This is Vortex, who can be a little troublesome at times. I attempted to make them like a noodle dragon but I think it could still use some work.

Introducing my new characters through Vortex being an absolute wreck:

Vortex accidentally smacked Stewart’s cereal spoon, causing it to fly across the room. Stewart watched it go with a small wave. “I am so sorry! Here, I’ll get you a new one.” However, while opening the drawer to get Stewart a new spoon, Vortex struggled, wrestling it and managing. The rock and Vortex’s elbow caused the milk to fall over, spilling onto the counter and the floor until Stewart caught it. He closed it before getting a few napkins and cleaning up the mess. Vortex watched before collapsing dramatically onto the floor and holding his arms up to Stewart. “I’ll stop trying to help, I promise! You can take my blood, just please forgive me!” “I had my fair share of blood last night actually, thank you,” Stewart said, calmly collecting another spoon.

My OC Tournament Round 1 Poll 8

Vortex (he/him): Vortex is from my Cyberpunk Story. He is an android who was sent to track down Irina and take her android dog from her. He has figured out that Irina is treating her dog well, so he has found loopholes in his orders to let him not capture the dog. He still has to pursue her, but that has just led to friendship. His past has made him quiet and touch-adverse. He insists that he isn't a person, no matter how many times Irina says he is.

He is stoic and blunt, having become a hunter for the company that's trying to take the android dog back. His ears are generally the only way that anyone will know what he's feeling.

Iggy (he/him): Iggy is from the Trio Story. He is also an android (a travesty that these two had to go up against each other), and he was made by the other species to look human so he and his fellow androids could work in the human museum, educating everyone on what humans were like. Of course, the other species had very skewed ideas of what humans were like, so Iggy eventually decided to sneak away and find out what humans really were like. He runs into Sabre and Mal and quickly becomes friends with them, getting pulled into the bigger plot.

Iggy is sunshine incarnate. He thinks humans are amazing and just wants to learn more about them so he can prove the other species wrong. He's inquisitive and smart and just finds life so amazing. He must be protected at all costs.

Our main story, The Passion Between Rivals, is set in a world ruled by both darkness and light. With neither mother dark or mother light able to agree on what direction to take humanity, they're given their separate districts to shape and create their own entities. The creations of the dark became known as villains, while the creations of the light are known as heroes.

Able, a creation of the light, finds himself thrown out of the hero district when he returns a kidnapped creation of the dark. Now living in the villain district, Able must conform to the villains' way of life to function and, through this, he finds himself learning more about the villains who took him in.

Particularly, he learns that the villain he saved, Vortex, may not be as evil as he appears, beginning to question how the authorities in the hero district treat villains.

It's an enemies to friends to lovers type story exploring concepts such as purity culture and the bias that influences what is seen as evil or good.

She grabbed Vortex by his collar, looking him straight in the eyes and speaking with as much loathing as she could muster.  “Stop this right now or your stay here won’t be as cushy!” Thea said, leaning forward and Vortex did the same in turn. “You call that a threat, babe? It was surprisingly tender. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re not completely onboard with this idea yourself, are you?”

vortex, goddess of the sea, storms, and lightning

a homebrew goddess for my dnd game!

she's worshipped mostly by sailors, who rely on her generosity to make it through storm and sea monsters and arrive at their next port. those who die at sea are said to have either jilted her, or been appealing enough to be taken as one of her many lovers. her lightning can illuminate safe passage through a storm, or set your ship on fire.

those who are chosen to serve her as clerics and paladins are unusually beautiful, and are ceremoniously and literally married to her (though she doesn't care at all about monogamy). Those who serve her are all so desperately in love with her that they would throw themselves into the sea if she asked.
