So the devs for the Arcana actually posted the recipe for Selasi the Baker's pumpkin bread on their YouTube channel four years ago?!?
youtube
@helshollowhalls sent me the link because they know I like to make my own bread on my days off. Read below the cut for pictures of my attempt and my in depth review!
First off, this is an involved recipe. You can expect it to take 4 hours start to finish (for context, my normal weekly baking for 2 loaves of whole wheat bread takes about 2 hours). There's the dough itself, the pumpkin filling, and a glaze to go on top.
Here's what it looked like right out of the oven, before the cinnamon glaze:
Here's what it looked like with the glaze on (please ignore the mess):
And here's the loaf cut open:
The original recipe says that the result should be a mildly sweet, mildly spiced bread. I'm sure that it normally is. However, it seems Asra and I share certain experimental tendencies when it comes to making food, because I ended up more than doubling the spices in the pumpkin filling.
The result I got was honestly one of the best sweet breads I've ever eaten. There's cinnamon in the dough, the glaze, and the filling, so the whole thing tastes really warm and comforting and homey. Don't let it fool you though, because (at least the way I ended up making it) the spices liven it up. It has cloves, all spice, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg besides the expected sugar, salt, and vanilla. It didn't call for cardamon but I added a respectable chunk of that anyways because it was sitting in my spice rack with all the others and I didn't want it to feel ignored. (And also because it was referenced as being in the rice pudding in Asra's route.) I also like making pumpkin soup through the winter, so my filling came out a little more watery than it normally would because I like to steam and freeze my own pumpkin puree.
The result I got was rich, sweet, soft, and flavorful enough that I was still tasting it after I brushed my teeth. The smell also lingered in my kitchen for days. The dough is enriched, meaning that it has eggs and milk and butter in it, which makes it somewhat like a cinnamon brioche. It would be like if a cinnamon roll and a pumpkin pie had a kickass loaf baby. The cinnamon glaze on top definitely added sweetness, but what I appreciated about it was how sticky and gooey the texture became because of it. Be prepared for delightfully messy eating.
If you're thinking, brainrot, the only reason you like this so much is because it makes you feel like you're sitting across from your beloved in the marketplace on a sunny Vesuvian afternoon, I'd say you're not wrong. It's a whole experience. However, after I had my first slice, I took it over to my family's place to share and fell asleep right after. By the time I woke up the whole thing was gone. My mom and younger sibling on their own admitted to eating at least two thirds of it before my dad could get to it. The other younger sibling got all of one (1) slice, poor dude.
100000000/10 will absolutely be scheduling four hours into my next day off to make it again.
(Side note - if you're looking for a trans malewife who cooks/bakes for fun and cleans up after himself and will spend four hours making something just because it's referenced in a romance game, I am right here. I desire cuddles.)

June 2024 Check In
Hello everyone! Happy update day!
First off, Alpha news!
We are closing applications Monday 06/17 at midnight EST! We will be taking the time then to sort through applications and hand out acceptance emails.
Currently we are working on player markets and forums. We’ll describe more on those in the Development section of this update! But here is what we have left before the full loop is complete:
Site Markets (very similar to player markets.)
Cooking / Crafting
Farming
Item Seeding (inputting item gains with the how and where)
And then that's it for a full loop! We are very close to finished! No date yet, as we're hesitant to overpromise in case anything goes wrong, but we’re on track to wrap up with a start date by the end of this month.
There have been a lot of bumps and unexpected new challenges during our development. Particularly, different team members being infected by Covid at different times. But we’re all very excited for how close things are going! We’ve come a long way, and the game sports many things we can say that we're proud of!
FAQ Update
We posted a small sub-update in the form of an updated FAQ! Kickstarter does not let us edit the FAQ tab on this page, but backers may read our new and improved FAQ:
Here!
Update on Moontails:
So far, Moontails are completely done save for a single gene illustration and glow colors.
Moontails were a heavier task because we dedicated ourselves to five different wing colors per palette. This meant that we had to hand pick over 1100 more hex codes! However, those are done!
Here are some examples of palettes we made with this five-color system:
Nutmeg, Ocean, Oak, Chameleon, Wolfsbane, Arctic, Vanilla
We call these palettes the "appendage palette." This means that, in the future, these colors will sometimes accentuate custom mystic traits. For example: a fish tail, horns, or wings!
