i love physical affection and validation. the meganes and the asshole types too we can’t forget that. but honestly i fall for people really easily unless i’m in a committed relationship so anyone who can tolerate me is already a huge, huge turn on. and also someone who supports me during my 3am breakdowns. 100% i will cling to them for life.
thanks for doing these, lily! i’m really sorry for rambling so much aahdjdhd but i hope you have a lovely day! ♡
˚✶⋆。˚☆゚✦
hey miko ! don’t worry about rambling; i’m so ready to match you up. besides, i have a tendency to ramble, too, ahh! hope you like this & have a great day!!
˚✶⋆。˚☆゚✦
i match you up with … 𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈 𝐒𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐔𝐑𝐎 !!
so… i got akashi vibes the moment i read your description ! like, i was thinking of others, of course… but then it just hit me that you’re literally the empress to akashi’s emperor. excuse my trite phrasing but it’s true–
plus a libra & a sagittarius are a good match !
to begin this matchup, i definitely remember the fact you’re an overachiever & you probably overwork yourself too much. with that, i think that’s something akashi would notice immediately.
it’s actually one of the traits he admires the most about you.
but at the same time, a part of him wants you to take care of yourself first & foremost. i can imagine him giving you that look if he sees you doing too much. and you probably sheepishly stare him down because hello, you have work to do & him judging you isn’t gonna change that–
he’s a captain okay- his motherly instincts take over.
to put it out there, akashi seijuro is an impressive student-athlete; he seems like he’s got it all under control, from his impressive academics to his athletic prowess.
he’s got a list of noteworthy accomplishments: a first year captain at rakuzan, captain of the generation of miracles, highly intelligent student, a talented pianist & violinist … there’s not much he can’t do.
which is why i feel he’s drawn to the go-getters like you- the kind of people who work incredibly hard to broaden their horizons and improve themselves.
you’re smart & very capable– you may not see it, however, you have an air of elegance & respect about you (it wouldn’t surprise akashi that people envy you)… but at the same time, you’re also so friendly & outgoing. how is it possible that you can be so intelligent from both academic & social standpoints?
you’ve achieved the status of being both a respected peer and individual who people could go up to and chat with ease. despite your impressive co-curriculars & accomplishments, you don’t act as if you’re above anyone & that’s something akashi truly admires as well. your personality is literally golden.
basically, you’re an amazing human bean. and akashi has so much respect for you, like you don’t even know.
that’s saying something, too ! because akashi strikes to me as the valedictorian type, too!
but like you, akashi isn’t without flaws or insecurities. he knows the pressure that comes with the responsibilities of assuming a multitude of roles, from leadership positions to pivotal positions in school activities. and honestly, he can relate with you. you bond over this fact.
i can definitely see you guys ending up being vulnerable with each other, showing one another the side that your peers don’t see. the side where you’re breaking down at three in the morning and the sheer panic you may get due to procrastinating.
but in the end, you’re there for each other through those high and low points. there’s something about those late nights that turn to early mornings that just hit different.
you’re both awake, and there’s a shared comfort in being together at this time. you guys get along swimmingly in spite of the ungodly hours.
you find yourselves (after the work is done & over with) delving into deep conversations; the kind that are the meaningful & deeply personal ones which leave an imprint in your mind. it’s in these moments where you guys share lasting memories because while it’s not much, the conversations where you bare your soul to one another really is something else.
on a different note, i can see you guys making it a habit to have academic debates with one another. it’s kind of like an intellectually stimulating exercise you do together. and while most probably don’t understand why you guys would do such a thing, it’s one of the things you enjoy the most when you’re together. because the fact stands that both of your minds are so sharp & i can imagine you both enjoy the repartee.
it’s your way of flirting-
if you guys ever clash for real, though, it’s most likely due to you both wanting to address a problem or event in a different manner. or you both have strong opposing opinions on a certain topic that you stubbornly don’t want to change.
