How doth thou art so good?

Do nothing but draw your ocs for 10+ years, being a cringy child but being free, start a webcomic you're not prepared for that forces you to draw things you wouldn't normally on a regular basis, occasionally stopping to get into fan content that does the same, and have no other hobbies so your default day is comprised of 10 hours of drawing your ocs looking like the most pathetic wet cats imaginable and then post it online for 7 notes

Found an old design I made of star boy back when everyone was rewriting the movie Wish lol

Went with both their true form, as well as a human form to blend in on earth. Anyway I like this guy so theyre mine now :)👍

#thought it’d be fun to use blues for the star colors rather than yellow #both to enhance the cosmic feel but to also create a contrast w the human appearance which is much warmer #blue stars are hotter than yellow stars right? so it feels fitting #I feel like this ver of star could very easily develop a wish on their own to be a fully actualized person on earth #rather than being a cosmic entity who can only passively interact w the wish makers #if we go w the idea that each person has an assigned wishing star then this could maybe be Aisha’s star #and she’s never made a wish til now and star boy has been growing restless #I thought it’d be cool if one of the villains was a star coming to earth as well. and the wish granting is to maintain their place on earth #then we could have parallels between our heroes and villains. the human wishing to keep their star w them #idk man. While I intend to perhaps do a proper drawing when the feast of masks truly arrives, with Hallowmas approaching I saw it fit to design some masks and outfits for my own Londoners. The Percipient Scientist and The Boisterous Author have a somewhat similar theme - Owl and Bird respectively

mom avoids dead anime mom curse because he transitions. he’s always had a complicated relationship with pregnancy because of how woefully little people are told about potential complications and aftercare, and also because of how gendered it is, so after the birth of his second child he’s finally had it and decides to transition

he joins a local community group for mothers and at first it’s played for laughs how often they fall to the dead mom curse, but soon we find out more about how society has failed mothers and people who give birth, from information being withheld, procedures being carried out without consent, lack of accommodations and maternal and paternal leave, racism…

it also turns out that becoming a man doesn’t help with this, not really, because being a pregnant trans man brings its own problems. follow along as he learns more about being a parent and a mother, and maybe even… finding love???
