#oc: cornelius snow

I finally gave up the laziness and decided to do the whole tree. Not totally complete because I insist that it must be a too long family tree but this is as far as my thoughts have gone. Let's start.

1. Hortensia is not new. She just hasn't appeared before because the Snows keep deleting women from the official family tree as if it were a hobby. In theory anyone who loses their surname should be erased but how convenient that in most cases it is the womens who are forced to change their surname. Nothing suspicious. When little Tigris found out, it gave her a crisis I won't lie.

2. The Mars are an old family that has always had blood connections with the Snows. Now why three children? I like number 3 and I think it's the way the Snow monopoly in D13 was divided at the time. Good to note if Marius married Aelia, those assets became his and as we know the fool will die passing those accumulated assets to Crassus! A rather more powerful Snow heir than usual.

3. There are fashions in names and traditions. Not always but the Snows sometimes have this custom of choosing a name that had not belonged to anyone in their family and using another name of some ancestor of theirs who brought glory to the Snows in the hope that the child named after them can replicate the exploits of that family member. This happens only with sons.

Hadrianus is a popular name because he was one of the founders of the family in the old days when Panem was North America, hence it has been used 10 times already.

Although that's not always the reason fir the second names there's also the mess of rescuing a name. Which I'll explain below.

Tiberius Xanthos (who liked more to be called Xanthos), had no children. He was married but got divorced, it was a very ugly and scandalous affair, it is said that there was something about a bastard child.... And that Xanthos was infertile. So with no heir whatsoever, his brother promised him that he would not let his legacy die and would name one of his sons after him.

Clearly he did not do that with his firstborn, but he did with his second son: Crassus. Let it not be said that he did not keep his word.

As a curiosity many believed that Crassus calling Coriolanus that particular name when his younger half-brother Cornelius was known to be unmarried was because he wanted to rescue his legacy. Crassus took it upon himself to remind everyone that this was not the case.

Why Coriolanus? Ah that was Julia's doing. She saw the play and was fascinated. She insisted ad nauseam to Crassus and he only listened to her when she presented the very convincing argument that Coriolanus would be the first of many in the Snow family.

He has no middle name because Crassus together with Julia agreed it would be something strange to give him two names with C and he didn't was Xanthos the third because Crassus, unlike his uncle, did not like the name.

And Tigris? Ah that's simple. The Snow's don't have traditions about naming daughters (probably fashions yes, like too many Claudias at some time) but someone liked geography and did some research on it because they wanted an important place in history and "Look Aelia I don't believe in that mystical stuff but there was a garden-"

I think Tigris' mother liked it because of the obvious connection to Tiger. It sounds like she would be a girl with attitude, it sounds like what she wants her baby to be.

Erinna is theoretically the name Coriolanus' dead sister would have. He never knew because his mother refused to tell him, instead insisting he should try to guess the name. They made a deal and all, if Coriolanus guessed before his little sister was born, Julia would get him a perfectly functional toy gun. Otherwise he would only get candy to celebrate his effort.

I think it was in Julia's head to reveal the name as soon as the baby was born and Coriolanus could visit them in the hospital.

Loves snow boarding, ice skating and snowman building.

Talented at doing ice sculpture, which's her activity on spare time.

Befriend with Barbatos, since she was idolized him for amazing ice skating at the competition.

Aggressive and pride of his aristocratic status, but keep in low-key.

Has ability to create an illusion to scare the opponent away.

Even so Qinglan has a pair of wings, he rarely use to fly. He is an avid walker.

Solomon is his first human friend, where met at the Royal Library of Devildom. Moreover, Qinglan, who hates bad attitudes, doesn't care Solomon's childish behavior.

Work as dance instructor at the School for Pixies. Aphrodite is her disciple.

The colors of her dress code are pink, red and white that she fondly of.

While having the butterflies appear within her range or travel across the surface of an area, she have capability of conjure butterflies either by dancing.

Strict on the surface, but actually hiding self-blame and even soft-heartedness.

Loves things touched like clouds, like cotton candy and pillows

Befriend Simeon and Lucifer, whom she sympathizes with, also the one helped them mend their relationship.