essentially, you both are pretty headstrong, and the type to do things your own way. you, however, try to avoid voicing your grievances though.
your patient levels may be a little different (i see akashi as more the patient type than impulsive), but either way, strong personalities end up having a fight here and there. and honestly, there may be a bit of conflict in that.
not everything can be picture perfect; you and akashi acknowledge this fact.
i stand for the fact akashi will definitely notice the way you may be avoiding this conflict, and he’ll probably be the one who tries to resolve the matter with a compromise. that is if his pride allows it.
change of topic- i think it may take some time for akashi to warm up with your clinginess, but once he does… you better believe he’ll want daily affection (from hugs to even just cuddles!). he prefers that behind closed doors though.
akashi surprises himself by how much he desires this display of affection from you & only you-
also, he definitely finds it cathartic & soothing to have you in his arms, with your comforting scent of perhaps your perfume around him.
you guys privately cuddling & just hugging is probably the best way for you two to de-stress, okay? okay.
once he gets used to this kind of affection, he honestly will be displeased to let go. and also– in these soft moments, akashi will be quick to compliment & validate you; it’s in these moments where he feels he can tell you the kind of things that’s been running through his mind.
that itself is a testament of how close he feels to you & he just wants you to be his already-

The Bachelor(s)
Summary: (Sequel to My Best Friend's Wedding)
"It's the night before the Big Day. Are you ready? See you at the Bachelor Parties tonight! #bakahusbands"
Or Daiki and Ryouta are getting married but Daiki needs to get through the bachelor parties first.
Characters/Pairings: Aomine Daiki, Kise Ryouta, AoKise. A bunch of cameos.
Notes: After two years, #bakaboyfriends will finally become #bakahusbands because it took me two years to write up the sequel lolAnyway, here is my actual offering for AoKise Day but I am fashionably late, it seems. There will probably be mistakes and those are mine. But anyway, I won't delay you any more. Hope you enjoy!
Also available over at Ao3!
"Aomine-kun, Akashi-kun has a problem."
Tetsu's eyes were huge in his face like they usually were but for some reason, they gave Daiki an uneasy feeling just then. The feeling didn't ease when Daiki found himself meeting eyes with Akashi who looked too calm and too serious as always..
"Aomine, I apologize." The apology felt sincere and Daiki wished Akashi would blink. "I don't have smaller bills."
Not for the first time in the past few days (weeks, months) Daiki had no idea what was going on. "...What?"
"For the night's… entertainment," Akashi non-explained delicately, quietly, still very seriously and Daiki really wished he knew what he was talking about.
Satsuki only told him to come pool-side where “his” side of the bachelor party was going to be. No one told him he was going to have any part of keeping things organized, never mind having to hold Akashi Seijuuro's hand through commoner pre-wedding festivities.
He probably looked like the actual idiot he was because Akashi's face was actually starting to look a bit pinched. You kind of start to notice his shifting expressions after spending some time with him and he often told you to run laps until you dropped dead.
"I don't have the necessary denomination for tipping the exotic dancers--"
"Wait."
Daiki felt like his head had exploded. He held up his hand to Akashi's face to stop him. He must have really just experienced brain damage because he actually dared to just put his hand up to Akashi's face within stabbing distance.
What the fuck?
Daiki looked urgently at Tetsu. "Exotic--I thought Satsuki said no strippers?"
Tetsu looked at him quietly for a long time.
Big, innocent eyes on his stupid, fucking child-like face.
"Yes, Momoi-san definitely said no strippers," Tetsu confirmed.
Daiki absolutely felt his blood pressure shoot up. "Then why did you--"
"Oh, I understand now." Akashi interrupted Daiki mid-mind explosion #2. Now those eyes were on Tetsu.
Tetsu turned his head and looked right back at Akashi.
No fear, ice cold. He just needed a milkshake and a pair of sunglasses.
