@shkrmpp, who was my first mutual that i'd never met before here. thank you for asking about jellyfish and being such a bubbly presence on my dash. shrimpy writes x reader content and creates adorable art!! their hair dye series with the leech twins is super cute and i find myself thinking about teh floyd part in particular very often ^^

@fukashiin, with the prettiest themes and the gorgeous art style. winou CONSISTENTLY writes absolute bangers that make me so giddy. this one in particular is one of my favorites, and her writing style reminds me of a soft summer breeze. she's such a bubbly person and its so fun talking to her, even if we don't talk often. ^^ she's one of the three people that keeps my deuce content afloat.

one could say many things about the beloved @hisui-dreamer!! from the way she adores her friends to teh way she writes, rinna is always soft and sweet. she radiates comfort and is such a soothing person, i feel so safe around her. she writes x reader content and every single piece is its own masterpiece. she's one of my closest friends on here and i wish nothing but the best for her every day.

@the-v-lociraptor has STELLAR art. she was one of my firts mutuals on twst tumblr and i was terrified of talking to people but her vibes were very much "i am nice you dont need to be afraid" and sniffling scared me was like "OKAY I CAN TALK TO YOU" LMAO but yeah. she draws people so,,, full. thats the only word i can use to describe it. they just look s soft and alive and its really so amazing. i love her art so much!!

@siphoklansan is another artist!! i think about the art she drew from loona's heart attack with twst character weekly basically. it has been stuck in my brain since i started following her. sippy, its trully beautiful how you mix your culture and your art together. i remember you talking about it when you were drawing fairy gala stuff and it was just stunning. please keep doing what you're doing!! i hope your hiatus proves restful <3

Okay, I must be blessed by Apollo or somethin’ because this is getting ridiculous.

All the freaking coincidences in my Twisted Wonderland fanfic aside, mostly featuring Eleanora and Ellis’ names, Mal’s mood changing weather, having to tear the Ink Monster from the Overblotter, and Grim scratching up Yuu’s hands, let’s talk about how RIDICULOUS THIS IS like-

I played Ocarina of Time when I was small, on the N64, and never beat it because I refused to let Link wear anything but the blue tunic. Cut to, like, fifteen years later, my sister convinced me to play Breath of the Wild. I do so, I become obsessed, now I wanna write a fanfic.

Okay. I love Time!Link, he is the one I grew up with. Let’s involve the Ocarina. Which OC should I use? Hmm. Definitely has to be Hylian, but Eleanora and Irene don’t sound like Hylian names. Oh, I know! Let’s use Iliana; it’s pretty, sounds Hylian, and will make it easy to differentiate from the other fics since I have so many of Irene.

Hrm. I should watch Zelda playthroughs so I know the lore. Let’s start with Twilight Princess! I know he’s the descendant of Time! Link. Wait. His best friend is named Ilia? Holy frick, that’s crazy, but heck yeah. Just means Link and Iliana’s friendship will be destined.

I come up with the plot for the fanfic. Decide to make Iliana and Iliandra. Have Iliandra be the many greats descendant of Time and Twilight. After Iliana makes her appearance, she goes from GODDESS STATUE TO GODDESS STATUE PLAYING ZELDA’S LULLABY TO SPEAK WITH HYLIA, the goddess that brought her here and merged her soul with Iliandra’s own, TO RECOVER THE MEMORY OF THE SONGS ILIANDRA HAD REPRESSED.

I start watching a Skyward Sword playthrough to make sure I’m writing Hylia decently. I get to the second to last episode. ZELDA explains that she HAD TO GO FROM GODDESS STATUE TO GODDESS STATUE TO RECOVER HER MEMORIES OF HER TIME AS HYLIA.

I consider myself a creative person, but I can not make these parallels up purposefully. I am too dumb for that kind of mastermind shenanigans.

I am clearly a child of Apollo that has been unclaimed and was never brought to Camp Half-Blood. I don’t know what else it could be.

