Tossing and turning. Flashs of green light. Screams. Ivy hated Halloween. She hated Voldemort for taking her parents away from her. Suddenly a weird calmness enters her dreams. A redheaded woman, with green eyes, in her late teens or early 20s appears. Lily. "Mum?" Ivy asks the woman. "Hello, Ivy." The woman says. "How are you here? Am I dead?" Ivy asks her mother. It had been 13 years to date since Ivy and Harry had been left as orphans. 13 years since Ivy saw her mother die in front of her. "Shh, you're alright dear, you're not dead, I'm just in your dreams." Lily explains. "You have been so brave." Lily extends her ghostly arm and Ivy feels a breeze in her hair followed by a warm sensation. "Your father and I, are so proud of you, so very proud. You have been so strong. You are resilient, just like the ivy I named you after." Lily comforts her daughter. "I miss you. Can't you come back?" Ivy pleads, she wasn't thinking clearly, she just wanted her mom. "Unfortunately no, but I'll be here watching over you until you pass on. You, my sweet girl, are so brave but I must go." Lily says before her translucent figure fades away, leaving Ivy alone.

Sirius stumbles down the street, toes catching on the pavement as he tumbles through the road, ears ringing with the silence that filled the Potters’ home, arms aching with the loss of the weight of his nephew.

Ahead, a fat man ducks into an alley, movements jittery and sudden as he glances to make sure nobody watches.

Sirius is watching, the dog barking in his mind the only break in the deadly silence as he darts forward, more hunter than man.

Because we are in the Marauders fandom and happiness is basically illegal (especially on a day like today), I present to you this shirt fic about the happenings of October 31st in 1981, aka the downfall of James Potter, Lily Evans, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew :))
