I know that the Coen Brothers were not actually basing very much in O Brother Where Art Thou on the actual text prose of The Odyssey, but I do like "man of constant sorrow" as yet another option in the ongoing "how do you translate polytropos?" conversation.

Season 11 is so crazy to watch when you realize Amara was right for hating Chuck. When she says, “You don’t know what he’s like” she’s being so genuine because Chuck is canonically the worst.

O Brother:

It's a coen brothers! It's an adaptation of The Odyssey! It's...a musical? People don't really think of it as one, but it definitely is, and even people who don't like bluegrass agree the soundtrack slaps. And a quotable classic.

Beauty and the Beast:

Who didn't sit staring like a stunned mackrel as "Be Our Guest" reached it's climactic crescendo? A perfect pairing of story, music, voices, and art.
