i've been thinking constantly about that one take on here that was like "the fateswakening trio don't actually need to hide shit because nobody knows what they're talking about". i love to imagine the casual insane lore drops. prince leo found passed out on the ground upon discovering that Odin Dark is actually the prince of a foreign nation but laslow and selena insist it's whatever because he's only fourth in line for the throne, and very terrible things would need to happen for him to actually become exalt

odin should be able to use dragon veins, actually. he just chooses not to because everybody would freak instantly. it's just the blood of naga, guys, chill. WHO THE HELL IS NAGA, ODIN???? oh just the king of dragons who created the legendary blade falchion and blessed the royal family of ylisse. THE WHAT??? the legendary blade falchion? the dragonslayer? naga's fang?

everybody pats corrin on the back about the existence of a sword meant to slay dragons. corrin as long as you don't start talking about how you need to end the world, it's fine. it's literally fine corrin we don't have the sword here.

anyways. yeah. Odin Dark, professional roleplayer, prince of Ylisse.

it really is so funny that he legitimately comes from a line of legendary swordsmen, WAS a swordsman for several years, and then decided being a mage was cooler. Is Odin's role model actually Tharja.