We don't know when these will be completed, but we’re starting file formatting now! To be clear, Longhairs started file formatting about two weeks before they went on the site.
And when Moontails go up, any errors of the other breeds should be fixed. We’ve been slowly updating the queue, including writing a script for catching and fixing white coverage problems, and our next push should have everything covered!
Asset Updates
Users have noticed little tweaks to the mystic breeds. This is true! We've slightly updated the Bovines and Fyrets before allowing them to enter the queue.
Bovines
Fyrets
+ previews on experimental eye coloring!
These breeds have entered the queue!
New Backdrops!
New backdrops!
The Metropolis Outskirts
Illustration by Giulia (@giuliabiazus on Instagram)
(That's Cogwheel in the back!)
Cogwheel Outskirts
Cogwheel and Metropolis, being right next to each other and cross-sharing the majority of their populations, have largely similar architectural, color, and cultural aesthetics. We're excited to explore the differences as we render out more inner-location backdrops. 👁️⚙️
And with that, that's all our Outskirts backdrops! We’ll be working on a few more individual backdrops, then move onto the inner locations!
Incense
We’ve completed icons for all seven of our incense items!
As a reminder, incense is the method of obtaining an instant generation 1 cat. There is a separate incense item for every Borough.
Incense items will be rare craft-ables, made with different plant items! I'm particularly tickled by just how much personality having scents associated with each Borough adds.
Accessory Recolors
We are beginning to make a dent in accessory recolors!
All accessories will have 12 standard recolors. Here is the official list:
White, grey, black, red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, purple, pink, and brown
Below are finished recolors for the Jute set and the Sweetheart set!
Flea Market
We have updates on the Flea Market: the player-ran marketplace!
Our MVP will start with two listing types! Flat Sales and Bundles!
Flat Sales will allow users to sell stacks of items at a price per item, while buyers can choose how many to buy at a time.
Bundles are a set amount of several different items for a single price, which users can only purchase all at once.
Listings will have user comments, which can help provide extra context, especially for cat listings!
We're especially excited to show off our Price History feature!
Price history will show up whenever you list a single item. This history will give you the lowest price listed for the item, the highest, and a median of the two! But, we know this data can be messed with. And inflation effects these numbers on a holistic scale. So, price history can be searched in a timeframe of your choosing. You can choose to look at the history for just last week, or for the entirety of the site!
Note: These are mockups! Sizes may differ on your screen when browsing the game.
Forums and Forum Boards
Next, we want to show off our forum designs!
Users will have access to a host of official boards which will cover the majority of game-relevant topics.
Users will be able to create boards which may foster more unique topics. For example, perhaps you want a board dedicated to fancats! Or a board dedicated to collecting odd cat IDs. A board dedicated to a hyper-specific cat breeding program? You can make it!
Lastly, we've implemented a reply and "upvote" system as a way for threads to feel more like engaging conversations!
We want to stress that downvotes will never be visible, as we're hyper-aware that visibility can lead to bullying and dogpiling. We may choose to remove them all together, depending on player opinion and feedback during testing. Right now, our intention is to make forums more entertaining to read through by allowing players to uplift discussion, art, or community contributions that they deem worth recognition. You may also choose to filter by most recent or oldest comment instead.
We'll potentially be experimenting with emoji interactions and general size formatting to make things feel more cohesive.
We want to stress that this is incredibly experimental. We don't expect it to immediately appeal to all players. And what we're doing here may change as we test and recieve feedback.
Forums as they have been historically done in our genre have been on the decline in usage for some time, and this is in part due to modern UI setups having more sleek and easier to navigate methods of interaction and discussion. We're not blind to these statistics, and we're trying to combat the issue at the source. We understand that there are pros and cons to a system like this and that it's very new.
However, we're setting out to push the envelope and create something invigorating for our genre of game. This first and foremost means a refreshment of old systems. We feel it's worth a shot!
We've heard discussion on the plans to close our Discord, and how little traditional forum formats tend to keep player engagement in comparison to modern socials. We stand by that we will not rely on a third party to officially host our community, but we hope that we can provide more tools from the start to foster and nurture the community in our game.
Please note that while this does look modernized, we will never be incorporating ads into these threads, nor scrape data. The often predatory practices of modern social medias are practices we are actively avoiding. We're just trying something different that seems to work this day and age!
