What does Monarch perceive as a threat? :0 Does an unfamiliar face in the pizzaplex trigger that? Or is it just for immediate threats to themself and kids?

Their system assigns a list of 'assigned' threats, i.e: physically threatening adults and/or animatronics for example. Think of it as like a rating system, technically. The only times that, say, Security Mode comes online is for emergencies, or immediate/instant threats (that would be a 5 Star Rated Danger in their system). Whereas an unfamiliar face is on the lower ends, 1 or 2 Stars, it depends on the face and for their own judgement.

Ok so I'm gonna info dump about my newer AU, S:F12

Basically!! It's a racing AU 🏁 !

The races have no rules (as in you can use any vehicle, weapons etc you want... or none if you're sonic), and anyone can enter if they win the preliminaries, but thing is, people CREATE or genetically enhance others just to enter them which in turn makes it so there's a huge black market for that kinda stuff, and the races are mostly controlled because of that by the people with the least morals and most money.

But one thing's for sure, there no rules sure, but the races should never be fixed the boss of the race, even though he does like the money circulating from the betting on races, he's just loves the racing aspect itself (and yes, big boss is in fact Eggman). In this AU he's an extremely powerful man so cops stay out of his way when it comes to these... but only if the entrees are only beastmen (or mobians whatever I don't like that name) because they're seen as "lesser" than humans, think VIVINOS's alien stage for example, the situation is very similar to that!

Also! The races are sponsored by a certain fashion company.. yep! Honey sponsors the races and makes outfits herself for her favourite racers. You might think it's a bit odd considering she's a beastman and how they mistreat them usually in that industry but she does what she could to just get by and not find herself in that position too. Sonic is a bit wary of her because of that but they become somewhat friends later on and I'll properly get into detail about that some other time-

Ok all of the main sonic guys are entered in these races, all of them representing specific companies or powerful groups... except for sonic who enters independently because he wanted a challenge (no one knows him since there is nothing for him to same etc)

In the end, I'm guessing sonic would manage to destroy that whole event from the inside out while making other racers help him out!

I love how you're characterizing them, Shadow is used to being/has been treated as a threatening object/being out of control so his immediate response is to act accordingly even through the fear, but Sonic is so used to being the one protecting and saving others because he's so used to having control of himself that he's just panicking and acting irrationally even if it could risk others.

Sonic isn't being foolish but he's out of his element and reasonably terrified, Shadow is panicking as well but he's trying to process and rationalize things immediately because that's who he is. Sonic is act first ask questions later and Shadow is ask a few questions before acting. They're both quick to jump the gun, Shadow assuming sonic is covered in Tails entrails and just blurting it out to him AS SONIC IS PANICKING and Sonic trying to run off despite knowing he's potentially hurt someone.

Sorry I have no other way of expressing myself towards this ask, my brain is pudding, just know that I really enjoyed reading it and appreciate it a whole lot.

Does Fairy Sun's light magic ever act up when he sneezes? Like accidentally making balls of light as he sneezes, or just a whoosh of glowing powder-like stuff going everywhere

I like to imagine him sneezing and accidentally making some little creature's day just a little more warm/bright and exciting

Surprisingly no, and that's for all the fairies (least the 3 you've properly met.)

Sun has pretty good control of his magic (even the vines don't appear as much as they used to when spooked). It doesn't even act up when he's sick.

The only time it could act up is if he happens to sneeze while actively using his magic. What happens then, not entirely sure but it's probably hilarious.
