Medora "Dora" Hodge: Perfect daughter. Perfect sister.

As the eldest child of Leir Hodge, many expectations were piled upon Medora. She never had much of a hand for magic but she did have an eye for business and has helped her father expand the family's enterprises. Often overlooked in favor of her younger twin siblings, Medora strives to be the perfect daughter, and to be the perfect daughter she must be the perfect sister, and to be the perfect sister the family must survive. But what will happen when the very foundation of that family collapses?

Also I should say her partner and human friend (sorta) DO have names and designs, but idk if I should include in here cuz I don’t wanna overly convolute this more than I already am ermmm

Backstory summary:

Raised by her parents in an abandoned video rental shop, there was a small, tight knit borrower community. Her parents were afraid of leaving the building, and they all often just did services (mostly babysitting and helping with medicine/herbs) in exchange for food and such so they didn’t have to go out and borrow a lot. She went on her first borrowing trip around the age of 13 after constantly pestering her neighbor to bring her along. From then on, they regularly went on trips together. She was accidentally left behind one time and encountered a human. But because she was wearing a bird mask and cloak, they were terrified of her and fled. Her interest in humans has been piqued since she saw them in a new light, as she has only ever heard horror stories of them. Also because she thought the situation was pretty funny. She’d try and tag along with other borrowers to go on more borrowing trips, just so she could go outside as much as possible and observe humans from afar. During a trip, she finds an injured borrower stuck in a hamster cage. Helping them escape and having to deal with a dangerous human, she remembers the fragility of their species and slowly drops her interest in humans, becoming more anxious. She befriends the borrower and they stay with her family for a while to heal. They become quite close and start dating. They eventually move out together to explore, one day moving in an old apartment. Unfortunately, her partner suddenly falls ill, having to leave Medora to do the borrowing. She never formally borrowed on her own, and she was caught rather quickly due to her clumsiness. But she managed to make a deal with the human, where they leave out food for her and they both promise to never bug each other. They both do end up somewhat befriending the human at one point.

- likes opera theatre despite knowing nothing about it, fav song is Habanera lol

-fascinated by disorienting, overbearing, and geometrical imagery. She’s a lil weirdo

-Scared of beaked animals, especially dolphins. They give her the heebie jeebies.

-this is why she wears a bird mask, so she can scare other people just in case

-asked her mom to make her bird mask when she was about 8, it’s made out of crafting foam and thread!!! Also none of her family is good at sewing.

-she is terrible at sewing as well but. she tries

-family is very knowledgeable about plants, she did pick up on some of it but she’s not very interested

I do want to know if anyone would actually read a drabble of an oc I made for the house of Dragon, ima try to kinda make a summery of it but idk I may or may not actually go through with it though maybe not js a thought so it's not read through so yes spelling mistakes bellow sorry

Her name is medora targaryen, a girl that was unfortunately born with Ice magic I made it so that whatever she touches after at least three minutes with start to grow frost on it and if it is a person they end up getting frost bite from her touch earning her the name the ice witch.

Medora is the half daughter of Visery and a maid of his, she's an accident and alicent decides to take her from her from her birth mother in viserys request her since she is his daughter.

They find out about her ice magic(they being only alicent, helaena, aegon and aemond) when she accidentally gave alicent frost bite after getting upset and reached out for alicents arm and ya know gave her frost bite. Afterthat medora was rarely seen without a pair of thick black gloves on at all times, her fingers covered in frost underneath the gloves.

At first he wanted nothing to do with this kid but came around to the idea, which was real convenient cause her mom got killed by her own family. Guess we locked in for life now. She has his werewolf gene and is trying her hardest to succeed in school to hopefully make their life better.

She also has experienced being over sexualized like many other girls and it always being her fault has been drilled into her head. When she is sent to camp and claimed by Aphrodite, she hates it. She doesn’t hate her cabin mates but she, like others, mistakenly believe that Aphrodite only represents sex and she blames her for all the sexualization she’s faced. She is desperate to prove that she can be more and throws herself into situations that are way too big for only her to handle. She has to figure out what Aphrodite means to her, how to love herself as she is, how to get her inner light back and has to learn how to recognize that she is a victim and that creeps exist. It is not her job to make sure they keep their comments and hands to themselves.

Anyways She is one of RLS Legacy's Carpenters. (There is one more of my oc who is the other Carpenter. He works with her) She is a human from Greek origins who was homeless until she started to steal people from the streets of random Space stations.

Her life changed when she became the Carpenter's 'helper' in RLS Legacy ship before Jim Hawkings found the map. I was thinking later on to make her a Carpenter for the RLS for some years until the last journey with Jim Hawkings and Flint's Treasure Hunt thing.

big sister out of 4 half-elves born to the same human mother, Jocelyn, with 4 separate baby daddies lmao

Auretta's father, Eilethal, is a sun elf from the city of Taltempla on Evermeet—a city full of elves, focused on magic, learning, and religion.

Auretta inherited her father's divine magic but failed to find somebody capable of properly teaching her (she and her mother lived in a town with almost no magic for 13~ years before moving to BG, where they struggled to find and afford a teacher).

a few months after her 20th birthday, Eilethal finally showed up after forgetting how time works for two decades #justelfthings. he offered to bring her back to Taltempla with him so he could teach her magic and she ended up agreeing.

Auretta would occasionally utilize magic to speak with her family back in BG, and made 2-3 visits thru the years, but ultimately she got worse at maintaining contact over the course of her 35~ years in the elven city.

by the time she reunites with her siblings for the BG3 campaign, it's been years since they've seen each other and there's definitely an adjustment period to the Auretta who changed quite a bit during her time with the elves.

her childhood isn't determined yet bc i focused on her later life but she's giving only child. maybe an orphan, idk

worked as an archivist within BG's temple district, reading through countless scrolls and tomes and manuscripts and yada yada. tragically boring woman who loved her work even tho it was one of the most dull and tedious things to most other people

undecided on some of the details, but what matters is that Medora finds a lost page written by Deneir himself with vague ramblings that she believes tell of a secret hidden away within the Weave itself. insert some nonsense about questing and tracking down here. Medora finds and tugs on the strand of the Weave and discovers what it really was—a fragment of the deity himself, safely hidden until her nosy ass decided to seek it out, now bound inside of her.

Medora becomes a vessel for the First Scribe, infused with his long dormant magic and a part of his soul. this leads to her divine soul leveling as he becomes stronger during her BG3 adventure. undecided what becomes of this fragment (she might keep it idk), or if he speaks to her or not.

Medora goes thru numerous changes due to this merge. she slowly becomes more obsessive and scatter-minded; she undertakes his abandoned quest searching for the Metatext; her eyes shift entirely to his vibrant purple, and as she gains levels they begin to sprout veins of gold from the pupil outwards as the divine magic pushes her body's limits; her hair begins to grey to match his; her eyesight gets worse without the use of magic lmao

a peak in "gotta add headcanons into the story to give more character and exploration" oc creation. yeah she's interacting w the main game story but also i've got my own fun stuff to imagine on the side also going down

not sure about her romance. Gale seems fitting for numerous reasons but we'll see