Also note that this does not replace traditional posting. We are working on a notebook system which would allow players to post longform, customized "notes," and for other players to comment on said notes in a more traditional format. We believe a system like this will better accommodate things such as status updates, user lore hubs, and anything which a user wants to store on their page for a long time. Think traditional web journal systems!
To summarize: We shared our expectations for Alpha in the coming days, Moontail progress, Bovine and Fyret adjustments, new backdrops, incense icons, and UIs for the market and forums!
What to expect next month: Functionality updates, further UI and asset renderings, general meaty beginnings to letting players on the site!

She wasn’t sure what had happened.
When she had last left Treasure Town, it had been the bustling rural utopia that had been her home for her entire Pokemon life. She still heard the discussions and the noises from the marketplace, even as she was looking at the empty ghost town that it had become.
She had been forced to be turned back into the human girl she used to be, and it had been a difficult time to remember how to manuver like a human again. She had spent years upon years as a Pokemon, and she had never wanted to be a human again.
Though she was now a human, her friends had stayed by her in all of this. Flame had talked to her as if she were still an Umbreon, Ace had played a few illusion tricks on her to make her feel better, and Chip just hugged her and let her cry on his shoulder as she was missing being a Pokemon. It was so much easier as a Pokemon.
She had run away from Dusknoir, scared to think what might happen if he didn’t recognize her. Her mind raced whenever she tried to think about it, immediately going to worst-case scenarios. He might attack her - he’d be even more locked down with guilt if he had known that he attacked her - or he might run away - she wasn’t sure what she would do if she saw Dusknoir running from her. Her friends made excuses for her, and Dusknoir had not gone looking for her, trusting in that she would return.
She hated to break his trust.
But while she had been trying to relearn being a human, something had happened to Treasure Town. The town was in shambles and eerily quiet. There wasn’t a single Pokemon that wasn’t one of her friends in sight. She thought she had caught flashes of fire, but it had turned out to be Flame’s tail. She didn’t want to go down to the town, worried that it might be real and completely empty, but Chip, Ace and Flame had all gone down to check the rubble.
One by one, they all came back up to her with heartbroken expressions as they reported that the town was truly and absolutely empty. There were no bodies, so everyone must’ve survived whatever happened.
As she looked down on the empty ruins of Treasure Town, she wished there was something she could do. Somehow she could know what happened; somehow she could comfort those who she had grown close to.
“NUTMEG! WHERE ARE YOU???”
She jumped and turned around, seeing a familiar human face looking for her. She didn’t recognize the human, but it’s obvious he recognized her. His face lit up and he called out, “Nutmeg! There you are! Come on, we have to go home!”
She managed to not look back at Treasure Town.
“But my home is gone,” she wanted to say. But she didn’t have the words to, and the human couldn’t understand Pokemon anyway, so really it wouldn’t have made a difference. She whispered to Flame, Ace and Chip that she was sorry, and reluctantly followed the human to a human village not too far.
“Welcome back home, Nutmeg!” the crowd yelled. She wanted to shout back at them, “THIS ISN’T MY HOME; MY HOME IS GONE!” But they wouldn’t understand Pokemon anyway, so really… it wouldn’t have made a difference.

National Herbs and Spices Day
Add some zest and aroma to your dishes, and enhance your culinary creations with a variety of herbs and spices to awaken your taste buds!
A day to bring tons of flavor to everyone’s plates, National Herbs and Spices Day brings out the best taste in a vast array of dishes. From the daily salt and pepper to the more exotic saffron or black cardamom, herbs and spices offer the essence of seasoning to everyone’s table.
And National Herbs and Spices Day is the perfect time to celebrate!
History of National Herbs and Spices Day
People have been using herbs and spices to flavor their food probably since history has been recorded. Some of the earliest ideas guess that hunters would use leaves to wrap their meat in, and discovered quite by accident that the leaves gave the meat a certain type of flavor.
As time went on, more and more plants were discovered to be aromatic and flavorful, as well as often having other beneficial properties. Spices were discovered when the roots, leaves or other parts of plants were dried, then ground and used in cooking. Spices have also been used medicinally all throughout human history.
Ancient Egyptians are recorded to have used cinnamon, poppy and mint, while some early Chinese influences also mention the use of cinnamon (cassia), nutmeg, cloves and many other types of spices. Ancient Mesopotamian sources reveal that thyme, sesame, cardamom and coriander were important.
