Becoming a PADI Divemaster is a dream for many diving enthusiasts, and Oceans 5 Gili Air provides an exceptional platform to take this step toward a professional diving career. However, as with any professional certification, understanding the costs involved is essential. Unlike some other dive centers, Oceans 5 Gili Air adheres strictly to Indonesian immigration laws, which prohibit offering free courses in exchange for labor. This ensures compliance with legal standards and emphasizes the quality and value of the training provided.
In this article, we’ll take a detailed look at the costs of the PADI Divemaster Course or Internship at Oceans 5 Gili Air, highlighting what you get for your investment and why it’s worth it.

"A tropical ocean paradise loved by divers for its colorful coral and fish and more recently by scientists for its unique marine life. With plenty of large and small fish, this is an ideal diving location."
Hi, I’m Catherine and this is my first Sims 3 world! My intention was to create a smaller world that can be used to play the Island Paradise expansion pack in a more compact way. (It’s technically medium-sized, but a lot of that is water.) I based this world on the area of the same name in the game Endless Ocean: Blue World, granted with quite a lot of creative liberties taken. Gatama Atoll is situated in the fictional country of the Pelago Commonwealth, which is in Micronesia.
Isla Paradiso is stunning and there are great fixes out there, but I still prefer to play smaller worlds for the sake of performance and convenience. So here’s a small world meant for boats, houseboats, resorts, lifeguards, merfolk and of course diving!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While Gatama Atoll now features a town, the original area is still for diving, with 5 dive lots based on some of the areas in the game. On the islands surrounding the dive lots are small nature areas similar to those found in the original Gatama Atoll — you can find animals here.
Nearby is Nineball Island, a relaxing and homey place, ready for divers to move in and make it their hub of operations. This is also an area from Endless Ocean: Blue World.
The town features all the base game rabbit holes as well as a few community lots and the Festival Grounds, and empty lots for expansion. Additionally, there are houses situated right near the water, and ports for houseboats. The empty 64x64 lot is intended for you to build your own resort (or place one you downloaded), though of course you can place your resort elsewhere if you wish.
Like Isla Paradiso, Gatama Atoll has mysterious islands surrounded by fog, waiting for discovery. Only a few, though; one unlocked through diving, one through resorts, and one through lifeguarding (exact way to get each island will be included below).
Gatama Atoll requires Island Paradise, Seasons, Pets, and Sunlit Tides. I specifically made this world with blam’s ea store files, as my decrapped sims3packs did not work in CAW. Therefore, I believe this means you also need the Sunlit Tides store files to be non-decrapped in order to play this world. My recommendation is to just pick them up from blam.
This world definitely isn’t perfect, considering it was made by a complete novice. Here are some disclaimers:
The landscaping is relatively simple, both because of performance concerns and because I lack skill in this area.
The only lot I made is Nineball Island + I edited the houseboat. The other lots are all from Sunlit Tides or Isla Paradiso.
The world is also definitely on the smaller side and doesn’t have room for a lot of extra lots.
Also, you need to be farther out in the ocean to snorkel, you can’t be close to the beach.
The notifications when your sim levels up their diving skill are gonna say the Isla Paradiso diving spot names (e.g "Rocky Reef"), not the Gatama Atoll diving spot names. Please refer below for a proper guide on when you can access each diving spot.
This world was made in version 1.67 (Steam)
Required mods
NRaas register - with this mod, ban horses, unicorns, paparazzi and deer for a smoother experience. You don't want that stuff in this world.
Dive cave reset fix - I used one and only one dive cave in this world. With this mod, you need to reset that dive cave when you see it, just once. Please do not forget to reset the cave so that your sim doesn't get reset when trying to enter.
Interact on sloped terrain - The world is kinda curvy so I think having this is a good idea.
Recommended additions
Surf’s Up Sun and Fun Collection - so your sim can surf, and also have some cute CAS stuff.
Sun, Surf and Sand - cute beachy buildbuy stuff.
Island Villa - ditto^
Tiki dining room - tiki buildbuy stuff
Tiki living room - ditto^
Tiki outdoor living - ditto^
Yoga mod by twinsimming - for the tropical paradise zen.
Mermaid Power mod by xantak22 - improves mermaid gameplay.

Feel free to do whatever you want with this world! I have no conditions. You’re welcome to tag me so I can see, too :)

Cambugahay Falls is arguably the best waterfall on Siquijor Island that is most famous for its tiered levels, strikingly blue water, and freshwater cascades, all of which are surrounded by lush rainforest.
Cambugahay Falls is located in Lazi on Siquijor Island. From the main tourist area of San Juan, it’s approximately a 30-minute drive to reach the falls. The first level of the falls features a large natural swimming hole and some man-made structures including rope swings, bamboo rafts, and a wide set of falls. It’s an adventurer’s playground! To use the rope swings and rubber tubes down at the falls, the cost is only PhP20. On the other hand, to use the bamboo raft to get a close look of the falls, it would only cost you PhP100. This includes all the photos and videos of the talented rope-swingers (haha I don't know what to call them lol).
Most people stay on the first tier, especially when they clock the Tarzan swing on the right. However, there are two more levels to see, though the ones you will want to spend time in are the first and third.