Akashi looked back at him like he was about to wage some kind of war. It felt like the Winter Cup Finals back in first year high school all over again. "That was not funny, Kuroko."
In turn, Tetsu smiled a little, the Rakuzan ass-kicking asshole. "I kind of thought it was, Akashi-kun."
And Daiki left them there because he did not need the added stress on his already huge pile of it the day before his wedding. Where the hell was Kagami when he needed him?
Two years ago, Satsuki got married and Daiki had been involved with some tasks and responsibilities for the wedding. He had seen first hand what kind of stress and turmoil one had to go through just for one special day and he had thought himself adequately prepared for it. As usual, he was wrong. It was a whole other ballgame when it was you on the way to be shackled and it was your soon-to-be spouse who was stressed because no, Daiki, we can’t just do it at our favorite outdoor court! Among other things.
And now they were at this beach resort with a bazillion of their family, friends and acquaintances (It’s just about a hundred people, Daiki, don’t be dramatic--) for the ceremony. Tonight was the bachelor parties which took up the bar and restaurant and pool areas. Too many people they knew and vaguely did were milling around socializing, eating, drinking and having a great time before the big day tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Daiki was overwhelmed and kind of tired but that wasn’t anything new nowadays.
"Hey, Aomine!"
Daiki stopped then sighed before just turning towards the voice, not at all surprised to find himself face-to-face with his brother-in-law. Well, sort of brother-in-law.
Hamada Tadashi was a robotics engineer who was involved in developing technologies towards making the world a better place. More importantly, he also happened to be married to Satsuki, thus explaining his presence in the party. What was strange was how he was seated at a table with his old Touou Captain, Imayoshi Shoichi, and one Kuroo Tetsurou. Looking at all three of them together already made Daiki's head hurt a little bit more.
"Are you okay?" Tadashi asked, looking genuinely concerned. Daiki might not have gone out of his way to befriend the guy until he did the right thing and proposed then married the girl Daiki considered his sister but he had always, grudgingly, thought the guy was a decent one. Always friendly and accommodating and wasn't deterred by Aomine's attitude one bit. "You want to sit down with us for a while?"
"You do look kinda overwhelmed," Imayoshi put in and Daiki was pretty sure his old Captain was giving him a surveying look.
Beside him, Kuroo hummed in agreement as he looked around idly. “It’s kind of a madhouse around here right now, huh?”
A madhouse was right and if Daiki thought about it a bit harder, his brain would most likely die. He had no idea how he and Ryouta were able to accumulate these many people as friends and acquaintances through the years. Take for example Kuroo here who was a member of FC Tokyo and was currently sitting in the smart kids’ table. Before Tadashi noticed him, they must have been talking about something brainy, like Tadashi’s latest project that had something to do with robot nurses or whatever they were called. It almost always flew over Daiki’s head whenever Satsuki tried to explain it to him.
“I have no idea where all these idiots came from,” Daiki grumbled as he took a seat beside Kuroo which faced away from the chaos happening in the pool area behind him. Normally, Daiki wasn’t one for socializing but people were here for his wedding and he supposed he could spend some time being welcoming.
“Well, you’re gonna have a wedding in a beautiful beach resort plus food and booze. Most everything’s free,” Imayoshi shrugged easily before taking a sip of his own drink, something amber and expensive-looking. “Are you really that surprised, Aomine?”
Daiki gave his old senpai a bit of a glare. “And all of you didn’t have to come.”
“Come now, Aomine, you can’t be this annoyed about us accepting your and Kise’s invitation, are you?” Kuroo has a hand over his heart, shit-eating smirk on his face, and right then Daiki knew how he and Imayoshi could get along like a house on fire. “I’m hurt. It wasn’t cheap coming out here, you know?”
Was it too late to regret his choice to sit down? It probably was.
“I think Satsuki and Kise did a great job organizing everything, though.” Tadashi came to his rescue with a winning smile, that smile that always came out when he talked about his beloved wife.
