Plagiarism: The act of stealing another person's work or ideas and passing them off as your own.
using someone else's writing as your own, purchasing information from a website or assembling phrases, concepts, and sentences from multiple sources to compose an essay.
The use of AI chat,
advantage: ·Quickly process large amounts of literature, data and information, helping researchers write and edit papers faster.
·Reduce research costs, especially for studies that require a lot of repetitive work.
·Automated tasks: checking for spelling and grammatical errors, citations, formatting, etc.
·Discover patterns, trends or correlations that may have been overlooked before
shortcoming: ·Lack of creativity and uniqueness
·Logical errors, inaccurate information, or incomplete analysis may occur, affecting the credibility of the paper.
·There are risks involved in citing sources and intellectual property, and there are legal and ethical issues involved.
In academia, attitudes towards AI writing vary from person to person. Some view AI writing as a beneficial tool that can help speed up research progress and increase efficiency, while others worry that it could undermine originality and credibility in academia.
to avoid plagiarism you can use the following:
·paraphrasing
·summarizing
·direct quotes with citations
·referencing
referencing styles and citation styles such as:
·Harvard Referencing
·APA Referencing
·MLA Referencing
·Vancouver Referencing
·Chicago Referencing
·IEEE Referencing
·MHRA Referencing
·OSCOLA Referencing
common knowledge references is not necessarily a must to be citated as it is widely known, like:
·facts
·dates
·events
·general knowledge

research on game and game design, i have chosen to talk about minecraft
it is a sandbox game developed by Swedish game designer Markus Persson, also known as Notch by players, on June 7, 2009. Over the past fifteen years, it has evolved into a powerful global cultural force. From its initial concept to its current global phenomenon, the history of Minecraft is a legend full of creativity, social interaction, and endless possibilities.
The inspiration for Minecraft came when Notch first encountered games like "Infiniminer" and "Dwarf Fortress" in the early months of 2009. Initially, the game's design drew inspiration from the 2D, top-down sandbox mining and management game "Dwarf Fortress." However, after discovering "Infiniminer," Notch decided on the perspective and block elements for future iterations of Minecraft. Inspired by these games, Notch was determined to create an open-world, highly customizable sandbox game. This led to the birth of a creatively rich block world, which is one of Minecraft's core principles.
Minecraft is not an isolated existence; it incorporates numerous elements from the real world. Survival elements in the game, such as mining, crafting tools, and constructing buildings, are derived from real-life skills. Additionally, the introduction of real-world elements such as animals, plants, weather systems, and ecosystems enhances the game's playability, allowing players to immerse themselves more deeply in this fictional block world.
The enduring popularity of Minecraft is closely tied to its continuous version updates. Each update introduces new blocks, creatures, and mechanics, keeping the game fresh. However, these changes are not arbitrary; they are driven by profound reasons, ranging from game balance to player feedback, with each version release aimed at better meeting player needs while maintaining the game's core principles.
Minecraft stands out in the gaming world for its emphasis on creativity and freedom. Unlike other games, Minecraft lacks a clear victory condition, allowing players to build, adventure, or collaborate based on their preferences. This openness accommodates various gaming styles, attracting players from different backgrounds.
One of the reasons Minecraft distinguishes itself from games of the past and present is its long-lasting lifecycle. Many games are gradually forgotten after a certain period, but Minecraft has successfully maintained its appeal through continuous updates, adaptability to the times, and seizing opportunities.
