Don’t react. Don’t turn around and they’ll just get bored and give up. That’s how you dealt with bratty kids, right? If he doesn’t let them see how much they’re bothering him, they’ll lose interest.

That’s what Moonbok tells himself, but the calls and shoves are getting harder to ignore. With every step he had to remind himself not to break into a run, because then they really would follow him. Just stay cool until you got to the train station, because there’s no way they’d start a scene there.

Then he could run like hell once he was at the interchange, with the throng of commuters to lose himself in. But until then--

“Ya! Moonbok! Why aren’t you talking to us? You’ve gotten really rude lately~” “What a bad example to show to your younger classmates, y’know?” “He thinks he’s too good for us. What’s the problem, Jang? Are we not as cool as all your MGA friends?”

Pulling out his phone in an attempt to at least raise the volume of his music to try and drown them out, Moonbok let out a squawk as it was suddenly ripped from his hand with such force that his earbuds are pulled out too. Smirking at him; the ringleader, Park Jiwon held the phone above his head.

“Give it back, Jiwon. There’s no need to--” “Answer the question, ‘hyung.’ How come you don’t talk to us anymore?”

The younger but significantly taller male leans in closer, forcing Moonbok to take half a step back, only to be shoved forward again by Seulgi.

“How come you’ve been shit-talking us in your raps?”

Fuck. How had they known about that performance?! Did Junse upload it somewhere?!

“Look, I can explain. Give me my phone and I’ll--” he began desperately, eyes darting around for a professor or someone who’d intervene.

Not that anyone ever had.
