A little offering jar for the Allfather. It's going to work with me to feature as a little idol/offering vessel on my desk.

Y'all, Thor is so great. If you need just a solid buddy, he's your guy. We just shot the shit for a while tonight, and it was just lovely. He really gives a shit about us, about humanity. (I mean, protecting us is kinda his Thing™️, after all.) Having spent a little more time with him, I see why he and Loki share so many stories with one another. Neither of them is dumb or weak, but their respective strength and cunning pair really nicely when you wanna get up to some shit. Even if your partner in crime has a slightly different agenda than your own. Add Odin into the mix and you've truly got a sitcom on your hands. Earlier this week I was talking with Thor and Loki together, and Odin just showed up like, "Who the fuck was gonna tell me y'all were hanging out?" What a kooky fucking bunch. I love these dorks. 10/10, would hang out again. ❤️

Maybe this is morbid and emo, but maybe one of the reasons I feel more connected to Oðinn lately, like I'm understanding him better, is that I'm just so.... Actually Autistically and Hermit-ly unsure of how to even relate to people anymore.
And that's really lonely and kind of fucking suck honestly.

The norse brainrot is REAL
First i relistened to every single episode of this norse mythology podcast(great podcast btw go support the creator by listening here> https://open.spotify.com/show/7F0tD7bStFIDSVEbsnrxuI?si=d_xz31ygSpK9az7erNuPAA )
Secondly: i find myself creating a full kit of time accurate norse weaponry and kit for funsies(definitely not because of the medieval fair my town holds yearly)
And thirdly: i love the norse so dearly oðinn save me

Um, Odin, Wise Old God, Allfather, Great Wanderer, Mad God of Creative Ecstasy, excuse me, sorry, pardon, hi, hello, what the fuck is happening and how do I make it Continue
So I started getting into a near daily prayer routine. As Odin is central to my practice, he gets some focus and praise every time I pray. Then suddenly, I have things falling strangely into place.
Saturday, I get an email. "Hey, we wanna phone screen you for a job you applied for." Cool, cool, we can do that Monday 1pm opening you have.
Monday, 1pm. The recruiter and I jive very well. She's telling me about the job like it's already my first day. She's impressed with me and wants to move me forward. "Shoot, I'm down two managers this week, so a time might be hairy and... hang on.... oh someone literally just canceled. Can you do Wednesday at 9am?" Fuck yeah I can do Wednesday at 9am!
Cut to Wednesday. I get there, recruiter just so happens to be walking up to check for me just as I walk up to the door. I'm brought in, shadow somebody for 20 minutes (he was really cool, from Los Angeles just like I am), and then go into the interview.
And I don't know what happened. I've never been that self-assured and confident and articulate in an interview. Especially when I'm asked what sets me apart. But I knew exactly how to carry myself, exactly what to say, exactly how to sell myself. And they had more interviews to conduct, but the managers who interviewed me were definitely impressed.
Then I get an email from the recruiter. "Hey, it looks like you didn't fill out an app for this position. Let's have you do that." Turns out they likely pulled my info from a months- or years-old application.
It's freaky and it's a huge confidence booster and what the fuck
Also the opportunity is at a COLLEGE

So after a long, fun day with Loki yesterday, this morning, my wife points this out to me:
Tumblr media
We see buzzards around our area all the time, but never have we seen them congregate like this on this property. While I could see death-related birds being a sign from Hel, my immediate thought was, "Oh, Odin wants attention now." So uh, I guess today is the day I work on typing up those rune meditation posts and maybe do even more meditating? 😅

I just imagine this is Odin and Loki riding Sleipnir across the Bifrost into Midgard to kick off every and all Pride parties and celebrations this month.
Description: [A video of a woman riding a galloping horse bareback while holding a large rainbow flag.]

I'm making prayer beads in honor if Óðinn. The colors are more meaningful than the materials. I associate blue, black, grey, and white with Him. I decided I was going to make it in this sort of chained style, like an expensive rosary. It will have four strands, maybe five, that look just like this. Four of them will be spaced out by short stretches of chain, four for the four domains/aspects of Óðinn I most closely associate with and commune with Him about— Mad Wisdom, Creative Ecstasy, Wandering, and Allfather. Plus possibly a fifth one to balance a pendant. Each of the four core strands will be spaced away from each other by oak beads as well, because oak is more plentiful in my area than ash and oak plays into my localizing mythcraft.
I'm considering either a Gungnir pendant, a blue jay (again, has to do with mythcraft and localizing), or a Viking compass rune wheel for that last dangling strand.