Throughout history, spices have been considered a valuable commodity and were even used as currency during some time periods. At one time, nutmeg was worth more than its weight in gold. Cloves were often given as bonuses to London dockworkers. And peppercorns were demanded as ransom in the 410 AD capture of Rome.
Beginning in 130 BC the “Silk Road”, was an important way for spice traders to get their wares from the East into the West, particularly between Greece and China. For more than 1500 years, this network of routes contained trading posts, thoroughfares and marketplaces strategically placed for travelers and traders.
Eventually, spice companies began to develop, bringing exotic and unique herbs and spices from far off places, first for the wealthy or royalty and then, eventually, to the common person. Today, just opening a person’s kitchen cabinet can introduce a collection of fragrant and flavorful spices and herbs that likely originated from all over the world!
Enjoying these and learning more about them is the perfect way to celebrate National Herbs and Spices Day!
National Herbs and Spices Day Timeline
2800 BC First mentions of cinnamon in Chinese writings
Native to Ceylon, what is now Sri Lanka, some mentions of cinnamon are made in the Cantonese language where it is known as “kwai”.
1500 BC Spices are used medicinally in Ancient Egypt
Papyrus documents note the use of fennel, caraway, coriander, garlic, mint, onion, poppy and peppermint in medical treatments.
1773 Spices replace black tea in America
With the political problems surrounding the Boston Tea Party, Americans begin making their tea from herbs and spices like lemon balm, sage, chamomile, spearmint, sassafras, and others.
1889 McCormick and Company is founded
This Maryland based spice company starts with door-to-door sales with storage in founder Willoughby McCormick’s basement. It will go on to become the largest spice and seasoning manufacturer in the world.
1897 Bram Stoker’s Dracula is published
With 21 different mentions of garlic, this novel brings to the forefront the legend that vampires have a deep aversion to this root herb.
How to Celebrate National Herbs and Spices Day
Observing National Herbs and Spices Day involves a tempting array of foods, whether cooking them, eating them, or both! Try out these ideas for celebrating National Herbs and Spices Day with the people you love:
Check Out a New Herb or Spice
Get healthier and more adventurous when you try out some new herb flavors instead. Some of these are rather versatile while others are very specific spices that work in certain dishes:
Turmeric. Anyone who has tried cooking dishes originating from India may have experienced turmeric. Also called curcumin, this bright golden colored spice is a relative of the ginger family that can be used to add flavor to curries, relishes, soups, pilaf, vegetables and much more.
Herbs de Provence. A blend of 5-6 different dried herbs, including rosemary, thyme, basil and more. This delectable combination of herbs brings out the full flavor of meats when used as a rub and also works well on grilled vegetables or meat dishes.
White or Pink Pepper. Most Westerners are familiar with black pepper, whether whole or ground, and use it fairly regularly in their cooking. But white pepper is a spice that is traditionally used Jewish or Asian cooking, and it changes the flavor of dishes quite significantly. Pink pepper is similar, but has a slightly sweeter flavor.
Get Healthier Using Herbs and Spices
According to a 2015 study, replacing salt with herbs and spices can cut a person’s daily intake of sodium by almost 1000 mg each day. This type of dietary reduction can help to minimize certain health issues such as high blood pressure, which is a major risk factor for stroke and heart disease.
Not only does substituting herbs and spices help reduce sodium, but certain types of herbs and spices can also help to reduce inflammation and minimize damage to the cells in your body when eaten on a regular basis.
Turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, garlic, chili peppers and cumin are a few spices to get started with incorporating into a healthy diet.
Try Growing Your Own Herbs at Home
Whether outside in the garden or in some potted planters inside, growing herbs at home can be an amazing way to enjoy and celebrate National Herbs and Spices Day using fresh, homegrown items.
Some of the easiest to herbs that can be grown in the backyard or in a container garden at home include:
Basil. This versatile herb can be used in a variety of dishes, including pesto, tomato sauces and vinegars. Or it can be served fresh with tomatoes and mozzarella to make a caprese salad. Plant basil in a space that gets a lot of sun and has well-draining soil.
Mint. Useful in a variety of ways, mint is so prolific that many people like to grow it in containers to keep it from spreading and taking over the whole garden. With more than 600 different varieties, like peppermint, spearmint and chocolate mint, you’re sure to find one you’ll love to put in your iced tea or summer salads.
