Greetings!

After much deliberation and consideration of our writers’ schedules, we made the decision to reopen our requests sometime in the beginning of 2022. This time of year can be a busy one for many, and several of our writers are actually partaking in different projects concurrently during this time.

While we collectively take a brief hiatus as a blog during this upcoming holiday season, we encourage you to check out the individual blogs of our writing team! Below the cut are some highlight features of what some of the team will be showcasing over the next few months:

@chaosangel767 is major IkeRev &IkePri writer. Her two main multi - chapter stories right now include:  Memories of my Heart - Jazlynn Armstrong is the previous Alice, after helping defeat the magic tower she wakes up in a London hospital pregnant with no idea how she got home or who the father is. After giving birth, she returns to Cradle with her twins to find out who the father is and pick up the shattered remains of her memories and heart.  The Cradle Sibling AU- An AU where there is no Alice to help save Cradle. The tower has been secretly tearing apart families for 150 years. It is up to the forgotten, rejected and lost siblings of Cradle to save the world that has done nothing but break them.  There are currently 9 stories planned for this world- 2 sets of trilogies and 3 mini-stories: Breaking the Cycle is on WattPad and AO3 Hidden Amongst the Stars is out on Wattpad and AO3.

@otomefoxystar, will be doing regular weekly updates on ALL chapter fics. reediting & reblogging older works. She will also be finishing up the requests in her inbox. You can even expect to see her open up requests for holiday themed prompts, and also be partaking in the upcoming ‘Tis the Season for Smut Event!

@toloveawarlord, will be continuing to post Kinktober pieces, as well share works from her Touches Event. You can also expect to see the revival of her 25 Days of Christmas, so be sure to check it out for some holiday fun!

As for myself, I will be hosting ‘Tis the Season for Smut 2.0 Content Creation Challenge. This event will feature a variety of content creators throughout a multitude of fandoms, and will be starting off on December 1st. You can also expect to see the third edition of Taki’s Birthday Bash taking place on Nov. 22, as well as the sporadic postings of requests currently in my que.

Only the crackle of the fire can be heard in the office as Seth and Sirius move as silently as they can, picking up the mess in the office from opening all the twin’s presents. The two twins are now curled up sleeping in their mothers arms on the couch and Sirius makes sure the blanket is pulled tight around them.

The twins had received a plethora of toys, and cute gifts and have spent the better part of the morning running around causing trouble. Sirius walks over to Jaz, stroking her cheek and she slowly opens her eyes, her lids heavy with sleep as a smile crosses her lips. She rubs against his hand, before shutting her eyes and passing back out. Sirius just watches before finishing all the cleaning, shooing the other officers out of the room so they can sleep. 

Jaz wakes up a little while later and slowly opens her eyes to see the tornado the kids left all cleaned up, and her babies napping in her arms. She sits up, stirring Alistar and kisses his nose as he opens his eyes. Snuggling closer to him, Jaz lays on the sofa a little while longer, noticing it is only late morning and snuggles her babies as close as she can, happiness radiating off of her when she realizes she is at the Black Army. 

“I’ll be home for Christmas, 

You can plan on me Please have snow and mistletoe 

And Presents by the tree

Christmas Eve will find me

Where the love light gleams

I’ll be home for Christmas

If only in my Dreams 

Jaz sings the song softly, keeping her babies asleep as she brings them into their nursery, and putting them properly down for a nap. She gets out the dress she is almost finished making, wanting to wear on her next date, and finishes the last details, sewing little details in by hand and making sure the lace on it lays flat and humming Christmas songs as the morning wears on.

“Hey Jaz” Sirius catches his girlfriend by the waist in the doorway of his room and spins her around giving her a kiss on the lips and Jaz is caught off guard, her jade and gold eyes are confused as she looks at the Queen. 

“Sirius, what was that for?”

“What I can’t stop and kiss my girlfriend” Sirius teases, an amused smirk adorning his face and Jaz pouts. 

“Fine than keep your secrets”

“I will, just know that I activated the babysitters for tonight and we are going on a date at 8” He tells her with one last kiss to her lips before making his way down the hallway. 

“Sirius wait-” He leaves behind a very confused Jaz who just keeps a finger to her lips, still able to feel the Queen’s warmth on them. Glancing up, she catches the mistletoe and lets out a laugh, suddenly the Queen's behavior makes sense and she shakes her head. 