Ellie has honey-blonde hair that is cut short, tips grazing her shoulders, in the form of ringlets that frame her face. The bottom part of her hair is pink dyed ombré style! She has upturned eyes that appear to be innocent with long eyelashes, I have a little Headcanon that Eros children tend to have either a doll like appearance or at least appear to be somewhat innocent looking. Despite looking nothing like her father, she had inherited Eros’s red eyes. She had full pink lips that almost always set in a happy smile. Eleanor has a high bridged nose that softens at the end, her nose slightly flares up whenever she laughs. Her skin tone isn’t exact, but it’s pinkish in tint and fair. Her face is soft and round with a sharper chin. She has a beauty dot on her right cheek. Standing at 5’6, Eleanor has a well-built body which is a mixture of amazing genes, healthy diet and extensive training. Think of Maki from Jujutsu Kaisen. And like most demigods, she has permanent scars, though she prefers to cover them up. One of her most prominent ones would be from the battle of Manhattan, where she had been stabbed in the shoulder by the opposing side. 

Irene looks similar to her older sister. Despite having blonde hair, her hair is golden in colour, straight and reaches her hips. Though often she puts on a pony tail.  She has upturned eyes that are amber in colour. They have a flair towards them and her gaze is confident. Having the same lips and nose as her older sister, Irene had faint freckles sprinkled on her face. Her skin tone isn’t exact, but it’s pinkish in tint and fair. Her face is sharper and square in shape. Standing at 5’11, Irene looms over her sister at the age of 17. Her body type would be similar to Annie Leanhart ( except the height!) She has so many small scars, so much more than her sister. But that comes from Irene’s recklessness and jumping into fight without a set plan.

Chapter 1

It was all Sophie’s idea. At least, that’s what Nate would say if asked. He was serious when he said he wanted to get out of the game. But he also missed his team. Nothing could ever replace Sam, but Eliot, Hardison, and Parker did a pretty damn good job. Of course he’d never admit that he missed them, or the chase, or taking down corrupt CEOs. But he did. He missed it far more than he ever thought he would.

Sophie would gladly admit that she missed her children. She video chatted with Hardison and Parker when they first moved on, and she called Eliot occationally to complain about Nate, but after a while, they drifted apart. The three musketeers had started something bigger, but they didn’t really talk about it with her, and she had lost touch before the plan had come to fruition. She wondered how they were doing, and she begged Nate to just visit them. It had been 10 years since their last visit. In that time, they had traveled the world and then some in that time. It was time to go home and see what the kids had done in their absence.

“Wow, the Brew Pub is looking really good! I love the new counter tops!” Sophie marveled as she ran her hand down one of them. Hardison gave Eliot a knowing look. Eliot rolled his eyes in response. They had been fighting about what kind of countertop they should get for months. Eliot finally just bought the countertop he wanted without telling Hardison, who found out and quietly changed the order.

“Oh, boys it’s so good to see you! It’s been so long!” She said finally, engulfing both of them in a tight hug. They wouldn’t say it out loud, but both of them missed getting hugs from Sophie. “Where’s Parker?”

“She’s in the back, there was an issue with one of the satillites, so she’s trying to fix it via webcam,” Hardison answered nonchalantly.

“The Brew Pub has satilite restaurants?” Sophie asked, surprised at how well it was doing. The boys blinked and were silent for a second.

“Oh, no, we expanded Leverage Inc. to be nation-wide. We might start an international branch in the fall, but it doesn’t look promising. We might have to push back the date a while,” Hardison answered her. Sophie’s eyes grew wide.

“Wha-what does that…entail?” She was awe-struck.

“Hey, when did the Brew Pub need a whole extra level of parking?” Nate asked as he entered the Brew Pub.

“Nate!” Sophie beckoned him over and he slowly meandered towards the small group. “The boys have some exciting news!” “News? I mean, it’s not exactly a ‘new’ thing, Sophie. We started recruiting about two years after you left, and then it all spiraled out from there. This is our what,”

“6th full year,” Eliot finished for him. Both Nate and Sophie stared at them for a full minute, not saying anything. The only reason they stopped, was because Parker stuck her head out of the back door.