Parsley. This flat-leafed herb grows easily and is a delight to use for cooking soups and other dishes, as well as placing on dishes as a delightful garnish. Plus, even if it is grown outside it can easily be dried and kept to use over the winter months.
Rosemary. This one grows more like a shrub than a plant. It’s a woody evergreen that offers delightful aromas and loves to be in full sun. Rosemary is an herb that is also known to be healthy for the memory as well as being a mood booster.
National Herbs and Spices Day FAQs
Are herbs and spices the same thing?
Though they are used in similar ways, the difference is that herbs are the fresh part of the plant, while spices come from the dried fruit, stalk, root or fruit. Herbs can be fresh or dried.
What herbs and spices are in KFC?
While KFC’s 11 herbs and spices have been a “secret” for decades, the recipe probably contains salt, white & black pepper, thyme, celery salt, oregano, basil, garlic salt, ginger, dry mustard and paprika.
Do herbs and spices have calories?
Most herbs and spices have very few calories, but they can range from 1 calorie in ¼ cup of cilantro and 3 calories in a teaspoon of oregano to 73 calories in a bulb of fennel.
What herbs and spices are good for dogs?
Basil, cinnamon, ginger and parsley are all safe and healthful for dogs, while onion, salt, garlic, cocoa powder and nutmeg should be avoided for canines.
How to use herbs and spices in cooking?
It’s healthy and delicious to substitute herbs and spices for salt. Add fresh herbs early in recipes to blend flavors, or at the last minute for more distinct flavors. Add ground spices and herbs at the end of a longer cooking process to retain flavor.

I wanted to tag on with a few ideas. Learning to mend my clothes has been a game changer. Especially jeans. Here and here are a few resources. (shout outs to @talesofmetalandmagic) I especially love the one on patching jeans in that first link. A spool of heavy duty thread, a pack of needles, and a yard of cotton canvas will run you less than $15 and you can mend fifty pairs of pants with just that. For half what one pair of pants costs, you can repair your whole closet and then some.
The deep freezer suggestion is excellent. But even if you only have a small fridge freezer, it's pretty amazing how much stuff you can stock away like a little squirrel. Even cooked things! Here I'm going to provide a couple of links to some recipes I posted from back during quarantine. Soup Making 101: You absolutely can make veggie soup and freeze the leftovers! My grandmother (who was raised during the Great Depression) had an amazing veggie soup that was always stocked in her freezer. It's great for using up leftover fresh stuff like mushrooms, spinach, bell peppers, tomatoes... honestly you name it. (also look through my recipe tag... I've got a few different soups in there)
Baked Ziti: This one's great because you can make it, set it up in two 8x8 pans and cook one (will feed 2 people with leftovers) and freeze the other! This recipe also has the bonus benefit of having a tomato sauce recipe built right in!
While we're on the subject of freezers and food... canned and frozen veggies are often a better choice when you're concerned about food waste. And in a lot of cases (especially tomatoes) they're actually better than what you'd get in the produce aisle. Oh... and use up leftover apples or mushy bananas with this recipe for banana bread. You can swap apples in for bananas (or use a little of both!) by grating them on a cheese grater. And the recipe has TONS of substitutions for if you're short on supplies. I make mine with all whole wheat flour and some greek yogurt instead of the oil and about half the sugar. With a little peanut butter it makes for an excellent breakfast. And you can freeze it too! (If you go for apples, add more cinnamon and add a little nutmeg.)
Also, last thing... since the penny pinching is necessary more and more these days by wider and wider demographics of people, Buy Nothing and Free Swap groups are cropping up everywhere and they are definitely worth a look. At the ones around here, often people will put up groceries for grabs (like... if they got a case of soda and didn't like it, or the Instacart did a substitution with something they're allergic to). Most of them abide on the wretched hive of scum and villainy that is Facebook, but in my experience they're pretty aggressively moderated so they don't run afoul of the marketplace bots.
Money-saving sustainability tips
Implementing small sustainability lifestyle changes can save you money while the changes also help the planet, making them a double win. Here are a few ideas to get you started. If you look at your daily activities, I’m sure you will find a lot more.
Shop the “last chance” section in the grocery store. These are reduced-price items that are nearing their use-by date but are still good. Buying them saves you money and keeps the wasted food out of the landfill. Don’t buy more than you can eat and have a plan for using leftovers.
In summer, set the thermostat one or two (or more) degrees higher. In winter, set the thermostat one or two (or more) degrees lower. These changes save energy, which always saves money.