What am I going to do with him?  She focuses back on her hunt for her twins, knowing that someone has them. Luka is alone in the kitchen but is able  to tell her he heard Ray and Fenrir talking about bringing the twins somewhere. 

On the hunt for her twins, Jaz bundles up and heads outside, enjoying the cooler air and the soft snowflakes that are falling. The sound of giggles are heard and she follows the noise to see Ray and Fenrir with the twins. They are in the new sleigh Fenrir had bought for Christmas and are giggling as the King runs with them, tugging the sleigh behind them. Shu Shu is with them, barking and running around and Jaz just leans against a tree watching the chaos. Jaz waits until both of the officers fall to the ground in fake exhaustion before approaching them. 

“Having fun?” She called across the field and the babies both start babbling to her, Aaliyah trying to stand up in the snow. Ayah falls and Jaz hurries over to where her daughter is kneeling in the snow, not sure if she wants to cry or not, Her little fingers digging in the snow through her little gloves. Jaz scoops up her daughter and kisses her cold little nose before setting her back in the snow. 

“You can do it Ayah” She encourages, holding onto Ayah as she tries to walk through the snow. Ayah toddles along, bringing giggles to Fenrir and Ray. 

“Why is she allowed to be this cute?” 

“Look at how she waddles” Fenrir and Ray are joking and Jaz fixes them with a glare. 

“Leave my little angel alone, she is doing great” Jaz scolds and Alistar stands up trying to walk as well. Jaz uses one hand to help steady Ayah in the snow and uses the other one for Alistar, the twins both trying to learn how to walk through the snow and Jaz carefully guides them toward the house. 

Ray and Fenrir put the sleigh away and follow the kids, making sure Jaz  and the twins get in the house safely. Fenrir steals Alistar away to go play in the office while Jaz goes back to the kitchen with Aaliyah. The little girl lights up and babbles as soon as she sees Luka in the kitchen. 

“Hey Ayah” He happily scoops the little girl out of Jaz’s arms, sitting her on the counter while he grabs her new little apron and hat. Ayah kicks her feet and lets Luka put the apron on her, looking absolutely adorable in the light purple apron with white flowers and butterflies. 

“Alright Ayah, want to help me decorate some cookies?” He asks the little girl while Jaz works on making the icing and Ayah nods, still giggling. She sits on the counter between Luka and Jaz, eating some strawberries while she waits for the icing to be ready. Finally Jaz gets the icing all bagged up and Luka takes Ayah’s hand and the two of them start icing cookies, Luka holding the bag and letting Aaliyah hold his fingers, her eyes are focused as she watches the icing come out and pipe on the sugar cookies. 

“I have the potatoes all done Luka, and the carrots are almost ready” Jaz tells Jack and he smiles at her with a warm nod. 

“Perfect, little Ayah and I have most of the cookies all done, we just have a few more -” A crash is heard and Jaz whirls around to see the bowl of icing shattered on the floor and Ayah crying, the piping bag still in her hand, icing is everywhere. 

“Ayah!” Jaz quickly ignores the icing and the glass on the ground as she get to her daughter, throwing the icing bag in the sink Jaz quickly snuggles her icing covered daughter. 

“Shhh, it's okay baby” Jaz manages to hush the girl, who thankfully isn’t injured, just startled from the noise. Jaz looks over to see Luka already cleaning up the shards of glass and starting to pick up the icing and Jaz sits Aaliyah in her high chair so she can help Luka. 

“I’m sorry Luka” Jaz tries to apologize but the Jack just hushes her. 

“I took my eyes off of her, silly little troublemaker. Is she hurt?” The question is followed with a worried look at the baby in the high chair who is sucking on her pacifier trying to calm down. 

“No, I think the bowl breaking just startled her.”

“Okay, do you want to take her and get her cleaned up, I can clean up here.” Luka asks and Jaz tries to protest only for him to shake his head. After bickering with him for a few minutes Jaz finally relents, going to her daughter and snuggling her, bringing her into her room for a bath. Fenrir brings Alistar in as well and Jaz gives both kids their baths, seeing how it was almost dinner time.

The sound of delighted giggles stops Sirius in his mission as he follows the giggles to see Jaz playing on the floor of the nursery with the twins. Creeping up he catches his girlfriend still in her robe and getting the kids ready, singing to them some unfamiliar lyrics.

