Octopus/Jellyfish Man
I don't know guys, I think Pus is mad. What do you think?
Pus’ mouth began bubbling, tentacles releasing ink that puffed into the air before painting the floors and walls. The assistant rushed back into the hallway with a quiver, leaving the door open. Pus groaned, taking a few, deep breaths before his eyes and mouth returned to normal and he brushed down his tendrils.

Glad I'm not the only one who enjoys reading and writing that kind of thing! Love how you write that sort of thing Caxy!
In my finished WIP, The Crimson Bride, both main characters have saucy relations with the dream entity that helps them both.
In The Breeding Grounds, though nothing happens, it is implied that several of the characters would want to have relations with each other.
In Infernal Serenade, it's implied a few of the demons have had casual relations with each other, and the members of the main polycule, except for some few exceptions, are also shown and implied to do so.
In my new project, Every Hero Needs a Villain and Vice Versa, the main character Vortex is implied to have had sexual relations, and continues to have sexual relations, with some of his closest friends. This is actually very common in villain culture, since they're formed by what is seen as socially odd or unacceptable, while heroes are made by the opposite. Heroes are commentary on purity culture pretty much.
I want more non-porn fics where most of the cast is known to be having or have had casual sex with one another and it's not a big deal.
*writes a bunch of these fics myself*

Thanks to the lovely @green-eyeddragonfanfiction for taking the time to answer these! Get to know more about her, go give her a follow and then show her some love!
These questions are from this list. You should check it out, there’s 50 questions all together and they’d be great to ask your favorite fic writer!
1) How old were you when you first starting writing fan-fiction?
Around 20, I think.
2) Do you prefer writing OC’s or reader inserts? Explain your answer.
Reader inserts, definitely. I don’t mind throwing OC’s in there if I need to, though. I really like reading reader inserts. I think it’s really fun and engaging to imagine yourself in a story.
3) What is your favorite genre to write for?
Super Heroes! Although I really adore fantasy. If I were to write a book, it would be fantasy.
4) If you had to delete one of your stories and never speak of it again, which would it be and why?
I’m… not sure. I s'pose it’d have to be One Mistake, simply because I think it’s worst piece.
5) When is your preferred time to write?
Whenever I actually find the motivation to write, which usually ends up being around 1-4 am. Aka I’m a Mess: Part 1
6) Where do you take your inspiration from?
Have you seen this man?
I suppose I also draw inspiration from comics, movies, TV shows, and video games where applicable.
7) In your Winter’s War Series, what’s your favorite scene that you wrote?
Out of the entire trilogy? Dang, that’s tough. Maybe in Ghosts of War when Bucky, Reader, and Nat are sitting together, sort of like some messed up little family? If not that, then it’s probably in Winter’s War when Reader, Steve, and Bucky reunite after the Azzano goes up in flames.
8) Have you ever amended a story due to criticisms you’ve received after posting it?
I don’t think I’ve ever received “criticism.” I’ve received very polite corrections of some of the German in WW from some native speakers, but that’s about it (I haven’t corrected any of it yet because I’m a lazy pos).
9) Who is your favorite character to write for? Why?
Bucky Barnes. Because he’s Bucky Barnes.
10) Who is your least favorite character to write for? Why?
I don’t really write characters that I don’t like. Even villains are fun to write, even if I hate them. If I had to choose, I guess it’d be Ashley Williams, from the Mass Effect series. I’ve only written her once, but she’s a damned space racist and I hate her, even if I didn’t hate writing her.
11) How did you come up with the title for the Winter’s War Series?
Winter’s War was named with the final scene of the first book in mind, as well as what reader and Bucky would be turned into for the second book; Winter Soldier(s), and the war that led them to being created. And because they “die” in the snow and ice. Ghosts of War because that’s what Reader and Bucky are in the second book. Ghosts. Shells of themselves. War torn and weary. Weapons. War of Attrition because, in the third book, they fight tooth and nail for every scrap of memory, personality, humanity, and they don’t always win. They’re going to hit a lot of roadblocks, mostly in the form of other humans, their past and their guilt, and sometimes each other.