“Guys, we have a bit of a situations. Sophie! Nate! You guys came back!” She squealed the last part. When Hardison and Eliot moved toward Parker, Nate and Sophie followed suit.

“Which one is it?” Eliot asked, pulling up a map of the United States. A string of red dots fell down upon the map, signifying where the satilite buildings were.

“Our New York office,” Hardison answered, typing on his laptop. “If we leave now, we could totally make in like two hours.”

“Wait, how are you going to get to New York? We’re in Portland!” Sophie exclaimed.

“We bought a small plane when we started branching out farther.” Hardison said this as if it was common knowledge. Sophie and Nate looked at each other in complete confusion, but they followed their kids out of the Brew Pub and into the busy streets of Portland. Eliot flagged down a taxi, which took them to a private airport.

“It’s not a particularly big airplane so we stay under the radar,” Hardison explained as he helped Eliot open the door. “And it helps that Eliot has his pilot license.” And with that, they were off. Nate and Sophie held back the thousands of questions they had for each of them. Only Sophie actually asked any questions.

“Did you two get married?”

“Nah, it seemed stupid.” Parker answered, typing away at her phone.

“We’re still working out the kinks…” Hardison clarified, looking disappointedly at Parker. She didn’t notice.

“Ok, so from what I can get from the lead there, they were hacked. Not like a normal, Hardison-can-just-type-on-his-computer-and-fix-it type hack like a really, really bad one. And honestly, they’ve got some of the most talented hackers we have at the New York office.” “Yeah I was thinking of maybe movin’ some of ‘em? Just to spread the wealth to the other ones.” Parker thought about it, but she shook her head. “They’re family, just like us.” And that was the end of it. When they landed, they were greeted by the head mastermind of the New York Branch.

“Arlana Foely, we spoke on the phone.” She extended her hand to shake Parker, Hardison, and Eliot’s hands. “Our car is this way—“ She cut herself off an did a double take. “Are you…Are you Nathan Ford and Sophie Devereaux?” She asked, awestruck. Nate smiled, weakly and shook her hand. Sophie, on the other hand, was beaming. “You guys are legendary. Honestly, I wish we had more time, because I have a million questions to ask you, but time is of the essence and we we’re about 20 minutes away, on a good day.” She quickly refocused herself and led the quintet to the car. The drive was fairly quiet, only Arlana spoke, debriefing the team on what had happened since their last contact.

Finally, they made it to “home base,” as Arlana called it. What it was on the outside, however, was a “Fitness Complex.” She led them past a sea of treadmills, stair-steppers, elliptical, and a range of weights to a door marked “EMPLOYEES ONLY.” She pushed through the door and the rest followed in her wake. Behind the door was a mess of computers, flashing lights, and freaking out.

“Arlana, I got our cameras back, but I can’t seem to figure out how they – shit now they have it back again, goddamnit, help me make sense of this Julia,” a young girl growled out as the team entered. Hardison didn’t skip a beat, sitting down next to the girl.

“Alec Hardison and you are?” The girls looked up, frozen in shock.

“I’m Irene. Ellis.” They both extended their hands and Alec shook them, one at a time.

“Now, I couldn’t get in by myself, and neither could you, so let’s see what happens when we do it in tandem,” he said, starting to frantically type. Irene didn’t waste any time and began typing away at her own computer.

“Wouldn’t it have been smarter just to send Hardison, if all it was was a computer thing?” Nate asked. Parker shrugged.

“This has been happening on and off for 12 weeks, so we figured it was time to visit and see who’s wreaking havoc on us.” She replied. Eliot glanced around and then leaned over and whispered something in Parker’s ear. She nodded and he left.

“Levada, you’re getting good,” Eliot said as he approached the punching bag. A young, short, woman appeared from behind it. She wiped the sweat off of her forehead and raised a single eyebrow.

“I was already good, I’m just gettin’ better,” She countered. He smirked and tossed her a water bottle, which she easily caught. “Thanks, what’re you doin’ in town? I thought you guys weren’t due for a visit for another couple’a months?”

“Some computer thing that Hardison has to help with.” Lavada nodded.

