Oh this was so much fun! I put a little bit about each of them under the cut.

Angry Defiant: Claire - She's bitter about what happened and vehemently refuses that she has anything to do with Lilith at first. Defiant in that she got mad at Belphegor and Beelzebub for insisting she looked like Lilith, and in the way she persevered through Purgatory for all those years alone. What didn't kill her traumatized her for sure, but it pushed her to keep going in an awful way as well. Life has been hard to adjust to outside of Purgatory. At least there it was easy to tell the monsters apart from everyone else.

Angry Compliant: Cypress - He's not happy he was forced to Fall from the Celestial Realm, but if he was going to be kicked out of the pearly gates, he figured the least he could do was take the initiative himself. Maybe he didn't have a choice in Falling, but he left on his own terms first. There were no guards, no weapons drawn in his direction- the only thing he faced was a long drop with a short stop at the end and an incredible amount of pain. Still, he complies in his own way, in his own time. There are rules, yes... but he can bend them if he likes.

Angry Stoic: Alfheim/Alfie - When Alfie goes missing, it comes as a shock. But even more shocking is the revelation that he willingly left to join both the Abyss Order and the Fatui on his own accord. His stoic face does not betray the anger and displeasure he feels every time he takes an order from them, but the feeling simmers inside him all the same. There is a reason why he's taken this path, but now that he's made his bed, he'll have to lie in it. Nothing good can come of this.

Fearful Defiant: Rowan - He tends to bite off more than he can chew. While he's got the book smarts and the love for the Celestial Realm, the Celestial Realm doesn't reciprocate the feeling. In fact, it's very much the opposite. However, Rowan won't realize this until he's in too deep- and no matter how much he tries to push back against his enemies, it seems to be no use. Who knows if he'll make it out of his last stand against them...

Fearful Compliant: Aska comes off as a brave and courageous soul. In the face of fear, however, that facade crumbles quite easily. Always one to be attached at the hip to her parents, this half-angel half-human is mostly reliant on others to come to her rescue when she needs it. But her brother Silas is not always available to bail her out and look after her, and her parents are not always aware of the situations she gets herself into. She'd better hope her quick wits can get her out of any trouble she runs into alone. Because if not... well. She never really stood a chance.

Broken Defiant: Muse - After the Mitachurl incident and the lingering injuries and trauma that came with it, Muse quit the Knights and started to isolate themselves away from the whole of Mondstat while their life fell to shambles. With the previous abuse they endured and their now missing brother, things were not looking good. Luckily they had Kaeya to drag them out of their stupor, but it's been an enormous uphill battle for the poor ex-knight ever since that day. It took quite a bit of caretaking on both Lisa and Diluc's part just to get them to feel safe outdoors again, and even then... Still, Muse fights it the best they can despite their ever present anxieties and fears. Maybe it's time for them to set out on another adventure? Hopefully this time they won't end up in Mondstat's hospital- or Liyue's, for that matter. Unfortunately, it seems fate has other plans.

Broken Stoic: Silas - He feels properly messed up from all that's happened to him, though you'd never tell just by the look on his face. He's lost almost everything for close to nothing; now he has to rebuild his entire life. He doesn't know how to cope with the fact that he almost died, is now indebted to Lucifer for a very long time, and lost his humanity in the process of it all. Inside, he's in absolute turmoil. But outside? Outside, he's calm and collected. Only time will tell if he can keep up with the mask he's hiding behind- but it's not a good sign when there were already cracks in it from the very start.

A little doodle of one of my first skyrim oc’s from like 2018, Aska. I recently revived her so I could write a story where she frees a bear from a trap to discover it was a Skäl werebear named Stöllyn

There's a soft kiss on her shoulder. That's the first thing she notices upon waking up.

"Mm... Aly?" she murmurs, turning over. Sure enough, it's her lover, a soft look on his face. She presses her lips to his, ignoring the gross taste of morning breath from the both of them. The dark bags under his eyes are never really gone, but they've lightened up in the past few years, ever since that whole debacle with the Collector was finally put to rest. She runs a finger over the newest scar he's acquired, a jagged slash across his chin from a bit of flying shrapnel.