12) How did you come up with the idea for Winter’s War Series?
I always liked the thought of a Bucky x Reader series where they both ended up as Winter Soldiers. Everything kind of grew from that. It follows very closely to the canon, so everything was trying to figure out the most believable way to weave a reader character into the existing story.
13) Do you have any abandoned WIP’s? What made you abandon them?
“Abandoned” is a strong word…. *stares guiltily at The Way I Do and Two of a Kind.* I just haven’t found the inspiration to write them recently, but I do plan on finishing them… eventually.
14) Are there any stories that you’ve written that you’d really love to do a sequel to?
I plan on doing a second part for A Night to Remember when October rolls around. I also plan on adding more monster!Bucky’s to The Monster Series. My other series are complete or in progress and I don’t plan to add more to them (except to finish them in the case of the WIPs).
15) Are there any stories that you wished you’d ended differently?
I don’t think so, no.
16) Tell me about another writer(s) who you admire? What is it about them that you admire?
@angryschnauzer writes absolutely divine smut. I absolutely hate writing smut, so I wish I had her skills. There are others, but she’s the first one that came to mind. If I listed out every single author on here that I admire and why I admire them, we’d be here for another ten paragraphs!
17) Do you have a story that you look back on and cringe when you reread it?
I only started writing back in August. Anything written before that’s been lost to the Great Laptop Death of 2017. So, luckily, most of my writing is relatively recent and cringe-free.
18) Do you prefer listening to music when you’re writing or do you need silence?
I prefer listening to music (I love loud music and hate silence), but it’s distracting. My brain sometimes can’t process correctly so it tries to write the words I’m hearing instead of what I actually want to write. RIP me and my stupid brain. Aka I’m a Hot Mess: Part 2.
19) Have you ever cried whilst writing a story?
Haha. No. I’m dead inside. I very rarely (if ever) cry when reading, too.
20) Which part of your Winter’s War Series was the hardest to write?
Oh god the entire Agents of SHIELD part of War of Attrition. That show is so dense and woven so intricately into the MCU that it was difficult as hell to figure out where to put the reader so that it’d be relevant and set up for the next parts of the story. I love that show, but it was so hard *sobbing*.
21) Do you make a general outline for your stories or do you just go with the flow?
I almost never make outlines. WoA has been the exception because, as stated above, the content was way denser and I needed a clear path to be able to write them from point A to point B. That being said, I’ve only gotten as far as just after AoU. I haven’t decided what to do with Civil War or Infinity War yet.
22) What is something you wished you’d known before you started posting fan-fiction?
A) How Tumblr worked and B) that it’s a terrible, terrible site with horrible coding that, if it were a person, I would shoot as a mercy. Other than that, I read a lot of fics on here before I started posting some myself, which meant I had a pretty good idea of how to format it to be reader-friendly. Still had to google a lot of stuff, though.
23) Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?
Hmmm. I’m lucky in that I think I have a lot of readers/followers who leave lots of likes/comments/reblogs, but if I had to choose one? I think it’d be my recent Steve x Reader fic, Promise.
24) In contrast to 23 is there a story which gets lots of love which you kinda eye roll at?
Oh god. Again, I’m grateful for every like, comment, and reblog I get, but By Chance. It’s by far my most popular one shot at a staggering 1,925 notes. I like the a/b/o verse, but I posted it pretty early on in my writing career and it skyrocketed which completely blindsided me. The same thing kinda happened with Dumped, Drunk, and Angry. I wrote a one shot in a day or two because inspiration hit me like a freight train, and somehow they’re both over a thousand notes now.
25) Are any of your characters based on real people?
I s'pose Reader is always based off of me, just a little bit? Every other character (except the rare OC) has an established personality, but if I made reader a completely faceless, bland being it wouldn’t be that fun to read, would it? So even though I’m always careful to never describe reader too much physically, s/he always ends up with at least some of my personality.
26) What’s the biggest compliment you’ve gotten?
Oh goodness, I don’t know. My readers are amazingly kind people. I get a lot of asks and comments saying very, very nice things all the time. I don’t think I could choose just one if I tried..
27) What’s the harshest criticism you’ve gotten?