“They’re a powerful combination,” Imayoshi noted with a nod and even Kuroo had to smile at that.
It looked like Kuroo had something to add to that but then a loud whoop swelled from the pool area. Daiki looked over to that direction and found Midorima walking away from the ruckus with a bit of a pinched look on his face and the day's lucky item in one hand. It seemed to be a rolled-up sock.
“What’s going on?” Daiki asked, a bit worried that someone might come in and call everything off.
Midorima looked at Daiki like this was all his fault. “An arm-wrestling match.”
“Between who?” Kuroo suddenly asked, looking far too interested for anyone’s good.
“Iwaizumi-san and Matsuoka Rin.” Everyone turned to find that it was no other than Nijimura-senpai who spoke and tagging along was Himuro, of course. It was still kind of strange seeing their old Teiko Captain with Himuro Tatsuya but apparently they were friends. Or something.
Himuro was almost grinning. “We’re on our way to witness an epic gun show, according to Matsukawa-san.”
“Any bets going around?” It was Imayoshi who asked, unsurprisingly, as he rose up from his seat.
“Not that we know of as of yet but we can always ask around, Imayoshi-san,” Himuro replied with playful cheek and it didn’t take long before Imayoshi was walking off with them followed by a very curious Kuroo.
“Are they going to be okay?” Tadashi suddenly asked from the side.
Midorima pushed his glasses up against the bridge of his nose as he did. “I expected better from Iwaizumi-san and Matsuoka-san both but I suppose the occasion inspires a reckless sense of fun.”
It still sounded like Midorima was blaming Daiki but he had known Midorima long enough that he knew just to just ignore it.
"They're grown ass adults," Daiki said with a scoff. "They should know what they're getting into."
Thankfully, Midorima made no further comment and politely excused himself.
The noise level behind them was rising and normally, Aomine would have been in the middle of that. An arm wrestling match between Iwaizumi Hajime, his old College roommate and former volleyball ace, and an actual Olympian? Aomine would have been all over that but not today.
He sighed and he noticed Tadashi just kind of smiling at him sympathetically.
"...What?" he asked with a bit of a frown.
The smile on Tadashi's face barely shifted. "You want to take a breather? I can cover for you."
Daiki actually took a bit of time to think about it. What were the consequences if he stepped away from this circus for a while? How painful would they be? Could he actually trust Tadashi?
"Can I trust you?" he asked and Tadashi got points for not making a fuss about even being asked.
He just smiled that friendly smile and Daiki could really sort of tell why Satsuki fell for him. Tadashi was just a really nice guy.
"I think anyone would want a break every now and then."
And wasn't that true? Daiki was pretty sure Tadashi would even have some science to back all that up.
With a sigh, Daiki got up from his chair and made to go, nodding at Tadashi as he went.
"Stay outta trouble, Hamada. Don't get into any arm wrestling matches or whatever."
Tadashi's laugh sent him off. "See you later!"
Daiki raised a hand and quickly made his escape. Finally.
Walking down the path toward the restaurant and bar area made him realize that it wasn't long before sunset. The path leading to the restaurant cut through a well-maintained garden with a sea view. The sky was slowly turning into a mix of yellows, pinks and purples and even Daiki could definitely appreciate the sight.
Honestly, he could get married anywhere, even just a basketball court (wearing his favorite Jordans, of course), but he had to admit it was a good idea to have their wedding in a beautiful place like this.
"Oh there you are, Aomine-kun."
He had to look away from the view to find Mibuchi Reo coming up to him and he felt an instinctual urge to flee. Mibuchi was one of Ryouta's so-called Groom Squad, a group of Ryouta’s friends from all over who offered their assistance to Ryouta and Satsuki as the wedding approached. Daiki barely ever saw the lot of them the past few weeks without it involving some wedding-related task.
"Hey, Mibuchi-san," Daiki greeted, deciding to try and make this as painless as possible for his own good. "What's up?"