A soft smile makes its way to Sirius’s face watching Jaz press kisses to Aaliyah’s nose and smiling at the delighted shrieks that follow. Jaz looks up at him as he knocks on the door, something flashing in her eyes before she brings the babies up and gives them to Sirius. He takes them into the office for the other officers to look after while Jaz gets dress, waiting patiently in his room for her to appear, his jaw dropping when she does. 

Her thick brunette curls are hanging naturally around her shoulders, only a few pieces being tied back by a cute snowflake hairpiece.  Her dress is a dark midnight blue and the skirt  has white snowflakes scattered across it, the snowflake beading catching the light when she moves. A dark blue and white fur cloak falls around her shoulders and his hands naturally find her hips to kiss her. 

“You are absolutely stunning” He murmurs in her ear and Jaz blushes, the flush spreading across her cheeks. She tries to deny it, but ends up stuttering and Sirius just chuckles at her, offering his hand. She takes it and he leads her to a carriage, helping her get in before he gets in behind her. 

“Sirius? Where are we going?” Jaz asks and the Queen shrugs, not answering the question and Jaz frowns. 

“Relax Jaz, the officers have the twins, they can take care of a couple of sleepy babies. Tonight's about me and you” He reassures her and Jaz gently traces her tattoo on her arm. 

“Alright” She agrees and she relaxes slightly, resting her head against Sirius. 

“Jaz?” Sirius asks and Jaz lets out a contented hum, lifting her head to meet his amethyst eyes. “Are you happy here?”

“What do you mean?” Jaz asks looking down at his fingers and Sirius keeps running his hand along her tattoo and takes a minute to respond. 

“Are you happy with us in the Black Army or -” He starts to ask and Jaz turns to him, pressing her lips against his to shut him up. 

“Enough Sirius, do you remember one of the first things I told you? I told you that the month I spent in Cradle made me feel more at home than the 23 years I spent in the land of Reason. The Black army is my home now, I don’t regret my decision to stay with you guys, and I don’t regret us.” Jaz’s eyes hold a determined look and relief flickers across Jaz’s face. 

“That song you were singing earlier?” He asks and Jaz just laughs. 

“It is a popular song in the Land of Reason.” Jaz smiles up at him and Sirius shakes his head, his chin resting against her head. 

“I am happy Jaz,” A comfortable silence falls in the carriage as the two figures stay cozy together until the carriage rolls to a stop in front of a greenhouse. 

Sirius leads Jaz into the greenhouse and they both stop to look at the flowers. 

“Sirius, this place is gorgeous,” Jaz gasps and Sirius smiles at her, leading her through the greenhouse until she gets to the top, a  little observatory at the top, and Jaz looks up, the snow has since stopped and all the constellations are on display in the night sky.  A blanket is laid out with sparkling wine, and picnic food. Laying down on the Blanket, Sirius pours them both a glass of sparkling wine as they  just talk and look at stars. 

“Jaz, turn around and close your eyes,” he finally commands, and Jaz does without hesitation, feeling a necklace land around her neck. 

“Sirius-” She breathes and he finally whispers to open her eyes. Looking down she sees a beautiful silver snowflake on her neck, the tips decorated in dark blue sapphires.  She turns and kisses Sirius. 

“Cradle is my home, the Black Army is my home.” She murmurs against his lips. “I’ll always be home” she mutters again as the snow starts falling outside and Sirius presses his lips against hers, making a silent vow. 

You and the twins will always be my home.

“Mama” I hear one of my twins giggling and I look over to see Fenrir and Seth helping Alistar bury Ray under the sand. He waves at me with a huge smile when he notices me watching.

“ I see you Ali” I call to him and he laughs, patting the sand that Ray is buried under. Only the King of Spades head is free and above sand. I chuckle at the image and look over near the water where my second baby Aaliyah is playing with Luka, chasing the waves. He has her hands firmly in his and is running with her to escape from being wet. 

“Brats” Sirius mutters under his breath, causing me to chuckle. I look over at him and shake my head. I get up from my comfy towel and walk over to where he is working on some papers. Even though we decided to take a fun day to the beach he still had work sprawled across his lap. 

“Sirius, put it away. The paperwork will be there tomorrow, but the beach day won't.” I scold him, kneeling in the warm sand next to him, and place my hand under my chin, raising his eyes from his work. 

