aza & professor ziesii in the core of myself.

azucena has been attending naranja academy for two years, and for those two years, she has been in love with nemona. however, she has never managed to get close to the student council president for more than a few conversations. then, that rhythmi girl shows up at the academy and nemona is all over her!

to say aza makes a bad decision in catching a high-level scovillain from nearby her hometown of alfornada was to say the absolute least about it.

she gets attention from nemona finally, but not in the way she wanted.

professor ziesii was an exceptionally bright light. clever beyond comparison with a deep love for knowledge, she came to paldea seeking just that. with some kind words from her old professors back in unova, she lands herself a spot on professor sada’s great crater exploration team. simply descending into area zero itself, ziesii would note as amongst her greatest scientific discoveries.

unlike many of the other team members, it was ziesii’s name that often accompanied sada’s, she was as well-known as the paldean herself.

it’s a shame that she, and her partnering professor, have disappeared from the public eye in the last year.

I know there's not much interaction between us but I really really do need your help this time

I'm changing my stardew valley OCs name. I want to detach myself from it because I want to start writing and writing as if I was the protagonist is a little too weird for me so since I'm Poppy (thanks to one of my nephews back in 2012) I want my oc have a flower name... Or maybe just botanical

So I have some options, but don't wanna can't make the decision by myself for some reason. So will you help me please?

The reason why I think Victor is the most interesting newcomer is because he felt natural, and he feels like an actual character. Like with Victor you can say well, he's sarcastic, he's kind of a jerk at times, he's a womanizer which further shows that he's bit of a jerk. He's also suave, elegant/extravagant, and well meaning. Although Reina is also full of character, Victor felt more... natural in the story? Like his role felt more natural. Reina felt like she just kind of pushed herself into the story. Like she's someone's OC inserted into an already established lore. Because she doesn't really DO anything but talk about the devil gene and show interest in the devil gene - up until the last moment when we find out she wants to avenge her father (who's actually alive lmao)

And then Azucena has both the problems of lacking character, and you questioning why she's even in the story at all. Azucena has a pretty face and all, but she falls flat as a character.

Introducing my OCs (at least, the most important ones)

Orella and her two adopted siblings, Corazón and Azucena. They are the main characters (Orella being the protagonist) of my novel, which doesnt have a title yet :)

Orella: she/her, 21 (starts the story as 13). She's training to become a knight, and her dream is to be a great knight of legend, just like the man who saved her years ago. When she was a kid, her village was destroyed and she lost her entire family. Since then, shes very protective of Corazón and Azucena, the other two survivors of the incident, and sees them as her new family.

Orella was born with no affinity for magic, like most of the common folk. But, a lot of the people training to become knights do have magical talents, so to compensate, she has trained hard and become the physically strongest of her generation, and the most skilled swordwoman. She and Corazon are rivals, although she doesnt take their rivalry too seriously.

She has a very laidback, chill personality. Shes always joking and goofing around so people often underestimate her and think shes just brawn and no brains, but shes a very intuitive person. Orella doesnt mind people not taking her seriously, she knows shes strong and is focused on her dreams. Shes very idealistic and believes in good old chivalry and honor, which get challenged during the course of the story.

Her struggle to keep her family safe and together is what drives the story.

Corazón: he/him, 20 (starts as 12). He's also a knight in training and shares Orellas dream. Unlike her, he was born with the affinity for soul magic (one of the two magic systems in the setting). Specifically, hes a Soul Collector, someone whos able to steal others souls and use them to manifest attributes from their previous holders (the strenght of a warrior, the claws of a tiger, etc). Hes very talented at it, and it was this magic that saved him from the destruction of their village. During the destruction, he found Azucena (a street kid) and tried to protect her, until they were found by Orella and she saved them both.

Corazon has a cold personality and is very closed off. He doesnt see Orella and Azucena as his family, at least not at this point in the story, as he values his lost blood family more than them. He clings to his lost ones tightly. To him, Orella is his rival first and foremost. He often follows his emotions and doesnt think before acting.

Azucena: she/her, 18 (starts as 10). Shes the youngest of the trio. She was abandoned on the streets when their village was destroyed, until Corazón found her. She was also training to become a knight, but she was only doing it so she wouldnt be separated from them, and had very little aptitude for fighting, being the worst of her class and always ditching the training to hide and read. Her only wish is to remain with her siblings, but fears she worries them too much and that shes dead weight to them.

