This painting represents Ireena’s strange dreams and faded memories of her and Strahd. One of the options is for Ireena to be a painter so that’s what im going with in my game.

I made this to show my players next time they see her >:3 shh don’t tell them hehehe I also loved doing the other one so much i might have to do more based off of old paintings :3c

Someone asked for more... SO much fun! I was actually “squeeing” every 2 minutes as I was making this, I could not wait to get it up here. Obviously based off Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss. Featured with and without the beard for all you beard lovers, but It’s more clean trimmed since I placed this in an unofficial world where he goes home to be Emperor. Personally I like him clean shaven, but to each their own. <3

centuries - which century would you most like to live in?: i like the current one i’m growing up in rn honestly, most up to date and as advanced as we can be for now, sorry if that’s a lame answer

the kids aren’t alright - if you could send a message to yourself five years ago, what would it say?: you’re loved, and soon you’re going to find the one you’ll love forever. it’s okay to not know. be kind and patient. never let anyone make you feel bad about yourself. change isn’t always bad. you’ll figure out more of who you’re supposed to be as you go along. in time you’ll become the person you’ve always wanted to be, but you have to treat yourself nicer

hold me tight or don’t - how do you think their next album will sound?: probably a continuation of their newer sound, but based off some of the new style in mania i think there’s plenty of room for experimentation and improvement. i’d be shocked if they went back to an older style, don’t think that’s happening. i think whatever they make it’ll be progressing off their past, but i just wanna be able to listen to it and truly be able to enjoy it.

Happy International Cat Day

It’s International Cat Day! Prepare yourselves for a doctorate-level analysis of the significance of cats in various paintings throughout the ages. Just kidding, these are just some of the most awesome cats artists kept as pets. 

  Today on The Catchelor, I’ll be judging 13 artist’s cats based on name, cuteness, companionship, and the X factor. The top 3 cats will receive a rose, while the remaining kitties will have to pack their bags and return home. Let's meet the contestants.

  Babou, Salvador Dali’s ocelot

  Frida Kahlo’s...monkey…? Oh wait, there’s the cat…

  Edward Gorey and all of the cats. All of them.

  Georgia O’Keeffe’s Siamese kitty

  Of course, we couldn’t leave out Gustav Klimt’s kitty, Katze.

  Paul Klee’s Bimbo. Not the woman, the cat. Obviously.

  Ai Weiwei’s cat Lai Lai, who is one of 40. He sure gives Gorey a run for his money.

  Romare Bearden’s buddy Gippo.

  Picasso and Minou, another Siamese cat. A popular breed among artists for some reason.

  Herbert Tobias’s kitty, workin’ it as high-fashion headgear

    Lastly, Henri Matisse’s two cats, Minouche and Coussi.

  Now that we’ve met all the contestants, it’s time to immediately eliminate 10 of them! Our first rose goes to Katze! Not only does he have an awesome name for a cat, but he stood by his master’s side while he painted masterpieces like The Kiss. Plus their photo together is super cute.

    The next rose is for Georgia O’Keeffe’s unnamed siamese cat! We don’t know his name, but I like a little mystery in my kitties. I’m sure he gave her some tips as he watched her paint Cow’s Skull and Jimson Weed. 

  Last but not least, our final rose goes to Babou!  Babou is a mini leopard after all. Not only did they take tons of selfies together, but Babou would even chill with Dali and his friends when he threw parties at his house. He was also the inspiration behind Cheryl’s pet ocelot in the animated show "Archer."

In this piece, the texts show what Mona Lisa thinks about in this piece, though we never know what goes on in her mind. However, the texts seen are relatable.

The art piece just shows a random couple, looking obviously stressed and they just want to end their suffering, with 8 children doing their business. This also suggests to tag yourself from one of those people in the art piece.

EXPLANATION:

What is unoriginality?

As defined by the all famous Merriam Webster, unoriginality means “lacking in originality; something that is not original”.

Then, what is originality? 

As defined, again, by the all famous Merriam Webster, originality means “the quality or state of being original; freshness of aspect, design, or style; the power of independent thought or constructive imagination”.

Majority of us, intentionally or unintentionally, expects to see something new whenever we look at a paintings, read a newly published book, watching an interesting movie, participate in performances and many more. However these works are often weighed down by the expectations of others in making one’s work acceptable to the eyes of the society. A lingering fear of being judged and ridiculed is evident, whenever we decided to use a familiar art style used by famous artists such Van Gogh and his swirls.

So for our final art production, it is a museum filled with questionable art pieces; hence, the title name “The Museum of Shitposts”. These art pieces are based on famous paintings made by painters that are historically known up until now. Each person used a different method in making their art pieces. This can range through photo editing, typography, drawing and many more.

As we were making these, we soon became conscious as to what our classmates might react once they see our output. Per art piece made, in general, it took less than hour to make in the process.
