Heart of Stone just destroyed me on a molecular level.

Odo's story about his name almost made me cry. His name meant nothing until he met her. And then when she orders him to leave, he confesses his love for her?!

And he's so absolutely destroyed, because she's going to die, and he'll die with her.

Then she says she loves him too.

And thats when he knows that none of this is real? That its a trick?

Because he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt she doesn't love him back.

STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - S3E14 Heart of Stone

If anyone is in the market for incredibly good and in character Odo/Kirs Fanfictiion, I have found no one better than Carolyn R Fulton.

She has some of her fanfiction transferred to AO3, though l don’t know how long ago she did that and whether the rest will be added, the link to that is below.

I also compiled an ebook for myself of all the stories she had posted on her old website including her WIPe at the time. ( I probably compiled it over ten years ago) that I would be willing to email folks for personal use. (I don’t want to set it as a downloadable as they aren’t my fics and I do not know Ms. Fulton other than writing her a email once about how much I love her work and she writing a kind letter back, again over a decade ago.)

I just want newer Odo /Kira fans or fans who haven’t heard of her work to enjoy it as much as I still do.