She seemingly doesnt have any magic habilities, but later discovers she has a secret talent for witchcraft that makes her one of the most powerful individuals in the world. This is quite upsetting to her, as it makes her a valuable pawn in the games of others. Azucenas lack of control on her own life is slowly coming to the forefront of her mind, and her building rage scares even her. She only wishes to be with her family, at peace.

👀 for the Pokemon OCs : 3

okay this is gonna be pretty heavily spoiler-y for both pokemon scarvi and my pokefic, the core of myself!!

first up, rhythmi!

overall, the core of myself is a self-love story. or a ‘learning to forgive myself’ story.

she starts off hating herself because of what happened in her kalos journey. ‘what happened’ being that her mawile died. her mawile got really sick and the pokecenter couldn’t help her; it was a bit like pokemon rabies and rhythmi got injured by her mawile shortly before it died; it’s how she got the scars on her forearm that i’ve briefly mentioned in tcom. she blames herself for mawile’s death. she gave away all her other pokemon to friends she’d made in kalos, only kept skitty, and has been pretty uncomfortable with battling since then. later in tcom, arven is the first person she ever tells about it after finding out about his sick mabosstiff.

also she’s a huge history nerd and, during her treasure hunt, tracks down the ‘four treasures of ruin’ and gifts them to raifort for her to study them. there’s a chance it’s not going to end well.

next, azucena aka aza!

aza is a big lesbian. she’s 17, so she’s still in her baby gay era. she’s had the biggest crush on nemona ever since she started at naranja academy and has unsuccessfully been trying to get nemona’s attention. she gets jealous easily and rhythmi quickly becomes the object of her anger when nemona starts hanging around her so much and because aza sees how nemona jumps to defend rhythmi. this all culminates in aza going off to catch an high-levelled scovillain that she can’t control because she doesn’t have the badges for it and all her other pokemon are low-levelled. she brings this scovillain out in a battle during battle studies against rhythmi and, because it’s so high-levelled, aza can’t control it. it goes nuts and attempts to attack rhythmi’s skitty with a strong flamethrower that rhythmi jumps in front of to protect her own pokemon.

it eventually works out for aza and nemona when aza and rhythmi later become friends themselves during the treasure hunt and aza apologises a lot for what happened.

finally, miss unovan professor herself, ziesii!

ziesii has been in professor sada’s life for a long time by the point of tcom. she was a bit like an aunt to arven, but admittedly wasn’t that great either since she also kind of abandoned him to go down into the great crater. she and sada eventually got together after arven’s dad left. they were never openly official and just came off as ‘very close partners in science’, but any queer person would know the truth. she was deeply affected by seeing sada get killed by the aggressive koraidon, and kind of just ... broke. she couldn’t bare to leave the great crater, plus she realistically couldn’t with that pokemon hanging around. so she’s been trapped in the deepest great crater lab for months, mourning and slowly losing her mind with only ai sada for talkable company.

it takes her a long time to get back to somewhat-normal after the group drag her out of the great crater. she never really gets over losing sada, but pulls herself together for long enough to compile and release their great crater discoveries.

here are my favorite four characters from my original story "La Ejecutora" -portraits made on artbreeder

upper left is Olimpia Gómez, the main character. shes an agent of the mysterious Sociedad, a secret society of spies and mercenaries who are brainwashed since infancy to comply to orders. she slowly begins to realize this and how the Sociedad is inherently broken, just as more and more agents are rebelling against it.

upper right is Ariana D'Amato, a sicilian immigrant in Buenos Aires who works as a phone operator while also being in what remains of the local anarchist party. she falls in love with Olimpia, putting both of them at risk of execution by the Sociedad -but they manage to find a way to stay together in relative safety.

lower left is Eugenia Martínez, a close friend of Olimpia but who grows apart from her as Olimpia tries to leave the Sociedad. she is now "married" to Olimpia's ex boyfriend, and despite having to raise their kid in secret from the Sociedad (which would rather take the kid and brainwash him to become an agent like his parents), tries her best to still be a good agent and follow orders as to not raise any suspicions.

lower right is Azucena Velázquez, daughter of prominent and powerful figures in the Sociedad. she had been in love with Olimpia since they were children, and just as Olimpia begins to question the Sociedad, so does she. however, as she also holds a lot of influence inside the Sociedad, she manages to cause an upheaval and a total dismantling of the Sociedad -at whatever cost -which leads to her wanting to bring Olimpia, alongside Eugenia's son, to her side.

these are very quick character descriptions, and theres a lot more to them, but thats the gist of it. im sorry that they look all so similar, im still new to artbreeder and its hard to keep a style while also using different reference images to create distinct faces :^/