As soon as they break apart he presses his face into her neck, inhaling deeply. "I don't want to go to work today," he gripes.

"Bullshit," Aska chuckles, booping his nose gently. "I know that you've been focused on that new biokinetic whatchamacallit thing for the Beast Tamers."

"Adaptive prosthetics," he explains patiently, for the ninth time in five days. Aska doesn't even pretend to understand, but she always enjoys listening to him talk about it. He gets this look in his eyes, a fire that's so full of light that it makes everyone around him want a piece of the action.

As he explains the prosthetics to her again- combining Abomination ooze with his existing mechanical parts to make a self-healing, self-adjusting artificial limb for injured or amputated beasts, able to correct for size differences between different animals- that spark comes back, putting more energy and life into him until he's gesturing broadly, swinging his hands around as he elaborates on the issues he's facing in making the matter both solid enough to keep its shape and liquid enough to adjust itself as necessary. Aska nods along at the right points, handing him his glasses- he's needed them in this last year, as his years of working under sub-optimal conditions have made his vision weaker.

"Okay," she says once he's taken a moment to breathe, "but if it's that interesting, why do you want to stay in bed?"

"Why do I what?" he repeats, and she giggles into her hand. He can be as scatterbrained as he is hyperfocused at times, which she loves.

The door creaks as Darius comes in, three cups of coffee balanced precariously in the container in his hands. "I come bearing libations!" he purrs, setting them down on the bedside table.

Aska grins. "Yes!" she growls happily, grabbing the cup with the 'AS' written on it. She's taken to the substance recently, more for the taste than the sensation of caffeine. Sure enough, it's loaded with cream and caramel drizzle, a delicacy that their recent treaty with Earth is providing. She can't help the little moan as she downs a good third of it, the sweetness helping to take the bitter edge off.

Aska tries to pull Darius into a kiss, but he cringes away, shaking his head even as he laughs. "Not until you brush your teeth!" He stumbles, just enough for Alador to capture his lips for a second. Darius coughs and wipes his mouth. "Ugh! Any other time, but not when you still have plaque and gunk in your mouth."

Alador pouts, pulling Aska into his arms. "Boyfriend... betrays us?"

Aska, catching on, whimpers, putting on her best puppy eyes. "Boyfriend reject us?"

Darius rolls his eyes. "Don't you start."

"BOYFRIEND INCAPABLE OF LOVE?!" Alador and Aska repeat together, before breaking down into giggles together.

Darius sighs. "Why did I even enter this relationship in the first place?" he wonders aloud to himself.

"Because of the amazing sex?" Aska suggests.

Darius laughs at that. "True, but no. I love you, dearly."

Alador grins. "And we love you." He stretches and takes his cup, taking a long sip. "Did you add-"

"The chocolate dust? Of course I did, I'm not a heathen." Darius gives him a swat on the butt, smirking at the yelp that escapes their boyfriend. "Now get to work, before Ederwolf comes hunting for my hide for distracting you again."

"Bossy," Alador grumbles, but it's light. He presses a kiss to Aska's cheek, and one to Darius' glove, which the other man accepts with nary a displeased sigh.

Aska doesn't realize she's crying until Alador's already left the room and out the door, but Darius takes her face in his hands gently. "Lover, what's wrong?"

Aska laughs wetly, pressing her hand against his. "I just- I didn't realize I could be this happy." It's true. For so long, her life revolved around a monster, a man who saw her as a distraction and nothing more. She spent so much time dedicated to someone who felt no guilt when he was leaving her to her death.

But it's been years now, years of being free of his influence. She has two stepdaughters and a stepson who, for all their awkwardness, seem to actually like her. She has two wonderful, amazing, loving boyfriends who choose her every day, who wake up next to her and kiss her with love as well as passion. She has a safe place to rest her head, a home she can call her own, a garden out back to grow whatever she pleases.

It feels so freeing, to be this alive. She never thought she would ever be this content.

And she wouldn't give it up for anything.