I was told very politely I spelled some German words wrong/used the wrong German words.
28) Do you share your story ideas with anyone else or do you keep them close to your chest?
I word vomit on my real life friend sometimes if I’m really stuck. It’s not always super useful because she doesn’t follow/watch any MCU stuff. Mostly, ideas just bounce around in my head until one sticks.
29) Do people know you write fan-fiction?
Yeah, most of my real life friends know. The friend I mentioned above writes fanfic, just not for the MCU. The rest are big nerds, too, so they don’t judge me.
30) What’s your favorite minor character you’ve written?
I loved writing Ran Shen and Mila Hitzvig for The Bitter March arc in Ghosts of War. As far as OC’s go, Dean from my series Time is probably my favorite.
31) What spurs you on during the writing process?
Interest in the source material has a lot to do with it. For example, I was writing easily 4k+ words a day when I was writing about the events of Captain America: the Winter Soldier. Other than that, I wait for the urge to hit me… which sometimes means I don’t write for a few days and sometimes a week depending on what’s happening in real life.
32) What’s your favorite trope to write?
So far? Soulmate. A/B/O was also fun and I’ll probably write it again at some point.
33) Can you remember the first fic you read? What was it about?
Oh jesus, no. I have the worst memory ever. I’m lucky if I can remember things a week ago, much less years ago.
34) If you could write only angst, fluff or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why?
Uhh… Not smut, I know that much. But I have this bad habit where I can’t write fluff without some angst and vice versa? I don’t think I could deal with writing cotton candy fluff for the rest of my life, though. So…. angst, I guess? But I wouldn’t be happy about it.

YJ Livejournal Fic Rec Part1
I’ve become tired of losing stories I like on the Young Justice Livejournal so I’m going to make a list of them here. There’s a lot... Most will be under a read more. IF LINKS DON’T WORK PLEASE TELL ME!
This has 21 fics, I’ll probably make a few more of these fic rec things.
1. The Checklist: Wally has a HUGE crush on John Stewart-- posters on his wall, t-shirts, always trying to catch a glimpse of him whenever they're with the league, etc. I'm not too sure how old John was when he was given his ring, but I'd guess that, since Wally's 15 in YJ and John is already part of the league, he's in his early twenties? And maybe one day GL has to take Wally home after a mission or something, and Wally's all, "Ohmygod OHMYGOD what do I say to him" and the like. (Complete)
2. Greetings from the Twineball (Wish You Were Here): Doing stuff together at super speed. Running to Paris for lunch and racing each other to the south pole to play with penguins, for example. I want lots of silly brotimes between the two, because Kon needs to have some fun.(Complete)
3. The Batsitter Begins: all the batsiblings have a crush on wally, and they try to woo him in different ways. BONUS: they're all younger than dick BONUS2: they try to court him the bat way so it's extremely subtle, and after a while they get impatient and one of them just kisses him. (WIP, though you can kinda look at it as if it’s complete)
4. Just Affectionate: Wally's parents aren't abusive, just... neglectful, mainly in an emotional way. Distant. Fortunately, Wally has his aunt and uncle, and the Garricks, for hugs and smiles and emotional support and caring about that 'A' he got on his chemistry test. Small things. None of them realize that he's not getting any of these at home. They think he's just really social. Then, Barry and Iris are both gone at the same time, for whatever reason. (Mission, reporting, etc.) So are the Garricks, if you choose to include them. This absence lasts for an extended period of time, to the point where it starts to affect Wally. So he compensates when visiting Mount Justice. At first it's just extra hugs for teammates, which are nice, if a bit confusing. As time goes on, though, it extends to other things. Talking about his day, getting moody when there isn't anyone around, spending more time at Mount Justice than usual, taking negative feedback as more of a blow. This includes mentors, not just teammates. (Complete!)