“Irene’s been goin’ crazy over that code. I woulda sworn up and down she was gonna smash her laptop.” She said with a soft chuckle.

“Yeah, Hardison gets like that sometimes. You been keepin’ busy?” she shrugged and began unwrapping her hands.

“This job keeps me busy. I like it. Helpin’ people never feels bad.” Suddenly Lavada something behind Eliot caught Levada’s eye. “No rest for the weary,” she grumbled as she headed towards the “EMPLOYEE ONLY” door. Eliot followed. Just as they both entered, Hardison and Irene were able to take back control of the hub for good. They high-fived, then Hardison noticed something on his screen.

“What’s this job?” He asked, pointing at a file.

“Oh, that’s the one we’re working on. It’s small potatoes compared to most of the ones you guys do.” Hardison looked up at his team.

“Sometimes it’s good to go back to the basics.”

A 5:30 am Ramble

Gonna be real:

I love immortal x human tropes.

This can be seen with my Malleus Draconia/MC obsession. Hell, the webtoon I’m making involves a semi-immortal main character, although I have calculated the rate at which he ages because... I’m a bit OCD with details like that. There are also elves and dwarves who are- again- semi immortal.

But I only actually APPROVE of the pairings under certain conditions.

If the immortal is clearly shown to be an adult in both body and mind, then the human has to be an adult. Specifically, 18+. If the immortal is a teenager themselves in mind and body, then the human must be a teenager.

(Not trying to say what one can and can’t ship. But with a certain group of nasties only giving pedophiles more encouragement- I had to ramble. If you don’t like what’s below, or think you might not like it, just don’t read it. Scroll past)

A good example- if we use the third non canon movie, Swords of an Honorable Ruler, which admittedly is my favorite out of the four- is Inuyasha and Kagome. The third movie gives us the idea that Inuyasha is several hundred years old. However he has both the body and the mind of a fifteen year old. Kagome is a fifteen year old human. He did not watch her grow from a child to her age now, nor did he raise her. They met on equal grounds, all the while being “similar” in age.

Malleus is a dragon fae. Presumably Maleficent’s grandson. (People freaked because it’s been confirmed that he has a grandma who’s alive, but people can have two grandmas and I feel like the fandom forgets that. So one can be alive and the other dead.) He is several hundred years old, but has the body and the mind of a young adult. He is stated to be eighteen in human years. This gives him more range in my mind, but not a whole lot. So I imagine the MC to be 17+. In my fanfic, the MC is 19 to start with.

They meet as equals.

More examples of immortal characters I enjoy: Daddy no Mora Zhongli from Genshin Impact, Undertaker from Black Butler, DILF Lilia Vanrouge from Twisted Wonderland. Freaking Classic Maleficent, with her green skin and deadly red nails.

But any love interest they have must be similar in mind and body.

Once Upon A Tragedy: Maleficent is Immortal 17 when she meets Human 16 Ellis.

They 👏 Are 👏 On 👏 Equal 👏 Grounds

The immortal did not raise the human. They did not watch them grow up. They did not groom them. They were similar in mind and body, and could form a relationship on equal grounds. Of their own will and choosing. Without any ominous or disgusting implications/behavior.

And if you think what Trashahime did was okay- an Immortal 19 man meeting a Human 8 girl and forcing her to have his kids at Human 15... and you ship/support that and any other remotely similar pairing, and try to force people to accept it and harass them for not doing so, then- well... You’re a pedo-pusher and part of the problem.

The same goes with non-immortals honestly. Like, don’t pair 20 year old Leona Kingscholar with a 16 year old MC. Or the adult teachers with their teenage students. The implications are awful.

I’ve seen some Divus x Jack stuff on Pinterest and it’s like 😰 That’s a man in his thirties with a sixteen year old. That is NOT okay. Just make an age appropriate OC. I understand that some make specific art to cope with traumatic events, and that some draw things like that, and that’s perfectly fine-

You do what you have to in order to feel better.

But make sure to acknowledge that the pairing itself is morally wrong and damaging when applied to real life, and do not push others to “accept” it.