In addition, she also met her disciple Hera. However, she feeling something, either was Hera at first who has a feeling for her.

Has a sword that possesses magic that can be used to expel dark souls to Hellfire, as well as has capability of light magic that can expel dark curses.

Celestia's twin sister, born later than her elder sister.

Quiet and rarely shows any other emotion besides annoyance or boredom, yet cares for family and friends deeply.

Like Celestia, Terrestria being the possessor of the Hell General and hails to the Devildom shortly after she was born.

Owns the powers of earth to manipulate the solid objects like rocks and minerals.

Love sewing and designing, but dislikes to show her works in front of people.

Befriend with Mephistopheles, when Terrestria bumped into at the mansion garden. She respects Mephisto's choices, although she had been bored and annoyed by his ridiculous ideas.

Pixie of Healing.

The one help Talia to search the remedy for cure the sleeping curse.

Like Lyssa, Cornelius has ability to cure the water pollution from his unicorn magic.

He opens his own pharmacy to save more villagers' life.

Prefer to have a peace, even so everyone suggested him to join the army.

Has the power of duplication, that he can perfectly replicate himself. Therefore, other clones have their unique personality.

Aqua, as a clone with blue clothes, showing as emo person with stubborn side. Yet he is compassion, gentle and friendly one. Likes to isolate away from outsiders and reading books.

While, Pinkie, other clone with pink clothes, is different than Aqua. He is a guy with the immature attitude of over-optimistic. Still he is empathize with person he cares, and very generous of them.

He opens himself as bisexual, though mostly people he had date were female.

He was once have crushed on Qinglan. Later he gave up for confession and hatred him, when discovered Qinglan's arrogance.

Name headcanons:

Bandanna Lady (oc) - Etoelle

Based her name and those of the other alien gals on different words for “star,” French in her case. She doesn’t normally go by it for two reasons: 1) it’s not very intimidating and 2) it connects her directly to her family, and they’re not too happy with her right now.

Hat Kid - Zirka

I tried coming up with names based on the signatures, but we don’t know enough about their language to discern where one letter ends and the next begins, so I’m taking creative license here. This one’s the Urkainian word for “star.”

Bow Kid - Naleli

Based on the Sesotho (one of the official languages of South Africa) word for “star.” Honestly this is one of the prettiest words for “star” besides the Germanic-based ones.

Mustache Girl - Muriel

It’s an English name, so it matches her accent, more or less. It has her main nickname as part of it, as well, so you can see where the diminutive “Mu” came from, and an appropriate reason for not telling it to others would be that it’s a bit of an old lady name.

The Conductor - Cináed

I know he’s called The Conductor in canon, but I like the idea of him having a real name and just. keeping it to himself for the most part because nobody pronounces it right and it drives him batty. It also means “born of fire,” and I think that suits him (especially if you go by the headcanon that he’s part dragon or what have you).

The Prince - Kai

This one’s more a reference to the Hans-Christian Anderson story The Snow Queen. To summarize a rather complex story, Kai is the young boy who the protagonist of the story is out to rescue from the Snow Queen, who has corrupted him to forget his love for his friends and family and to be numbed to the cold. Interestingly, “Kai” is short for a lot of different names in Europe, including Gerhard, Nicolaas, Cornelius, or Gaius, all rather royal-sounding names to me.

Not headcanoning for the Mafia because they already seem to have their names (”Mafia”), I don’t doubt DJ Grooves is his real name (if he wasn’t born with it he probably had it legally changed to it when he became a producer), and knowing cats, Empress is probably her real name.

Mara: Vampire Lord, took up Harkon’s mantle after she and Serana killed him. High elf, proficient in swordsmanship and minor magic. She has two daughters, Lucia and Sophie, and their dog, Meeko.

Equiun: Daedra worshipper and Last Dragonborn. A dark elf werewolf who said fuck it and literally became the champion of every daedric prince just so he can watch them fight over his soul when he dies. Heavy armoured, and favours big hammers. Married Jenassa, and has a son and daughter.

Solovythei: Snow Elf Listener of the Dark Brotherhood. Got sick of the Vale and Vyrthur. Spends most of their time with Cicero or Nazir.