5. Five Times Wally Couldn't Drive and One Time He Could: Wally, learning how to drive and being horrible at it. So Barry calls in Robin, because Robin is BAMF and can relate to Wally. And I'd love it if you included this little tidbit, because I kind of fell in love with it but am too lazy to write the rest. "You have a license?" Wally asks, his eyebrows horribly skeptical. Robin snorts. "Yes." Wally's eyebrow hitches higher, and the corner of Robin's mouth twitches as he tries not to smile. "In Russia." (Complete)
6. On my honor, I will do my best: Superboy hears people refer to Superman as a boyscout. So, to try to be more like Superman, he joins the boyscouts. (Complete)
7. Play It By Trust: Despite how brief his stint as Dr. Fate was, Wally can still hear Nabu when he’s near enough to the Helmet of Fate (how near is up to you anon.) Surprisingly, Nabu is kind of a bitchy roommate. (Complete)
8. Kidnapping is Bad: Wally is the only one that knows Robin's secret identity on team right? So I figure they probably hang out on the weekends in Gotham or Central or some place when they aren't doing missions or dynamic duoing. And seeing as how Dick Grayson has to be the receiving end of a multitude of kidnappings but this time I would like a time when kidnappers are forced to take Wally too because there can't be witnesses! (Complete)
9. Wally VS Wednesday: So say Wally's dating someone older, whether it's Kaldur or Roy or someone from the League, and at some point when he hasn't been having a good day, his boyfriend comes to see him after school ends, right at the gate. Cue hug, or a careless kiss, and by the next day, everyone's talking. (Complete with a few bonus chapters)
10. Baby’s First Book: Superboy is brand new in the world and he has a lot of firsts. Someone gets him a baby's first book were you put down all of the first things a baby does(first word, first laugh, first spit bubble). It can be a joke, something serious, maybe M'gann just trying to follow earth culture. Even though it's kind of silly the whole team helps to fill it up. So what would be the kind of things the team would want to remember?(Complete)
11. Wally.. Why do you Have Two Hearts?: There is something about the Young Justice team. A secret hidden so deep that only one of them is privy to the knowledge. There aren't two aliens on the team. There are three. (and Timelords are very good at running.) (WIP, But can be looked as Completed)
12. ‘Cause They’re Part of the Six Teens: The mentors have to face a horrible, horrible realization. Even though their former-sidekicks are still nominally their partners... in reality, the members of YJ are Batman's. How they come to this conclusion is up to you, but I would love to see Batman stepping up for any non-Robin member of YJ. Crack/angst/slash/gen/whatever is perfectly fine.
Bonus: "Batman is the happiest I've ever seen him. Six teenagers and they're all his." (Completed)
13. Speedster Chase Instinct: Speedsters have an innate need to chase/race really fast things. Wally keeps his under control by playing tag/racing Barry every couple of days (and vice versa), but what happens if Flash can't be there for some reason? Bonus points if he suddenly goes running after the Javelin /Batmobile (Completed)
14. Everyone Needs a Little More Dick: A certain Dick Grayson is put into the custody of a certain Agent Gibbs and his staff. He gets to meet the whole team and trolls the shit out of Tony though no one believes the poor guy when he tries to tell the others about it. Dick's got those innocent-who-me? baby blues that NO ONE can resist. Bonus if this when he's older and can still pull off the kicked puppy look. Super bonus if Superboy gets involved somehow, though just him. EPIC SUPER BONUS if you have Dick and Gibbs bonding in their red head kink. (Completed)
15. Hal Jordan or Uncle McAwesome: Five times Hal Jordan was there for Wally as an uncle/mentor and the one time Wally was there for Hal. (Completed)
16. Batty’s Little Babies: 5 Times Batman thought of the members of Young Justice as his children.(Completed)
17. Mission: Seduce Sexy Snarky Damian: Wally is thrilled when Robin tells him his secret ID! After doing so, Robin takes him to Wayne Manor to introduce him to his brothers: Damian, Tim, and Jason. What Wally wasn't expecting was the feeling that came over him as he laid eye on the gorgeous Damian Wayne. Cue Wally beginning phase one of Mission: Seduce Sexy Snarky Damian! Romance ensues! Damian/Wally Note: The ages are reversed. Meaning, Damian is the oldest (precisely what age is up to author anon), Tim's second oldest, Jason is second youngest, and Dick is the youngest. Bonus: Insert humor as Wally tries pick up lines, over the top flirting techniques, and failed attempts to be seductive, etc. (Completed, it’s a minfill)
18. Fill(It’s just called that no other name): Cadmus cloning project always ended in failure - clone degeneration, imperfect powers, starts to have mind of its own and goes against them, etc. They can't make a perfect weapon that can kill/replace Superman. So tried a different approach this time. Instead of developing one weapon, they're going to make a set of different weapons - each focusing on different powers that could go toe on toe with Superman. And so Cadmus had their perfect set of weapons. Separated, they can handle a fight of their own. They have been trained thoroughly and their powers have been honed to perfection - the clone is now stronger, the speedster now rivals the Flash with his speed, and the alien could now use all her power with great expertise. (WIP; it’s amazing though!)
