I think what’s giving me ALL the feels about this program lately😍- is that it’s forcing me to learn to trust the Process. It’s taking me back to square one. And teaching me to get OVER my dang self with “fearing food” Can we just talk about that for a sec????😳😮🤚🏽 _____________________ Food is FUEL. It’s not the enemy. But there were SO many days (and sometimes still are-) where I avoid it at all costs. I used to be so afraid to eat the wrong foods because they might make me fat.🙈 There were points when I didn’t even know what the heck TO eat! So I’d eat ALL the shit and give up😂 But food is meant to be enjoyed and give us ENERGY. it’s not a tool to abuse or belittle ourselves.☝🏽 Ya see over the past 70 days I’ve been eating MORE than ever. And I’m not really looking to lose weight right now- but to seriously TRANSFORM my relationship with food and be THE healthiest, most confident version of me.... and I think that’s what’s happening.☺️ Being able to say no to food- because I truly don’t want it. A little over three years ago I held this sweet child in my arms; disbelieving that she was actually mine. So little and precious. So trusting yet fragile. Seeing her button nose, tinny toes, & big brown eyes triggered something inside me that I suppose most mothers experience. It triggered an the most intense drive to not only look after her emotional & spiritual needs but to dive deep into the physical needs of a growing child. 💕 I could no longer push aside the gnawing questions I had for years. And so began my research; one slow step at a time.
