#oc: milk

My new ocs, Honey and Milk, came from an old concept I was working on back in 2018. I thought it'd be funny if the new versions got to interact with their old counterparts ^^

[ID: A comic of some original characters interacting with each other. In the first panel Honey, a black man with bleached dreads, wearing a bee themed sweater. Hes looks at a young boy with confusion. The younger one is also Honey, but a much earlier version. This one has lighter brown skin and blond hair, wears a red hoodie and green shorts. He does a little dance for his counterpart. The older one of the two asks, "So this is who I'm based off of? How-"

The next two panels are close ups of original Honey and redesigned Honey respectively. Original Honey sticks his tongue out being all silly. New Honey looks at him with a sour face and finishes his sentence with "Disappointing."

The last panel shows another original character, Milk, interacting with her earlier design. The revamped Milk is a winged fairy with white skin and a cream colored dress and pigtails. Original Milk stands on the ground with her short stature, wearing a cow print cloak over a green shirt. She has similar pigtails, except with black tips on the ends. She has vitiligo spots on her face. Both versions seem to be happy to meet each other, further shown when the fairy says "I dunno- mine's kinda cute!"

Below all the panels is a small drawing of a third character, Lemon, standing alone. Lemon is a brown skinned person wearing blue overalls and a leaf print bandana. They have a large sword drooping in one hand. As he quivers and cries by himself, a faded caption below him reads "meanwhile Lemon is all alone..."

Meet Honey (the ex-chosen one), Lemon (the new chosen one), and Milk (their guide through all the horrors)!

"Is...this is really.... milk?"

Lifting the glass, you stir the cloudy liquid at its bottom with the straw so graciously provided by the hybrid - alarm belts ringing at the back of your mind due to how fluidly the tool moved through it. You heard coconut milk was on the thicker, creamer end of the spectrum compared to other types of milk, but it still seemed just a bit too runny to actually be the described drink offer to you. The smell was somewhat off as well. More pungent than the slightly sweet fragrance of fresh coconut.

You look towards Rotten Milk for an answer who was too preoccupied with fixing their belt to meet your gaze. Feeling the weight of your stare, they finally glance over at you - cheeks flushed and skin damp with sweat.

"Why don't you try a sip and see for yourself?"