19. Filling the Empty Rooms: Since Roy has shown a love for masks only rivaled by every memeber in the batfamily, I would like to request AU where Roy is adopted by Bruce. Could it also include Roy, Rob and KF hanging out in the Batcave? (Completed)
20. Kid Lantern: Wally loses his powers (reason up to anon) and starts feeling down about being depowered. Though he knows that powers don't make the hero, he still feels that he needs them help. Cue Uncle Hal lending Wally Green Lantern powers until he regains his speed (which he does, eventually). And Wally, being the ever lovable teenager that he is, has some 'fun' with those powers. Perhaps he trolls people or maybe the powers allow him to save his friends from a really powerful villain. (Complete; Minifill)
21. The Hazard of Accidental Dimension Travel: Wally doesn't disappear. He travels dimensions. The JLU one to be exact. And he manages there for quite some time, getting himself an identity, a job, and even becomes a founder of the Justice League in that dimension. (Completed)

Introducing my new characters through Vortex being an absolute wreck:
Vortex accidentally smacked Stewart’s cereal spoon, causing it to fly across the room. Stewart watched it go with a small wave. “I am so sorry! Here, I’ll get you a new one.” However, while opening the drawer to get Stewart a new spoon, Vortex struggled, wrestling it and managing. The rock and Vortex’s elbow caused the milk to fall over, spilling onto the counter and the floor until Stewart caught it. He closed it before getting a few napkins and cleaning up the mess. Vortex watched before collapsing dramatically onto the floor and holding his arms up to Stewart. “I’ll stop trying to help, I promise! You can take my blood, just please forgive me!” “I had my fair share of blood last night actually, thank you,” Stewart said, calmly collecting another spoon.

They're Flirting, Your Honor
She grabbed Vortex by his collar, looking him straight in the eyes and speaking with as much loathing as she could muster. “Stop this right now or your stay here won’t be as cushy!” Thea said, leaning forward and Vortex did the same in turn. “You call that a threat, babe? It was surprisingly tender. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re not completely onboard with this idea yourself, are you?”

Well, to help me understand the basics, what is the premise of the world itself in the new story? What sets the stage about it?
Essentially, the world of the story is one big city with three main, large districts: The normal district, the villain district, and the hero district.
The normal district is full of just your average folk living lives not unlike our own. However, the things they admire and see as noble, or the things they fear or despise effect the other two districts, creating entities with powers.
In the villain district, or the district of the dark, their fears and what they loathe become entities that soon became known as "villains". This is because, whenever those entities visited the normal district, they often caused chaos and destruction. The buildings in the villain district are tightly net together, blocking out the light entirely, though the villains can easily see in the dark.
In the hero district, or the light district, what they admired and saw as just became entities that soon became known as "heroes". This is because, whenever these entities visited the normal district, they spread hope and assistance. The buildings in the hero district are further apart and shining, this district constantly being filled with light. It doesn't bother the heroes at all, if anything, it gives them power.
Therefore, both districts have their own unique culture based on how their entities are formed and how they view themselves.

I remember you told me hero sexual culture falls into purity culture. What does that entail exactly?
TW discussion of purity culture
This came out as a bunch of ramblings, but hopefully it makes sense.
I would say, hero sexual culture is extremely straight. Like "are the straights okay" type vibes. It's not that they're homophobic, but their viewpoints on sex fit into the rigid boxes I often see in "straight culture". Such as the idea that one partner always has to be the masculine one and the other the feminine one, or double standards about what is seen as "pure" and what is not.