"I'm so glad you're here, Aomine-kun," Mibuchi replied, waving a well-manicured hand toward the direction that Daiki just left from and making an annoyed-looking face. "Imagine if I have to go over there where all the brutes are? No, thank you."
"You were looking for me?" Well, that was a dumb question but Daiki asked anyway.
"Yes, Mr. Husband-to-Be--" Daiki thought Mibuchi was about to reach out and pat or pinch his cheek; he didn't. "--Ryou-chan says to meet him by the Sandbar."
It was probably super sappy to say that his heart thumped when he heard that Ryouta was asking for him. "At the Sandbar?"
Mibuchi waved him off. "Yes. Go on now. He's waiting."
And after what felt like years, Daiki felt like smiling.
"Okay," he said with a nod but before he went, he took a moment to look Mibuchi over. "You look tired, Mibuchi-san."
Mibuchi made a less than elegant, very weary face and Daiki would have laughed if he could but he got it.
"Satsuki-chan runs a tight ship,” he quipped dryly. “But I love her and Ryou-chan so Neesan will persevere. I will tell you this, though, Aomine-kun.”
Mibuchi lifted a finger poignantly. “Yu-chan and I are most definitely eloping."
And that did make Daiki laugh. "I don't know if Kasamatsu-san would agree but hold on just a little bit more. This’ll all be done tomorrow."
"Thank God."
Daiki didn't waste time on making his way to the Sandbar after talking to Mibuchi. Now, the Sandbar wasn't some piece of land that sprouted up from the sea. The people who came to the resort just called it that because there was a lot of sand and there was a bar. It was an area by the beach where a bar and dining area was set up. Low tables were placed down on mats over the white sand where you could sit or even lie down comfortably and enjoy some drinks or a meal while looking out towards the beach. And if you decided to go for a swim, you were just a few steps away to doing just that.
He found Ryouta some ways away from where the early dinner crowd was, looking over to the direction of the sea and away from his phone, finally. The setting sun's golden light reflected on his hair and eyes, making him glow and look even more beautiful if that was even possible. He seemed to sense Daiki's stare as he came closer and he turned his head to smile at him.
"Aominecchi~!" Ryouta called, drawing up the old nickname teasingly that Daiki had to scoff and lean down to give him a kiss for it.
Ryouta smiled when he kissed him back and it made Daiki feel warm. That little detail was something about Ryouta that he would never get over.
Daiki sighed when he drew away. During the kiss, he had gotten a hand down to lightly cup by the side of Ryouta's neck to end up with fingertips caressing his nape. Ryouta was smiling still, looking fond and sweet and also a bit like he was tired. Daiki kissed him again for good measure. When was the last time they were alone and this close?
"Daiki must have missed me," Ryouta observed with a grin a moment later after Daiki settled beside him. Daiki didn't care to occupy his own side of the table, happy enough to just squish up against Ryouta as much as possible that he was almost on his lap. He even leaned his head by Ryouta's shoulder and closed his eyes. When he breathed in, he smelled Ryouta's lavender shampoo layered with the sunblock he must have just reapplied. Ryouta smelled so good and familiar he could fall asleep right then and there.
"Could we leave and go to bed already?" Daiki asked with his eyes closed. He bothered to ask even when he knew the answer would be "no".
A soft giggle and Daiki felt fingers playing with the hair by his nape. A shiver ran through his spine and he almost groaned. Ryouta and his magic fingers...
"But we still have the ending program for the bachelor parties, remember?"
Daiki actually groaned at that. "There's more?" He almost turned his head and nipped Ryouta on the shoulder.
Another giggle, more petting, this time more soothing and indulgent rather than playful. "Just some games and we gotta give a 'thank you' speech for the guests. Poor Daiki. I'm sorry, baby." Finally he got a kiss for his troubles. "You must be tired. Daiki needs to recharge, hm?"
"Do I get a lapdance from you at least?"