“Paperwork doesn’t stop Jaz, you know this.” He moves his head out of my grasp and starts working again. I feel frustration at watching him work and I reach down, grabbing the pen out of his hands and slipping it down my shirt before also taking his papers and putting them back in the satchel and tossing the satchel over to where the supplies sit. I sit in his lap and kiss him on the lips, pressing against him. 

“You better give me back my Paperwork Little Lady” he grumbles, but he holds me close to him anyway. 

“Paperwork never stops Sirius, you said it yourself. So stop worrying about it and relax.” I continue to scold him, knowing the man never takes a break unless I force him too. “Sirius, look around, we got everyone together to spend some time away from work and to relax. You would rather spend more time doing your paperwork than spend with me or the twins” I let my frustrations out and I see his gaze soften a little. He rubs his eyes and lets out a sigh, resting his head against mine he runs his hands up my waist. I shift a little in his lap to get more comfortable and I notice his eyes darken for a moment before his face goes back to normal. 

“You’re right Jaz, I’m sorry.” He apologizes to me and making sure no one is watching he reaches down my shirt to retrieve the pen. 

“Hey” I protest and he smirks at me, wrapping an arm around my waist. 

“If you didn’t want me to retrieve it you wouldn’t have put it there” He calmly told me,  before standing us both up and leading me toward the water. 

“Luka, Fenrir can you keep an eye on the twins for a little bit?” He asks the two other officers and I notice they both nod and he leads me away. 

“Hey where are we going?” I ask, looking worriedly over my shoulder. 

“To spend some time with you, that’s what you wanted right?” His hand rubs circles into my hip and he places a kiss on my shoulder. 

“Sirius” I protest, but he ignores me, gently guiding me into an alcove away from the others. 

“Here this should be far enough from those brats.” Sirius pulls me into his arms and starts kissing my neck. I grant him a little more access and I feel him start to pull the laces on my swim top, revealing my bikini underneath. 

“You wore it” He smiles down at me, as he takes off the top and admires me in the bikini. 

“Of course, you asked me to” I tell him, going to cover the scars across my stomach but he stops me. 

“No, don’t hide your scars from me,  those came from the twins, they are nothing to hide.” He kneels down softly and kisses the scars and I whimper as goosebumps run up my body at his touches. He looks up at me deviously and suddenly she stands up, spinning me around and taking my hands behind me. I feel him tug my bikini strings and suddenly he releases my hand, only for me to find my strings holding my hands in place. 

“Sirius why?” I ask him, turning to face him. He ignores my question and kisses me, deepening the kiss and playing with my now bare nipples. “Sirius?” I ask again, pulling away from the kiss and he holds me in place. 

“You were being a brat who wanted attention. So now you have my attention.” He gently nudges me to kneel in front of him, using my cover up as padding.

“Alright Brats, Jaz and I are leaving. Please keep an eye on the twins" Sirius stands in the office doorway looking at Luka, Ray and Fenrir. He warns them sternly even though it isn’t the first time the Officers have been in charge of the chaotic one year old twins. The 3 officers all nod, in response while Fenrir hangs Alistar upside down in his lap tickling his stomach.

“We'll be just fine won't we be buddy?" Alistar squeals in delight and starts laughing. Jaz hands Aaliyah off to Luka with a kiss to her baby's head. Aaliyah waves bye and Alistar starts squealing and waving as Sirius and Jaz head out.

“After I get this paperwork done Ayah and l are going to cook dinner.” Luka declares while looking down at the squirming baby. He releases her to let her wander around the office.  

Alistar soon starts squirming to be free and Fenrir relents, needing to focus on his papers. The twins crawl to each other and start wrestling and giggling. Alistar lets Aaliyah get on top and she starts tickling him while he laughs and they soon lay on the floor of the office  giggling and babbling to each other. 

The officers work, occasionally looking up to check on the two babies. playing peekaboo together. Suddenly Ray feels something tug on his cape, looking down he sees Ayah looking up at him, hiding under the desk. He smiles down at her as she hides in his cape. Alistar is covering his eyes and babbling until he suddenly stops and stands up. 

