Let the Floodgates Open is such a comforting song to me, and I can’t explain why-

Also it gives me the vibes of like… a forest after it rains, and rainy days?? Maybe it’s the mention of rain in the song or the rain in the background, but those are the vibes it gives me. Just feels like something you’d listen to while it rains outside.

Like it’s all good music and I’m hyped but like this shit is real. And more into the new song, Socioenvy is like super technical music wise and I love it but also heavy af and like ashshskdjjska

For the love of everything holy, just let the music stand as it is. Theorising is fun, I get it. But there comes a point where the line is crossed, and y'all start speculating about the personal life of a man that we really know nothing about. That's just the fact of the matter. No matter how close we think we are, no matter how much we meme on him, we know absolutely nothing about him.

So when he does something that takes a alotta fuckin courage, baring his soul and attempting to put complicated concepts into words, y'all crawl all over it and tear it apart.

I swear some of y'all must think you live inside his head, with how in-depth you're deconstructing all if this.

In retrospect, I don't blame him for taking a major step back when it comes to interacting with the fan base, cause some parts are a hella yikes.

Let me be clear, I'm not saying you aren't allowed to theorise and draw your own conclusions. I've went over in my head what this album means to me. But sometimes those conclusions need to be kept to your goddamned self, because there comes a point where y'all forget that this whole shindig is parasocial.

To us, he's just some guy on the internet.

To him, we're just names on a screen.

That's all it'll ever be, it'll never be more than that. Get that through your heads.
