Very strict. There are always rules to follow with him. Never step out of line.

Overprotective, Frost will always put Genesis before you. sorry not sorry beloved he acts more like a parent than a partner.

If you dislike structure I hate it for you anon. Blame his time in the military. He's a massive neat freak.

Frost is either indifferent or too aggressive. There is never an in between. RIP if you want him more open or to fully relax. He can’t.

Distrustful, he will ghost you (like fall of the face of the earth ghost you) if he thinks things aren't going well in the relationship.

Mac

Arrogant, self centered, privileged rich boy and no he's not sorry. In fact, he's sorry that others are poor.

His years as a frat boy rears it ugly head at the worst of times, so be aware of that. Silly yet harmful pranks, randomly leaving for parties abroad and not telling you he's gone, etc.

His well hidden bad temper. Mac yells, breaks things, hurts people... and it takes him a few hours to calm down.

On the flip side, he's the kindest, sweetest, best boy! Mac will say and do anything to make others happy. Very manipulative and he gets away with it due to his natural charm.

Smokes (cigs and other stuff..) workaholic, phone addict, and he tends to forget to translate back to English when talking to you.

Neo

Oh boy. Arrogant, cruel, a bit of a misogynist, and severely unfaithful.

You get what you signed up for with Neo, he's a fboy through and through. Trust issues, disloyal, typical liar (slow down Chaos..) gaslighting King. Bonus points! He knows it. 😏

Always busy, never around, very possessive, toxic by default. He always tell you that he will change he never does.

Silent deadly temper. You won't know he's angry until you hear about a fatal shooting somewhere and he comes home with blood stains.. and an eerily satisfied smile.

Neo will hold a grudge for years so don't cross him.

Ario

Gifted charmer, everything he does it to persuade his intended target so he's a natural flirt. He'll do it right in front of you too. 👀

Noble just like his namesake. Perhaps a bit too noble since he comes off as annoying and overwhelming.

Very clingy, doesn't understand the concept of personal space. He's curious about humans while remaining inferior to them. He is an angel anon 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ario is a huge gossiper and he's quite vain due to his popularity. He will be the center of attention anywhere he goes.

Ario is very aggressive despite his soft appearance. Do not anger him or you'll find out why he's not a guardian angel but rather a fierce solider.

So far, this character is an extremely tall (over 6'6") Octoling tgirl with purple ink, and tentacles with cyan tips and red spots.

I imagine we're nearing the end. Time to really hammer things down and get specific. I've been looking forward to this one!

Of course, I couldn't fit every possible type here, so if needed there will be a second body type poll further clarifying things.

I'm excited at how far along things have gotten. Soon we can move on to subculture/style, facial stuff, and personality stuff!

- Do they wear their clothing or accessories the "Correct" way? (as they're intended to be worn) Do they have difficulty dressing themself? Where have they gotten their accessories and clothes? Could they get new ones, and how? Do the clothes or accessories fit them? Literally or physically? (Contradicts their personality and fashion sense / clothes too big or too small, not scaled for their body?)

- Can you tell their age by appearance? Have they aged as they should've, or are there reasons why they'd look older or younger? Do they look to be in good health or are they just young? Could you tell if their looks are based on their age vs their health? Why or why not? What's their personal hygiene routine? What affects it?

- Eye shapes? Nose shapes? Jawline? Cheekbones? Forehead size and shape? Teeth? Lips? Hands? Facial hair? Arm hair? Body hair? Baby hairs?

My favorite method of character building is playlists.

get a bunch of songs that remind you of the character, put them in a list, and then let those songs build your character!

I kid you not, I have a TFP OC that's story was literally built off of bohemian rhapsody.

like yes, I came up with the concept, the story isn't exactly like the song, but the song could be used to explain the story/parts of the story really well! it's fun!

i skim through the lyrics, and try to explain why each verse connects to the story/character and its so fun brainstorming stuff.
