Introducing my baby Hue!

A clumsy yet well meaning assistant that works at Rocket n is relatively close with vic

Some small facts regarding them is underneath (warning for dismemberment; nothing graphic but buddy loses their limbs)

Their relationship with victim n the mercs are a bit more complicated than this but that’s gonna be its own separate post lol

One of the biggest appeals for vic and Hue’s relationship that I love writing about is seeing how vic would interact with someone who’s gone through the same thing he went through AND is somehow taking it way better than he is.

Tbf Hue doesn’t remember shit about what happened so that does help admittedly but Hue still suffered a great deal after the fact, which they remember clear as day. But they still don’t really think about it or are super affected by it in all honesty. Where vic is. Ya know.

It makes their dynamic very interesting for me to write.

Chat has spoken! Introducing my newest blorbo; Hue!

Hue’s an interesting lil fella who is in control of the color wheel, allowing them to alter and change their color and form in whatever way they please.

They can pose as someone we know or as an entirely different person, as well as blend into their environment. Their hands double as a color picker for when they need to make a quick change.

Hue was once a regular created stick. At least they think they were? Their memories of the past are nothing but a blur, all they remember was the pain of their code slowly breaking apart and their will to stay alive. They survived being deleted but they don’t seem to recall how or why. Who they were and what they looked like before was also lost and forgotten. And yet they’re surprisingly chipper despite the horrors they faced when they were young. They don’t think about their life before nor do they care for it, they don’t wish to know what happened.

Surviving deletion didn’t come without any severe effects however, their code has been permanently damaged and mangled beyond repair. Their body could not longer retain a proper form and was incredibly unstable, switching from one form to the next uncontrollably n becoming a glitchy mess. It was so bad that anything or anyone who touched them would become a temporarily glitchy mess.

Merging with the color wheel allowed them to retain a stable body of their choosing and kept their code somewhat stable. Hue can alter their color as well as their body type as a whole, and can go as far as to pose as an existing person. Due to not remembering who they were before, their form is constantly changing as they don’t know who they were or what they looked like in the past. They used to frequent grey but since being on the run, their form is constantly switching and is never the same to avoid getting caught.

How they came across and merged with the wheel is nothing short of a mystery. Those kinds of appliances aren’t accessible to sticks but regular means. If asked however, Hue will claim that it was a gift. But from who exactly?

The public are unaware of what their intentions are but they’re after the Chosen One, to prove themselves they’d say. But to who?

Rocket Corps is desperately seeking any clues on their whereabouts and urges citizens to be on the look out.

But how can you look out for someone who can be anyone at anytime?

WIP Wednesday that turned into a cute little photoset :3

I have a small coffee themed prop pack comin' soon and thought I'd showcase some of it for wip wednesday, but it ended up turning into a cute date between the boys & I just love these little fluff moments. I headcanon that Goro used to hate coffee before meeting Vaughn, and he slowly ended up liking it until it became a full blown obsession to where he enjoys it more than his favorite tea. He even gets up super early in the morning to make coffee for he & Vaughn to watch the sunrise :'') Coffee dates are entirely his idea ;p

So, made a mess drawing this, but there's a reason for it.

More explanation under the cut if you want to see it.

So I had this idea for Kira's parents. The family she's currently trying to get back to in the TWST universe.

These were them as teenagers. I haven't come up with names yet but we'll get there.

Her mom so far is a rebellious trouble maker with a terrible temper, but the cutest face. She hates it, and constantly gets injured in fights that were mostly instigated by our feral child.

Her dad, on the other hand, is very high class, very elegant, quite put together. He's not really allowed to act out and very sheltered in most aspects of his life.

My idea was the paper between her parents were already ripped, yet I glued it there so story plot and, yada yada, that stuff.

My half awake, thought process on this, was her family is very patchwork. Like it was shoved together despite being completely normal in means to an end. No one was adopted, there wasn't a scandal (so far), and yet, being a teenager, it feels out of place.

I think most people go through that "where do I fit in" issue, and I kinda wanted to embrace that idea with this. It probably wasn't well conveyed as others probably could have done it. However for paper, glue, and sticky notes, I like it.