Ryouta tugged at his ear kind of hard even if he did laugh at the question. "No, Ahominecchi! Not when my sisters are gonna be watching, come on…"
That tug hurt a little and Daiki frowned but he just grumbled under his breath and took more cuddles for compensation.
If you asked him, this big, flashy celebration was not really Daiki's style. It was something he decided after having to follow Satsuki around for months to make sure she wasn't obsessing over little details too much and that she got enough rest. Wedding planning was stressful as all hell and he would prefer to not have anything to do with it if he had a choice. He could get married anywhere and have it done anytime. All that mattered was that Ryouta would be the one standing with him and that he would say "I do".
But Ryouta wanted the big, flashy wedding because it was his style. In his own way, Ryouta loved the planning, the hassle, the stress. He wanted to make memories and have people to share them with. Plus, Ryouta just loved a good party and why not make his wedding the best one ever?
And since Daiki loved him and knew what it took when it came to getting together with Kise Ryouta, he agreed to the beach resort wedding with the bazillion guests. Also the crazy bachelor parties though his batteries were drained and he would prefer not to see anymore people for the next year or so.
But for now it was okay because he was in a corner away from all that with just Ryouta and he was getting his hair petted while waves coming up the beach sounded in his ears.
"Daiki."
"Hm?"
"You awake?"
He must have dozed off for a bit because when he opened his eyes, the lights around them had been turned on and night had fallen. It was cooler and with a deep sigh, he shuffled even closer against Ryouta. He wrapped his arms around him and was prepared to get settled for a bit longer when a smell distracted him.
A waiter had come up with a bit of a smile, a tray held over one hand. On the tray were two plates of food and he laid them down carefully before them.
One plate had some beautifully grilled chicken and a hefty vegetable salad on the side. On the other plate was a burger, the patty thick and juicy and topped with finely shredded cabbage, paired with wedges of potatoes.
"I ordered us dinner!" Ryouta chirped after sending off the waiter with a smile of his own. "Did you know that they served Teriyaki Burgers here? I thought you might want to give it a try."
His burger definitely didn't look anything like the ones he got at Maji Burger but his stomach rumbled at the sight of it. When was the last time he ate?
"Do we have time for this?" Daiki asked even as he already reached to examine the burger. He wasn't sure about the cabbage but well, he was hungry.
"I asked Momocchi for at least an hour," Ryouta answered as he picked up a knife and fork and immediately pierced one of Daiki's potato wedges. Rude.
Daiki took one of the bite-sized pieces of chicken Ryouta had sliced up as payment.
"An hour?"
Ryouta hummed in answer. "An hour to have dinner and just to hang out." He offered Daiki another piece of chicken with his fork and Daiki obligingly ate it. "I told her I missed you."
Daiki cut up about two bites' worth of his burger and placed it over one side of Ryouta's plate.
"I missed you too…"
Ryouta gave him that pleased, happy smile that always crinkled his eyes, very unlike those polished ones he gave cameras, and Daiki sighed. He reached to wipe off a bit of dressing that was by Ryouta's lip with his thumb.
"Now eat,” he told him. “And you better finish all of that."
Ryouta nodded obediently. "Yes, Daddy."
And then laughed when Daiki scowled and rolled his eyes at him.
Sometimes, Daiki really couldn't believe he was actually marrying this annoying (precious) brat.
The burger was juicy with the right amount of teriyaki sauce and the cabbage added a good crunch. It was pretty good and Daiki enjoyed it as he and Ryouta had their dinner. It was their first time having a meal alone since they arrived at the resort and it was a nice break. They got to catch up a bit with each other and how the whole day had been so far. As usual, their conversation flowed smoothly, hardly a dull or quiet moment.