So like, it'd be stuff like "its perverted if you mention sexual stuff outside of a committed relationship, but if it's about a committed relationship then it's totally chill," type energy. They greatly value monogamy, and, within these relationships, what heroes do in the bedroom is expected to be "loving", which is their word for saying vanilla. Though heroes don't outright say it, they set that perspective through their disapproval of the kinky side of things. They think you should just need your partner without much on the side, and the sex toys that do exist are all focused on bringing couples closer together. Still, because heroes are often uplifted and seen as "good natured" by default, anything sexual they do would be painted under the umbrella of "loving", especially within a committed relationship, while a villain doing the same thing would be condemned.
Therefore, I think their version of purity culture is more insidious. Because, across the board, it's not as obvious as "sex is bad" or "sex is bad until you marry". Yet, there's still all these social rules and restrictions. They're open to the idea of a deep, platonic connection with a sexual side to it, but you better just keep the one partner and if you get into a romantic relationship you better stop the sexual platonic one. Have sex with whatever hero you want (they're all adults), but only if you plan to get into a committed relationship with them and only them. It's totally fine to have a sexual drive, but only if you're fulfilling it with another person. You can talk about sex but only with your partner, close friends, or to educate someone. One night stands are only okay if you're testing sexual compatibility and it doesn't work out.
Which does fit into the purity culture I occasionally see around me, or a specific strand of it. Heroes just use the nature of their sexuality, being extremely focused on the emotional side of things, to be like "we're just so innocent and cute, UWU" or assume other methods aren't as "emotionally driven".

How do the villains really see themselves? Do they just see themselves as people (in a sort of "it's just how we do things" way) or do they fully understand that they are villains, reveling or wallowing in that depending on their nature?
And, for the other side of that coin, the same ask but applied to the heroes.
I would say it highly depends on the villain, so reveling or wallowing depending on their nature. Because they are constructs come to life, some are more aware of this fact while others are not. Their nature will also dictate if their life experiences will effect them and take them past these constructs or not. A villain made from the fear of a clever individual is going to be better equipped to function the reality of their situation over one created from the fear of a brainless axe murderer, as an example. Either way, they receive social disdain that will affect their outlooks on life. For a villain, their self confidence begins to be chipped away at from the moment they're created and it is revealed what they are. Because of the way they were created, it is impossible to eliminate this title no matter how they feel about it, so they just have to make do.
Take the two main villain characters, for instance, Vortex and Stewart. Both of these two are notably very aware that they were originally constructs come to life. This is because Vortex was created from society's disdain over sly, heartless playboys, and Stewart from the Catholic (mostly on the extreme side) fear of a pious individual who is pious towards the opposite values of their own, but clever enough not to let this show.
They both react to this in very different ways, from Vortex being rather self loathing to Stewart viewing being "socially unacceptable" as not such a bad thing. Vortex struggles within the district, but Stewart makes do by making connections with the villains who are similar to himself and Vortex. Because villains are simply made from what the normal society fears and disdains, very subjective categories, there's a lot of room for debate over whether or not every villain is created purely evil, or if there's a flexibility in this. These debates happen between villains and among the normal citizens observing them from the outside. But viewpoints within their favor are rare and far between. In truth, a lot of villains end up being modeled after outcasts of society more than they're modeled after monsters, but there are certainly the monsters too.
Heroes are often treated with less flexibility, given adoration without really having to work towards it. People don't want to admit that what they value may not be as good as they think, or that this value taken to an extreme can cause more harm than good. Heroes, after all, are made through these values or adoration. Heroes typically live more cushy existences within their district and outside of it that fosters self confidence. Heroes are rarely made to see their existence as anything but bringing more good into the world. Heroes hate villains because heroes are often built from values that directly contrast them, causing them to lash out from feelings of moral superiority or fear. This has led to the hero district having more extreme views on villains than the normal one and being filled with propaganda in favor of this.

That's awesome!! Better to ask follow-ups as reblogs, or should I send them in more asks?
