YES!! Thank you for this ask, I was going to do it anyways in my rant book but it’s nice to feel like someone actually wants it lol. I did it a little differently in said book as you said to assign an oc and I basically did a list there. Also it’s kind of a series on there so.

Caroline Rivera! Who, funnily enough, Olivia Rodrigo is the faceclaim for. And even funnier (for lack of better word) is that she’s a Girl Meets World oc. The feeling that you’re never having as good a life as other teenagers? Like you’re missing out? Very her.

Nevaeh Verviene x Damon Salvatore! Although he did cheat so... like “I played dumb but I always knew”?? “Loved you at your worst but that didn’t matter?”?? Heartbreaking and accurate.

Othello Elliott x Edward Cullen!! This song reminds me of New Moon a lot. It’s probably the memes.

4. 1 step forward, 3 steps back

Sybil Bishop x Nick Burkhardt. Oof... very much. Hurting yourself to keep someone else? Getting your hopes up time and time again? It’s always one step forward, three steps back for them.

Thank god for repeat permissions! Lmao. Because this song is the Nevaeh/Damon/Elena triangle. Like painfully accurate, it’s almost like Olivia read my mind.

Hmm... Annabelle Russ x Zach Morris. This is very niche but she’s my Saved By The Bell oc. She and Kelly are friends, so I feel this song captures her feelings.

OOF! this song. Aphrodite Mikaelson! Aph is obsessed with being the most beautiful, the coolest, the most powerful. She’s mainly obsessed with besting Hope. And she knows rationally that she and Hope can co-exist and both be amazing but god is she angry.
