I love the idea of big nerd Bucky who drags Steve with him to the local conventions.

Maybe he sees something that one of his online gaming friend would love cause he has been gushing about this limited edition Lego set that's been sold out everywhere.

He wants to buy.

But it's marked was *Reserved/pending sale*

Bucky tries to haggle. No go.

But the vendor tells him who is trying to buy it and maybe if he can get the guy to convince him to let him get it instead.

So now Bucky is on the hunt for one Peter Parker at the show.

He has GOT to get this for his friend Spiderman0810....

do you guys ever think about how everyone knows it's buck and bucky, everyone knows they belong to each other, the best of friends.

and john knows he belongs to gale, and he knows that to an extent that he has gale, but he also knows that gale will never fully belong to him in the same sense.

for john, it's only gale. gale is all john sees when he looks to the future, tunnel vision for this golden beautiful boy, willing to give up every single piece of himself for him, like he's made for him– all gale would have to do is ask.

but he knows gale will never ask because he doesn't have a reason to. gale loves john but not in the same way john loves gale and john can make peace with that because he'd rather have a little bit of gale than nothing at all. the alcohol and warm bodies of strangers numb it all.

He doesn't understand why giggles the team gives when he offers one side of the set to Bucky. But Bucky just takes the necklace and puts it on.

MARVEL Headcannon #3:

Steve Rogers is jealous of Carol Danvers for one reason and one reason only.

She and Bucky get along TOO well. They both have similar stories involving abduction, amnesia, brainwashing, and fighting for the wrong side. So when those two met and hit it off well, he definitely got jealous, especially since it took a while for Bucky to open up to him, and he opened up pretty quickly to Carol after briefly swapping stories, and then going in depth.

Anyway, jealousy aside, Steve and Carol definitely have a friendly but petty Army vs. Air Force Captain rivalry that everyone finds funny.

i really think stucky fandom is the only one i've been in where making another relationship pretty much just as significant as theirs in fanfiction is the norm and obvs it used to not bother me but now it makes me crazy

like. i'm used to another pairing being together but then they break up and the main one gets together and you're like okay cool but stucky writers just muddy the waters and i'm like you know you can ignore them being with other people right this is fanfic you can do whatever you want you don't have to prop up this relationship to prove you're not misogynistic or whatever you can still write stucky exactly as they are without all this extra nonsense

Maggie didn’t understand what the fuck was happening. In their decade long friendship, she had never seen Natasha anxious — but the bride to be was down right frazzled. 

“What do we do?” Maria asked Maggie in a panic as Natasha’s body went stiff, making it impossible for them to pull up her dress. 

“I don’t know!” Maggie shook her head, at a loss for what they were supposed to do. “I honestly didn’t think Natasha had the capability to feel anxiety.” She blurted out. “She’s always so calm and collected all the time! I’m usually the friend in our group who is a neurotic, anxiety ridden, stress-case!” 

“Stop being mean to yourself!” Natasha hissed out at Maggie. “You’re always so mean to yourself!” 

Maggie frowned. “Nat, what can I do to help? Do you need me to go get James?”

“No!” Natasha shook her head with wide eyes. 

“Do you need me to gas up the car?” Maria offered, causing Maggie to glare at her suggestion. “What? She’s clearly having second thoughts!” 

Maggie looked at Natasha, waiting for her to deny what Maria just said. But she didn’t. “I need a drink,” Natasha said instead. “I need one of you to get me a drink.” 

She couldn’t help but feel both dread and sadly, excitement over Natasha not denying that she was having second thoughts about marrying Bucky — which left her feeling like a total asshole. Bucky deserved to be happy, as did Natasha. He had proposed to Nat and she had said yes for a reason. They were in love and Maggie didn’t want either of them to feel any kind of heartbreak. 

So she pushed down her selfish emotions and nodded at Natasha before saying, “I’m on it.”
