“Practice” Activity Check

Since this is just practice to get us all used to this again, the only real criteria was something posted that was either a reblogged reply or an original post of some kind in the last 2 weeks (written starters, answered asks, calls for starters, headcanons, or ooc organization posts).

Activity Check Update

“Practice” Check at 11:30 PM PST on Monday, Feb. 10th

This first check in a long time isn’t going to be really serious, so don’t stress it too much! We just want to get the activity checks scheduled regularly and to get ourselves and everyone else used to them again. We might message the people who have been inactive for a long time, just as a reminder, but no unfollows will be happening with this upcoming check.

Future Activity Checks will be held every other week on Mondays at 11:30 PM PST.

Criteria Update

As Vix was talking about in the OOC chat, we’re discussing relaxing the criteria for the activity checks a bit, but what that will look like will depend a lot a what we see with the first few checks and may evolve over time as we notice new things to consider. Overall though, we want them to be a bit more responsive to everyones’ needs as busy individuals (by acknowledging things like busy holiday seasons or temporary conflicts) and as creative people (by including original content such as individual drabbles or headcanon posts). 

Tldr: We’ll update the rules page soon, once we discuss it a bit more, but our end goal is something less semantic and more intuitive.

Since we’ve done our roll call and heard back from most of you, we’ve updated the Character List page with all the changed we think need made. If you are one of the people being unfollowed (because we didn’t hear back) but wish to rejoin or stay, just message us and we’ll set things right! But for now, the changes stand as follows:

Revival: Headcount

Hey guys! This is just a repost of the announcement on the Discord. Hopefully, it’ll reach the few people we haven’t heard from:

“I know Vix has been talking about it in the ooc chat recently, but I’m (”I” being Rissa) back to help admin and try to revamp and revive things!   

That being said, one of the first things Vix and I feel we need to do is figure out who's still here and confirm which muses each mun intends to keep, so that we can start the process of updating the masterlist and whoplayswho page. So, we basically want to do more of a formal head count and roll call than an activity check (We won't do an actual activity check or post unfollows until later, after we've given everyone fair warning, so don't worry!) 

All we need from you guys is a message on here or to the Tumblr blog saying you're here and intend to keep X,Y,Z, etc. muses (try not to DM Vix or me though, since we don't want the messages split between us). 

If there are muses you want to drop, that message is also a good time to let us know. Also, if you've been thinking about changing your blog url, now is a good time to do it while we're updating things anyway! 

We also intend to reach out to anybody we don't hear from, so that we give everyone a fair shake. We have an idea of who's actually still here since we talk to a lot of you, but we want to be fair.

Not really a translation post, just a couple things I noticed on this page. One is the way the second dialogue box is written horizontal instead of vertical. Japanese is almost always written vertically so I’m not sure what the reason is other than to hint at the fact that Aroniero is two beings/heads and signifies one head saying the vertical phrase while the other says the horizontal one. The second is the way katakana name is written.

I’d really love to know how Kubo came up with this name because I can’t make anything from it. It doesn’t help that both L and R in english are written with ル making it difficult to tell which is which.