Atrizander: Leader of the Companions and descendant of the Madgod. Heavy-armoured but prefers swords and shields. Married to Vilkas and they own dogs together.

Smoke-on-Water: Formerly Fire-on-Water but he got old and changed his name. Old Khajiit fisherman, raised by Argonians. Lives alone.

Jaxyn: Guildmaster of the Thieves Guild. Used to be a Stormcloak but other soldiers gave him shit when they found out he was born in Cyrodiil.

Prism Silver-Snare: Blind Nord mercenary. Became a sellsword to make a new beginning for himself when he started his transition.

Void and Nightingale Shadow-Flame: Twin Wood Elf archers with the Companions.

Ara: Leader of the Dawnguard. Formerly a Dark Brotherhood speaker, got a little too heated in a fight with Isran. Took up his title to avoid questioning.

Thelonius Valtieri: Descendant of Vicente. The only known person to be both a werewolf and a vampire at the same time.

Athra-gra-Kin: Orcish spellsword, raging lesbian. Suplexed Grelod and told Astrid to go fuck herself, now she runs an orphanage with her wife.

Theta Tucker: Atrizander’s ancestor, Madgod. Was just some dude who wandered into the Shivering Isles and became a daedric sugar baby.

Juno: Hero of Kvatch. Very, v e r y fucking tired, all the time. Fell in love with Martin, but lets be honest, who didnt?

Flesh-Flayer: A Khajiit nightblade who, in truth, has no clue what the fuck he's doing.

Payday

Ray: Hoxton’s arsonist little brother.

Mox: Former Cloaker, left the PD to reconnect with Bodhi after a heist.

Baron: Former mountain climber who lost a few limbs, an old friend of Duke's.

Chupacabra: Former Cartel member, joined when the gang found him bleeding out and took care of him.

Hit and Runs

The Hit and Runs is a pirate rp I'm in with some close friends.

Toreador: Resident doctor with a 99% success rate. Vampire and oldest crewmember at 784 years old. "Married" (not technically but Tori cant go on church grounds so :/) to Qamar, his nurse.

Jesse: Vengeful sea spirit, son of the captain of a different crew. Controls up to 80 disembodied hands and sports eight bright red spider legs on his back. Boyfriends with Lavender, Toreador's descendent.

Cornelius: Nicknamed Haron, one of the only children on-board (he's 17). Technically an Amnesia oc. Uses a ton of magic and is actually a horrible person but people still like him anyways for some reason.

Fleisch: A psycho from Pandora that got caught up in timey bullshit and was whisked away to the H&R universe. Technically a Borderlands oc that I made for the H&Rs.

Tchaikovsky: Russian Minotaur who has a passion for ventriloqy. Can shapeshift into a few other forms but prefers his base form. Real name is Boris.

Eileen: Cornelius' s close childhood friend. Also technically an Amnesia oc.

Star Wars (finally)

Darth Sirus: The youngest of his group. Kylo Ren's childhood friend and training buddy, left the First Order after he got sick of him.

Darth Tretcher: Half-Zabrak Sith, former scavenger.

Darth Akkosan/Kazzarakk: Also Half-Zabrak. Sirus's mentor, and honestly, the scarier of the two.

Darth Malonian: Half Gungan, Half Twi'lek. Around during the Old Republic, but got his shit rocked during Order 66 and got frozen.

Darth Parshakoth: Starweird Sith Lord, created by Abeloth for the sole purpose of saving her.

Lumia: Twi'lek engineer and tinkerer, Parshakoth's best friend and partner.

Torin: Miralukan Grey Force user. Was a Jedi during the Old Republic, but disappeared during Order 66.

Other

Scizax: Warcraft 3 oc. Devout acolyte of the undead, but also enjoys spending time around living people and plants when he can. Used to be a cleric.

Coma: Changeling echo knight. Based off of weirdcore and generally just makes it's crewmates uncomfy.

Lancelot: Borderlands oc. Fast-paced stealth fighter who worked with the presequel gang.

Payn: Just some guy. Thats it. Hes just some dude covered in bandages.