Use it up, wear it out, or repurpose it.
On hot summer days, keep the window shades or curtains closed on the sunny side of the house to help keep the heat out. In winter, close window shades at night and on the shady side of the house to help keep heat inside. Keeping the window shades open on the sunny side of the house in winter lets the solar energy help warm the house.
Unplug electronics and chargers when not in use. Even while turned off, many electronic items draw small amounts of power.
Electric clothes dryers use an average of 6 percent of a household’s energy. Air dry clothing or hang it outside to dry when possible. I frequently dry clothing on low heat for just a few minutes to remove the wrinkles and start the drying process before I air dry the clothes. When you do use the clothes dryer, it takes less energy to dry a load for a longer time at a low temperature than it does to dry a load at a high temperature for a shorter period of time.

✨🔮There's So Many Spell Materials Right in Your Kitchen 💐🍓
🍓You don’t need to immediately jump right up to your local botanica, spiritual shop, or even digital marketplace in order to find ingredients for your spells. A lot of the time, if you’re not able to go outside to forage, you can open up your own pantry and find PLENTY of items for whatever kind of spell work you’re doing. Protection, love, money, cursing….you can find ingredients for anything you want to do in your spice cabinets, in your fridge, in your pantry!
🌷Things like cinnamon and coffee can be used to add speed or quickness in your work.
🌷Cinnamon is also great for protective work because of it's firey hot nature as well. You can use the whole bark or the powder in different ways. Do what works for you and what your spirits or traditions or ancestors suggest.
🌷Cinnamon is ALSO good for money work too! I fucking love cinnamon. It goes SO good with other things like allspice and nutmeg too for money.
🌷 Coffee in general is an ingredient I like to use in my m
🌷 Lemongrass used in tea can be very helpful for calming anxiety. Lemongrass can also be used for cleansings and breaking blocks.
🌷Cornstarch can be used as a base for all of your spiritual powders if you wish!
🌷Cloves are good for domination.
🌷Black pepper is protective, and is very useful in reversals/return to sender work.
🌷Flor de Jamaica/Hibiscus flower is really good for love/beauty work, especially passionate ones. It has a lot of vitamin c as well!
🌷Mint is so good for money work! I love sweet mint the most for this. It’s also good to drink as a tea for when you’re having stomach problems like tummy aches and gas. It’s very easy to grow fresh as well, and can be found for pretty cheap at grocery stores (pssst….if you have SNAP/EBT, you can find mint plants/hierba dulce in supermarkets and they’re SNAP eligible!)
🌷 Apples have also been associated with things like beauty and love, depending on who you’re talking to. The seeds would be very useful in love but alternatively dominating work, depending on what you’re going for. Just be careful!
🌷Onion & garlic skins can always be used for cleansing and protection (garlic for this) purposes in your space and home too
🌷Eggs can be used for offerings (but as always, double check that whoever will accept them!). they can also be used for cleansings as well, and are also used for protection.
🌷Dont forget the egg shells are useful for protection too! And you can use the eggshells as well to create calcium water for your plants, or crushed up so slugs cannot access your plants.
🌷White rum is so good for cleaning as well, so is white vinegar, but for the vinegar I personally think it's especially important to do something to bring sweetness and good things back into your space
🌷 You can literally use any of your kitchen oils to make your own conjure oils -- it doesn't matter if it's vegetable or jojoba or canola or soy or olive (although I PERSONALLY prefer to use olive as base for my money oils & work, as well as my protective work)
🌷Oregano is also good for money, for protection, for situations with court and the law
🌷Orange peels are great for happiness and money! They're also cleansing, so they're great for floor washes. You can boil them if you want to for washes and for a nice scent to the home. You can dry them to use in happiness or money powders or mixes (you can keep the peels whole or turn the dried peels into powder with a mortar and pestle, food processor, or by hand)
🌷 Lemon and limes can be used as strong spiritual cleansers too. I like to boil them and use the water for washes. They can also be used for other workings, especially when you need people to leave you alone and get away from you. You can prep them the same way you would do the orange peels!
🌷 Oats are good for your skin, especially if you have irritation, but are also really good offerings and has been associated with wealth as well.
Make sure at the end of the day you’re talking to your spirits, your ancestors, your intuition, and listen to what they tell you! They’ll always give you the best results, it’s never good to just do whatever the books tell you.