A trip to the Sambulawan underground river offers a 3-in-1 experience. Firstly, you will trek down a steep terrain into the cave, navigating a combination of stone steps and a concrete ladder. Secondly, the rough rock and narrow passageways inside the cave make for an adventurous journey. And finally, the river itself is deep, but with the assistance of a swim vest, you can enjoy a snorkeling-like swim in its waters. This underground river is known for its narrow passageways, which make it impossible for even a small boat to navigate. Instead, visitors can explore the river system on foot, as it stretches for approximately 200 meters.
Quite frankly, Sambulawan Underground River is probably one of the best things we've done in Siquijor, next to Cambugahay Falls.
Actually, there are quite a few alternatives to Cambugahay Falls in Siquijor. If you fancy visiting another falls in the area then head to Lugnason Falls. While they weren’t as impressive as Cambugahay they were really quiet even when we went on a Saturday afternoon. For the most part we had the lovely jungle pool all to ourselves. It’s quite small but still big enough for a few lengths.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Salagdoong Beach is attached to Salagdoong Beach Resort Siquijor on the far east corner of the island in the town of Maria. It boasts of two beautiful coves lined with coconut palms and white sand shorelines. Just off the shore is a colorful reef that is great for snorkeling and swimming.
The cliff jumping is the main attraction at this location and one for the thrill-seekers! There are two diving boards here, one is around 5 meters and the other is 10 meters. Jumping from the top of the cliff into the turquoise waters below is one of the best things to do in Siquijor!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Paliton Beach is rated as one of the best beaches in Siquijor for its glistening white sands and palm tree fringed shoreline. This particular beach faces west making it the perfect spot to watch the sunset on Siquijor Island. A few oceanside cafes and beach bars are dotted along the beach, serving up cold brews and delicious meals. Here, we ate a lot of seafood, and all the sea urchins were served to us fresh. We even had the chance to watch the locals prepare them!
You can find several tree swings tied to bent palms that you can have a turn on and swing out over the water’s edge (human drone another! haha)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pitogo Cliff is located at the southwestern side of the island facing the breathtaking Sulu Sea. The serene cliffside gets its name from the Pitogo plant that grows in the area. There are also 10- and 20-foot jumping-off points available, which can be used even during low tide.
We didn't jump, but the alluring view of the vast ocean kept us invested and exploring. Worth the visit!

The Importance of Interest
It's been a little while since my last "on making a game" installment, and I'm in a mood to talk about interesting things... so why not Points of Interest in light of my current pet project Everwyld?
I'm in the midst of developing a world that has been truly abandoned, where players have few intelligent entities to interact with - no people, gods, robots, or holograms. This is, in a sense, the survival game of survival games: players will only have the tools they can create and knowledge they can accumulate for themselves. And if I'm being honest, I'm taking a not-insignificant amount of inspiration from Subnautica, since they made this vision an excellent reality.
(Going forward, blanket spoiler warning for locations in Subnautica. If you haven't played it and don't suffer from thalassophobia, you certainly should.)
The first challenge, and one that's doubly difficult in the analog format I'll be running this game while I develop the setting, if building player investment through their interactions with the world. Different genres and titles accomplish this in different ways.
The classic survival-crafting game Minecraft has kept players invested over its service life through the addition of new features, biomes, mechanics, the introduction of multiplayer, and a thriving, supported modding community. The multiplayer survival-crafting FPS Rust created interest for players in the world through the inclusion of other players, and the option to cooperate or resort to every-man-for-themself anarchy. Subnautica accomplishes this investment of players in the world through the inclusion of alien environments. This doesn't just mean the alien lifeforms, but the concept of the deep sea and what the various environments look like - which are often shockingly accurate excluding the giant man-eating fish - are alien to so many people who don't have the means or guts to dive through the deep ocean, and I count myself among them.
Something all of these games (and more) include to further create a player interest in the world and exploring it, though, are points of interest. None of them are unbridled wilderness. Minecraft's structures range from thriving villages, to abandoned mineshafts and shipwrecks, to the strongholds. Even the Nether and End dimensions have their own native structures. Subnautica has not only the various debris fields from the Aurora, but the Enforcement Platform, the submarine alien facilities, and the Degasi bases. In Rust, a variety of monuments dot the landscape with various traits, loot, and benefits.
Not only do these structures and points of interest enhance the world, but they change how the player will interact with it. A Subnautica player may build bases near major resource deposits or repurpose existing structures for their benefit. A Rust player may establish their base near an easy resource cache, like the farmable Underwater Rocks. In Minecraft players may use large structures as a base, or as a point of reference when navigating the functionally infinite world.
So what kind of points of interest will I be including in Everwyld? Well, as I said, the world was abandoned. It's a region largely reclaimed by nature, so much so that the artificial blemishes have all but faded. My players will start in a place truly devoid of signs of settlement, a beautiful and serene glade... (which I've taken the liberty of rendering in Unreal Engine 5 here)
Tumblr media
Nearby are most of what they will need to survive: a source of flowing water, a game run that cuts through the forest, but what encourages them to venture from this serene space will be their curiosity as to what happened to them, and how they can hope to get home. This world is full of natural dangers, but if they brave them and survive they may find the remnants of a village where the stones jutting from the ground make odd squared angles, or a monolith that a tree has grown to encompass.
Mayhap they'll uncover something better preserved underground, or through some advanced means, that will hold answers and tools for them to delve deeper into the mystery and find their way home.
Until next time!
