Definitely KakaObi, it has more canon content and weight so I'm kinda obsessed with them, but I like ObiKabu as well, it's a fun ship and they do have some similarities (stated in canon too)

Also kakaobi has way more angst and lowkey soulmate/shared eye thing so it has me on a chokehold lol

You don’t understand how much I love the two of them. They’re so different but so similar. Their lives are different but they still have so much in common.

Obito: child soldier who got crushed by a rock, was then taken in (kidnapped) by UCHIHA FUCKING MADARA who completely brainwashed him, then he watched the girl he loved get killed by his former teammate (which solidified what madara told him (which boils down to: Shinobi ain’t shit and the entire system is done for)), killed his teacher, helped slaughter his entire clan, ruled the Akatsuki from the shadows, started the fourth great ninja war, tried to kill his former teammate in one of the best fights in the Naruto franchise, switched teams, and helped fight Kaguya. Then died.

Kabuto: got taken in as an orphan by a kind nun lady (former root agent), volunteered to work for danzo for Reasons™️, killed the only person who loved him on kind-of accident, started working for Orochimaru (oh no), got brainwashed by Orochimaru, helped Orochimaru violate like every single basic human right there is, be left alone after Orochimaru dies and morphing into some kind of snake sage for Reasons™️, help Obito during the war, and eventually become a nun working with his foster brother or something, raising a bunch of tiny clone children.

Also, the two of them are hilarious!!

This ain’t their funniest panel but the gist of their relationship is Kabuto being a snarky instigator and Obito being a lunatic. I love them for it. Most of their conversations look just like this (real) ⬇️

With much reluctance and knowing the judging looks he will get, he seems to lower his head as his confident demeanor disappears and he's now looking quite guilty. But he is sweating profusely now.

"... I'll marry Kakashi. He seems to be the most emotionally... "stable" out of the two and one who I can see myself having the perfect married normal life with him and we both have so much in common with each other despite our loyalties to our villages and our vast different moral codes. I also have a bit of a crush on them and I hope that they... like me back. Not to mention how fucking hot they are and their cute little fangs and smile they have.

First impression: my first impression of him was "i'm going to shove this nerd in a fucking locker"

Impression now: kabuto is my everything

Favorite moment: oogh this is hard. when i look back at the series i think ultimately it's gotta be this

Idea for a story: i mentioned it before in another ask i got on a different ask game but i really do like thinking about post-canon stuff involving kabuto that doesn't fridge him at the orphanage like he is in boruto

Unpopular opinion: liking him?? lol.

Favorite relationship: it'd be cheating if i said the ship with my oc sayato lol. sooooo kabuto/yamato. it's underrated but also kinda fucked up so i can understand why someone wouldn't like it. or wouldn't want to put yamato through kabuto's bullshit LMFAOOOOOOOO. but i like most other m/m kabuto ships minus like, creepy bullshit like orokabu. itakabu obikabu kakakabu are all ones i really enjoy lol.