Daiki watched Ryouta as he told him about his day, voice lilting and always in motion. Ryouta had always been animated, full of life, glowing and golden, and Daiki often had a hard time looking away. He had long grown past the embarrassment of getting caught staring at Ryouta for too long and now, they had come to the point where Daiki knew he wouldn't really be able to look away ever again. And that thought was…
Ryouta was smiling at him, amused, and Daiki knew he was caught just staring again.
"Ah, Daiki is so in love with me," Ryouta sighed wistfully as he lifted a hand to his forehead like he was going for a swoon. "How is he to survive another night without being married to me, I wonder? This must be my curse for being so handsome."
"Oi, stop that," Daiki grumbled as he reached and took the hand that Ryouta had to his forehead, the one with the ring he gave him. "You really need to stop picking up shit like that from Oikawa-san."
Ryouta was laughing again, flushed from giggling too much and that random cocktail he ordered, while he held onto Daiki's hand and looked like, well.
Daiki's Forever.
"Ki-chan! Dai-chan!"
Satsuki appeared with a wave and a smile and Daiki sighed because he knew it was time to go back to the party. Joy.
"Momocchi!" Ryouta waved back with his other hand that was not holding Daiki's. "And Cheekinui too!"
"Can you just go back around and take that demon with you?" Daiki asked as he eyed Satsuki and the plump plushie in her arms. The plushie that resembled Ryouta down to the blond hair and big amber eyes. Daiki had no idea why Kise Ryouta plushies existed but there was probably a method to the madness and it included fangirls and wishful thinking.
Satsuki shook her head just as she handed over the plushie, Cheekinui, to a Ryouta making grabby hands. "You're always so mean to Cheekinui, Dai-chan. What did he ever do to you?"
"It's a trespasser," Daiki answered just as he avoided soft sausage hand pats that Ryouta was inflicting on his cheek via Cheekinui. "We're on a dinner date. And it’s evil."
The plush might look like Ryouta but it was evil to its core, Daiki just knew. He could tell by its penetrating, judging stare.
"Then I’m a trespasser, too," Satsuki said with a shrug and ignored Daiki's answering groan. "It's time for you two to come back and make an appearance at your party."
"Tell them we're busy," Daiki insisted and no, he was not whining. What are you talking about? But he stopped and just sulked a bit instead when Ryouta kissed his cheek.
"Give me just 10 minutes, okay, Momocchi?" Ryouta said as he got up, smiling that professional Kise Ryouta smile. "I'll just freshen up."
Satsuki beamed. "Okay, Ki-chan!"
Ryouta turned to Daiki and wordlessly held out Cheekinui like the plushie was a baby, hands under the plushie’s armpits while his feet dangled. Cheekinui had a wardrobe change--blue and white Hawaiian shirt and khaki shorts, usually he wore a tiny Kaijou jersey--and somehow he had white angel wings strapped to his back. Daiki really didn't get it but he took it like a man and just accepted the Ryouta-looking plush. He was rewarded with a happy beam from Ryouta.
"Be right back!"
Daiki watched Ryouta go with a sigh before sitting back on his chair and putting Cheekinui over his lap. It was weird, sitting a plushie over his lap like it was a child, but he had probably done weirder for Ryouta and would continue to do so in the future for sure.
He felt Satsuki's eyes on him and he turned to meet her gaze.
She was smiling at him, something soft and fond, and it made him just hold Cheekinui closer for some reason.
"Are you ready, Dai-chan?" she asked and Daiki knew she didn't need to elaborate.
He knew what it was she was asking and he also knew his answer.
"Yeah," he replied easily, calmly, and he looked back to the direction Ryouta went.
"I am."

Lol in spirit of the holidays and because why not may I request headcannons of bakugo, kuroo and daiki (sorry for the multifandom) reacting to seeing their fem s/o do the jingle bell rock dance from mean girls xD
Obligatory have to include this. Also, I’m including Daiki because FUCK the rules that’s why. HCs are under the cut! Slight NSFW on Aomine’s part.
youtube
Bakugou:
🎁 The entire time, while everyone else is hooting and hollering, Bakugou is sitting there with his arms crossed and pouting. Does he like it? FUCK NO. Does he like how you look in that little dress? FUCK NO. Does he think you look way too cute up there? FUCK NO.