Bluey: Dsaf oc, name still in the works. Jack’s good friend and Resident “Dude who chases Dave with a flyswatter”

The Window Tapper Incident: Trollge oc, fucking feral but has a decent singing voice.

Mal Day: Analog horror oc, based heavily off of the intruder from the Mandela Catalogue.

Mozi: FNaF oc. Moth animatronic who runs a meow-wolf-esque section in the Pizzaplex.

Barker: FNaF oc. Beagle animatronic who runs a bumper car rink. Was first introduced as a Toy animatronic, and played xylophone.

Sawyer: Another horror-ish oc. I dont even know where to start.

Agent Zav/ Agent SKIZE: RvB/Halo oc, worked with Noble Team before the fall of Reach, joined up with Project Freelancer afterward. Still hangs around the reds and blues.

Abt the books… We have an issue here hahaha, because books like novels, is something I don't read that often bc of college stuff (although I'm hoping that will change for a subject I'll be taking hehe >:) but lately I was checking some pdfs of two novels I read in my teenage years and I really liked them. They are romances and they have very dope social-political criticisms about México in those times (mex revolution - post revolution

That's it Como agua para chocolate by Laura Esquivel (this have some subtle magic realism. We follow Tita de la Garza, the youngest of her family that want marry with a guy, however, the tradition say the youngest daughter cant marry bc she have to take care of her parents once they are old.) and Arráncame la vida by Ángeles Mastretta (Catalina Guzman marry the general Andres Ascencio, who's 15 years older than her, and we follow her path of self discovery and change after that tormentous marriage. She will have some character arc.)

Now my opinions about the 3 stupid Snow brothers: They suck. We should dance over their graves honestly.

My opinion about Pluribus: Shes an icon. Shes a legend. Shes the moment.

I think Im funny but here are some headcanons:

I already said it but I'll say it again, when they want to annoy each other they use the ridiculous middle name they have and say the number of times that name has already been used in the family tree or (they look great octavius the fifth, xanthos the second, hadrianus the tenth).

there are many things we can blame marius for but he have some fault over crassus being so terrible with cornelius, he didn't give him the best example as an old brother. Like marius is the most prudent and calm of the three, yet while they were growing up he hit crassus many times LMAO (he broke his nose once). He always feel very stressed - with pression over him, then crassus was always silly, so he overreacted. Later was surprise crassus was being that violent with cornelius ☠️

The 3 at differents points of their lives were the "black sheeps" of the Snow family or depending certain age, they parents try to strangle them. crassus was the worst teen over earth. cornelius in college lie over became a lawyer and sneak into dramaturgia classes. and marius began the fall of the snow house when he fucking die in the worst way. no one has flopped like him bc he was uncapable of break the strike the fabrics in d13 that were for the missing of security - safety protocolos in their fabrics and he die in an explosion provoked exactly for that... damading on top of all an eletricity center.

marius and cornelius live their best life when crassus was in college bc 1. That bitch was outside home all day 2. That bitch was being gay so they could mock him at his back, they missed those times.

I dont think they have a common sibling relationship but most like if the 3 were coworkers forced to intimicy.

For Pluribus I have a bunch of hcs too sOO HERE WE GOO. I've said before how I personally don't think the Capitol in TBOSAS was lgbtq+ friendly at all, while I don't think there was criminalization of the act, there was too much rejection and censorship of queer expression, so I think film and television were governed by a code that dictated what was decent to show on screen (which became more radical after the war) and a common thing that was not shown was the depiction of queer couples, so I think one of the first things he started to smuggle in were independent films (sometimes pornographic films) about queer couples.

this relates to I think he wanted to be an actor, and in fact he studied at an arts college for a while but ended up dropping out because of financial problems, so that film thing started because he was very fond of that medium.

I think Pluribus probably did drag.

his husband cyrus fell in love with him the first moment he saw him but it took pluribus longer, cyrus responded to an ad that pluribus placed to invite emerging artists to perform at his bar, and although he didn't hate cyrus' songs he didn't think they were a big deal, and in fact he planned on not telling him the times so he wouldn't play at his bar LMAO but cyrus pop up every night bc he have a crush for Bell suffering.