Luka and Fenrir stop working to watch Alistar run around the room booking for his sister. He opens cabinets, checks around the couches and eventually comes over to Ray who is smiling. Ali finally finds Ayah curled up in Ray's cape under the desk. Alistar crawls under the desk with her and they both start babbling at each other until they devolve into a fit of giggles. The officers watch in amusement as Aaliyah pulls Alistar out from under the desk and tugs him over to the couch. She sits down and starts babbling, covering her eyes just as Luka finishes his paperwork. 

“Aaliyah, time to go make dinner, want to help?” Luka reaches down for the little girl, scooping her up and waiting for her reaction. She waves bye to Alistar and rests her head against Luka’s shoulder as they head downstairs to the Kitchen. 

“What should we make for dinner Ayah?” He asks her and she starts babbling. Luka pulls out his notebook and sits the one year old on the counter. She looks down at the notebook as Luka slowly turns the pages looking for a recipe. She suddenly starts squealing and her little hands stop him on a page that has a picture. Luka laughs and looks at the excited baby. 

“Chicken noodle soup?” He asks the baby, getting giggles as responses. Aaliyah clenches her fist on the page and brings it to her mouth pretending to eat it causing Luka to laugh.

“Like mother like daughter” he shakes his head in adoration at the child. “You know this is your mom’s favorite dinner too right?” He scoops the little girl up and holds her while he gets all the ingredients. She babbles and sits on the counter playing with a strawberry filled teething ring and trying to feed it to the busy Jack. Something scurrying along the floor catches Aaliyah’s attention and she tries to get off the counter only for Luka to stop her from falling and he sets her on the floor. 

“Be careful Aaliyah, we don’t need any hurt babies,” he scolds softly before releasing her to play on the floor, focusing on the soup on the stove. It is a little while later when the Kitchen door opens and Fenrir comes in with wide eyes. 

“Luka have you seen Alistar?” He asked, worry and panic laced in his voice. The Jack turns to the door and shakes his head. 

“No I haven’t” He looks around the floor and notices Aaliyah is missing as well. 

“Wait, where is Aaliyah?” He looks under the table and in the cabinets of the island and pantry trying to find the little girl to no avail. 

“This is an emergency, we need to find the twins, Jaz and Sirius is going to kill us.” Luka turns off the stove and heads off with Fenrir and Ray to search headquarters for the two missing twins. 

After a couple hours of searching, Fenrir and Ray are talking in the office when they hear scratching and a dog whimpering in one of the cabinets. 

“Shu Shu?” Fenrir calls and the dog barks again. Fenrir opens a cabinet and inside it he sees Alistar and Shu Shu curled up together. 

“Alistar what are you doing in there? That cabinet is supposed to be locked” Fenrir reaches down for the baby and he giggles blowing kisses to Shu Shu. Fenrir collapses on the couch with the baby in his arms and soon the Ace is sleeping with his dog on one side and a baby in his arms. 

Luka goes back downstairs and rechecks all the cabinets in the kitchen and sure enough finds Aaliyah snuggled up against Chutney, both of them fast asleep under the sink. He goes to get her, but Chutney growls and wraps her tail tighter around the child, making it clear she is safe. 

“Do you know how worried I was about you?” He scolds the sleeping baby softly, she whines in her sleep, snuggling closer to Chutney and babbling for a few seconds. Luka’s eyes soften as he leaves her to her nap and goes back to dinner, occasionally checking on the baby and raccoon.

“You can count on those two to keep us on our toes” Ray appears in the doorway with a laugh and Luka nods as the officers relax knowing the twins are actually safe and just wanted to hide.

It is early afternoon by the time the Queen of Spades finally emerges from the office, having been cooped up with meeting after meeting. Wanting to see his family, he hunts around the base for the giggling twins and his fiance, following the voices into the courtyard. He is caught off guard by the chaotic mess, his eyebrows furrowing.

“So this is where my clothes went to?” Sirius snorts when he looks around the field near the garden. Leaves are scattered in piles with garments next to them. His pants, one of his long sleeve shirts, his old gardening hat, boots, and gloves are all thrown around the courtyard, the twins were playing in the pile of leaves next to Jaz as she ties off his pants with some brown rope.

“I mean making a scarecrow with a dress is kind of impossible. Besides, I am not that scary” Jaz giggles, looking up at Sirius with a wink. Aaliyah stands up from her side and runs over to his side, pulling on his pant leg.