🎁 Is he lying? Yes.
🎁 Honestly, he’s really flustered. He hates that you’re dancing around like that in front of all these other guys, but more than that, he’s embarrassed to show that he likes the way you’re dancing like that.
🎁 The entire time he’s probably looking around making sure no one gets a little too excited. If they do, he threatens to kill them because of course that’s reasonable.
🎁 What gave you the nerve to actually go up there during the school talent show and do this dance, he doesn’t know. Obviously it’s winning the favor of the crowd though.
🎁 You make eye contact with him at one point, wink, and he nearly explodes.
🎁 The only time that he shows how much he liked it is when you two are alone. Rest assured, he will tell you he’d like a private performance much better.
Kuroo:
🎁 Smirking the entire time. Just a literal, feline smirk that would annoy you to no end if you saw it on his face. He’s enjoying every second of this and it’s so obvious.
🎁 He doesn’t get jealous that other guys are watching you on stage. It makes him kinda proud, actually. Like ‘that’s my girl up there and not yours, deal with it’.
🎁 The moment you walk out, he’s trying to embarrass you. Cheering and clapping, shouting, “That’s my (Y/N)!”. It doesn’t help that Bokuto is with him, since apparently they’re your two biggest fans. The entire time you’re trying hard to keep your composure, but he ends up making you laugh.
🎁 Don’t get it wrong though, Kuroo is 100% affected by you in that slinky outfit and those over-the-top sexy moves. He can hardly keep it eyes off you.
🎁 Kenma is sitting on the other side of him, arms crossed and looking like he wants to go to sleep. When the performance is over, Kuroo wants nothing more than to go back stage and do who knows what with you. Unfortunately, Kenma has to sit there and listen to Kuroo go on and on about you and how great you did, as if he doesn’t already listen to that every day.
Aomine:
🎁 It’s well-known that he’s a huge pervert and, you being his S/O and all, he isn’t afraid to show it.
🎁 He’s sitting back the whole time with his arms draped over the back of the chair, grinning to himself and watching you with bedroom eyes. Oh, wait, he always has bedroom eyes? Well these are ‘I’m going to take that home and make it mine tonight’ eyes.
🎁 He’s so proud that all these other guys get to see what he has and they don’t. Let them be jealous, let them want you - they’ll never have you.
🎁 Man you look good though, and he appreciates every second of it. It’s hard for you to not catch his gaze, returning it the whole time. Eventually, it’s as though he’s the only one in the audience and you’re performing just for him.
🎁 He keeps his cool the entire time though, no getting embarrassed or looking away. When it’s over, he simply claps for you and then stands up. Imayoshi, who was beside him, asks where he’s going.
🎁 Aomine’s blunt response to this, without even looking back, is, “To fuck, what else?”
Oikawa:
🎁 100% has his phone ready and is standing in the middle of the aisle like he’s your number one fan.
🎁 Yes, he already knows the choreography when you practiced it for him. Yes he’s doing it with you as it goes along. Yes, he’s completely embarrassing but too damn cute to be mad at.
🎁 He’s completely a ‘You’re doing amazing sweetie!’ type. He probably yells something along those lines to you.
🎁 Oikawa is making the video look all professional, keeping the camera steady and in landscape filming. However, when he hears some guys beside him talking amongst themselves, saying dirty things that border on offensive, his smile is gone and he’s looking at them the way a captain does - like if they don’t get in line, he’ll make them get in line.
🎁 “What did you say?” He asks, and knowing that beneath the bubbly exterior is a terrible personality, the two guys quickly shut up. Everyone knows you’re Oikawa’s S/O - he’s made it rather obvious.
🎁 And then he instantly goes back to being the supportive boyfriend as if nothing ever happened.