“Dada play” Aaliyah babbles, staring up with her large green/gold eyes. Melting from the pleading look, Sirius kneels next to her and brushes her curls from her face.

“You want me to help?” Aaliyah nods and catches his hand, trying to lead him over to where Jaz and Alistar are sitting. Following the 2-year-old, he sits with her and helps her stuff the leaves into the pair of pants. Jaz and Alistar take one pant leg, creating a race with Sirius and Ayah, the twins giggling as they fill the legs.

“We win!” Sirius tickles Aaliyah's stomach to hear her giggles. Jaz lets out a laugh at the two of them before tilting her head.

“Do you want to know the prize?” She asks, kneeling next to Aaliyah and watching her nod. “You get to go pick out the pumpkin to use for his head” Jaz smiles and Aaliyah gets excited.

“Pumin, Dada” Turning to Sirius her hands clasp around his fingers, tugging him over to the garden. Letting out a laugh at the toddler, Sirius chases after her and pics her up to put on his shoulders as they walk over to the pumpkin patch.

“Alright, little one, which one should we use for the head? We need to find one that looks like a head. Which one do you want?” He asks, setting her down on the edge of the patch. His heart is full of love and adoration for the little toddler as she runs along the side of the patch looking for the perfect pumpkin. watches as she runs along the bed, her eyes looking over all their pumpkins. Finally, she moves over to a large pumpkin that is just beginning to turn ripe.

“Pumin” she points, trying to hug the pumpkin to her chest. Letting out a laugh, Sirius picks up the pumpkin with ease, setting Aaliyah back on his other hip to bring her to the others.

“Pumpkin face acquired. Alistar, do you want ot help us draw the face?” Sirius calls for the other toddler, watching his eyes light up as he runs over. With both the twins between his legs, Sirius pulls out some black paint and gives each toddler a brush.

“First we need some eyes” He starts, helping guide Aaliyah first to make the first eye, before doing the same with Alistair, snickering when he sees the eyes of the scarecrow. “Now we need his nose and smile.” Drawing on the mouth, he feels the twins squirming. Looking up he sees Jaz raking some of the leaves for the shirt and the twins rush over to the forming pile to ambush her and they jump in the leaves.

“Babies, look at your hair, there are leaves everywhere” she giggles, sitting in the leaves with them and brushing the leaves out of their hair. Giggles and babbles are music to Sirius’s ears as he uses a knife to cut out the scarecrow’s face, sticking a candle in the pumpkin to cast a glow. Standing up he also finds some sticks to stuff down the back. Approaching the three playing in the leaves, he shows both the head and the sticks to the toddlers. Alistar starts giggling at the face while Ayah hides against Jaz, glancing shyly at the “monster”

“Scary” she murmurs softly, and Jaz giggles, taking the pumpkin in one hand while she holds Ayah's hand out.

“Look Ayah, nothing scary here” She coaxes the toddler to touch the scarecrow's face and after a minute, Ayah is back to normal.

The sky starts to change colors as the scarecrow is put together. The twins help Sirius rake all the leaves as Jaz sews the waist together, sews the gloves to the shirt, and attaches the boots to his pants.

Helping Sirius dig a hole, he takes the stake and attaches the scarecrow to it before adding it to the ground, turning it to the gate, and letting it overlook all the gardens.

“What is going on here?” Voices break the family from their concentration as Ray and Fenrir appear from a meeting, and the twins start talking over each other as they ‘explain’.

“Another, another” starting to chant, they beg Fenrir to contribute, wanting the Ace to join in on the shenanigans.

“Oh, you want to make a scarecrow of me?” Throwing Alistair up in the air, Fenrir chases the kids around the gardens, Ray on his heels as they tire out the twins. Sirius helps Jaz clean up the area of supplies, occasionally scolding the officers for acting like children as they chase the tots, catching them and throwing them up in the air before putting them down to run again. While Jaz joins Luka in the kitchen to make dinner, Sirius actually tries to rake the remaining part of the courtyard, scolding whoever dares run in his piles under the setting sun.

It isn’t until just after dark that the light in the scarecrow comes to life, turning it into a guardian of the garden. The twins watch in awe, clapping as they beg for another. Sirius scoops up the tots in his arms, promising them to make another later, and takes them inside to get ready for dinner, a smile on his face as the toddlers snuggle into him, clearly exhausted from running around the courtyard most of the day.
